my current opinion on aegon blackfyre is that dany will convince herself he is a blackfyre pretender and jon will remain convinced he actually is rhaegar’s son and we will never know the truth, it will stay completely vague with circumstantial evidence on both sides to back up both jon and dany’s feelings about it and that is the most narratively satisfying route for aegon as a character.

"At the end ... I say at the end, but honestly, Q2 was - we need to talk about it and figure it out. At the time, it didn't make sense to me, but also you can't have drawn conversations because time is the essence. But yeah, both runs I felt like our plan was well off. At the end, we're struggling to get the lap in, so creating enemies in the last corners overtaking. I hate when people do it to me, but I'm being told to do it, otherwise we won't get a lap in. Still, you start 1 - 2s behind Zhou, you're not going to get a good lap in dirty air. That was certainly not one of our good sessions. We will address all we need to. What's done is done now. We're 15 and that's that, but we've struggled this weekend. The last three weekends haven't been easy but we've found a way to make it work. This weekend, as a team, wasn't going to be easy and the frustration comes from that as well because we don't have the luxury to not get it right. I felt like both runs in Q2, we were doing a very questionable run. Far from optimised, but not saying we could be P8 or something like that, but we didn't give ourselves a chance today. After we debrief and get everything off our chest, I'll look forward to a hot shower"

im watching a retrospective about Majora's Masks dungeon progression and realizing a little more every time he says "this game took a lot of very brave steps out to not be ocarina of time" that my disappointment with totk isn't out of place. I've been told "it's breath of the wild 2, why did you expect it to be different?" but like.. it's it's own game. why is it the exact same but with an arguably worse iteration of the story?

#i actually have a very long list of reasons i dont like totk but yall have heard all of them a million times before #he makes a point of showing how the 3ds remakes ruined a lot of majoras masks unique boss fights #and i agree completely. i think its emblematic of how zelda has changed as a franchise #if the most casual non gamer would be frustrated by a puzzle or fight it needs to be dumbed down NOW!#vs how the games used to be almost mythical. like how people STILL talk about the old water temples #how it used to be an EXPERIENCE to go thru dungeons. it would take hours #it would feel like something #the quote unquote dungeons in totk are the subway surfer tiktoks of ingenuity. its so disappointing #totk is only better than botw in 2 facets. it handles fantastically. and tulin. thats it that's all it did to be its own game #oh and the brave choice to not even mention revali by name which is fucking hilarious #genuinely so disappointing that they can have more money and man power than god and the games are worse now
