I feel sorry for Orin
repurposed from an old Reddit post of mine
Edit: Wrote an epilogue fic where my Durge, Sofija, seeks redemption for her sister with the Gods
Raised from birth in the Bhaal cult and has never known ANYTHING else. Literally the result of incest between her mom and Sarevok (her father AND grandfather) - and for her entire life is actively manipulated and groomed to worship her "Grandfather" second only to Bhaal (leaving a disgusting implication that Sarevok might eventually try again). Literally every single day of her life spent in a murder cult, never knowing anything else.
Her mother is actively manipulated when Orin is seven to try to kill her daughter, only for Orin to reflexively kill her first, at which point Orin was briefly possessed by Bhaal himself (per some Sarevok dialogue). AT AGE SEVEN. And even from a young age, Orin's true gift is her artistry, a talent that outside the Bhaal cult probably could have been nurtured into something phenominal, but inside the cult is twisted into a sinisterness in the kill that, when she's out of earshot is decried as wasteful.
She eventually rises through the ranks (never have had any choice), having never felt a meaningful moment of compassion or kindness and, desperate to be cared about, sees the power and fear and respect her bloodkin (The Dark Urge) has gained and uses their hubris to take them out.
Ironically, in the timeline where Durge lives, they get a gift Orin couldn't even dream of - a 2nd chance. With their brain scrambled and the tadpole present but being interfered with, the Dark Urge got a chance to be someone new. (Whether they accept or reject that 2nd chance, they at least got a choice this time).
What did Orin get for her troubles? Her (grand)father openly coveted to either take her out, or worse, take her out - when the time was right, her own allies both detested her (Gortash openly revels at the idea of working with the Dark Urge again)
and most brutally, if you manage to confront her with the truth, any of it? About Sarevok, about her mother, etc? She immediately believes you. And for one (1) moment, maybe there's hope for her.
Hope that Bhaal immediately rips away; an Orin confronted with the truth and showing even the slightest hesitation is immediately forcibly transformed into the Slayer by Bhaal himself, with a strong implication that the core of the old Orin is gone forever win, lose, or draw. "No more doubts, no more fears, no more Orin. Become murder.". Seeing what Bhaal's reaction was the moment Orin had one (1) instant of hesitation also confirms that she'd likely have never had the chance to choose differently, either Bhaal would always step in or else she'd eventually meet her end.
Imagine the AU where Orin takes her CLEAR flair and artistic talent to become a truly great artist. Where she gets the same second chance that Durge got - If she'd been able to use her talent for impersonation and desire to great to do something powerful instead of being forced by her family from childhood into the family business of murder.
She literally never had a chance. Even Bane and Myrkul and their respective cults were never so unfathomably cruel, and she never knew anything else.
At least for my own first game, though, my Durge recognized that without her "sister," she'd have never gotten the chance to save the world, never met Shadowheart, never stopped a century worth of Ketheric's torture on Dame Aylin, never set in motion the liberation of the Githyanki...In the right world states, Orin unwittingly saved the world, but it's a world she'll never get to see or know, and probably never could have.
That's tragic as hell.

Okay, so here’s a Salem theory I’ve recently come up with that ties into an aspect of her character that I feel has been largely under-explored:
The fact that in many respects, Salem is all too similar to RUBY.
As I’ve stated in the past in other posts, there are some very interesting similarities that can be drawn between Ruby and Salem. To the point where I think we can consider Salem to be Ruby’s true ‘evil-counterpart’ in the story. Particularly ever since the ‘Girl in the Tower’ episode of Fairy Tales of Remnant.
The Girl in the Tower showed that Salem ALSO had a great love for stories as a child, just like Ruby. And across the show, we have shown Ruby develop a number of traits and abilities much like what we have seen from Salem.
Both have built a select group of close and loyal allies, and in recent volumes, Ruby has displayed a growing talent in manipulating her enemies to gain advantage over them just like Salem. And as of the Volume 9 epilogue and Beyond, we are seeing Ruby rallying the entire world against Salem, just like Salem once did against the gods.
Heck, Ruby likely has her own equivalent to Ozma in PENNY, as recent volumes have emphasized more and more. A great warrior in green touched by magic who is tragically taken from Ruby, only to be brought back and then taken from her again.
There are even notable similarities in their physical abilities: Ruby’s Silver Eyes seem to be a power drawn from the God of Light, just like Salem’s immortality. And as I’ve theorized in other posts, recent revelations about Ruby’s semblance might mean that Ruby could potentially be just as unkillable as Salem.
It all feels like something that could very naturally build to a classic “We are not so different, you and I…” twist and exchange between Ruby and Salem.
Ultimately, I think a/the big twist and reveal about Salem that we’re eventually going to get is that she is a fallen hero. And more specifically, that she represents a fallen RUBY.
Let’s consider for a moment that we have every reason to view Jinn as an unreliable narrator when it comes to her vision in Volume 6.
And when we start looking at Jinn’s vision with the knowledge that it is almost certainly both HEAVILY skewed in favor of the God of Light and meant to paint Salem in as UNFAVORABLE light as possible, then I think we can get a much better picture of Salem in the old world.
Again, I think that the biggest and yet most natural and logical narrative twist we could see here is a big reveal that Salem was in fact absolutely a HERO, and more specifically was essentially the RUBY of her time: She united the whole world, just like Ruby is doing. All to lead humanity against a terrible threat, just like Ruby is doing.
And Salem ultimately FAILED.
Salem was able to unite humanity and lead them against the gods, only for it to all go terribly wrong. When the gods (likely Light, given both the unreliable nature of Jinn’s narration and what we learned from the Blacksmith) wiped humanity out and left Salem alive as a ‘punishment’ for her ‘insolence’ for rising up against them.
Thus does Salem represent a dark and tragic look at a Ruby who ultimately failed. And was so completely and utterly BROKEN as a result that she has eventually become twisted into a terrible villain.
And the really cool thing is; if we start looking at Salem as essentially representing a broken, fallen Ruby who has become a villain, I think this could give us an avenue to guessing just what Salem’s REAL goals truly are.
Because what might a fallen, twisted, villainous Ruby who failed to save humanity actually WANT?
Well, what if Salem actually wants to bring Old Humanity BACK?
As in, undo the destruction wrought by the gods and REMAKE her old world. And more specifically, undo her great FAILURE.
Unfortunately, Salem also views the PRESENT humanity/faunus as nothing but regrettable collateral damage or possibly even necessary sacrifices to her plan. Or just as ‘pretenders’ who are in her way.
Thus does Salem possess what seems to be a noble goal to her, yet has led her to becoming all too similar to the gods she once stood against.
And I think we can already find a couple potential hints to this. Like how in Jinn’s vision, we see that Salem at first simply wanted to rule over the ‘present’ age of humanity, and how she was overjoyed at learning that her and Oz’s children inherited their magic.
But then Oz told her about the relics, and Salem started getting IDEAS.
What if the REAL reason that Salem is after the relics is because she sees them as a way to bring back the humanity that was lost? Her humanity.
This could even give us an answer as to what Salem intends to do about the gods:
After all, Salem wouldn’t just be resurrecting just any humanity, she’d be bringing back the humanity that she united behind her. All the loyal friends, allies and followers who followed her into battle against the gods.
What if Salem intends to finish what they started?
And as to how Salem intends to prevent a repeat of what happened last time?
Well perhaps that’s what all of Salem’s hybrid experiments are for. I mean, a combination of the powers of Light in the Silver Eyes and Dark in the Grimm? What if Salem trying to figure out how to use the Brothers’ powers AGAINST them?
All in all, I feel like Salem turning out to represent a ‘Fallen Ruby’ presents a very natural way to tie together all the parallels we’ve already seen between Ruby and Salem, while also just being a great twist.
Like it’s one thing for our big villain to have some general similarities to our main heroine. It’s a whole other deal for it to turn out that at one time, this big villain was in fact JUST LIKE our main heroine. Driven by all-too-similar heroic who sought to save the world from some seemingly all-powerful threat. And showing just how our heroine could become the very thing she is fighting so hard against.
Such a twist and reveal would hit seriously hard for Ruby and co, and really solidify Salem as Ruby’s final narrative foil and true evil-counterpart. Summer showed how Ruby’s self-destructive hero-complex could ultimately break her.
Salem shows how Ruby could become all too similar to the very thing she was fighting against.

Epic The Musical what if
(What if Eurylochus died instead of Polites?)
-We can say that most of the Troy saga would be the same. From (The Horse and the infant. To Polyphemus)
-The big change is during survive, when Polyphemus reveals his club and goes to strike Polites, but by a change of fate. Odysseus notices a second sooner, pushing Polites out of the way, saving them both. But Eurylochus wasn’t so lucky.
-The club killed him. And Odysseus felt a rage. This is what happens when you approach with open arms.
-Remember them changes to. “Avenge them.”
-Odysseus does the same plan as before. Blinding the cyclops. But the difference was that he felt a new burning rage. A hatred for these cyclops. They killed the blinded Polyphemus.
-They weren’t leaving until they killed the giants on the island.
-Polites pleads that they killed enough. But Odysseus berates him. Saying that his weakness is what made Eurylochus die. If they had attacked first they would have won.
-Odysseus experiences a different version of “My goodbye” as Athena leaves him because he is now acting more like Ares than a student of hers.
-Polites was against the several months they spent hunting and killing those giants
- Odysseus and his crew end up killing the giants on the island. And restocked on food. They leave the island. When a storm hits. (Basically the same result where they see the sky island)
- Luck runs out plays but with a slight change. It’s Polites suggesting that they don’t interact with the wind god. That they leave and not push their luck. But Odysseus ignores his advice.
-Odysseus gets the bag of winds. And the shenanigans ensues.
-The winds bring them to Poseidon. Who is a LOT more pissed off. Yea they killed his son, but they killed his sons. And in their brutality, Poseidon found out it was Odysseus that did it. And he is brutal. Killing most of the crew. The song Ruthlessness is the same but it talks about the difference between Ruthlessness and vengeance.
-They escape cause the wind bag.
-after this Polites actually tells Odysseus that the cruelty is what caused them this pain. That they need compassion.
-Puppeteer happens but with Polites being the one to return and he tells Odysseus that they need a plan. He was not going to leave them to be pigs like Eurylochus.
-Basically “Wouldn’t you like” and “Done for” happen the same. But Odysseus kills Circe thanks to Hermes’s giving him the power. This unfortunately means that there was no way of turning the men back from pigs.
-Polites pointed out that they could have saved their men if they had talked to her. But Odysseus points out that she was trying to kill them. And he chose them.
-Because of this, Polites speaks up. He says that Odysseus went too far.
-Fortunately Hermes shows up and helps them get to the underworld (he is the messenger)
-It’s there where the underworld saga occurs. And the underworld song has Odysseus hear Eurylochus instead of Polites.
-No longer you is the same
-“Monster” is sung but with a different inflection. Odysseus realizes he has become a monster and resolves to try and be more compassionate. War had made him lose himself
-“suffering” was the same, but “Different beast” is very different as when the Syrens were captured. They made a deal, if the Syrens helped the crew navigate passed Scylla. They would spare them.
-Unfortunately, this plan failed as the Syrens betrayed them to Scylla and they lost 6 men.
-Mutiny occurs but not because of Polites orchestrating it. But Perimedes.
-Polites tried to stop it. But the crew caught Odysseus off guard and He and Polites were captured.
-The crew killed the cow on the island of the Sun god. And of course Zeus shows up.
-But he had a twist. Since Polites had sided with Odysseus. Polites would not be killed in the crew part of the decision.
-The ship is destroyed as the result of Thunderbringer.
-Odysseus and Polites wake up on Calypso’s island. Where Polites accepts the hospitality with open arms. Odysseus is missing his wife and mourning his mistakes. Polites does help keep Ody from being suicidal.
-The events of the wisdom saga are the same, though the flashbacks are altered.
-Eventually after seven years, divine intervention does kick in. But Calypso isn’t as hard to convince to let Odysseus go. She decided she liked Polites more. And Polites agreed to stay with Calypso. Odysseus apologizes to Polites for not heeding his advice and now he’s stuck there.
-But Polites assures him that he was doing what he thought was right. The song is altered to “Don’t be sorry” he has a hot goddess wife.
-Odysseus thanks them both. Telling them he loves them both. And wishing them all the happiness.
-Odysseus then heads off with the help of Hermes.
-Odysseus eventually gets home. Kills the suitors and reunites with his wife and son.
-Odysseus receives a message from Polites. To remember to receive this return to his life with open arms.

Kamiki is such a weird character. I keep talking about him because he's like a puzzle. I want to make sense of him because I'm... really confused when it gets to him. I really enjoy analyzing characters, but I usually don't even feel the need to write things down to figure out their character: for his case though?
There are so many claims about him being a horrible, evil, maniac, a heartless psychopath serial killer selfishly using others for his own gain.
Since he's supposedly the father of the protagonist and who had a relationship with Ai, I look at him intently whenever he makes an appearance, because I get curious just what is UP with this man and see him for myself, and I find that when he ACTUALLY does something, he.. tends to be so mild compared to what he's been thought to be. It's so weird. He's nothing like all those things he's said to be when he shows up in person, so the information I've been given to interpret him and the actual character does not match up. I keep feeling he has a kind nature. I think I believe that more compared to the descriptions he has because... it's what he actually is, you know.
People say he's done things, but we never see it in present tense with him actually carrying out these actions in person. It's all speculation.
You see, the thing is, we NEVER get to see him actually DO things on screen. We still don't know what he's said on the phone with Ai (and it turns out that he probably really didn't say much. I say he really DID want to only just send her the bouquet. Anyhow, Ai doesn't seem that uncomfortable talking to him, and we find she had him in her heart all along.) In that phone call with Nino as well, if you see her reactions, it was about turning themselves in?? How was that supposed to be a trigger to go stab a person? Could he have predicted this? Claims that he's manipulated and caused people to become killers? Well, we see ONE case of it something like it happening right now in 161 OH MY GOD even our main protagonist, Aqua could not escape this weird.. turn of events, and here we see Kamiki ACTUALLY wanting to keep Aqua from trying to kill him/become a murderer for whatever intent he has behind it. Aqua still ends up doing something really reckless. In this case, it's exactly the OPPOSITE result of what Kamiki's desired.
I really feel like he never intends for these things to happen and yet, it does. What is there for him to gain from this??? At least for Ai, Gorou and this current.. 161's case, I don't think he even dreamed of this happening. I don't know about the other cases if there are but, Nino says all he did was "talk", and that must be it... he could have some powers to make people grow insane by just talking maybe, but even if it's so, I think it's happening against his wishes and it's not something he can control.
To add, there really isn't much solid base for these claims he's facing STILL, even till the series reaches its end. Some accusations are being thrown at him, but just how much has ACTUALLY taken place? What's the truth? If he's a murderer, just how many lives did he take? I guess... that could be revealed later but; why.. keep it so hidden if he really is that kind of person? In 160, he says he didn't do anything. What if that's true? Why do we never see him take some direct action, even till the final arc? To be fair, there IS the case of Yura, but even that is very vague. I'll talk about that a little more later.
At this point, I feel like they've never shown these scenes to us BECAUSE that would make for a twist. If things go as expected and he is just a mere serial killer who's killed anyone who surpasses Ai for his self-satisfaction, it wouldn't need to be kept so hidden;; in fact, it should have been revealed more because that'd make this guy a menacing antagonist our heroes must defeat. It would add more drive and flavor and make us want to cheer for Aqua's revenge, but it isn't that way. The twist would be that, he could have really done nothing much.. been pretty sensible all along.
In cases like Nino or Ryosuke, we've seen situations where they expressed hatred, stabbed someone, or did something drastic. We see them being dangerous people.
But with Kamiki, whenever they actually do something, it’s not really a big deal, and they come across as rather gentle. To the point where their actions could even be interpreted as kindness. From what I see, they seem to have a genuinely good nature, and apparently, they used to be like that.
There’s just one thing that bothers me—Yura’s case. Honestly, their reaction back then was really strange. When I look at Kamiki’s behavior patterns, whenever they’re dealing with something overwhelming or hiding their true feelings, they always smile. He says some really weird things and he smiles... anyhow, yeah, he does seem to feel guilt about it...
I mean, if they were going to kill Yura, there wouldn’t be any reason to warn her to 'watch her step,' right? That’s what confuses me. What needs to be cleared up now is this: Ai, Ryosuke, and Gorou—he wasn't responsible for those three deaths at least. So, if this suspicion can be resolved, unless there's solid proof that they’ve killed others, it all just sounds like speculation. Is there anything that’s really been confirmed to be their doing? Tsukuyomi was wrong once already; should I trust her about Kamiki's true motives?
Why do I keep feeling like this person is actually a good person every time they appear? Their actions and the accusations are so different.
It’s starting to feel like, 'Could this kind of person really have killed anyone?' Is this supposed to happen or am I reading this story wrong? But here’s the thing—I think the author and I are on the same wavelength with some things; I’ve guessed so many things correctly...
There’s something more to this. This isn’t the end… It feels too suspicious.
If Kamiki's really, truly bad, I’ll accept it—I’ve already said that they should die if they are. But there’s still something nagging at me. I wouldn't be the only one, right?
A truly bad person with real fault wouldn’t behave this way. Of course, people act in all sorts of ways. But this character… something always feels off, so I can’t be certain.
And honestly, that would make for a better story. In the grander context and message of the narrative, it would be more fitting if this character were actually innocent but wrongly accused over and over. That’s what I think.
Also, the fact that Ai left a message asking someone to help this person… that’s partly why I keep thinking about this. They seem really kind…
It makes sense why Ai might have loved them. I get it. I think this person is actually good.
You see, I didn't hold much thought about the guy and just went along with the claims he faced until I heard "Fatal", and having seen Ai wanting to help the guy. Just three seconds in the song (I didn't even know the lyrics at first) I get this...rush of sensation... it's so hard to describe, but I just knew, this emotion there, that must be his.. and so I started drawing him and Ai a lot. I rarely get these wrong. It was such a strong wave of feelings I got.. I guess that's been one of my biggest fuel for the past few months! I really hope I'm right! I felt very.. stunned and sure back then. It was a very strong type of feeling that anchored my thoughts. I trust my intuition when it comes to emotions, I'm usually good with them! It's hard to ask others to trust with me, but I can write posts like these with the reasoning that stems from those feelings I have along with some evidence I find from the work! I've already stepped too deep into this pit and I'll be so embarrassed if I'm wrong but, at least I had fun. I think I've been learning a lot.. having thought a lot... it's been good practice, trying to read characters- I really want to be good at it! It's fun!

Melina is the Gloam Eyed Queen
I've come to this conclusion because I think the simplest possible answer the game provides is going to be more convincing than the 5D chess theory crafting required to explain her existence. Convoluted theories of her being the GEQ's child, or the GEQ sealed in a child, or cursed from an Empyrean rival or what not require theorizing how Melina could end up with the GEQ's powers when the simplest answer is that she simply is the GEQ.
If that's not enough for you I've listed below several reasons why I've come to believe that Melina is the GEQ.
1. The Frenzied Flame Ending shows you that Melina is the GEQ.
The Frenzied Flame ending shows her vowing to deliver destined death to you with the appearance of the Gloam Eyed Queen. I don't think it gets any simpler than the game telling you who she is.
2. The Shadow Realms may imply that there is a period of time between Marika's Ascension and the establishment of the Golden Order.
I list this as important because it slots Melina's story neatly into a timeline where it can exist and make sense.
The two biggest hints that this period exists are the Marika statues and churches scattered across the land (even in places Messmer's crusade could not reach such as the Abyssal Woods) and the hornsents' fixation on Marika's betrayal.
Some people believe the betrayal happened shortly after (or during) her ascension but that doesnt don't really sit well with me because the hornsent would have needed to trust her first for the betrayal to feel real. No evidence in game shows that the hornsent had much respect for the shamans beyond them being great concrete goo, so it doesn't really make sense that they'd feel betrayed by someone they feel below them. If they felt someone below their station had become a god they didn't accept, they would surely use the word cheated would they not? But they don't use the word cheated, they use the word betrayed. For a betrayal to feel real, the hornsent would have needed to trust and consider her to be an important part of their culture first. Perhaps they did not care all that much that Marika was a shaman, just that she was a successful result of the Divine Gateway they built. Surely after all the sacrifices they must have felt some relief that it worked out?
So after her ascension, churches and stakes are propped up through out the land before they are abruptly slaughtered and sealed away during Messmer's campaign. Sometime between those two events is where the GEQ's story fits in.
3. Dominula's Rituals show that both the GEQ and Marika share similar cultural traditions. Festive Grease ties it back to traditions in the Shadow Realms.
There are a number reddit posts that have connected the braids of Dominula's festivals to Marika and the Godskins. This reddit post points out cultural overlap of the flowers, runes and visuals seem to imply that they are honoring Marika from traditions that predate the Erdtree, yet in practice seem to be in-line with what the Godskins celebrate. I believe that the festive grease implies that the flaying traditions were done by the Numen shamans themselves which was then picked up by worshipers in Dominula. Perhaps, Melina herself incorporates the cultural flaying in her faction as a twisted and bittersweet way to remember the shamans that came before her. With all this laid out, it's easy to conclude that the Erdtree allows the Dominula tradition to continue despite it's connection with the 'heretical' Godskins, because it has always been a part of Marika's heritage as well.
4. Ranni and Melina's sealed eye implies that they are both Empyreans. (more info for Miquella & Malenia to follow.)
I also like the theory that all of the Empyreans are one eyed which would neatly explain what similarities Melina and Ranni may have. There isn't much visual evidence that Miquella and Malenia were one eyed, but people on reddit speculated that Miquella could have literally meant that he had one eye when when said, “I abandon here my eye”. For Malenia, it could have been that the rot had already claimed one of her eyes in youth as we could see with Millicent's sisters, with differing variances of their sight being afflicted by the Scarlet Rot. Hers is admittedly the shakiest conjecture, but it's a theory I like that visually links Ranni and Melina and gives unity to all the Empyreans born under the Golden Order.
This reddit post is the one that put me on board with the one eyed empyrean theory which lists a lot of evidence for this pattern. There are some points that make me pause though, because I could not verify some of these claims, such as the One Eyed Marika statue supposedly located in the Round Table. If they are talking about the Colosseum Marika, I think the statue is simply too damaged for that to be verifiable.
That said, I think this is an interesting observation, and it'd be interesting to see fanart of Miquella with one eye.
4. Melina is one of three other people who are familiar with Torrent, two of which are Empyrean Demigods.
This one is simple. Torrent seems to have a nose for power. Ranni seems to be familiar with him and we see promo material of Miquella riding him in the Shadow Realms.
5. The Drama
The drama of a Marika having Maliketh kill her child who rebelled against her sounds so messy and inline with the rest of the family's mess that I can't help but enjoy it. This is not proof of anything, this is me admitting that accepting Melina as the GEQ aligns with my flavor of Rule of Cool. Not to mention it would be in character for both Fromsoft and GRRM to have a daughter rebel against her mother and be crushed and erased from history for it.
So if we assume Melina is the GEQ, the timeline would imply that:
Melina, first daughter of Marika is born as an Empyrean.
Gains control over the Rune of Death and the Godskin Apostles.
Implements characteristics of the Crucible in her Godskins (with their animal/snake like features) and adopts the practice of ritual flaying.
Comes into conflict with her mother, Marika and is defeated by Maliketh.
Marika creates The Golden Order.
Various wars to consolidate the Golden Order's power are launched.
The Messmer's crusades are launched and sealed away with the Shadow Realms and are forgotten.
The Shattering happens.
Melina is left as a somewhat amnesiac spectral version of herself until the Tarnished guides her on their journey back to the Erdtree.
The rest is up to us.
====
And that's that.
As usual, all this theory crafting is just for fun and can be right or wrong. I know I already disagree with some of my Messmer/Melina theories I myself wrote(lol) but I've settled on this one pretty strongly lately and wanted to share.

dreaming of you - e.b
summary: what if the lightning strike killed buck, and y/n and the 118 were left to pick up the pieces?
evan buckley x reader
prepared to make ppl sad!!! this is one of my favorite pieces, i hope you enjoy <3
y/n’s hand was being gripped by maddies, staring at the useless ring on her finger. the one that had become so agonizing in the snap of a finger. they sat in the pews together, surrounded by his family and her own. the 118. her eyes were glued to the wooden box at the front of the church.
the second that intubation entered bucks mouth, everyone knew it wasn’t coming back out, unless it was to finish him off. the lightning strike had hit him at the perfect time, stopping his heart and doing irreparable damage to his brain cells. she knew his exact condition. she repeated it in her head over and over again until it was engraved in her mind like an oath. she swore to marry him, she swore that she would walk down the isle and meet him at the end. all of those promises had been demolished as a result of the storm.
she was completely numb, like she had novacane all over her body. she felt nothing from the monitor connected to buck had made a deafening beep, that failed to cease. buck was her lifeline, her source of energy and he was gone. he was dead, and there was nothing she could do. she felt like god was laughing at her. making a mockery of her by taking him away from her.
whenever someone hears about the five stages of grief, it’s often in a tv show or somewhere in the media. everyone forgets about it up until the moment of loss. there is no possible way to prepare yourself for the reality that is a smack across the face from heaven.
stage one • denial
bucks side of the bed was cold like the winter breeze in the morning. it was painful to touch, feeling like a sting in the heart. y/n couldn’t stop herself from reaching over to place her hand on him, until her hand confronted the empty sheets below her hand. every single day, she came home from that current distraction to see him, and would spend minutes searching for him. minutes, only to realize that he died.
death is a wild thing. a sick and twisted, but inevitable thing. from the moment a person is born, they’re dying. you cannot prevent death. everyone has different definitions to death.
death
/deTH/
noun
1. the state of being dead
2. the permanent ending of vital processes
3. the action or fact of dying or being killed; the end of the life of a person or organism.
eventually, y/n removed his pillows in avoidance of any reminder of buck. she was practically in hiding from her fiancés state like a wanted person.
stage two • anger
y/n was forced to look in the mirror every day. she had to go to work and look presentable. the only thing she felt was rage. rage for everyone who let this happen. when a person doesn’t have control in their life, stress and fear arise. she couldn’t control what happened to buck. she couldn’t have stopped him from climbing up that ladder. some resentful part of herself wanted it to be her. pissed, she scowls at herself for even falling in love with him.
her life was becoming overcomplicated with the bitterness she had from bucks death. she silently cursed the doctors, when she knew deep down that they did their very best. not everyone can be saved. she swore to the skies, yelping out in agony from the loss of her love.
step three • bargaining
sitting on the dewy grass in front of the headstone, y/n picked the wilting petals off a flower that had grown next to him. she zoned off into a reenactment of the night. buck climbed onto the ladder. the thunder roared. the hoses were turned on. the lightning came down. the lightning brought buck with it.
she wanted to reverse time like a record. she wanted to run up on that ladder and take the strike. she wanted to take the power of electricity and move the strike off his strong, but fragile body. she begged someone, anyone, to turn back the calendar and bring her back to that day. to halt him from speeding up the ladder with his sweet grin and motivated personality. it had been stolen from her grasp before she could even react and scream his name.
some might call it selfish, but she even asked them to take her and bring him back. he was so beyond loved in this world, and he had so much left to do. the fact that she had to give it up and sign the papers was the worst part of it all. she wanted to sneak into the hospital files and erase her stupid signature. the ink that took her best friend away.
step four • depression
chores.
everything in life became a chore. waking up was exhausting. when y/n opened her eyes, she was disappointed, like someone had broken bad news to her. she had been taking time off work, not being able to shake her foggy mind of his face. she stopped getting dressed in the morning. she wore sweatpants and baggy shirts all day. y/n had abandoned herself trying to give her life back to buck. she wanted to live her life for him, but she couldn’t bring herself to leave the house.
the dinners and gifts had been nonstop to her house, being left on her doorstep or knocking to hand it directly. she had been checked on by hen, who was bombarded with the scent of whiskey. she swore she didn’t drink that much too often, just enough to take a little bit of the torment away. the 118 helped her constantly by cleaning her house, putting away gift baskets. she couldn’t bring herself to push away from them. the greatest people in bucks life were the 118. they allowed him to make a home there, and he would despise it if she distanced herself.
stage five • acceptance
beating avoidance is a huge step to accepting someone dying. bucks drawers had been stocked full of his items, his products were spread out on the bathroom counter. his favorite coffee was in the cabinet and his shoes were still by the door.
y/n finally decided to stop the affliction of cleaning his belongings out. she forced herself out of bed and swiped all of his things into a box to bring to the shelters. somehow, she managed to bring the clothes out and take in his refreshing scent. they forever smelt like him the same way her house would be intoxicated with it. no air freshener could cover up the torturing aroma.
she refolded all of the clothes the same way he would’ve liked, placing them on the bed, and into a box. there were so many things that she couldn’t bring herself to donate. his jewelry, his books, his coffee. some part of her was ready to face the reality.
her bare feet stepped onto the balcony, glaring at the orange and yellow sky with hints of pink. buck loved sunsets, and a part of her knew he had put that there for her. you always hear that they’re watching over you, but it sure didn’t feel like it. you want to think that, and maybe it’s a placebo effect. it wasn’t until y/n imagined herself back at the beach with buck, watching the sun cascade below the horizon, that she realized it was true.
the way the color reflected in her eyes reminded her of the way bucks blue eyes shined. the way his perfect teeth had glimmered in the light and even any time he smiled. buck woke up for her every day with a smile on his face. it will never make sense how someone can be so loving to the world around him. it will never make sense how that was stripped from the earth.
death is something that no one can answer. why does it happen and how can you face it? there is no facing death. you will never win. its like a game of pinball, no matter how many shots you take, you lose in the end. the arena falls down around you and the world you thought you knew so well changes completely. you don’t get rid of death and you don’t beat it. you learn to cope with the damage. losing someone is not for the weak or the strong. it’s not for the civilians and not for the superheroes. live for the dead, and portray their strength through you.
y/n’s heart beats for buck. she woke up for him and went to bed with him. she came out of every burning building to be with him and she would fight every single war to have him. there is no changing what’s within her, and he is a part of her now. and that is something death will never be able to take away.

💐How would everyone react to her child looking like a carbon copy of her but it's a boy and got kosiar blonde hair.
🌈Imagen her calling him douma and kosiar accepting it because it's a beautiful name and ask where she got the name from her saying a vision brought her to the name.
💐Every one believing that she is now a actual child of the gods and seeing the little baby douma makes her stronger than ever.
🌈Her and navier children playing together until one day the 3 children get kidnapped by rattrash because she got mad that navier got pregnant and the douma mc also she was her "friend " after all until navier told her lies.
(not that she whoud not do stuff like that she send assassin to kill navies parents and got reveti kidnapped and put in to slavery where she got saved by sovieshit )

🌈Her later on getting her son back and becoming her" jolly "old self again like she didn't make people feel her wrath like nothing happened.
(Dark art dark stories)
Major spoilers for the novel.
Sovieshu
He agreed that what Rashta did was not acceptable by any means, but demanding that the High Priest do a paternity test on the young child and Rashta was not anyway for a Holy Lady to be acting. That was, until the results came in and the child was in fact Rashta’s and Alan Rimwell’s. Then, he demanded that she, her daughter, and Alan do a paternity test and the results came back positive.
The Emperor’s whole world was crashing down around him. You then presented the certificate of Rashta’s slavery, and Soieshu was absolutely furious. It was then that he realized that he was the infertile one between him and Navier, and that’s why they never conceived a child while they were married.
As an act of remorse in the place of his Empress, he made sure that the children were safely returned. Rashta was promptly arrested, and as you and Kosair were holding your son and Navier and Heinrey were holding their twins, Sovieshu judged accordingly and sentenced his wife to death for her crimes.
Rashta
She was jealous that you just got to live your life in peace and joy and she had to suffer for every little thing. So, she sent someone to kidnap your and Navier’s children. What she didn’t know is that those children (even the twins) were the only people who made you forget your past, and once they were gone you were back to your insane self. You were just much more angry.
So, you demanded paternity tests done on both Ian and Glorym, and the results came back with Alan Rimwell being the father and Rashta being the mother. You showed the results as well as the certificate of slavery to the press, and everything she built crumbled. She grew hysteric, and you just laughed.
Once you had your son and Navier’s twins back in your arms, you calmed down a bit. However, Sovieshu was not finished with his wife. Everyone, including herself, knew that she would be tried for each of her crimes. Heinrey and Navier took the children out of the courtroom before the High Priest condemned Rashta to death for the charges against her.
The gasp she let out as she saw your evil smile was one of complete fear. Later, in her cell as she was waiting to be brought out for her execution, you visited her one last time. You whispered to her, “You shouldn’t have stolen my son, you bitch. Maybe you could have continued living a lie”.
Navier
You heard her gasp and scream, and you ran out to see what had happened. Come to find out: the children were gone. You asked her what had happened, and she explained that a man had come in and stolen them and had pushed her down before she could see her face. However, you knew that this was Rashta’s doing (she was the only one who held no respect for you). Thus, your wrath began.
Navier and Heinrey were distraught, but you and Kosair were enraged. You decided to let everything spill out about the Empress of the Eastern Empire. Paternity tests concluded that Glorym was not a valid heiress to the throne because she wasn’t related to Sovieshu. Then, it got out to the people that not only did she have children before marriage, but she also was a slave since you showed the certificate given to you by Viscount Lotteshu.
Eventually, you were able to find the children and get them back (and have a meal, but we don’t need to talk about it). You placed bunches of kisses all over your son’s face, but you knew this wasn’t over. So, you put your son into your sister-in-law’s arms so she could take him out of the courtroom until it was over.
Both you and Navier testified against Rashta in court, and your adoptive father was acting as judge. He still judged impartially, believe it or not. It was the jury that concluded the Empress was guilty of all charges and should be sentenced to death. The High Priest signed the papers, and she was condemned. The children were now safe.
Heinrey
This man was about to wage war with the Eastern Empire until he got his children as well as his nephew back, but you pushed him aside (gently, of course) and said that you would get them back even if you needed to kill someone. You technically did, metaphorically speaking.
He just watched as you quickly wrote to the High Priest before you prepared to leave for the Eastern Empire. You told him to start getting ready as well, as you knew that the current Crown Princess of the E.E. was not Sovieshu’s biological child. You were going to keep it a secret, but Rashta decided to steal your son.
At the dock, the Emperor was standing there with the children. Heinrey was honestly pretty good as long as he knew that Rashta was getting what she deserved for stealing members of the Royal Family, but you wanted to see the Empress dead. So, you opted to stay and let the others go back to the Western Empire.
It wasn’t until you came back that he heard each and every single one of the charges that were pressed against Rashta, and it was all because of you. You did feel bad about Glorym and Ian, since they would never be able to see their mother (in Glorym’s case, again). You told Sovieshu that if the pain ever became too much, he could send the baby girl to you and you would raise her. Heinrey was just surprised that you really exercised the wrath you had to condemn the former mistress to death.
Kosair
Upon finding out that not only were his niece and nephew gone, but also his own son… it’s over. You and him were angry, and understandably so. However, you were much more powerful than he was, so as he was preparing bags for you two to get going, you quickly sent a letter to the High Priest that demanded a paternity test be done on Glorym to see if she was truly Sovieshu’s daughter.
Lo and behold, she wasn’t , and the evidence was used in the trial against Rashta. Navier and Heinrey were sitting with the children on one of the benches in the courtroom as you and Kosair testified against Rashta. It was clear who was going to win, but everyone was entitled to a fair trial.
When the verdict was reached, you grasped onto your husband’s arm as the jury stated the Empress of the Eastern Empire was going to be sentenced to death. Right after everyone was dismissed, you both were finally reunited with Douma and it was the happiest you have ever been before.
Then you had to start the process of sailing back to the Western Empire. One could consider it a cruise with how much everyone relaxed at being with their children once again. But, you became very paranoid, and you hated to leave your son out of sight for even a second. Kosair understood, so he suggested that when you got back home, you both could sleep in the nursery until your fear was conquered.

Now, this Au isn’t a crossover in the typical sense, but more a case of translating Ninjago into the Transformers universe where the characters coexist as transformers on Cybertron, anyway, onwards with the first lore dump covering the war between Primus and Unicron, and the origins of the dragons, Oni, FSM and The Overlord.
So, like all things, we begin at the beginning, anyway, Primus was created by the Source Dragons to fill a newly born universe with life, and to aid him in this mission, they created the dragons, powerful robotic lifeforms who possessed the four elements of creation. Now, Primus possessed creation and every elemental power, and he used this power to bring life and order to the universe as a benevolent god.
However, for every equal, there must be an opposite, and from the depths of a blackhole, Unicron emerged as a being of destruction, a dark god who sought to end all life and bring about an eternal reign of chaos. To aid him in this effort, he twisted the concept of the dragons into his own image, creating the Oni, robotic demons who possessed the powers of destruction.
Now, these two beings would wage a war against one another, and partway through this war, The First Spinjitzu Master would be created by an Oni and Dragon. Primus saw the noble intentions this lifeform had in his spark and bestowed to him every elemental power. (Except those that were introduced in Dragons Rising alongside wind and water and off course darkness.)
Anyway, Unicron feared the FSM, even more so after he created Spinjitzu, so in response this threat, Unicron poured all his malice, darkness and evil into a single new being, and created The Overlord. Now The Overlord, just as he did in the show, matched the FSM in power, resulting in him creating his indestructible army from a rare material, the Stone Army.
Primus, seeing how the FSM was struggling, sought to create a way to end the war, and so he consolidated his powers and created the Thirteen, the first Primes. With the aid of the Thirteen, the FSM was able to defeat The Overlord and with the craftsmanship of Solus Prime, created a prison to contain his opposite while Vector Prime froze the Stone Army in time.
With The Overlord gone, Unicron was defeated swiftly, for the might of the Thirteen, the dragons and the FSM proved far greater than he or his Oni servants could withstand, it didn’t help matters that two Oni had betrayed him. Anyway, following this, the FSM wished to bestow elemental powers to the Thirteen, but at the thirteenths bidding, twelve of them refused with only Solus Prime accepting such a gift and become the first elemental master of fire, an element which she used in tandem with her creation lathe to forge many relics.
Yeah, so I’ll lore dump about each character in either pairs or individuals depending on the character, I’ll probably collect my scattered notes on Kai and Nya and do them first.

Hello, my lovely followers, moots, and that one person who consumes my content ravenously. I bring to you a tasty offering of updates with Bianca Moore and the FWC that has changed with Rebirth. Some of these I already had the groundwork for, but I developed them further: such as the string of fate and the scar.
Sephiroth's motives:
His motives remains the same as he stated in Advent Children rewrite of Bia's character, but with a slight Rebirth twist to them. He wants to amass all sorts of power for the following reason: He wants to become like Jenova and ride the husk of Gaia together with her and Bianca by merging with the Planet's Lifestream, taking control of it and the Planet. He wants to go from planet to planet and dimension to dimension now doing the same thing, until they find a planet where he can remake it into a vision that suits Bianca, Jenova, and himself. To do this, he wants to make sure that he succeeds this time around and, as I said, gather as much power as possible.
Also, after this, he wants to destroy Asmodeus, the Celestial Realm, and the Abyssal Realm for what they did to Bianca on Earth. She basically has an obsessive god-like boyfriend or mate who is hell-bent on protecting her, even if it means going scorched earth.
Likes / Hobbies / Unique Quirks
Likes: ancient artifacts, beautiful fabrics (silk), black bribing others, cosmic phenomena (stars, nebulae, and rifts), deep conversations, dramatic fashion, flight, forbidden books, memories of her past loves, mysterious ruins, preening her wings, romantic gestures, Sephiroth, Sephiroth’s feathers, Sephiroth’s voice, solitude, swordplay, winter
Hobbies: analyzing battle strategies, astronomical observation, bribing people, collecting ancient relics, customizing her swords with trinkets, dueling, enhancing her beauty routine, exploring ruins, experimenting with new spells, flying at night, grooming her wings (with Sephiroth), hoarding Sephiroth’s feathers, improving her ability and skills, indulging in luxurious baths, manipulating dreams, meditation, preforming rituals, seeing to Sephiroth’s reforming body, preparing potions, shaping temporal spells, singing softly, sparring with Sephiroth (both find it thrilling and intimate), studying forbidden texts, and telepathic games (often teasing Sephiroth with silent thoughts)
Unique Quirks: A blood-red manicure (with sharp stiletto nails), bribes with food, indigo eyes with feline-like pupils reflecting Jenova’s influence, Changing body wash to match seasons, collecting Sephiroth’s feathers, dangerous smile to charm and disarm others, dual nature (celestial and demonic urges), emotionally dramatic displays, feline-like grace (swift and agile), habit of biting her lower lip (in plotting or thought), Hojo’s experiments have left a scar on her body that she will not heal until he is dead and her and Sephiroth’s destiny is fullfilled, laughs softly in battle (unnerves her opponents), listens to Sephiroth’s heartbeat, long, prehensile tongue, obsession with Sephiroth and always keeps something of his nearby, predatory, feminine walk, seductive aura (succubi nature), sharp fangs, sings lullabies to herself, staring into space (as she thinks about the Eternal Nexus, the dimension outside of space and time), telepathic bond with Sephiroth that allows them both to feel each other’s pain and emotions and hear each other’s thoughts, touches Sephiroth’s arms when they are close, whispered incantations (often heard in battle as she summons the cosmos to defend herself), indigo tipped wings as a result of her infusion with Jenova and S-cells
Personality:
Her personality oscillates between impulsive, dramatic reactions and manipulative behaviors, reflecting her struggles with histrionic tendencies. Despite her darker traits, she possesses moments of profound loyalty. Bianca’s journey involves navigating the complexities of her emotional world while grappling with her inner demons and enduring relationships, often leaving a trail of turmoil in her wake.
Red String of Fate:
The Red Thread of Fate is a visible and emotional bond connecting Bianca and Sephiroth, wrapping around their wrists in delicate heart-shaped patterns. It only shows up when they are close together. It glows in response to their emotions, intensifying when they experience strong feelings such as love, doubt, or fear. The thread allows them to feel each other’s pain, dulling the sensation for the injured and amplifying it for the other, while also enabling telepathic communication. Through this connection, they can sense each other's emotions and hear internal thoughts, creating an unspoken and deep understanding between them. The thread symbolizes their eternal link and influences their actions, emotions, and fates.
Surgical Scar
Bianca's surgical scar is a permanent reminder of the brutal vivisection she endured at the hands of Hojo and Diana Ravenscroft. The scar, a twisting purple mark starting at her right side and circling her belly button, represents her traumatic fall from Grace. Despite her demonic regeneration abilities, she consciously chooses to keep the scar as a symbol of her survival and the pain she experienced. The scar marks the procedure where her organs were manipulated, her body infused with Jenova and S-cells, and her blood was siphoned to slow down the degradation of the SOLDIERs while kept in Mako containment. It forever altered her physically and emotionally.

Mukuro Ikusaba VS Kaede Kayano [Danganronpa Survivor VS Assassination Classroom]
[NOTE: This is a scheduled post.]
Hifumi: Kaede Kayano, the tentacled terror from Assassination Classroom!
Leona: And Mukuro Ikusaba...The sixteenth student, lying hidden somewhere in this school. The one they call the Ultimate Despair!
Hifumi: ...
Leona: Oh yes I did...Oh YES I did...
Hifumi: Ahem...Never underestimate just how far some people are willing to go to protect or avenge the people they care about. Be it their family or their friends...Their sisters or the one's they love...
Leona: Apparently, choosing to stop dying your hair is one thing those people do! He's Hifumi and I'm Leona!
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, talents and skills, to see who will win a DEATH BATTLE!
Leona: Take your seats folks...We're about to get into one of the most complicated histories of our line of characters right from the god damn start...
Hifumi: To get started though, as we've explained many times previously, and will most certainly explain many times in the future of this series, Ultimate Students are those scouted by Ultimate Academy's, like Hope's Peak, because they excel in a certain area of expertise. And for Mukuro Ikusaba, that area just so happened to be military conflict and terrorism! And would eventually be crowned with the title of the ULTIMATE SOLDIER!
Leona: When she was a very young age, the quiet, and rather notably deranged girl, Mukuro Ikusaba, took a keen interest in this career path. She won survival game tournaments and writing for militaristic magazines. She eventually decided to CHOOSE a life of conflict, pain and tragedy, and joined up with the infamous elite mercenary group known as Fenrir, symbolized by the symbol of a wild howling wolf. Funny 'cause...most people are kind of forced into that stuff...Hey, I never actually met Mukuro. Makoto talked a lot about her, but what's her deal?
Hifumi: Well, when looking at Mukuro Ikusaba's history, a very important thing to keep in mind is that she is the twin sister, and for the longest time, closest compatriot and aide, to the Ultimate Despair, Junko Enoshima. Imagine how twisted you could become when having someone like THAT joined at the hip with you...Figuratively speaking, of course. The girls spent a few years together homeless on the streets, but then didn't see each other for the longest time until middle school, as Mukuro went off to join Fenrir.
Leona: And how did that work out for her?
Hifumi: Well, suffice to say that when Hope's Peak finally scouted her, that talent was rightfully earned. Being quite possibly the most powerful superhuman soldier in history, Ms Ikusaba had a completely spotless record when it came to battles. And when I say spotless, I MEAN SPOTLESS. According to her school profile, during her three years with Fenrir, she never once received a scratch or wound on the battlefield. In fact, this was a damning piece of evidence in the Final Trial of the First Killing Game to prove that she and her sister were not the same person.
Leona: Plus, as a result of her passion, her training and her skills, unlike our previous combatant, she was BORN a FIGHTER. She is naturally capable and powerful, and has a thorough understanding of all firearms and explosives, ranging from pistols, rifles, RPG's, machine guns, and even nuclear bombs, marking her territory as one of the most deadly fighters in our universe. She can use all of the following with deadly accuracy and aptitude. Even aside from that, she never goes anywhere without her trusty combat knife; a tool that allows her wrangle with any enemy and tear them to shreds! Like Kuripa's sword! But smaller...Actually, when you think about it, that's really what a sword is! Just a very big knife!
Hifumi: But a knife is equally as deadly, especially when in the hands of Mukuro Ikusaba. She's arguably as proficient, if not more, in hand-to-hand blade combat that Kuripa is.
Leona: And lastly, she's also a master in medicine, ammo and defense mechanisms. She even...Um...Wait, hang on a second...Am I reading this right!? She has BULLETPROOF PANTIES!?
Hifumi: Indeed! Her undergarments are made of sturdy enough fibers that bullets and blades can't scratch them! Yor Forger probably needs to take lessons.
Leona: How do you even...?
Hifumi: That's for me to NOT know and you to NEVER find out. But even in a hypothetical scenario where she DOESN'T have her weapons by her side, anything the Ultimate Soldier touches could become the exact tool she needs to assert her dominance. For example, in Danganronpa IF...
Leona: What's that?
Hifumi: Alternate timeline where she turned to the good side a lot earlier than she did in our universe, you don't need to worry too much about it.
Leona: Hold on. If it's an alternate timeline, are we really allowed to take it into account.
Hifumi: Technically...no? But the truth is we don't have much information of Ms Ikusaba's early capabilities within our own world. However, source materials have stated her power and capabilities are the same in both canons. Besides, Ms Ikusaba has displayed similar feats in the current timeline, so there's proof of that; so I think we can count it here.
Leona: Well I'm not gonna argue so long as it makes the fight better.
Hifumi: As I was saying, in Danganronpa IF, Mukuro is forced to fight against an army of Monokumas, and she defeats them armed with nothing but the pole of an IV as an improvised polearm. Not nearly as effective as a real one, but still deadly enough simply because SHE'S the one wielding it.
Leona: And that's barely even scratching the surface of her strength, speed and power. She's so incredibly combatively, she's wrangled and matched numerous other Ultimate Students or people of similar power and capability, including Sakura Ogami, Peko Pekoyama, The Madarai Brothers, Yukari Koime, and possibly even stronger opponents...Though her limit seems to come in the form of Hajime Hinata/Izuru Kamukura. But come on, what do you expect? That guy outmatches EVERYONE.
Hifumi: This is possible due to an innate ability Mukuro Ikusaba possesses called her "Battle Trance." While capable on her own without even having weapons, armor or anything else by her side, Ms Ikusaba can also enter this state eerily similar to that of Son Goku's Ultra Instinct state from Dragon Ball Super. When she's in this stance, she becomes one with the battlefield around her, and her perception of the flow of time nearly comes to a stop. It's impossible to catch Ms Ikusaba off-guard in this state and sneak attacks are completely impossible. Stated in her own words, it's like "every inch of her skin gets covered with eyes that analyze everything going on all around her."
Leona: That's...creepy...Cool but...creepy...
Hifumi: This is the former one half of the despair sisters we're talking about her. And she's the less crazy half. Ms Ikusaba's speed in the Battle Stance state becomes HYPERSONIC. She can run so fast that it appears she's teleporting, can effortlessly dodge military grade turrets while fighting a hundred Monokumas without so much as losing focus or batting an eye from her target, can easily defuse a nuclear bomb before it hits the ground, dodge a point-blank explosion, and can travel from Japan to Prague in only a couple of seconds!
Leona: Ok, that's all well and good, but that last one feels a little odd compared to the rest.
Hifumi: Even more odd than disarming a mid-air nuclear bomb or dodging bullets?
Leona: The Matrix and Top Gun had desensitized me to that kind of stuff, and I kind of expect it from a super powerful soldier/spy. Running at the speed of The Flash or Sonic the Hedgehog seems a little...out of place is all.
Hifumi: Well, the canonicity of that one is questionable at best. Still though, it's undeniable that she's overpowered. In terms of power scaling, Mukuro Ikusaba and Sakura Ogami-
Leona: i.e. The woman who's widely considered to be the strongest human on earth, has won 400 martial art matches in a row and was easily able to knock out Genocide Jack who has her fair share of superhuman and ridonkulous feats, including slicing missiles apart mid-air.
Hifumi: -are almost dead even, with any discrepancies leaving Sakura ever so slightly stronger. However, that gap in power is so minimal, it might as well not exist. In fact, in several points of time, the two HAVE fought. Though these days it is mostly casual sparring practices, during the IF timeline, they did have a serious fight where Sakura tried to restrain Mukuro so the 78th Class could question her.
Leona: According to the information I have here, that fight lasted for around 10 minutes and was so intense that it caused the gym they fought in to quake with the pressure. Not only that, but Mukuro was handicapped in that fight. With Makoto Naegi having been rendered unconscious after being stabbed with the Spears of Gung-Hang on a second! Why didn't we mention the fact that Makoto survived this execution in our previous analysis!?
Hifumi: Well, we don't really NEED to. Makoto was left unconscious and bleeding profusely due to that execution. He only survived it because his Ultimate Luck prevented the spears from damaging any internal organs.
Leona: Fine, whatever, this is only semi-canon anyway. As I was saying, she had an unconscious Makoto dangling in her arms the entire time and Mukuro was still able to end the fight and escape by causing a quick distraction.
Hifumi: Ms Ikusaba also defeated Peko Pekoyama with her knife in a swordfight, survived a casual blow from Izuru Kamukura, who can casually destroy steel walls and sink 41 battleships by himself, and killed all 8 Madarai brothers with brute force alone, all of whom are separately strong enough to break down walls with their own raw strength.
Leona: And remember what we said earlier about Mukuro taking on 100 Monokuma's alone? Let's go back to that for a second, since that's one of her earliest, most impressive feats.
Hifumi: It's important to keep in mind that taking out this version of Monokuma is a BIG DEAL. You've no doubt seen us fight Monokuma's and Kerokuma's and everything in between, but there is a big difference in power between the Monokuma sentries shown in Survivor and Ultra Despair Girls, and the Monokuma's from the main Killing Games, 1, 2 and V3.
Leona: Killing Game Monokuma is equally as capable of matching Sakura Ogami blow for blow. They're shown having a toe-to-toe battle, in which the bear is easily able to keep pace with her. In the case of Mukuro who had to fight hundreds of these things at once, while ALSO dodging machine gun fire, she took all of them out in a SINGLE HIT EACH, launching some of them into the air!
Hifumi: Monokuma's suspected weight, based on his size and make, is about 15kg. If we calculated it, the amount of energy you would need to use THAT much strength at THAT much speed would require an energy equivalent to between 30 to 90 kilotons of TNT.
Leona: And to top it all off, she's hella sturdy too! Monokuma claimed that Mukuro could have possibly survived The Ultimate Punishment; the death trap that killed her sister Junko, which involved feats such as being electrocuted with enough force to liquefy, being hit by speeding trucks while being burned alive, getting hit by countless baseballs at machine-gun rate of fire, pounded by a bulldozer, sent into space and forcefully brought down again, all before dying under a crusher.
Hifumi: See, the thing about that is that it's not consistent. Mukuro's power and speed are naturally always that above every other person around her, but in terms of defensive capabilities and survivability, it's not certain whether Monokuma's claim holds water. For example, Mukuro possesses enough vitality to survive Yukari Koime's knife straight to the heart long enough for her to get medical help and slip into hiding. However, the knife pierced her skin easily and rendered her innate abilities damaged. Same applies to when Junko caught her off-guard and killed her the first time around using the Spears of Gungnir.
Leona: Wait, hold on a second. What actually ARE these "Spears of Gungnir?"
Hifumi: Regrettably, being the sister and most trusted ally of the most evil woman in every universe doesn't render you safe from her antics. And it's because of Junko herself that Mukuro's weaknesses really start to come to the surface. Her biggest flaw is that despite her prowess, power and almost unrivalled danger, she's little more than an emotionally abused young lady, that has barely any autonomy of her own. In fact, based on our old information, due to Junko abusing her older twin sister both verbally and physically, it got to the point that she found pleasure whenever Junko insulted her, seeing it as her loving little sister acknowledging her presence.
Leona: Wow...That's a YIKES!
Hifumi: It's not only Ms Ikusaba's emotional stern nature and maturity that gets severely diminished by her sister. Her skills as a solider are also halted in their entirety by Enoshima playing on her emotions. It was in fact Junko who betrayed and killed Mukuro in the canon timeline with the Spears of Gungnir, a trap designed to use Mukuro's loyalty against her.
Leona: But...that's not how things are anymore, is it? She came back to life and...changed, right?
Hifumi: Well...yes...and also no. See, when the Future Foundation discovered these special machines that could revive people from the dead, they used it to resurrect those that had died in the First Killing Game, and give them a second chance at life; of which included myself, and also Ms Ikusaba.
Leona: But wasn't it established by this point that Mukuro was dangerous?
Hifumi: Yes, and naturally, everyone was very opposed to the idea of bringing her and her sister back to life...That is everyone except for the ever kind Makoto Naegi. He was the only one who saw more to Ikusaba than simply being a terrorist nutjob, and saw that there was still an emotionally damaged girl underneath that was repressed as a result of Junko's cruelty. He figured that because she had never had a chance to experience the feeling of Hope over her life, she didn't know how it felt, nor did she understand the true weight of her actions.
Leona: So he figured that if he gave her a taste of that stuff, she could be reformed?
Hifumi: And lo and behold, he was right. Curious to see where things would go, Mukuro accepted the offer to reform, and her vision on life became clear. She saw the world's beauty and natural power, instead of the military power and despair-ridden view her sister had painted over her eyes. It took some time, but eventually, she became the greatest friend and classmate that we needed her to be...
Leona: It's amazing how that all worked out so well.
Hifumi: I agree. Though looking back, it most likely had to do with Ms Ikusaba's attachment TO Mr Naegi that served as the crux. She may be an unstoppable force in war, but a rather weak foundation in love. It was even stated in prior documents that Makoto's smile was enough to gift Ms Ikusaba interest in the world outside of her dedication to Junko. However, despite choosing to join the good side for the sake of her crush, not everything about her changed.
Leona: I think I see where this is going. Even though Mukuro's Despair focus disappeared, her need to be of use to others didn't. Though he was fighting for the complete opposite ideal, Makoto basically took Junko's place as that figurehead.
Hifumi: Mr Naegi obviously never abused Ms Ikusaba like Junko did. He'd rather jump into a ditch and let himself rot away and die before he ever tried to hurt her. But without someone to fall back on, Ms Ikusaba is an indifferent would-be killer who doesn't feel any sadistic pleasure when killing her victims in battle, and a socially awkward girl out of touch with her emotions that hide her uncertainty under a very well reserved personality. Which wouldn't be a problem if that didn't cause her endless emotional stress and repressed anxiety.
Leona: And WITH someone to fall back on, like Junko or Makoto, she's a spiritually broken, basically masochist of a girl that does whatever she's to do with no questions asked, be it aiding in a scheme that would cause the entire world to go bonkers with Despair, or saving the same world with the power of friendship, passion and Hope. Even after her switch to the light of Hope, just mentioning Junko's name or seeing her visage can cause Ms Ikusaba to enter a state of PTSD that she's unable to break out of without support.
Hifumi: These feelings of companionship, while helping to make Ms Ikusaba a more approachable and dependable person, GREATLY diminish her aptitude as a soldier. While still undeniably capable, Ms Ikusaba is more willing to take risks for the sake of others, some of which land her in a lot of trouble.
Leona: For example, she turned her back on the Future Foundation to aid Makoto Naegi when he was forced on the run. She was willing to mentor and teach Maki Harukawa, despite barely knowing her. And as we said already, she almost sacrificed her life for Kuripa Kurafto, by taking a deadly knife for him straight to her heart. It was only because of her unrivalled vitality, as well as some mysterious outside help that she even survived. But these newfound feelings didn't make Mukuro weak. Instead, they gave her a NEW kind of strength. The kind to never give up, even when life puts you through the ringer over and over again, and to pursue what matters to you. Chasing a dream has never felt so important.
Hifumi: As an Ultimate Despair, Mukuru Ikusaba is a tool of destruction, mercilessly cutting down any foe that comes her way and putting everyone to shame. As an Ultimate Hope, she is an unlikely hero who struggles every day to protect what she loves and stand for what she believes in. Regardless of where she stands, or what timeline she follows, whether she lives or whether she dies, the wolf-shaped mark of the Ultimate Soldier will continue looming over us for now and forever.
Hifumi: Kunugigaoka Junior High School is a HELL ON EARTH for Class 3-E, the end class of the academy. It's infamously filled with rejects, losers, and people who aren't expected to amount to anything in society. As of such, the students in said class are berated, bullied, and belittled by EVERYONE.
Leona: With the tacit approval, and in fact MOTIVATION of GETTING RID of these kids. These students were brought together for the sole purpose of fulfilling Chairman Asano's educational value of his variation of the 20:20:60 worker ant ratio, a social science which states that 20% of people are exceptional, 20% of people are worthless, and the other 60% are ordinary-Oh god that's a lot of numbers...*gag* Ahem...Long story short, the class exists purely as a punishment for students who let their grades fall below a certain threshold, and the chairman goes out of his way to prevent ANY of these students from succeeding academically. What a jeeeerk!
Hifumi: And I thought HOPE'S PEAK was oppressive! But anyway, the lives of this classroom changed dramatically on the day something bewildering happened. The moon was DESTROYED, with only 30% of it's overall mass left drifting in space!
Leona: Not long after, Class E were paid a visit by a STRAAAAANGE creature: who claimed HE was the one who destroyed the moon, and would eventually destroy the world...if the class didn't stop him first!
Hifumi: And that was how the game first began! The class tried everything they could to murder the monster that would eventually become known as Korosensei. Aside from wanting to protect the earth they live on, many of these students all had their own unique motivations for killing him, though most of them mainly consisted of making money from a hit, restoring the hierarchy to normal, or sticking it to the society that made them out to be weak...However, ONE person in particular stood out among the rabble...
Leona: Kaede Kayano...Or more accurately, Akari Yukimura, the younger sister of the very reason why the yellow octopus bastard was even here in the first place!
Hifumi: Akari Yukimura was a child prodigy when it came to acting. Though it was a fairly lonely life, she was still glad to have the company of her older sister Aguri, Class 3-E's homeroom teacher. They had a rather pleasant life, except for one little thing...
Leona: Aguri was the fiancé of one Kotaro Yanagisawa, a complete and total douchebag human and a mad scientist, who made her work as his lab assistant. On one fateful day off of her acting career, little Akari came to visit her sister at the institute where she worked, when suddenly... KABOOM!
Hifumi: The building exploded! And when Akari finally got inside and found her sister, her dead body was lying at the foot of this mysterious and conniving looking monster, which then proceeded to take off while leaving a note behind, claiming he was the one who killed Agari.
Leona: As you might have already guessed, that monster, known at the time as "The Reaper" would eventually take the form of Korosensei himself. Fueled with a burning desire for revenge, Akari chased Korosensei to the school, dyed her hair green, took up a new name, and joined Class E as a transfer student to help them with their shared goal of killing Korosensei. She even went as far as to become protagonist Nagisa Shiota's "sidekick" of sorts as to not draw attention to herself.
Hifumi: Through her determination and drive for vengeance, Akari Yukimura, now Kaede Kayano, set about training to enact her revenge against the monster that took her sister from her. Like all the other students in the class, the government who put out the hit on Korosensei provided her with her own arsenal of weapons, including, but not limited to, M1911A1 Pistols, M4 Carbines, smoke bombs, poisons and explosives. Not to mention a special uniform made from a unique cloth, which allows her to easily camouflage, resist shocks and burns and hardens in response to strong physical trauma.
Leona: Like NANOMACHINES, SON!
Hifumi: Wrong series! But effectively, it means that so long as she has the special uniform on hand, she can't be wounded by knives, and she has the durability and force resistance of a solid wall.
Leona: Speaking of knives, it should be noted that combat knives appear to be the weapon which Kayano is most proficient in. And this is mainly because her small size makes it very easy for her to run circles around opponents with similarly high agility, stamina and precision, which includes Hinata Okano, a speedy and athletic gymnastic prodigy, and even the ever-powerful Korosensei. And given that Korosensei can reach speeds of Mach 20-
Hifumi: Which by the way, would allow him to completely run around all of planet Earth in approximately 3 hours and 12 minutes!
Leona: THAT'S not something to sneeze at!
Hifumi: Not only is she fast, agile and perceptive by nature, Ms Kayano is a master of several unique styles of fighting, like Judo, Sumo, Aikido and several others, all of which culminate into one to make her obscenely deadly. Her raw strength allows her to completely obliterate a shelf full of heavy trophies and take out a trained mercenary with a knee to the head.
Leona: But the deadliest skill in Akari's arsenal for a large portion of her series was the innate talent she was born with. A lot of the students of Class E were able to take their natural talents and apply them in their killing methodology, like how Chiba was able to become a really good sniper due to his fascination with angles and mathematics. But Kayano's special talent, as we already mentioned, is her ACTING.
Hifumi: Among all his other insane powers, Korosensei has the ability to perceive one's true thoughts like he's reading their mind; an ability that has allowed him to constantly foil Class E's traps to kill him. However, Ms Kayano's innate ability to play a role and deceive any audience she comes across rendered the overpowered octopus's ability...COMPLETELY USELESS!
Leona: Kaede's ultimate goal was to lie in wait, observe Korosensei's movements and find a way to take him out for good, and initially, she had this tunnel-vision focused only on putting this murderous monster to rest...But the more time she spent with the rejected class, the more at home she started to feel. She gained many friends, close acquaintances and began to have more fun than she'd ever had during her lonely life as a prodigy, with just her sister as company. She even ended up falling in love with Nagisa, and saw a side of Korosensei that she thought was very respectable. However...it wasn't going to last forever...
Hifumi: Turns out the reason Korosensei was on the scene of Aguri Yukimura's murder is that he was captured and used as human test subject in an experiment of Yanisagawa's, her fiancé. The goal of Yanagisawa's experiments was to create anti-matter without massive energy requirements by generating it in a living body. When antimatter particles and regular matter particles come into contact with each other, they annihilate one another, leaving behind pure energy, which results in an explosion that NOTHING can survive. (As seen in DB's official episode Frieza Vs Megatron)
Leona: It's this exact science that triggered the REAL reason the moon blew up! Concerned with what would happen to the anti-matter cells if the living host were to age and die, Yanisagawa injected a mouse with the same cells as Korosensei, and sent it in a capsule to the moon to observe any changes. The result was catastrophic. As soon as the mouse died, the cells began to multiply and turn into matter. This mixed with the anti-matter of the moon and caused a giant explosion that almost destroyed the entire thing, leaving it as a permanent crescent.
Hifumi: Why are we bringing all this up you may ask? Well, the truth is Korosensei was injected with a special serum that changed his body to better house the antimatter inside him, which gave him his tentacles and his cartoonish yellow form. And as part of her plan to get revenge and kill him, Ms Kayano took this same serum and implanted herself with these SAME TENTACLES!
Leona: THIS is Kaede Kayano's DEADLIEST weapon! Pure antimatter and all the strengths that come with it reside on the tentacles in the back of her neck, and she can move and attack with them at above hypersonic speeds. In addition to this, the tentacles come with abilities like secreting a special mucus to counter their weakness to water, regeneration on a cellular level, the power to melt metal, and even set them on FIRE!
Hifumi: That last ability actually comes from the high temperature caused by the metabolic abnormality that happens to tentacle transplant recipients. Her body temperature is very high, and by channeling all that excess energy into her tentacles, she can light them on fire.
Leona: The tentacles only serve to boost Akari's power to an insane level, which makes her almost undefeatable coupled with the abilities she possesses as a regular human. She, as well as her classmates, have shown that they're able to tank explosions up to 2 tons of TNT, possibly several times that with all their special gear and training.
Hifumi: With the tentacles, we can scale Ms Kayano to another tentacle wielder, Itona Horibe, who was able to destroy tanks, jet fighters and demolish buildings all by himself. As a matter of fact, when Ms Kayano's true nature was revealed, Mr Horibe blatantly stated that "she's far stronger than I ever was."
Leona: But it's not all sunshine and rainbows...Not that it really was ever...According to Korosensei, and this was also shown with Itona, if human flesh hosts the power of tentacle cells, they get tortured by a nightmarish rejection response from their body that, if not consistently cared for with the right treatments, will cause them to die from madness in up to 3 days! And how long did Kaede Kayano have these in for?
Hifumi: AROUND A WHOLE YEAR! The energy required to keep Mr Horibe in check for so long required energy of around 665,407.77 Megawatts, tantamount to the average energy of 3 thermal power plants! Yet Ms Kayano showed no signs of any pain, nor did she ever falter, despite constantly in a state of slowly dying for such a long time!
Leona: Not just that, but the tentacles also took over Kayano's mind and body, since they're fueled by her lust for blood and desire to kill. In a suspiciously Doctor Octopus kind of way, when she began to have doubts about herself and her revenge plan, they did just that, and turned her into a bloodthirsty insane maniac of a girl.
Hifumi: And as we've already mentioned before, using her tentacles, Ms Kayano was able to match Korosensei blow for blow, and damn near killed him! Korosensei, who by the time the class fought the Grim Reaper, another powerful assassin who shared a code name with the original Korosensei, was capable of dodging a laser that he didn't notice until it was fired at him, blocked point-blank beams of light by kicking up some dirt, and created a tornado powerful enough to part the clouds as wide as a mountain! Throughout their whole confrontation, Ms Kayano had him on the defensive, and completely overwhelmed him.
Leona: The downside was that while she was fighting him, the tentacles were on the cusp of killing Kaede herself. In order to rescue both Kaede AND Korosensei, those tenta-bitches HAD to go! Fortunately, Nagisa was able to save her...With the power of a true love's kiss! ...I-I'm not joking by the way, that's ACTUALLY what happened.
Hifumi: With the tentacles gone, the pain subsided and now able to learn the truth about her sister and her weird octopus lover, Kaede gave up her aspirations for revenge and officially turned to the side of good. She was able to live the life she wanted with her friends, her now possibly-more-than crush, and her beloved sensei...But remember what I just said about there being another Grim Reaper assassin? Yeah, so long as he was around, the peace wasn't gonna last.
Leona: By the way, if the feat of living a whole year in intense agony and surviving attacks from Korosensei was somehow not enough to prove Kaede's insurmountable level of stamina, she's also survived an uppercut from this Grim Reaper, who destroyed a room filled up with stone through a casual kick, and created a huge crater in the ground, both of which would have had a max energy output equal to at least 2.44 tons of TNT.
Hifumi: And this was AFTER the tentacles were gone, i.e. her greatest weapon. In order to protect her friends, her teacher and everyone she held dear, Ms Kayano sacrificed her life in the battle against the Reaper.
Leona: From start to finish, Kaede Kayano and Korosensei were tied together by a strange tentacle of faith, and their story ended when Korosensei gave up both his previous life, as well as bringing back hers by regenerating her on a cellular level, allowing her to spend the rest of her days in peace.
Hifumi: As a girl, Kaede Kayano was willing to sacrifice her life and her future if it meant destroying a monster from her past...But now, she stands for her own future...
Leona: Once she decides on something, she moves straight towards it. That's just how she is~
Hifumi: And with that, the combatants are set! It's time we end this debate once and for all!
LEONA: IT'S TIME FOR A DEEAAATH BAAATTLLLLLLEEE!
The scene opens in a second-floor Japanese apartment home. With a group of Branch 14 soldiers behind her. They surround the door and Mukuro makes a signal with her hands. The soldiers all nod and she kicks open the apartment door, weapons at the ready.
Mukuro: ...
Despite the heavy force, there is little sign of anybody home. However, Mukuro is still able to sense a presence.
Mukuro: Akari Yukimura AKA Kaede Kayano, correct? Former student of Kunugigaoka Junior High School? I'm Mukuro Ikusaba, Future Foundation 14th Division. Would you be so kind as to come out of hiding?
Kayano: What do the Future Foundation want with me?
The soldiers are alerted by the sound of a voice, yet can't see glean where it's coming from. Mukuro doesn't seem phased.
Mukuro: A few years ago, you were at the center of an incident involving the antimatter tentacles experiment. Our division was tasked to investigate.
Kayano: Those tentacles were removed a long time ago. You've wasted your time.
Mukuro: Perhaps...But...it's common fact that octopi can regenerate their limbs if they get cut off...Please, just come with us...
Kayano: ...!
Mukuro: ...!?
youtube
Kayano suddenly appears from behind a doorway and opens by throwing a grenade straight at the Future Foundation. Mukuro parries the grenade, but it explodes, blasting her accompanying soldiers back.
Kayano: Get out! Or it'll be more than jacket that gets a little dirty!
Kayano, though acting condescending, quickly becomes displeased as Mukuro pushes through the cloud of smoke, slipping off her charred jacket and unholstering an MP5-K from her back.
Mukuro: No need to worry...If this is coming to blows, I'll just sew myself a new one with your SKIN...!
Mukuro grabs her firearm and and opens fire upon Kayano. The ex-assassin dives through a doorway for cover. As Mukuro halts fire, she pokes back round again to shoot her with a pistol. Mukuro however, easily slides out of the way of her bullets.
Mukuro: Hi...
Kayano: Go AWAY!
Mukuro: Tch!
*SHING!*
Kayano unholsters a combat knife from underneath her skirt and tries to stab Mukuro, but Mukuro pulls out one of her own and blocks the blade. Kayano tries to attack again, but Mukuro grabs her arm, swings her into the wall and kicks her in the chest, the force which is enough to break the wall itself down, bringing the fight into the apartments kitchen.
Kayano: Ngh! Gragh!
Mukuro: Hmph!
Kayano quickly jumps back onto her feet and spars with Mukuro, the two of them clashing blades. However, it isn't long before Mukuro's strength is able to overwhelm Kayano's, and she knocks the assassin off balance, flourishing her combat knife for a finishing blow.
Kayano: Eh!?
Mukuro: RYAGH!
*CLINK!*
Kayano: ...
Mukuro: ...
*CLINK!* *CLINK!* *CLINK!*
Mukuro tries to run her knife through Kayano, but it just bounces off her.
Mukuro: Huh...That...usually works-
Kayano: HIYAGH!
Mukuro: GUH!
Kayano flip kicks Mukuro backwards, then tears off her shirt to reveal her reinforced PE uniform underneath.
Mukuro: Ah...That explains a lot...You came PREPARED...!
Kayano: BUHAGH!
Even though her blade can't cut through her chest, Mukuro is still able to land a heavy hit with her fists, knocking Kayano back.
Mukuro: What's the matter? Feeling out of your element?
Kayano: You don't want this fight...!
Mukuro: I don't...But I DO want what it's going to bring out...!
Kayano whips out an M4 Carbine and hails bullets on the Ultimate Soldier. In a flash, Mukuro breaks off the door to the fridge and uses it as a makeshift shield to block the fire. As soon as Kayano has to pause to reload, she throws the door at the green-haired girl. Kayano avoids the door by flipping to the side.
Kayano: Huh!?
Mukuro: ...
*BOOOOM!*
However, just as she lands, Mukuro, without showing any expression or remorse or caring, suddenly pulls out an RPG, and aims it at her. Kayano rolls out of the way of the rocket as she fires, and braces for impact as the rocket explodes! The apartment is blown to smithereens and a large gaping hole is left in the side of the building. Kayano herself it flung back and smashes into the wall.
Kayano: HNNGH!
Mukuro: Too easy...
Kayano: UHUGH! OOF! AAAGGH!?
She doesn't stay down for long. She lunges straight at Mukuro by flying at her through the hole made with her body earlier. Mukuro reads this attack a mile away, parries Kayano's blade hand with her fist, then trips her over and throws her into the wall. Mukuro then grabs Kayano by the scruff of her clothes and throws her through the large window onto the roof of the building next door. Mukuro gets a run up and leaps out after her, rolling onto the roof.
Mukuro: Ah...!? Where did she...?
Kayano: ...!
Mukuro: !!?
Upon landing, Mukuro loses sight of Kayano, and she barely reacts in time as the assassin appears behind her. Having used her uniform to camouflage, Mukuro just barely catches her wrist as she thrusts at her with her knife. The speed is more than the soldier expected, and her face gets cut, but fortunately, not fatally run through.
Mukuro: Is this the extent of what you can do? Trickery won't work on me forever!
Kayano: BLUEAGH!
Yet again, Mukuro blocks Kayano's ensuing attack and tosses her backwards. Simultaneously, both girls pull out their rifles and fire on each other. A mad dance of bullets ensues, with the area around the rooftop being laid to waste. However, despite the extra protection of her uniform, Kayano takes more fire than Mukuro and her arms become gradually more grazed and tired. In the split second she drops her guard, Mukuro attacks.
Mukuro: Hmph...
Kayano: GRAGGH! AGH!
Mukuro rushes forward and knees Kayano in the jaw, then punches her in the stomach, though due to her uniform it doesn't have much effect other than knocking her back. She grabs the green-haired girl, throws her upwards and rams her fist straight into her spine, causing Kayano to scream out in pain. The blow is strong enough to send her rocketing up into the sky.
Kayano: I...told you...!
Mukuro: Hm?
Sensing something amiss, Mukuro glares up at her opponent.
Kayano: I warned you...Leave...Me...ALOOOOOOONNE!
*CRACK!*
Mukuro: Grrgh!?
Though she attempts to dodge, the speed of the next attack is lightning fast, and a large mark is left across the Ultimate Soldiers face! A pair of green tendrils burst out of the back of Kayano's neck, and smash straight through the roof of the building! The floor underneath Mukuro comes away, and she retains her focus bounding off the falling debris to safety. When she's safe enough, she looks back up at Kayano, who bares a maniacal, evil glare on her face.
Mukuro: There you are...
Kayano: I'll kill you...! YOU'RE DEAAD!
Before she even falls back to the ground, Kayano's tentacles once again lash towards Mukuro. The soldier girl is only barely able to dodge the incoming attack as the ground next to her is cut straight through like butter. Mukuro continues to dodge the whipping tentacles while she reloads her rifle!
Mukuro: Alright, play time is over...!
When Mukuro gets half a second to react, she aims her rifle at Kayano, who just now lands back on the ground, and fires an array of bullets at her. Kayano responds by spinning her tentacles around like a fan, blocking every single bullet and melting them into nothing! Mukuro is then unpleasantly surprised as the tentacles wrap around her rifle and disintegrate it.
Kayano: You BITCH!
Kayano's body language and screams are angry, despite the homicidal joy on her face! Mukuro is caught off-guard as the girl launches herself forward with her tentacles, and throws an uppercutting punch at the soldier! Mukuro catches Kayano's fist, but the force of the blow is so strong, she still feels the effects shoot through her body!
Mukuro: Gagh! D-Damn...!
Kayano: RRRRGGHGGERRRGGGHH! RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGHH!
*CRACK!* *SMACK!* *CRACK!* *SMACK!* *CRACK!* *SMACK!* *CRACK!* *SMACK!* *CRACK!* *SMACK!* *CRACK!* *SMACK!* *CRACK!* *SMACK!* *CRACK!* *SMACK!* *CRACK!* *SMACK!* *CRACK!* *SMACK!* *CRACK!* *SMACK!*
Mukuro: Shit...! GAAGH!
Kayano's initial blow sends Mukuro sliding back across the ground, and in a split second, Kayano lunges forward again. Mukuro is too dazed and the girls movement is too fast for her to dodge, so she ends up bracing herself to receive several thousand blows from the whipping tentacles within the span of a few seconds! The speed, power and sheer force of the clash is so powerful, steam starts to emit from Kayano's tentacles and Mukuro's hands; the soldier biting her lip the whole time to retain her focus.
Mukuro: That's ENOUGH!
Kayano: Gagh! RRGH!
Mukuro: AHAGH!
*CRASH!*
Mukuro finally gets a chance to deflect Kayano's tentacles and she drops to the ground, roundhouse kicking the girls legs to trip her up. This doesn't work. Kayano simply holds herself up with her tentacles and kicks Mukuro in the chest with both her legs, sending the soldier smashing through the wall onto the street outside. Mukuro pants, struggling to catch her breath. She lazily raises her head to see Kayano hoist herself up onto the remains of the building, glaring down at her, tentacles wiggling behind her neck. Mukuro stands up straight, rolls her shoulder and cracks her neck.
Mukuro: Looks like I made a mistake not going for the kill immediately.
Kayano: And I will make sure...you REGRET it...!
Mukuro: Well...if there's one thing I've learned in these last few years, it's that no matter how dire things get, it's never too late to see things to the end...
Kayano: Spare me your GROSS PLATITUDES!
*CRACK!* *SMAAASH!*
Kayano angrily whips at Mukuro full power, hoping to slice the soldier in two...But to her horror, Mukuro bends back and dodges this attack perfectly, despite it's speed. She becomes even more nervous as the soldier lifts her head. Her expression and disposition have both changed dramatically, and there is a menacing, red tint to her pale eyes.
Mukuro: So...let's finish this...!
Kayano: I despise you so much...! I'LL BURN YOU ALIIIIIIVE!
Kayano uses every limit of her power, and sets her tentacles ablaze!
*CRASH!* *SMASH!* *CRAASH!*
Mukuro: ...
Moving even faster than they were before, the tentacles cut through the area, leaving almost no room for survival! However, even at their unfathomably fast speed, Mukuro still jumps and slides out of the way, showing no emotion and not breaking focus.
Kayano: HAAAAAAAAAGH!
Mukuro: ...
Kayano: DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEE!
Mukuro: Tch...
However, it's apparent that Mukuro is still struggling to retain. Sweat rolls down her face as the flaming tentacles lash around her. She's only narrowly able to dodge them, suffering slight burns on the tip of her hair and the end of her elbow!
Mukuro: ...!
Kayano: NO YOU DON'T! HAAGGH!
Mukuro leaps up towards Kayano, but using her tentacles, Kayano leaps away onto the building on the other side of the street! She brings the tentacles down on Mukuro, who just weasels her way through them as the ground beneath her craters open! Kayano whips at her again, sending the rubble of the building flying into the air, which the transcended soldier uses as platforms to get in closer!
Kayano: UUUUUUGH! GO TO HELL ALREADY!
*CRASH!* *CRASH!* *SMASH!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!*
As Mukuro gets in closer to deliver what one could assume to be the final blow, Kayano's tentacles kick into overdrive and whip around the entire area! The rubble Mukuro rides on is destroyed one by one, and all the buildings within several miles start to crumble to dust, save for the one Kayano is using as a platform! When she runs out of footing, Mukuro launches forward, pulling out her RPG launcher again!
Mukuro: ...
Kayano: DIE! DIE! DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEE!
Mukuro: ...!
Kayano: AAH-!?
Mukuro: So long...!
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMM!*
Kayano thrusts her tentacles out once more, hoping to grab Mukuro mid-air and end the fight there, but Mukuro reacts faster than anticipated. Within a single moment, she grabs the tentacles and uses them to hoist herself forward, grabbing her RPG launcher, and aiming it point-blank at Kayano's face! She pulls the trigger, and a huge explosion engulfs her.
Mukuro: Hmph...H-Huh...!?
Kayano: Kegggh...
However, Mukuro is horrified to see that in the nanosecond before the rocket could hit her, Kayano uses her tentacles as a barrier to block the explosion. The tentacles come away to show her gritting her teeth with a face of violence and death.
Mukuro: No...!
Kayano: DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEE!
Mukuro: HURUGH!
Mukuro lands on the roof of the building, which is now crumbling to pieces. In light of her false victory, she drops her guard, and just before she can reenter her battle stance, Kayano thrusts the tentacles forward, plunges them straight into the soldiers chest and completely rips out her heart, crushing it between them!
Mukuro: Aah...Aah...ah...
Kayano: Hah....Haah...Huh?
Mukuro: Ah...Ngh...
Mukuro slowly trudges forward, sliding along Kayano's tentacles which are still embedded through her chest, and approaches the green-haired assassin. She reaches up and gently strokes her face, which has calmed down significantly.
Kayano: You...
Mukuro: Nrrgh!
Kayano: AAGH!
With Kayano's guard down, Mukuro reaches behind her head and pulls out the tentacles from her neck. They retract into a much smaller size, pulling back through her chest, and tightly into Mukuro's hands before turning into nothing. Mukuro chuckles.
Mukuro: ...you're...welcome...
She then collapses to the ground, dead. Kayano hurries over to her, takes her head in her hands, and rests her forehead against hers, crying.
Kayano: I'm...I'm sorry...! I'm...sorry...
Leona: Oh come on! She JUST came back to life! Ugh...She's not coming back from THAT one, is she?
Hifumi: Surviving being stabbed in the heart is one thing...Surviving your heart being ripped out and crushed...Yeah, no...She's not getting out of THAT one safe and sound...
Leona: Don't worry though! This is a simulation! They're all fine, really! But uh...onto more important matters-WHAT HAPPENED!? Mukuro has god levels of attack power and mobility! How did she lose!?
Hifumi: Because ironically enough, Kayano had everything she needed in order to put the Wolf of Fenrir down. But let it be known that for at least the first half of any confrontation, Ms Ikusaba would have had the upper hand.
Leona: First and foremost, at their base levels of power without the use of any of their innate special abilities, Mukuro's sheer power and ability blew Kayano out of the water. Many of the Future Foundation's strongest fighters, like Sakura, Peko, Nekomaru or Akane; Mukuro could either overpower easily, or at least fight on an equal level with.
Hifumi: Ms Ikusaba also had far more combat training than her opponent. Kayano was no slouch, but the Ultimate Soldier gained that title for a reason, having been into military tactics and fighting in wars since she was only a child, and never ever gaining a scratch on her body in all that time.
Leona: There is actually another advantage that Mukuro possessed as well for this fight: No matter what, her respective martial arts prowess would have been too much for Kayano to deal with, especially when compared to her own skillset.
Hifumi: With her own martial arts prowess, Kayano is by no means weak. The fact that she was able to use her skills to take down that armed soldier is proof of that. However, part of why she was able to do that is because she was trained to as an ASSASSIN. Assassins by nature are trained to go for the kill immediately, and physical confrontations aren't typically their strong suit. Ms Ikusaba on the other hand, is a SOLDIER, and she has spent most of her life training in hand-to-hand combat, self-defensive and brutal killing, and she's much more physically fit and strong.
Leona: In fact, in Danganronpa Survivor, Maki Harukawa, who is an assassin herself that would have had similar training to Kayano, even admits this. And the two even dueled one on one shortly after Maki joined the Foundation, and this was after she defeated both Peko and Akane. You know, it really feels like Mukuro SHOULD have won this.
Hifumi: Be that as it may, Kayano had just the right defensive capabilities that would allow her to eventually wear Ms Ikusaba down.
Leona: Well, for one thing, she's a fair bit faster. Mukuro could easily match Korosensei's Mach 20 speed, possibly higher with the Battle Trance, but the truth is, though Assassination Classroom states that Korosensei can reach speeds of Mach 20, he would have to be moving and reacting faster in order to achieve that laser feat.
Hifumi: And if Kayano can keep up with him and put him on the defensive, it means she should realistically be able to achieve similar levels of speed, which would make her several times faster than Ms Ikusaba's max speed. Even with that in mind, the special cloth of Kayano's uniform made her resistant to attacks from blades, bullets and tasers...Which...is effectively most of Ms Ikusaba's arsenal.
Leona: What about the RPG then?
Hifumi: I'm sure that could have done some damage, but again, speed is a key factor there. If Korosensei can effortlessly catch grenades and RPG's, who's to say Kayano can't do the same thing?
Leona: So basically, Mukuro's real only option in the end was to fight with her bare fists. Which, let's be real, are a deadly weapon in their own right, but still, it wouldn't have been enough.
Hifumi: Not only is the uniform also shock-resistant and hardens when faced with physical blows, Ms Ikusaba really had no way to get around the tentacles. Even if she was somehow able to rip them out, they can just regenerate again. There was also no chance of tiring Kayano out to gain an opening due to her immense stamina. Plus, even if Kayano didn't have her reinforced uniform, the tentacles can melt metal, which is ANOTHER way to counter Ms Ikusaba's vast arsenal.
Leona: And in comparison to their overall defensive capabilities, Mukuro's defensive prowess just does not compare. Sure she can withstand explosions or attacks on an even more immense level, but she is still easily hurt by things like knives and bullets when they actually DO hit her.
Hifumi: The last thing to consider is power. As we mentioned, Ms Ikusaba was more than a match for Kayano in their base levels; in fact, she would have been quite a challenge, possibly as dangerous as opponents like the Grim Reaper.
Leona: As we said before, Mukuro's feat of fighting against the Killing Game Monokuma army, and the fact that she was able to easily dismantle them with her makeshift weapon, proves her strength is equivalent to 30 to 90 kilotons of TNT. For reference, that's between 2 to 6 times the power of the atomic bomb, like the one dropped on Hiroshima during WW2.
Hifumi: In contrast however, Korosensei's feat of parting the clouds on the scale of a mountain would require a force of about 3 MEGATONS of TNT, which is about 30 TIMES the Ultimate Soldier's feat. Of course, it's not DEFINITIVE strength, especially since power levels and feats of strength in both Danganronpa and Assassination Classroom aren't exactly grounded in human logic, despite the fairly standard setting of both series. However, Kayano's feats of fighting stronger opponents in her universe than the likes Ms Ikusaba fought in hers proves that Kayano's maximum strength just outclasses hers. Though it's a hard pill to swallow, in the end, Kaede Kayano was just the perfect opponent to take down the infamous Ultimate Soldier.
Leona: She outmatched her in speed, power, durability and stamina, and had just the perfect tools to kick Mukuro Ikusaba in the...Fen-REAR...!
THE WINNER IS KAEDE KAYANO!

im being self indulgent so here’s a fix of kyle being sick and sheila taking care of him
“Care for You”
Warnings: Sickness, overeating, stomachaches, the works in a sickfic.
Kyle’s immune system had always been fucked. Ever since he was born he was burdened with having the immune system of a damn squirrel. So oftentimes he would be bombarded with an onslaught of different sicknesses. Fevers. Chills. Colds. Stomach bugs. Flu. You name it, he probably had it at some point. It also didn’t help that he was diabetic, so his immune system was even more compromised.
He knew something was wrong from the moment he woke up. He had felt a sharp throbbing in his abdomen. His stomach twisted inside him. He assumed it must’ve been hunger, though he couldn’t recall feeling hungry that quickly after waking up. He sat up and was instantly hit with a dizzy spell. He groaned and buried his face in his hands. He contemplated going back to bed but he knew that it was a Saturday. Which meant game nights with the boys. And Kyle had promised he would be there since he hadn’t been to the last few because of the unfortunate timing of his sporting events.
But there was another thing he had to get past now, besides the feeling of his stomach swimming inside him. His mom.
Kyle loved his mom to death. He really did. She was there for him whenever he needed her. She was his rock. She listened to his problems and made him feel better when he needed her most. But Jesus Christ could she be overbearing. Not to mention observant. He checked his clock.
“11:30?! Fuck…”
He hadn’t even realized he had been passed out for that long. He was surprised his mom hadn’t come barging into his room to make sure he wasn’t dead. Oh well. Up and at ‘em.
As soon as Kyle swung his feet over the bed, another wave of dizziness washed over him. He let out a low groan and a dry belch, which tasted like death. He scrunched up his face and smacked his lips a bit to get the taste out of his mouth. He knew something was definitely wrong. Probably some digestive issue. But would he admit that? No. No he would not. He powered through and managed to stand up, changing into a loose t-shirt and jeans. He noticed his stomach looked kind of bloated. Likely as a result of the sickness. He sighed to himself in a mix of frustration and annoyance before pulling his shirt over his head.
He began rummaging through his drawer, trying to find his insulin and blood sugar monitor. He set everything up on his desk. It was hard to focus with how dizzy he was and blurry his vision was. He managed to force his eyes into focusing by putting on his glasses. God he hated them. His diabetes had messed with his vision, thus he needed either glasses or contacts, which unfortunately, the former seemed like the safer option. He knew he probably didn’t have the stability to put in contacts at the moment, with how shaky his hands were. And he really didn’t have the time, nor patience to fight with contacts at the moment.
He squinted a bit as he set up his lancet. He pocketed the lancet, the insulin and the glucose monitor and went downstairs, praying Ike wasn’t in the bathroom. Kyle was sixteen and Ike was eleven, thus sharing a bathroom had become a lot less…convenient. He also prayed he wouldn’t pass by his mom. He didn’t want her to worry about him if she saw how sick he looked.
After managing to sneak downstairs, he knocked on the bathroom door, to which Ike responded. “I’m busy!”
“Fuck…” Kyle uttered. He sat down at the table, just as his mom walked in.
“Kyle, bubbi! I was getting worried about you. You don’t normally sleep this late!” she rushed over to him, putting her coffee cup down. He hoped she wouldn’t look too closely to his face. “Hey, Ma.”
Shit. His voice was croaky and clearly gave him away His mom’s smile dropped. She squinted at him.
“Kyle, dear. Are you feeling alright? You look sick.”
Kyle inwardly cringed. He would’ve much rather preferred to just go back to bed and not put up with Cartman’s bullshit, but it was Game Night. And he promised Stan he would be there. Kenny too. And he couldn’t let those two down. So he pulled himself together.
“Yeah, I’m okay. Just think my blood sugar’s a bit low.”
It wasn’t a complete lie. It could’ve been too low. Or high. The symptoms were really similar, albeit the sudden ravenous feeling inside that told him to eat. That was definitely a sign of low sugar. But it certainly wasn’t just that. It was also the fact that he felt minutes away from barfing his guts up if he had any contents in his stomach to throw up. His mom squinted at him, as if she were sizing him up. She had gotten off his ass a lot more now that he was older and could be trusted with more things, but she was very firm when he was sick.
“Okay…check your blood sugars and if you’re still feeling ill, tell me.”
He nodded. He knew he probably wouldn’t, regardless of whether he still felt sick or not. But he needed her to think he was okay enough. Especially if he was gonna be driving himself there.
After about ten minutes, Ike got out of the bathroom. He hugged Kyle quickly around his stomach, which sent a jolt of nausea through him. He kept a straight face though as he hugged back lightly. “Mornin’.” he smiled a bit as Ike went off to say hi to his mom.
He went onto the bathroom and sat on the toilet seat. He set up his lancet and lancing device after washing his hands thoroughly and drying his hands off. He knew that the sickness-induced clammy hands would probably mess up his reading, or it would ruin the stuff he was using, so he knew he needed to act fast. He set out his blood monitor and testing strips before inserting a clean lancet into his lancing device He set the puncture deepness to a level 3. He pricked his finger and watched a bead of red blood ooze from the wound. He quickly reached for the blood monitor, watching the blood be pulled into the testing strip. While he waited for his reading, he shakily bandaged his finger and threw out his lancet. The monitor beeped again.
65.6 mg/dL.
“Crap…”
That was the last thing he wanted. The biting nausea in his belly had been enough to nearly keep him bedridden on his ass, and now that he had to eat something sugary? With his stomach being as upset as it was? He honestly couldn’t tell if the grumbling in his belly was from the dull nausea that pricked at him or the hunger. Intense hunger was kind of an old friend to him. A symptom of low blood sugar, which was much more common in Type 1 diabetics (such as himself) than Type 2 diabetics. In the end though, he had chalked up the illness to his low blood sugar. It would explain a lot. He walked out of the bathroom where his mom was waiting.
“Are your sugars okay, bubbi? Do you feel okay?”
“65.6.” he replied, feeling a mix of biting hunger and nausea grabbing at his stomach as a loud, rumbling gurgle squeezed its way through his stomach. He felt his cheeks redden a bit. If there was one thing that set his mom off, it was that. Her eyes widened, both at the news of his low sugars and the rumble coming from her son’s midsection. She acted quickly and grabbed him a juice box. She tossed it to him before speed walking off to the kitchen. Kyle felt a bit guilty as he stood, but a sudden bout of dizziness caused a small groan to rip from his throat.
“Ma, you don’t-“ she cut him off.
“Just sit there, Kyle. You need to eat. Drink your juice and get your sugars up a little bit. At least until I’m done here. Okay?”
He hated the way she looked at him. The worry in her eyes. The way she went into fight or flight mode as if he was gonna drop dead in a matter of minutes. He supposed it was because of both his premature birth and the fact he was a rainbow baby. It had caused Sheila to become very overprotective of him. But he hated seeing his mother worry. But he physically didn’t feel well enough to argue, so he succumbed to his ill state and began drinking his juice box.
His mom came back with a bowl of yogurt. There were some fruits in there, but she had been caring in the means that she didn’t add bananas. Kyle was not a picky eater, but he couldn’t stand even the sight of bananas. It was clear that this would surely bring his sugars up at least. The sight of food caused a dull ache of hunger to grip at his stomach as his mother sat next to him.
“Eat up.”
He didn’t need to be told twice. He wolfed it down like he hadn’t seen food in a week. His mom couldn’t help but smile. Ever since he had entered high school his appetite had completely skyrocketed. By the time he was done, he was feeling a little better. Not as nauseous. He figured it would go away with time. He stood up to clean his bowl in the sink and gave his mom a soft hug from the side.
“Thanks, Ma.” he said, a small grin tugging at his lips. She smiled and hugging him back tighter, managing to squeeze out a hiccup, which was quickly followed by his hand flying to his mouth as he burped a little. This caused her to laugh a bit.
“Aww, still the same as you were little.” she commented, to which Kyle rolled his eyes and ran a hand through his curly hair. “Yeah, yeah…” he laughed a little before cleaning off his dish. He went back to the bathroom to finish getting ready He switched his glasses out with contacts. His hair was more messy and unkept than usual, but it was nothing that his trusty trapper hat couldn’t fix. He brushed through it as well as he could and went through his normal routine before throwing his hat on. He grabbed his coat and keys before hugging his mom goodbye.
“Don’t be home later than 10, Kyle.” she said firmly. “We’re having your favorite for dinner tonight.” Kyle nodded and smiled a bit. “Got it. Love you, mom.” He poked his head into the living room, where Ike was playing on the Xbox. “Bye Ike. Love you.” Ike got up quickly and hugged his brother. “Love you too!” he chirped before rushing back to his game. Kyle’s mom watched him walk out. “Drive safe, Kyle! Keep your eyes on the road! Love you more!”
Kyle couldn’t keep the smile off his face as he got into his car and drove off. He seemed to. be in the clear, sickness wise…
For now.
…
“God damnit!”
Cartman’s angry voice rang through the air as Kyle laughed. He had just kicked Cartman’s ass for the fourth time in Smash Bros. This had been going on for a while. Stan and Kenny were watching this all play out. Cartman was the first one out, just as he had been for the last little bit. Eventually Kenny was the second one out. So it came down between Stan and Kyle. The two trash talked each other a bit as they played before Stan eventually topped Kyle.
“Fuck!” Kyle cursed loudly, hitting his knee with his fist as he glanced at Stan. “Kiss my ass.” Stan commented, shoving Kyle lightly. Kyle rolled his eyes.
Eventually, Cartman’s mom had brought out a bunch of food. Kyle’s eyes widened. Stan looked a bit appalled and Kenny looked like his eyes were gonna pop out. It was a lot of food. A lot. And Cartman’s mom was an amazing cook…so Kyle kinda braced himself for overeating. But he didn’t wanna eat too much, he knew his mom was cooking something for when he got home but it was only six o’vlock. He figured it would be digested by then. So he sat down with the rest of the boys before he began to indulge himself.
He sat alongside the rest of the boys. Cartman was wolfing it down like he hadn’t had food in years. Kenny was too, but it was understandable for him. Poor kid was lucky if he ate at all on the weekends. Even then the only meal he usually got during weekdays that was ensured was the school’s lunch, which was free to those who couldn’t afford it. Other than that he could expect a pop tart or a waffle when he got home. But that wasn’t anything like it used to be now that Kenny was in his teenage years. Kyle felt awful for him. Stan seemed to be taking things in moderation. He already had a weak stomach that was easily triggered, so he knew if he ate too fast he would end up with a massive stomachache.
“Fuck. Cartman’s mom’s a damn good cook. If I got meals like this every day I would be just as fat as Cartman.”
That got a snort out of Kyle, who nearly choked on his food as Cartman yelled at Stan. Kenny seemed to be losing his shit before going back to stuffing his mouth and occasionally slipping a few bites into his pockets when he thought nobody was watching.
Eventually, the four finished up the meal. Cartman let out a huge belch, which caused the rest of the group to roll their eyes in disgust.
“That’s fucking sick.” Kyle snapped at the brunette, which just caused him to laugh.
“Like you’re so innocent, Kahl. God, you’re such a fairy.” Cartman retorted sharply. Kyle just rolled his eyes before hearing a much louder, more disgusting burp from the other side of the room. All eyes snapped to Kenny, He had his parka pulled over his face as he blinked innocently, as if he didn’t do anything. The silence was quickly broken by laughter as Kenny just averted his eyes as if he had done nothing wrong.
“God, you two are sick.” Stan said, wiping a tear from his eye. He stood up, stretching out a bit. Kyle followed suit, yawning a little. He suddenly felt very fatigued. A small headache ripped at his skull, but he ignored it for the time being.
It couldn’t be anything. Probably just from spending the last five hours playing video games.
Right?
…
After the meal, the boys went back inside to finish up their video game tournament. It didn’t take much for him to feel a pinch in his stomach. It felt like a sudden punch to the gut. A small, but low groan ripped at Kyle’s throat as he clutched his stomach. He hoped nobody noticed. Eventually, Stan noticed.
“Dude, are you okay?” Stan asked. “You don’t look so hot.”
Kenny suddenly approached too, to see what was going on. “Yeah, Kyle. You look like you’ve got a fever or somethin’.”
Kyle opened his mouth to answer, but quickly brought a hand to his mouth to muffle what might’ve been the kraken of burps. It wasn’t pretty sounding. Nor did it feel relieving like it normally probably would’ve. It felt wet. Like it was leading up to something. Stan’s eyes immediately widened and Kenny gripped Kyle’s arm. Cartman looked up from the TV and came over.
“That’s fucking sick.” he mocked Kyle’s tone from before. Nobody laughed though. Kyle’s eyes were wide as he felt saliva pool in his mouth. He shook his head. “Not now.” He managed. Cartman just rolled his eyes, not seeming to get the hint.
“What, are you gonna be sick or something? Too much food for you?” he teased. Kyle’s shoulders heaved as his stomach gave a low, sickly rumble. He glared daggers at Cartman, shaking violently. But not from anger, but from illness. He shoved Cartman back with the last bit of strength he had. It made Cartman stagger a bit.
“I said not-“
He was cut off by a much more retch-like belch. His shoulders heaved as he gagged. Cartman seemed to understand what was going on.
“Oh Jesus Christ, I swear to God if you throw up-“
And, as if in cue, a thick stream of vomit escaped from the ginger’s mouth and went all up the front of Cartman’s shirt. Cartman was frozen in place. Looking like a deer in the headlights.
“Kahl! What the fuck?!”
“Woah, sick dude!”
“Jesus Christ!”
Cartman shoved Kyle away from him, but he didn’t seem done there. He let out another retch before surprisingly, Kenny was the one who took action. He was used to sicknesses. His family couldn’t afford vaccinations (nor did they believe in them) and he was probably the most sickly teen in all of South Park right after Kyle. Karen used to get sick a lot too, and he was used to caring for her. Kenny grabbed Kyle by the arm and helped him to Cartman’s bathroom. He helped Kyle kneel down in front of the toilet and pulled his hair back gently. It was a bit too late though as Kyle got a bit of vomit on Kenny’s parka. He coughed up bile into the toilet and finally sat back.
“Fuck, I’m sorry…” he croaked hoarsely as he noticed the vomit on Kenny’s parka, to which Kenny just shrugged it off.
“It’s fine. I’ve had worse.”
He propped Kyle up against the bathtub and sat beside him. He closed the lid to the toilet and flushed down the vomit. Kenny crossed his legs.
“Didja feel sick this whole time, or?”
It was a simple question. But hefty, for Kyle, who sighed.
“I woke up this morning feeling like shit. I figured it was my sugars…” He hated talking about his diabetes. He felt like a ripoff version of Scott Malkinson while doing so. He preferred to keep his dignity. But he knew he could be honest to Kenny. Kenny was a better friend than he got credit for. “And my sugars were low this morning, so I figured that was why…I felt a bit better, but still felt like I had a weird cold or something, but no big deal. I guess it was a bigger deal than I thought, huh?”
He wiped stray ribbons of saliva from his mouth before standing up with Kenny’s help, who nodded understandingly. “I’m not gonna tell. Do you wanna go home?”
Kyle checked his watch. It was 8:30. He kinda did wanna go home and just be in the comfort of his own bed, with his family…so he nodded a bit. Kenny stood up and held his arm gently. “Let me help you out.”
As soon as he got out of the bathroom, Cartman walked in. Kyle glared a bit, half expecting some smartass comment, but none came. He noticed the puke stain on Cartman’s shirt. He didn’t feel the same feeling of guilt he felt after vomiting on Kenny. In fact, he felt a strange sense of pride. Cartman had it coming.
Kyle brought his fist to his mouth and burped dryly into it. It wasn’t anything like the previous ones. It was airy and quiet, almost as if it was all his stomach had to offer. Cartman glared harder, folding his arms a bit as he mumbled “Weak tit.”
“Fuck off, Cartman.” Kyle snapped. Even in his sickened state he was sure he could beat the snot out of Cartman. Cartman just rolled his eyes. Stan got in the middle before the fight could escalate. Normally they would’ve let this play out but Kyle was visibly shaking and sweating. He was not physically able to fight back like he usually would.
In the end, Cartman stormed off without another word, pissed that his shirt had even ruined. Kenny wished him a quick recovery, while Stan helped Kyle into his car. Kyle handed over the keys before the car ride faded into silence, aside from an occasional gurgle from Kyle’s middle or a dry burp that tasted and smelled of rotting turkey. . Stan had to pull over three times because of how sick Kyle was getting. He didn’t complain (much) at all though. He simply held Kyle’s hair back and allowed him to get the gross stuff out of his system. Eventually, Kyle got home.
The moment his mom saw him, she freaked out.
“Kyle?! Oh my God!” she hurried over to him. He weakly waved. “Hey, Ma…”
…
Stan explained everything. Kyle getting sick. The times he had to pull over. All of it. Kyle interjected a few times to add in a few missed details (i.e. the low sugars and how he didn’t think he was actually sick) and in the end, Sheila thanked Stan for bringing her son home safely. When Stan left, she turned to Kyle.
Oh God. Kyle hated that look.
She looked genuinely worried.
Kyle would’ve almost preferred it if she had been angry with him. At least it wouldn’t tug his heartstrings like the look of pure sadness and worry on her face did.
“Kyle, bubbi, why didn’t you call me? Or tell me you weren’t feeling well? I would’ve come to pick you up…”
Kyle wanted to retort back with some snarky comment. He was sixteen! Calling his mom to take him home?! Because he was sick?! He couldn’t deal. But he didn’t wanna tell her that.
“I…don’t know.” he opted. He couldn’t really talk past the sudden lump in his throat.
Sheila must’ve noticed this. She hugged him gently. It was a bit awkward because he was so tall and lanky, but he hugged her back lightly.
“I’m always here for you. You know that, don’t you?” she reached up to push some of his damp-with-sweat bangs out of his face. He looked down at her, seeing the genuine care in her expression. He simply nodded, not being able to speak.
“I don’t care if you’re six, seven, eight, sixteen, twenty five, forty…I’m here for you. You are my son. And I love you more than anything.”
She helped him up the stairs and to his bed. He was too weak to check his own sugars after vomiting up nearly everything in his system, so Sheila did it for him. She was much more careful and soft than he was with himself. He often rushed it just to get it over with. It was such a chore to him. But to her? She seemed to genuinely care about his health. She always did. She tsked a bit and went downstairs, grabbing him a juice box. She brought up some soup she had made for dinner as well.
“I know you’re sick, sweetheart, but you need to eat. Just get a little something in your system.”
He couldn’t even protest. Even though he had thrown up what felt like seconds ago, his stomach seemed to disagree, giving a small gurgle of hunger. He groaned in response. His stomach was really beginning to piss him off.
He felt a sudden warm hand on his shoulder. His mom had grabbed a chair. She sat beside him. His hands were shaking. A lot. So eating was a bit of a struggle, but she had helped him. He felt her gentle hand rubbing at his stomach as the food slipped down. It helped him digest his food. Ever since he was a baby she would do stuff like that, not so much anymore, but whenever he was sick. By the end, he had eaten as much as he could manage, and felt more tired than anything. His eyelids drooped. Shiela laughed a bit.
“Get some sleep, honey. I’ll check on you tomorrow.”
Kyle couldn’t even muster up the strength to reply. He simply nodded and let his head sink into the plus pillow beneath him. He nodded a bit. As his mom was on her way out, she heard a soft noise. She turned her head.
“Hey, Mom?”
“Yes, sweetie?”
“I love you.”

An alternate take on "Hercules" (1997)
This movie is a classic, though I did want to put my own twist on this, similar to my other remakes. Granted, my version isn't really too much closer to Greek mythology, but it has a bit more tweaks in there.
Change his origins. If we're gonna be loose with Greek mythology, I'll put my own twist on it. I'd make it so that Zeus (a questionable father in any iteration, it seems) had a child with a mortal woman--who's looks and personality would be similar to Disney's version of Hera--but because she was human, she couldn't be with him. As such, he married Hera, who is bitter that she was his second choice, and is extremely jealous when it's discovered that the mortal woman sired a child with Zeus named Hercules (let's say she was born in Rome), though she changed his name to Alcaeus to hide him from Hera. When he finds out the truth, he wants to go to Olympus to meet his father, but must achieve godhood to do so. It's also explained that many Olympians have taken in interest in Hercules--namely Dionysus, Hermes, Apollo, Athena, and Artemis, plus the Muses, all of them godly children that Zeus sired before his marriage to Hera--and they assist him here and there, though they must do it discreetly to avoid Hera's wrath.
2. Change the villains. This is a complex issue; Hera is definitely a villain here, but so is Hades, and to a point, Zeus. Zeus is the "good dad, bad husband" type of person; he's a lively person and a fun friend, but not good with his relationships, ie making Hera his second priority and undermining his older brothers since he's the king of the gods. He's not evil, but he is toxic. As such, Hera sets a plan in motion: she tells Zeus that she will not harm Hercules or his loved ones if he proves himself worthy of being a god, thus setting in motion Hercules' quest (as well as wanting to find where he belongs). However, she tasks Hades and Persephone (no Pain and Panic here, sadly) with doing him in before he can become immortal. She also manipulates her sons, the neglected Hephaestus and the power-hungry Ares, into helping her bring about Hercules' doom. She also cheats by occasionally giving him unreasonable bouts of anger that hinder his progress as a hero. And since we're dealing with about five villains, the Titans don't exist.
3. Megara is different--but only slightly. Still her jaded, pessimistic self, I'd want to remove any possible arguments of her being toxic with Hercules, since I was never a fan of them together. Here, instead of Hades offering Meg her freedom, her simply forces her to do his bidding, almost like an Ella Enchanted situation. However, seeing her lack of enthusiasm for this, Hermes, Apollo, and Artemis intervene during several occasions to help her work around her master's manipulation as well as giving her tools to help Hercules if he's in a bind (since they can't openly use their powers, as it would put a target on their backs with Hera). A part of me wanted to conflate her and Persephone's character into one, making her a woman forced to be Hades' wife and become bitter as a result, and Hercules' love and kindness makes her fall for him and decidedly leave Hades, but perhaps that's too much.
4. The ensemble is different. The main cast of the original was Hercules, Pegasus, Phil, and Meg. Here, the cast is made up of Hercules, Pegasus, Iolaus (his cousin rather than his nephew like in mythology) and Meg. Phil doesn't exist here, with Apollo, Athena, and Artemis training Hercules, with Meg and Iolaus as moral support. Hermes mainly tries to keep everything discreet so it never reaches Hera.
5. The message/ending is slightly different. Zeus learns to be a better person/god, owing his treatment of others due to his own childhood trauma at the hands of his father. His redemption is kinda like it was in "Immortals: Fenyx Rising." Hades and Persephone get some kind of gratification, as Zeus vows to treat Hades better and Hades acknowledges his manipulation of getting Persephone to marry him (this version of the story varies, but if he's gonna be a villain, we may as well go that route). Hera is imprisoned with Ares, and Hera acknowledges how she mistreated her sons due to her own pain, with only Hephaestus managing to overcome his trauma and help Hercules. Hercules doesn't really "give up" his godhood for his mortal family, though--he's never forced to make a choice between them and the Olympians; I kinda hated the implication with the original ending.
Lemme know what you think! This has been rattling around in my brain for a while.

NPC— FATHER NECROSIS ADDED !
A nasty, nasty man now added to the ATLAS info sheet! YIPPEE! The new information is also below the cut as well:
[☣️] FATHER NECROSIS An Upper Echelon whose studies revolve around genetic engineering & splicing— he is obsessed with evolving, curing the incurable, and of course: becoming a god. (<- a more…discreet goal)
He is the leading scientist behind the Ectoplasm Project and Experiment 713.
Personality:
A seemingly polite and proper gentleman— Necrosis is rather respectable and civil for a mad scientist. That is, until he isn’t. A man built on contradictions, he’s domineering yet patient. Underneath the niceties, Necrosis is a cruel, calculating and cunning man who will stop at nothing to reach his goals.
Appearance:
Covered head to toe in garb that resembles a plague doctor, a metallic mask whose filters reverberate a heavy voice. Suit is connected with mechanical pauldrons and various wires, tubes, and phials bolted in. 5’6 manlet. Necrosis’ very own face remained one of ATLAS’ greatest mysteries. For the best (NIGHTMARE NIGHTMARE NIGHTMARE)
Abilities:
STASIS / NULL A unique, self-inflicted enhancement he had carefully spliced on himself to give him a proper upper edge against the experiments of ATLAS— Necrosis has a natural, nauseating miasmic aura around him. The debilitating effects range from a general unease, to nauseating vertigo to life draining. His stasis is also capable of general power nullification via the life-force absorption. More spliced secrets and genetic mutation lay underneath, all kept confidential to appear as human as possible.
Extras:
THE ROT: Has an incurable disease caught long ago in space. Something akin to an infectious cancer— Necrosis is covered head to toe to keep the infection from spreading. Whatever remains of his human flesh is rotting, and everything both hooked up and spliced into his genetics is the desperate acts of a genius to cure himself.
Necrosis has spliced his own DNA with countless other lifeforms and had self-experimented his own genetics in a vain attempt to cure the rot, or at the very least, halt its spread. The results are varying, but no cure.
His work is just as contradictory as himself. He has developed incredible advancements and remedies for humankind through his dastardly research, however in the same vein, he has also assisted in the creation of some of ATLAS’ more terrifying bio-weapons.
Survival after the containment breach is currently unknown (he did, the guy is a roach)
Relationships:
GHOST-713 (Ophelia)
Necrosis is the primary scientist that leads the research team for the projects consisting of Ectoplasm and GHOST-713. He is deeply engrossed, if not borderline obsessed, with GHOST-713; the obsession beginning due to the unforeseen (and unknown) compatibility between her and the ectoplasmic core. Necrosis believes that the missing key to formulating a cure for the rot is through her symbiotic relationship with the ectoplasm. Over time, the mystery behind her ectoplasmic core drives him further into madness. The one thing he cannot figure out: it haunts him, it intrigues him— he wants it for himself. It’s a deep, sickly twisted yearning that lures out his megalomaniac power trips. With his ability of stasis, he is the primary reason why GHOST-713 is kept under control despite her incredibly volatile moveset at her disposal. GHOST-713 is terrified of him.
JOSEPH (Doc)
A one sided relationship— Necrosis has a deep respect for Joseph’s own work, both in his medical field as well as his uncannily sharp wit (and he rather enjoys the doctor’s…occasional personality quirks. Deems it a breath of fresh air). Joseph would like absolutely nothing to do with this man, but it’s hard being a boss’ favorite— so at the very least, he’ll strive in the slight leeway and wiggle room he can get while in good favor with Necrosis. Despite Necrosis’ fondness for the doctor, a twisted envy bubbles below the surface, especially when Joseph gets closer to GHOST-713.
#//he's also a secret muse shhhh#//until he gets slapped on the big boy muse list he’ll pop in for cameos and to steal the rare spotlight of asks not specified hehehe#//alright i gotta go take a shower to get all this necrosis grime off me yuck#ᯓ☣️˖° father necrosis . musings#ᯓ☣️˖° father necrosis . ic#ᯓ☣️˖° father necrosis . about#ᯓ☣️˖° father necrosis . visage#ᯓ👽˖° ooc

Miguel O'Hara x Murdock Spiderwoman!OC
Her name is Mary Murdock & the thing is that this spiderwoman's canon event wasn't just that she lost someone else, it was also the fact that, in many ways, she lost herself.
She is the daughter of Matt Murdock & in her upper teen years, she was kidnapped & sold into sexual slavery. Her father, of course, eventually found her & saved her life as well as the lives of the other teens, children, & women, but by then, she'd already been… damaged…
Despite everything, Mary had intentionally drawn as much ire from their captors as she could in order to divert as much of their attentions away from the others as she could. She didn't necessarily always succeed, but she tried her hardest. She did everything she could to protect the other victims, but she could only do so much.
She saw... so many horrors there... So many horrible, twisted things that she swore that she heard God's voice comforting her as she slept at night. Keeping the nightmares away. He told her that her dad was coming & God never lies, so she believed him. And she was filled with a determination to do it all again the next day. Then the next, until finally, her dad came to save them. Not Daredevil, just Matt Murdock.
During her time there, she became as an older, very protective sister to the younger ones there. Even long after getting out & everyone was returned home, she kept in contact with them all. Except for one, he had no family to return to & at her request, Matt adopted the boy, Jude.
He has... the poor boy went through a lot. And his new family helped him to process those thoughts & memories. Though, for a good while he was attached to Mary at the hip.
Since then, Mary was filled with an unbearable rage & vowed to have every last sack of shit abuser & slaver & sexual offender that she could manage, put on death row. Especially the ones who dared to touch children! So, she studied as a prosecutor & had her father teach her self-defense before eventually being bitten by a radioactive spider.
In the face…
The spider's poison took her vision from her much like her father's had been, but gave her spider powers. Including organic spinnerets that produced webbing as strong as steel, proportional strength of a spider, the strongest spider sense out of all the Spiders, & even better senses than Miguel. The last two mixing together to almost become a sonar. She also has venom similar to Miguel, but hers has a different effect.
She's also extremely good at creating traps with her webbing. If you remember that one Spiderman movie where Peter uses his webbing to make a spiderweb & used it like a spider to capture the Lizard; Mary does that a lot too. Especially when she's planning on ambushing criminals. Basically, she senses the vibrations that run along her webs. Her heightened senses allow her to detect even the most minute of movements & judge the weight & force behind what caused the movements. She can even sense things through the webbing to a degree. In a similar way to how cats can sense things through their whiskers.
As a result of her heightened senses, she also has heightened instincts & intuition, allowing her to be able to positively identify natural phenomenon such as weather & other natural disasters, predatorial intent in a similar way to animals, & even supernatural phenomenon to a degree. She can even track using scent, however that's something she needs to practice.
Her father, Matt, had denied allowing her to be a vigilante before, but now, he literally could not stop her. So, he might as well prepare her the best he could. He hated that she'd jumped so easily into this life, having tried so hard to shield her from it, but at the same time, he understood. He trained her in the advanced way of fighting blind, having taught her the basics before, just in case.
She has never been under any delusion that there wasn't some degree of desire for revenge in her motivations. She's honest enough with herself to not allow such lies within her own mind & knows that she is no better than any human & thus she is prone to selfishness at times like anyone is. However, just because it's partially for her own sake doesn't take away from the fact that 75% of her motivation was to rescue those who weren't so lucky as to be saved & to keep as many away from that life as possible. She's also trying to get better about that through emotional growth & God's aid.
Mary became the best prosecutor in the country, not to mention having studied in criminology, criminal psychology, audio Hellstromism, investigative science, & forensics science. Girl threw her back into helping her city in whatever way she could.
While she also deals with a lot of super villains like any spider, her main focus is on the systemic corruption & exploitation of the innocent by the rich. Corrupt corporations, black market dealings, criminal organizations, organ harvesting, human trafficking. She deals with the darkest side of justice.
She also studies engineering & chemistry, but it isn't the sort of thing that she's invested in the way the other Spiders are. It's more a means for her to accomplish her actual goals. Jude is sorta her man in the chair & normally, she has him be her eyes for things like actually seeing blood or finger prints. Like, her sense of smell is strong enough that she can basically smell blood & when someone's touched something, but it's nice to be able to confirm that she's right.
She also has investigative features such as video & audio recording devices, luminal spray, a pressurized spray that acts similar to aluminum power but in spray form, she can press the palm of her suit to a fingerprint & it'll record it to be analyzed by her in-suit computer.
Miguel actually gave her an AI to identify & analyze things visually. This way, she won't have to rely so much on her little brother. His name is Alfie & he's Jude's buddy.
Anyway, even though she's as much of a powerhouse as any Spider, she's actually more stealth-focused as her preferred branch of crime fighting requires a lot of investigation. She's, likewise, mastered the art of going unnoticed. Which means being seen, but it doesn't register. It's all about posture & the energy you give off & whatnot. She's also the most silent Spider anyone knows.
As for her civilian identity, she is called the Ice Queen of the Courts. She has a near perfect record. The only reason she doesn't is when she knows for a fact that the defendant isn't guilty. She also takes such "defeats" with grace, congratulating her opponent's & wishing the defendant well. Yet in her mind, she still has a perfect record. Because the thing that matters most to her is the innocent being given their rightful due & the guilty likewise. As such, to her, she still won.
Because you see, when she knows for a fact that the defendant is guilty, she always wins. And the sentence is always to the fullest. Especially if she turned the bastard in personally. Is always able to prove their guilt to such a degree that not even the most corrupt judge is able to avoid sentencing without some serious side-eye & investigation of them. As a result, she is utterly detested by the corrupt sects of the justice system, which she wears as though it were a badge of honor. (Though, it does tend to result in her civilian identity & her family being targeted. Which she hates.)
She's both proud of & demoralized by how sharply child molester deaths in prison has increased, because on the one hand, it means that there are just so many of them out there, but on the other, she's at least making progress in her extermination efforts.
Because that's what these people are to her; parasites, vermin, pests. Good for nothing but wasting space & resources that could be better used elsewhere.
It's taken a her a long time, but she takes comfort in the words of Romans 8:28. "All things work together for good to them who love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose." As while what happened to her was wicked & evil, she believes that it was allowed to happen so that she could become what she has. A woman who lives her life protecting people & especially children, with as much vigor as she does.
Of course, she never breaks the law. Maybe bends it a bit, but never breaks it. As far as anyone knows that is & if it was ever revealed that she was the Spider of her New York, she'd be able to easily defend her actions under the self-defense, defense of others, & other such laws.
Her influence has also been attributed to why so many corrupt cops & judges have been revealed & imprisoned.
There have, admittedly, been times when she, as Angel Spider, has had to fight such evil individuals, personally, having caught them in the act. (Not often, but it does happen.) And, there have even been instances where she's had to kill them, specifically when protecting others. However, in such situations, she's been able to defend herself as Angel Spider by using the defense of others law as her spearhead.
Interesting thing, even Super Villains don't mess with Mary Murdock because even they see molesters as the scum of the earth. Hell, Sandman openly protected her at one point because of it. Turns out he's an avid despiser of people who hurt kids being a dad & actually can't bring himself to hate Angel Spider due to her own very vocal disgust with child abusers. This results in Mary being determined to help him rehabilitate. (He later becomes a semi-casual hero in her universe & the 2 regularly team up. He dads her a little bit.)
Anyway, her father, despite himself, is exceptionally proud of her. Which is partly why it was so devastating when he was killed & became her canon event.
Mary refuses to take up the Daredevil name, not because she's ashamed of her father, but because she doesn't just want to strike fear into the hearts of criminals, she also wants to instill said criminals' victims with comfort. Similarly, she just does not want kids to associate devils with comfort & goodness. As such, she becomes Angel Spider. At night, her suit becomes almost pitch black, turning her into Night Spider, allowing her to fade into the background of the city at night.
While she has the characteristic, expressive spider-eyes, they're not see through & work mostly like cameras for Jude to see what she's doing & when he's not available, she records everything so he can look through it when he has the chance.
Her name & alias is a reference to cobwebs which are also called Angel Hair & Mary's Yarn.
Plans to name her firstborn son some variation of Timotheus meaning "one who honors God," Timmy for short; after Saint Timothy, who protects children. Ending up with Miguel, she names him Timoteo instead.
For Spider Society, she is a very sobering reminder that there are far darker evils in the world than super villains. Just her presence tends to encourage those around her to begin following her example & trying to deal with those same demons within their own worlds.
Peter B. had been especially struck upon learning her story, he'd tucked Mayday even closer to his chest as his mind replaced the scene with someone so dearly irreplaceable &... he just couldn't ignore it.
He was like a man possessed & begins rooting them out in his own universe whenever he could.
Pete becomes really protective of the youngsters super quick as a result. A little overbearing even.
Black Cat is a dude in Mary's universe & every bit as... Black Cat... Black hair, green eyes. Very teen heartthrob after college. Dude's a complete fuckboy. That's all I'm gonna say. Also extremely bisexual. Or... maybe he's just pretending to be to mess with her? She isn't sure. He's one of the only people she knows who she can't get a good read on.
He certainly flirts with enough men. Then again, maybe he just flirts with everyone regardless of whether he finds them legitimately attractive or not?
He's a mystery & hasn't been her type since she got out of college.
Mary is generally a pretty serious individual, but she can be funny in that she has a dry wit & deadpan humor. Doesn't do much witty banter in battle, but will banter at home whenever.
Enjoys debate & is an advocate of common sense.
She can also be mischievous, but more so in little ways.
Can think circles around most people with PhDs.
A master tactician.
Is actually a Dungeon Master, which she says helps her to be a resourceful & flexible strategist because players are chaos grimlins.
A very quick, on-the-spot thinker as a result.
DMs for Jude & his buddies, who all just think she's the coolest. Also sometimes DMs for the younger Spiders, but she actually prefers to be a player at Spider Society. Her current build is Shinigami Ninja which works like a multiclass of a Phantom Rogue & a Shadow Monk, just without the multiclassing. It's a subclass that she homebrewed herself.
Does a lot of homebrewing as she tends to be very creative.

So angels of death.
Every couple hundred years, a different mortal is blessed with immortality and become a winged being, it just so happens they also are more than likely to have their morals twisted.
Firstly, from Elizabethan times, philza ran into the embodiment of death, and was turned as a result. Now a winged warrior, he Is her right hand man. Agressive yet still empathetic, it is his job to hunt those going against the natural order
Grian is from the 1970s, investigating a meteor, and was altogether quite peaceful and homely. Sure, he is now more chaotic, but he still remains a friend to many and relatively stable.
But now there is a third. Someone who killed so much she was blessed with powers as a result. Now she has upset the natural balance, and hurt grians friends. Cue a team up between Phil and grian to take down the most dangerous individual... A figure known as ivory cello
it was a long debate between grian and philza on what to do with ivory. one hand she was murdering a large sum of people but on the other hand she was their counterpart, the other side of the coin of their nature. if philza was light (the true angel), grian was the grey (the trickster), ivory was the dark (the fallen angel).
they came to a compromise, ivory would host death games similar to those hosted in the past by the sky gods, to sate her bloodlust. it was easy to find players trying to test their might against an angel of death (tears of roses leaked from their fallen bodies, they forgot that dulling her nature did not change it).
