I'm a British minor and I'm also trans

I use he/him pronouns and I'm basically just here to post all my stuff so it's in one place (I keep losing everything in my camera roll so I'm trying to keep it all together TvT)

I go through different hyperfixations pretty fast, so I may be posting about one fandom for a week non-stop and then completely switch it up the next and post about a new fandom.

But I generally stick to familiar fandoms and I don't often gain new interests. Stuff I keep going back to is Hermitcraft and similar MCYTs such as Empires smp (I mainly watch Grian and Scott if anyone's interested).

Recently I've been getting into Call of Duty but I don't actually play and I'm only really into the campaigns and the TF141 stuff. I also started playing Red dead redemption 2 the other day and I'm already so invested!!

My main Hyperfixation at the time of posting is Ghost (the band). Tobias Forge has me in a CHOKEHOLD and I've been obsessed ever since I found this silly little band

Past hyperfixations include: Doctor Who, Good Omens, The Magnus Archives, Zelda botw and totk, Don't hug me I'm scared, Undertale (this game got me through lockdown), and Pokemon!

Hello, I’m Paris Jones (aka PJ for short) or I also go by Ciel, I use he/they pronouns! I’m a hobbyist artist but hoping to become an author, so you’ll probably see a lot more written work from me!

mcyt to drag queen pipeline is so real 😩 i was of the dsmp side of mcyt but june last year i got wildly fixated on t&k and it all went down from there

I've watched drag race for a while (s12 was my first live season) but it just took less priority than the things i was hyperfixated on at the time, and then the dsmp rolled around and COMPLETELY redirected my attention from the premiere of season 13 (which, given that its one of my not-so-favorite seasons, i dont actually mind) and had me in a chokehold until wilburs revival at which point i just started distancing myself and finding more interest in hermitcraft, which then had me in a chokehold all the way up until september of last year where i remembered drag race existed and pretty much it was over from there. the brainrot has become terminal. help

I notice this a lot in Empires too, the control that the more popular ccs have over the less popular ones, I personally love Gem and absolutely don't want this to come off as any hate to her, but everyone always portrays her as the nice now of the WRA and the only one who was not a villain, when she definitely was not? Gem and Fwhip definitely don't have a big subscriber difference, but Gem was honestly much more selfish and manipulative than most people write her as and it kind of annoys me when people simplify her to "smart wizard who wants peace and is fed up with her brother." Also, Gem herself has said that her character is "more of a spicy neutral" and so ignoring that just feels like mixing her hermitcraft character/irl persona with her empires one, when her empires one is her playing a character

You also kind of notice the flower husbands thing repeating itself, Jimmy's allies are always referred to as protecting their innocent little boy, the WRA are pretty much constantly insulting Jimmy and while yes they are playing a character, Jimmy is forced into the same character every time.

Scott also consistently overshadows other people the series he's in, once again using Empires as an example (I have a hyperfixation on it), he's always considered the protagonist, which kind of overshadows Gem and Shrub who (imo) are who seem like the other two protagonists of the Xornoth arc (like I mentioned before, Gem was a bit more antagonistic but her role kind of changes as the story moves on). The Xornoth arc also once again switches the focus from Jimmy to Scott

No idea if I'm adding anything to this post or just rambling incomprehensibly but uh yeah, love Scott, don't love the chokehold he has over how characters are perceived, ignore my rant about Gem at the beginning, I just really like talking about her

I feel like a lot of the way jimmy is treated as incompetent and or stupid in fics and fanon is a direct knock on effect from scott in third life I mean what
