The adaptations of/canonical stories of games with multiple playable protagonists should focus on both. I adore Yokai Watch but the anime did Katie so fucking dirty and, by proxy, her and Nate's friendship. In the games, they feel like genuine friends who run in the same circle. But not in the anime, and I'm upset because they totally could've had them BOTH be the protagonists who are given watches and made to interact with the world and each other in a unique way to the games but instead Katie's just this girl Nate has a crush on with a tiring joke about him being average. They don't even feel like friends in the show, it feels like they have mutual friends in Bear and Eddie and that's how they run in the same circles. Boo.

“No,” Smokescreen said. “He fixed it himself. It looked ugly, though. Maybe someone should tell Ratchet.”

“Maybe, but it won’t stop him from being stubborn,” Bulkhead sighed. “He might refuse to get it checked out.” He paused, still staring at his old friend. “I know I’ve asked this before, but does he seem… weird to any of you?”

“A little, but he could be working through something,” Arcee said, settling a hand on her hip. It wouldn’t come as a surprise after everything they’d been through, not to mention they had no idea what had been done to him on Darkmount. Well, they knew he’d been tortured, but not the extent of it. And if Shockwave was back… “We’ll keep an eye on him, Bulkhead.”

“Keep an eye on who?” Ratchet asked, appearing next to them with a crate in his hands. He, Optimus, Ultra Magnus, and Bumblebee had been busy bringing equipment from the Harbinger to Hangar E.

“Wheeljack,” Bulkhead explained, jerking a thumb at him. “He’s been working obsessively on the commander’s ship for a while now.” The medic paused, mouth pressing into a fine line.

“While injured,” Smokescreen pointed out. “He had a nasty back injury earlier.”

“Did he now?” Ratchet said, eyeing the Wrecker as another loud, metallic bang and an equally loud curse rang out. “…I suppose I had better go talk to him.” He sounded oddly reluctant, but put the crate down by his new workstation and headed over towards the ship anyway.

“…That was weird, right?” Smokescreen asked.

“Definitely,” Bulkhead agreed. “Come to think of it, they’ve been acting kinda weird around each other since Magnus brought us to the Harbinger.” He hadn’t missed how nervous Ratchet seemed after Wheeljack’s outburst, but the idea of his buddy purposefully hurting anyone on the team just didn’t sit right with him.

I used to have this tradition where id find a four leaf clover every earth day ans i was outside today and i didnt know it was earth day and i felt a strong urge to look for four leaf clovers and i actually did for a little while which is fun to me.

i am so stressed about a hard conversation i have to have today but i had a little faith in my fellows restored when i went out to unflood my street and almost everyone driving through actually did slow down and avoid splashing me when i waved at them. some of them even turned so they didn't go through the intersection at all. getting splashed is the worst part of unflooding the street and it always seems like people do it because they just don't give a shit. but maybe they do it because they don't see the water? idk. i am handing out benefits of the doubt like candy. thank u everyone for i remain unsplashed.

I can't do much productively during the heat wave/health issue flare up/etc. like work on my games or anything where I have to sit at the computer/type for long periods of time, BUT.. I did passively sculpt a few tiny foods lol. I wanted to do one of my bigger usual sculptures, but those take so much more time and concentration, I thought something small just to keep my hands busy would be better.. close up photos look kind of weird and blurry from my camera settings or something, but overall they came out okay, especially in person.. Nearly the only reason I ever wanted to buy dolls as a kid was to get my hands on the miniature foods and plates and stuff that came with them, I've always just been obsessed with small versions of things like that, so.. why not make some! lol
