Magneto and Polaris talk shop

Honestly, this feels like an odd thing for Lorna to ask - and especially to ask of Magneto. It's always nice to see them together, but it feels like this was a discourse Hickman wanted and chose these two. I think it would have been more interesting to reverse the roles. Then again, these two have definitely suffered a lot from humans as a sociological group. Genosha is a big one, the Holocaust.

It's really just a setup for the introduction of the Five anyway. This feels like so long ago for me now, but I can still remember how blown my mind was. 'Goldballs! TF? Proteus lives! Tempus, where have you been, my fellow Australian?'

Elixir! No longer gold or black. Hope! Back from obscurity! Polaris' next question is a more interesting one - 'aren't they just clones?' For some reason this was a fandom argument for quite a while when it was answered in House of X.

I do wish Mags and Lorna's relationship received more attention during the First Krakoan Age. X-Factor did a little and would have done more but was cancelled for reasons I'll never know. He scolded her for drinking and hanging out with Havok (fair) at the first Gala, but after that we only got her being affected by his death and overjoyed he was alive (and team up to kill Nimrod.) Maybe they just don't have a super close relationship, or don't gel well socially - but it's not hard to put that on the page.

Haha, Havok is jealous of Dog Boy.

Right now Lorna is more extreme politically than Magneto is, being a member of the Mutant Underground and in explicit conflict with the US military. The US military is a global oppressor and predator with a terrible mutant record - you'd think they'd have a lot to say to each other. Not to mention supporting each other during a period of trauma for all, plus apparently one of risk. Lorna died once that we saw - at the hands of The Morrigan - I'd expect Mags to warn her. Mags' mobility is restricted by disability and geographic isolation, but they both have phones, probably.

Part of being a Lorna fan is living with disappointment, but as books start to interact with each other hopefully we'll see them interact.

Depending on where you're located, you can either directly message someone in the MU (like me! I'm based in the Chicago area primarily) who will then meet and vet you, or you can go to drop points (which are marked with different symbols) and try to petition yourself there. The latter is more common for people seeking refuge, but do be warned that there is extreme suspicion for anyone who shows up unannounced. Even those who are visibly a mutant have the potential to be inside agents, so you will most likely go through rigorous interrogation/vetting before being allowed in on the main operations.

Sonic Underground: the Bounty Hunters

The former independent contractors were so screwed over lol

Married, though the two aren't exactly public with this knowledge given their line of work

partial roboticization was Robotnik's warning to the two after their initial failure to capture the Triplets

the two were rather well known in their field before being forced to work for robotnik

not in charge of/responsible for anything outside of catching the Sonic Underground, while also making sure their competition doesn't get to the brats first

this leads to the rare team ups as they'd rather "loose" in the short team and let the Sonic Underground run off free than let the other bounty hunters get them first

they have a kid who is staying with Sleet's older sister until th contracts up

Sleet

is more involved in the fights, he gives long distance assistance role with his rifle and grapple

brains of the operation, he tends to be the one who selects which missions/bounty's the two take on

hates working for Robotnik- not because he minds doing the dirty work, but because they don't get paid nearly the amount they normally would and are explicitly forbidden from taking on more contracts until the Sonic Underground are caught and roboticized

shapeshifting remote doesn't shapeshift Dingo but helps him restore him to his Default form if he gets stuck (which happens more and more often when Dingo is stressed out)

Notes about the Notes

Although "All Hallow's Thieves" is technically the first and only 2003's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles episode to take place on Halloween, it's not the first time the show has delved into the 'horror movie' motif. That would be "Notes From the Underground" Parts 1-2-3.

4Kids' version of TMNT made it clear from episode 1 that this would be a much more darker and more intense Ninja Turtles experience (Compared to the legacy of the 1987 'toon), "Notes From The Underground" really pushed the creepy factor to 5 (out of 5)

this....was not supposed to be a full on illustration :S was very much inspired by @sheep-turtles-and-pizza's lovely drawing of mikey with flowers in his hair

i was rereading somerandomdudelmao comic (again lol) so the hair matches more in that comic than algae like in the original design

i just...kept tinkering and adding to it and playing around with CSP brushes

would like to do the crypid version but i'm not good with drawing spooky stuff so i put all my self-indulgence in this

Sonic Underground Reprise: Dingo's Disguises

exploring how dingo's transformation would work

can't change colors, but can take on the aspects of the species

best at maintaining canine forms for long term but he can transform into pretty much anything if briefly

can't take on "special" abilities unique to an individual he copies, like if he transformed into Sonic he couldn't get get his super speed

BUT he does take on the species aspects- a tiger's night vision, a rabbit's high jump, that kind of thing

all of his forms retain his base strength and intelligence

some of these forms have established reputations of their own, most notably Lady Penelope, also known "the Blade of Hera"
