Hey there! What’s your favorite episode of Bob’s Burgers that no one ever seems to talk about?

Hi Babs!

I will shriek to the heavens and back about Roller? I Hardly Know Her! Especially for a fandom that loves their poly ships as much as this one does. Because it has EVERYTHING!! The pining! The longing! Gene singing Alone by Heart (which is my favorite Heart song)! And Gene and Alex and Courtney are SO FREAKING CUTE in this episode! She wanted to dance with them!! 😭💜 And it was the boys' idea to help out! Then Mrs. Papasian going after frickin' Doug! Not to mention the B plot is really funny too and has lots of potential for the BLT poly ship. All around one of my all time favorite episodes!

Okay for the ship game ask. What do you think about Gene/Alex/Courtney (aka the GAC Pack)?

What made you ship it? Other fans’ ideas about them made me consider them! As well, their dynamics are really adorable. Courtney was annoying in her first episode but she's grown on me. Honestly, I found Alex a tad cringe in his first episode as well; Gene just draws likeminded kids, lol. They're all authentic!

What are your favorite things about the ship? They're all wacky in their own ways. Courtney and Gene help Alex stand out, Alex and Courtney make Gene feel loved, and Alex and Gene are Courtney's roadies, lol. They all work together. All of them have surnames which makes tagging them so much easier.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? I'm not sure that anyone has beef with GAC Pack in general. It's one of the more popular Gene ships and it's cute.

babs. thank you for this request. i feel like i grew so much as a writer from this. when i got it i was like "pshhh texting will be easy" i was so wrong!!!! this originally started out as like a 6k word gene & alex & zeke adventure and i hated it. i COULD NOT make it work. i was feeling so discouraged and i considered not doing it at all and then i was like. nobody is holding me at gunpoint to write it like this. and then i changed it and now i love it so much!!! so lesson learned i can stop writing something a certain way even if i love the idea (and i will definitely be recycling the original premise for something else)! okay i am running on like 45 minutes of sleep and a dr. pepper so that is all i will say ily byeeeeee
