The commander’s head let out a trilling beep, almost like an exclamation of delighted recognition. When he lifts his head and processes the circumstances before him more thoroughly, though, processors now whirring in contemplation, he realizes that this is, NOT in fact, his Acht. Sigh. That is alright.

Even so, Tartar cannot help but approach this situation with a similar level of familiarity towards them anyways, albeit with a more pronounced level of caution now.

With most folks that he spoke to, he’d lean over them like he wished to suffocate them with his imposing shadow. He’d look down upon them, figuratively and literally. With Acht, he remained exactly as he stood when speaking to them. Viewing them as equal even with their comparably shorter stature.

Considering it has no clue what this iteration of Acht’s Tartar has done, it’s… reluctant to engage the conversation. Could this be reopening wounds? If their Tartar had been exceptionally harsh to them, it… wouldn’t be surprised. He was never above being harsh.

“… Acht,” he finally spoke, vocals crackling as if they’d been painstakingly forced out. “I… pray there’s no hard feelings at play.”

"... No hard feelings?"

Acht repeated incredulously... When it clicked. They'd encountered an interation of Commander Tartar before, so perhaps... This was a different one.

After a moment of hesitation, they continued speaking.

"... Not towards you specifically, no... Or at least not this version of you, probably. Hell if I know how you telephones treat the other versions of me across here."

They crossed their arms as they nailed down the approach they're gonna take with this one.

Twins in time au.... Would Fiddleford act as a sort of father figure to Stan? Since Filbrick obviously SUCKED to both Stan and Ford and Fidd is more than definitely missing HIS son, and of course Ford has grown to love him but they're still BROTHERS.. Maybe they could act as the father/son the other is missing?

V is not her aunt but close enough, Porter calls her Vivi and she is NOT on the "OK to babysit list" LOL, V is fun to play with but not the one to go for childcare.

V doesn't treat Porter like porcelain so uses roughhousing and play fighting to help her develop coordination and cognition. Can and will carry her around like a kitten to keep her hands free

While still fixated on TMNT at large, I am especially not able to stop thinking about Bad End Ninja Turtles, an au comic by @butterfilledpockets. 2003's "Same as it Never Was" Raph may not have ever experienced the Ninja Tribunal arc, AND I don't think Rise movie Leo still has his powers, so maybe this was just as much of a surprise for the both of them as it was for Ronin. at least we know for sursies Don-bot has seen magic shit before.

really an inexplicable train of thought but i feel like taako is the kind of person who in a modren era au would just decide to go to a shooting range and learn how to shoot a pistol for funsies, but would consider learning to spin the pistol all cool like they do in cowboy movies to be his first and foremost priority. like hes already bought a holster and the moment he is given a gun he immediately starts trying to twirl it. the instructor has to tell him to stop or theyll take the gun away from him. he keeps trying to lead the conversation back to it anyway because he really feels like theyre putting the cart before the horse here if hes learning how to shoot the gun before even knowing how to dramatically reholster it if he were to get in some sort of cowboy duel. hes actually really good at the shooting part but he gets kicked out of the class after his eighth guntwirling attempt in which he accidentally flicks the safety off mid twirl and shoots one of their light fixtures
