I've been working non stop for over two weeks on beading strawberries for my strawberry Miku cosplay. The current count is 25 when I need at least 50 so I'm slowly but surely getting there. The pearl seeds are left over beads from lady Amalthea since I try to recycle past materials when I can.

I'm an archeology student with a focus in the middle ages. I'm also an intern at a historical site/museum where I do some textile reconstruction work.

Being an archeology student and someone who works with textiles is so fun. We'll be talking about textiles found at a site in one of my classes and I just want to know everything about it. What material was it made with? How was it woven? What's the pattern? What was it meant for? I just want to go in and learn all the techniques that were used so I can incorporate it into my own craft.

Did a little impromptu Sunset Shimmer photoshoot in my backyard. Sunset shirt was my first project with my new embroidery machine. It honestly took a lot of trial and error but I'm pretty happy with how it came out.
