Thinkin about ghost....

Ghost who sleeps with his back pressed firmly against the wall because he's been shot in the back one too many times, leaving it unprotected while he sleeps feels like a death wish to him

Ghost who bundles up his blanket to cover his front. The last thought before he sleeps is 'i hope the blanket is thick enough to stop a knife at least.'

Ghost who sleeps facing the door and with the window in a few short steps at most. He watches the door until the very last second, until sleep overpowers his eyes and they fall shut.

Ghost...who when he shares the bed for the first time practically uses you as a shield since you insisted on sharing the blanket. So of course you are now the substitute for his blanket shield. perfectly reasonable.

Ghost who, one night, falls asleep with his back facing you, not pressed up against the wall though he's still facing the door because someone needs to keep both of you safe.

Ghost who would never admit that the feeling of you pressed against his back was a lot more pleasant than the hard, cold wall, maybe even comforting.

Ghost who now can fall asleep so easily next to you, belly exposed like animals do to show trust, because he knows when he wakes up the worst thing you've done to him is draw on him.

Ghost who feels safe enough to lower his guard while sleeping.

The inherent comedy of detective conan is outsiders seeing this elementary kid running around in places children really shouldn't be and getting too curious for his own good meanwhile these bunch of high profile very capable adults are tagging along with him like they are his royal babysitter and he is the son of president or something.

I love Lestrade because he’s one of the few examples I can think of of a well written narrative punching bag.

He isn’t needlessly abused for absolutely no reason, he’s kind of an asshole. And he stubbornly refuses to learn his lesson.

But the way that he’s ‘punished’ isn’t overdone or to a ridiculous extreme, he’s just an asshole who gets his ass handed to him sometimes.

But we also learn over time that there’s more to his character, and he has genuine moments of being cool and bonding with Holmes and Watson.

just another trope I'd like to see more of.

feral person A with leash holder person B, except, hear me out, it's not in the 'i own you' or 'i control you' kinda way.

it's in the way where person B is fully aware of how feral person A is...and simply shows them who to direct it on, gives them something to protect, gives them a target, the leash is just for show, just to let people know where the demon person A was sent from.

imagine in a fight or something and person A is holding back either not fighting and being somewhere else or not fighting at their full ability, only to get a nod from person B and everyone just goes "oh...shit" and person A is just like a switch, the leash has been dropped but in all honesty the leash was just there for show, for person A to find their way back like some giant bloodthirsty cat dropping off their prey proudly. and person B? you'd expect them to give person A a telling off, a lesson on morals at least...but no, they pat A's head proudly and praise them, tell them that they did such a good job

Everyone be lookin at person B like ' bitch get yo dawg' while person B is actively encouraging person A to be even more feral. (they probs think it's hot)

He survived but got badly wounded. They tried to pass it off as an accident and white people are pretending it’s one but the Arab and Black witnesses are saying he was pushed on purpose.
