Magical photos taken inside the cello and other musical instruments 🤍

This musical instrument both sounds great and looks majestic. Even the word "cello" is elegant. If earlier we could appreciate only the external refinement and sound of the instrument, now there is an opportunity to marvel at its internal space.

Romanian surrealist artist and photographer Adrian Borda created a series of shots inside a vintage cello inspired by the Berlin Philharmonic's promotional images that can be found on Behance. Borda did not know how they were created, but, having begun to experiment, he achieved excellent results. Not limited to the cello, he filmed inside the guitar, double bass, saxophone and other instruments.

On "Songs and Symphoniques: The Music of Moondog," Ghost Train Orchestra teams up with the trailblazing Kronos Quartet to celebrate and reimagine the music of Louis Hardin, aka Moondog, the ground-breaking composer and poet who lived on the streets of New York City in the 50s and 60s, and influenced the minimalists Philip Glass, Steve Reich and Terry Riley. A blind composer who moved from Kansas to New York City and built his own instruments and mythology, Moondog's story and music continue to be an inspiration to many. Along with guests Sam Amidon, Jarvis Cocker, Petra Haden, Karen Mantler, Marissa Nadler, Aoife O'Donovan, Rufus Wainwright and Joan Wasser, the two groups explore Moondog's sense of whimsy, wonder and adventure through a cross-section of songs and instrumentals for large ensemble, string ensemble, percussion and voice. The vinyl and CD packages include an essay by biographer Robert Scotto, Moondog's song lyrics, extensive in-studio photographs by Dan Efram, and an interview with Kronos Quartet founder David Harrington and Ghost Train Orchestra founder Brian Carpenter, mediated by music historian Irwin Chusid. yo so there is this Philippine girl pop group called BINI and they've been growing in popularity on twitter not just because of their genuinely impressive vocals and performances, but because of them being one of, if not, the most unhinged OPM stars to ever exist. They are also going viral for being among seemingly the gayest group of Filipino pop girls to ever exist. This review of The Outsiders musical from the NY Times is so funny to me, like did the actors/writers/whoever make Johnny and Ponyboy so gay this reviewer thought they should get hatecrimed??
