I don’t usually post things with my face on here, but I went as Jonny D’Ville for Halloween, and since a lot of it was rented and needed to be returned come November, I decided to do something a little different

Fun facts!:

With this costume, I won $50 at a costume contest I didn’t know I was participating in in a tiny Guatemalan cafe

Every time I wore the costume, I brought a kazoo with me

I made the heart myself out of cardboard, a spare pronoun pin, a notecard, stamp ink, and metallic gel pen ink. It is the part of the costume I worked the hardest on

The costume has 10 pockets, though the 4 on the vest are very small

At a convention, a tiny child and their parent came up to me and said they liked my costume

The person who helped me find this costume used to work for Rusty Quill

My favorite part of the costume is the pouch attached to the pants which is great for storage and decorated with gears and a bird skull:

I used the last of my black eyeliner when I got into costume for the last time

Someone thought I was Indiana Jones

I besmirched Jonny’s infamous name by dressing up as him and helping children make cookies and play musical chairs

The garment bag the rented elements came in has a label that says DLX WOODEN SOLDIER
