[Addams Family/Disney] Santa delivers a thank you note he received from the only family who adored Jack Skellington's christmas: the Addams family.

"Uh, sir? We received a thank you note."

Nicholas Claus was used to receiving thank you notes. Good children tended to be polite or were asked by their parents to be polite. That didn't mention the amount of mail he got from world governments, thanking him from his service. What raised his eyebrows was the fact that he got a thank-you note this year.

Honestly, after Jack's rampage, he was prepared for nothing.

"Oh, really?" he said. The elf nodded. "Well, that's wonderful!" Nicholas straightened up, feeling a smile form. "Let me see."

"Uh...well...you see..." Huh, the elf wasn't looking at him. They looked down at their feet, pulling out the letter. To realize the issue, Nicholas only had to look at it and see the yellowed envelope and the black A.

Oh.

"It's from them."

"...I got a thank you letter?"

"From a particular family," Nicholas had never expected to be in Halloweentown again. Based on Jack Skellington's gape when he opened the door, neither had he. Nicholas didn't like it, but he didn't want to be rude. He held out the letter. "They're good people, very loving and generous, but they're strange."

Jack stared at the letter like it was going to bite him. It wasn't until he shook it that the skeleton took it, slowly. "I got a letter?" he repeated again.

"I do want to warn you, the daughter of the family has a tendency to-" Jack was already peeling the envelope open. Nicholas took a step back when the scorpion jumped out, skittering on the paper and making those horrible squeaky noises. "She has a tendency to boobytrap the mail she sends," he repeated quickly. "Make sure there's nothing on the paper."

Instead of the usual screams and cries, however, Jack smiled.

"How charming!" he cooed, reaching out. The scorpion seemed to consider the white bone for a moment before stepping onto his hand, settling down and looking content. "Sally has been wanting another pet," Jack said, allowing the scorpion to crawl up onto his shoulder before he pulled out the paper.

Right. This place was insane.

Me and @tanema123 got this little idea for an Halloween special, to draw Zestmilla as Jack and Sally from "The nightmare before christmas"... and so here we are!

The Pumpkin Queen has found her dark lover, and her little monsters are looking forward having a new, terrific dad in their lives!

Probably a regressor!reader on Halloween who gets really excited and accidentally gets into Halloweentown but realizes the monsters are all real and gets scared and then Jack Skellington comes and comforts them and introduces them to all the monsters so the reader can be scared in a fun way again ^-^

I saw that clip again where Matty and George were talking about the "Nightmare Before Christmas Eve" party that they threw when they were teenagers and how it turned into an absolute disaster and couldn't resist! (The people stealing horses from the neighbor's barn and riding them around the backyard really sold me lol) I have it outlined but unfortunately I haven't made a lot of progress in terms of actually writing it yet. I'm really hoping that I'll be able to get it done in time for the holidays because wow am I amusing myself with the content!
