Ok so my guess for the other heroes who remember hero in vendetta is that supervillain has somehow turned them against hero or something like that, making it seem like they had to suffer while hero was peacefully in stasis. also wouldn’t it be sooo crazy if vigilante remembered hero and they ran off into the sunset together and lived happily ever after🤩🤩 that is what definitely should happen

I think if love was real, if Vigilante and Hero really loved each other, they could overcome any magic, any spell, any mind-wiping, brainwashing bullshit that stupid Supervillain tried to impose on them

I think Hero and Vigilante should definitely run away into the sunset and forget all the horrible hero/villain business and just be together and live on a farm or something….

i have such a love for characters who descend into madness or villainy out of deep, deep empathy. characters who fundamentally cannot cope with the cruel realities they find themselves in and blow up about it in spectacular fashion. fallen angel type characters with tears of outrage in their eyes. characters who break before they bend, and break so badly they splatter blood all over their noble ideals. every variation on it gets me so good

"So, handling your archnemesis," Danny starts. The room falls quiet, heads slowly turning to look at the man as he writes the words on the chalkboard. When finished, the characters somehow both messy and neat at once, Danny places the chalk back down and claps his hands.

"I typically call them fruitloops. Often they're in a better position than you are- older, richer, more powerful. They may have some sort of status that protects them when facing the public."

Tim wondered where Dick was right now, and if he was laughing. His brain was lagging like a computer as he tried to process what Danny was saying, and how seriously a few of his fellow teen vigilantes were taking this.

"Some of their more common tactics are-" the chalk was picked back up, and Danny writes as he speaks.

"Manipulation, isolation, conditioning, and empathy."

Tim stares at the board, and quietly slips put his phone.

Danny's human form ages like normal, but his default form as Phantom is still the 14y/o he was at his time of death. Luckily he can change that with concentration, since his ghost form is malleable. But he has to a) have the time to enact the change and b) consciously maintain his form. His superhero colleagues don't know he's half alive, so he's typically got his adult ghost form firmly in place before they meet. While fighting a powerful enemy, Phantom's concentration slips and he reverts to child form. Doesn't matter, it's just aesthetics and the enemy is what's important. He’s equally strong in his 14 y/o form. Except, his colleagues are very concerned to “discover” that their teammate is a child who has been lying about his age all this time. So now Danny has to figure out how to convince them that he's just looked 14 for over a decade now, or bite the bullet and show them all his secret identity. Preferably before they demote him to a team of teen heroes, or he gets forcibly adopted.

i love this scene lol. because sometimes i wonder if percy isn’t actually as amazing as i make him out to be in my head, but then i remember scenes like this. leo was SO annoyed with him for being not only super powerful and heroic and handsome, but also a great person too. like he was genuinely upset 😂
