i know gamingmas would be an insane task for them right now but also this is kinda why i didn't want them to go on tour again... and even though i was extremely lucky to be able to see them live and i quite literally changed my life just to be able to go, it makes me more sad for the thousands of people who can't make it to a show for one reason or another and now they haven't been getting regular content either. there's no good solution to this that wouldn't involve burnout but i do hope they at least do gamingmas week or something to lessen the blow.. and also, one of the reasons they've said they like doing gamingmas is because it gives us all something to look forward to during the time of year that can be really difficult for many reasons. i honestly would've chosen gamingmas over the tour but i know that's kind of a crazy opinion

#this is just me rambling #because i realized this is my first sober holidays and everyone around me is an alcoholic 👍🏻#last year was soo nice because i could sneak away and watch a dan and phil video for 20 good minutes #this year is going to be even harder and it just would've been nice to have that #but obviously they're real people and i would much prefer they rest and don't burn out #also they're insane so we might still be getting gamingmas in some form. who knows #buuuut idk #if they don't do gamingmas can we do our own.. like one of those community rewatch streams #i need something 😭

you know what i would love to see one day? an animated adaptation of alex rider. it's far fetched but imagine how awesome it would be. biblically accurate character designs. fully leaning into the silliness of it all. more freedom to adapt the books. ugh it would be so good.
