So, lets go with part 2 of the resume of The Beniko Order in Sith resurgence

In the part before i talked about the origin of Beniko and their Curse, but now lets continue getting deeper on this star wars fanfic.

1-Darth Alora and The Clone Wars

Remembering what i said before about the Curse of the Force hating on Beniko clan, life was not easy for them, because their numbers were already small, but having the Force attempting to ruin your life all the time is basically a herculean task. The Beniko clan however managed to survive until the events of the prequel era, where we can talk about 2 sith that are referenced in the fic but were given more info outside of it.

The first one is Darth Safik, the greatgrandmother of Aliana, who was the Master and adoptive Mother of Darth Alora, who was Aliana's Grandmother. Safik and Alora lived normal lives, however Safik was killed by a Bounty Hunter, leaving Alora alone. The bounty Hunter is never specified or talked about by Lily, but knowing that she dislikes Mandalorians, i headcanon it was either Jango Fett, Cad Bane or Durge.

Mostly Jango because of personal spite

After that, Alora wanders around during the Clone Wars but eventually she went after the jedi after discovering Darth Sidious was a Sith Lord. However, they dismissed her and didnt cared about her warnings. So one day she invaded the Jedi Temple and copied at least 80% of all their archives. Alora then went hiding and decided to watch the Clone wars ending from afar, without getting involved. However, she eventually got found by Palpatine, who sent Darth Vader after her. After a long fight, Alora got killed by Vader, leaving behind her apprentice Darth Mayrik, also known as Tahleea Beniko.

Who swear revenge on Vader.

2-Darth Mayrik and the New Republic

After training by herself for years, Tahleea go after Vader and fights against him, almost winning until Starkiller (Yes, the events of Force Unleashed games are slightly canon in this fanfic, but lily never specified HOW MANY because in future Galen Marek becomes a senator who is on Aliana side) stopped her and made her retreat, eventually this failure making her give up on revenge and focusing on her being an ally from Rebellion while hiding her identity as a Sith Lord. Eventually, after the fall of the Empire, she joins the New Republic with an objective...

DECRIMINALIZE THE SITH

Tahleea believed that the Sith Creed got a bad reputation because of lots of Rotten Apples and the Jedi influence, and also believed that erasing the Sith history and regarding it as a Darkling Cult was erasure and historical genocide, so she tried using the New Republic to change the views of People about the Sith. However, it didnt ended well as even Mon Mothma, her friend, did not liked the sith neither saw the good side on preserving their history. So Tahleea decided to leave to the Outer Rim and as her ancestors did, not care about how route the Galaxy would go.

However before Tahleea left, she had a romance with a Senator from Dantooine named Yensin Tiralli, where their forbidden love generated the main character of this fanfic...

3-Today's Subject: Slavery

After Aliana was born, Tahleea realized that she needed money to raise her daughter well, so she went after a job. In Outer Rim you must be wary of what kind of job you want, specially if you want to be paid well. So the job she chose?

Slave Trafficking for the Hutt Cartels.

Yes, you read it right. Tahleea Beniko was a Slave Trafficker, but not the kind of capturing and enslaving ones. No no no she was just the one who drove the ship and took them to their places. Its not that bad, right?

That was a Lily excuse about People calling her out about it. But lets continue for the worst part about it.

Her job really paid her well, even if she disliked it and hated herself for doing what she did. However one day she "Lost" a slave in Jakku. A small Child who was sold by her parents.

Yes, in this fanfic that one ship we see in Rey's flashbacks is actually The Fury, the Ship used by The Beniko clan for at least 3.000 years, and is the one who left her in Jakku. How can a relic from such a far past still works? I dont know. But the fic sells it as being better than the Milenium Falcon anyways.

Detail is that Rey in the fic remembers feeling comfortable inside The Fury because of Aliana being there with her. And its because when she was sold and taken to The Fury she was ugly crying until Aliana comforted her. So the fic literally goes "awww you already knew eachother as children, you were made to be together". GAL, you were trafficking her.

Also Rey is implied as being the only one Tahleea left behind, wich means there were lots of People who got trafficked and no one saved them, while she was filling her pockets with dirty money. But the excuse its heard much is this.

"She needed to take care of her daughter."

Well, she took care of her. Until the Curse decided to act...

And a Skywalker ended their peace.

mascot notes (i used precure mascots and jewelpets [sanrio supports genocide which i shouldnt have 2 explain Why That's Bad, but im simply using them references for if/when i draw or design them] for references. maybe i'll add pokemon like fennekin or buneary later)

lifty and shifty share a mascot and are a duo at the start because theyre together when they meet the mascot - maybe other characters will also share a mascot and be a team at the start but i've only really thought about the mains. i also didn't want to use the same animal as their htf counterpart so i kinda started winging it

lifty and shifty's mascot will be a fox, bc foxes are often associated with slyness and cunningness. au where they're tom nook and redd's adoptive sons and after their dad's divorced- i'm joking i'm joking. i've contemplated naming him lucky, but who knows if i'll stick with that. dont have any real personality notes though, but obviously he's willing to bribe them.

splendid's mascot will be a dog. specifically a dig with longer floppy ears. i dont know why, but him with a puppy resonated with me i also really miss my beloved hershey, and just having a pet in general. while they dont have a name or a gender yet, i'm imaging them to be a very loyal type who cheers everyone on and, when there's no fighting evil to be done, loves to play. if i go the high school route (or maybe even college route...) they are vety bad about accidentally causing disruptions and everything thinks that the stress of being a model student is making splendid lose his mind.

with splendont and flippy, i just chose animals i liked and are popular for cute magical animal characters. splendont is getting a kitty. personality-wise i'm not sure what i'll go for. maybe a stubborn and impulsive type that tends to push his buttons. or a graceful and calculated cat that is stoic and cold at first but shows a true warm heart as they grow close to others. the forner would have a lot of arguing, the latter would let them both bond over being similar, as well as let splendont show a slightly less confident kitty that they are worthy and kind despite taking time to warm up to others, that they aren't alone.

for flippy i chose a bunny bc i like bnunies. hippity hoppity. this bunny i think would be the most gentle, caring sweetheart ever - but if you hurt their fruends, they'll stop at nothing to get revenge. maybe a sad backstory with a friend dying due to the big bad, and wanting to help to stop the villains as an act of revenge, despite knowing it wont bring back their friend. thus would strengthen flippy's resolve as a hero - fliqpy was the one that wanted to do it for the most part, and flippy was nervous about it (canonically he Did join the army [though he probably wouldn't have in this au] but i think weird magical shenanigans are a lil more concerning bc a talking rabbit comes out of nowhere and tells you to magically transform and fight monsters, and while you do want to help and save people and fight for whats right, this weird magical business is weird and comcerning) especially because bunny seems so sweet and kind. fliqpy thinks revenge seeking is cool and as long as he gets to keep beating up monsters, he'll help bunny avenge their friend.

next i gotta think of transformation trinkets... probably a watch like the yes precure 5 bc im basic. (im not a yes 5 fan but. i read what happened at the end otona precure and 🫤 i. i uh dont like that. at least i didnt get invested, like the devil is a part timer... but i'll stop rambling about uncomfy endings. this a blog for the 'cute animals die gruesomely every episode' show)

after rewatching a bunch of atla eps I decided to give the live action show a try and I do like it I think?? there are for sure things I dont like about it

there's the excessive use of cgi, zuko's "scar", sokka being so.... normal (not sexist, not goofy, nothing), iroh being made sympathetic right from the start, appa's fur, the amount of exposition (directly showing the fire nation genocide of the air temple rather than having be sth the viewer finds out along with aang & gran gran going into this whole speech instead of the narrative showing rather than telling)

but there are also things I do like which I didnt expect to like?? I love the details about zuko, his red string conspiracy theory wall that shows just how much he is obsessed with capturing the avatar, his shelf of avatar figurines, it just shows so well how obssesively he's focused on that and how serious he takes this fool's errand his father gave him because he truly believes that that will be the thing that will make his father love him

it was a big disappointment tho that the first time aang went into the avatar state is when he found gyatso's skeleton. narrative-wise it makes sense and all because these eps are way longer than the cartoon eps so they had to have a different climactic point but it also made the escape from zukos ship so anticlimactic, it wasnt even a fight at all. and what's stopping zuko from steaming right after them?? they're not buried in ice after all. and you mean to tell me a fire navy ship wouldnt have cannons or stuff like that on it??

it does at times feel like the narrative is a bit rushed, events are just packed together without much breathing room

but I do think I will keep watching tho, its very promising

Hmm, I thought he fully support Rumbling, dont judge me, I only follow trend if Erwin lived instead of Armin, he'd beside Eren trampling the world. Elaborate your opinion, cause I dont get it. 2. Why in the backward earth didnt Megatron and his co tell about Eren situations and his ability ? Everyone could've prepared for the worst if they tell Survey Corps about them, especially OP, Hanji, Levi, Armin, and Mikasa. Hell, maybe they will try to convince Eren, or maybe sorry ass beat up in Levi case. Nah, it wont change Eren to change him unleashed his bullshit shitstorm. I have a prejudiced about Louise freed Yelena and the rest of Extremist Restorationists from jail. Oh maybe you can make OP and Megsy realized there is a trigger for Eren ability (Cough cough, Historia) 3. Wil you make Kenny meet Levi and tell him that he is in the good side now (sort of) ? Cant wait for trio Ackerman in action, Kenny and Levi bickering, Mikasa tired for their shit and tried to stop it, it would be hilarious IMO

So these are spoilers for Attack on Titan and Attack on Prime chapter 82, so go read it if you haven't.

First question about Erwin I think that Erwin could go either way when it comes to supporting or opposing the Rumbling. You just have to look at Erwin's character as a whole. Because his motivation for joining the Survey Corps was to find out about the secrets of the outside world and prove his father's theory. A selfish motivation. But when he survived his first expedition and watched his dying comrades give heart and soul to the cause, he had to hide his ambitions behind the glory of humanity's survival because he felt so guilty for leading his comrades to his death for his own selfish benefit. I'm sure that some part of Erwin did believe in the survival of humanity when he was alive in the main story, but it wasn't a top priority. Not to mention he was doing monstrous shit and sacrificing his comrades when he needed to in order to achieve his goals. His plans were effective, obviously, but it literally took him a mountain of corpses to get there. So you could factor in Erwin's selfishness for wanting to activate the Rumbling and his desire to do anything and everything to protect the walls and have his plans succeed. If we are looking from the perspective of Erwin's selfishness and him playing his part as a monster to ultimately protect the island, then Erwin would be in support of the Rumbling.

But I think the one key scene that would make Erwin oppose to the Rumbling is his death charge. His final stand. Because Erwin didn't have to go to Shinganshina, but he wanted so desperately to see what was in the basement and prove his father right. But right when the Survey Corps backs are against the wall as Zeke is killing them off slowly, and Erwin confesses his sins to Levi, Levi tells him to die, and Erwin says thank you to him. Erwin's last stand is him abandoning his dream, abandoning his selfish desires and finally fighting for humanity. Erwin's last stand was that of glory and altruism because he was finally doing the right thing for the right reasons.

Mind you, the Walls have always been cruel to him. It was the people in the walls that killed his father, not the people in Marley. It was the people in the walls that scorned and ridiculed the Survey Corps. It was the people in the walls that arrested him and beat him and planned to execute him. He knows just how selfish and cruel humans can be, but he still chose to fight in the Survey Corps. He didn't abandon his own dream, and he didn't abandon humanity despite the cruel treatment, so I don't believe he would allow for the destruction of the outside world because they all hate him and the island.

In AOP, Erwin's story plays out differently. He lives, and tells his sins to Optimus during the coup, and Optimus is understandably angry at Erwin. Erwin's guilt came to the surface when Optimus showed up, because Optimus has always been altruistic in nature, but Erwin hasn't. So when Erwin gets to live and leave the Survey Corps because Optimus said he wouldn't serve if Erwin was in command, Erwin is left with guilt and shame at the lives he let die out of selfishness. Now Eren wants to do that, kill lives out of what is clearly selfishness, and Erwin can't let that happen out of guilt and compassion. Erwin has abandoned his humanity multiple times, but I think when it really comes down to it, Erwin will still find a way to chose his humanity to make up for the cruel things that he's done.

Of course, we'll never know how Erwin would react in season 4. He merely watched from the Paths along with everyone else. But I think the salute at the end signified that he supported Levi and his choice.

Second question regarding Megatron's secrecy.

Megatron's team consists of Erwin Smith, a retired member of the Survey Corps, a civilian who's not supposed to know top government secrets, Nile Dok, someone who is sharing those top secrets to a civilian, and Kenny fucking Ackerman, the guy who killed over 100 MPs, was part of the old government, and was in prison before Erwin broke him out. If Megatron's comes up to them now with this information, they're going to ask how he got it, and he can't bring up their information. If he does, he's in deep shit, Nile loses his job, Erwin goes to prison, and Kenny will be killed. It's the same reason why they had to omit Erwin and Kenny from the report and say that it was Nile, Ymir, and Megatron who suspected Zeke's treachery. Megatron was already mistrusting of Zeke, Nile had info on the wine transportation, and Ymir was a witness. They have to frame it so that information gets told without sounding like a madman while no one gets arrested.

Third question

Kenny and Levi will interact in AOP. It's just way later. lol. But the other stuff I can't answer because that will be too many spoilers.

He, he refuses to hurt his haunt even if they hurt him, fuck you very much! —> this makes it hurt so, so much worse when he sees YJ members and tries to tell them to Run only for Dan to gun for them, and Danny doing his BestTM to protect Fright even when said fright is trying to stop him as he’s “evil” (Tim and co seeing Dan and going ‘oh. Evil Danny, like i have Gun Batman. Fuck.’)

7) Flash is being eaten alive as the price for getting a better timeline? Torture and villian origin and arc of team Phantom (current and former to the OG timeline) with everyone but Danny refusing to have Shit to do with them as ‘fuck you, your government and the audacity you rode in on’ as they are convinced Flash destroyed Amity for everyone else’s sake

8) Amity is given the same treatment as a contained Zombie Outbreak. And yes the oldest there are from a year or so above Jazz and they’ve been managing a community, childcare plus ghost fights and GIW invasions on their own since the Elders jumped ship at the first chance.

9) many ghosts are gunning for JL members as a side effect of them heeding GIW’s call. Do whatever mashups you want, but go Ham on the fights and let the ghosts be justified in their hatred for (perceived less equipped to handle ghosts) their treatment as ghosts and finally having a target that is less capable of genocide and mass incarceration across generations!

DP x DC Writing Prompt: Phashpoint's Phantom

If you were to ask Barry Allen on his opinion regarding young Danny Fenton/Phantom, he could talk for hours about the young Halfa and his happy family of Ghost Hunters.

The boy saved the entire planet from the Disasteroid and became one of the Young Justice's most powerful supernatural hitters while his female clone, Dani, also proved to be a valuable asset to the Teen Titans as well.

When Barry returned after the events of Flashpoint, on an Earth that was similar but different to the one he left behind prior... Barry was devastated and believed that the duo of Halfas were gone alongside many other young heroes.

But that was until a few years later when now Flash looked at the screen with disbelief after the League was contacted by a government branch known as the Ghost Investigation Ward.

According to them a dangerous ecto-entity they had contained has recently broken out and are now considered a threat to the entire planet, they are to be recaptured at all costs.

Flash had a bad feeling the entire time he stayed silent, but felt his fears were confirmed when the picture of a familiar face appeared on screen, attacking GIW bases.

"...Danny?"

Flash knew a lot of his friends had changed after the incident... But he didn't want to believe if the young Phantom truly became a villain or not. He wanted to believe in the boy who was ecstatic when he first set foot on the Watchtower for the first time, but... Could he?

(Or... In the Post-Crisis Era of DC Pre-Flashpoint, a Post-Phantom Planet canon Danny became a member of the Justice League but was missing in the Post-Flashpoint Earth. However Danny was in his own rebooted history where things turned out differently in his life, with a life more like most fanon Danny incarnations where he is contained by a more competent GIW until he escaped.)

Spent the rest of the day hanging out sho even introduced into some of the monsters that she's been living with and everyone became good friends and the monsters learnt that humans aren't as bad as they first thought but as the generations got older they've kind of evolved from when they were barricaded underground

I dont think I'll ever forgive how fans treated Jake Lloyd (the *child actor* for Anakin). Ya'll, they treated him like he was at fault for the character's speech, behavior, abilities, dialogue, and just like, forced his way into the film or something - he was like barely ten at the time and really had only a couple tv show appearances and some commercials under his belt. Lucas was the one to pick him out of around 3k kids. Lucas was the director. Lucas was the one responsible for the way it was. Instead, media outlets and fans violently dogpiled a kid and 1 adult actor whose only responsibilities was to act out the characters they played with what was given to them by the director.

Not to mention that so so so much of the hatred of Jar Jar is underlined with racist (and possibly ableist) ideas and language that goes unexamined. And, once again, completely ignoring Lucas' role in the creation and directing of the character.

Advice for anyone that hasn't watched the prequels and slogged through my rant:

1. Most fans of the prequels like it because of the ideas and themes behind the films, not the films themselves, and for good reason - they were mishandled and executed poorly. Fans like it so much because the ideas and themes *can* work together! I struggle to think of any other film that has attempted to tackle the themes the prequels did at that time.

2. The prequels as a whole are a tragedy with a lot of action packed in them. They are about the fall of a republic, a galaxy sized war, the rise of an authoritarian dictatorship, the genocide of an order of peacekeepers, and most importantly, the creation of one of America's (quite possibly the west as a whole) most iconic and culturally impactful villians.

3. They're just movies. I dont know why this is forgotten so much. Like with every other film in existence, they're not for everyone; this is fine. Just, please, stop shitting over everyone that does like them. If you do watch the prequels for the first time after this and didnt like them, a simple "I didnt like them" more than suffices.

man, the working conditions in this country are bad. i know a girl who worked in an NGO and her hours are ridiculous. a couple of times she had to leave town and when she came back home at 2 am she's expected to go back to work at 6 in the morning. my friend, the patrick bateman wannabe, he worked at a retail chain store during the pandemic and he have to pay for his own covid test everytime he gets symptoms (which was often because he was an essential worker with chronic illness) and he didnt get paid while he's on sick leave. a few months ago my sister was a temp worker in a cafe but she might as well be a staff who just dont have the benefits nor the job security because they kept calling her to come to work. even if she's permanently hired she will never get any substantial promotion because the hotel management spesifically stated they dont want their management position to be filled with people who might be distracted with childcare (women). my mom worked 10 hours six days a week cleaning hotel rooms to pay for my education and she was paid only 2/3 of the minimum wage there. my crush had to work from 5 am to 6 pm in his current job and the stress was too much he got sick on the first month of working there. i know another guy working as a courier and his job also required him to work 10-12 hours. hell, all of my previous jobs had a special day every week where it doesnt count as part of your job but you still had to come to do extra 4 hour work on top of your regular shifts. or jobs where they dont count the extra hours needed to close after a busy day. there was a point in my life where a coworker had to take me home almost everyday because we got overtime until its 1 am. the job i have now has much better hours but im still expected to be on-call everyday just in case a customer wanted something and i have to go see them. and my customers, if theyre not bougie, theyre a part of the working class that gets paid better than the rest of us and still they have unpaid overtime and stress that drains their will to have a hobby outside of getting shitfaced with your coworkers once a month. i was in trade school and one of my first memory of being there was seeing my classmates who majored in operating and fixing heavy mining equipments, most of them boys as young as 15, watching a "workplace safety" video that mostly consists of pictures of people getting crushed by cranes and trucks, and learning to accept that yes, there is a chance you'll die and there's nothing you can do about it. by the time im 20 years old i already know two cases where a friend of a friend died on their retail job from overwork. my crush almost died in a workplace accident once! i havent even talked about how my other friend wanted to be a nurse, to the point of advertising that her kidney was on sale on facebook marketplace, only to realize how little they get paid despite the expensive education, long working hours, and the health risks. i haven't even talked about the kind of shit sex workers here face on the job. or the little kids in my town who had to walk 10 kilometers a day every night before school selling tissue boxes and snacks to help pay the rent! its 2023 and child labor is still a thing! there are kids as young as eight years old who had to help their parents make stone bricks! and the worst part of how things get this bad is that we did try to stop things from getting worse. the working class in my country did organize and made progress, but we were all fucking killed for it. it wasnt just the us backed genocide in the 60s or the kidnappings in the 90s, there was so many cases of state repression that get swept under the rug. so no, i dont use morals when it comes to the bourgeoisie. i dont have sympathy and i wont make excuses when i say would kill even the children of the ultra-wealthy if i have to. theyre lucky my organizing job right now is talking to people and making stupid little pamphlets instead of shooting them.

warrior cats.

its violent. one of the characters (thistleclaw) is definitely not to be trusted around kits. an antagonist got very close to commiting child murder. tigerstar is actively genocidal. this series is messed up, and i was fine. i loved it. i only stopped reading it because i got bored.

how to train your dragon 1 ends with a mountain sized dragon exploding, covering the island in chunks of flesh. later books have themes of fascism and extremism. i read this when i was 8.

kids books are messed up too, but no one seems to complain about warriors, wings of fire, or how to train your dragon.

but you know what really confuses me? people let their children watch stranger things, and then complain about what kids read or see on tv. its absurd. you cant have both.

stuff i watched when i was young include, alien, terminator, south park, rick and morty, dark, and the hunger games.

i was fine. i loved watching some guy die from a penis-headed alien crawling out of his chest. i thought it was awesome. but my brother didnt want to see that, so he just chose not to watch it. kids will stop watching or reading something if they dont like it.

just to put my tags in a more coherent argument: yeah....fmab is not great....with this aspect imo. fmab decides the military characters who participated in genocide deserve more angsty backstory and sympathy from the audience than the actual victims, and all we get from ishvalans who are not scar are “we know not all amestrians are bad”  and stuff, and the only angry ishbalan is scar, whose vengeance is moralized as wrong and bad, and he has to change and join the military that genocided his race to be redeemed. that’s....kinda bullshit to me. 

fma 03 shows way more of the ishbalans’ side of things, what they experienced and what the after effects of the war was on them. it shows the racism and imperialism continuing. because it doesn’t just stop that easily. the soldiers are still developed as characters and we can sympathize with them, but the show tells us flat out “the military is fascist, imperialistic, and commits genocide and war crimes regularly for power and control, and even if the soldiers are just people following orders, they are still active participants and responsible for the suffering.” ed is right to say “no one should have to die” but it’s good that he isn’t able to stop scar from killing the 7000 amestrian soldiers who were in the process of another genocide. because scar says himself...this suffering will continue until drastic measures are taken. so even if his spirit never rests from the things he’s done, it’s a sacrifice he will make with conviction to stop the madness. he rallies people behind him--he isn’t the only person who is angry. he gets the marginalized groups to stand with him against the dictatorship. 

and it’s also worth noting that both mustangs’ goals are to play the game so he can get ahead enough to change it. this is...fine. in the context of fmab. i can’t criticize him in the context of fmab with its different themes. i know people who agree with the above thoughts probably also hate mustang full stop, but personally i love both versions of him for different reasons. and i love fmab mustang unironically for what he represents in his own story. he’s a young idealist who wants to change the system. but that doesn’t work in 03′s context. in 03′s context, he has to realize that playing the game to change it still means playing the game, and playing the game still means active participation in the continuing atrocities of the military he’s working for. so he redeems himself only when he sacrifices his goals, his position of power in the military, to put an end to the game full stop. he realizes the ends (him being fuhrer to change the country) no longer justify the means (standing by or participating in genocide until that happens). 

(important to note that he seems to be mainly motivated by vengeance for hughes in his final sacrifice, but that’s fine because it’s treated more as the tipping point. hughes represents something larger. hughes was the nail in the coffin that the military is corrupt.)

overall, i think fmab is a great story, but isn’t very good tackling real life problems with its military and racism portrayal. i find it....personally, distasteful. i don’t find it so bad that anyone who doesn’t have a problem with it is wrong or bad, because it IS just a story. a fantasy. an adventure. people can watch it and find it to have a good message, and that’s fine because an optimistic and idealistic message is good! but i don’t really like it in this case. i don’t like how fmab does it.

i feel fma 03 was on a higher level when it had scar say “my sympathy will not be spent on soldiers,” had roy said “i couldn’t stand by and be blind (to the atrocities) anymore,” had ed say “there will never be a war that isn’t in some part caused by all of us,” and had the narrative, the main conflict in the last act center around rising up against the military that is on track to another genocide, and showing us the perspectives of the victims. it was on a higher level, even if it was undoubtedly a strange and contrived plot point, to say amestris is the parallel to nazi germany in a literal sense, in case you didn’t Get That before, and you didn’t realize the amestris military are the equivalent of Nazis. just. in case you didnt Understand. to have its main protagonist, a white boy, be confronted with his racism and ultimately admit he has racist views and preconceived notions, is big brained. 

i will always say. both series are good. both have their own strengths and weaknesses, different themes and focuses. but in the case of the military and ishbal, i think fmab pales in comparison to fma 03. granted, because 03 makes it its main focus, while in fmab, its just a plot point moving us towards a different climax.
