Yeah, I watched the show, but I'm not heavily involved in the fandom. I think I've occasionally reblogged gifs and thats it? I haven't finished season three. You'll notice if you take even a cursory look at my blog that I am mainly an Avatar blog, my guy. The Walking Dead, It, Stranger Things, then Avatar. Accuse me of being biased about any of my actual hyperfixations. Never have I been known in the Young Royals fandom world. No offense Young Royals fans, but I am not as passionate about this show as others??

Tumblr- actually use as a social media site either despite or because it not really being structured like a true social media website

Snapchat- this is what i call the "photographs of pets and occasional concert footage" app. it's for seeing my friends pets. i can't believe people actually use this one.

Discord- discord is literally a texting app. and occasionally watching tv shows with my friends at 360p

Goodreads- this is a personal tracking app. i also use storygraph. as a personal tracking app. i technically have two (2) friends on there but lol.

Letterboxd- same as good reads. I use this as a personal tracking app. this is the only way i know how many movies i've watched this year. i forget it's supposed to be social

Americans Don’t Value Honesty

Honesty is a virtue, or it is supposed to be, but if you look at American culture and American politics you would see that it is not valued in America. I am an American and it has been my subjective experience that Americans are some of the most dishonest people in the world. I know this subjective experience is likely wrong as it is based on one man’s observations. This has led me to believe that on a cultural level, Americans do not value truth or honesty. In fact Americans value lies and liars over facts and truth tellers any time.

I remember watching Jay Leno in the 90s, one of his monologue jokes was “It’s so cold you can see the lies coming from a politician’s mouths” (I can’t find a video of this joke). It was expected that politicians would lie and it is still that way today. Politicians don’t face consequences for their lies, people just accept that politicians lie. Whats worse is that the supporters of president Lump like that he lies, and it’s not just his supporters. The US has truth in advertising laws, yet unless one claims to cure cancer or HIV it seems these laws are not enforced. And no one cares, no one is calling their congressmen demanding real truth in advertising laws be passed or that the flimsy truth in advertising laws we have now be enforced, no one is protesting false ads, no politician has ever ran on a platform of stopping false ads. People hate whistleblowers even though they are heroes who are exposing corruption and practices that cause harm to people, even the people who hate them. People will lie just to fit in, they will lie about what they do, believe, think, or how they feel. People will lie because they think the world is supposed to be the way the lies make it out to be, even though they don’t believe it themselves. This is so bad it distorts what people believe the majority believes. People will side with abusers when victims come out causing those already traumatized victims even more trauma, they would rather the abuse stay hidden than expose and remove the evil. In most corporate cultures people are unwilling to admit when they are wrong despite the fact that where people can admit they are wrong they do their jobs better.

These are all because of one major issue, Americans, on a cultural level, do not value honesty, truth and facts. Americans value lies and liars. This is why people like Trump, Musk, and Vance have popularity, it is the source of the popularity for grifters like cryptobros, alpha male grifters like Andrew Tate, it is why people will accept bullshit conspiracy theories over demonsterable facts. Facts and truth don’t matter to so many Americans because it does not matter to the culture. Americans don’t value honesty, they value lies and liars.

I think I am officially at the point where I hate those 'how to spot AI' tips and tricks lists and the paralyzing anxiety around ever interacting with anything generative AI far more than I could ever actually hate generative AI. The 'signs' that something is AI get less and less clear-cut with each passing day and yet people keep sharing 'tips and tricks' that basically just encourage you to scrutinize everyone's art and call AI the moment you see something even slightly out of the norm. 'If an artist has wildly different art styles that's AI!' or maybe they just have different art styles. 'If the lines blur and details don't make sense it's AI!' or maybe it's a deliberate choice in the art. 'If the anatomy is off it's AI!' or maybe it's a stylistic choice or the artist just isn't very good at anatomy. 'If there's lots of art of popular topics in similar styles it's AI!' are you kidding me. Etc. Even worse when people start sharing tips on how to clock writing AI that basically boil down to 'if the English is nonsensical it's AI' like, or maybe the author just doesn't speak English very well? If that 'The Rumor Does Come Out: Does Bruno Mars Is Gay?' article came out today everyone would be swearing up and down that it's AI when it was just bad English (idk if the author genuinely didn't speak English well or if it was a joke but either way the point stands I think). 'If the article is nonsensical it's AI' or maybe it was just a rush job for little money come on now are we going to pretend shitty inaccurate articles started with AI? Saw a post that said 'if the writing seems overly stiff and formal it's AI' and they proceeded to list examples that I have said pretty much verbatim because I'm autistic and often have trouble figuring out how to start posts in a way that sounds natural. This shit sucks!

Like I'm not saying these signs can't be AI, I've definitely read nonsensical articles before and thought 'that's probably AI' or seen blogs recently created with a bunch of art in wildly different styles and thought 'that's probably AI' but the point is you can't know for sure. Fact is that most ways of telling whether something is AI or not at this point are entirely vibes based. And maybe I'm just a gullible naive bitch or whatever but I really do feel like ruthlessly scrutinizing each piece of art you see and insisting it's AI based on vibes and refusing to believe the artist when they say it isn't is in fact way more harmful than occasionally interacting with AI art. Also I just refuse to live like that rip to everyone else but I'm different.

speaking of bsol through speaking of xmas xtrav that like i'm so augh god hand over heart falling over (just like the bloodsong b/c it's the like conclusion of being Overwhelmed By Artistic Effect that then in the ideal version you may as well die) at the thought of the finale where you have the main plot conclude as that Story w/those Themes like ah but even then, the influence, the other the musicians now, that this whole time like yeah you have to do it even if you just keep building or die or were thwarted even prior to that b/c you didn't know you wouldn't be....but that then just like in the opening song Outlaw or sort of distillation of the theme abt being someone making art Last On Land or that at other points other characters have emerged as not really their characters not really a greek chorus but elements of the story helping to Tell It, here's Everyone again for the friendship song altogether & each with an instrument & like not even able to see it but pics & imagining & the enthusiasm & the Thematic Resonance like this is when you are pursuing these pursuits together like _o__ (splayed out facedown emoji) aaauuughhh ;;mm;; bsol finale with everyone showing up playing & singing & dancing the song celebratory finale it's all the Theme when the full cast of Characters had only ever all been together for the one standoff scene at the end & yet obviously We've known them all & everyone is outlaws which is a song like i'm already going sicko mode & this is just the intro, so yknow, The Conclusion, good lord find an iconis musical finale without that place for the celebratory outpouring of enthusiasm right amidst other feelings & situations but Good Lord Here's This in a story that'll always have been all about people's depths & heights & widths & breadths & variations & tumult & all the dimensions, people will have Brought It all over the place & it's like yes leap around together playing & singing this song together which isn't The Story but is such an extension of it b/c bsol has its show within the show quality still infused all in it & if this flurry of Actors Celebrating Outpouring We Put On This Show but still within the show you are seeing as an audience in this venue wouldn't have been part of the original plan with a whole [outside the show within the show] plotline like. embraces bsol holding it so hard my becherished
