okay but can we talk about how ???? Lucius is with Edward? Like this man is a freak I can’t hold it in anymore. How did one episode make a man get revealed as a fucking freak in a way.

Ed has both gassed up a entire group of cops which made them fear about a poison threat he made up, held Lucius’s coworker hostage dangling over a flight of stairs, admitted to having something to do with their missing mayor via omission (not responding at all when Lucius asked him about it) broke into Lucius’s car and pointed a gun at him once Lucius got in ALL IN THE SAME DAY AND HE DOESN'T FREAK OUT ONCE???? He doesn’t freak out at all with Edward. Never once does he freak out. He stays level headed, empathetic and genuinely caring about Edward’s mental state while talking to him???? The way he’s so level headed here feels like he has a fucking screw loose in his cranium. Literally how.

Mind you Ed is a man who his first interaction with was ED ADMITTING HE HAD A MISSING COP IN HIS HOME VIA A RIDDLE. HIS SECOND INTERACTION WITH THIS MAN IS HIM MAKING HIM ANSWER FUCKING RIDDLES IN ARKHAM OR ELSE HE WILL KILL THEM BOTH WITH POISON. I KNOW HE WAS BLUFFING ABOUT THE POISON HERE AGAIN BUT GENUINELY HOW IS HE ALWAYS LEVEL HEADED WITH THIS MAN. FREAK BEHAVIOR!!!!

Also him acting like this strengthens the fact the only riddle he got right was reflection. He understands at least some part of Ed. Even though that part is small and fuzzy in his understanding, it’s still something. It’s still something that he can empathize with. Something that is worth trying to understand more of even despite their brief encounters. God do I love his weird push over ways with Ed it’s so fucking fun I wish they interacted more. This is horrific for me

twitter users who've never picked up a pencil or pen in their life are so definitive about what they think is AI usage. like you got artists posting timelapses and speedpaints to show their process and people will accuse them of feeding AI data sets and cheating regardless.

gotta draw well but not too well because that's AI. but also if you fuck up on hands, something that is notoriously Easy To Draw, Obviously (sarcasm, in case this is not obvious), or you use a chainmail brush or literally any brush tool designed to make doing details easier and not take 20 years drawing things individually, then that's obviously a sign of AI usage.

you can't fucking win on that website. like no i dont think you people can spot AI as well as you think you can.

so she is definitely a star of some kind. i mean she is an angel but in that story in particular The Stars are kind of angels. like they’re otherworldly beings and they jus kinda hang out. cosmically. it’s a different dimension separated from the human one but like, obviously stars still exist for humans, they just don’t do anything crazy because the rules of the world dictate that their realities shouldn’t interact. angels can observe the other world from far up above yet they still exist on a different level. But tbh zavijava had never enjoyed the otherworldly ethereal whatever lifestyle—she just didn’t feel like she fit in there. she is a #1 humans fan though so she knows that’s where she’d fit in. so she does just that. she fits in perfectly :) and normally :) yay :)

i feel like media reviews have gotten more and more useless to me. rotten tomatoes and letterboxed ratings have nothing to do with whether i'll enjoy a movie or not. goodreads ratings regularly give 4+ stars to books i hate and 3 stars to books i love with all my heart. it's coming to the point now where i really am like. okay i just have to experience this myself and see if i like it bc the only person's taste who i trust is mine.

whenever some prolific author says some dumbass shit on twitter or whatever it's like obviously discrediting to their personal image but I don't know them so that doesn't matter. What does matter to me is the retroactive realization that they don't give a shit about the basic core of writing, such as Words Mean Things, and as a result their work scoots a few notches down the scale of "intentionally thought provoking and introspective" towards "monkey-with-typewriter type fluke" and there is no amount of literary impact that's going to make me slide that rating back up
