After reading all the reviews about how good this series was, I was pretty excited to read this one as my first one, but prior reading experience is definitely needed. I was so lost with all of the characters in this book that I really needed a map, and I really don't understand how things unfolded plot wise the way they did. Tock and Shay's relationship seemed to take a back seat to other events that happened during the book, just peeking in here and there, and it was definitely not what I expected. Cute and funny humor though.

My rating: 2 stars.
