Jason Todd has never had occasion to meet Hal Jordan - being dead and then being a gang leader would do that. The Space Cadets never came to Gotham and Red Hood never left it.

Jason's eventually return to vigilantism and tentative re-initiation of regular contact with his fam- with the rest of the bats changed that.

After a few months of kind-of-joint patrols and a few actually joint patrols Dick was whining about introducing him to the JL at large. It was a waste of time given he never left Gotham and wouldn't, by the way. What followed was:

"Well what if aliens attack Gotham? They should be able to recognize you at least!"

"Literally why would aliens attack Gotham specifically? Or first?"

"Why wouldn't they?"

"...shit. Fine."

And that's how Jason found himself masked up and dragged into a meet-and-greet with the Justice League. It was just as annoying as he'd expected.

Literally all of the bats-and-birds tagged along.

Superman, of course, just had to recognize him as an ex-gang leader which lead to a long-winded speech by Batman about head injuries and bygones that left half of the heroes giving him side-eye anyway.

Tim was in the middle of introducing his baby-league allies when Green Lantern finally strolled in.

"The party has arrived! So, Bats, where's the not-new newbie?"

Jason's eye caught on his ring as his hand lowered; ice shot down his spine and his stomach lurched.

The Pit railed harder than he'd ever felt, but for once there was no anger.

There was terror.

Tears hidden by the hood he'd insisted on wearing slid down his cheeks. The ball that had formed in his throat was the only reason he hadn't lost his lunch.

He took a step back, ducking just behind Dick and barely registering he and Tim's confused looks.

Everything but Green Lantern, his Ring -

- and the door out had been reduced to blurs in his vision.

Then Green Lantern Turned To Look At Him.

Jason couldn't breathe, but he choked out a gasp when he took a step closer.

He couldn't tell what Dick was saying, barely registered the hand on his shoulder that just kept him from falling on his ass when he stumbled back in response to the approaching threat.

Then Green Lantern backed away and Dick dragged him through out the door and away, Bruce and Tim and Duke and Damian and Cass and Steph following close behind.

They end up in the medbay, Dick coaxing him to sit on a bed.

He doesn't know why they're here, but he sees Bruce lock the door behind them - he still barely feels safe.

He rips off his mask anyway and pulls his knees up to his chest to sob into, fear and disgust and dread still swimming in his veins.

And helplessness. He hadn't felt that helpless since his death.

He catches the scanner running over him from the light that hits the corner of his eye not covered by knees or arms. Then a heavy blanket falls around his shoulders.

He falls asleep sobbing, with a sibling pressed against either shoulder and his back, a hand in his hair, and a guard by the door.

He wakes up in a bedroom of Wayne Manor, surrounded by family, feeling like he'd been blown up again, and with one thought ringing through his head.

Green Lantern eviscerated someone to get that ring.

A sister's love

The justice league hurriedly responds to a call for backup at a little in the middle of nowhere place by the name of Amity Park. 

The situation had seemed so simple. 

A Star Sapphire had suddenly shown up on Earth which isn’t immediately cause for concern but she was unidentified, so a lantern was definitely going to have to look into it if only just to make sure that nothing bad was going on. There are two planet side green lanterns, Simon and Jessica. So they responded to handle the potential situation. 

Things rapidly spun out of control when they realized it wasn't just a Star Sapphire. 

"I hate to say this but we're gonna need backup" Simon tells Cyborg, "the Star Sapphire has brought something with her. My first guess was a white martian but..." The other one can do some manner of density shifting, and he can go invisible, but they know ways around that. Whatever this one is doing isn’t that though.

"Why isn't this working!?!" Comes Jessica's slightly panicked voice in the distance, "he keeps just going through my creations! dammit, think think Jess" She tried to contain him with a flamethrower construct but he just ignored it, like he’s seemingly ignoring everything else she’s throwing at him.

"Our constructs have zero effect on the other one, the alien, meta? man I don’t know he’s human shaped" 

"What is the situation other than the two hostiles?"

"Uh we got some government agents who are retreating because of the Star Sapphire wrecking their stuff. And the civilian people here seem to be falling under her influence, so she must be human. She's from here, she needs emotional connection to pull that stuff off."

The people are furious, the violet glow around them clearly indicates that the girl is using her ring to amp them up but if Simon didn’t know any better he’d say this was red lantern stuff.

Well there are more ways to whip people up into a frenzy, by hurting their loved ones for example.

There is a brief moment where it can be heard that Simon and Jessica try to get into a more advantageous position. 

Simon grunts, "dammit, those agents seemed to have weapons that actually worked on the other guy but the Star Sapphire used her violet constructs to shield him and destroy their guns and we've been struggling since" this whole situation stinks, he has a weird feeling about all of it.

"Simon this is really really bad, i can't keep restraining all these civilians, we're running out of energy fast!"

Cyborg tries to get a visual on the situation from his position in the Watchtower while he’s notifying any league affiliated heroes who are nearby and available. 

But all of a sudden he realizes there is just nothing, just a big lap of void where the two lanterns are supposed to be, there is no cctv footage, no cell towers, no internet connection. Just what the hell is going on here.

Then the audio transmission starts to violently crackle.

A new voice laced with static can suddenly be heard, "There you two are"

"Shit"

"Is the justice league coming yet? Are they finally going to do something?" the staticy voice continues.

"Stay back you-"

"Or maybe they still need more of a reason to act" 

The audio cuts out. 

"Jessica! Simon! Come in!" ... "Shit!" 

Cyborg finally gets a clear picture with the satellite cameras and now sees the entirety of Amity Park has been covered with a crystalized violet dome. It’s then that he remembers the story Hal told quite some time ago now about a Star Sapphire who managed to put a whole planet into love stasis.

They are gonna need more help with this one he thinks.

Meanwhile Jazz is still shakily trying to figure out how her new pink powers work, now that all the fighting is over (for now), the GIW forcefully expelled from Amity, and the two Justice league people captured and restrained.

Everything happened so fast, one moment the GIW had knocked out her brother and were forcefully taking him away and while she saw them drive off (she was pretty sure she was screaming) a pink thing just froze her in place, She was pretty sure someone said something about “great love in her heart” and then she was… well she was flying and- and there wasn’t really any time to question things then so she may have kinda gone and ripped into the van that had Danny.

She’s pretty sure she healed him, and then things just completely spiraled out of control from that point on. and now she’s here.

She’s pretty sure this is crazy villain behavior, she’s going to get put on some sort of watchlist and then she’ll never get to be a psychologist but it’s fine.

Her little brother is safe, that’s all that matters. And she will keep it that way.

DC supervillain of the week who traps the justice league(in their league disguises) in a reality tv show like love island. it airs on tv and everything like they use supervillain powers to forcefully broadcast "love island: justice league edition" while the supers have to try and figure out how to escape. during a personal squabble wondy steps up and says "everyone calm down, we're all a team, we each have our strengths and weaknesses, we need to work together to solve this" and then it cuts to her talking head segment and she says "im not a fan of green lantern."

Danny became ghost king his first order of business was to return artifacts to there rightful owners. These owners included from multiple countries on earth, Amazonians, the sea, tamaran, and so many more. Danny wasn’t planning on running a museum of stolen artifacts anytime soon.

So what if they we’re given as a way to prevent pariah from cutting off passage to the afterlife or from just destroying them. Why would anyone question why they were returned.

Considering no one realizes there had been an exchange of power everyone. Everyone assumes pariah was no longer satisfied. Danny didn’t bother to leave a note or anything.

So now the justice league and others are preparing to summon the king and potentially have to seal him away.
