My most recent art project. Just now finished.

The design is inspired by the Pennsylvania Dutch Hex signs on barns with the little Scandinavian hearts added into the design. I picked up the unfinished table at a garage sale. The chair is one I've had for years, painted to match.

While I appreciate the pun, the answer is not very because the thing that makes paper take ink so well is also the thing that makes it not very structurally stable .

Absolutely hate hate hate the way fandom works these days.

People have always overstepped, but the internet/social media make it so damn easy.

Cause I just watched the most bitchin’ press tour I’ve ever seen for a show with actual diversity of just about every variety with two phenomenal actors in the lead roles who worked their asses off for the past six months+ have all of the magic stripped away because people no longer know how to separate the art from the artists, the show from the promo, the fiction vs. the reality.

Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton served us for six months. They did their jobs and then some. They hand-crafted the pitch and delivered it on a silver platter, and you’re gonna turn your nose up at it now?! This was the best fan service I *ever* remember seeing!

They deserve better than this.

I really love hope is a thing with feathers and I also really LOVE the hope as a sewer rat poem too but I wish it was not explicity written as "well actually" against Dickinson asgvsjnk. The imagery is SO GOOD but this whole vibe of "my metaphor is better than your metaphor" kinda sours it for me

i don't often feel sympathy for dain aetos but i somehow found myself writing a drabble about him watching xaden interact with brennan (someone i think that dain once saw as an older brother) while also listening to half-return by adrianne lenker and the one-two punch of those things was enough to bring tears to my eyes
