i love the lawyer so much guys you dont understand. you first meet him and you think hes just another one off straight man character for the gang to bounce off of, but then as the episode progresses you realize hes just as batshit insane as the rest of them hes just more chill about it. he keeps a gun loaded in his desk drawer just in case of something like charlie kelly showing up unannounced demanding a duel (which he immediately agrees to and very excitedly yaps about how hes gonna put a bullet through charlies teeth and out the back of his neck)

hes petty as hell, has a restraining order against the gang but immediately tracks down maureen once he hears dennis is getting a divorce just so he can fuck him over in the legal process and then afterwards happily smiles and puts his hands over jacks hands for the photo (this ALways kills me)

and the proof that hes just as insane as the gang is that this motherfuckers life is never ruined whatsoever by them. every other reoccurring character forced to interact with the gang slowly deteriorates over time (cricket, the waiter, maureen, macs dad) but not the lawyer. the worst that happens is his eye getting attacked by guillermo del toros bird.

It’s sort of theorized that the Waitress’s name is Vanessa, but I like not knowing because it’s funny. It is fun to speculate though… What do you think the Waiter’s name is? What about the Lawyer?

We all know MacDennis is the most popular Always Sunny ship, and we all know CharMac, CharDee, DeeTress, CharDen, all the big ones, all the hits. But what about Sunny ships that people almost never talk about? Those ships you hear about in a joke post and think “ha, I can see it”

Is Charlie and The Lawyer discussing bird law actually foreplay? Could Liam wanting to fuck Dennis be more than just a running gag? Are Artemis and The Waitress getting freaky in a Wendy’s dumpster when Frank is busy? Were Dee and Ingrid more than just best friends in high school? If you’ve ever asked yourself anything like that, this is the ship tournament for you!

We have a few ideas in mind for entries already, but we would love to get some more ship suggestions and propaganda before we kick things off!

What Ships Will Be Accepted?

Any ship that does not have a significant following will be considered! A ship that has a very small handful of posts about it or fics written is fine, but anything more than that is too mainstream. We don’t want popular pairings dominating the tournament!

Characters who have never interacted/barely interacted are fine, as long as you can make a case for them! We don’t want ships that zero people will vote for because that’s no fun, but we also want to encourage creative thinking!

Which ships make it into the bracket and how the brackets are set up are fully at the digression of this blog. If your suggestion doesn’t make it in, please don’t take it personally!
