sanuso runaway AU - where Usopp leaves syrup village after his mom dies to look for his dad and ends up at the germa kingdom, growing up with Sanji as the doctor's lab assistant

That's basically the gist of it, there's a LOTT more but I just wanted to share some of the art I made for it (came up with it with a friend of mine)

In short -> sogeking is usopp's clone (the kids aren't aware of this) and was created to help germafied sanji on missions (sanji's scores began to improve after he met usopp so judge decided to keep him for more infiltration or espionage based tasks, hence "stealth black" since he's considered weaker than his siblings)

reiju's here too :) she and sanji have a bit of a rocky relationship (it gets better!!) but she's besties with usopp and hangs out with him at the lab to make ,, various concoctions

I'll make another post with more art and info later (I HAVE A LOTTT) so i'll tag em with (#op runaway au) hehe ,, feel free to send asks about it too!!

how far do people go with the odyssey symbolism when it comes to black sails? flint sees himself as Odysseus, obvious enough, but where does everyone else fit into it? is Miranda Penelope, steadfast in her belief that Flint will return home? (never mind where that physical home is, what island or nation plays the role for their reunion is inconsequential in the long run) or is that Thomas, a beacon in the darkness that flint longs for, that guides his hand even when all seems lost? that place where Odysseus lays down his oar, having it mistaken for a shovel — that’s savannah? where none of it is a choice and fate has decreed his own story isn’t one he’s suited to tell anymore? that he’s Nobody — cursed for his sins, reviled for his ruthlessness, but never remembered for his own name, his own self? the memories of his deeds fading, replaced with silver’s stories, his motivations and his suffering buried beneath the weight of newly-woven expectations.

Yeah, it's funny seeing Guybrush be a klutz and a goof and silly.

But it's also cool thinking how he probably practice for weeks on end to waltz/ballroom dance for Elaine for their wedding and it's the one form of dance he can do because of how hard he practice.

And he still remembers it.

The tutorial area/prologue Of yokei godneu: welcome to welcome island

The tutorial is the only area where Gofurias does not appear to the party in the main story, as the light stone plot line doesn’t start, until you leave the tutorial area, acting as a simple introduction without any real story presence, basically acting as the calm before the storm

The light stones being stolen would be mentioned, so you have a goal in mind, but gofurias and his allies wouldn’t appear in the tutorial area, plus there also isn’t any light stone in this area too.

As for the area, it is welcome island, an island outside the continent of pheron, it’s a rather peaceful island compared to the more wild continent of terranum, that most of the game takes place on, consisting of a peaceful town and marketplace for all adventures.

Welcome island acts as a little checkpiont, before anybody how wishes to be an adventurer arrives on pheron, as the only safe way to get to terranum is through taking a boat there, so sailors often dropped off at welcome island and made it a community of sorts.

Enemies don’t appear through the 1st half of welcome island, with the tutorial taking place, before a quick miniboss fight against a training dummy, to test the player, after the training dummy is beaten, weak low teir enemies will start appearing on the next part of the treak.

Since there is no light stone on welcome island, the major boss fight instead occurs, due to the small party needing to get to terranum, and get the 7 rainbow light stones back form the master theif and prankster, gofurias, and they need to take a boat to terranum

Unfortunately, the only boat that is docked at the time, has a grumpy old sailor, how doesn’t want the party to go to terranum, cause they just docked and fueled their ship, and was planning to stay on welcome island for a while, also cause it’s dangerous, and they don’t want to deal with it.

another one of my favorite genshin impact headcanons is the idea that kokomi is secretly a deep sea eldritch horror, sent by an ancient force to avenge the death of orobashi

this is most definitely not canon but imo it’s a really compelling idea. sangonomiya kokomi, divine priestess of watatsumi island, grace and elegance and benevolence incarnate, is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. a monster in disguise, risen from the barren depths of the sea, with one ultimate goal in mind.

make the shogun and her people pay.

every drop of blood, every life lost to the war, is more nourishment for her god. the shogunate’s soldiers will be fine prey for orobashi, and if the people of watatsumi die too? so be it. it doesn’t matter who dies. all that matters is that, in the end, what remains of orobashi is sated

i also like the idea that kujou sara is the only one who knows this. she’s the only person who has ever seen kokomi as she truly is, and as such, she dreads the thought of facing her on the battlefield. she knows that whatever demon hides behind that elegant facade will strike her down in a heartbeat. because all that lives, and all that comes from raiden ei, is nothing more than blood to water orobashi’s fields — and kokomi? she is no different. she simply exists to ensure her god is fed.

also before the war maybe kokomi goes hunting every now and then to drag the bodies of pirates or wayward sailors or shogunate samurai either to the depths of the sea, or to watatsumi. because after all, she is the divine priestess, and do priestesses not sacrifice too?

Man, I want a series-finale AU where Jon just lies his ass off about what happened to Daenerys. Like, the final dragon torched the Iron Throne and then flew off with her corpse. There is NO BODY and NO DRAGON.

He could just. Lie. He could just lie and say Dany, who recently torched the entire city, torched the throne too and then took off flying to destress.

Jon may or may not be able to get away with claiming she left him in charge and calm her remaining forces down. But there's no reason to tell anybody he killed her yet! Just lie, Jon!

Imagine you’re Telemachus.

Go ahead, picture it. You’re a kid growing up on an island where your dad is literally a living legend, but he’s been MIA your entire life. Twenty years of being “the son of Odysseus’’ and having no idea what that even means. Your mother constantly compares you to a guy you’ve never met, the suitors trash your house, eat your food, and openly plan your mom’s wedding like you’re not even there. Your own people think you’re too green, too weak, too not your father to do anything about it. One day, Athena shows up in disguise (because gods love a good mask) and tells you to stop moping around and go find news of your father. So, you set sail with no real plan, no real power, and a whole lot of unresolved resentment. You brave the seas, deal with cryptic kings, and what do you find? Nothing concrete, just more stories about how amazing Odysseus is. And then, just when you’re starting to think you’ve wasted your time, he shows up. But he turns out to be a killing machine, and you’re in the middle of the bloodbath, trying to keep up while the suitors are out for your head. At one point, they literally use you as bait to corner the king. Your father.

The first words you hear him say? Not to you, but to his enemies: “My mercy has long since drowned. It died to bring me home.’’ Imagine, how does that sit with you? You’ve spent your whole life dreaming of this reunion, hoping for a lovely father, a protector, maybe even a friend. Instead, you get this: a stranger soaked in blood, declaring that mercy — the thing you’ve clung to, the thing your mother embodies — has no place in his world.

But then he turns to you.

And suddenly, everything shifts. He looks at you, really looks at you, and says, “Oh my boy, the sweetest joy I’ve known.’’ The walls he’s built, the hardness he’s worn like armor, crack just enough for you to see the man underneath. For the first time, he’s not Odysseus the warrior, or Odysseus, the son of Laertes. He’s your father. He is Odysseus, father of dear Telemachus.

It doesn’t erase the pain, the years of absence, or the violence you just witnessed. But for that moment, it doesn’t matter. Because for the first time in your life, the man who’s been a myth, a memory, and a mystery, is standing in front of you — and he’s calling you his joy.

Spade Pirates’ First Mate Sabo AU

Except Sabo and Ace both don’t realize it’s each other because Sabo still has amnesia and Ace can’t recognize Sabo after 7 years because of the mask

This came from the writing prompt someone gave me of Sabo and Deuce interaction and once I got thinking about them I was like. There’s too many parallels. And couldn’t stop thinking about it

In this AU Sabo doesn’t get saved by Dragon, washes up onshore on Goa before he dies, and survives to set sail again a week or so later, but still has amnesia. Realizing that sailing alone as a ten year old is pretty unfeasible though, he stops sailing after the first few islands and lives as a feral forest child on his own for the next seven years until he feels ready and strong enough to try again.

He chooses his own name, Tage (pronounced taj), based on the assumption that Sabo is his last name and his belongings are too ruined to read his given name :) credit to whery for the name pun idea it’s absolutely genius

I might do some short comics for this if I ever get around to it but for now it’s just a loose collection of ideas!
