A warlock patron that makes you watch an ad before casting a leveled spell

Absolutelly underrated dynamic between Warlock and Patron is Sire/Sired. Forget about the "I own you / I sold my soul to you and I must do your wishes" what about "I am devoted to you and you're honoring me every time you grant me a gift." what about the "You're infinitely more powerful than I'll ever be but I will raise my puny sword for you at any time"

Warlock: I have witnessed unspeakable horrors. The horrors weren't undescribable or anything, I just had to sign an NDA.

wish i coud be a warlock myself in real life. you mean you have a lifetime contract, full time job, cool super powers and a present parental figure??? "oh but its not that easy, actually-" it seems better and more ethical than any job nowadays.

i just think its so fun when a warlock/patron relationship isnt the usual toxic all powerful being and some lowly worshiper and is instead family taking "love you, be safe, call me when you get there" to the most it can be

It's honestly hilarious to me how the weakest spellcasting class in D&D---aka, warlocks---are an absolute goldmine for storytelling and role-playing purposes
