On the hunt for eggs today? The banded jawfish (Opistognathus macrognathus) has a mouthful! Banded jawfish dads-to-be carry eggs in their mouth. This behavior—which helps protect offspring from predators—is known as mouthbrooding. To attract females, males do a “dance” that involves a series of sweeping movements and fin-flashing. They even open their mouths as wide as possible to boast their mouthbrooding potential!

On April 1, 1945, U.S. Marines from 2nd Battalion, 22nd Marine Regiment, exit their amphibious vehicles onto Green Beach One on the island of Okinawa. It was both Easter Sunday and April Fools when American forces landed that day.

Grammy® Award-winning Christian artist, Matthew West (“My Story…Your Glory,” “We Need Christmas”) narrates Museum of the Bible’s fascinating The History of Easter, an entertaining look at everything related to the holiday from how Easter is calendared each year to how colorful eggs and bunnies became part of a global celebration of Spring.

Just in Time
Enjoy the encore presentation of Just in Time (which originally premieres March 26) starring Laura Osnes, Peter Bryant, and Greyston Hold. The movie is the fourth production under the Candace Cameron Bure Presents studio banner.
In Just in Time, Hannah (Osnes) and her husband, Rowan (Holt) have focused all their time, energy, and attention into trying to have a baby. The pressure to complete their family starts weighing heavily on their relationship. The couple is left questioning if having a child is the right thing to do and if they are still right for one another. When Hannah receives a call from a stranger, named Franklin (Bryant), who claims to have discovered an antique on the beach bearing an inscription unique to Hannah and Rowan, she reluctantly agrees to meet him to look. Franklin is certain the watch is a long-lost heirloom from Hannah’s family. In the end, Franklin’s patient approach helps Hannah see that the answers to all she seeks will be revealed in God’s time.
Bure says of the movie, “In this stunningly aspirational Easter presentation, Laura Osnes and Peter Bryant will bring you to tears... We strive to deliver to our audience deep, meaningful, faith-filled entertainment of the highest quality.”
Just in Time re-airs on Friday, March 29 from 6-8pm Eastern.

El Crimen del Padre Amaro (2002, Carlos Carrera) 🇲🇽
With release delayed a few months to avoid collision with the Pope's visit, around the time the Catholic church was being exposed for pedophilia all over the world, the film broke box office records in Mexico after the country’s Catholic leadership and conservative / anti-abortion groups tried to ban it, driving even more people to see it.
It proceeded to be nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the Academy Awards and won Best Picture at the Ariel Awards.
