And…God he shudders to remember. Jon picked him up like he was nothing but a child's doll! Of all the indignities he's ever suffered, that was the most outrageous! Jonah had lashed out, following instincts he hadn't possessed previously, and with sharp claws he didn't recall ever having, he sliced the scarred flesh of the Archivist, leaving a thin trail of blood in his wake. The man didn't even flinch. His eyes fixated on Jonah, now filled with unblinking annoyance. “There's no need for that.”
