The air was crisp, with a soft breeze carrying the scent of freshly popped popcorn and cotton candy as we made our way through the zoo. Aria skipped ahead, her excitement practically radiating off her in waves as she tugged at Jensen’s hand, pulling him toward the direction of the elephant exhibit.
“Come on, come on!” she squealed, her little voice filled with pure joy. “I want to see the elephants first!”
Jensen grinned down at her, letting her lead the way. “Alright, princess. Elephants it is,” he said, his tone playful as he glanced back at me with that familiar warmth in his eyes. It still took me by surprise sometimes—how naturally he fit into our lives, how easily he had bonded with Aria.
We had spent the whole week planning this trip to the zoo, and Aria had barely contained her excitement the night before, chattering on and on about the elephants. They had always been her favorite. She loved their big ears, their gentle eyes, and the way they moved so slowly and gracefully despite their size.
When we finally reached the elephant exhibit, Aria pressed her face against the railing, her eyes wide as she stared at the giant creatures.
“Look, Mommy! They’re so big!” she exclaimed, pointing at the elephants as they slowly lumbered across the enclosure.
I smiled, leaning down next to her. “They are, baby. Aren’t they beautiful?”
Jensen knelt down beside her, his hand resting gently on her back. “Did you know elephants are one of the smartest animals in the world?”
Aria’s eyes lit up with curiosity. “Really?”
“Really,” he said, nodding. “They can remember things for years, and they even have their own way of talking to each other.”
I watched them interact, my heart swelling with affection. Aria hung on Jensen’s every word, soaking in everything he said as if it were the most fascinating thing in the world. And the way he looked at her—with such patience, such care—it made my chest ache in the best way possible. He even bought her a stuffed animal elephant that she’s going to love and cherish forever.
The day passed in a blur of laughter and excitement. We explored every corner of the zoo, from the giraffes to the penguins to the big cats, and Aria loved every second of it. Jensen carried her on his shoulders when her little legs got tired, and I couldn’t stop smiling, watching the two of them together. It felt so easy, so right—like we were already a family.
As the sun started to dip low in the sky, casting a golden glow over the zoo, we decided to head home. Aria had fallen asleep in the back seat before we even left the parking lot, exhausted from the excitement of the day. I glanced at Jensen, his hands resting on the steering wheel as he drove, his eyes soft as he watched the road.
“Thank you,” I said quietly, reaching over to rest my hand on his arm. “For today. It meant so much to her.”
Jensen smiled, his hand covering mine, squeezing gently. “It meant a lot to me too, Y/N. I love spending time with you both.”
I smiled back, feeling the warmth of his words settle into my heart. “We love spending time with you too.”
When we got home, I tucked Aria into bed making sure she had her stuffed animal Elephant close to her, which she decided to call him “Dumbo” from the Disney movie. Jensen and I were sitting on the couch, basking in the glow of the perfect day, laughing about Aria’s excitement over the elephants and how she had tried to convince Jensen to adopt one as a pet.
But then we heard a knock at the door — wondering who it could be at this hour. And to my dismay, standing at the front door, leaning against the frame with a scowl on his face, was Aria’s dad. I hadn’t seen him in months—hadn’t heard from him since the day he decided being a father was too much responsibility for him. And now, here he was, showing up unannounced like he had any right to be here.
I felt my stomach twist with a mix of anxiety and anger as I looked at him. Jensen’s eyes were immediately on me, his expression hardening when he followed my gaze and saw who was waiting for us.
“Y/N,” my ex said, his voice dripping with annoyance. “We need to talk.”
I straightened my back, trying to keep my voice calm. “What are you doing here?”
He shrugged, pushing off the doorframe. “I figured it was time I saw my daughter. I’ve got rights, you know.”
My jaw clenched. The audacity of him showing up here after all this time—after abandoning Aria and me—was almost too much to handle. “You don’t get to just show up out of nowhere, acting like you care.”
He rolled his eyes, stepping closer, and I could see the anger in his expression. “Don’t act like I’m the bad guy, Tianna. You kept me out of her life.”
“YOU abandoned me when I got pregnant! And now all of sudden that’s my fault that you’re not part of her life!?” I say, frustration and anger in my voice. I couldn’t believe the bullshit that was coming out of his mouth.
I could feel the tension building, my chest tightening with the familiar hurt and frustration that always seemed to follow him. But before I could say anything else, Jensen stepped forward, placing himself between me and my ex. His presence was solid, protective, and the look in his eyes was cold as steel.
“That’s enough,” Jensen said, his voice calm but dangerous. “You’ve got no right to talk to her like that.”
My ex narrowed his eyes, clearly irritated by Jensen’s presence. “Who the hell are you?” he snapped, looking Jensen up and down like he was sizing him up.
Jensen didn’t back down. “I’m the one who’s been here for Y/N and Aria while you’ve been off doing whatever the hell you’ve been doing. You want to talk? You do it with respect.”
My ex let out a bitter laugh, shaking his head. “Respect? You’re just some random guy she’s messing around with.”
Jensen’s jaw tightened, but he didn’t rise to the bait. Instead, he took a step closer, his voice dropping low. “I’m the man who’s taking care of your daughter and the woman you walked out on. So, unless you’ve got something useful to say, I suggest you leave.”
There was a beat of silence, tension crackling in the air. My ex stared at Jensen, clearly trying to decide if he wanted to push the issue, but something in the way Jensen stood—calm, steady, unflinching—made him think twice. With a scoff, he turned his back on us, muttering under his breath as he walked away.
I stood there, my heart racing, watching as he disappeared into the night. It wasn’t until he was completely out of sight that I let out the breath I’d been holding.
Jensen turned to me, his eyes softening as he took my hand. “You okay?”
I nodded, feeling a wave of relief wash over me. “Yeah... I just can’t believe he showed up like that.”
Jensen pulled me into his arms, holding me tight. “He won’t bother you again, sweetheart. I’ll make sure of it.”
I melted into his embrace, feeling safe in a way I hadn’t felt in a long time. “Thank you,” I whispered against his chest, my voice shaky with emotion.
Jensen kissed the top of my head, his hand stroking my back. “You don’t have to thank me, sweetheart. I’m here for you. For both of you.”
Later that night, I stood by the window, staring out at the street, still shaken from earlier. My ex’s sudden appearance had dredged up so many emotions—anger, hurt, fear. Even though he was gone, the memory of his harsh words lingered like a dark cloud over the perfect day we had spent at the zoo.
I hated that he had this power over me, even now. I hated that he could show up and stir up all that hurt after being absent for so long. He had no right to disrupt our lives like this, especially not after everything I had built with Aria on my own. And now, with Jensen in the picture, things were different. We were different.
I felt strong, but in moments like this, that strength wavered.
“Hey,” Jensen’s voice was soft as he walked up behind me, his arms slipping around my waist. I leaned back against him, closing my eyes and letting the warmth of his body calm the storm inside me. “You’ve been quiet since he left.”
I sighed, my heart heavy. “I just can’t stop thinking about him—how he thinks he can just show up and disrupt everything. It’s like he thinks he has some right to Aria, when he’s never been there for her. Or for me.”
Jensen turned me around to face him, his eyes filled with understanding. “I get it, babe. He walked away when you needed him the most, and now he wants to pretend he’s entitled to something. But he’s not. He doesn’t get to just come in and make demands.”
I looked up into his eyes, grateful for the reassurance, but still, a part of me couldn’t shake the fear. “What if he tries to come back again? What if he causes trouble? I don’t want Aria to be hurt by him.”
Jensen’s expression hardened, his jaw tightening. “He won’t, I promise you that. I won’t let him near you or Aria. He had his chance, and he blew it. I’m here now, and I’m not going anywhere.”
The intensity in his voice sent a wave of comfort through me. I believed him. I always did. Jensen wasn’t just saying those words—he meant them. Every touch, every look, every moment we’d shared had proven that he wasn’t going to leave. Not like my ex had.
I reached up, brushing my fingers along his jaw, feeling the stubble beneath my touch. “I’m so glad you’re here,” I whispered, my voice thick with emotion.
Jensen leaned down, his lips brushing against mine. The kiss started soft, but there was something deeper there—something more urgent. His hands tightened around my waist, pulling me closer, and I felt that familiar spark ignite between us.
“You have no idea how much love you, Y/N,” he murmured against my lips, his breath warm as his hands slid up my sides, teasing the edge of my shirt. “Every time I look at you, I fall harder.”
My heart raced, the weight of his words sinking in as his mouth moved to my neck, leaving a trail of heated kisses down to my collarbone. His touch was intoxicating, making me forget everything but him—forget the pain, forget the fear.
“I love you too,” I breathed, my fingers tangling in his hair as I pressed my body against his. “Jensen…”
He lifted me easily, my legs wrapping around his waist as he carried me toward the bedroom, his lips never leaving mine. The air between us was charged with that electric pull, that undeniable need that had been building since the moment we met.
Once inside the room, he laid me down on the bed, his body hovering over mine as his gaze locked onto me with a fierce intensity. “You’re mine, baby. All of you. I’m never letting you go.”
I shivered at the possessiveness in his voice, feeling the heat in my core build as his hands slid down my body, tugging at the hem of my shirt before pulling it over my head. “I don’t want you to,” I whispered, my breath catching as he kissed me again, deeper this time.
Every kiss, every touch was filled with that unspoken promise—that no matter what happened, Jensen was here to stay. And as his hands roamed my body, exploring every inch of me with a burning desire, I knew that he was right. We were building something real, something lasting, and no one—especially not my ex—could take that away from us.
Jensen’s POV
Watching Y/N underneath me, her lips swollen from our kisses, her breath coming in soft, ragged gasps, I knew there was no turning back. I’d never felt anything like this before—this all-consuming need to be with someone, to protect them, to make sure they knew just how much they meant to me.
She looked up at me, her eyes dark and full of trust, and it hit me right then and there—I didn’t want to spend another day without her. I wanted to be the man she and Aria could rely on for the rest of their lives.
“Y/N,” I murmured, my hands sliding down to her hips as I kissed her again, slower this time, savoring the way her body responded to mine. “There’s something I’ve been thinking about.”
Her eyes fluttered open, her breath catching as she looked up at me. “What is it?”
I paused for a moment, feeling the weight of the moment settle in my chest. I’d never done this before, but with her, it felt right. Hell, it felt like the only thing that made sense.
I sat up, pulling her with me until we were both sitting on the edge of the bed. Her shirt was gone, and her hair was a mess, but she looked so damn beautiful, it took my breath away. I reached into the pocket of my jeans, my heart pounding in my chest as I pulled out the small box I’d been carrying around for days, waiting for the right moment.
“This,” I said softly, holding up the box, “is what I’ve been thinking about.”
Y/N’s eyes widened, her hand flying to her mouth as she stared at the box in my hand. “Jensen…”
I opened it, revealing the simple yet elegant ring inside. “I know it’s fast. I know we haven’t been together for that long, but I’ve never been more sure of anything in my life. You and Aria… you’re everything to me. I want to be here for you, every day, for the rest of our lives.”
Tears filled her eyes as she looked from the ring to me, her lips trembling. “Jensen…”
“I love you, Y/N. I love Aria. I want to build a life with you, and I’m asking you to marry me. To let me be the man who takes care of you, who protects you, and who loves you for the rest of my life.”
For a moment, she was silent, her hand still covering her mouth as tears streamed down her cheeks. My heart raced, waiting for her answer, but the look in her eyes told me everything I needed to know.
“Yes,” she whispered, her voice breaking as she smiled through the tears. “Yes, I’ll marry you.”
Relief and joy surged through me as I slipped the ring onto her finger, pulling her into my arms. I kissed her deeply, pouring every ounce of love I had into that kiss, knowing that from this moment on, everything was about to change.
She was mine, and I was hers. Forever.
Reader’s POV
And in that moment, I knew without a doubt that he meant every word. Jensen wasn’t just part of my life—he was part of our family, and nothing, not even Aria’s dad, could change that.

Pirate Playmates
I’ve found myself on a pirate ship, fending off invaders of the uncivilized sort with a saber in hand and a feathered hat upon my head.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Captain Kleo, we’re taking on water!” I shout, causing the crew to panic.
Kleo raises her own sword to the sky, one eye covered by an eyepatch and tangled hair catching wind. “No matter, I shall call upon the mermaids! They owe me a favor see, said anytime I need them—”
She starts to ramble on with another story that’s almost too good to be true (which is most certainly the case), but First Mate Felix shakes her shoulders as the ship quakes.
Wooden planks creak and the ship wavers much too far to the left, then to the right. The flag rips in the wind and actual mist coats my face. “Kleo, hurry!” Felix cries, launching Kleo into action. She delicately takes off her hat and sets it upon Felix’s head, then runs full speed at the edge of the decking and jumps, swan diving to her death.
This can’t be part of the game.
I gasp and run to the edge, taking hold of the chipped railing with blanched knuckles. But of course, a safety net of magickal vines holds a flailing Kleo, slowly lowering her to the ground before dissipating into a green dust. Arlo peeks around the tree trunk holding up our ship, glitter in his hair and a silken red ‘tail’ trailing the ground behind him.
“Captain Kleo! It’s been so long since we last met, are you alright?” He asks in a high pitched tone, full dramatics in effect.
He’s amazing.
With the kids, of course. Around them, he’s warm hearted and fun, with the right words always there for curious, vulnerable hearts. Felix is a strong Empath, he wandered in my mind by accident on the way over and I had to raise my defenses. I wonder what the boy sees in me, why he’s so curious. I suppose most people are, but my gut tells me something more is going on.
Dusan watches with a small group of kids that chose to watch our impromptu pirate play rather than participate. All ages are sprawled out in the soft grass a short distance away, shaded by an autumnal blooming cherry tree.
I’m not quite sure how we got here, but I don’t mind one bit.
Kleo holds her nose, making blub blub noises as she ‘treads water’ with her other hand. Arlo waves his hands in the air, causing Kleo to draw in a breath of air. She feels at the imaginary gills that have protruded on her neck. I grin, her acting is superb.
“We need help! My ship, we need patching, could you help me? My crew will die if we don’t save them!” She cries.
On cue, the trunk sways harshly and I’m thrown overboard, along with a small fae boy. I catch him in my arms, but a scream escapes my throat.
Vines are conjured to life once more, gently lowering us to the ground. Cheers erupt from the ship above us. I sheepishly look up to Arlo through the mud sloshed onto my face. He bites his lip, hiding a smile as he takes the boy from my arms and slings him onto his hip like he’s done it a thousand times before.
He helps me up with his other hand, but there’s no time to waste as the ship shudders atop the enchanted trunk. He points at the mud pit surrounding the bottom of the tree, revealing a very obvious hole in the bottom of the pirate ship. (was that there before?)
“Let us borrow the earth, it shall help us.” He says in a serious, wise merwoman voice.
One of my favorite scenes, and I have large prints of it in my bookstore! Art by @gagakumadraws

A Smile
“Morning.” The voice startles you, making drops of white paint fly right on your face. “Gosh, sorry, sorry. Didn't mean to startle you.”
When you look up at him, standing near the back door, you try not to look too annoyed. “It's alright. I just got used to the silence.”
“Yeah. Me too.”
“Hm.” You mutter, looking back to the wooden railing. “I'm guessing you don't have any other clothes than this awful Hellfire Club shirt, do you?” You ask because you hear him using the shower before coming out.
“Nope. I don't.”
You make a pause, the painting brush hovering an inch from the wood, white paint dropping on the newspaper below. “I... I have some clothes I could give you.” It comes out low, too low, because Eddie steps closer, bending over a little. Biting your lip, you put the brush down and get up. It's a fast decision, and you're moved by the same feeling that made you fight with the kids. This sense of... Family? Of unity, shared only by people who have been through hell together. And Eddie seems to be part of this now. “But I want them back. Washed.” You know you're doing this the wrong way. You're letting go of a tiny part of Billy, but only if you can have it back.
“Sure, sure.” He's fast to say.
“Okay.” In a hush, you walk back inside, listening to Eddie follow on your heels. As if he wasn't here. Yeah, oh course.
The single piece of baggage is under your bed, and you pull it, sitting on the floor in front of it. Pulling the zipper open, you swallow dry. You didn't keep all of his clothes, but you have enough for someone to live with. And of course, the red shirt is right on top. Taking it, you feel the familiar tears pooling in your eyes, blurring your sight.
It was his favorite, and yours too. You remember the first time you saw him with it when you went out on a date. The seventh, you believe, you stopped counting. Standing by his car, you asked if he knew what buttons were for since he never used them. Billy smiled, took your hand, and places it on the bare skin of his chest. His heart was beating fast, as fast as yours. You ripped one of the buttons off that day, he pretended to be mad and kissed you.
“You okay?” Eddie asks suddenly, walking to stand near the bed, his voice soft and full of worry.
Clearing your throat, you nod, discreetly wiping the tears off. “This one is missing a button.” It's the excuse you give before searching deeper in the baggage. You pick three shirts and three pairs of pants and put them on the bed. Quickly, you close the baggage and push it back under the bed. “There, you've got some options.” You get up. “I want them back when this mess is over.” And you walk out, holding back more tears.
Eddie mutters something you don't hear, and when you're on the back porch again, you burst out into tears as you sit back before the railing, resuming your task.
“I can't believe you gave some freak my clothes,” Billy says, in that fake annoyed tone he liked to use with you.
“Oh, you don't have to be selfish.” You smile, covering wood in white. “...Or jealous.”
“I am very selfish of what is mine, Princess.” His very tone makes you smirk, cheeks going hot. Billy kneels behind you, arms surrounding your waist as he breathes on your neck. A trick he liked to use because he knows it makes you weak.
“And am I yours?”
“Absolutely.” He replies, his voice low on your ear. “Today and always.”
“Now, that's news to me.” Turning around, you move quickly, pushing the brush on his arm.
“Oh, you naughty girl!” Billy exclaims and starts to try and take the brush from you. Drops of paint start flying around getting you both dirty. But you don't mind, as long as he ends up dirtier than you.
“Do you want some help?” Again, you're startled back to reality, brush in hand, soaking a spot on the wood, making the pain roll down its length.
“No. I'm alright. You should stay inside.” You tell him, fixing the mess and moving to another part of the railing.
“If anyone comes, we'll hear them.” Eddie crouches next to you as if analyzing as you paint.
Sighing, you turn to look at him. And the sight of Billy's clothes, being worn by someone else, hits you like a bus. Covering your mouth, you can't control yourself, not this time. You break down in front of this stranger, the only impulse of protection being to bring both hands to cover your face.
“Hey, hey,” Eddie says, touching your shoulder. “It's alright. I'll change back into my clothes, don't worry.”
Crying, you shake your head. “No. You don't have to.” Pushing yourself up, you walk back inside, locking yourself in your room and lying down to cry for who knows how long.
•••
Your heart nearly stops when the door bursts open. For a moment you think of moving for the gun on the coffee table, but you disarm yourself when you see Max.
A very, very scared Max.
“What happened?” You ask, and the girl comes straight into your arms. Holding her tight, you feel as sobs rock her body.
Lucas, Steve, and Dustin come in right after, pushing the door close. They also look nervous, and pale. “Vecna...” Lucas says in low voice. “It almost got her.”
“Shit...” Pulling away from her a little, you look at her. “Hey. It's alright. Come.” Slowly, you pull her to your bedroom, making her lie down.
And when she finally talks, what she tells you happened is expected.
“She saw Billy.” You tell the guys when you're back in the living room after you rocked Max to sleep. “Vecna made her see Billy.”
Steve nods and immediately comes back to embrace you in a bear hug. But you don't cry. Not now. You have to think.
“She only made it out because of what Nancy and Robin found,” Lucas explains as Steve let you go and guides you to the couch. “Music can make a bright between worlds. So, in theory, when you listen to your favorite song, it makes it possible for you to come back. Like Max did.”
“What's your favorite song?” Eddie asks after some moments of silence.
It makes you confused, but you guess it's only natural since you're also a possible target. “Sweet Child O' Mine.” You say, looking down at your hands.
“Have your walkman with you at all times, with the song playing,” Steve speaks. “As a protection.”
“Alright... But we need to move. We need an offensive of some kind. We need something else. A headstart.”
“Well...” Dustin mutters, and you look at him, eyebrow raised. “We were in the woods earlier and the compass-”
“You had a clue and didn't tell me right away?” You snap, sighing.
“I was going to!”
“When?”
“Now!”
“So spill it.”
He takes a breath. “I think it's connected with Vecna. Because it was acting crazy.” He makes a pause. “And it pointed at the lake.”
“Lover's Lake?” Your throat feels dry, but you do your best not to let it show in your voice. Dustin simply nods.
“Patrick died there.” Steve adds.
“Then that's our next move because sitting here waiting for the next victim won't be of any help.” That said, you get up. “Tomorrow, after the sun sets. Tell the girls. Lucas, you'll stay here with Max. Dustin too.”
“Alright.” He quickly agrees.
“So who will it be?” Eddie asks, and everyone looks at him. “Steve, the other two girls, you and me?”
Furrowing your eyebrows, you shrug. “You don't have to come. This is dangerous. I wouldn't blame anyone for choosing to sit this one out.”
“Maybe you should,” Dustin speaks out.
“Me? Why?”
“He's right.” Lucas agrees.
“Because you're grieving.” Is Steve who answers. “You're... You're not getting better, you're not moving on. Vecna will smell that from miles away.”
They are right. But you can't sit this one out. Not when their lives are in danger. Theirs and anyone in this town who has been through something bad. “No. I'm going.” You decide, despite knowing you're on the line of fire. “Tomorrow after sunset.”
•••
On the next morning, you make Max some breakfast and have a hell of a fight about your plan. She wants to go, but you won't let her, and it takes a long time and some yelling to make her stay. Billy is mentioned once or twice, with her saying you sound just like him, bossing her around, and you saying she's just like him, stubborn as a mule.
After the argument is over, she agrees to stay behind this time. Lucas and Dustin come at the end of the afternoon, and you leave them to talk as you go to the back porch, wanting some time alone with your thoughts. And memories.
But when you get there, you notice the porch is completely painted white. “What...”
“I hope you don't mind,” Eddie says, coming to stand next to you. “I didn't get any paint on your boyfriend's clothes, I promise.” He makes a pause, and you look at him. Eddie shrugs his shoulders, gesturing at his head. “Can't say the same about my hair, though.”
That makes you giggle, and you pace around the porch, checking it out. “You made a good job... Thanks.” Turning to look at him, you cross your arms. “I know I'm not... The most welcoming host. I'm just...”
“You're still mourning your boyfriend. It's alright.”
“Billy wasn't my boyfriend. We... Had this thing going on ever since he came here. But it was never official. Real, that's for sure. But not official.”
“It's him you see, right?” He asks, walking over to you, but looking at the woods behind the house. “When you're... Out of orbit.” Silently, you nod. Then, there's silence. You don't know what to say, and neither does Eddie. but you don't mind. Maybe there's nothing to be said. “It's clear you miss him a lot...” Eddie breaks the silence after a while. “If not, you'd be a better host, that's for sure.” Chuckling, you elbows him on the side. “Ouch! Hey!”
“Well, you started.”
“Didn't know you were a violent host too. I would have found another place to hide.” He rubs his side, making a show of pretending he's hurt. “How am I supposed to help tomorrow after you broke my ribs, lady?”
“Suck it up.” You suggest, a small smile on your face.
Eddie stands up straight, his face taking on a sweet expression. “There it is. See? That's everything I wanted, a smile.”
You feel your cheeks blushing, so you roll your eyes, looking away from him. “Freak.”
“I've heard we're all freaks here.”

Hello🐹 I has a request- some of the MHA/BNHA boys that get hard when his fem!S/O puts on lip gloss? like- the shine that it gives her lips would look so good around his hard cock :)
other details- non-hero!UA and this is NOT to fetishize black people!!! (I'm black anyway)
only if you're comfortable and if requests are open 😊
remember to drink water and eat daily ☺
Omg my first request- okay okay so I’m gonna try my best because this is my first request and full blown drabble post so yea! I wasn’t sure which characters to pick so I just went with the ones I think would fit well with this! As always characters are aged up. Hope u enjoy! And yes requests are open! warnings: basically some smut and some small fluff
Iida: oohhh man this dude did not expect you to put on lip gloss, especially in that pretty pink glittery shade. You two were enjoying your day waltzing around town when you stopped to use a public restroom and while he was outside waiting you had an idea and decided to use an expensive gloss momo had bought you a while back. You slicked it on your lips and walked out innocently as if you didn’t know what you were doin. Iida hadn’t noticed until you started talking about getting some food when he saw those pretty lips and instantly felt his pants become uncomfy. Needless to say, he pulled you into a cafe and shoved you into the bathroom where well you got covered in some Other kinda white substance ;>
Bakugou: you two were expected at a party and as usual you had taken longer then him not our fault the man takes less time to get ready 🙄. Anywho, you had gotten all dolled up in a pretty red dress and black heels. You were just finishing up your makeup when you saw the gloss youve had but never used, so without thought you decided to put it on since the shade was a nice touch to your makeup and outfit. While bakugou was sitting on the couch on his phone he heard the bedroom door cream open and the clicks of your heels walking over. He finally looked up from his phone to ask if your dumbass was finally ready when he stopped mid sentence to see those pretty red lips. So he stood up, slung you over his shoulder and carried you back into the bedroom you came from, party long forgotten.
Izuku: Today was yours and Izukus date as a 1 year anniversary so you wanted to go all out. Pretty outfit pretty hair pretty everything. You used all your favorite makeup products including that signature glittery lip gloss you wore only on special occasions. You covered your lips and puckered them up and basically hyped your beautiful ass up cause girlboss obviously. Once you got ready you heard a knock at your door to which you went to anwser and saw izuku in his gorgeous suit and tie and flowers ready in hand. Of course the boy was shy and stumbled over his words to ask if you were ready. You nodded and began to follow him out to the car. You both had a wonderful date however when you two had gotten to his place was when the fun began. You two went inside and basically went at it like rabbits, clothes flying, hands gripping in every place, and that’s when he was ontop of you that he said he did not want that pretty gloss go to waste. Needless to say he woke up with kisses all over him especially in the lower region <3
Todoroki: Shoto being the sweet boy he was planned a little getaway to a flower field since he knew you both were interested in nature and such. He had gotten ready first and while waiting for you he took a small nap to rest up before the long drive there. You on the otherhand had different plans. You had prepared a cute cottage core like outfit with light makeup and some added on freckles, you were trying to go for a fairy/elf look. So obviously you wanted to look glowy and mysterious and what better shimmery thing to use then lip gloss. You put on your favorite shimmery pink tint one and was on your way to wake up sho. When you did though he just sat and stared for a moment before asking “Did I die or something why is there an angel in front of me???” You had giggled and thanked him for the compliment (though he actually thought you were) and got him up and you two were on your way to the flower field. Needless to say you got railed in a very pretty setting with lip gloss smudged all over shotos face and body.
Kirishima: Kirishima had been watching you do your makeup for a while now, just admiring your features before and after and enjoying every second of it. He had said his occasional yet meaningful compliment everytime you did a new part of the makeup but when he saw you grab the one weakness product he was done for. You hadn’t noticed for a while now but whenever you used that gloss it drove Kiri mad. The way he only pictured your pretty lips rapped around his red riot dick with your eyeliner smudged just made the man go insane with lust. He had been staring for a while now so when you asked if he was alright all he could say was “ please let me fuck you” to which you were surprised but happily agreed and let him do what he had been fantasizing about everytime you wore that dammed gloss.
Shinsou: It was a date set at a cat cafe obviously. You two had been snuggling cats and sipping coffee for a while now when you realized your gloss had lost its touch so you reapplied it and that’s when he saw it in all its glory, oh how he wished you had been under him whining about how it was to much and that all he could say was that you could take it like a good kitty. He was now in a daze when he felt you poke his cheek and he just smirked and began to whisper seductive words in your ear and you just had to play it cool since others were around, only allowing the occasional blush and whine here and there. When you two got home however was when the real fun began and his fantasy became a reality.
Ack! I’m so sorry this is so bad- it’s like 1am rn and this isn’t proofread so if theres any mistakes or anything you’d like changed or someone added please let me know as I’m open to (kind) criticism! I hope you enjoyed none the less though thanks for the request love <3

When you and Bucky returned to New York, you were ready for a few more days of relaxation. The matchmakers had been quick to tell every fucking Avenger they had contact with, but they’d been polite enough to not harass you too much.
Amidst the chaos, you had caught up on sleep and your favorite TV shows, also being able to organize your room for the first time in months. You were alright with having an even longer break. However, your hopes were quickly dashed.
You and Bucky were both relaxing on your balcony, a fluffy blanket tucked around your shoulders as you laid on top of him. You were talking about future missions, discussing a low-threat mob that had popped up recently.
“Their cover is, like, a moving company,” you explained, trying to recall the name. “It was hella stupid. Oh… What was it… Oh!” You snapped as the name came to mind. “‘Trust-A-Bro’!”
“‘Trust-A-Bro?”
“Yeah. It’s really bad.”
And then police sirens rang out, shortly followed by the whirs of helicopter blades and the telltale spotlights that told you all you needed to know. You sighed, resting your head on Bucky’s chest.
“Damn. I was kind of ready to do nothing,” you complained as you retreated inside. You grabbed the gold chain that held your suit, clipping it on as the super-soldier began tugging on the layers of tactical gear he wore.
“It’s never that simple, is it?” he added, watching curiously as you grabbed a spare grappling hook and clasped it around his vibranium arm. “What’s this?”
You opened your balcony door again, standing atop the chair and placing one foot on the railing.
“Doll?” he asked, hands out to catch you.
“The street’s too crowded and there’s gonna be roadblocks set up. We’re going in from above.”
“Above? What-“ He sighed in realization. “Oh, oh no.”
You laughed, pulling him up to where you stood. “Yes, Jamie. C’mon, if I can do it, you can too.”
He eyed the drop. His breath wavered as he threw a nervous grin at you. “Kiss for good luck?” You obliged, pecking him on the lips before you pushed yourself backward, flipping once in a free fall before shooting your hook at a nearby roof.
The wire stretched enough to prevent whiplash, and you ran along the side of the building until you were able to boost yourself onto the roof. You landed in a crouch, calling Sam.
“You seeing this?” you asked, sending him the news.
“I’m already on my way,” he responded. “Tell Barnes thanks for the gift.”
You watched as said man hyped himself up, adjusting the grappling hook. “Thank him yourself.”
You hung up, watching as Bucky followed your path, albeit with a bit less grace and a bit more flailing.
He landed beside you with a thud, groaning as the grappling hook retracted with a snap.
“How do you do that?” he panted, slowly standing up.
“Practice. C’mon, hon. We’ve got a few blocks to go.”
From there, you mainly leaped from roof to roof, following the flashing red and blue lights to the GRC meeting. As you stood above the building, waving at a passing helicopter.
“Ready for the fun part?” you asked, embedding the hook into the roof. Before he could answer, you jumped from the edge, running down the glass building to land softly on the ground. The hook came rushing down with a flick of your hand, clicking into place.
A loud scream caused you to look up.
The ex-Winter Soldier came zooming down, trying to brush the panic off of his face as a few officers and guards glanced over.
“You owe me,” he grumbled, making his way through the crowd as you followed, smiling at his misfortune.
“I’m almost there,” Sam said over the comms.
“What’s the plan?” Bucky asked. You nodded as you passed security, their stances relaxing when they recognized the two Avengers.
“Karli’s gotta be close. Keep your eyes open.”
“Well, it could be anybody,” you warned.
“Sergeant Barnes. Agent (L/N),” an officer acknowledged, stepping aside to let you both pass.
“And by the way, I called in some backup.”
“Excuse me, sir. Are you supposed to be here?” A man in a beanie approached. You raised your eyebrow.
“Sharon,” you greeted. She tapped the side of her face, deactivating the digital prosthesis and tugging off the hat. Bucky stared in horror. You supposed it may have reminded him of the Red Skull.
“It’s me,” she admitted.
“Sharon, what the hell are you doing here?” he asked.
She shrugged nonchalantly, as if she wasn’t a fugitive. “Relax. No one’s looking for me here.”
“Do I hear Sharon?”
“Unfortunately.” You smacked the soldier’s arm.
She ignored him. “Hey, Sam. I thought I’d get the band back together.”
“Thank you. You’re risking a lot coming here.”
“I hear pardons aren’t all they’re cracked up to be, anyway.”
“Depends on the therapist,” Bucky quipped. You grinned, turning to watch more police circle the building.
“You just don’t like Raynor,” you corrected. He nodded, neither agreeing nor disagreeing.
“They’ll move on the building soon. Be ready.” You nodded as something zoomed past overhead, most likely Sam. The red alarm lights continued to flash from the building, the menacing glow coating the area.
The three of you began to move towards the entrance as screams echoed from an upper floor. You watched as Sam busted through the glass, new suit on and shield in hand.
“You guys, what’s going on on your end?” he asked.
“Nothing. All quiet,” Bucky responded.
Sharon scanned the area. “No one’s moving toward the building.”
“Karli’s not coming in. She’s trying to force everybody out. It’s a misdirect. We gotta keep everybody inside.”
You shoved the glass doors open, wincing as the red light invaded your senses. You passed through a metal detector, which beeped as soon as Sharon made it through. Thankfully, your vibranium tech didn’t activate metal detectors.
“You guys are gonna have to do something. Don’t let ‘em out of the building,” Sam shouted over comms.
“Here’s one,” Bucky said, pointing to a mustachioed man. “We’ll get evac. C’mon.” He gestured for you to follow him and you unfolded a staff, storming through the building as you both scanned for any officials. One woman approached, a phone in her hand.
“Mr. Barnes. Ms. (L/N). It’s Karli.” The fact that this random woman was a Flag Smasher was mildly alarming, but the ex-Winter Soldier took the phone anyway, holding it between you two so you could hear as well.
“Karli?” he asked.
“Aren’t you tired of fighting for the wrong side, Mr. Barnes?”
He scoffed as you both rushed down a flight of stairs. “I’ve done this before, kid. I know how it ends.”
“It doesn’t matter if I don’t survive this. I’m fighting for something bigger than myself. And with all the bodies you both have collected, have you ever been able to say the same?” Maybe at one point, her words would have hurt. But now, she just seemed naive.
“You don’t think we ever fought for something bigger than ourselves? That’s all I tried to do. And I failed twice.” You frowned, filing away the comment to later pester him about. “You think your cause justifies all this death, but in the end, the nightmares won’t go away. You’re gonna remember all the ones you killed. Trust us.”
“Don’t do this, Karli,” you warned her. “Don’t go down this path.”
“If that’s how you both feel, you should sit this one out.”
“Come on, you know I ain’t gonna do that,” the super-soldier responded. When she spoke again, her tone was harsh.
“Well, thank you. I’m glad you took my call. You’ve been a big help.” With that, she hung up. A distraction.
“Damn it!” he snapped, pocketing the phone. You both sprinted down corridors, eventually finding two motorcycles.
“Seriously, you two, you had one job,” Sharon sighed in disappointment.
You ignored her as Bucky snapped, “You worry about your guy.” The two of you sped off, quickly adjusting to the bikes. It wasn’t nearly as intuitive as your own, but it would do. You made it out of the parking garage and slipped between a roadblock, Sam and Sharon conversing the whole while.
“Bucky! (Y/N)!” Sam yelled, probably about to request your help with the hostages in the helicopter. You rolled your eyes. “Which one of us flies again, Sam? Oh, yeah, not us.” As you turned a sharp corner, you spotted the armored vehicles just as the Flag Smashers threw out the police and took control of the cars.
Muttering curses under your breath, you exchanged an annoyed glance with Bucky before speeding up, straight at the concrete barriers. You braked at the last moment, hurtling over the edge and directly into one of the rebels. One sent a kick to your shoulder as Karli jumped from the car she was in.
As you and Barnes tag-teamed a soldier, another began to pour a container of gasoline on one of the vehicles, lighting it with a tiny spark. People began to scream as ten-foot flames licked up the side of the car. You slammed the staff against the Flag Smasher’s head, effectively knocking him out.
“Hold on!” Bucky yelled, beginning to work on the door as you tried the windows, smashing against them but only creating a hairline fracture. You yelled in frustration as Bucky struggled with the door, looking around to stop Karli when a voice echoed down the street.
“Morgenthau!” John Walker, back and with what appeared to be a knockoff shield fit for a knockoff Cap. It was haphazardly welded together and seemed to be more of a showpiece than an actual weapon. “Let’s finish this.”
“I didn’t mean to kill your friend,” she said. “I don’t wanna hurt people that don’t matter.”
“You don’t think Lamar’s life mattered?” Walker boomed. He was deranged, but he was distracting her as you tried to help Bucky by using your vibranium staff as a crowbar.
“Not to my fight. I just want the people on that truck.”
“Oh, yeah? Then why’d you light it on fire you fucking prick?” you yelled, grunting as you strained against the lock mechanism on the doors of the vehicle. They began to fight, leaving you feeling helpless. Bucky punched at the device, eventually managing to damage it enough to expose the wiring.
You gasped, charging up the Black Widow gauntlet on your wrist. You aimed the glowing weapon at the lock. “Back up, Barnes.” You fired it, and the red electricity crackled through the tech, allowing the lock to fall from the truck. With a shout, Bucky wrenched the door open and you both began to help the hostages down from the suffocating metal box.
“Thank you for saving us,” one man gasped. You smiled as the ex-Winter Soldier stared, as if in disbelief that he’d just been thanked.
“You’re welcome,” he said to no one. With a chuckle, you pointed towards where Walker was going up against multiple Flag Smashers.
“I guess we have to help him,” he grumbled to which you nodded. He ran forward just as one was winding back a parking meter, fully ready to knock Walker’s head from his shoulders. As Bucky went up against one, you took on Karli, who had swiped up the meter and was now swinging it at you. You unsheathed your sword, parrying her enhanced blows with the strength of vibranium.
Bucky slammed a chain against her before receiving a kick to the chest, sending him flying backward and off a ledge.
“Bucky!” you yelled, racing after him and not really thinking about anything other than the fact that you just watched one of your best friends and first crush in years plummet from an unknown height. Without another thought, you cast your grappling hook into concrete and leaped down, landing softly an embarrassingly short amount of time later. The drop was 50 feet at the most, and Bucky Barnes had survived a 200-foot freefall from a plane a few days earlier.
So maybe you weren’t thinking straight. But before you could even defend your not-really-logic logic, another Flag Smasher came jumping down, a giant metal beam in his hands and ready to give you one whopping concussion. Bucky caught the beam with his metal arm, wincing from the strain. Over comms, Sam yelled to someone else something about, “Boy, you just earned this ass-whooping!” You couldn’t help but think he was right.
You readied a baton and swiped at the offender, catching his neck with one particularly wide strike. He convulsed, the red sparks shooting through his muscle and probably permanently damaging his nerves.
“Suck my dick,” you spat, tilting your head when he rolled over with a groan. A well-placed taser shock put him back into the dirt.
Bucky stared at you, eyes wide and still in a bit of shock that you jumped after him with little-to-no hesitation. “That was really hot,” he muttered. You smiled, helping him stand.
“Yeah?” you asked, leaning forward with a smirk. Just as he was about to pull you towards him, Sam’s voice blared through your earpiece at an unnecessarily high volume.
“Would you two stop flirting in my ear?” You grumbled.
“I thought you wanted me to do something about it, Sammy,” you lilted, listening as Walker continued to scream at whatever he was fighting. With the amount of anger issues in that man, you wouldn’t be surprised if he tried to fight a wall.
Sam stammered incredulously. “Yeah. ‘Do something about it.’ Not get saucy in my goddamn ear.”
“I know you did not just say ‘saucy’ to me in that context,” you growled, about to berate him when one of the armored vehicles crashed onto the metal scaffolding above you, breaking several beams and bending some others. It teetered on the edge, and you and Bucky both stared up at it, watching the steel beams strain under the weight.
Oddly, Bucky wasn’t trying to move out from under the car. His movements were calculated. as if he was placing himself exactly where the truck would fall.
“I’m not about to let you catch a truck,” you hissed, not taking your eyes off of said car.
“I can’t just let them fall,” he countered.
You scoffed. “So you’re just gonna catch a military vehicle filled with people?”
Then, the car edged backward, and the battered shield that Walker had made fell into the sand. So he was the one tugging it back. Maybe he wasn’t too bad.
And then he, Karli, and another Flag Smasher careened through the scaffolding, and the car began to fall again. Of course. You tried to usher them from under the kill zone, but soon found that there was no need. A flash of red, white, and blue shot past.
Sam Wilson was pushing the truck up, his new suit donned and shield strapped to his back. This was the first time you were properly seeing it, and damn it looked good. Shuri truly had a gift.
Three small drones deployed from his pack, helping him push the truck to safety. You turned to Bucky as he helped Walker. “You got him new Redwings?”
He nodded sheepishly. “Yeah.” You grabbed his hand. “You are adorable.”
“Shut up and watch Sam,” he grumbled with a blush, but the smile on his face told you that he appreciated the affectionate words. You nodded, not pressing the subject.
Cheers erupted as Sam moved the truck to safety.
Of course, Karli had to throw a section of rebar at you. Bucky caught it, and you both glared at her.
“C’mon,” you sighed, shrugging. “You ruined the moment. There was a moment happening and you just-” You flung a hand at her, sighing disappointedly. When she tried to advance again, Sam threw the shield, knocking her back. She yanked off her mask, eyeing Sam as if he’d stabbed her.
“You of all people bought into that bullshit?” she asked.
He didn’t budge. “I’m trying something different. Maybe you should do the same.”
A distant explosion distracted you before smoke bombs exploded at your feet with a hiss. Grey haze coated the area, but Sam began to lead you, Bucky, and Walker through a nearby maze of halls.
“Hey, Sharon. We’re underground,” Bucky mumbled into comms, trying to keep the separated member of your party up to date. “We entered the tunnel on William. Heading south.”
“Looks like they split up. Here.” Walker ran in one direction before Sam even finished, and you and Bucky followed.
“We got it,” you said to Sam, trailing the rogue Captain. You ran ahead of them, letting the two boys search rooms as you found a way out. When you had made your way through most of the building with no sign of the remaining Flag Smashers, you snapped, turning around.
“Buck. You still have that lady’s phone, right?” He nodded. “It has the Flag Smasher app. Put up a false signal.” You exited the building and waited patiently,
“Are you sure this is gonna work?” Walker asked. You tsked, pausing for a brief moment. “Just wait. In three… two… one.” You pointed just as three sets of footsteps began to echo down the hallway. Walker stepped out in front of them.
“‘Mercy bears richer fruit than strict justice,’” he quoted smugly. Bucky held up the phone. “It’s a great app.” The police surrounded the rebels, and you finally began to relax knowing that the hardest part of your job was finished.
“Lincon? Really?” Bucky asked Walker as soon as you all were out of earshot.
“Great man. Great quote.”
You made a disbelieving sound. “Not when you say it.”
———————————————————————
You sat in the open doors of an ambulance, Bucky next to you as you leaned against him. There was still a lot of panic, with people shuffling about and trying to recover from the events of the past hour, but your little hiding spot was relatively peaceful.
After snatching an ice pack from a paramedic, you and the super-soldier had taken turns passing it back and forth, with him usually letting you have it for longer. You had also taken the opportunity to clean up a cut on his temple, and now only a small bruise and smear of dried blood remained.
“Just as my side was almost healed up,” you complained, pressing the ice pack against the muscle that seemed to have been sore for the past few weeks.
He rubbed your shoulder. “We’ll get an actual break here soon, doll. Get you back up and running.”
Just as you were going to respond, Sam flew down, cradling a dead Karli Morgenthau in his arms. You jumped up from the ambulance, leaning against it for support.
He laid her body on a stretcher, and Walker came to join you and Bucky by the ambulance. Reporters surrounded Sam instantly.
“What happened to the Flag Smashers?”
“When did the government make you Captain America?”
“Is it still Falcon?”
“Or is it Captain Falcon?”
He stepped past all of them stopping briefly to speak to a woman. Many of the government officials thanked him, mentioning various details about the Flag Smashers and discussing the GRC vote. Then, Sam’s voice carried over the crowd.
“Stop calling them terrorists,” he requested.
“What else would we call them?” a man asked.
Sam’s face radiated “y’all are fucking stupid” without him saying a word. “Your peacekeeping troops carrying weapons are forcing millions of people into settlements around the world, right? What do you think those people are gonna call you? These labels, ‘terrorist’, ‘refugee’, ‘thug’, they’re often used to get around the question, why?”
“Those settlements that happened five years ago, do you think it is fair for governments to have to support them?” one woman asked.
“Yes.” His answer came with no hesitation.
“And the people who reappeared only to find someone else living in their family home, they just end up homeless? Look, I get it. But you have no idea how complicated this situation is.” Your eyes widened at his abrasive words.
“The fuck does this bitch think he is?” you mumbled to Bucky, who shrugged.
“You know what? You’re right. And that’s a good thing. We finally have a common struggle now. Think about that. For once, all the people who’ve been begging, and I mean, literally begging for you to feel how hard any given day is… Now you know.”
“How did it feel to be helpless? Now if you could remember what it was like to be helpless and face a force so powerful it could erase half the planet, you would know that you’re about to have the exact same impact. This isn’t about easy decisions, Senator.”
“You don’t understand,” the old man insisted.
Sam scoffed. “I’m a Black man carrying the stars and stripes. What don’t I understand? Every time I pick this thing up, I know there are millions of people who are gonna hate me for it. Even now, here, I feel it. The stares, the judgment. And there’s nothing I can do to change it.”
“Yet, I’m still here. No super serum, no blond hair, or blue eyes. The only power I have is that I believe we can do better. We can’t demand that people step up if we don’t meet them halfway. Look, you control the banks. Shit, you can move borders! You can knock down a forest with an email, you can feed a million people with a phone call.”
“But the question is, who’s in the room when you make those decisions? Is it the people you’re gonna impact? Or is it just more people like you? I mean, this girl died trying to stop you, and no one has stopped for a second to ask why. You’ve gotta do better, Senator. You’ve gotta step up. Because if you don’t, the next Karli will. And you don’t wanna see 2.0.”
“People believed in her cause so much that they helped her defy the strongest governments in the world. Why do you think that is? Look, you people have just as much power as an insane god or a misguided teenager. The question you have to ask yourself is, ‘How are you going to use it?’”
And with that, he stepped away, Despite the soreness all over your body, you waved excitedly over to him. “You did so good!” you congratulated. He gave a polite nod to Walker before moving over to Bucky.
“Sorry, I was, uh, I was texting and so, all I heard was, um, ‘a Black guy in the stars and stripes.’” You swatted at his arm, causing him to chuckle lightly. “Nice job, Cap.”
Sam thanked him. As you three made your way away from the paparazzi, you saw a familiar figure dressing her wounds.
“Sharon,” you greeted. She looked up briefly before shielding her face from the slew of cameras nearby.
“You’re blocking my light,” she commented.
“We gotta get you to a hospital,” Sam said, eyeing the gunshot wound that was still oozing blood. Bucky made a snarky comment about her not listening as she and Sam spoke.
“Uh, Cap?” A paramedic approached and Sharon ducked, hiding her identity.
“I think he’s talking to you,” she joked. “Look, I’m sorry for how things ended down there. For what it’s worth, suit looks good on you.” And just like that, she was gone.
Bucky took your hand in his. “Ready to go home?” You nodded, lightly squeezing his hand in your own. You bid farewell to Sam, beginning the short walk home.
“I didn’t forget my promise,” the new Captain called out. Bucky only gave him a nod.
You walked a few blocks before speaking. “It’s alarming that I came out of this mess being mildly okay with both Zemo and Walker,” you said, contemplating what that meant for you morally.
“There’s been weirder things to happen.”
“What, like us being idiots and Sam, Nat, and Steve actually being helpful?”
Bucky bent down to press a kiss to your lips. “Exactly.”
———————————————————————
“Is this outfit too much?”
Nat, Yelena, and Steve and sat on your bed, surrounded by other outfits you’d tossed around.
“Hon, you need to stop worrying about your outfit. You’re gonna be on a plane, and then on a dock in Louisiana. It’s not the goddamn Met Gala,” Nat groaned, flopping back into your bed. They’d all stopped by the tower for a visit (read: to harass you and Bucky) and were planning on decorating a room for the younger Black Widow.
Steve had ranted for an hour straight about John Walker and the government, pacing until you physically stopped him. He called Sam to congratulate him, saying he cheered through the whole speech.
“Fuck, that reminds me. We need to figure out who’s attending that gala next year.”
Yelena perked up. “I can go to the Met Gala?” You nodded, turning in the mirror and scrunching your nose at the silky blouse. “Yeah, at least a few of us go every year.” She immediately got on her phone, searching for matching outfits for her and her dog, Fanny, who was laying next to her. You didn’t have the heart to tell her pets weren’t allowed at the gala, but honestly, she’d probably get away with it.
With a huff, you tugged off the top and threw it on a chair. “It’s too much. I’m gonna wear a tank top.”
Steve threw a top at you. “It’s fall.”
“I don’t give a shit. It’s Louisiana.”
Once you changed and were slightly more content with your clothing choice, you put on jewelry and shouldered your bag. A knock sounded from your door.
“Hey,” you called. Bucky peeked in, eyes widening when he saw the three superheroes sprawled around your room. “What’s happening?” he asked.
“(Y/N) needed help. We are help,” Yelena explained breezily. “Ooh, Natasha, look at this dog bowtie.” Nat leaned over, humming in approval at whatever picture she was showing her.
“Doll? You ready?” You nodded, taking Bucky’s hand as your three friends made kissing noises behind you. You rolled your eyes, playfully flipping them off before leaving Avengers Tower, making your way to the airport thanks to your maybe-too-fast driving.
Tony’s jet was always comfortable, with drinks stored away in a fridge and the seats somehow always comfortable. You piloted the plane for a short while before allowing FRIDAY to take over, engaging autopilot and turning on the TV.
“I’m glad he invited us down,” you said, settling onto the arm of the chair where Bucky sat. He nodded, resting his head against your side.
“I’m glad you’re coming with me. I’m glad you’re here.” You ran a head through his hair, relaxing as the rising sun shone through the plane window.
“Me too.”
———————————————————————
“I honestly don’t think he’ll notice.”
“You dropped the cake, Jamie. It’s kinda hard to miss.”
Bucky held the very demolished cake in his hands, mild panic taking over. “Um… it’s fine. It’ll be fine. We just don’t say anything about it.” You nodded.
“Say anything about what?” you asked jokingly, winking at him as you both got out of another rental car. Sam’s friends and family had decided to throw a cookout on the pier, and the sweet smells of southern cooking filled the air as you passed a few grills.
AJ and Cass came sprinting at Bucky, who proceeded to air fight them as you took the battered cake, slipping it onto a nearby picnic table and hoping no one noticed its state. You glanced to both sides before scooting away.
“Buck! (Y/N)!” Sam ran over to hug you both, introducing you to his friends. All the while, the brunet super-soldier stayed close by you, either holding your hand or resting a hand on your back. You stayed equally close, as if separating was some impossible feat.
However, you were forced to split off when Sam tugged Bucky away to entertain some of the kids. As you made your way around the party, you grabbed a lemonade, sipping the perfectly mixed beverage as you watched two kids hang off of his metal arm, with him not even breaking a sweat as he spoke to Sarah and some of her friends.
“I would’ve moved in with Sam after the whole Thanos deal, but he’s just so bad at sharing,” you heard him say. Sarah nodded, beginning a story about the Captain and how he couldn’t share cereal boxes.
You walked up, smiling as one of the kids waved to you. “He’s still like that. Has to have his Cookie Crunch all to himself.”
“Don’t hate on the Cookie Crunch, (L/N),” Sam warned, approaching with a beer in his hand. “That trashed cake yours?” he asked, gesturing vaguely to the dessert table.
“What trashed cake?” you asked innocently, shrugging. Bucky exchanged a glance with you, and you both burst into a fit of laughter.
Sam rolled his eyes. “I knew it. You two are ridiculous; where’d this come from? The gas station?”
“Um,” you stammered, eventually pointing at him with a snap of your fingers. “Yeah, actually. Spot-on.”
“It’s probably infected with, like, twelve different diseases,” he grumbled.
Bucky scoffed as the other kid jumped down from his arm. “Cake is cake.”
“My thoughts exactly.” You smiled. He bent down, pressing a kiss to your lips. Sam complained, disgusted, but you shut out his protests. A man shouting that the food was ready interrupted his groans.
After dinner was served and everyone had eaten, Bucky pulled you to the side, fiddling nervously with his vibranium hand. It whirred, something you’d come to learn to mean that he was either frustrated, worried, or anxious. The vibranium prosthetic seemed to be honed in on his emotions.
“What’s up?” you asked, taking his hands in yours.
“It’s nothing bad, I promise,” he reassured, running his thumbs over your hands. “I just… I wanted to ask you properly. I know dating’s changed a lot since the ‘40s, but I know the basics.”
“And I was wondering if you’d be my girlfriend? Like, officially?”
You smiled, nodding instantly and jumping up to hug him. “Yes, yes of course. I’d really like that,” you whispered into the crook of his neck. He gently pulled away, breaths still shaking.
“Is it too much to say… you know?”
A grin passed over your face briefly before you feigned confusion. “Hmm, I don’t know. You’ll have to tell me what it is.”
Bucky laughed under his breath, gently pressing a palm to the side of your face. He leaned in, your foreheads grazing as you made eye contact.
“I love you.”
“I love you, too.”

in the frosty air | a jjk drabble
Tumblr media
summary: two weeks ago you and your roommate slept together. which would be fine, if you knew you both felt the same about each other. but you don’t. and now it’s christmas, and jungkook is still gorgeous and gentle and wonderful and here, and and you don’t really know what to do about that.
{college!au, roommates!au}
pairing: jungkook x reader genre: this is just an angst train tbh, but it has a happy ending! word count: 1.6k warnings: mentions of past alcohol consumption, this centers around everyone’s favorite capitalist holiday, being sad in the wintertime a/n: OHHHHHHHHHH *internet breaks* anyway yeah i’m back baby!!! here’s a little drabble to celebrate because i can’t help myself when it comes to jungkook. love me or we both go down coming soon!
“This Christmas is pretty fucking lame, isn’t it?”
You whip around at the sound of his voice. “Oh, hey. I didn’t hear you come in.”
“I figured,” Jungkook chuckles, bending his head down as he crawls through the open window to join you on the fire escape. The temperature is freezing and the wind is stinging your skin, but it didn’t really feel right to be spending tonight inside. “Saw the window open. Thought you might be here.”
“Yeah. I was probably gonna head inside soon, though.” In the hopes that you would be curled up in your bedroom before Jungkook even got home. Seeing him lately has been hard. “How did your final go?”
“It was alright.” You don’t have to keep looking at him to feel Jungkook taking a seat next to you, crossing his legs over each other as he stares out into the city below you. It snowed a few days ago, and the sidewalks are still covered in that dirty slush that always lingers, wet and cold and black from car tires. Just being beside you makes your heart race, makes your chest tighten. “I was pretty stressed out about it, but then I just sort of remembered that I did my best and that was all I could do, you know?”
“That’s good.” You wish you had that mindset. You spend days studying for an exam and once it’s over, you spend days dwelling on all the things you might have gotten wrong. It’s a philosophy you apply to most aspects of your life. Why you did the thing you did. Why doing the thing you did was the worst thing you could have done. How you will recover from it. If you even will.
Jungkook sighs. You turn to look at him, just briefly, glance at his side figure, and notice he’s wearing nothing but a giant zip-up hoodie. Isn’t he cold? “It doesn’t really feel like Christmas.”
“Yeah.” You don’t have anything else to say to that. It doesn’t. Which is a damn shame, because you and Jungkook spent the entire beginning of this month turning your tiny, two-bedroom apartment into a winter wonderland. You got a tree to put up next to your TV and decorated with the weirdest ornaments you could find. You hung up those dangly white Christmas lights on the balcony of your fire escape, the ones meant to look like icicles dripping from the metal railing. The radio has been playing nothing but Michael Bublé and Mariah Carey. And yet.
It’s not hard to wonder why this Christmas is such shit. Your spring internship fell through a week ago. Your parents rented a lake house and assumed you wouldn’t be coming with. All of your other friends have gone home already. And Jungkook, perhaps the last person in this whole goddamn city you would have wanted to spend time with, you can’t even bear to look at.
“How did your finals go?” Jungkook asks, trying to keep the conversation going.
“They were fine.” At least that torture is over. But living with Jungkook, seeing him every day and knowing that what you have done you can never undo--it’s endless.
There’s silence. It’s like the two of you simultaneously have no idea and know exactly what to say. Like the words are lingering on the tips of your tongues but your lips are sealed shut. Opening them won’t be like a can of worms. It will be a dam, a waterfall of I’m sorrys and What nows. One week ago, in the heat of the night and in the haze of drink after drink, you and Jungkook made the worst mistake two roommates could ever make.
“Are you going home this break?” You blurt out the words before you can stop yourself.
Jungkook sighs. “I’m not sure.”
“It’s okay if you want to.” I get it. I’m not sure if I’d want to hang around and see me either.
He shrugs. “I just haven’t decided yet.”
He knows that you’re staying. The two of you were so looking forward to spending Christmas together. Now look at you. Jungkook was the perfect roommate. Then everything changed.
“Okay.” He’s probably just trying to figure out a way to let you down easy.
Next to you, Jungkook rustles a hand through his pocket. “By the way, uh--I just remembered. I got you something.”
You don’t even have time to object before Jungkook is placing a small fabric box into your open palm, resting on your lap. You look down at the item, at the way your hand seems to envelop it.
“You didn’t have to--”
“I wanted to.” Jungkook is firm in his response. “Besides, I got it a while ago. Figured now is as good a time as any to give it to you.”
There’s not really anything else to do except open it. Carefully, with trembling fingers, you pull off the lid. Inside sits a dainty silver locket resting amongst a pile of folded tissue paper. You gasp, your breath coming out in smoke in the cold winter air.
“Oh my God, I--”
“I overheard you talking on the phone saying you wanted one,” Jungkook admits sheepishly. “I wanted to give it to you before I forgot.”
Fingers shaking from the cold, you pull the locket from the box. It dangles from its chain, a delicate little thing, barely the size of a fingerprint. Even on this hazy winter evening, it still catches the light.
For the first time tonight, you look up at him. His eyes are a swirling brown, a deep chocolate. They are unreadable. He offers a small, guarded smile your way, lips pink in the chilly air. “Thank you,” you tell him honestly. This is one of the nicest things anyone has ever done for you.
You can’t accept this without returning the favor. Wordlessly, you get up from the fire escape, rushing indoors for a moment as you grab your gift from your bedroom. It’s been sitting in there for at least two weeks now. You hold your hand behind your back as you make your way back to the fire escape, sitting down next to him once more.
With a small flourish, you reveal your own present. They’re drumsticks.
“For you,” you tell him, that same small grin on your face. “Since you’re always drumming on everything. Thought you could use something to do that with.”
Jungkook looks positively starstruck. He takes the sticks in his hands, feels the wood with his fingers, tracing over the logo at the bottom. You aren’t very well versed in the world of drum equipment, but your friend in the orchestra told you it was a good brand.
“Wow, Y/N,” he says, mouth agape. “This is... this is the most thoughtful thing anyone’s ever gotten me. Thank you.”
“Always.”
And that’s the truth, isn’t it? No matter what you do, no matter what you say, you will always be there to give Jungkook what he deserves. To make his life just the tiniest bit better. Doing thoughtful things for him has never required effort on your part. There is just a part of you that will do them, because he deserves it. Because he is so gentle, and loving, and kind, and wonderful.
You sit there for a little while longer, relishing in the brief respite of your gift exchange. It’s softened the ice, warmed the air, broken the tension. Even if only a little. But it’s enough to keep you out here, sitting next to him. It’s enough to keep you from drifting away.
“I don’t regret that night.”
The words feel like biting wind.
“What?” You turn to him.
“I don’t. I’d do it again. A thousand times over.” Jungkook is resolute. He looks at you, eyebrows furrowed in determination.
“Jungkook, what happened that night--”
“Is something I’ll never forget,” he finishes. “Do you know how fucking long I had been waiting to do that? To hold you? Kiss you? To spend the night with you?”
Each syllable presses deeper into your chest, imprinting themselves on your heart. You stare back at him, too shocked to say anything at all.
“It’s okay if you don’t feel the same,” Jungkook adds on, quickly backtracking. “I sort of... got that message when I woke up that morning and you were gone. But I just wanted you to know that that night didn’t change anything about how I feel about you.”
Jungkook’s got it all wrong. You were the one who fucked up. You were the one whose feelings won’t change. “I thought you were the one who didn’t feel the same.”
Jungkook chuckles, this sad, forced cough. “Are you kidding? I’d do anything to relive that night. You’re my favorite person in this whole world, Y/N.”
If the weather were just a little bit warmer, if the wind wasn’t as dry, perhaps tears would fall. But instead, you blink back at him and it feels at once like your heart weighs a million pounds and nothing at all. “Me too,” you choke out. “I never want to be without you.”
Your fire escape is barely big enough for one person, let alone two, but that doesn’t stop Jungkook from reaching over and pulling you in, pressing a chilly kiss to your frozen lips, the heat of his mouth warming you up from the inside out. It’s cold tonight, yes. But Jungkook makes you feel like it’s summer all year long.
You smile against his lips. They feel like home. They taste like peppermint lip balm and coffee and ice.
“Do you want me to stay?” He asks. As if he was even thinking about going home anyway.
“Yes,” you whisper back.
It feels a lot more like Christmas now.
“Then I’ll stay.”

~The neighbor ~
part 2
nanami kentox reader smut
warning: MDNI, 18+, Raw sex , praising kink, Language, Rough sex, Breeding, smut
Part 2
Work was slow as usual, after morning hours the cafe tends to slow down lunch and dinner were served but it wasn’t very popular. Judging by the way Nanami was in a rush earlier it seemed he didn’t have time to stop by for his regular Black coffee. You lean against the register catching up on the latest novel you’d been reading. Your boss is in the back doing “Inventory “ which really meant taking a nap in the office. You glance at the clock perched on the wall, 1:30 pm, you sigh time was dragging on today. You turn your attention back onto your book engrossing yourself in the literature.
“Hello may I see the lunch menu please”
You jump.
You’d been so enraptured by your book you hadn’t even heard the door bell ring.
“Y-yes W-welcome let me grab that for you one second” you slam your book shut and quickly squat down grabbing a laminated lunch menu.
You look up and you’re met with brown eyes.
He smiles grabbing the menu, your hands brush lightly. You’re panicking, this is the first time he’s ever came to the cafe for lunch. He nods walking to A booth furthest from the entrance, you watch in awe admiring his physic. You grab a towel and begin to buss tables giving him time to decide what he wanted. Your eyes keep darting over at him blushing every Time your eyes meet. He doesn’t seem to mind he gives you a small smile in response.
After a while you walk to the register to grab your note pad and pen. You reach in your pocket for your lip gloss dabbing some on before making your way over to his table. He’s looking down, his brows scrunched in focus.
“Is anything looking good” you call out cheerfully.
“Yes you are” his tongue slides across his lips.
“Pardon?” You asked unsure of what you heard.
“I said yes it is” he rubs his chin staring directly into your eyes.
You ignore it deciding you’re just hearing things, He points to a item on the menu.
“This will be fine “ he states.
“The eggs Benedict, Alright and for your drink?” You scribble on your note pad.
“Black coffee should suffice” he nods to himself in approval.
“Alrighty I will have that right up” you rip the paper from your pad and start towards the kitchen.
“Order up!” You call back, sticking the ticket up.
You were in charge of making all the coffee related orders, came with being a barista/cashier. You didn’t mind though, you learned to Create lots of different foam patterns. Coffee making was fun if you made it, you even created a couple secrete menu items of your own.
You reach for a mug, pouring the freshly brewed coffee inside, steam swirls from the cup. You set the mug ontop of your silver serving tray and make your way back to his table. He’s looking through a stack of papers, his briefcase sits open on the table top.
“Here’s your coffee” you grab the glass in an attempt to hand it to him unaware of how hot it is. The glass burns your hand causing you to drop it out of reflex. It crashes down spraying all over Nanami’s suit and paper work.
“Oh my god I’m so sorry!” You grab a fist full of paper towels frantically trying to clean off his suit. You pat the spilled coffee from his lap, He shifts in his seat.
“Uhn-“ he makes a soft noise catching you off guard.
You bolt up your face is red hot, you look away in embarrassment.
“I-I can pay to have this dry cleaned! Ugh I’m such a klutz-“
He interjects “no it’s fine you don’t have to do that”
“Please allow me too I wouldn’t forgive myself if I didn’t” you bite your lip in guilt.
His eyes darken at the sight of you standing there looking so remorseful and innocent. He looks away for a second debating his next move.
“If you insist, the jacket only will be enough I assure you” he says slowly, sliding his coat off. His arms bulge through his white button down shirt.
He hands you the jacket hesitantly You’re dying of embarrassment.
“I’ll have this back to you tomorrow I swear it” you blurt quickly walking away.
~
“That coffee was a nightmare to get out kid” The dry cleaner complains.
You give an apologetic look as you sign the ticket finalizing the payment.
“Thanks again For getting it done so quick Danny”
“Yeah yeah yeah next time tell the guy to make the coffee land in his mouth got it” you laugh as you wave goodbye walking out the door. You check your phone , 6:10 pm, Nanami asked you to be there at 5:30 but work held you up today.
Luckily the dry cleaners is around the block from your apartment like most things. Before you know it your apartment entrance is in sight, You push the elevator button. It takes forever as usual, when it finally arrives you walk inside. Nanami lived on the same floor as you just opposite sides. You walk down the hall that connects your building’s searching for unit 12.
Your phone lights up, it’s a text from nanami ‘having trouble finding me?’ You laugh to yourself stopping to type back.
‘Closer than you think’ just as you press send the door in front of you swings open.
You jump with a fright, he sure had a way of scaring you. He’s standing there dressed completely different from how you were use to seeing him. He wore a green long sleeve top, Casual dark jeans , his eyes were covered by strange glasses.
“Come on in” he smirks.
You step over the threshold laying the jacket across his cream couch. His apartment was clean, not regular clean, everything was perfectly in its place. Despite all the lighter themes there wasn’t a spec of dirty anywhere in sight.
“I’m sorry I’m late work-“ you explain
“I understand, would you like a drink “ he disappears into the kitchen, returning with two wine glasses and a bottle of an unknown expensive looking champagne.
“Uh-uh yeah sure”
You sit on the couch crossing one leg over the other nervously. The space beside you dips as he sits next to you. You watch the muscles in his hands twitch as he pours your glass. You squirm in your seat, squeezing your legs tightly together.
‘Is he smirking’ you think to yourself watching him out the corner of your eye.
He hands you the drink before pouring his own. He watches curiously over the rim of his glass as he takes a sip, His stare sends a twitch through your clit.
“You like Austen as well?” He asks, you give a confused look.
He continues “ The book you were reading earlier” you realize he must have caught a glimpse at it earlier.
“Oh, Yes I do she is one of my favorites actually” you admit.
He reaches over tucking a fallen strand of hair behind your ear.
“I’m sorry im kind of a neat freak I hope I didn’t offend you-“ he doesn’t move his hand away.
“N-no it’s okay” your body is warm, the alcohol creeps up on you slowly. Before you can stop yourself you nuzzling closer into his palm, his thumb strokes your cheek. He slides his hand to the nape of your neck gently pulling you closer as he leans in.
“Is this okay?” He breathes parting his lips.
Your breathing becomes erratic as you glance down at his lips inches from your own.
“Y-yes...” he runs his tongue gently over your bottom lip before capturing them in a hungry kiss.
He briefly breaks away removing his glasses setting them on the coffee table. In one swift motion he grips your waist hoisting you onto his lap, you wrap your arms around his neck in surprise. You lean into him pushing him into the couch cushion his hand travels up your back to your neck pulling you to his waiting lips. “Mmm Uhn-“ He moans slipping his tongue between your lips.
You grind against him the clothing between you becoming an unwanted barrier. His skillful hands slide up your back release your bra clasp, he pulls away flustered and messy hair’d. You lift your arms as he slides your shirt and bra above your head tossing it into the far corner.
“Keep your arms above your head” He orders.
You obey holding your arms up, His tongue attacks your strained nipples. He sucks gently, Using his hand to tease the other, it’s too much to take and your arms drop.
“Arms up or I stop, Little one” you whimper raising your hands above your head.
He sucks your hard bud into his mouth giving it a soft nip sending lighting between your thighs.
“Ah Ah Please mmmnh-“ you plead for more. His hands travel up your skirt pushing your panties aside invading your soaking folds.
“Mmmm so wet already” he brings his fingers to his lips tasting your excitement.
“You’ve been dreaming of this haven’t you, watching me stroke my cock through your drapes at night “ he plunges two fingers inside your slippery hole. You gasp holding back a scream as he finger fucks you slowly.
“Take it out” he demands.
You waste no time unzipping his pants and freeing his pulsing member. You stroke his length admiring how big he is.
“Sit on it” he grips your waist positioning your entrance with his tip. He strokes your slit teasing you making you beg for more.
You grind against him pushing down desperate for him to fill you up. He lets out a feral growl slamming you down on his cock mercilessly.
“Fuck yeah take it, Ah you like the way I stretch your little pussy don’t you” he slaps your ass bouncing you up and down.
He rails into you at a feverish pace, your hips colliding relentlessly.
“ Look at me, Look me in my fucking eyes, show me that pretty face while I fuck you” he groans.
You look at him tears of pleasure staining your face as you get closer to your climax.
He grabs your hair crashing his lips to yours entangling your tongues.
“Ah Ah I’m gonna cum” you cry out, he Drills harder into you biting the soft skin of your neck.
“Cum for me princess, yeah just like that, good girl” he moans.
“Look at me, Look at me, show me how you cum baby, Ah fuck” it sent you over the edge your walls clench around him juices washing over his twitching cock. His eyes roll back as he messily pumps into you filling you with cum. You fall forward, he wraps his arms around you holding you together. You’re both sweat drenched and fucked out depending on each other’s bodies for support.
“You should have spilled coffee on me sooner” he states seriously.
You look at each other in silence before breaking into uncontrollable laughter.
“I agree” you say smiling like a idiot.

Aftercare | Tom Holland
masterlist found here
pairing - Tom x reader word count - 6,568 (I have no idea how this happened) warnings - language, bad/uncomfortable first time, bleeding after sex, oral (f receiving), fingering, good sex! A/N - this wasn’t requested but the idea came to mind a while ago so here we are (I think I’m just sick of being a virgin and this came out of it)
summary - Not everyone cares about their first time. Some people just wanted to get it over with .You had always wanted it to be special. A special time with a special guy. But after ages of never finding that guy, you decide to just get it over with. Tom helps with the aftermath of the disaster.
Tumblr media
You had always wanted your first time to be special. It wasn’t that you wanted to wait until marriage. You just wanted it to be with someone you loved, not a random stranger. But as the years went by, you felt like the chances of you finding someone you loved were slim. Hell, you were 22, and you hadn’t been in a serious relationship since you were 17. Your virgin status was starting to irk you. Not because of the label. No, you knew virginity was a social concept at best that society created to shame girls. The reason it irked you was because you wanted to have sex. You wanted to be in a relationship with someone so you could get absolutely railed by someone who loved you.
Was that too much to ask?
It didn’t help that you had a crush on your best friend. Girls all over the world swooned over Tom Holland, and you were one of them. The only difference was, you actually knew him. You had been friends for ages, and you had been in love with him for about just as long. Despite all the flirty comments the two of you shared and the endless platonic cuddling, that’s all it was. Platonic. Sometimes you swore he felt the same way, but after years of never making a move, you decided it was all in your head.
You weren’t sure at what point you just caved and downloaded Tinder. You couldn’t say what pushed you over the edge. Maybe it was the smutty Harry Styles fanfic you read that just went too hard (literally) and turned you on to the point of cracking. Regardless, you had done it, and you were actually doing pretty well on the app. You were getting a lot of swipes, and you were feeling pretty good about yourself. When one particularly handsome and charming guy -Theodore- asked you on a date, you agreed.
The restaurant you were going to was pretty fancy, so you wore a cute black skater dress and some killer red pumps. You did your makeup and hair to the best of your ability and finished applying your lipstick just as Theodore texted you that he was at your apartment. Okay, so he wasn’t going to pick you up at your door. That was fine. The gesture was a little outdated anyway, right?
“Hi,” you said, opening the car door and sliding in. “Theodore?”
“Theo,” he said with a smile. “(Y/N)?”
“That’s me,” you said. “It’s great to meet you.”
“You too,” he said. “Ready for dinner?”
“Mhm,” you hummed. “‘M pretty hungry.”
“Me too,” he said with a chuckle.
The date was fine. It was nothing exciting. Nothing to write home about. Theo was nice enough. He was polite and everything, and he made some jokes that genuinely made you laugh. Still, he spent a lot of time talking about himself and not a lot of time asking questions about you.
As the night wore on, you could tell where it was headed. And Theo really was nice enough. You didn’t love him, but you liked him, and at this point in your life, you would take that. You invited him back to your apartment, which he accepted. You got into your apartment, and Theo wasted no time pressing you up against your front door and kissing you. You kissed him back, all the while hoping he didn’t notice how scared you were and how long it had been since you had kissed someone.
You two eventually stumbled into your bedroom, and Theo all but threw you onto your bed. You scooted up to the top of the bed and watched him unbutton his shirt and toss it aside. You expected him to kiss you or pull your dress off, but he didn’t. Instead, he moved to unbuckle his trousers and tugged them down along with his boxers. He grabbed a condom from his wallet and rolled it onto his already hard length. He smiled down at you and fumbled with your panties, pulling them off and throwing them to the floor. Part of you wondered if you should tell him it was your first time, but you also didn’t want to kill the vibe. Didn’t want him to run away. So, you let him thrust into you, biting your lip to stop the painful moan that wanted to escape your lips. You definitely weren’t wet enough, and he hadn’t stretched you out at all before sliding in. “Oh, fuck,” Theo moaned, hanging his head in pleasure. You focused on blinking back tears and tried to find any good feeling that might be there, but you couldn’t. It just hurt so much, and you wanted to tell him to stop. You should’ve told him to stop. You shouldn’t have to suffer through shitty sex just because you felt obligated to put out. But, you were the one who wanted to lose your virginity.
“(Y/N), Jesus fuck you’re so fucking tight,” he moaned. “You like my cock splitting you open like this?”
You weren’t sure how long guys were supposed to last, but you were sure it was longer than this.
Theo spilled into the condom and collapsed on top of you. He panted against your neck before placing a soft kiss to your skin. “You finished, right?” he asked.
“Hm?” you said. “Oh, yeah, thanks.”
You winced as Theo pulled out of you and went to the bathroom to get rid of the condom. When he came back, he pulled his boxers and trousers up his legs and buttoned his shirt back on. “This was great,” he said as he slid his shoes on his feet. “We should do this again sometime.”
“Okay,” you said, your voice barely above a whisper as you watched him. He walked over to you, placed a kiss to your forehead, and saw himself out of your apartment.
It didn’t take long for tears to spill from your eyes. When you lifted your dress to look between your legs, you saw you were bleeding. The sight made a sob escape your lips as you covered your mouth with your hand. You knew you needed to clean yourself up, but you felt actual pain between your legs, and your mind felt numb. As you cried softly, mascara running down your cheeks, you blindly reached for your phone that you had set on the bedside table and opened your contacts. There, you clicked your third favorite contact: Tom.
The line rang a few times -you didn’t pay attention to how many- before Tom answered. “Hello, love,” he said, an audible smile in his voice.
“Tommy?” you croaked out.
Tom had been laying back in bed watching TV but sat up as soon as you spoke. Not only did it obviously sound like you were crying, but you only called him Tommy when you were sad. He knew you had a date that night, and his mind immediately went to the worst case scenario. “What’s wrong?” he asked. “Are you okay? What’s wrong?
“Can you just come over?” you asked. “I’m sorry to do this.”
“It’s okay,” he said. “I’ll leave right now. Be over in ten.”
“Okay,” you whispered. “See you soon.”
You hung up before he could respond. You laid in bed curled up in a ball, clutching your arms over your stomach. You couldn’t stop crying, and wished you could go back in time and stop yourself from downloading Tinder in the first place.
“(Y/N)?”
You opened your eyes at the sound of Tom’s voice. You were grateful you had given him a key for emergencies. Seeing him only made you cry harder, so he rushed over to you and sat beside you on the bed, pulling you onto his lap. You hissed at the movements, the pain between your legs even more present. “What happened?” Tom asked, running his hands through your hair.
“It hurts,” you sobbed, not knowing how to sit to ease the pain. Squeezing your legs together made it worse, but keeping them open was painful too.
“What hurts?” he asked.
You sniffed, trying to compose yourself so you didn’t sound like a blubbering idiot. You knew Tom wouldn’t judge you no matter what you said or did. That was one reason you loved him. “He wasn’t gentle,” you whispered. “And, and he didn’t prep me at all, but I didn’t want to stop him because I thought it’d be rude.”
Tom was quiet for a few moments, trying to let the words sink in. His heart broke at what you were implying. He knew you were a virgin, but you had always expressed to him that you wanted your first time to be special. He wasn’t judging you for losing it to some Tinder date, but it made him sad that you didn’t get the memorable first time you had always wanted.
“Are you bleeding?” he asked, his voice soft.
“Yeah,” you said back. “Hurts too much to get up and, and clean it.” Tom nodded in understanding, petting your hair comfortingly again.
“How about I run you a bath,” he said. “And while you’re in the tub, I’ll go get you some ice cream, okay? And we can watch some films for the rest of the night. Does that sound okay?”
“Yeah,” you choked out. “Thanks, Tommy." He nodded, kissed your forehead, and stood up from the bed to get a bath going in the bathroom. You stayed in the same position on the bed, doing your best to keep your tears in while you were alone.
“Alright, love,” Tom said when he came back in the room, crouching beside the bed so he was level with your face. He stroked your cheek with a soft smile. “Bath’s all ready. I put your favorite bath bomb in.” You managed to give him a smile back, but when you sat up, you frowned again at the ache between your legs. Tom licked his lips and gave you a tight, sad smile. “C’mere,” he said as he stood up straight and held his arms out to you. “I’ll carry you.”
You didn’t have the energy to argue with him, so you stuck your arms out and let him pick you up and carry you bridal style to the bathroom. He sat you on the toilet and knelt in front of you. “You want me to help you into the tub too?” he asked. You bit your lower lip and hung your head in shame.
“Do you mind?” you asked.
“Course not,” he said. “You take off your clothes, and I’ll lift you in.” You nodded and waited for him to turn his head so you could undress without his watchful eye. Not that it mattered, because he was literally about to lift your naked body into a bathtub. When your clothes were off, you muttered his name, so he turned to face you. He made sure to keep his eyes on yours rather than your body as much as he could as he hooked one arm under your knees and one around your back, lifting you up and setting you into the bathtub. He took your hair tie from your wrist and pulled your hair up into a ridiculously messy bun on the top of your head. You managed a soft smile as you sunk into the tub.
“Okay,” he said, petting the top of your head. “I’ll go pick you up some ice cream, yeah? You call me if you need anything, and I’ll come right back.”
“Okay,” you said. “Thank you.” He nodded, kissed your forehead, and left you alone in the bathroom.
When Tom got in his car, he gripped the steering wheel tightly and tried to compose himself. God, when he found this son of a bitch, he wasn’t going to hold back. And he would find this son of a bitch. For now, he had to focus on helping you feel better. He drove to the store to pick up the ice cream he knew you liked, and on the way there, he found himself calling his mom.
“Hello, lovely,” she said when she picked up.
“Hey, Mum,” he said back. “Can-” He cleared his throat. “Can I talk to you about something kind of serious?”
“Of course,” she said. “What is it?” He hesitated, but knew his mom would be able to help. After all, mother knows best.
“(Y/N) called me and, and she had sex with someone, but it, it wasn’t good sex.” He was trying to keep out awkward, intimate details.
“She’s sore?” she asked.
“Mhm,” he hummed. “Like, really bad. And she was bleeding a little too.”
“Oh dear,” she sighed.
“Yeah,” he said as he pulled into the parking lot of the store. “I’m going to pick her up some ice cream, but I want to know what I should get to actually help her.”
“Well, there’s not much you can do, really,” she said with another sympathetic sigh. “As odd as it sounds, she might want to use an ice pack. And-” She paused. “-are you ready to be an adult about this, Thomas?”
“Mum, I called you about this,” he said with a dramatic sigh. “Lay it on me.”
She chuckled. “If you want to buy her some Vagisil moisturizing gel or something, it couldn’t hurt. Maybe some Midol.”
“Okay,” Tom said, letting out a heavy breath. “I can do that.”
“Good boy,” she said. He could hear her smile. “You’re very sweet to do this for her, Tom.”
“Thanks, Mum,” he said, a blush forming on his cheeks. “I’ll talk to you later, okay?”
They exchanged I-love-yous and goodbyes, and Tom hung up the phone. He was in and out of the grocery store fairly quickly (the most time was spent searching for the Vagisil) and headed back to your apartment as soon as he could.
You were still in the tub when Tom got back, so he set everything on the vanity in your bedroom and helped you out of the tub, wrapping a dry towel around your body. You both headed into your room, and you got out some pajamas to put on. Over the shorts and tank top, you pulled on a hoodie you had once stolen from Tom. He didn’t know, but it was your comfort hoodie. You wore it whenever you were sad or stressed because it made you feel safe.
“Um,” Tom said, rubbing the back of his neck as you crawled into bed, “I got you some stuff.”
“Stuff?” you repeated, furrowing your eyebrows.
“Yeah,” he said, fumbling with the grocery bag. “I got ice cream, and, and, uh, well, you said you were hurting, so, um-” He cleared his throat, and you couldn’t help but smile at how nervous he was. He dumped out the contents of the bag and revealed that he bought an ice pack, some Midol, and a small tube of Vagisil. Suddenly, you wanted to cry all over again. You sucked in your lower lip and looked up at Tom who immediately frowned. “Oh no,” he said. “I’m sorry. Did I overstep?”
“No, no,” you said, shaking your head. “This is just-” You took a shaky breath. “This is really sweet, Tommy. Thank you.”
Tom’s smile returned as he nodded once. “Alright,” he said. “I’ll go get spoons, you pick a film, okay?”
“Okay,” you said back. He took the ice pack to put in the freezer for a while, and you moved everything else to the bedside table. “Tom?” you called after him.
“Yeah?”
“Can you get me some water too?”
“Of course!”
You worked to open up the Midol which you did just as he came back with spoons and a water for you. You thanked him, downed two of the pills, and smiled as he plopped beside you on the bed. “Did you pick a film yet?” he asked, allowing you to sit between his legs and rest your back on his chest.
“No,” you said. “Something on Disney+ I think.”
“Whatever you want, love.”
You eventually settled on Monsters Inc. which Tom said was fine. Realistically, you knew he would’ve been okay with whatever you picked. Less than halfway through the film, you and Tom had already abandoned the ice cream, allowing it to melt slowly on the bedside table. One of you would put it away in the freezer before going to bed. As the minutes ticked on and the ache between your legs started to subside, you couldn’t help but think about Theo again. Tom must’ve noticed your shift in demeanor, because he rubbed your stomach with his thumbs and nudged your cheek with his nose. “Are you okay?” he asked. You hung your head and closed your eyes, not wanting to burst into tears all over again.
“Just wish I did it all different,” you whispered. He hesitated a moment.
“Do you want to tell me what happened?” he asked. You swallowed back the lump in your throat before speaking.
“We got back from dinner,” you told him, “and I invited him into my apartment.” You shook your head at the memories. “Everything happened so fast. We were kissing, and then, he was taking off his clothes and-” You couldn’t help it. Tears started to come again. You felt so sad and stupid and embarrassed and hurt and used. “-he didn’t even take off my dress. He didn’t touch me or anything. He just put on the condom and-” You cut yourself off with another shake of your head, figuring Tom got the picture. “It was over pretty quick, and he asked me if I came and I just said yes.”
“But you didn’t?” he asked.
“Of course I didn’t,” you mumbled, painfully aware of the shake in your voice. “He didn’t do anything to make me feel good at all. I feel so stupid.”
“You shouldn’t,” he said. “If anyone should feel stupid, it should be him. He’s clearly shitty at sex.” You giggled softly which made Tom smile and nudge his nose against your cheek again. You looked up at him. “I’m sorry your first time wasn’t more special,” he said. “I know you wanted it to be nice. And you deserved something nice.”
“It’s whatever,” you said dismissively. “Maybe I made a bigger deal out of it than I should’ve. I set my expectations too high.”
“No you didn’t,” Tom said. “You just wanted a good first time. That’s not asking too much. Hell, you didn’t even get to cum. You’re allowed to be upset about this.”
You scoffed. “Well, let’s just say I’m deleting Tinder, so I don’t see me getting anything better anytime soon. Not unless I meet some sex god at the office.” Tom sighed and kissed your temple.
“You’ll find someone better,” he mumbled against your skin. “I promise.”
-
After the whole Theo fiasco, you deleted Tinder, deciding whatever game you wanted to call that just wasn’t for you. Everyday went by with the same routine. Wake up, work, come home, watch TV, go to bed, repeat. Eating was sprinkled in here and there, and you tried to change up your meals whenever you could for a little bit of variety. Otherwise, it was all very monotonous.
So when you got home on Friday and found a note taped to your front door, you were rightfully confused. You pulled it from the wall, let yourself into your apartment, and closed the door behind you with your foot as you ripped the envelope open.
(Y/N)-
We haven’t gotten dinner in a while. Wear something nice, and I’ll pick you up at 6:00! It’s gonna be great x
Tom
You pressed your lips into a tight line and held the note to your chest as you leaned against the door. Sometimes you hated Tom for doing stuff like this. He was such boyfriend material, but he would never be that. Did he have any idea what he did to you? How he made you feel? Probably not. You loved Tom, but he sure was thick sometimes.
It was already about 5:00, so you had to get ready pretty quickly. You put on a white, lace, bodycon dress and started to do your hair and makeup. Tom arrived before you were quite finished, but he let himself in. “(Y/N)?” he called.
“Bedroom!” you called back. He came in, and you caught his reflection in the mirror. He looked handsome, as expected: blue slacks, a white button-up, and brown shoes that matched his brown belt. You turned to look at him, your lips slightly parted. Before you could say anything-
“Wow,” he whispered. “You-” He chuckled. “Wow.”
“Shut up,” you said with a laugh. “Don’t be weird.”
“I’m not!” he said, matching your laugh. “I’m just saying. Wow. You look great.”
“Well thank you,” you said, walking up to him. You straightened his collar that was folded oddly. “You don’t look too bad yourself.” You patted his chest and tried not to let your hands linger for too long. Tom stuck his arm out for you to take, which you did, and the two of you walked out to his car.
You and Tom had been going on friend dates for ages. Once he became famous, he loved treating you to fancy dinners whenever you both had time to spare. You on the other hand were a sucker for bowling nights and paintball tournaments. But nice restaurants were lovely too, and any time you could spend with Tom, you would take.
Dinner flowed as nicely as it always did when you were together. You chatted about your work, and he shared as many details of his newest project as he could. The whole time, you couldn’t help but feel like there was a weird tension in the air. Maybe tension wasn’t the right word. There was just something going on with Tom that you couldn’t quite place. You didn’t ask him about it until you left the restaurant. He invited you back to his place for drinks, and you obliged.
“Are you okay?” you asked him as he pulled out of the restaurant parking lot. “You seem a little off.”
“Off?” he repeated. “What do you mean?”
“I don’t know,” you said. “Forget it.” Tom just chuckled and continued the drive down the street. When you arrived at his apartment, you knew for a fact something was going on with him, and you didn’t like how he was hiding it. “What is up with you, Tom?” you asked him. “I know something’s going on. I know you.” He took a deep breath and ran a hand through his hair as he closed the door behind the both of you when you got inside.
“You know I love you and care about you,” he said.
“Of course,” you said, folding your arms across your chest. “Why are you-”
“C’mere,” he said, taking your hand. Your eyebrows furrowed even deeper than they already were but allowed him to walk you over to his bedroom. When you walked in, your lips parted slightly in shock. He had a lamp light on and his essential oil diffuser (the one you bought him for Christmas) going, the soothing smell of lavender filling the room. On the bed -which was neatly made; a rare occurrence at Tom’s house- were rose petals. You turned to look at him, sure he could hear your heart pounding in your chest. “There’s no pressure,” he said, rubbing the back of his neck, “but I couldn’t stop thinking about how unfair it is that your first time was so horrible. It should’ve been with someone special like you wanted. Someone who cares about you. And, well-” He sighed as if realizing he was fumbling around the point. “I want to make it up to you. I want to show you what good sex is supposed to be like.”
“You, y- you, uh,” you stuttered. “You want to have sex with me?” He licked his lips and took a step closer to you.
“No pressure,” he said. “No strings. Just good sex and the guarantee of at least one orgasm.”
You swallowed thickly. “At, at least one?” Tom smiled and nodded, then closed the distance between the two of you by wrapping his arms around you.
“At least one,” he repeated. He could tell you were hesitant by the way you were nibbling on your lower lip, so he stroked your cheek gently in an attempt to calm you down. “If you say yes and you change your mind while we’re doing it, that’s okay too. I’ll take it nice and slow for you.” He paused, licking his lips as he glanced down at yours, then up at your eyes again. “But if this is too weird, that’s fine. I just wanted to give you the chance to have great sex with someone who cares about you.”
You giggled a bit. “Are you saying you’re great at sex?”
“Mm,” he hummed with a smug smile. “I don’t want to brag, but I’ve never heard any complaints.” You melted into Tom’s touch as he pulled you a little closer and buried his face in your neck. “What do you say, darling?” he whispered, kissing your skin lightly. “You want me to make you feel good?” You took a shaky breath and closed your eyes as Tom sucked the skin of your pulse point, surely leaving a bruise.
“Yeah,” you whispered. You felt Tom smile before he pulled back to look at you. He pressed his forehead to yours and kissed your nose.
“Okay,” he said. “C’mere.” The two of you walked over to the bed, and Tom helped you move to the head of the bed. He sat in front of you with his legs crossed, and you mirrored his position. You tried to give him a strong smile, but you knew it came out small and nervous. He chuckled softly and put his hand on your cheek. “S’okay to be nervous,” he said. You bit your lip and nodded just as he started to lean forward and brush his lips against yours. You released your hold on your bottom lip and accepted his kiss, opening your mouth as soon as Tom traced his tongue across your lip. Already, this was different than when you were with Theo. It was like Tom was pouring his care into the kiss.
You put your arms over his shoulders and played with the hairs at the nape of his neck. He started to lay you down on the bed, and you could feel your breathing pick up. Still, you kept your lips pressed to his. His tongue massaged against yours, and you held in your whimpers as best as you could. It got harder when he started trailing kisses down your jaw and neck. His mouth wasn’t muffling your noises, so you had to bite your lip to keep yourself quiet. “Darling,” he whispered against your collarbone, “you look like an angel in this dress.”
“Thank you,” you whispered, your eyes fluttering closed.
“Can you lay on your stomach for me?” he asked. “Wanna unzip you.” You nodded and rolled over, and you swore you heard him hum as he put his hands on the back of your thighs. He ran them up your body, pausing to squeeze your ass which made you jump. He chuckled and moved to unzip the dress, kissing the skin that was exposed as he removed the fabric. You turned to sit up so he could pull the dress off you, and he licked his lips when he saw you weren’t wearing a bra. Everything suddenly felt very real, and you moved to cover yourself. Tom frowned and shook his head. “You’re so beautiful, (Y/N),” he said. You hung your head, still feeling an odd sense of uncomfortableness, but Tom was having none of that. He lifted your head and kissed you again. He laid you down on the bed and started kissing down your neck. “How’re you doing?” he asked, feeling your erratic pulse against his lips.
“Just nervous,” you admitted. Because this was Tom. You could be honest with Tom.
“That’s okay,” he said, sucking your pulse point until a bruise formed and you whimpered. “‘S not gonna hurt, okay, love? ‘M just gonna use my mouth to start. Warm you up and make sure you’re ready for me.”
“Okay,” you whispered.
“And you let me know if anything doesn’t feel good,” he said. You nodded, and Tom kissed down your body, pausing to pay attention to each of your breasts. He sucked on each nipple until it was hard and extra sensitive to the touch. He smiled as he nipped at your bud until you whined and tugged your fingers through his hair. You could feel a pulsing between your legs, and you needed more. Tom could tell, because he smiled again and kissed down your stomach until he got to the waistband of your panties. He looked up at you through his eyelashes, and you licked your lips and stared up at the ceiling. When you broke eye contact, he tucked his fingers in your panties and pulled them down your legs. Your breath hitched, but you didn’t say anything. Tom would take care of you. You had no doubts about that. If he said it wouldn’t hurt, you believed him.
Tom pushed your legs apart and brought his mouth down to your thighs, kissing each of them before placing his mouth on your opening. You gasped and put your hands in his hair, and you felt him smile. His thumbs dug into your thighs as he licked up your slit, avoiding contact with your clit. And as badly as you wanted him to touch you there, this was already feeling better than everything Theo had done to you. “Tom,” you breathed out, squeezing your eyes shut. “Feels so go-” You cut yourself off with a moan as Tom started swirling his tongue around your clit. “Oh Christ,” you muttered. “Tom!” He wrapped his lips around your clit and sucked, causing you to whine again and arch your back.
“Can I add a finger?” he asked.
“Yeah,” you gasped. “Yes. Please, Tom.” He nodded and sucked his finger in his mouth, then slowly eased it into your opening. “Ahh!” you moaned.
“You okay, love?” he asked.
“Mhm,” you hummed. He slowly started moving his finger, still keeping his mouth on your clit. You squeezed your eyes shut as he slid another finger inside you. The sudden change in fullness startled you in a good way. So this was what foreplay was supposed to feel like. Tom added another finger, and you swore you were in heaven. He could tell you were feeling good by the way your jaw was dropped but no noise was coming out. He smiled and curled his fingers a bit so that they grazed your g-spot perfectly. “Tom,” you whispered. “I, I’m-”
“Cum for me, darling,” he said. “I’ve got you.”
Your thighs squeezed around his hand as he flicked his tongue over your clit and moved his fingers faster in and out of you. In seconds, you were coming around his fingers with a soft cry as you dug your head into the pillow. Tom kissed your thighs and slowed his fingers down to help you ride out your high. When you caught your breath, you blinked your eyes open and looked down at him. He had a lazy smile on his face, and he kissed up your body until he got to your lips. “You want to keep going?” he asked. You nodded and lifted your head slightly to kiss him. He pulled back quickly and tugged his shirt over his head, then let his jeans and boxers follow.
His cock was more impressive than Theo’s. Longer. Thicker. If his foreplay wasn’t enough, you knew now that sex with Tom was about to be much better than it was with Theo. Tom reached into his bedside drawer and pulled out a condom, wasting no time rolling it onto his length with his lower lip tucked between his teeth. He pressed his hands into the mattress on either side of your head, and you gripped his biceps in your hands, your nails leaving little half moon shapes across his skin. “S’okay,” he whispered to you, stroking your cheek with the back of his hand. “S’not gonna hurt, okay? I promise.” He leaned down to pepper gentle kisses across your face. “Do you trust me, love?” You nodded.
“Yeah,” you whispered. “Yeah. I trust you.”
Tom smiled and gripped his cock, lining himself up with your pussy. He guided himself in, inch by inch, kissing your neck and whispering words of encouragement into your ear as he did so. He was right. It didn’t hurt. In facte, it felt so fucking good, you wanted to cry. “Oh, Tom,” you muttered, your head tossing back. He kissed up the column of your neck, and you could feel a smile across his lips. Once he bottomed out, Tom paused, giving you time to adjust. You let out a shaky breath, and he moved his head so he could look in your eyes. He only hovered for a moment before pressing his lips to yours. You sighed into the kiss as his tongue slipped into your mouth, fighting for dominance against yours. He stayed still until you wrapped your legs around his waist, silently encouraging him to move. He pulled his hips back and thrust them forward in a slow, smooth stroke. You cried out in pleasure, and Tom moved to kiss your neck again.
“Oh fuck, (Y/N),” he moaned. “How’s it feel?”
“Tom,” you cried. “Feels so good.” He brought his fingers up to his lips and licked two of them before sliding his hand between your bodies. His fingers found your clit right away, and he started rubbing fast circles, hoping to bring you close to that edge. He wanted more than anything to move faster, to pound into your tight cunt like it was all his -like you were all his- but he held back. This time couldn’t hurt you at all. He wouldn’t be like that other guy. He wanted you to remember this. To happily remember this. Even more than that, he wanted this to mean something.
He just wasn’t sure he was ready to admit that much yet.
You squeezed around his member, and Tom muttered, “Fuck,” under his breath and moved his hips a little faster. “You’re close,” he said. It was a statement. Not a question. Like he already knew your body better than you did.
“Yeah,” you confirmed. “‘M close.”
He let his hand move at the same pace as his hips -faster and faster, bringing you closer and closer to climaxing. “Tom,” you cried. “I’m, I’m gonna, oh.”
You squeezed your eyes shut and came, squeezing so tightly he came right after. He moaned your name in your ear, slowing the movement of his hips to help you ride out your high. You gripped his hair in your fists, and he started kissing your neck again. “You’re so beautiful,” he whispered. “Did you know that? Do you know how beautiful you are?” He pulled back so he could look in your eyes, then brushed his knuckles across your cheek again.
“Thanks, Tom,” you whispered. He smiled and pulled out of you, frowning as soon as you winced.
“Are you okay?” he asked. “Are you hurt? Did I hurt you?”
“No,” you said, shaking your head. “I’m okay.” He smiled softly and kissed your cheek, then pushed himself out of bed.
“Want you to go to the bathroom, okay?” he said. “Then we can go to bed.” You nodded, your head feeling a little hazy, then got out of bed. Tom watched with a soft smile as you trotted off to the bathroom. While you were gone, he changed the sheets, put on some clean boxers, and got you a pair of boxers and a t-shirt to wear to bed. You were back in a few moments, your hair now up in a bun and your makeup off your face. You gave him a sheepish smile, your arms folded awkwardly across your chest, and he smiled back. “I got you some clothes,” he told you. “You’re staying the night, yeah?”
“If that’s okay,” you said, hanging your head a bit.
“Course,” Tom said. You smiled, then took the clothes he offered you and changed. By the time you were dressed, Tom was under the covers. You got into bed beside him, and turned on your side to face him. “So,” he said, reaching out to stroke your cheek again, “how was that?”
You giggled. “I think you already know the answer to that.”
He chuckled. “It’s always good to hear the compliments out loud.” You rolled your eyes and gave his shoulder a shove. Your expression shifted a bit.
“How was I?” you asked. He gave you a soft smile.
“You were perfect, love,” he said. “Best I ever had.”
“Shut up,” you said. “Don’t lie.”
“I’m not lying!” he said. “I’ve ever had sex with someone I-” He cut himself off, his smile dropping a bit. “It’s just different.”
“With someone you what?” you asked. Tom swallowed, and you could sense something that looked like nerves in his eyes. “What?” you pressed, a giggle passing your lips. “What’s on your mind?” He sighed and sat up, causing you to furrow your eyebrows and mimic his position.
“(Y/N),” he said, “I love you.”
Your response was immediate.
“What?”
“I love you,” he repeated. “And, and I care about you so much. When, when you said sex with that douchebag was so bad, I wanted it to be better for you. You deserve something better than that. I really mean that. But, but what I didn’t tell you was that it was also, it was a way for me to-” He sighed, clearly annoyed with himself. “I wanted to sleep with you because I love you. I, I saw this as a chance to, to be with you the way I want to be with you. And I know how wrong that is. I know how messed up that sounds, but-”
“You love me?” you said. You were still having a hard time processing the admission. He just sighed and nodded. Before he could say anything else -and he looked like he was going to say something else- you closed the small space between the two of you in a kiss. He jumped, but the shock wore off quickly, and he rested his hand on your cheek. He smiled beneath the kiss, and you smiled back. When you pulled away, you kept your foreheads pressed together. “I love you too,” you whispered. “And, honestly, I wish my first time had been with you, but, but I’m glad you made this one count.”
“Yeah,” he said with a small chuckle. “Me too. And don’t you worry-” He pressed a kiss to your nose. “-all the times after this are gonna be just as good.”
“Yeah?” you giggled. “Promise?”
“Oh yeah,” he said with a grin. “I promise.”

“Y/n!”
Ringing echoed in your ear painfully.
“Please, don’t leave me. I need you,” you heard Bucky’s voice echo as well.
Smoke filled your lungs and you felt like you couldn’t breathe. Your leg burned but you can’t seem to figure out why it did.
“Y/n, keep your eyes open, come on, baby,” Bucky voice sounded warped and you tried your hardest to focus on his voice. Your eyes grew too heavy and soon you blacked out.
“Help!”
“Somebody!”
“She’s fallen into a come; it was all we could do.”
“I’m here, baby.”
“The other day, Steve and I went to the store and I found your favorite flowers. I just had to buy them of course; for you.”
“Peter asked about you today, I didn’t really know what to tell him so I told him about the story of when we first met.”
“Baby, please wake up; I need you, I miss you so fucking much.”
“Wake up.”
“Wake up.”
“WAKE UP!”
Bucky sat next to you by your bed as you laid still and unmoving just as you had been for the past three months. Bucky came everyday to the medical center and talked to you even though he knew you probably couldn’t hear him. He held your hand softly and suddenly the heartbeat monitor that you were hooked up to for the time being began beeping very quickly. Worried, Bucky called for Dr. Cho and Bruce to come to the medical center as soon as possible.
“What happened?” Bruce asked Buck.
“I don’t know, I was just sitting here and it started beeping really fast,” Bucky said, panicked.
“Ok can you step out please?” Bruce started to lead him out and others arrived at the medical center after hearing the commotion.
“No, I’m not leaving her,” Bucky fought.
“Bucky, please,” Bruce begged.
“No, no!” Bucky thrashed around as Steve grabbed him and pulled him out.
Hours later felt like an eternity as Bucky waited outside your door. He waited for any news but he was clueless. Nat, Sam, Steve, and Tony waited with him also clueless about the status of your condition. Wanda and Vision had returned from a mission aware of the news and rushed to meet the rest of the team at the medical center.
“Is she awake?” Wanda asked breathlessly.
“We don’t know,” Nat answered.
“Vis?” Wanda turned to him.
“I’m afraid I’m in a bit of a state of panic, I don’t think I can get an evaluation right now,” he said sadly.
“Don’t stress, you two. Go get some rest. We’ll let you know what happens,” Steve told them.
They waited all night and by morning they all rested on top of each other, heads on each other's shoulders still waiting for any type of news. When the door suddenly opened, everyone who was asleep instantly and simultaneously woke up anxious for what news they’d receive.
“Barnes,” Bruce said softly; Bucky expected the worst, tears brimming his eyes silently preparing himself for the end of his happiness.
“She asked for you,” he said and Bucky sobbed, thankful you were awake. He took a very deep breath and walked through the door alone.
When his eyes met yours he felt like he couldn't breathe anymore. You looked so beautiful and he couldn’t believe you were awake again. He waited so long to be able to hear your voice, hold you close, tell stories and laugh with you.
“Bucky,” you whispered.
He lunged at you and hugged you tightly and you hugged him back just as hard.
“You came back to me,” Bucky sobbed into your shoulder.
“Of course I did; I always come back to you,” your voice croaked.
“I missed you so much, baby,” he cupped your face.
“What happened?”
“You played hero, like you always do,” Bucky chuckled.
You were held up after being ambushed by too many Hydra agents. You had the material you needed and sent it over to Fury and Hill; now you just had to get the hell out of there but that was proving to be an entire challenge in itself.
Hydra had thrown smoke bombs at you two in hopes to distract and lose you but you proved to be stealthier and stronger taking out many agents already. Bucky was busy fighting an agent as were you and you took down your agent before he did.
You turned to him and to the very side of Bucky a man had detonated a bomb that wasn't a smoke bomb. You didn’t think much before you moved forward and covered the bomb with your body. Bucky snapped the neck of his enemy and grabbed you to pull you away from the bomb but it got stuck to leg and exploded.
Ringing echoed in your ear painfully.
Smoke filled your lungs and you felt like you couldn’t breathe.
Bucky grabbed you and knew it was best to not move you considering the state you were in; he couldn’t risk a single thing. More hydra agents flooded in and Bucky grabbed the gun you held and fired perfect headshots to each agent killing every single one easily.
He held you close and tried to connect to someone but the bomb interfered with both your comms. He yelled and screamed and cried keeping you in his arms looking for anyone who could be a friend nearby.
Your eyes fluttered and he kept telling you to stay awake, to keep talking, to stay alive. He couldn’t lose you.
“Hey, you can’t leave me; today’s our anniversary, remember? Four years today. The best four years of my life baby. I can’t lose you,” he cried.
Your body felt limp in his arms and he cried even more. The quinjet came up and medics came and took you away from him. He yelled and shouted and protested but ultimately broke down from feeling helpless.
Hours later they came and told Bucky that they put in a medically induced coma; it was all your body was willing to negotiate.
“She’s fallen into a come; it was all we could do.”
Bucky stayed by side all night and everyday until today. Your body reacted to the memories and everything Bucky had told while you were asleep. You fought and man did you fight hard. You needed to wake up and you did just that; reunited with the love of life 3 months later.
“God, I love you so much,” Bucky kissed you.
“I love you too.”
============
“Bucky have you seen my black shirt? The one with the laces in the back?” you shouted.
“Did you check the clothes on the hangers?”
“Found it!”
Bucky straightened his shirt with a chuckle as he looked at himself in the mirror. Since the two of you originally missed your anniversary date because you almost got yourself killed. Tony gifted you two a reservation for dinner to celebrate.
Bucky turned around and found staring back at him wearing your black top \you found; you had a small smile on your face.
“You look so beautiful darling,” he whispered holding your hips gently.
“You look very handsome, my love,” you kissed him faintly.
“You ready?” you nodded.
Dinner sucked.
The food was alright, not incredible like you guys had been expecting but that wasn’t even the worst of it. The waiter that was attending to you was constantly flirting with you and Bucky wasn’t having it. When he requested a new one, the waitress that came suddenly lost the top buttons of her shirt and flirted with Bucky.
So you two left.
When you got back to your shared room, Bucky pressed you hard against the door as soon as it closed. His lips kissing you hard and his hand already untying the strings that laced your top. Your hands gripped his shirt and soon entangled themselves in his hair.
“Fucking asshole,” Bucky grunted.
“You think you had a bad time? The bitch suddenly had her tits out when she started waiting us,” you groaned, making Bucky laugh.
“Yeah that wasn't a great experience. I’m sorry, baby.”
“Don’t be; all I need is you and already have that,” you whispered against his lips.
“I fucking adore you,” he said, picking you up and tossing you in the bed.
You sat up and pulled Bucky close to you as you seductively unbuttoned his shirt. Bucky bit his lip as he stared at you and you suddenly felt very small.
“No, don't get all shy on me. Keep going darling,” he encouraged.
You moved your hands down and unbuckled his belt pulling his pants and boxers down his thick thighs you loved so much. You kissed his chest and let your hands roamed across his stomach and waist pulling him close.
He pushed you down on the bed and kissed you breasts, tracing his tongue down the center of your chest to your stomach. He slowly curled his fingers over the hem of your pants and underwear and pulled down your legs as you did to him.
He kissed up your legs before reaching over to the bedside table and pulled a condom from inside the drawer. He pulled it down over his length and pumped a few times before settling perfectly between your hips.
Your legs wrapped around his own hips, excitedly anticipating what's to come. Bucky cupped your face gently, slowly sliding into you with ease. Since you left the stupid resteraunt, you knew Bucky was pissed off and Bucky was pissed you got absolutely railed into oblivion. You were just waiting, arousal dripping from you, for him to snap.
He gave little time to adjust to enormous size; you were already a jittery and whimpering mess underneath him. Your chest heaved up and down and Bucky sat up on his knees pulling you with him. You held his shoulders tightly and continued to move up and down, riding Bucky.
“You look so beautiful, baby. Fuck, I love you so much,” Bucky wrapped his hand around your throat, sqyeezing ever so gently, and pulled you against his lips. With his other hand he held both of your hands behind your back tightly; your chest flushed against his. He could feel your hardened nipples pressing into his skin.
“Bucky,” you moaned.
“Feel good? My cock feel good fucking you deep inside?” he grabbed one of your hands and placed it on your lower stomach; you could feel him poking your hand slightly with each vigorous thrust.
“Oh fuck, baby,” you moaned looking down in between your bodies. The obscene sounds of him moving rapidly in and out of you echoed in the large bedroom. The sight was just as filthy but you were basking in every second of it.
Bucky flipped your body over and pulled your hips up harshly immediately slamming back into you. Your back arch and Bucky’s hands rubbed deliciously up and down your spine. He lifted his hand briefly and striked down smack your ass hard. Your head threw back quickly and you moaned loudly at the tingling sensation left imprinted on you.
Bucky hips snapped into yours repeatedly, seemingly to be chasing his orgasm. Wanting to meet him, you snaked your hand down your front and circled your clit tightening the coil in your stomach. You heard Bucky grunts get louder as did your moans until finally you felt Bucky hips come to a sudden stop.
Your body shook violently as you came hard; your head fell into the pillows and you let out a pornographic moan; high-pitched and shaky. You felt Bucky’s lips moving up your spine softly and your body trembled under them. His hands caress your sides as he gently pulled out.
“You did so well for me, my love. You were perfect,” he whispered. You simply breathed heavily trying to steady your heart rate. You could feel Bucky moving behind you and quickly returned to clean your body up and his too.
“Baby?” he whispered when he was finished cleaning.
“Hm?” you hummed.
“Are you ok?”
“Yes, that was incredible,” you smiled lazily.
“You are so perfect to me. So good to me,” he cuddled you; you squirmed and bit your lip smiling at him of which he returned.
“I love you so much,” he said.
“I love you too, Bucky.”
“Well, uh happy late anniversary, doll,” he said, making you laugh.
“Happy late anniversary.”

By My Side (Part 7)

Summary: Jensen hires a team to help watch over the reader after the events of the night before but his suspicions are high and that might not have been the smartest move on his part...
Masterlist
Pairing: Bodyguard!Jensen x reader
Word Count: 3,700ish
Warnings: language, angst, minor violence
A/N: Enjoy!
_________
Four Hours Later
“Hi,” you said, sat on the end of your bed as Jensen quietly walked inside and closed the door after himself. “Is your shoulder-”
“I gave you a direct order. I know you heard me. I know you purposefully ignored me. I-”
“You were losing.”
“It doesn’t matter if I’m losing the fight, if I’m winning it, you get your ass away from the fight.”
“I was okay though. I-”
“Damnit Y/N!” he shouted. You went quiet, Jensen’s chest puffed out, his hands on his hips. “You promised you would listen to me. You promised.”
“I did listen. I-”
“If I can’t trust you to listen to me, then you’re a risk to the both of us. I will stay on as your bodyguard until I can find a suitable replacement.”
“What?”
“I’m giving my notice. We’re done.”
You stared at him and he narrowed his eyes.
“Oh don’t you-”
“I saved your fucking life!” you said, standing and poking him in the chest.
“I told you to run!” he shouted. You got in his face, brushing your nose against his. “You little...I told-”
“He wasn’t after me,” you said. You backed off as you rubbed the back of your head. “Me he wanted out of the way. He wanted you, didn’t he.”
Jensen bit his bottom lip and looked away but you grabbed his jaw and forced him to look at you.
“Why?”
“Word is out about your bodyguard boyfriend. You have money. I’m ransom money to some people.”
“You’re a shitty liar yourself, Jensen,” you said. You walked away from him and went out to your private balcony overlooking the pool. The door opened after a moment and you crossed your arms, leaning against the railing. A hand ran over your head and tucked a piece of hair behind your ear. “You can’t quit. Why did that person want you?”
“Truthfully, they probably wanted the both of us. I was the bigger threat so the guy went after me first. Next time it won’t just be one guy. Whoever is behind all of this will fork over more money for a team. You need your own team to stop that.”
“Why both of us?”
“I’m a soft spot of yours. Next time though they won’t try to take me probably. They’ll kill me outright. I’m too much hassle to try and deal with.”
“Someone wants to hurt me then?”
“I think a few things but I can’t know for sure. I think your life isn’t in danger. Your safety and the circumstances in which you live the rest of your life are but no, this person doesn’t want you dead. The gun didn’t come into play until you were clear of it. This person very much wants to be in my position.”
“My boyfriend?”
“Your protector. I’ll hire a team tomorrow. I know a guy that would be a good fit for your personal guard.”
“I thought I told you that you couldn’t quit.”
“I told you that when I say run, you run. You didn’t listen to me.”
“I’d make the same decision again.”
“Why?”
“Because he was hurting you and I’ve never been that angry in my life. Even the man that killed my father...maybe it’s because this was right in front of me but as long as I had the chance to help, I was going to help. Any bodyguard of mine is going to deal with that so get used to it.”
He leaned back against the railing, staring into the bedroom. He took a deep breath and rubbed his cut shoulder, sliding his hand over to your arm. He unfolded it and took your hand in his, giving it a squeeze.
“I would have liked to have met your father. It sounds like he raised an incredibly brave person like himself.”
“I run if you run too. I hide if you hide,” you said, turning your head. “New rules.”
“Alright. I still want a team. I have a feeling tomorrow night is going to be bad again.”
“I’m supposed to go to Gen’s baby shower,” you said.
“Do you want gun’s around your pregnant best friend?” he asked. You shook your head and he nodded. “They’ll need to reschedule anyways.”
“Why?”
“I need Jared on this with me and he won’t leave his wife and child. They-”
“Jensen. Leave them be. Jared needs to take care of his family. You’ll find a good team. We’ll just...take it one day at a time,” you said.
“You should get some sleep.” He pulled you gently backwards until you spun around and followed him inside. You crawled under the covers, Jensen dragging a chair you had over to your small desk.
“You’re not sleeping?”
“I need to work. I’ll sleep in the morning once I have a hire here to take over for me. You go ahead. I’ll keep an eye out.”
“Jensen,” you said as you lay down. He hummed and stopped the side of the bed before going off to get his laptop you assumed. “Make sure whoever you hires knows to keep an eye out for you too.”
“Yes mam,” he said softly. “Get some rest, honey.”
You woke up late the next day, Jensen passed out in his room when you trodded down the hall. There were five guys and a woman sitting at your dining room table, one of them standing as you gave a wave to them.
“Ms. Y/L/N. Good morning. I’m Brock Finley. I am your second in command and this is my team,” he said.
“I have two rules. Don’t drink all of my coffee and dudes, don’t leave the seat up and clean up after yourselves.”
“Yes, Mr. Ackles did go over your...requests earlier this morning,” said Brock.
“Walk with me, Mr. Finely,” you said, curling a finger. You walked him over to the kitchen, Brock reminding you a bit like Jensen when you first met him. “How do you know Jensen?”
“We served at the same time. I was injured on an operation with him, we recovered in the medical hospital in the same ward and grew to know one another.”
“Keep him safe,” you said. “As safe as me. I’m scared for him.”
“Mr. Ackles is in charge of-”
“I know. But keep him safe. Please.”
“We’ll do our best. The team’s been investigating possible leads and working with your manager to comb through any threats you may have received that seemed minor or even infatuations with you. I think Mr. Ackles is onto something with that track.”
“I honestly have no idea what’s going on anymore,” you laughed. “If you need anything from me, let me know. I plan on staying home today. My step-brother will dropping by shortly.”
“In the future please let us know in advance when guests will be…” he said as he saw the look on your face. “I’m going to return to work. There’s a team of eighteen on the premise, nineteen including Mr. Ackles. Don’t be alarmed if you see people outside.”
“Good to know,” you said, shaking your head as he left. “Eighteen? Really Jensen? I’m barely a B list actor on a good day.”
The doorbell rang and you caught the clock, nearly noon as you groaned. You rushed over and pulled it open, Nick standing there with a very confused look on his face and backpack over his shoulders.
“Hey,” you said as you let him inside.
“Nice SWAT team. Something going on?” he asked.
“Let’s go swimming. Better to talk there.”
“Wow,” said Nick twenty minutes later after you’d told him everything that had happened recently.
“Yup. I didn’t call you to come over cause of that though. I was...I’m nervous that with everyone moving out here you’re gonna be alone back home and it...scares me when...Jensen said something about us loving each other even if we don’t like one another and I think he had a point. I don’t want you to go to a dark place again Nick.”
“Y/N, could you slow down for a second? I know you move at a faster pace than most of us but I’m still on the fact you shot a gun last night. The chick that cried that time she thought she hit a squirrel in the road and she didn’t.”
“Oh. Sorry,” you said. You sat on the steps in the shallow end, Nick wading over and joining you. He sat back and played with the water in front of him for a moment before he let out a deep sigh.
“I like you, Y/N. Michael and I both do. We love you.”
“Why are you two so mean all the time then? It’s not teasing. It’s mean.”
“Cause you’re dad’s favorite. We know it. He never hid it from us. When we needed him, he was always with you and your mom. We think of her as our mom now and you our little sister but god we needed him and we were left on our own. You were an easy target to make us feel more in control. Instead of bonding with you, someone who understood exactly what we felt, we took advantage and we never bothered to stop. You were tough and could take it and we’re assholes. I’m sorry. The only reason I’m alive is because of you. You got me help. You still pay for my therapy. Shit I call you in the middle of the night and you pick up every time and just listen to me. You’re always going to be a better person than I am, Y/N. I suck at saying it but I’ve always been grateful to have you as my sister.”
“Could have just said that in the first place,” you said, wiping your face with the back of your hand for a second. “Come out here, Nick. You’d put my mind at rest.”
“I was never coming,” he said with a smile. “I sort of have a place already lined up back home with a roommate.”
“Yeah but I’m sure…” you said, catching the look on his face. “Oh. A roommate. Oh. Oh.”
“Yeah, hi, I’m bi in case you weren’t aware,” he chuckled. “Michael’s known since we were teenagers but I swore him to secrecy.”
“If we’re gonna have secrets, can we at least just keep them from the parents from now on?” you asked.
“Yeah, I’d like that,” said Nick. “Seriously don’t know you how didn’t catch on that I hang out with my best friend like all the time. Like all the time. And I sleep at his apartment all the-”
“I get it,” you said, Nick smiling. “He good to you?”
“Yeah. You don’t have to worry so much. You’re not the only one watching out for me,” he said. “But you though...what are you involved in?”
“I don’t know,” you said. “Last night got way too close for...say that again.”
“What are you involved in?” he asked.
“Nick, can you do me a favor, like a monumentally huge favor and not tell anyone else about what I said. This is gonna be over tonight anyways.”
“What’s going on?” he asked as you stood.
“I know who wants to kidnap me.”
“Who?”
“My old manager of course. Can you keep everybody away from here the rest of the day? I have a feeling this is going to be messy.”
“She has a point,” said Jensen, half dressed ten minutes later as you spoke to him and Brock, the floor still a bit wet from where Nick had walked out the front door to head back to the hotel. “She did ruin his career.”
“But why escalate?”
“He wants money and his career back...and she is smarter than both of us put together,” said Jensen as it clicked for him.
“You got it?” you asked as he nodded.
“Involved Inn. It’s the firm your manager used to work with. It’s the firm your current manager works with.”
“Inside man,” said Brock. “How’d he know you’d hire him?”
“He knows the kind of person I like to work with and he was smart enough to research Jensen and know that a military background wouldn’t hurt.”
“Oh fuck,” said Jensen, his face going white.
“What?” you asked. He swallowed as he looked around, putting his hand on his holster and pulling out his gun. He undid the clip and showed you that it was empty. “Don’t you need bullets in that?”
“There were bullets,” said Jensen, grabbing your hand and pulling you away from Brock. “Finely Associates. They’re hooked up with Involved Inn. Very, very closely involved.”
“You chose the absolute worst possible group of people to hire you know,” said Brock. Jensen walked backwards with you into the living area, the both of you catching sight of the various guards around. “Two against eighteen is not very good odds.”
“Let me talk to your boss, we can-” you said.
“Kid was unknowingly in on it. Didn’t think his old mentor would screw him over like that,” said Brock. “So here’s how it goes. We-“
“This doesn’t add up. People don’t admit to shit in real life like that. No one’s forcing you to say a thing. This is a paycheck for you. No, something else is going on. You just want us to think it was my old manager, don’t you?” you said. Brock tilted his chin up and you crossed your arms. “You knew Jensen would hire your team and we’d make a connection. So here’s how it really goes. I guarantee I got more money than whatever you’re being paid. You drop this little charade, I pay you, and we get down to the issue of who hired you.”
“Mr. Ackles hired us.”
“You know what I mean. Who-”
“Mr. Ack-”
“I didn’t hire you to do this,” said Jensen. “I said...you got a second phone call, didn’t you. One saying you wanted to perform a live test, didn’t you.”
Brock was silent and Jensen made a face.
“Tell me the truth or you’re all fired and being brought up on charges immediately,” said Jensen. Brock looked nervous for the first time and you pouted.
“You said-”
“Dammit, Finley. You’re all fired. Leave. Now.”
“But sir you said-”
“I hired you to protect her, not play games. All of you, get the fuck out.”
Brock nodded and the team all left, Jensen getting in Brock’s face.
“You are always so gullible. Always. It’s what landed your ass in that hospital. You never verify information. Just go in head first. I-” said Jensen, Brock’s jaw clenching.
“At least my whole unit wasn’t corrupt behind my back! At least I didn’t wind up living in a hole in the ground for weeks because I was too stupid to see-”
“Get the fuck out of my house.” Jensen’s whole body was tense as Brock left, his hands clenched by his sides. The house was eerily still, the only sound was Jensen’s harsh breathing.
After a moment he calmed and turned around, looking you up and down.
“I’m sorry. I thought Brock was smarter than falling for a fake phone call.”
“What exactly just happened?” you asked.
“Whoever wants you set up a fake drill, a test of sorts. Normally we would run one with the participants knowledge or give them a heads up in order to find vulnerabilities in a protection detail. What just happened was to mess with you and for this guy to say he’s smarter than us. It scares me because he probably is and he’s miles ahead of us. I don’t know how to keep you safe by myself, Y/N and I sure as shit don’t know who I can trust.”
“Your old unit, the good ones, call them. They’ll help you.”
“They’re all over the country.”
“You call them and I will get them out here. I will give them whatever they want. Private jets are a thing you know.”
“Y/N-”
“We need help. Let’s get help.”
“I’m sorry I’m so horrible at my job.”
“If you were horrible at your job I’d be in some basement right now. We’ll get through this and then just you and me can go on a trip away, just the two of us,” you said. He looked down and you padded over, taking his hand. “Okay?”
“I can’t stop everything,” he said. “This guy is smarter than anyone I’ve dealt with before, way smarter.”
“Then we call in for backup. We got this. I promise.”
Later That Evening
“Jared,” you said as he walked in the front door with a hum. “Jared Padalecki. What the hell are you-”
“Don’t even start with me,” he said, shutting the door after himself. You opened your mouth but he simply adjusted the bag over his shoulder. “Gen and Tom are safe and you need all hands on deck and frankly I was coming whether you liked it or not.”
“Jared-” you said as he walked past and into the living room.
“I’m here. Get over it,” he said before putting on a smile. “Hey guys. I swear you got uglier, Benny.”
“Must be from looking at you,” said Benny before he stood and gave Jared a hug. You hung back at the kitchen island, quietly listening to the eight of them talk and catch up before Jensen was standing and going over what had happened lately. You got a bit lost once they started talking in technical terms but suddenly they were breaking and everybody was grabbing their bags.
“How you holding up?” asked Jensen when he took a seat beside you.
“Nervous,” you said. “Tonight’s gonna be bad, isn’t it.”
“Hopefully not,” said Jensen as a redheaded woman went over to your fridge and grabbed a can of beer. “Y/N, this is Charlie. She was in charge of tech and surveillance for us back in the day. She works for google now, right?”
“That’s so three jobs ago,” she said with a smile. “She’s cute.”
“Thanks,” you said, Jensen rolling his eyes. “Oh, you’re…”
“Jensen ever bores you, give me a call,” she said with a wink. You swallowed and she laughed, Jensen chuckling to himself. “I’m joking. If I were into dudes I probably would be all over that myself.”
“You are not what I was expecting,” you said.
“Oh just cause we did secret stuff didn’t mean we were all sir yes sir.”
“Charlie was picked straight out of college for her...unique compter skills we’ll call it. If I could train this flailing hot mess, you’ll be just fine, honey. Charlie’s going to stay here with Ash as an attempted diversion. She’ll wear your clothes, Ash’ll wear mine. They’ll put on some wigs, we’ll see how that goes tonight.”
“Where are we going?”
“So this is an interesting hiding spot,” you said, squatted down in your next door neighbors kitchen twenty minutes later. “Thanks again Doug, I really appreciate it, even if I don’t get what’s going on yet.”
“It’s no problem, kid. The girls are on the road with their mother for the week so perfect timing,” he said. Jensen paced back and forth by the window in the dark house, not that you had much of a view of your own from over there. “Mind if I ask why you two trust me of all people?”
“Because you were halfway through kicking that paparazzi’s ass by the time I even showed up,” said Jensen, glancing over his shoulder. “You don’t want someone hurting your kids. It’s not a big leap to you keeping a watchful eye on your young neighbor just in case.”
“What are you expecting to learn from all this though. Aren’t you just going to get the team at best and not the guy?” asked Doug.
“Team could lead us to answers.”
“You know that won’t work. You’re trying to keep your head above water at this point, aren’t you,” he said.
“Yeah, Doug, I am,” said Jensen, snapping back quickly. “You have any genius ideas I’d love to hear them.”
“Y/N, when your show starts back up, would you mind letting the girls have a tour of set? They love it,” said Doug.
“Of course. If I’m still around that is,” you said. He smiled and glanced at his computer. “What?”
“I’m about to use up a huge favor that’s owed me. Glad I held onto it all these years,” he said. He took a seat behind his laptop and took out his phone.
“What are you doing?” asked Jensen.
“I’m going to ask for surveillance from last night, see if we can’t backtrack where that intruder originally came from.”
“You can do that?” you asked.
“It’s not easy but yeah, I can do that. I still have a few friends in the business. Let’s see if we can get you kids a break.”

Chapter zero: his best creation.
It is said that the eyes are a window to the soul, but when they look at you, your eyes are glassy, it is impossible to read the slightest emotion, your soul is empty, your soul has been replaced by a void, by the nothingness. Yet, you smile. A smile that is hard to describe, it is not forced, but it is not genuine either. It's just there.
You look at yourself in the bedroom mirror, and you hardly recognize yourself. Your fingers rest on the choker that adorns your neck, and for a brief second, your smile wears off, and your eyes seem to clear, but it disappears just as quickly. The choker is in red satin, a heart-shaped pendant in the middle. A letter is engrave on it. K.
The alarm on your phone makes you jump, and you turn to the object on the nightstand. It's time for you to go downstairs for breakfast. Kun must already be waiting for you. You turn off the alarm, and leave the room. If the bedroom is warm, the hallways are cold, or maybe it is just the cold from the tiling under your feet creeping into your body.
The marble stairs shine under your passage, and you do not dare to put your hand on the railing, of fear of leaving a trace. The house is immaculate, pristine. Anyone entering the house unexpectedly would think that no on lives here, that this is just a show house. This is what you also believed the first time you came here. Everything is in its place. Everything is perfect, just like Kun.
You walk into the dining room, and you see Kun. He is seated at the table, his laptop where a plate should be, but you know that in the morning, he likes to work while you eat, so he can spend a little more time with you before going to work. And you appreciate that. At least, you think you do.
The chair creaks as you pull it away from the table, and Kun looks up from his screen. He takes off his glasses which he puts on the table, and he smiles with a sweetness that warms your heart. "Good morning, my love, how are you?" you hold out your hand for him, and he takes it to place a tender kiss on the back. "I'm fine. I missed you in bed this morning."
Kun nods, and he gets up from his chair to fill your plate with fresh fruits, and pancakes drenched in maple syrup, just the way he knows you like them. "I'm sorry, doll, I had some late work to finish." if you live for Kun, Kun lives for his work. It is sad, but that's how life is sometimes, but that does not mean he does not love you.
"Eat everything." he says, and you nod, picking up your fork. He takes your glass and pours some squeezed orange juice into it. He turns to a locked glass cabinet, and takes out a small bottle filled with a translucent liquid. He drops a few drops in the glass, and you watch him to it, your head cocked to the side. "What is that?" you ask, and he sighs.
"I told you before, it helps keep you a sweet little doll." you nod again, you seem to have heard that phrase once or twice before, even though Kun has had to remind you every morning for months now. But he doesn't mind, he likes to remind you that it is thanks to him that you are such a sweet doll. He kisses the top of your head, and you close your eyes at the contact.
"Am I your favorite doll?" you ask before stuffing a strawberry into your mouth. Kun sits down again, and he watches you for a second. "Of course. Of all the dolls I made, you are the one I love the most, you are my best creation."

Chapter one: finding the doll.
"Can I buy you a drink?"
You are surprised to hear a voice above the hubbub of music and conversations in the bar where you are. At first, you expect to find Taeyong grinning like an idiot, cheeks flushed from the alcohol he's been drinking ever since you arrived, but when you turn on your stool, you frown when you see a man you've never seen before. You tilt your head to the side.
"And why would I say yes?" you ask, and the man smile. He has two dimples that make him look a little more childhish, a thin layer of sweat sticks his hair to his forehead, but he is still handsome in the dimmed lights of the bar. The first two buttons of his shirt are open, and you can't help but glance at the sliver of skin. "The question is, why would you say no?"
You do not have an answer to that, so you nod and the man sits on the stool next to you. He calls out the bartender, and asks to put two glasses of whatever you were drinking. "My name is Kun." he says, turning to you, and he holds out his hand. Hand that you squeeze for a brief moment. "Y/n." he smiles once more. "Pleased to meet you."
"So what is a pretty girl like you doing in a place like this?" he asks, and you shrug, sliding your index finger across the rim of your glass. "This is my brother's bar." you explain, and you see the colors disappear from Kun's face, and when he is about to open his mouth, probably to apologize, you smile. "I'm just kidding. My best friend got dumped, so I'm here to support him as he drowns his grief in overpriced cocktails."
Kun's shoulders relax, grinning. "What about you?" he brings the glass to his lips to take a sip, and he winces at the sligh burn of the liquid in his throat. "Terrible day at work, I needed to relax." he explains in a low voice. "It's true that being in a crowded bar that smells like sweat and cheap alcohol is the best way to unwind from a day at work." you say, looking at him above your glass.
Kun chuckles softly as he puts his glass back on the bar, he rests his fingers beside it, and immediately regrets his decision when he feels how sticky the bar is. "It's always better than being alone at home." he says, and you agree, altough you are more the type to relax in bed with music rather than in a crowded and noisy bar. You would never have entered this place in your life if Taeyong had not begged you to come with him for over an hour earlier.
"Tell me about you, Kun." you ask, finishing your drink in one go, and you turn on your stool to face him. "I work in my best friend's law firm, I have a dog, and I love reading." he speaks in a bored manner, and you bite the bottom of your lip so as not to laugh. "I'm not the most interesting person here." you shrug, putting your hands flat on your thighs. "That's true, but there must be more than that, come on Kun, don't be shy."
Kun seems to think about it for a minute or so, yes he has more than that, but he can't really afford to tell you, not during your first meeting. His idea is to have a good time, and why not bring a girl back to his house, not to scare anyone and end up in prison that same evening. "I have an obsession with dolls."
This time around, you can't contain your laughter, and Kun is not offended, this is what he was expecting. "Dolls? Like barbies, or porcelain dolls?" you ask after catching your breath, you appreciate his presence, you do not want to see him go so soon, so you have to look and sound interested. "Porcelain dolls, but they are different, they all have stories."
"Stories? What do you mean?" you tilt your head, and Kun turns on his stool too. His knees bang against yours, and you glide your gaze down your legs for a brief moment. "These are not just porcelain dolls you would find in a store, they all come to my house with a clear story, and it is up to me to make sure they end their lives peacefully, and happily." that's fucking weird. "I don't know if you are being serious, or if you are making fun of me Kun, and you know what? I'm not sure I actually want to know."
You do not know how, but you went from an odd discussion about Kun's obsession with dolls, to this situation. Pressed against the door of Kun's room, you pant while feeling Kun's lips on your neck, his teeth digging into your skin, his tongue soothing the burn right away. Kun's hands are everywhere, under your top, along your still clothed thighs, you do not know where to focus.
"You are so hot, doll." Kun whispers hotly against your ear, and you bite your lower lip. "Is that why you brought me here?" Because I remind you of a doll?" Kun's gaze meets yours and he smirks. "Perhaps." you roll your eyes, and before you have a chance to open your mouth, Kun drops to his knees, ignoring the burn of the carpet, and when you give him permission to continue, he busy himself by removing your pants and panties. He slips one of your legs over his shoulder, and he covers your thighs with hot burning kisses and bites.
Kun does everything he can to avoid the area you want him the most, and you begin to whimper impatiently. He laughs as he licks his last bite to soothe the pain, and he looks up at you. You look like a work of art, with your head thrown back against the door, your eyes half-open and parted lips. "What do you want, doll?" he asks, and you sigh. "I don't know. Everything. Give me everything Kun, don't be an asshole."
"Everything?" Kun asks, and you nod with vigor. "Alright, your wish is my command, doll." he kisses your ankle, and he brings his lips up close to your core, and he blows gently. The cold air makes you shiver slightly, and you close your eyes, resting one hand in Kun's hair, and the other on the door for stability, because as he slides a finger in between your folds, your knees buckle.
"You are so wet doll, and all because of a few kisses? Cute." you pull his hair lightly, and he growls. "Stop talking please." you mumble, and Kun shrugs his shoulders but with your eyes closed, you can't see him. Neither do you see him approach his face and replace his finger with his tongue. "Oh." that's all you can say before he lays his tongue flat against your clit.
You are convinced that Kun will spend the next few minutes teasing you, but he does not. He licks your clit with vigor, and you can't help but roll your hips for more contact, and his free hands keep your from moving too much, which make you whimper loudly. His mouth is hot, insanely so. He pushes a single digit into you, making you mewls, not expecting him to do so. "Such a good girl." he says, moving his face away to watch you lose yourself to pleasure.
"More, more, please." you whisper, and Kun obliges. A second, then a third finger join the first, and you bite your lower lip to cover your moans that are getting loud, and embarrassing, but Kun doesn't seem to agree with you. "That's what we are not going to do. I want to hear you." he says in a firm voice, slapping your thigh. You almost lose your balance, but he stops you from falling by resting his hand on your waist. His grip is strong, and you know you'll have bruises of the shape of his fingers for days.
You already feel so close to your orgasm, you can feel it, you can taste it on your tongue. Kun keeps stimulating your clit with his thumb while pumping his fingers in and out of you, your muscle tightens around his fingers and he loves the feeling of your hot, wet walls, so much that he feels himself throb in the confined of his jeans, he can't wait to put his cock to good use inside of you.
When you feel heat spreading through your body, Kun's fingers pull back and you whine. You feel empty, and you do not like that feeling, not with how good Kun's fingers made you feel. "No, no, why, I was so close." you sob, and Kun smiles when he sees a single tear run down your cheek, it is so beautiful to see how fucked out you look with only his fingers. "You will cum. Later. On my cock, doll." fuck. "If you are nice, I'll make you cum twice, how does that sound?" you nod, that's all you can do right now.
Kun puts your leg back on the floor, and when you lower your head to look at him, he slides his fingers into his mouth to lick them clean of your juice, and you roll your eyes. "Kun." you are out of breath, and he straightens up before kissing you. He doesn't wait to get your permission before sticking his tongue into your mouth, and even though the kiss is sloppy, teeth clashing and salive gathering at the corner of your mouths, he puts his hands on your waist, to keep you upright because this simple kiss makes your legs feel like jelly, and he can feel it.
"Lie down on the bed." he orders, and you obey. You do not know how, but you get to the bed without tripping. Before lying down, you get rid of your last pieces of clothing before throwing them somewhere in the bedroom. You lie down, your head resting on Kun's pillows which smell of his perfume, and a mixture of sweat and soap, which is weirdly addicting, you think.
When you turn your head to look at him, you are disappointed to see that he is already undressed, but that's okay, you'll find another opportunity to touch his soft skin. He rummages in a drawer, and you see him walk up to the bed with a condom in hand, and without waiting, he climbs onto the bed to hover over you.
He places a quick kiss on your lips, and he begins to open the condom's packet, but you shake your head, resting your hands on his. "Let me do it." Kun nods, but he gasps when you push him to the other side of the bed to straddle his thighs. His cock is hard, the tip is red and leaking precum. You lean in, and run your tongue through the slit before swallowing the sticky liquid, all under Kun's hungry gaze.
"You drive me crazy." he groans, and you smile, perfect, you like that. You throw the condow packet on the floor, and before rolling it over his member, you lick the vein on the side from bottom to top, a groan snarling out of Kun's mouth. "Can I ride you?" you ask, while rolling the condom over his thick member. "Whatever makes you happy, doll."
You take his cock in your hand, and you nudge the tip over your entrance, you take a deep breath, and you ease the member gently. Kun's hands rest on your waist, and he gently helps you, and when finally you bottom out, he stays still. Yes, he wants to fuck you into oblivion, but he is also human, and he doesn't want to hurt you. At least not that way.
When you feel ready, you put your hands flat on Kun's chest and you roll your hips. "So tight, doll. You were made for me." Kun looks handsome from above, you think, looking at the way he bites his lower lip with every movements of your pelvis, the way his fingers tighten around your waist. But after a while, Kun starts to get impatient, and he plants his feet on the mattress to thrust harder into you.
"Oh fuck." you moan following the movement of his thrusts, but soon, you feel the burn in your thighs. You, who wanted to have a minimum of control, are already losing it as your legs fall asleep on either side of Kun's thighs. "Kun, Kun." you sob, your vision misted with tears once more. "Yes, doll, I'll take care of it." he pushes you onto the bed, and you wrap your legs around his waist when he enters you again.
He nestles his face in the crook of you neck, and he bites, hard. You close your eyes, a lewd sound coming out of your mouth and you throw your head back. Kun's thrusts are quick, strong, and deep, so much so that if you legs weren't secured around his waist, you would be pushed against the headboard. He is not holding back, and fuck you are grateful for it.
Kun sits up, and his hands grip the headboard to speed up his thrusting if that's even possible. His cock rocks against your sweet spot, and your orgasm crash over you without you even realizing it. You vision turns black, and you see stars for a moment as Kun growls when your walls tighten deliciously around his lenght. "Oh fuck, yes." he kisses you but fucked stupid like you are, you are unable to kiss back, all you can do is pant, and whimper at how sensitive you feel.
"One more?" he asks in a soft voice, which contrasts with the way he pounds into you. You are not sure you can do it, but you nod anyway, your body might hate you tomorrow, but it will be worth it. Despite everything, Kun opens his mouth. "What's your color?" he asks, and even though it takes a minute for you to figure out what he is asking, you speak out, in a broken voice. "Green, green, Kun." Great.
Kun doesn't know if he wants to cum, or if he wants to spend the rest of the night fucking you. It is so good, and at the same time, he wants to taste the sweet release he can feel creeping up slowly. He keeps thrusting, his knuckles turning white from the force with which he squeezes the headboard, and even his growls get louder. As for you, a flood of moans mixed with his name flows from your lips which he kisses, and bites hard enough that the skin breaks and a drop of blood flows before he licks it clean.
"Close, close." that's all you moan, and it's enough for Kun to understand. He nods, and one of his hands slides between your bodies to your clit, which he strokes with his thumb. You grab Kun's shoulders and dig your fingernails into the skin, and that's what seems to do, Kun cums in the condom. You feel it. You feel the hot cum against your walls even with the latex in between, and your legs start to shake with the intensity of your second orgasm.
Kun continues to thrust, slowly this time, riding his orgasm, but you are so sensitive that you shake your head. It is too much. "Stop, stop, please, I can't take it anymore." Kun obeys, and he stops his movements and he cages your face with his hands, being careful not to put his full weight on you. "It was perfect. You were perfect, doll." he whispers near your lips before kissing you for quite a while, and much more tenderly than before. And when he pulls out for air, he gets up from the bed to remove the condom and put it in the trash. You feel really empty, but ready to fall asleep.
When Kun returns to the bedroom with a damp cloth, he finds you asleep. You seem peaceful, so much that he doesn't want to wake you up and force you to go home, not that he wants you gone, so he doesn't. He puts on some sweatpants, and he lies down next to your after cleaning you briefly, and covering your naked body with a blanket, and he watches your for a moment before he too falls asleep, a smile on his face.

Chapter two: the morning after.
It is around 11am when you open your eyes. At first, you are lost. You do not recognize the sheets your are in, and you do not recognize the scent around you. The presence next to you is foreign, and it takes you two or three minutes to remembers. The bar with Taeyong. Your meeting with Kun. Kun! You spent the night with Kun, now you remember, and when you turn your head, you see a tuft of blonde hair coming out of the comforter.
Oh fuck, Taeyong!
You left the bar last night without telling him you were ditching him to go home with a complete stranger. You get out of bed slowly, ignoring the pain in your legs, and you find your pants neatly folded on what you supposed is Kun's desk, and you are definitely not the one who did that. Your top and lingerie are laid aside, and you wonder if all the one night stands are as kind and considerate as the sleeping man. But you doubt it. In your pants pocket you take out your phone, and you are surprised to see only two messages from Taeyong.
From Yong: I'm leaving with someone, don't wait for me. From Yong: Can you come get me? Pretty please?
The last message was sent less than twenty minutes ago, which means he must still be waiting for you, and probably with one hell of a hangover. You are glad you didn't drink more than two drinks last night. You put your clothes on, and before leaving the room, you find a piece of paper to write down your number, and a little note. "Call me." and you leave the room.
The problem is, you do not know where you are. You do not know which part of town he took you to, you were to busy cleaning Kun's tonsils with your tongue in the taxi to watch where they were driving you. All you know is that you are in a house, with marble stairs, and modern decor without a hint of dust around you. You go down the stairs, not daring to put your hand on the railing, and you wonder if Kun decided to illegaly enter a show house the night before.
Everything is clean, tidy. Everything is in the image of Kun, perfect. The front door is unlocked, which greatly simplifies the task of leaving like a thief. You dial Taeyong's number, and the boy answers immediately. "Where are you? I'm tired, I want to go to sleep." he says in a hoarse voice, and you look around. "I wish I knew, Yong." you walk down the street, at least until you find a street name. You are in a nice neightborhood, the kind you never go to, way too far from your comfort zone.
"What do you mean you don't know where you are?" Taeyong asks, and you roll your eyes. "I left the bar with a guy last night, and I don't know where I am!" you hear Taeyong giggle before growling, probably from his pounding headache. "Slut." you sigh, as you look around. You probably look suspicious. "You can talk, you did the same." you mumble, and you hear him say something to an unknown voice, so you take the opportunity to hang up to call a taxi, it's the only way for you to get home. Or at least to get to Taeyong, then you can figure it out together.

Chapter two and a half: Kun.
The following week, busy with work and with well, life, you stopped thinking about him, about Kun. You stopped thinking about the night you spent together, you stopped thinking about his hands, his lips, his scent, you just stopped. Work is mostly the cause, and also Taeyong who spends most of his time whinning about his ex partner, he is not recovering from his breakup, and it's tiring, really.
And when your phone rings, an unknown number appearing on your screen, you answer without a second thought. The perfect way to get you killed, Taeyong said once, but maybe one of your friends changed number and need something, you can't take the risk. But when you hear the voice, you do not recognize it. "Hello?" the silence is rather short. "Y/n, hello! How are you? Sorry I took so long to call, I was busy and didn't know if you actually wanted that." you frown, sitting on the sofa, the rerun of a show playing on the television. "I'm sorry, but who is it?"
"It's Kun?" the man says in an uncertain voice, and you remember. "Ah, Kun. Hi, I'm okay, and you, are you doing alright? Sorry for leaving last time, but my friend needed me." Kun makes a sound of aknowledgment before speaking. "Don't worry, I understand. I wanted to know if you wanted to meet?" you hesitate. You are not used of sleeping around with a man you met in a bar, so you are not sure if you really want to see him again. But also, why the hell not, you have the next week free of work, might as well make the most of it. "Yeah, why not."
"Do you remember the bar where we met? There's a café across the street, maybe we could meet up there later. Is around 3pm okay?" he asks, and you nod even though he can't see you. "Yeah that's fine with me. See you later." the man lets you know that he is excited to see you, and you hang up. You have a few more hours left, so you huddle once more in your blanket, and watch the television, wondering if going out is actually worth it.

Chapter three: How to make a doll: step one.
The meeting/date in the café is what changed your life.
You were not sure you wanted to see Kun, and yet, a month later, you are unable to part with him. There is something appealing about Kun, something highly addicting. He is kind, caring, smart and of course, he is breathtakingly beautiful with his dimples, soft eyes and honey-like voice.
The mere thought that one day he might not want you anymore is painful. You can't imagine your life without Kun, without his smile, without his kisses, without his hands that make you feel things that you've never felt before. And without his love, because Kun's love is amazing, it's like he has not limit to the love he gives, no matter what he receives in return.
When he tells you that he loves you, you feel like hearing it for the first time, every time. You have butterflies in your stomach when he looks at you, or when he talks about you like you are the eighth wonder of the world to his friends and colleagues. You are proud to be with Kun, because you know he could have had any girl, and yet, you are the one he decided to choose. The one he decided to love more than anything.
"Y/n? Come have a glass of water." you smile when you hear your name coming out of Kun's mouth, it's like hearing the most beautiful melody, the way it rolls on his tongue. And he is so attentive too, you think and you leave the living room to join him in the kitchen. He is sitting on a stool around the kitchen island, and he hands you a glass of water, which you take, smiling. "Thanks Kun." you say, and he smiles too, dimples in full display. "You are welcome, doll."
You take a sip of water, then a second, and you grimace. "What's wrong?" he asks, tilting his head. "I don't know, the water tastes weird." Kun shakes his head, and takes a sip of hiw own glass. "I don't feel it, it must be you. You stay too long without drinking, you forget the taste." when Kun says something, you take him at his word, so you shrug and finish your drink. "Sit down with me for a bit." he pats the stool next to him, and you settle down, your head immediately resting on the shoulder of your boyfriend who kisses your forehead.
You stay like that, in silence, for a few minutes before Kun opens his mouth. "How are you feeling?" he asks, and you frown. If he had not asked you the question, you certainly would not have realized the fatigue that suddenly fell on your body. Your eyelids are heavy, and you limbs feel numb, your mouth is dry, and movements around you seem to be slowing down. "I do not know." you whisper tiredly. "My poor little doll." Kun responds, without a hint of pity in his voice.

Chapter four: Bad doll?
This is not the only time the feeling of losing control of your body sets in. At first it's once a week, and now it's every morning, but you adjust pretty well to the side effects, and Kun is so nice to you when you feel bad, he takes care of you, he makes sure that you drink enough water, and that you eat enough food. He regularly returns from work at lunchtime to cook for you, and to remind you how wonderful you are, and how proud he is of you.
He gives you presents, but the one you prefer is the choker you never part with. You love the color, and the pendant reminds you that Kun is near you, even when he is not at home, and that's all you need. Time passes, and yet you do not realize it. You stopped responding to Taeyong, and even going to work. Kun said you did not have to go anymore, he may very well support the two of you with his job alone. No, you do not realize anything. You only see Kun, only hear Kun. Kun. Kun. Kun. Kun. His name echoes like a mantra in your head.
Today, going down the stairs, you are surprised to not hear the slightest noise. When Kun is at home, he enjoys playing music on his turntable. He says that even though the sound is not as crisps there, it is much better, he can appreciate the music more, but now you can't hear anything. Not even the sound of his computer keyboard where he spends most of his time when he is not at the office.
"Kun?" you ask, poking your head through the living room door, which is empty and as clean as usual, if not a little cleaner. You walk into the kitchen, and you pout when you notice that he is not there either, but a note is stuck on the fridge door.
"My doll, my beautiful doll. I'm sorry, but I had to leave for work. I know I promised to take you to the movies, but a case we are working on must be finished today, the trial having been brought forward. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to cook for you, and I'm so sorry. You can cook for yourself, but please be careful with the knives. Remember to drink at least 5 glasses of water today. I have my phone if you need anything. I love you. Kun."
You silently read Kun's words and nod. It's a shame, you were excited to go to the movies. You really haven't been out of the house since moving in with Kun. At least you think you moved here. Kun bought you enough clothes to fill a full closet, and your mind is far too cloudy to think about the clothes you already own, and the apartment you were renting back then.
You do not know if it's because Kun is not here, or because you are too lazy to cook, but you are not hungry. You come out of the kitchen, and once in the lobby of the house, you look around. You do not know what you are supposed to do. Even though Kun leaves you alone to go to work pretty much every day, he still advises you to do certain acitivites, or you usually feel far too tired to do anything.
But today, you feel good. Still a bit groggy, but much better than usual.
A name suddenly comes to your mind, for the first time in months, and you frown. Your heart does a weird thing when you think of this person. Not the same as when you think of Kun, but differently. A certain warmth spreads through your body, and you realize that you actually miss this person. Taeyong. You know you were used to spend a lot of time together, and that you even decided to save your money to find a big apartment to live in together.
He forgot about me, you think.
But you do not realize that you forgot about him, not the opposite. But you are too lost in your own head to realize it. You walk up the stairs, being careful not to put your fingers on the white wall or the railing, and push the door to the room you share with Kun. The decor has changed since the first time you came here. Several pictures of you, and you and Kun together are on the walls, and your favorite color can be found in small touches on the satin sheets, on the curtains, and a few trinkets here and there.
You find your phone in the bedside table drawer, and when you try to turn it on, nothing happens. After so long, the battery must be dead. Finding a charger is not difficult, you just have to walk around the bed to Kun's place. You take it, and you return to the living room. For some reason, you do not like being in the room on your own, you feel like you are being watched, it makes you uncomfortable.
Once in the living room, you plug in the phone, and while waiting for it to turn on, you turn on the television. A serie is playing, and even though you do not understand it, you watch, your head resting on a pillow, and soon, you find yourself wrapped in your favorite blanket, ready to fall asleep. So much for feeling full of energy.
When you open your eyes, you are hardly surprised to see the living room bathed in darkness. It often happens to you, to close your eyes before realizing that night has already fallen. It takes a moment before your eyes get used to the darkness that is only broken by a lit bedsite lamp next to Kun. Kun who is seated on an armchair, his arms crossed against his toned chest. You sit up, smiling. "You are back."
Normally, Kun would smile. He would get up to give you a long, tender hug and ask you how your day was. But today, he doesn't. He looks tired, stressed and disappointed. It is indeed an emotion you have never seen on his beautiful face, disappointment. "What's wrong?" you ask as you sit on the couch, legs crossed, your blanket falling from your shoulders, revealing the same pajamas you wore last night.
You look down, and notice that your phone is in Kun's hand, and tild your head. "Why?" he asks, pointing to the phone. "Why what?" He gets up, and he sits down next to you. You are not afraid, you know Kun will never hurt you, but you also do not know what to expect. You have never seen him angry except at one of his colleagues on the phone, and each time he makes sure to leave the room so that you do not see, or hear anything.
"Am I not enough?" he asks in a voice so weak that you wonder if you heard correctly. "Why do you ask me this?" he sighs and puts the phone down on the coffee table, it's on this time, and you can see the many notifications when the screen lights up. That can't be good, you think, but you do not even think about reaching for the phone, since Kun turns your head to face him by gripping your chin between two fingers.
You frown, your mouth opening slightly at his sudden move. "You haven't touched your phone since you've been here, and today you decided to do it, because you knew I wasn't coming back, why?" he asks in a firm voice, and you avoid his gaze, which doesn't seem to please him. "Good dolls look at me when I talk to them." he says with clenched teeth, and you shake your head. "I- I'm not a doll."
Kun scoffs, rolling his eyes. "Of course not. You are not, you are right. You don't deserve to be one of my dolls." this sudden realization makes you open your eyes wide, shaking your head. "What? Of course I deserve it!" when he shakes his head, your eyes fill with tears and he refrains from stroking your cheeks to calm you down. "No. A doll doesn't look to see someone else when I'm not around." it's crazy how fast a few words made you change your mind about being a doll.
You manage to extricate yourself from his grip, and you climb onto his lap, wrapping your arms around his neck. Kun is surprised at your sudden behavior, and even though he knows he cannot give in, stay firm, he does nothing to stop it. But he doesn't touch you either, even though his hands only want one thing: to rest on your waist. "You are wrong, Kun, I didn't want to see anyone. I just wanted to watch, and I didn't even do it, I fell asleep before it turned on." you speak in a quick manner. "Hey, breathe." he says, and you take a deep breath.
Kun looks at his watch, and he makes a noise of surprise or aknowlegdment, you don't really know. "Did you drink any water today?" he asks, and you are surprised at the sudden change of tone in Kun's voice. "No, I was sleeping." now, he understands. "That's why you decided to act like this! You silly goose, you know you need to drink." you pout when Kun puts you down on the couch, because you already miss Kun's warm touch and scent. "I'll be right back."
A minute or two later, Kun returns with a glass of water in his hand, and he hands it to you. "Drink it all." you nod and take the glass to drink the content. Over time, you started to ignore the weird aftertaste that burns your throat a bit when Kun give you something to drink. He settles down next to you again to pull you onto his lap without waiting, except this time, he wraps his arms around your waist to press your chest against his. "You can't disobey me anymore, okay?" you nod.
"Yes, I will not do it again, I promise." he puts his hand on the back of your head, and he pulls you in for a languid kiss. But before you can initiate anything, he breaks the kiss. "I'm so sorry, I just want to be a good doll." you whisper close to his ear, and he smiles weakly. "I know that my love, and you are, it's just that sometimes you get distracted. But that won't happen again, I'll make sure of it myself."

Chapter five: Taeyong.
For the following weeks, Kun makes sure not to leave you alone for too long. And the more time passes, the less able you feel to regain full control over your body. Kun does everything for you, he doesn't let you lift a finger, if only to clear your plate. If your thought were yours, you would wonder when he plans on spoon feed you himself, but they haven't belonged to you for a long time.
Sometimes you have moments of lucidity. Your eyes clear, and your memories come back, the times you spent with Taeyong, the life you had before meeting Kun, and during those brief moments, you wonder if you'll ever get back to those times you genuinely took for granted. You began to write in a notebook what you remember in these moments, and the time when it happens. And every time, it is before breakfast, when you get out of bed.
Like all plans, Kun's isn't foolproof, luckily you manage to keep it to yourself. You refuse to think about what would happen if he ever found out that sometimes you become yourself, Y/n, and not Kun's doll. Even in these times, you are not afraid of Kun, because you know he'll never hurt you, at least not physically, he is way too sweet, and too in love to do it. Because yes, despite the mental ordeal he makes you live on a daily basis, he loves you, you know it.
Maybe you should stop forcing yourself to remember your old life, and come to terms with what you have become. Maybe you'll get used to it, and start to appreciate what is offered to you, you think, looking at yourself in the bathroom mirror, the only place you can have a little bit of privacy. You rub cold water on your face, because you know that in a few minutes, when Kun gives you your drink, you will not be yourself. And when you turn to take the towel, you hear a little noise coming from the bedroom.
You frown, it is not Kun, you can hear the noises coming from the kitchen. So you come out of the bathroom, and you follow the noise that continues, to Kun's bedsite table which you open, and what a surprise when you find your phone. It's on, and Taeyon's photo appears on the screen. You take it, and with a trembling hand, you answer.
"Hello?" you ask, and the noise you hear coming from Taeyong is barely describable. It's a mix of surprise and relief. "Oh my god, Y/n! Do you have any idea how scared I've been for months?" you bite your lower lip. "I'm sorry." you answer, and he growls from the other side. You can't imagine what he felt. "Where are you? Are you okay? Are you safe?"
When you are about to answer, you hear footsteps coming towards the bedroom door. "I have to go." and you hang up before shoving the phone in the drawer before closing it. And when the door opens, you turn to him, smiling. "Is everything okay?" Kun asks, and you walk up to him, nodding your head. "Perfectly fine, I was ready to come down." you put your hands on his chest, and you kiss Kun softly.
Kun answers to the kiss, one of his hands fiddling with the pendant of your necklace. He doesn't express it very often, but he is extremely proud to see you wearing it every day. It shows that you belong to him, even if you do not need it, you prove it to him every day. "Come eat." he says against your lips, and you take his hand to exit the room.
Once in the kitchen, you drink the glass of juice offered to you, and the effects come much faster now. And when you are finally in Kun doll's mindset, you feel stupid for answering Taeyong, so much so that you feel ready to confess everything to him, and ask him to throw the phone away for you to no longer be tempted, but you do not. "I love you Kun." you say, which surprises the man who smiles with a sweetness that warms your heart. "I love you too, doll, more than anything in the world."

Chapter six: Yes, bad doll.
Kun has to go to work.
To do that, he made sure to give you a double dose last night, to make sure he wouldn't have to deal with another scene like last time. He trusts you, but you can never be too careful, he thinks, looking at you. You are sleeping peacefully, and you are so beautiful, he wonders what he has done to have a person like you in his life. You are the most beautiful doll, his best creation. However, when he met you, it was not a won situation. But you proved to him that you were capable of changing, and he would give his life for you.
He places a kiss on your forehead, and he pulls back when you stire in your sleep. For a second, he thinks he woke you up, but no, you turn, your breathing still deep. His little angel. He gets out of the room, takes his satchel, and leaves the house.
When you open your eyes, it is not because of the sun coming through the curtains, but because of the knocking on the door. You whine, and wonder when the noises will stop, but they don't. Kun must not have heard it, or he is not home. So reluctantly, you get out of bed. You have to hold on to the wall to walk, to avoid tripping. You feel feverish, and so so tired.
When, at least, you arrive at the bottom of the stairs, you approach the door. Everything is silent, and you regret having moved, but as your turn on your heels, the knocking on the door resumes. You open it, and you frown when your eyes fall on a man. He is not very tall, his hair is pink and washed out. He looks like he has not slept in weeks, and when his eyes fall on you, you wonder if he is going to cry.
"Y/n!" he throws himself on you to hug you to his chest. You know if Kun witnessed the scene, you would be in trouble, and yet, you stay in the man's arms. The warmth that he gives off, his perfume, his simple way of being are not unknown to you. "Taeyong." you breath, and the boy pulls back, his hands still resting on your shoulders. "I hope you have some explanations for me, young lady. I've been looking for you for months!"
"How did you find me?" you ask, cocking your head. He is truly struggling to recognize you. Your eyes are glassy, and he can no longer see the happiness and mischief he used to read in your eyes back in the days. "Thanks to your phone. I just wanted to make sure you were safe." you nod, hugging your body with your arms. "Of course I'm safe. Kun takes good care of me, and he loves me very much. I love him too."
Taeyong frowns, he feels liks he is listening to a robot, or a pre-recorded message. It is no longer his best friend that he has in front of him, but someone else, and he does not know how to explain what exactly has changed so much, or what could have happened. He even wonder if you weren't brainwashed, joined a cult, or had a frontal lobotomy. He knows it's stupid, but he is stupid, and those are the only thought that come to him. He is far from reality.
"Can I come in?" Taeyong asks, trying to see the inside of the house over your shoulder, and you bite your lip. You are not sure Kun would enjoy seeing a stranger in his own home, but he is not here right now, and a good doll must also be a kind and welcoming host, so you shrug. "Yes, of course." you push yourself out of the door to let Taeyong in, he wolf-whistles when he sees the inside, and how clean and shiny everything is. "Wow.
You head for the kitchen. "You can sit if you want. Do you want something to drink?" you ask, but he shakes his head. "No thanks." he sits down on a stool around the kitchen island, and you sit across from him, your hands resting on the cold surface of the counter. "So? Tell me everything that happened." yes, you suspected he would ask you the question. "I met Kun in the bar where we were that night. And I don't know, things happened naturally after we saw each other again. I think moving here was the next logical step, it just happened."
"But that doesn't explain why you stopped responding to my messages, and giving signs of life." Taeyong's voice is painful, even for you. You sigh, playing with a thread on your pyjama sleeve. "I don't know, Taeyong." it's the truth, you do not even know why you stopped caring about your phone, you who spent most of your time on it. "But I'm sorry." are you really? Not really.
You spend the next two hours talking. Well, Taeyong talks about things that have happened over the past few months, and you listen. You try to smile, nod at the right time, and be happy to be with him again, but you can't stop thinking about Kun, and what he is going to think when he finds out he's been here today. Not that he is preventing you from having contact with the outside world, but seeing how he reacted when you wanted to use your phone, you suspect that he is not going to be very happy.
"...and Ten started screaming." Taeyong says, and you open your mouth to laugh, but instead, your mouth opens in a silent cry as Taeyong's face makes contact with the kitchen island in a violent manner. So violent that he loses consciousness almost immediately. Behind him, you see Kun, and what you read in his eyes is nothing but pure rage. Your breathing is plowed, and you get up from your chair.
"Why would you do that?" you ask in a panicked voice, and he shakes his head, clicking his tongue. "You should thank me." he says as he approaches Taeyong. He grabs his hair to lift his head, and you gag when you see the amount of blood on his face. "But he didn't do anything!" you defend, and he laughs coldly, so much so that an unpleasant shiver runs down your spine.
He lets Taeyong's head fall back, and he looks at you. It's not longer disappointment he is showing, but something more intense. He is scary, and yet he smiles at you. "You know, I really thought you were different. When I met you, I finally thought I had found it, the perfect doll. I loved you so much, and I would have given you everything, even my life, and yet you decided to betray me." you shake your head as you join Kun.
"I didn't betray you Kun. He came on his own, I didn't contact him. I didn't tell him anything, we didn't do anything either." you say, cupping Kun's face, but he takes a step back to avoid the contact almost immediately, and ouch, that hurts. "I love you Kun, I love you so much." you continue in a whisper, and he shakes his head.
"If you really loved me, you wouldn't have let him in. You would have told him to go, and you would have moved on with your day. But no, you decided to be a little slut." A little slut? You would never dare to do such thing. You love Kun, and only Kun. No matter what he puts you through every day trying to make you the perfect doll, you have never loved anyone as much as you love Kun.
"I'm not a slut, Kun. I'm your little doll." you say in a low voice, not daring to look Kun in the eyes anymore. You feel him approaching you, and you refrain from taking a step back. "Are you sure of that? Are you my perfect doll?" he asks, and you nod. "And what would my perfect doll do for me?" you lift your head, and run the tip of your tongue over your dry lips. "Anything Kun. I would do anything for you."
"Very well." that's all he says before heading to the locked cabinet. The one in which he takes the small bottle of transparent liquid every morning. The bottle is full, and you wonder how get manages to get so many. You follow his every move with your eyes, and you frown when you see him emptying the entire bottle into a glass. And he pours a small amount of fruit juice into the glass before mixing everything.
He hands you the glass, and he says. "Drink."
You shake your head with vigor, you do not intend to drink the content of this glass. Only god knows what could happen to you. "You said you would do anything for me, and I want you to drink." he walks up to you, and every time he takes a step forward, you take a step back. At least until your back makes contact with the kitchen wall. You are stuck, you know it, Kun is too fast, if you try to escape, he will catch up with you in an instant.
"You said you were a perfect little doll. And you know very well that dolls listen and obey when I ask them something." his voice is much softer now, and you get lost in his big dark eyes. So much love are in his eyes, so he might not be able to hurt you, right? He is just playing with you to see your reaction, to see what you are ready to do for him, right? Taeyong growls behind Kun, but he doesn't pay him the slightest attention. "So?"
"I'm going to drink, because I love you Kun, and I want you to know that I am your perfect doll. Your best creation." you say in a whisper as you take the glass, and Kun looks satisfied. You pursue your lips, and it takes a minute for you to muster the courage to open your mouth and drink the content of the glass. The taste is horrible, and the burning sensation in your throat makes you cough hardly. You drop the glass which shatters to the ground. Kun hasn't moved, unlike you, he is too busy looking at you. He knows what is going to happen, and for many reasons, and he doesn't want to miss a thing.
"You know, Y/n, I've had a lot of dolls before you. They were different from each other, and each time I thought I had found the right one, but each time, I was wrong. They always found a way to lie to me, and betray my trust. But when I saw you, when I saw the effort you were willing to make to please me, I really believed you would be the last." he cannot hide his disappointment, and his disgust.
"I loved all of my dolls, trust me, but you... I never felt something so strong for any of them. You were the exception. The one and only." you are having a hard time keeping your eyes open, and slowly, you slide along the wall. Not only do your legs seem to weight a ton, you feel like your heart is doing things it shouldn't be doing. It beats too fast, and too slowly at the same time.
You have chills, and a cold sweat covers your forehead, and rolls down your spine. Soon, your lungs are racing, and it becomes more and more difficult for you to breathe. Kun crouches down in front of you, his fingers sliding down your wet cheeks from the tears you didn't know were rolling. "You are lucky, because your life will end in a much more peaceful way than theirs."
"I could have let them go. I could have helped them get rid of the drugs in their bodies, and let them go back to a normal life, but I couldn't afford to risk being reported to the police, or to see them with someone else, I hope you understand." he turns to looks at Taeyong who gradually regains consciousness. "And unfortunately, your little friend won't have an ending as sweet as yours. It'll teach him to not stick his nose where it does not belong."
Kun talks, but it's just gibberish to you, you can't concentrate. You can't. All you can do is put your hand down to your chest, it's so painful, everything burns. You are hot, and cold. A broken sob escapes your lips, and Kun places a kiss on your lips. "I will never love any of my next dolls as much as I loved you, I promise." he whispers against your lips. "I don't think I can love anyone after you. You were all I ever dreamed of."
You vision gradually fades. You see nothing, except the contours of Kun's body. You do not feel anything either. You do not know how long you've been on the ground, but you are not in pain anymore. You are at peace, you think, as you take your last breath.
A single tear rolls down Kun's cheek when he sees you take your last breath. His heart breaks, but he gets up. Kun could have forgiven you, of course, he dreams of nothing other than spending the rest of his life with you, but he hates being betrayed. No matter how intense his love for you was over the past few months, he refuses to be used. Trust is what matters most to him, and he knows the next few months will be horrible, it will take time for him to recover from your death, your "accidental" overdose, but he will. And he'll try again.
One more name to add to his list of failure.
But first, he has to take care of Taeyong. He can't have a witness in his house, or maybe he can use him. He is a handsome boy, he could be useful in his search for the perfect doll.

No Devil Fruit AU, where Law is part of a dangerous syndicate. He's feared by almost everyone. Except his fiance, Luffy. Not many have seen this mysterious boyfriend of the all powerful crime boss, Law, but those who have know that it's Luffy who should be feared.
Little snippet for inspiration! Might be a lil gross, so don't read if you're squeamish.
It had been a tedious night. Law pours himself another glass of bourbon as Penguin recounts the screams their ex-colleagues let out.
"Man! Next time I want to go in too!" Shachi laments.
Law sighs, "If Bepo had stayed home then you could've. But I asked you to watch him. You know how his fur gets nasty in humid areas."
Bepo, Law's five year old Great Pyrenees, whines at their feet.
"But you sure did miss a lot! Boss renoved their hearts one by one. I think the last one died before he even started from all the shock," Penguin is giddy in his seat.
"Make sure to send those out tomorrow," Law reminds him.
"Yes boss!" they both answer. The bag containing the hearts are in the passenger seat next to his driver.
"Almost home. Are we getting the young sir his order of food?" Jean Bart, ever the lifesaver, asks.
His sweetheart would love that, but he's not getting shit if he's acting this way.
His mood worsening by the minute. He's called Luffy five times already and the teen hasn't answered. Did he forget an anniversary? Birthday? No way. If anything it would be his beloved who would forget something, so why are his calls being ignored.
In the end he gives in, "Yes. Just go ahead and get him the usual."
"And mine!" Penguin states.
"Me too!" Shachi cheers.
Jean Bart grunts, "You can both get off and get your own shit."
Soon, his phone is ringing. Not his personal phone. His work phone.
"Speak," Law grumbles. Seriously, they just parted ways not too long ago. What in the world could've been so important that they needed to call him.
"Boss! Oh thank god I reached you, we just got to the house and the gates are run over!" Ikkaku gives him a brief statement of the mess his mansion is in.
Law calms down, 'Ahhh, no wonder his baby didn't answer him. He's having fun too,' he smiles to himself.
"-and we're pretty sure mister Luffy is still inside! It's Bellamy's gang and himself here! So far we've taken care of the stragglers outside. What do you want us to do?"
Law smirks, "Lock up any escape there is."
"This is Bellamy sir, are you sure you want that?" Ikkaku sounds worried.
"Lock it up, make sure whoever is inside the mansion STAYS inside with my sweetheart. We'll still be a while, I know Luffy will be starving." Law hangs up the phone and relaxes.
He should've known Luffy had a reason not to answer him. Of course he should think about getting him an extra portion...he's going to be so so hungry.
When Law's car finally gets to the mansion, Jean Bart opens up his door. Bepo is the first to run out. Next is Law in his midnight blue suit ruined with dark red splotches from earlier activities.
Jean Bart closes the door in Shachi's face. They can open it themselves, he smiles as he turns back to the task at hand which meant carefully taking the bag of once beating hearts.
His subordinates are all gathered in the driveway, a few bodies next to them. It's a good thing he's in the good graces of his neighbors. No one here is going to mention any of this to those pesky cops. Lest they also want to be removed.
"Alright, listen up I want this place spotless by the next morning. Someone call up Franky to get me a new gate."
Penguin and Shachi both carry those take out boxes from the car, almost dropping them when they hear a blood curling scream from the direction of the house. They both grin.
"Why, I almost feel bad for those poor motherfuckers," Penguin continues to snicker.
Bepo immediately runs to the doors, growling to be let in. Law calmly walks behind him.
Ikkaku comes with them too, "We did as you asked boss. A few of the gang members were thrown out of windows on the third floor. It's been cleaned up out here."
"Good, I want to see the mess my beloved has made," chuckles Law.
Ikkaku unlocks the main house entrance and removes the blockage.
Upon entering the mansion, he can feel the tell-tell sign of an incoming headache. There's blood smeared on those once pristine pearl white walls, broken glass, broken furniture, and a few people groaning in pain. All from what he can assume are Bellamy's men.
A snap of his fingers and Shachi has already put a bullet in their heads. Not as quick as he would usually, seeing as he had precious food in his other hand.
"Get someone to start cleaning here. After dinner of course." Law walks up the stairs then, only Bepo leading the way. Everyone else went to start eating. They've dined in worse places, they'll be fine.
The stairs are no better than the entrance to the house. There's blood on the rails, ripped hair strands, and broken glass. He swears he saw a finger on one of the steps. Thank heavens Bepo didn't eat it.
Another pained scream is heard and then the crackling sound stops everything altogether.
Law enters his bedroom to find a sniffling Luffy. Their room in complete chaos. One of the posts to their bed is completely cracked. The TV is in ruins and the mini fridge is making a concerning sound.
"Come here baby, what's wrong?" he worries something must've gone terribly wrong. Luffy hardly cries over something like a fight. Especially one where he just singlehandedly slaughtered more than a fifty people, including their leader.
Covered in blood, Luffy walks toward Law, holding something carefully in his arms.
"He broke it," he sniffles. "Please don't be mad."
In his hands is the first picture they took on their first anniversary. Of course it was only the frame that was shattered.
"Lu-ya, it's alright. I'll get another for our room," he gently cradles the teen's face in his hands.
Luffy smiles, practically beaming, "OKAY! Did you get dinner! I'm starving Torao!!" Just like that he's back to his normal state. He's skipping around, joyful and playful as ever.
"You know I did, couldn't leave my sunshine without his favorite take out," he brushes hair out of Luffy's face ojce he's gotten him to stop his movements. But he's still covered in blood, that's more than likely not his.
"Did you see how many I took out!? I took care of the house too!" Luffy laughs, so carelessly, innocent eyes looking up at his fiance.
"Lu-ya, all I ask is that next time you make sure you move the fight out of our bedroom," he stares at Bellamy on his bedroom floor. Bepo still growling at the dead man.
"I couldn't help it! It was a surprise attack!" he pouts.
And everyone knows that the big, bad boss can't resist a cute face. It's only a matter of time before his other enemies realize that too. But for their sake, they should also realize that Luffy isn't just a cute face for Law. No. Luffy is just as terrifying, if not more, than his psychopath boyfriend. What can you do though? I guess their enemies will just have to find out the hard way.

New York State of Mind (Part 2)
I had planned to have this posted earlier but here I am, right before the end of our Peanut’s birthday. Whoops. Here is Part 1 if you haven’t read it yet.
These OCs and their world belong to @lumosinlove.
cw: mentions of food
_________________________________
It took the three of them around 30 minutes to finish getting ready with only minimal interruptions, which honestly wasn’t bad. Sometimes they could take an additional hour if they were distracted enough. But once Finn was reminded of the plans, he was not going to get off track.
Finn knew people didn’t think he was good at presents. They honestly weren’t wrong, he was really bad at buying gifts. He never knew what to buy. But experiences. That he could do. He liked planning things that he thought the people he cared about enjoyed. And his boys. He knew his boys better than anyone. So when it got close to Leo’s birthday, him and Logan sat down and began planning. While Leo was easy to please, and would’ve probably been happy just having dinner at their house, this was 20th birthday. It had to be perfect. And it honestly had been so far.
He watched as his boys pulled on their jackets, tucking wallets and phones into pockets, “Don’t forget gloves. And a hat. Not a snapback, Lo. An actual keep your ears warm hat. We’re walking and I’m not gonna give you mine when you get cold.” Finn announced, pulling his own hat down over his hair. He also made sure to grab a small backpack, just in case they purchased anything while out and that way it was all easier to carry.
“How far we walking, Harz?” Leo asked as he pulled his gloves out of his suitcase, tucking them into his pocket as he followed the other two out of their room to the elevator.
Finn hummed, glancing up from his phone, “Ah, less than three miles. But we’re going to make some touristy stops on the way to the final destination.”
Raising an eyebrow, Leo glanced over at Finn, “Final destination? Sounds sorta ominous, mon rouge.” He said as they made their way out. A wall of cold air hit them as soon as they walked out of the hotel.
Finn began leading the way to 7th Ave, tucking his phone back into his pocket. This was his city, he knew where he was going.
Him and Logan had taken turns planning days during the trip, and today was his day. It was probably his favorite one that he planned. He even kept most of it a secret from Logan.
As they walked down the sidewalk, Leo’s head was constantly on a swivel as he took in the huge busy city. He had been to New York for games, but he never really got to look around or do any of the fun touristy stuff that everyone talks about.
“I know where we’re going.” Logan shouted as he looked around, recognizing the area from when Finn had shown him around. “We’re go-”
A swift elbow to the ribs cut him off as Finn gave him a look, “Don’t tell him!” He interrupted, hooking his arm through Logan’s as they kept walking.
Letting out a chuckle, Leo looked up ahead to see tons of lights and people. His eyebrows furrowed before his eyes lit up with recognition, “That’s Times Square, isn’t it?” He asked, bouncing excitedly on his toes as he picked up the pace a bit.
Finn grinned, dragging Logan along as they tried to keep up with the giant speedwalker, “You got it, baby. We’re gonna do a longer stop here later in the week to look around and shop and such but I figured you’ve gotta get your tourist in Times Square photo to start out with.”
As they finally got into the square, Leo couldn’t help himself as he stopped right in the middle, spinning a bit to try and get a look at everything. He’s seen it in movies and pictures, but those could never do it justice. “This is insane! There’s just so many people.”
Finn took a couple pictures as Leo looked around, a grin spreading across his face, “Peanut, this way. I’ve got the perfect place to take a picture.” He insisted before he began leading the way.
“The top of these stairs is the perfect spot. You can get like all of downtown in the background.” Finn explained excitedly as he led Logan and Leo up to the top. The two boys shared a look as they followed him up, a warm smile on both of their faces as they listened to him talk. “So first we’ll do Leo by himself for his birthday, and then we’ll ask someone to take one of the three of us, okay?”
Leo smiled, making his way up carefully, “Sounds good, sweetheart. This a good spot? Can you get everything in?” He asked, as he leaned on the railing. Finn leaned back with Logan standing behind him to make sure he didn’t fall.
“That’s great, Nutter Butter. Now gimme a big smile!” Finn said, unable to hide the giant grin behind his phone as Leo smiled. He loved that smile. It took over Leo’s face, lighting up whatever area he was in. You couldn’t help but smile right back at him.
Him and Logan both quickly looked at the pictures, smiling as they scrolled through to make sure they came out okay, “Perfect, Sunshine.” Finn said with a soft smile as he looked up at his boyfriend.
As he showed Leo the pictures, Logan found a lady to take the pictures for them. She followed him up the steps with a grin, “Alright, who’s phone should I take it on?” She asked.
Finn quickly switched over to the camera app and handed it over, “Mine please. Thanks so much.” The three of them moved to the top again with Leo in the middle as she situated herself to get the best picture.
“Alright, boys, smile!” She said with a grin. Logan couldn’t have picked a better person, as she seemed to take a bunch for them, moving to get better angles and everything. When she handed the phone back to Finn, there were at least 20 photos taken.
Finn scrolled through them, setting his favorite one as his background before looking back at her, “These are perfect, thank you so much.”
She shrugged with a smile, “It’s no problem at all. Hope you guys have a good rest of your day.” They watched as she headed back to her group.
“Can you send me all of those please?” Leo said, resting his chin on top of Finn’s head as he looked at the cute shots of them. Finn had already created an album on his phone just for pictures from this trip, so he added Logan and Leo in so they would have access.
Looking at his boyfriends, Finn smiled happily, “Y’know, we’re pretty fucking adorable.” He said, holding up his phone background.
Logan shook his head with a laugh before pressing a kiss to Finn’s cheek, “Well yeah, mon rouge. I could’ve told you that.” He said with a smile. It was still weird to be able to kiss or touch in public without worry. They had only come out a month or two ago, so there was still that brief moment of panic of ‘Oh no, did anyone see?’ before realizing that it didn’t matter if they could. It was nice.
“Alright, let’s keep moving. If you see anywhere you want to stop today, we can. We’re actually a bit ahead of schedule.” Finn said as he glanced at his watch. They made their way down the stairs and continued heading down the street.
They hadn’t even made it two blocks down 7th Ave when Logan let out a gasp, his eyes wide as he clutched at Leo’s hand. The taller boy followed his gaze before letting out a laugh. On one side of the street was Hershey’s Chocolate World. The other had M&M’s World.
“Guessing you wanna make a stop, Lo?” Leo asked, squeezing his hand.
Logan looked over at Finn, puppy eyes in full effect, “Pleeeeease, baby. You know how much I love chocolate and it’s Hershey and M&Ms, I promise I won’t be too long! Please please please!” He begged, his hands coming up to squeeze Finn’s cheeks.
Letting out a laugh, Finn nodded, “Of course, Lo. But what if we just do one today? We’ll be coming back this week and that way you don’t have to rush through both of them?”
“Yes! Hershey’s it is! Let’s go!” Logan cheered, quickly making his way to the shop. Leo and Finn quickly walked after him, following his red hat as he ran through the doors. When they got inside, he had stopped in the doorway, eyes practically the size of saucers. The store was covered in different types of Hershey’s chocolate, as well as things like caramel apples covered in Hershey’s chocolate.
Finn chuckled softly as he watched Logan’s face, quickly snapping a couple of photos of the awe on his face. Fingers intertwined with his as Leo came up next to him, snapping a couple pictures of his own, “I’m gonna send a picture to Loops. He’s going to be so jealous.”
“Lo, you okay? I think this might be the quietest I’ve heard you.” Finn asked, nudging his other boyfriend with his hip.
Logan turned to him, eyes still wide, “I think this is heaven.” He whispered.
The two boys couldn’t hide the giant smiles that formed as they watched the shorter man start to wander the store. After the fourth bag of candy was handed to them, they finally relented and grabbed Logan a cart.
“Lo. Babe. Love of our lives. My backpack is only so big. Where do you think we’re going to put all this chocolate?” Finn asked as he leaned on the cart.
Logan shrugged, putting an XL KitKat bar into the cart, “It’s alright, Harz. The nice Hershey’s lady told me I could leave it here and pick it up later.”
Throwing his hands in air, Finn let out a laugh, “Of course she did. Is she gonna let us use the cart to carry it to the hotel?” He shared a fond look with Leo over the cart. In all honesty, he would carry all of the chocolate in the world on his back if it kept that smile on Logan’s face.
After around 30 minutes in the store, Logan had fully filled their cart as well as got on first-name basis with the ‘Nice Hershey’s lady’ who’s actual name was Liz. Now he was finally finished. They left his treasure of treats in the capable hands of Liz before heading back out to the road.
“Alright, now we’re heading to the surprise. It’s about 30 minutes, but it’s a nice walk. We go past part of the park.” Finn said, fixing his hat over his hair again.
They started their trek, stopping every once and awhile to take pictures at various spots like Strawberry Fields and The Dakota. Then they finally arrived, Finn stopping abruptly in front of a cool looking building. He was practically bouncing in place.
“We’re here!” He said, gesturing to the building.
Leo looked up, reading the name across the side of the building, “Rose Center for Earth and Space.” His eyes widened as he turned to look at Finn.
“C’mon then, it’s almost time for our turn.” Finn said with a smile, opening the door for them.
As they walked in, smaller versions of the planets were above their heads. Finn walked up the front desk, talking quietly with the man at the desk who smiled. He looked back at Leo and Logan, “You guys ready?”
Leo was clutching Logan’s hand as he looked around before nodding, “I mean it’s hard to be ready when I have no clue what’s about to happen, but let’s go.”
The man behind the front desk led them to a dark room that had a theater set-up, “Welcome to the Hayden Planetarium. You guys can sit wherever you’d like.”
“Where’s everyone else?” Leo asked as they sat near the middle, staring up at the huge screen.
Smiling, the man shook his head, “This is everyone. You have it to yourselves. Enjoy.” He said before walking out.
“Mon dieu..” Logan said, eyes wide as he looked around.
Finn fiddled with his shirt as he watched their faces, “They were advertising their newest show on the hotel website.. This one is called Journey to the Stars.” He shrugged before looking up at Leo. “Told you I’d bring you the stars, Le.”
Reaching forward, Leo quickly pulled Finn in for a kiss, “Sweetheart..” He murmured, resting his head on the other boy’s forehead.
They pulled apart as the show began to start, sitting back in their chairs. Logan smiled softly, reaching across the back of Leo’s chair to grab Finn’s shoulder, “I don’t think anyone can say you’re bad at gift-giving anymore, Harz.” He whispered.
Leo sniffled softly as he watched the solar system spread around him, the planets and the stars right there in front of him. Finn really got him the stars. His boys took him to New York just for his birthday. The amount of love he felt for them was overwhelming while also never being enough. He would spend the next 20 years and all of the years after that giving his love to these boys.
Watching as the entire universe flew in front of their very eyes, Leo smiled.
Because he already had his entire world. Right next to him.

[warnings: alienation]
summary: in which embry isn’t ashamed of y/n | tradgoth!reader | requested!

masterlist
By now, you were used to all the stares. Well, actually, no one stared anymore, just stayed away from you.
You don't know what turned people off; was it the jet black hair or the black lipstick? Maybe it was the eyeliner and the big black combat boots? But did you care? No.
Your mom thought it was a phase, but you never felt more confident in the way you looked.
When you first were getting into your look, your classmates stared, and you heard all the whispers. It was discouraging at first, but your mom always told you to hold your head high no matter what.
At first, it was the big black boots. Your eyes almost turned into hearts at first sight of them. But then you wanted to push it even further, the novelty of the boots wore off. You went for all black clothes now, ditching the floral skirts and donating whatever else wasn't you anymore. You wore your favorite black boots with black dresses, black shirts, black mini skirts, black jeans, as long as it was black, you would wear it.
Once you had the perfect wardrobe, you started doing your makeup. Black eyeliner, thick or thin, long or short, depended on the day.
But soon, that wasn't enough, and to complete your full evolution, you went and got box dye and dyed your hair jet black.
The whole style change garnered you the eyes of the entire school, but once they got used to the look, the stares subdued.
You were happy people no longer stared, but now you felt alienated. You were always shy, never had any real friends, just people you'd talk to in class. But no one would speak to you now.
You thought that maybe you should go back to your old look, but that wouldn't change anything. People would think you were confused, and they already made up their minds about you.
So, you held your head high, confident in yourself. Sure, you wished people would talk to you and give you a chance, but it wasn't worth trading your confidence and happiness for it.
But one day, you were in the library, not looking for any book, in particular, just thumbing along the spines. You finished reading the summary on the back of a book, and as you were looking for the spot you took it from, your eyes met another. The staring brown eyes were on the other side of the bookshelf, unwavering from yours.
You blinked and felt your cheeks heat up, not used to the looks anymore (but it was also just weird that someone was looking right into your eyes). You coughed gently, hoping to distract the boy across from you, but his soft amber eyes were unwavering.
"Um, are you alright?" You finally spoke up, keeping your voice low since you were in the library.
He seemed to have snapped out of his gaze. His face that displayed shock, was now covered with joy.
"You're Y/N, right?" He asked, an aloof smile on his face as he reached down to grab his backpack.
"Uh... yeah, Y/N," You nodded and walked as he quickly walked around the shelf.
He was now standing in front of you, tall and slender, warm russet skin, and the brown eyes that were just about ingrained into your brain.
"I'm Embry!"
He stuck his hand out, waiting for you to shake it. You hesitantly met your hand with his and shook it.
"Yeah, I know. We've gone to school since freshman year," You chuckled awkwardly.
You tried pulling your hand away, but it was practically glued, the way Embry was gripping it. You tugged it back, giving him a tight smile, and turned to walk away. It wasn't a lot, but you weren't used to the chitchatting, so you were growing uncomfortable. You were used to being isolated, forced to be alone.
"Wait, do you think... you could... help me find a good book?" He asked as if trying to make something up.
You raised an eyebrow but still nodded, walking a little further down the aisle.
"This is my favorite book, like, ever. You might like it, I don't know, don't really know what you like," You shrugged and grabbed the book of the shelf, handing it to the boy.
"Thank you. I'll make sure to give it a read. And I'll let you know what I think," He nodded and looked down at the book in his hands. "Do we have any classes together?"
"I don't really know; I just focus on the lesson if I'm honest," You shrugged. "But yeah, definitely let me know if you like it."
"Okay, I will. I better get going, they're waiting for me," He sighed and looked back at the table at the end of the aisle.
At the small circular table was Jacob Black and Quil Ateara. You didn't realize the two of them were there, their eyes locked on you and Embry. But now that you noticed them, they looked very on guard, ready to jump into action. But nothing crazy ever happened at your school, so you don't know why they were so tense.
"Yeah, you do that. They look like they're about to combust," You joked and turned away. "Talk to you later, Embry."
From then, you two grew to be practically inseparable.
He read the book fairly quickly and found you during lunch, going on and on about it. All you could do was smile; it was rare that someone liked something just as much as you did. And to hear him go on about it made you happy because he was happy, and you could see his eyes twinkle as he talked.
It became something like a book club, but you were always talking about things other than the books you'd recommend to each other. You were hanging out after school, getting pizza, watching the movie versions of the books you read. It was a great time. You finally had a friend.
Of course, you had to overcome the disbelief that he wanted to hang out with you, and it took even longer for you to believe he didn't care what other people thought.
He would wrap an arm around your shoulder, and even though you'd get flushed with embarrassment, he wouldn't think anything of it. You weren't embarrassed by him, of course, but now all eyes were back on you. You heard the whispers (you always did). The boy that went off the rails and joined a "gang" with the goth girl. It was all the school could talk about for weeks.
But the pack didn't think anything about your new relationship with their pack brother. They were happy, which you thought was weird; you thought they would judge you and maybe try to talk him out of it.
You found out about the pack and the imprinting after Embry invited you to Emily's for dinner one weekend.
He was asking you about how often you had to dye your hair, honestly intrigued. This made Paul laugh and say, "imprinting makes you interested in the most random things."
This comment caught your attention but what made you even more suspicious was Seth nudging him and saying, "bro, he didn't tell her yet! Idiot."
You had looked over at Embry, an eyebrow raised, but he just gave you a sheepish smile. You let it go for the time being, but the next movie night you had, you pressed him.
He spilled though you found it weird, you weren't going to push away the only person you had.
"So, Jake and Quil heard when I said they were going to combust? Like, because of the good hearing thing?" You asked, hand over your open mouth.
"That's your only question?" He chuckled and pulled you into his chest, kissing the top of your head.
You didn't know when you two had crossed the line from best friends to boyfriend and girlfriend, but you theorized it was that night.
He gripped your hand as you walked into the cafeteria. Instead of sitting alone at lunch, you sat with the pack and Kim. It made you happy to feel like you were a part of something. Something that accepted you for who you are.
"Maybe you can do that thing you do with your eyes on my eyes," Embry said, his head supported but by his hand as he looked at you lovingly.
"You mean eyeliner? You'll really let me?" You asked, your eyes lighting up with joy.
"Yeah, sure, seems fun," Your boyfriend shrugged nonchalantly, but you knew he was bubbling with happiness just at the sight of how happy you were.
"Y/N, please send me a picture of that," Quil chuckled, making Embry roll his eyes.
It was tv night at your house, very different from movie night. Leave it to your boyfriend to make a big deal about the difference. ("It's the principle!")
Tonight you were starting Golden Girls (Embry's choice. You wanted to start Community but Embry won rock, paper, scissors fair and square).
"Who even introduced you to Golden Girls?" You asked, holding the black eyeliner pen in your hand as you started your project.
"My mom, of course... duh Y/N," He mumbled the last part, making you giggle.
You finished one eye and went to move to the other, but you paused. At first, you were looking at your work, but then you started thinking about how perfect he was and how grateful you were to have him in your life.
You hadn't realized you were smiling like a goofy idiot until Embry spoke up.
"What? Did you mess up?" He asked and reached for the hand mirror on the coffee table.
"No, I just realized how much I love you, that's all," You shrugged and went back to doing his eyeliner.
Once you finished, you pulled back and kissed his cheek before looking at your masterpiece.
"You look great!" You smiled.
"Do I look like you?" He asked, smiling back at you
"Even better, baby."

Lies {Ten x Reader}
Author's Note: I wrote this in a few days and it has not been beta read so I'm more than a little sure it will have grammatical and spelling errors. I still hope you enjoy though!
Synopsis: You are hiding a big secret. A secret that, to keep hidden, you continuously lie to your boyfriend about.
Pairing: Ten x Reader
Word Count: 3600 words
Brisk, polluted air washed over the city, bringing the soft, fresh scent of morning to the land. The sun hadn’t yet risen, but the city was awake, shop owners unlocking their doors, cars stuck at traffic lights, half dressed and hung over men and women doing the walk of shame. It was the same every morning. Except, this morning, there was a slight difference.
You tugged your boyfriend's jacket tighter as a soft breeze breathed across your body. You weren’t usually awake at this hour, preferring to sleep well into the morning, but today, there was too much to think about. Too much on your mind. You’d slept as long as you could, but, for once, your boyfriend's embrace was unable to lull your racing thoughts.
Life could be complicated. Just when you were starting to enjoy it, it threw you a curveball. Typically, those curveballs somehow made everything fall into place, somehow kickstarted your life in some new, better direction. This time, life had done more than throw you a curveball. It kicked you in the crotch and spit in your cereal.
Your fingers wrapped around the cool rail of the balcony and sighed. Worries and fears rushed through your mind. How were you going to tell Ten? How were you going to tell your family and his? How did you even feel about all of this?
A hand dropped down to your stomach, still aching and cramping from the early morning sickness. Your eyes shut. This was the last thing you needed. Yet here you were.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Are you sure? You could just be late this time,” your best friend had asked.
You weren’t. All you were certain of was it had been two weeks since you were supposed to get your period and it still hadn’t shown up. Now, you didn’t like bleeding from your lady bits, but it was always a sure sign that your uterus was perfectly unhappy without a fertilized egg nestled inside its warm walls. Without a bloody hissy fit producing a murder scene in your pants and with some sort of stomach virus churning up your guts, you were beginning to get worried.
“Have you been to the doctor?” she asked.
“Yeah right, they’d call here and Ten would somehow end up answering and find out the truth from some middle-aged balding guy instead of me!”
She raised her hands in surrender.
“Then… a drugstore test?” she asked.
“How? I’d end up using my credit card and when he pays the bill, he’d see a weird charge and ask me about it, then I’d have to tell him after he’d backed me into a corner!”
She sighed, clearly getting annoyed.
“Do you want me to get it for you?”
You paused a moment to think, a smile blossoming across your face.
“That’d be great!”
She let out a groan and slid up off the couch, grabbing her purse.
“If you are, I get to name it,” she declared before marching out of your apartment.
As her car started and back out of the driveway, you grabbed your favorite blanket off the back of the couch and wrapped it around you, burrowing yourself deeper into the fuzzy softness as your stomach twisted in knots. You shut your eyes and took a deep breath, praying for a good answer, but the issue was, you had no idea what answer you truly wanted.
On one hand, you loved Ten with all your heart and would jump at the chance of having a family with him. On the other, he was an idol. He was an idol in NCT no less that was constantly traveling back and forth between South Korea and China for promotions. He was busy. His career was just getting good. Something like this could, not only change your life, but alter his forever.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It hadn’t taken long for your best friend to get back from the pharmacy. It was only right down the road after all. Still, as soon as she stepped in the door, holding up a bag filled with packages of sticks that could show your future and alter your life, you tightened the blanket around you. Did you even want to know?
She sat down on the edge of the couch seeming to read your mind as she brought a hand up to softly stroke over your shoulder. Her gaze softened. You knew she understood. It wasn’t long ago that she’d also had a pregnancy scare which had resulted in simply being food poisoning.
You doubted that was the case this time.
“It’ll be better once you know. Then, there’s no longer the lingering curiosity and fear,” she encouraged softly.
She was right. You knew that, but nothing could stop the anxiety from pooling in your stomach as you cast your eyes at the shopping bag.
“How many did you get?” you asked.
“Five. Just to be certain,” she said softly.
With a nod and a deep breath, you reached for the bag still resting in her hand. You carried it to the bathroom, locking the door. You knew she wouldn’t barge in on you, but as shuddered breaths fell from your lips, you knew you needed to do this next part completely alone.
You unpackaged each of the tests and lined them up in an easily accessible row.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Eight minutes later, you sat on the bathroom floor, back pressed against the door as your eyes sharply watched the timer on your phone count down. Your chest clenched at the last few seconds before it dinged in your hand, signaling time was up. The tests were ready and, once you looked at the results, you would finally have answers, answers you possibly didn’t want.
“Deep breaths, (y/n),” you whispered to yourself.
You shut your timer off and eased yourself off the floor, hands trembling as you reached for the closest plastic stick. What were you even hoping for?
Your fingers closed around the plastic and your eyes closed, breath becoming shallow. Just a few more seconds. Few more seconds of ignorant bliss before you would be forced to learn the truth.
You swallowed a lump in your throat and opened your eyes, two pink lines on the stick greeting you.
The test fell from your hands as your body crumpled to the ground, tears spilling from your eyes and cascading down your face.
“(y/n)?” your best friend asked.
You didn’t respond. Your body shuddered as silent sobs racked through your body. It wasn’t that you weren’t happy or that you’d never dreamed of having a family, you just never expected it to happen like this, especially when you could not only ruin your life, but the life of a child and your boyfriends.
It was a few extra minutes before you were finally able to pull yourself off the floor and unlock the door. Your best friend gaped at your teary eyes, face etched with worry, but she opened her arms and you dropped into them, wrapping your arms around her tightly and clinging to her.
“It… It was… p-positive,” you stammered.
She squeezed you tightly, hands rubbing up and down your back.
“I’m pregnant…”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
By sheer luck, Ten hadn’t come home that night, choosing to stay at the WayV dorm with Hendery and Xiaojun who, according to Ten, were distraught and upset that they didn’t get to see Ten every day anymore.
His absence had allowed you time to dispose of the tests, all of which read positive, burying them in the trash and making a mental note to take the trash out the next day. You’d also had time to calm yourself down enough to make a decision.
Getting rid of the baby wasn’t an option. You loved children. You’d always loved the prospects of having a child. Even if Ten wanted nothing to do with you or the child, you were not going to simply get rid of it. If he left and you decided you couldn’t do it on your own, you would check yourself into a facility that would help you and give the baby up for adoption. If you thought you could handle it, you would raise your own child. Because no matter what Ten said, you still had your own choices to make.
That night, you had settled down with a sappy romance movie and a bowl of ice cream, curled up in one of Ten’s shirts in bed, preparing to tell him the next day.
However, that day would never come.
As the next day rolled around, you had put off telling him and, as the days ticked by, you kept making excuses not to. Pretty soon, you’d hit the three month mark with a healthy baby and your flat stomach was starting to expand. You’d always worn baggier shirts so, covering up wasn’t a big deal, but the constant sickness and cravings were getting harder to hide.
Arms wrapped around your waist, causing you to jump, thoughts evaporating into the chilly air.
“What are you doing up so early?” he whispered sleepily against your ear, a chill running down your spine.
“Couldn’t sleep,” you calmly responded.
He hummed against your ear and squeezed you a little closer. You winced as his arms tightened around your stomach.
“What’s wrong?”
You shook your head.
“I’m still getting over this virus, I guess,” you lied.
Ten was an attentive man, so when he noticed how often you were getting sick, in the mornings specifically, he had immediately asked you about it. Being on the spot and not quite ready to tell him the truth, you’d lied that you’d been hanging around a friend with the stomach virus and they must have given it to you. He had bought it, insisting that you go to the doctor if it got worse, but you had declined. Now, weeks after you’d first lied, as your sickness continued, Ten was becoming more freaked out, begging you to go to the hospital, convinced that you were dying.
Not wanting to admit that you’d been lying, and slightly concerned that, even three months into your pregnancy, you were still getting sick, you had waited until Ten was doing promotions before going to your doctor.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“It’s nice to see you again, Ms. (y/l/n), how have you been feeling?” your doctor, Dr. Byun asked, taking a seat on the plush stool by the laptop.
“I’ve been alright. Just concerned. I know I’m around three months, but I would have thought the morning sickness would have ceased by now…”
He let out a hum and pulled your chart up on your laptop.
“Your last check-up was two weeks ago. Did they do an ultrasound? I’m not seeing it in here.”
You shook your head.
“Alright, so that’s the first step. I will tell you that morning sickness at three months usually goes away, but it is completely common and natural for some women to experience sickness well after that,” he responded.
You let out a sigh. Ten would never buy it if you told him your throwing up was completely normal. But you nodded and he stepped from the room to get a nurse to set up an ultrasound.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After the ultrasound, Dr. Byun came back, holding his notes.
“It looks like everything is normal. It’s possible that the baby is simply rejecting some of the nutrients given. I know oftentimes during pregnancy, the baby craves sweets, junk-food, or other things, but I would recommend trying to eat as many fruits and vegetables as possible. This will help give the baby nutrients and hopefully quell the sickness. However, I am going to send your blood-work to the labs and see if there is anything else going on.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That had been a week ago and still, even with extra vegetables and well-balanced meals, the sickness persisted, and with it, grew Ten’s worry.
“Maybe I should take you to the hospital if it keeps getting worse,” he suggested, mumbling against your ear.
You shook your head.
“I trust Dr. Byun. He says it can be normal when the ba- I mean, when the immune system needs a little extra nutrients,” you answered.
He didn’t respond for a long moment, resting his chin on your shoulder.
“Did Dr. Byun ever call you back with your bloodwork results?” he asked.
You shook your head. It was the truth. Sort of.
You really did feel bad for lying to him. It never was your intention, but the longer you kept your secret, the harder it got to tell him. Part of you wished you’d just come clean the day he’d gotten home so, you’d at least know how he felt and whether or not you’d be doing it alone. The other part of you was terrified the moment you told him that you’d be giving him up.
He pressed his face into the crook of your neck, lips touching your skin in a soft kiss that made you shudder in his arms.
“I love you,” he whispered against your skin.
Your heart melted. If he truly loved you, would he stay? Would he understand why you lied? Would he accept you and the baby as his?
Suddenly, you felt brave enough to come clean. No matter what, you were confident that love would prevail.
“Ten I-”
You were cut off as his phone began to ring.
He sighed, letting his head drop onto your shoulder before reaching into his pajamas pants to retrieve his phone.
“Hello?”
You couldn’t hear who was on the other end, but it was definitely Kun or their manager.
“Now?” he asked.
His nose crinkled in annoyance.
“But (y/n)’s still sick!”
A huff fell from his lips.
“Fine,” he growled into the receiver, hanging up the phone and shoving it back into his pocket, eyes fixing hard on the railing.
“I have to go. Some stupid radio show decided last minute they want us there and we can’t get out of it now,” he grumbled.
You turned around, your courage disappearing as you placed a soft hand on his cheek.
“It’s alright baby. Go, I’ll be here when you get back,” you spoke softly.
He leaned his cheek against your hand, leaning his face closer to press a gentle kiss to your wrist. Butterflies erupted in your stomach.
“I’ll be home after lunch,” he promised.
With that, he hurried back inside.
You watched him disappear into your shared bedroom before facing the city again. The sun was now almost all the way over the horizon.
Would Ten still kiss you like that if he knew?
Your heart clinched heavily in your chest.
Would you be able to live without him if he left?
Ten’s POV
Something wasn’t right. Ten knew that. What he didn’t know was what. (Y/n) had been sick for several weeks and, despite her reassurance that everything was “normal” and “fine,” he couldn’t shake the notion that you were lying about something.
As his car pulled up to the WayV dorm where their manager would be picking them up, he glanced down at his phone. He had been expecting to see you in his background, smiling blissfully, looking as radiant and beautiful as ever by the lake they’d visited over the summer, right before you’d gotten sick. What he saw instead was himself, grinning and holding a small cupcake with purple icing, a single lit candle waiting to be blown out. The picture you’d taken on his birthday.
Confused, he turned the phone over in his hand and shook his head in minor annoyance at the cute little stickers of Ten and the other members of WayV stuck on the clear phone case. Your phone case.
He must have accidentally taken your phone rather than his own in his rush to get dressed and get to the dorm.
A small laugh bubbled to his throat. He knew getting matching phones and phone cases would end up being a bad idea, but you had insisted.
The phone vibrated in his hand and he laughed as his own name popped onto the screen.
From Ten<3: Babe, you took my phone instead :D
Ten shook his head.
To Ten<3: guess you’ll have to forward me updates from everyone today!
From Ten<3: Or I could keep them all to myself and “forget” to tell you
He sent back a laughing emoji and stuffed the phone back in his pocket. He stepped out of his car as the large van meant to take them to the radio show pulled up. He waved to the manager driving and laughed to himself as YangYang led the way sprinting from the building, Lucas and Hendery hot on his heels.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was in the middle of the show that Ten felt the phone buzzing in his pocket. As Lucas energetically retold the story of how he’d managed to pull off a prank on Kun and WinWin, Ten discreetly pulled the phone from his pocket. Dr. Byun flashed across the screen and Ten’s heart quickened. On one hand, he wanted to respect your privacy and not answer the call. On the other, he desperately wanted some answers.
“We’re going to take a quick break! We’ll be right back!” the host said over the speaker.
That was all the answer Ten needed to hear.
He clicked the green answer button and pressed his phone to his ear, quickly making his way out of the room before anyone could question him.
“Hello?” he asked.
“Hello, I’m Dr. Byun, is Ms. (y/l/n) nearby?” he asked.
“She isn’t but I’m her boyfriend. I can take a message.”
As soon as the words left his mouth, Ten knew he shouldn’t have said them, but part of him couldn’t help being curious, his gut too filled with worry to think rationally.
“I’m calling to let her know we got her results back. Her sickness is being caused by an anemia that sometimes has the effect on women carrying children. The fetus isn’t getting enough protein nutrients. We’d recommend she eat more red meat and add anemia vitamins to her prenatal vitamins. If the sickness doesn’t stop in two weeks, she should come back in for another visit,” he said.
The phone dropped from Ten’s hand, hitting the floor hard. His eyes were wide, hands shaking. His left knee gave out first, buckling beneath his weight. He clutched the wall for support.
“Ten!”
Kun’s voice barely reached his ears as his heart pounded.
The leaders arms wrapped around Ten’s middle, leading him to lean against him as Kun held him up.
“What’s wrong? Are you ok? Are you feeling faint?”
Ten didn’t answer. His eyes were fixed on a spot on the wall.
Pregnant. That’s why you kept throwing up…
Your POV
The moment you’d noticed you were left with Ten’s phone, anxiety pooled in your stomach. You had no idea when Dr. Byun was going to call or whether Ten would answer. Dr. Byun telling Ten the truth was not exactly the best way for him to find out. Especially since you’d been lying to him.
The minute the door to your shared apartment flew open, slamming hard against the wall, your hands began to shake.
“Why the hell wouldn’t you tell me?!” he snapped as soon as he rounded the corner.
His face was red with anger, a sight you weren’t used to seeing. Ten didn’t get angry a lot. And when he did, he often had good outlets, like dance, to vent his anger.
He yanked your phone out of his pocket and threw it on the couch, making you flinch.
“You lied to me! For months! Why didn’t you tell me you were pregnant?” he seethed.
Yours eyes glazed as they met his, tears gathering, but you blinked, refusing to let them fall when his anger was your fault to begin with.
“I-I… I was afraid… I didn’t want to lose you…”
As soon as the words were out of your mouth, you wanted to take them back. His face fell. His arms tumbled precariously to his side. Tears gathered in his own eyes, escaping and cascading slowly down his face.
Ten didn’t cry often. His pride prevented it. Watching his shoulders begin to tremble and shake had guilt gripping at your heart tightly.
“Did I not prove my love to you enough?” he asked, voice stammering.
You stared at him for a moment before sliding yourself off the couch and wrapping your arms tightly around his shoulders.
“I know you love me baby. But… your career… I was afraid you’d leave me… leave us… because I was holding you back from this…”
It was a long moment before he responded.
His hands cupped your face gently, brushing away the tears you hadn’t realized were beginning to fall.
“My career is important. I love being in WayV, but you always come first. And now, you and the baby come first,” he spoke softly.
He trailed his hand down to softly rest it on your stomach. A water smile spread across your face.
“You’re going to have to do a lot of the parenting alone. So I’ll understand if you want to leave me to find the baby a father that will be there to help you. Otherwise, I’m with you all the way.”
You brought your gaze to his, searching his eyes for jokes or laughter. Finding none, you wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled him close to you.
“Our baby could have no better father than you,” you whispered softly.
He pressed his lips delicately to yours, drawing you in closer and holding you against him.
“I love you,” he whispered. “Both of you.”
