I think truly the best asexual rep out there is Perry the Platypus and that is because nothing about his character and none of his storylines have anything to do with the fact that he's asexual, he's just a secret agent who beats up an evil scientist on a daily basis and loves his family more than anything else and that's always treated as a totally normal and completely fulfilling life for him
I always think about how quickly Dan and Swampy said "NO" when asked if Perry would ever have a girlfriend in AYA, and how immediately Dan said, "Does asexual count?" when asked if Perry is queer, I think it's something they always knew about him (even if they didn't think of it as him being "asexual" before that word was more widely known) and I love that they never made a big deal out of it, he just exists as an asexual guy (well, platypus) and I love that so much
#some perryshmirtz shippers might get really mad at this but that's a risk i'm willing to take#phineas and ferb#perry the platypus#agent p#dan povenmire#swampy marsh#dwampyverse#asexual#ace#asexual spectrum

Daughterhood in Bungo Stray Dogs - Part 2 - Tsujimura
So in light of me finally reading Another Story and my recent obsession with Arcane and its focus on daughters and their relations with their parents (which I love) I wanted to do something like that for BSD. I have 4 main examples (Kyouka, Tsujimura, Aya and Elise) I'll talk about in depth and save some mentions of others for the end part.
Part 1 - Kyouka - linked here.
This part is about Tsujimura and her relationship with her mother. Next post will be Aya.
(WARNING - HUGE BSD GAIDEN SPOILERS AHEAD!! I highly recommend reading the novel/manga before reading this)
So Tsujimura's story of her ability is actually similar to Kyouka's - passed down to her from her mother, her Shadow Child was thought of as a curse to her but actually is revealed to have a protective nature in the end. Tsujimura describes her relationship with her mother as quite strained - it seemed like her mother was giving all her attention to her work and never to her daughter, so much so that Tsujimura once called the babysitter 'Mom' and her mother didn't so much as bat an eye, locking herself away to work more. Yet Tsujimura is still haunted by questions about her mother, especially her involvement in the Reigo Island Murd3rs. She is fuelled by a sort of anger and desire for understanding what her mother was like later in her life and why she got involved in the scheme on Reigo Island, desperate to question Kubo on the subject. Many a time has the subject provoked her anger, her outburst at Ayatsuji ("That selfishness of yours is what killed my mother!") being a clear example of an emotional tie to her mother that her d3ath only made stronger.
Her distain towards her mother, or the lack of answers about her d3ath, is also tied to her distain for her ability - her 'Shadow Child' as she calls it, which appears as a shadow with a scythe on seemingly random occasions and has k!lled before but not often. She sees it as a curse on her, which doesn't help nor necessarily hinder her but still haunts her anyway. We eventually learn that the ability was passed down by her mother to her, which makes her think her mother may have even cursed her in her last moments, adding to her anger and confusion around the circumstances of her mother's d3ath. But the truth is that her mother transferred her ability to her with the order to 'k!ll anyone Tsujimura tries to k!ll' and I find that very important to this story as Gaiden has a focus on blame in a sense. Ayatsuji's ability works by k!lling any confirmed murderer in which he has evidence to their crime, and so in this case Tsujimura's ability takes the punishment rather than Tsujimura herself. This makes more sense when we know that Ayatsuji knew her mother and she knew his ability, in essence she was protecting Tsujimura from being targeted by Ayatsuji's ability and the guilt of murder if she were to get into a situation where k!lling is necessary (which she does).
But there's even more information that is revealed in the end - Tsujimura's mother is still alive! She works as assistant director of the Division without her daughter's knowledge. Its revealed she enlisted Ayatsuji to fake her death since she had made so many enemies from her role as an agent. She is shown to trust Ayatsuji to take care of her daughter and he is one of the few people that knows of her continued existence. It's so interesting how she helps protect her daughter from the shadows despite being so busy and distant from her when she was living with her as a child. She also seems to have good deduction ability, as she deduces Ayatsuji's motivations of leaving to protect her daughter without him telling her the information. The way Tsujimura's path is similar to her mother's own - both becoming agents for the Special Division, especially when Tsujimura's may have been born out of the idea of avenging her mother.
Her mother, i assume, was doing what she thought was better - distancing herself from her daughter as for her not to become a target for her own career/actions - but her daughter, understandably, did not see it that way. There's ways of interpreting this that can see it as a good or bad decision, but realistically there was likely not much of an option for her mother in this job.
So for Tsujimura her role as a daughter brings mixed feelings. She's been haunted by the mystery of her mother's emotional distance, her d3ath and her ability to the point that her memories are not a net positive. Daughterhood for her has been associated most with confusion and pain, as well as a haunting feeling of anger. However when we see more of her mother's point of view, it again becomes more about protection - but still at a distance. Her mother was never close to her - in life or d3ath. And this distance is what defines Tsujimura's idea of daughterhood.
[I loved writing this so much because I found Tsujimura's characterisation so compelling and her relationship with her mother is so interesting to read and analyse. I really loved the BSD Gaiden novel it's easily top 3 bsd novels (alongside BEAST and Stormbringer imo). Hope you're enjoying this series, hopefully Aya's part will be out soon I have a lot to write about with her (since I have decided to include her dad AND her dynamics with Bram and Kunikida to analyse) so I've got work to do!]

DAZAI THEORY!!!!!
So, seeing that my theories have been getting some attention, here's another one!!
So, Bungo Stray dogs season 5 started and ended all in the month of September of 2023. After that, they said aren't getting any more content UNTIL 2026. That was enough time for me to think of a bunch of theories like:
Will Sigma join the Armed Detective Agency now that the Decay Of Angels are defeated?
Will Poe also join due to the Guild disbanding and him constantly helping out Ranpo?
If Aya grew up, would she join the Armed Detective Agency?
What will Bram, Nikolai and the rest of the Hunting Dogs do now since Fukichi and Fyodor are dead?
Is Tachihara alive, a vampire or dead?
But the one I want to talk about right now is our loveable and heavily simped over suicidal maniac,
Osamu Dazai.
I know this post will be a bit long but hear me out!!
Is Dazai going to re-join the Port Mafia? Think about it!!
In Season 2, episodes 1 thru 4 shows Dazai life in the Port when he was 18. When Odasaku is speaking to Mori about going after Mimic's leader, Mori says, "in four years, Dazai would have surpressed me and take the position of heaf of the Port Mafia." And if you do the very simple math: 18 + 4 = 22. Dazai right now currently is 22. But wait!! There is more.
Mori has asked Dazai not once! But twice to come back to the Mafia and even offered him back his position! We have also seen how many times in the ADA they leave out Dazai, even a clip on the Manga where it shows everyone and they say that everyone is here despite Dazai not being there. AND! It could be that Sigma could be his replacement. Think about it! Yosano is the healer, Kenji and Atsushi are the brute force, Tanazaki is the diversion, Kunikida will be the future President and Ranpo is the brains! And what is Dazai's role in all this? The pretty face?!
Now before some of you come after me saying "What about Dazai's promise to Odasaku about being good?!" Chill out, I've got my explanation for that. Dazai could rejoin the Port Mafia and become the boss but he could still be a good guy, just like Odasaku with the whole "I'm an agent in the Port Mafia but I don't kill" sort of thing.
And a few other things: Season 5 acted in a way as to how the Detective Agency would function without Dazai.
Dazai crimes somehow got leaked even though Ango told Mushitaro that he had deleted them all so Dazai could be free from his past life.
Mori is sitting down in his seat in season 1 but not in season 3.
Dazai also takes off the pendant he wears in the season 4 outro.
Well, that's all I have today! Tell me what other theories from BSD or from any other fandoms!
- sincerely me (yes, Dear Even Hansen, I'm a theater kid.)

REN KURODA
Basic Information
Full Name: Ren Kuroda (黒田 蓮)
Nicknames: The Phantom Scholar, The Silent Storm
Age: 18
Birthday: December 13
Height: 5’11” (180 cm)
Hair Color: Jet black, always slightly tousled
Eye Color: Piercing silver-gray, often unreadable
Affiliation: Aetheris Academy
Role: Elite Student, Master Strategist, Keeper of Secrets
Family:
Daichi Kuroda (Father): A high-ranking government official
Aya Kuroda (Mother): A former intelligence operative
Background & History
Born in the Shadows
Ren Kuroda was never meant to be an ordinary student. His life had always been a game of secrets, strategy, and survival.
His father, a prominent government figure, ensured that Ren was raised with power and discipline. His mother, a former intelligence agent, taught him that knowledge was the most lethal weapon.
By age 5, he could read people as easily as books.
By age 7, he was trained in strategy games and psychological warfare.
By age 10, he learned that trust was a liability.
His upbringing was never about warmth—it was about winning.
While other children played, Ren studied. While they made friends, he observed. He quickly learned that in a world driven by ambition and deception, silence was his greatest shield.
Aetheris Academy: A Mastermind Among Peers
By the time Ren entered Aetheris Academy, he was already a ghost in the system. He rarely spoke unless necessary.
He never lost his composure.
He never let anyone get too close.
His reputation grew quickly. A genius. A phantom. A student council enigma.People feared him not because he was loud or aggressive, but because he always seemed to know everything.
Who was secretly failing? He knew.
Who was planning a betrayal? He knew.
Who held the most dangerous secrets? He knew.
His intelligence made him untouchable.
No one could manipulate him...
No one could predict his moves....
No one could control him....
...Until (Y/n)...
The Exception to His Rules
At first, Ren viewed (Y/n) as another puzzle. An outsider. A wildcard. Someone who wasn’t bred for the academy’s ruthless games. She should’ve been an easy target. But she wasn’t.
Unlike the others, (Y/n) wasn’t calculating, wasn’t manipulative, wasn’t afraid. She didn’t try to use him, fear him, or break him. Instead, she did something far more dangerous...She saw him.
She didn’t react to his cold demeanor.
She didn’t hesitate to call him out.
She wasn’t intimidated by the reputation that kept others at bay.
And against all logic, Ren found himself intrigued. He told himself it was just curiosity. That she was just another anomaly to study.
That he wasn’t drawn to her warmth, her sincerity, her defiance. But the truth was far more dangerous.
Ren, the untouchable strategist, was losing control.
The Silent Storm Awakens
Ren has spent his entire life guarding himself from attachments. He knows better than anyone that in their world, caring is a weakness. But (Y/n) is his exception.
When she is threatened, Ren is the first to act. When people scheme against her, Ren dismantles them before they even realize. When danger approaches, Ren ensures it never reaches her.
Most people fear him for what he knows. But when it comes to (Y/n), they should fear him for what he’s willing to do.
Because Ren Kuroda never gambles unless he knows he will win.
And when it comes to protecting her, he will never lose.
Relationships
(Y/n) (The Wildcard)
The only person he allows close to him.
He constantly watches over her, whether she realizes it or not. While others believe he is indifferent, those who truly pay attention notice how his gaze always follows her. He trusts her judgment—a rarity for him.
Souta Takahashi(The Rival and Ally)
A clash of opposites—Souta is instinct, Ren is calculation.
Despite their differences, they respect each other’s abilities.
Often in silent competition over (Y/n), even if neither says it outright.
Miyu Akiyama (The Observer)
Miyu is one of the few people who understands Ren’s way of thinking.
She sees through his silence but doesn’t push him to be more expressive.
While not close, they have a mutual respect for each other’s intelligence.
Trivia
Ren never plays games he knows he could lose. He sees losing as a waste of time.
He has an impeccable memory, capable of recalling even the smallest details from years ago.
Ren dislikes sweets, but he will take one if (Y/n) offers—just to see her reaction.
He is fluent in multiple languages due to his upbringing.
Ren doesn’t sleep much, often spending his nights analyzing potential threats.
Despite his cold demeanor, he gets irrationally angry if (Y/n) is injured.
No one knows how Ren always seems to be in the right place at the right time.
He is the only one who notices when (Y/n) is upset, even when she tries to hide it.
If (Y/n) is in trouble, Ren reacts before he even thinks.

I was going to look up what it's called when you're into animal ears, but I don't want to do that to the FBI agent assigned to my search results. Maybe taking her to Universal Japan every year will be enough.
Ch 79

Aya is taking this golden retriever boyfriend trend to heart. Only Koga has zero retriever energy so she is sticking with old lady dogs.

"It doesn't hurt that much."
Let the record show Koga was the one who got herself in this situation. She is going to out herself as cool at school. And then what? Have school friends? Friends that think you are cool? Outrageous.

How did they not notice all those holes before? I know Koga tries being invisible and she wears her hair down at school -
But as someone who has to look down ~~ at her own printed band tshirt ~~ to see what the store clerk is complimenting like I'm three years old....perhaps I shouldn't throw stones. “So you like The Sounds?” *gasp* “Yeah, um…” *follows eye line down to shirt*

Koga, your glasses are off! They're going to realize you're Superman!

It has to be a shock getting positive attention for things you've been meticulously hiding while at school. She's this close to getting head pats from everyone. Woof.

Mao is really getting into this. I'm going to need to see her dressed up to see some eventual gig once the cat is fully out of the bag (continuing with the animal theme). She might be a Narita match in more ways than one when it comes to her future Oshi. And she was the first friend to try out their music too.

This is all easing them into "meeting" the cd shop "bf" isn't it?

Aw, Aya is a bit jealous. Koga being cool and appreciated by more people is what she wants for her, she literally has been wanting to see her happy face at school, but it is a big difference from having a special Oshi to yourself.

What do you mean by "this", Koga-chan? *steeple fingers* Other people may come to think she's cool, but they got something that's just for the two of them. And that sounds a bit like -
- the famous, loyal, change-for-nobody, akita dog name Hachiko. March 8th is Hachiko day. One day off of Koga's birthday. Now that is out of Aya's system maybe don't revisit the role-play until y'all have some bigger relationship talks.
Thematically Koga needs to step onto the big stage (both actual and in life) by the end of the series imo. So keep your secrets from your friends now you two (especially the dog stuff, Aya), but eventually Koga's going to debut and it will be very obvious to everyone who Aya has been into this whole time.

BRACKET REVEAL
Alright. At long last, I present to you the bracket...or should I say...*BRACKETS* for the Virtual Character Tournament!
Given the scale, the first round is going to be one bracket per week, 4 a day, with each lasting 24 hours. I know that this is still tight, but given how many contestants there are, along with the necessary inclusions of images and propaganda (oh and I guess also my job), it's what I can do to keep this semi-manageable. There's also no redemption round this time. It's gonna be a single elimination tournament. Be kind to your peers. This is not but a drop in the infinite ocean of the internet.
...oh yeah the brackets themselves. We'll be going in order over the course of 4 weeks. I'll make proper announcements for them as they commence. Given how many there are and what I want to get done beforehand, Bracket 1 will likely begin some time this week. But for the matchups...

heartbreak & midnight for aya? 👀 also generally curious if you've given any thought to her relationship with orin
heartbreak: Have they ever had a relationship that ended badly? Experienced some other kind of heartbreak? What happened?
No great heartbreaks for Aya, just a long series of very small ones; a new one every day. I think there must've been a time when she felt distress at how different her feelings and experiences were from those of her peers, but she acclimated quickly to her difficulties relating to others, and ultimately came to the conclusion that it's best to keep others at arm's length. All her life, her focus has been on trying to survive the urge. Her relationships never made it very far.
Still, Aya is a lover of art, music, poetry… so there's an inherent longing in her. Likely she gravitates to other artists, drawn in by what they create: Pretty feelings packaged in easily consumed morsels. Bite-sized poems and watercolors. Two-dimensional love. The invitation to feel something great without accompanying risk.
Orin is interesting. When Aya was first brought into the cult, I imagine she must have felt a kinship with Orin, relieved to meet someone like-minded. Imagine being told one day - this is all correct! your feelings are true! everything is as it should be! better, even! special! chosen!
What a relief!
Along with this kinship I picture a slowly developing rivalry between them. But they both must have relished it at times. Relished and reviled it as well.
It comes down to the question of - how are we conceptualizing the dark urge, for purposes of this character? What's the nature of the compulsion? Does it try to camouflage among society in order to hunt, or does it stand out, and therefore need to be repressed/hidden/masked? Is it part of her, or an uninvited guest? How much will be left over of her once it's excised? Is it like a parasite? Is it like a cancer? Is it a lack of something, or an addition of something? The urge is described on the wiki as driving all Bhaalspawn to, eventually, murder every other Bhaalspawn, leaving one standing who would then kill themself and resurrect as Bhaal. So the urge is inherently self-destructive, while being the epitome of individualism. If I can be the strongest and stomp out everyone else, I will become a god!
Furthermore it is a divine heritage and a divine power that drives the urge--this albeit the fact that divinity in Faerun seems to have a lot more to do with the whims of inhuman gods than any humanistic effort or concept. The humanistic and the divine are forces that are necessarily opposed in this setting. Narratively speaking, interesting things happen where they meet.
Is Bhaal then an opportunistic agent plying helpless people towards evil? Maybe not. Discord, murder, tyranny, all already exist in the heart of men. And in the case of Aya, and other Bhaalspawn/Durge characters, Bhaal has other ways of plying. He's their Father, after all. What do you do when your heritage is one of torment?
You sit down, be good, and suffer.
midnight: What keeps your OC up at night? Do they have nightmares? Fears? Anxieties? What do they do in the small hours of the morning when they should be sleeping?
She's had so many vile and gory dreams, they really don't phase her anymore lol. But she often stays up late, or gets up early, to write or practice her lute. Such a sweet little songbird.
#oc: aya#thank youuu sorry to ramble lol#i'm really mulling over the themes bc i don't often write about such things.. not committing to anything too strongly atm.. it's interestin

Phineas and Ferb as Sci Fi
If you thought I'd leave it at acknowledging the shows genre you were wrong.
Okay, so generally speaking, genre's are wide categories that overlap and are just... foundations for understanding works. They aren't boxes, and works can fit into many genre's. So A LOT of things are sci-fi while not necessarily being sci-fi.
So... Sci-Fi has it's own set of archetypes, and I think generally the thing that differentiates SCI-FI from sci-fi (that is being part of larger sci-fi discourse, and rather than just having a sci-fi elements, see Spy thrillers, which may have sci-fi elements, but isn't really the subject of this discussion) is the use of themes. Or more specifically Sci-Fi is often commentary on the world's current state of affairs and/or currently developing technologies and extrapolating it to its (sometimes logical sometimes exaggerated) conclusion.
Now, generally speaking, this isn't Phineas and Ferb or Milo, their focus is on comedy, and the ridiculous situations that arise. Their main conflicts aren't necessarily sci-fi. After all the show translates itself into other settings rather easily. (Historical, fantasy, adventure). The main conflict is an exaggerated sibling conflict, and a secret agent plot. Themes of family and battling a villain taking over the world aren't inherently sci-fi.
But I do think Phineas and Ferb makes use of a particular sci-fi theme. As in the common theme of the potential for future technologies to have potential to have both positive and negative effects on the world.
Phineas and Ferb represent positive change in the world. The benefits that come from technological developments. This is something Candace constantly fights against, Candace has many reasons for her wanting to bust her brothers, but one of them is the dangers that the technologies her brothers develop could (and often do) pose. And when things happen, she is often its victim. (Even if sometime she's also to blame herself).
Think Phineas and Ferb get busted. When they built the "Flying Car of the Future Today". Literally invoking the Sci-Fi concept of futuristic technologies that change how we live. They're careless with this technology and it crushes their house.
Granted, this is Candace's dream inside Perry's dream, but Candace and Perry are parallels here, where they are both agents attempting to stop the development of futuristic technologies. Perry, despite his use of "high tech" ultimately, for the most part, utilizes technologies that currently exist, as well as physical prowess. Same with Candace. But, ultimately, unlike Candace who is (unsuccessfully) stifling her brothers, who do create for the sake of helping people, Perry is fighting against someone who seeks to abuse developing technologies for the sake of hurting others.
Doofensmirtz, (in PnF) represents the negative. He creates technologies to take over the tri-state area. Enslave humans, cause pain and suffering them, not only to benefit himself, but simply because he wants others to hurt.
We get a variety of future's that are depended on Doof's path in life. The 2D, quantum boogaloo, AYA, and the time-travel future in MML, all highlight a potential future. In Quantum Boogaloo, the fear of progress (also more pertinently the stifling of children's freedoms but that's another discussion), leaves the tri-state area vulnerable to Doofensmirtz's abuse and leaves the community suffering under his forced changes.
In MML, Doof goes good. He actually has a positive influence on the future. He invents time travel, and is famous because of it. Doof, turns himself around and uses technologies, the same technologies, often times that he used for evil. (See him using the Chicken-Replacinator in CATU for good). These technologies are tools, able to be used for good and evil depending on the user.
Granted, bringing time travel to the masses may have brought more harm than good, as it allowed the Pistachions a chance to take over, but it also allowed Dakota to save Cavendish (or maybe it's why Cavendish died so often, either way). And Doof throughout MML uses his creations recklessly. They are intended for good, despite functionally being no different from those intended for evil, but despite intentions still cause harm when Doof isn't careful with them. It is the intersection of the positive and negative influence Doof and PnF had in PnF, harm coming from good intentions. Even good intentions aren't enough to keep developing technologies safe from misuse.
While I highly doubt any of this was a conscious decision, it's only natural when you are developing something to reiterate the themes and motifs of the wider cultural . The use of sci-fi elements immediately invokes the dangers and benefits of the progression of technology and society, and so it's natural that Phineas and Ferb would in it's own way cover it too.
#pnf#phineas and ferb#dwampyverse#I almost feel like I need to make a disclaimer#I'm just some person on the internet#Also I feel it's important to note that sci-fi and fantasy are two genre's that blend together easily#So while there are definitely fantasy elements here#it's more sci-fi to me#are superheros and aliens sci-fi#once again I feel like i am giving the impression that I think doof is a horrible person and I do not like his character#heinz doofenshmirtz#candace flynn#phineas flynn#ferb fletcher#perry the platypus

Episode 24: Zeremonio - Likenesses Passing
This episode, unlike most of the others, takes up some of its very limited runtime to give us some Last Time On Weiss Kreuz scenes. I'd like to point out that Weiss have a beanbag couch in their basement instead of real furniture, and that is absolutely the most true-to-life representation of a bunch of 20 year old men decorating their own space.
We open the episode with Weiss sending Momoe, the old lady who took care of the flowershop, into the countryside to be safe. As if she wasn't a Kritiker agent, come on. (To be fair, the show never says this explicitly, but there is literally no other explanation for her.) Weiss then thinks that they need to worry about themselves, since Schwarz is going to try to murder them to death at some point and will probably find out about the flowershop.
Guys, it's far too late for that and I do not know why you haven't been worried about that THIS WHOLE TIME. Yohji points out that if Schwarz really wants to find them, it doesn't matter where they hide. Yohji is the only sensible person here.
On the other side of - presumably - Tokyo Bay, Esstset has hoarded some art in a museum and they admire it as they go farther underground. There are glowing rocks underground, along with a fountain and some stone statues holding up the ceiling. Esstset gloats about meeting someone again as they can finally conduct their ritual.
In another room (building? city? IDK), girl!Aya's body is being Prepared with glittery IV fluid while Schwarz watches. And Sakura. Crawford says they're adjusting her DNA. I have Questions. Schuldig says they're going to sacrifice her to raise a demon, or at least that's what Esstset thinks is going to happen, but that Esstset is full of shit. And there's Nagi, somehow still alive despite getting a dramatic death scene a couple episodes back. He is also contemptuous of the demon thing.
Crawford and Schuldig explain the aging process incorrectly, attributing it to DNA misfires and not once mentioning telomeres, before saying that girl!Aya hasn't aged a day in the two years she's been comatose. She is therefore the fountain of youth, if they can figure out how to use her. Schuldig warns Sakura off of trying to tell Aya where his sister is, while Crawford tells him not to cause too much damage.
Kritiker has infiltrated this lab with a couple of agents in the ductwork and Birman outside in another bubblegum pink car. Why does every woman in this show drive a bubblegum pink car. More importantly, she points out that the two agents in the ducts are among the last few surviving members of Kritiker (and it was ten or so that have been murdered already, making this a VERY small organization) and would they please try not to die. Of course, Farfarello kills them both in the next 30 seconds. They've already told Birman where the lab is, which is great, but what's less great is that it takes her so long to start the car and get moving that Farfarello has time to leap on top of it for a dramatic sequence of Birman forcing him off her car.
Inside the lab, Schuldig has told Aya to stay put and that he's not going to forgive her for pointing a gun at him. Sakura is In Crisis, identifying with girl!Aya and crying. She then proceeds to climb out the window, but instead of escaping she goes down to girl!Aya's hospital bed. Weiss is at the flowershop, bitching about not having any business (the absolute least of your concerns, boys), and Birman shows up to tell them where girl!Aya is.
Weiss shows up at the lab, which has been rapidly emptied out. They search for Clues. They find girl!Aya stashed in a locker. Sakura, you lunatic. Weiss immediately gives up on looking for clues and just take girl!Aya back to their apartment. Aya, buddy, without IV fluids and an NG tube, she is going to die of dehydration in a matter of days.
In the museum, Esstset and Schwarz are having A Moment. Esstset thanks Schwarz for their preparatory work for the ritual and Schuldig accepts their thanks in the most creepy way possible. They all get a bit of a creepy moment. Esstset says they trust their Special Component is also being prepared, and Crawford says that they are taking Extra Care because of how Special she is.
Crawford is perfectly well aware that they have Sakura and not girl!Aya, and also that Sakura will not work for the ritual. Crawford swears the ritual will go off as planned. Esstset points out that the next time the stars will align will be in 800 years and Schwarz better not fuck it up.
Schwarz attempts to smack girl!Aya's location out of Sakura before they remember that Schuldig is literally psychic. (How did they not notice WHEN IT HAPPENED istg.) Schuldig finds the answer extremely easily, again prompting me to ask how the fuck they didn't notice the substitution when it happened.
In the flowershop basement, Omi and Birman are Researchng while Ken and Yohji are bickering. Literally all of Kritiker is unreachable. Aya defuses the tension by appearing just as Nagi rings the doorbell. Crawford wants to exchange the girls, Nagi says, and he gives them a time and place to make the trade.
Esstset is on some bullshit about Tibet being a magical place. And some secret society with green gloves. They found a Magic Text in Tibet, idk. This is the show's half-assed attempt to explain the actual demon summoning.
At the stated location, Aya meets Crawford. Sakura is there, but Aya has of course not brought his sister. Crawford tells Aya that Schuldig is going to the flowershop to fuck shit up then sets a crowd of goons on Aya. Whether they're in their right minds or not is unclear.
Weiss, having done something right, has set Ken and Yohji to guard the bed girl!Aya isn't actually in. Schuldig falls for the bait anyway. He is, however, not distressed to see girl!Aya not there. This is largely because Farfarello has found the basement, which is where Omi is hiding with girl!Aya and Birman.
Schuldig very handily overpowers both Ken and Yohji, leaving them alive so they can watch the chaos. Aya returns to the flowershop, having singlehandedly murdered all of the goons, to find Omi and Birman unconscious on the floor and his sister missing.
In the museum, Esstset has everything they need for The Ritual.
The plot is moving so fast in this episode that we have very little meat to chew on in the realm of character development. The only quibble I have here is that Schwarz keeps leaving Weiss alive for shits and giggles. One would think they would know better. Weiss is absolutely outmatched, every time, but they are also persistent and Schwarz only has to fuck up once.

The Transformative Power of Tragedy: A Memoir's Impact on Life's Trajectory
There is no doubt that life is unpredictable, and sometimes, it plunges us into the depths of darkness. These empty moments can often serve as a catalyst for profound transformation. Tragedy is a universal human experience that can reshape our perspectives, redefine our priorities, and move us toward a trajectory we might never have imagined.
This article will help you discover how tragedies can discover an innate resilience, an inner strength that may have otherwise remained dormant. Memoirs that recount such struggles become beacons of hope, guiding others through their own darkest moments.
The Healing Pages: How Memoirs Become Mirrors of Resilience
Memoirs, in their raw authenticity, become mirrors reflecting the resilience of the human spirit. These pages recount not just the pain but also the journey toward healing. Readers find solace in realizing that they are not alone in their struggles.
The shared experiences within these narratives create a sense of connection, transforming isolation into a communal understanding of the human condition. Through the healing power of storytelling, individuals can see their own reflections in the pages of memoirs.
They can witness how others have faced adversity, overcome obstacles, and emerged stronger. Memoirs become a source of inspiration, showing how scars can heal and how wounds can transform into honor.
Memoirs as Tools for Empowerment:
Reading and writing memoirs are transformative acts of empowerment. Memoirs can provide a platform to reclaim one's story, which allows one to explore and express emotions, fears, and struggles. This process fosters self-discovery and resilience.
Memoirs serve as tools for personal growth, encouraging readers to confront their own challenges with newfound strength and resilience.
Memoirs as Agents of Positive Change:
Beyond personal empowerment, memoirs have the potential to catalyze positive change on a broader scale. Personal stories become a powerful force for breaking down societal stigmas surrounding tragedy. They create empathy, bridge gaps, and inspire collective action.
Memoirs also challenge societal norms and contribute to a cultural shift. They encourage open conversations about mental health, adversity, and the importance of community support. In this way, memoirs become agents of positive change, influencing not only individual lives but also the collective consciousness.
Navigating darkness, healing through shared narratives, empowering individuals, and catalyzing positive change—these are the chapters within the evolving story of how memoirs impact life's trajectory. As we turn the pages of these compelling narratives, we can find inspiration to rewrite our own stories with newfound strength and purpose.
If you are looking for a compelling narrative, 'Prisondoc Tales,' Dr. Aya Biran Nirko is for you. It is a groundbreaking book that weaves together the elements of irony, sarcasm, and humor while maintaining an awareness that each tale reveals the reality of genuine inmates and correctional institutes.
This compelling memoir, written during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, provides a unique perspective on life within the prison walls, offering insights into the intriguing questions that often surround such an environment.
This memoir will take the readers into the night of December 31st through the eyes of Dr. Aya Biran Nirko, exploring the challenges and peculiarities of her daily routine as she navigates the complexities of family, emergency, and addiction medicine within the prison setting. This narrative raises thought-provoking questions, such as how she managed to thrive in an unfamiliar environment and interact with a diverse population that included a significant number of North African Muslim inmates.

Trick or treat! 👻🎃
(I think this is for the writer version, so if it's not let me know!)
So, for my Jecht/Maleficent fic, I needed Tidus to have a step mom. While I always knew she EXSITED and was someone (in Universe A) that Jecht had married after making it aware he was hung up on an ex, I hadn't gone much farther than that. Then for the year of the OTP, I needed a name, so I picked Manamea after searching polynesian names on baby name websites. And... I really like Manamea now. Manamea and Jecht are sticking by each other even after she's now aware of how Jecht was basically cursed and Jecht wants to break it because she deserved better. She picked this life where Jecht is closest to his FFX Counterpart because it was better than she had then (how? I don't know yet.) and I think once the curse is broken (possibly to their own actions) they may stick together in an asexual marriage of care and convenience. If you want more Aspec Sora stuff... So, uh, I'm thinking Agent 47 may also find himself in Quadratum and Sora is the first person to reach out as he hears about 47's lack of personal life, realizes he's aspec, and rushes in to talk saying they have something in common. (the only person to resepond is Aya trying to drag him out, but it is a crack. Sora continues to reach out and 47 DOES like kids so while 47 is never adopted, he does have a soft spot for Sora)
