Also the right arm is golded instead of brass because it’s a métaphore of being the right arm of Magnus and a reference to the golden scheme of the Thousand Sons and absolutely not a mistake.

Homebrew tip time! Image doesn't really show this well, but if you want black armour to look less bland, grab any white paint and thin it a ton, and smother it all over. Then do the same but with black after. You get this dry dusty look with black highlights in places you brushed a lot. You can experiment with wetblending and other colours, but it breaks up those boring black surfaces!
