‘ignis’, as the others call him, is someone called leo valdez. and apparently, he’s a pretty good racer.

“look,” I continued, interrupting percy before he started fanboying again, with hearts in his eyes or whatever. “if he’s that good, he can come and beat me at the annual tokyo races.” I declared.

“oh yeah, he probably will,” percy commented. I flung my pillow at his head, and smirked when I found I didn’t miss. “OW!”

“whatever. tell me more about him. what’s he like?”

it was almost as if I asked him to marry leo. and this time, he really did have hearts in his eyes, I fear.

“okay, so supposedly, he builds his own car, like you, and started racing at 17! isn’t that cool? I mean, you did too, but still. it’s cooler when he does it. anyway, he’s locally the undefeated champion of street racing, and oh my god, he drives a 1966 ford gt40, it’s so cool-”

“okayyy, i’ve heard enough. I guess it is going to be fun meeting him at the car meet for the races.” I smirked. “let’s battle it out on the roads, ignis.”

“ok, well, listen up. she’s called tsunami for a reason. she’s vicious, takes everyone by surprise at every race, and is the queen of shinjuku’s street racing. and most importantly? she’s never lost a single race.” piper explained. I took in every bit of that info, and filed into a part of my brain labelled ‘dangerous and pretty competition, stay away’.

“what’s her ride, then?” I asked, a little curious.

“1997 mazda rx-7 veilside fortune.”

“damn,” I whistled. before I could find out more about her, the announcer on the stage started talking.

“welcome, racers and audience! today is day 1 of the annual tokyo races! here’s a quick rundown about it, in case you haven’t a clue: starting today, there will be 23 races for 23 days, each race held in a special ward of tokyo. we start here, at shinjuku, and end the 23rd race at shibuya!”

everyone cheered and whistled at the mention of shinjuku and shibuya, the two hubs of tokyo’s street racing.

starting at tsunami’s turf, and ending in mine, huh? this was going to be fun.

Fun facts about “Kingdom of Wishes” characters

I’m bored, so have some random facts about the characters from my wish rewrite!

Random picture just cause I like to have eye catching pics as “thumbnails” for my blogs and also I can totally see my version of Asha making this pose.

Anyway, if you haven’t read my Kingdom of Wishes- A Wish Rewrite then this post might not make much sense, feel free to read it anyway though, there’s no spoilers.

On to the fun facts!

Asha✨

Asha sometimes sits hunched over when she's drawing. Her friends constantly have to remind her to keep her back straight otherwise she'll get a bad posture.

After Simon gave away his wish and became… Well, sleepy, she had to become the voice of reason in their group, the big sister in a way, since she was now the eldest. She wasn’t that good at leading before though so she left most of it to Dahlia.

Asha's favorite color is purple, obviously, and she dresses in purple for her birthday, however, her second favorite color that she also wears often is orange.

She's not very good interacting with kids, believe it or not, of course she likes kids, but she has a hard time knowing how to play with them.

Asha did meet the king in person ONCE before her 18th birthday… I’ll leave it at that.

Aster 💫

Aster is canonically the star Lacaille 8760

Picked this one because it looks like he’s boxed up in the middle of other brighter stars that make up the Microscope constellation, and yeah there is a microscope constellation and it’s straight up just a square. He’s one of the nearest stars to the Sun, at about 12.9 light-years' distance, however his light is so faint it’s almost impossible to see with the naked eye.

2. Aster’s eyes can see what people desire, more clearly if he holds the person’s hand, like an empath, but even without touching the person he can see what they want, but only if he focus, and the way he sees it is like words surrounding the person.

3. I said this once in a ask but I’ll say it again, I see Aster and Rapunzel’s powers as connected, not that all Disney movies are connected with KOW, but Tangled at least is pretty close. So, Rapunzel got her powers from a sun drop, right? Well, the sun is a star, we can assume she has star powers. My point is that if Aster was to sing the Rapunzel’s healing song they’d glow and heal any injured person around, and make the elderly younger, Magnifico sure didn’t know that though because if he did he’d just do what Gothel did and lock Aster up.

4. Aster could hear Asha reading stories with Sabino every night, and that’s one of the many ways they became interested in human culture.

5. Aster often annoyed some stars by complaining that their constellations didn’t look like what humans called them as, like the Cetus constellation doesn’t look like a sea monster, or the Leo constellation didn’t look like a lion, even though the stars had no control over how humans saw them as and they couldn’t change their positions in the sky.

Magnifico 🫧

Magnifico could look younger if he drank his wife's rejuvenating potions, but they taste horrible and every time she drinks them (Twice a year) she screams in agony like her insides are burning, only to then turn to him with a smile and ask "Want some, my love?" and he just replies with "... Thanks dear, but I think I'll stick with my skincare routine."

Most of his "passionate king" persona he got from copying his brother's mannerisms, after all, his father always said he should be more like his little brother.

He kinda hates that little hair strand coming out on his forehead, but no matter how much hair gel he applies on it, the hair strand always comes back... Also his brother had an identical one.

Kings and queens in Rosas usually don't wear crowns, as the culture is for them to feel close to the people, not above them. However, Magnifico gifted Amaya with a tiara, that has a red garnet on her forehead, red garnets are associated with love, passion, and desire, but it has also been known to represent other things such as courage, strength, and protection. Basically he gave her a lucky charm. He also gave her the sash with the drawing of a moon she wears on her waist, it used to be his when he was a prince.

I can’t for the life of me decide which one of these Magnifico would wear to sleep:

I can see him wearing either of them. Same for Amaya.

Amaya 👑

1.Amaya pretty much had to teach Magnifico how to be a likable figure. I implied it a little bit in the story with Magnifico saying stuff like “Well, I did have the best teacher” to Amaya after he made a little acting scene on chapter “When Blue Turns Green”. Point is, before meeting her Magnus was pretty much an antisocial, reclusive prince that avoided even being seen in public. For him to become the larger than life, enthusiastic king we know in the story he and Amaya had to practice his social skills a lot, think of it like Belle teaching the Beast proper manners, Amaya changed him… But for the worst.

2.Like I explained on her backstory, Amaya is from Greece, and she committed some very serious crimes over there. So every time Rosas receives visitors from Greece Amaya puts on the hood of her cloak over her head during the wish ceremonies. It’s kinda funny, any other wish ceremony she looks normal, but whenever Greek people are around she goes:

3.I imagine some fun shenanigans must have happened over the years with Amaya’s potions going wrong, like she tests it on a rat and it turns into a giant rat running around the castle, or she mislabels the potions and drinks one that turns her into a worm 🐛 so Magnifico gotta prove he’d love her even if she was a worn and turn her back to normal.

4.Amaya is kinda like the moon in this story, because the moon doesn’t shine every night, in some phases the moon is barely visible, just like how Amaya is most of the time more in the background while Magnifico shines like the sun, but, when it IS her time to shine, just like a full moon, she outshines Magnifico himself.

5.She likes to feel comfy, she often walks around the castle with no shoes on most of the time but no one can tell because of her long dress.

Orm let YN sleep through his conversation with Arthur. The council taking over the investigation of the attacks was concerning. Orm had asked Arthur for every detail about the meeting and what he knew about the current councilmembers. When he heard Orlan was now in charge of the investigation he frowned.

The nobles however, they just follow power and once I had it and had to put you into prison Orlan and the few other nobles still sticking by you kind of lost support,” Arthur said. “Even his son, Leo, defected from him and went missing.”

“He went missing? Are you sure? Or did Orlan send him away so he could gather supporters from other kingdoms so he could stage attacks on the surface and blame me?” he said. Arthur considered this.

“I’ll look into it, see if anyone knows where Leo is,” Arthur said. He waved by and headed out. Orm went back into the bedroom and slid in bed next to YN. She snuggled back into him and he took stock of how she felt against him. His hand drifted up and down her side slowly, feeling how soft she was. Then the door had opened by the Knights wolves beastmens that guard the door of the kingdom,after they all go inside the kingdom,all of wolves beastmens immediately bowed to two kings sich as King Richard and General Leo,while Emperor Fenrir gets up from his throne,and goes inside to meet his old friends. After Emperor Fenrir goes outside and walks through his people to meet King Richard,when he see his old friends at the middle of road of his kingdom, and he immediately said" Long time no see, King Richard and King Leo. It's been awhile,that the last time we met." Both king Richard and King Leo/General Leo say hi to their old friend,before King Richard saying that" You know why we are here,right?" Emperor Fenrir nodded before saying" I know why you're here,King Richard to end this conflict between the Kings and the Emperors."then King Richard replied with " Yeah,this conflict between our family of the Kings and the Emperors will end today. And then we reunited to fight our real enemies." Emperor Fenrir immediately said" Then,what do you gonna with that? Such as devouring my people?"" Then both King Richard and Emperor Fenrir had clashes with their sword,both of them are so strong,while the others are watching to see the winner. After the long fight between King Richard and Emperor Fenrir,King Richard has won,whilst Emperor Fenrir lies on the ground,but King Richard shows his kindness to his friend,and he extended his hand for his friend Emperor Fenrir ro grabbed his hand. The wolves beastmens in the city,and the goats beastmens and the three handsome brothers pigs and,the cats, dogs, others pigs and the foxes beastmens that had arrived eariler,before they're bowing to their leader of their alliance. Then all of them said" Long live the Kings and the Queens!!!!!!" All of them said the same thing to their leader of the alliance of the beastmens,the Kings and the Queens of the goats beastmens. Before they get up,and roar like an iguanodon from Disney Dinosaur 2000,for their celebrations that the alliance of the all beastmens finally reunited once again to protect their home from the income threat.

After hours later of the celebrations of all beastmens,and all of the beastmens's kingdom become as one country,when the some kinght of the foxes beastmens named Toya had sent by his Kings to reporting a bad news that's happened outside their Kingdom,then Toya the Knight fox beastmens had arrived back,after he heard about the bad news,then he called out" Everyone,your majesty, my king,I had very bad news to you." Then King Richard asked" What is it, Commader Toya?" And Toya immediately replied" the dark werewolves had back,and now they had attacked at the mankinds kingdom,sir." All of the beastmens immediately realised that the dark werewolves had returned,and now they had attacked at the humans, all of them should be prepared for the real war fo protecting the balance and their home.

2 months later,after the beastmens rebuild their kingdom,in first day of December

Somewhere that's away from the Beastmens kingdom,at the mankinds kingdom,King Gilgamesh and King Solomon had a conversation with their duke, duchess,knight and huntsman named Albert,that one their knight had reported to them that," The dark werewolves had returned. And one of them had attacked at the one village of ours. And what are we do,your majesty?" Then King Gilgamesh said" Albert the huntsman,we will send you to that village to deal with that dark werewolf. While we had take care of these dark werewolves here." Albert the huntsman nodded before leaving outside of the castle and leaving his city to goes to that village of mankinds where the red riding hood's village had got attacked by one of the dark werewolf.

The red riding hood named Joshua,and now he goes to his granpa houss for visiting him. Meanwhile on the road that Joshua the red riding hood has walk on, there's one of the dark werewolf here,and his name is Theodore, he's the dark werewolf,and he wears blue shortpants,his skin is now covered by a brown fur,and he's anthro wolf now,because the dark werewolves can transform in the daylight and in the midnight. In the daylight,the dark werewolves will transform their body into anthro wolf to survive in the day of sunlight,while in the midnight,they used the full moon to transform to show their true form to their enemies that they devoured with.

Theodore had met Joshua the red riding hood,and saying" Hello,young man. You looked so handsome,and what is your name." Then Joshua replies with" I'm Joshua,and I'm going to visit my granpa."before Joshua say any words,then Theodore decided to attacking him,and opened his mouth wide to swallowed Joshua whole. At that Joshua's granpa named Henry, he had goes outside of his house to meet his grandson,but when he's arrived at that moment,he saw that his grandson has been swallowed by Theodore the brown werewolf of the dark werewolves,before Theodore lets out his satisfied belch" Uuuurrrpp!" Then Joshua's red hood has coming out of Theodore's mouth,whilst the basket was on the ground. Then Theodore decided to opened the basket,and find out that this basket has a lot of cupcakes, and Theodore decided to eat all of cupcakes,while his gut is looking like a watermelon of a person who's eneded in there. While Theodore is eating the cupcakes,his meal in his gut is squirming so hard, Joshua decided to squirming to made this werewolf spit him out,but he failed because Theodore has enjoyed his meal's squirming so much. When Albert has arrived to see what's going on this village,and he sees Theodore the brown werewolf, he immediately attaked him without noticing a bloated gut of this werewolf. Theodore's gut still squirming and struggling,when Albert catches Theodore up in the air,and then Theodore tries to escape with struggling,whilst Albert grabbed him.

Then Theodore finally escaped,and he ran back to the mountain that he came from,Henry sit down on his knees and start crying that he lost his grandson to these dark werewolves. Albert looked so shocked about the situation that he failed to save the people from the dark werewolves's attacking.

But there's a hope,that there's still another werewolf here in this village,that got left by Theodore the brown werewolf,this werewolf has a white fur and his name is Daniel,and he wears a blsck trunks underwear. And now,he has two buffed handsome guys in his gut, and his gut is looking like human-shape of a person who's trapped in there. When Daniel the white werewolf saw his friend Theodore the brown werewolf had left him here alone in the human's village. When Albert the huntsman saw him,he immediately grabbed Daniel by his neck before asking" You and your friend are the one who's attacking this village." Which Daniel replied with" Yes,My Alpha has sent me and Theodore here to attacking this village for all of the dark werewolves to having a meals while my alpha has prepared an armies of the dark werewolves that called from the others side of the countries to back at the forest mountain there." Before Dainel the white werewolf asked" You think you can save these people,Albert the huntsman. We,the dark werewolves had known too nuch about you. But you think you can make me spit these two buffed guys out from my gut. I will not let them out,because they're my meals. A meals should stay in there,and they hit the spot so much. Hahahaha!!" Albert looked so much after Daniel the white werewolf had laughed at him,until he heard eard the two guys in this werewolf's gut,and they said" Don't worried about us,Mr Albert. You still can save us by devouring this werewolf,with us inside his gut. Do it,Mr. Albert. You can save everyone,before they did this to everyone in other city in village. Do it,now." Then Albert opened his mouth wide,and Daniel the white werewolf said" Wait,what are you doing? Let me go. I had someone that I had to take care. Please let me go. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" After hours later of swallowing this white werewolf,Daniel the white werewolf had been devoured by Albert the huntsman,and now he's ended up inside Albert the huntsman's gut,before he's saying" Let me out. If I'm out,I will eat you next." While outside Albert's gut,his gut still squirming so much,that made him let a belch out like this" Uuurrrpp!" Henry immediately approached to Albert,Albert immediately say sorry to Henry,because he save Henry's grandson from those dark werewolves,but Henry said" It's okay,Mr.Albert. And you still can save the others from them. And I know that my grandson still alive in that werewolf's gut.

Somewhere at the forest mountain, Nemesis the Alpha of all of the dark werewolves, had gathered his pack from around the world,then Theodore immediately approached him and said" My lord,Daniel has been captured by Albert the huntsman." Lord Nemesis didn't shock or anything but he said " looked like you had leaving him,and let Daniel be devoured by that huntsman." Before he grabbed Theodore's neck, Theodore immediately replied" Please,my lord,I will not fail next time." Lord Nemesis immediately replied" If you say so,I will let you go for now. If you failed again next time, I will devouring you. Got it." Theodore the brown werewolf nodded, before he asking" My lord,did we going attack at the humans kingdom,now?" Lord Nemesis the Alpha dark werewolf replied with" Yes, Theodore,my servant. We will attacking at the humans kingdom tomorrow. And they'll prepared for the incoming war,after we've done with these mankinds,and then the beastmens are next to attacked. Hahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahaahahhahahahahahaah!!"

LISTEN I CRY EVERY FUCKING TIME it's just the best, ROBOT DADDY??? HOT MOMMY???? The T-1000 is so scary?? ALL THESE RIDICULOUS EPIC FIGHT SCENES AND THE ACTORS ARE JUST NOT EMOTING AT ALL BECAUSE THEY'RE ROBOTS? The director's cut with the extra scene where John is trying to teach the Terminator to smile and you realize when he does his little side smirk it's because he's copying John's smile, bc when he copied randos it didnt fit on his face?!??! Eddie Furlong's voice cracking which feels like such a happy accident because he's a weak little fragile human in contrast to the killing machine?? PLEASE.

IT'S WEIRD, IT'S KINKY, IT'S GAY, IT'S CHEESY, IT'S GOT PRACTICAL EFFECTS THAT ARE KINDA COOL BUT KINDA STUPID, IT'S GOT THE GRAINY 80S COZY FEEL, IT'S GOT INCREDIBLE FEMALE SEXUALITY AND BAD ACTING, I JUST LOVE IT. okay this one and the next one and the last one are all GRAINY 80S COZY FEEL, you have to understand that I grew up watching 80s horror from like the age of 5 so that flim look, the grain, the flat lighting, it just !!!!!!! gives me so much cozy fuzzy warmth for childhood and I just adore it. Anyway !!!!!!1 I LOVE THIS MOVIE SO MUCH it's so extremely dark and also extremely absurd, somehow it's so magnetic that you are immediately immersed even though it's got the aesthetic of a bad TV movie, it's just wonderful I adore it. ALSO a rare super faithful Stephen King adaptation!

An American Werewolf in London [1981]

PRACTICAL EFFECTS MY BELOVED!!!!!!!!11 blah blah cozy 80s, but also! FUNNY! ROMANTIC! TRAGIC! SCARY WHEN IT NEEDS TO BE! I'm so deeply deeply impressed by the practical effects in this film, too! But wow it's so good every time, the hot nurse in this movie is a crazy monsterfucker I adore her, it's a good Armand/Daniel AU, the end is a gut punch every fucking time, it's the best, a naked American man stole my balloons, etc. Absolutely perfect film.

Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain [2001]

VISUALLY STUNNING FILM ABOUT AN ASEXUAL WOMAN WITH SOCIAL ANXIETY, PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. I think this movie like, changed my life maybe? I think I saw it when I was 15 or so and it just had such a huge impact on me. I used to watch it so much I would just turn the subtitles off because I'd get distracted and didnt even need them anymore. It's a movie I used to bring with me when I traveled, like I brought the DVD with me when I studied abroad because I was so scared I'd have anxiety or get homesick, I just always wanted to be able to watch it if I need to. IF I WATCH THIS AT THE WRONG TIME OF THE MONTH I CRY MY EYES OUT which is cathartic in the end, idk if it's comfy or comforting but wow. but wow really amazing film it's so beautiful and had such a huge impact on my worldview and my creativity and the way I write and the way I do photography and just !!! ;.; I'm gonna cry!

The Departed [2006]

I really like it when Leo DiCaprio cries and he's not a super crybaby in his one but he does scream in pain and have the shit beat out of him and has panic attacks and needs anxiety meds! The cast is sick! The music is amazing! It's such cool storytelling!!! It's exciting every time! The ending fucks! GOD. Just wonderful, I love it so much. The Blu-ray starts over every time it ends so every time I watch it I tend to walk away and let it loop all day LOL. It's disgusting how many times I've watched it. ALSO MY BABE VERA FARMIGA WHAT A MILF god i love her.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall [2008]

this is like such a perfect comedy for my sense of humor, INCLUDING A BONUS DRACULA SUBPLOT CAN YOU BELIEVE IT, but is actually such a clever and lovely story about getting over heartbreak wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love this movie so fucking much oh my god. Also ever since I worked on ships I feel like especially potent to it because there's something about the social community within the resort that feels so much like the community of a cruise ship crew!! ;.;

"please don't leave me alone again" For Leo

Was it just his imagination or was the room super cold? Whether it was all in his head or if something had happened to the heater - it was ridiculous, they were in Florence. Even if it was in the northern parts of Italy, it wasn't exactly as cold here as it was in some parts of the Alps... Which, truth to be told, weren't all that far from here, but there was still a significant difference - it didn't stop Leo from shivering, tucking the blanket tighter around himself. He looked up, bleary-eyed, at Izumi.

"It's... It's not your fault. I just... I had to get away. It's not... It's just my head, Sena. It's got nothing to do with you. C-can you believe me on that? I didn't mean to abandon you or anything. I..." He cut himself off, digging himself deeper into the blanket cocoon he had created.

"I'm sorry." He had thought, had really thought, that his bad brain-days had been all left behind, that he wouldn't have to deal with those thoughts anymore. Wouldn't bother Izumi with them anymore. It was all left behind in his room back home in Japan, right? That room where he had spent a good half year of his life cooped up. That too had been him running away, hadn't it? Nothing different from what he had done now.

And again it was Izumi who had to suffer from it.

He was trembling like a leaf in Izumi's arms as he looked up at him. Eyes were slowly filling with tears and the Adam's apple on his throat bobbed up and down as he swallowed once, twice, thrice, fighting to keep the tears from spilling over.

A more pronounced shudder rippled through him at the mention of his dad and his breath stuttered in his chest, hands coming to grip tightly around Izumi's upper arms.

"He won't be mad at me, right? He won't, right?" He heard the other words too, how Izumi said that he wasn't a bad person, how he was good, and worthy of love but it was like they were merely sounds. Didn't quite register the meaning. Only filed them away for studying and analyzing later.

"Don't let me go, Sena. Please, don't."

There was a soft, mewling sound escaping from Leo as Izumi tugged him closer. He shouldn’t hold him, he didn’t deserve to be comforted, did he? That was something that should be reserved for good boys, and he wasn’t. But it was Izumi and he simply couldn’t push him away, it didn’t feel right. And he was greedy because he was bad, so he could simply lean into that greediness, couldn’t he? Just this once?

“Won’t… Ever need to?” How funny that this was the part that stuck out to him the most. Leo turned his pale, strained face to look at the young model with puffy, wild eyes.

“You’ll come with me?” And… He was strong enough? Him? Really? Izumi had that much faith in him?

That thought caused tears to rise in Leo’s eyes and he had to look down, look away. Ew. Ew, emotions. Why were they always so stupid?

“But… But I’m not… I’m not worth enough… I’m not worthy of you to be this kind to me, Sena…”

“Leo-kun. Just listen, okay? Don’t argue.” 

His words were quiet but firm, his hand moving to Leo’s chin to make him look back up at him. He met his eyes but his expression remained soft.

The guilt he was experiencing right now. The thought that maybe he hadn’t helped Leo. That he’d helped make this feeling of general shittiness about himself worse overwhelmed him. But he had to ignore it now.

Had to fix things if he could.

It was his job now, after all. He’d claimed the smaller man and said he’d look after him.

“You deserve the world, Leo-kun. You’re worth anything you ask for, anything you work for and you’re definitely worth a lot more than your Dad and anyone who has made you feel like shit. You’re not a bad person. Far from it. You’re too kind for your own good half the time.”
