You think to yourself, "ehh I'll skip saving drafts like usual" because you're lazy and it starts out as a short fic so why bother saving and decide to use the AO3 text window to write and it turns into a longer fic

look, i believe the silhouettes were not yolanda and lucy passing on to the afterlife. they were yolanda and cassandra, cassandra was leading her into her version of heaven.

the only person who's constantly being described as a teenage girl is cassandra, it makes sense for her to walk yolanda's soul out (because kristen saved that soul using cassandra's powers of doubt and mystery) so it narratively makes sense, it also makes sense if u consider that lucy is VERY tall so her silhouette would not look like a teenage girl next to her teacher as she's probably taller than her, but ALSO it makes sense bc brennan did not narrate what happened to lucy's soul when kristen did the same thing she did to her teacher to her, he simply chose to look at the scene from the outside (from gorgug and fabians eyes) all this to say i really do believe lucy might still be out there, still alive, lost in time maybe but not completely gone

Acronix enters the Ninjago Museum of History, excited to finally be reunited with his brother.

He remembers the plan they'd had since they were kids: if they ever got separated, they'd meet in the portraits hall of the museum.

Acronix gets there, standing in front of a painting depicting the Serpentine War. Ah, memories.

He stands there, waiting idly.

Perhaps Krux was late. They never exactly planned out a time for their reunion. Of course Krux would be a few minutes late.

He starts fidgeting with his fingers and humming a little tune.

Perhaps Krux was asleep. Krux would've been an old man by now. Old people love sleeping.

One by one, the bright lights above him start to turn off.

Now Acronix was standing there, alone and in darkness.

Perhaps Krux was running to the museum right now, embarrassed at how late he was. Then the two of them would laugh it off.

Perhaps Krux was late.

Does anyone still remember the "Flowey is not a good Life Coach" series from years ago? Cuz I do, and after rewatching Vade/Calysto's dub of the comic I remembered that it was based on a fanfic, which I immediately went to go and read again. And... well, needless to say I'm ruined. I kinda wanna kick past me for stopping barely into fic, but also I'm so glad I didn't put myself through all that despair and the entire emotional rollercoster that is that story. I... I need some wholesome Flowey content after all of that. I'll start by revisiting the Floweypot AU. Yeah.
