so I started watching The First Frost (on Netflix, how dreadful) and the translators just refused to translate the episode titles ??? Like why? It's clearly important and the writers put effort into them, so why this "creative" choice to just neglect it?

So here I will write down all the starting and ending titles (because I'm a sucker for these things) as I go through the eps, so I can help my fellow viewers out as well as my future self (ik she will re-watch this).

QL Dramas - Currently Watching

Lost in the Woods (Wed, Airing: 4/7)

Okay what the fuck why is this low budget drama so good? I'm really enjoying the push and pull between Fifa and Hem. I really loved 1000 Stars, but one of my criticisms of it was that they treated Tian like he couldn't do anything. Fifa is finding his way and proving himself to the townspeople one step at a time, and I love that.

My Golden Blood AKA Gay Twilight (Wed, Airing: 5/12)

This show is everything I wanted it to be. Vampires? ✅ Weird sniffing kink? ✅ Joss taking his shirt off every 3 seconds? ✅

Top Form (Thurs, Airing: 5/11)

They knew what they were doing when they cast these two. Logically, I know that Boom is the same age as my older sister. However, I still am watching this show and going "he's just a little guy. Just a smol bean. Just a little blushing kitty cat" Also holy fuck their chemistry

Sweet Tooth, Good Dentist (Fri, Airing: 3/12)

This is the silly romcom I need right now. Jay is so silly but so earnest, I love him. Sant is so relatable. Poor? Same. Too busy for love? Same. Work work work? Same.

Your Sky of Us (Sat, Airing: 3/3)

My cuties are back and they are soft and cute and fluffy and ugh. I can't wait for Domundi's other shows this year. I need Domundi to venture into GL. I wonder what they could do with it.

QL Dramas - Catching Up

I'm Your Moon (Sun, Airing: 5/8, ME: 1/8)

I promised myself I would start keeping up with GLs this year, so I'm determined to watch this one. It includes one of my all time favorite tropes: soulmates!

Heesu in Class 2 (Fri & Sat, Airing: 3&4/10, ME: 1/10)

I've seen lots of good things about this, but haven't had a chance to watch yet, so I've gotta catch up this week!

QL Dramas - Completed

Flirt Milk

This drama was a wild ride. I never knew what was going on, and I mostly watched it out of some horrid fascination. See my full review here.

Ossan's Love TH

I really loved this! ...right up until the last episode. Earth and Mix did amazing, as usual. I also loved Krit, he did an awesome job. We love to see older LGBT representation. See my full review here.

Perfect 10 Liners

Ugh. P10L has been my weekly Sunday show for so long!! I can't believe it's over. It wasn't a perfect drama, but it did so many things well. For one: it brought us the lovely couples of PerthSanta and JuniorMark. I ran out of time to write the full review, so check that out tomorrow.

Rebound the Series

While procrastinating my job (whoopsie...) I watched Rebound, and damn I was surprised by how much I liked it! I have now watched every MeenPing show, and every show I am surprised by how much they grow. I really love them. Check out my review tomorrow as well.

I'm so glad they did a season 2 of this show. It's so funny. Unfortunately, episode 10 still didn't have English Subtitles on YouTube when I last checked, so I'll check back again when I can.

Have you noticed that he keeps moving around the apartment in front of her covering any sharp corners so she won't hurt herself walking into them while sleepwalking? If it isn't them, I don't know what is...

He is SO in love. Oh my God.

I am thinking she is NOT sleepwalking or at least enabled herself to do so on purpose because we saw the giant barricade she built around her door so as not to get out while sleepwalking and bug him yet here she somehow is. HMMMM

This is...I am hyperventilating into a bag.

There is NO way she did not kiss him on purpose NO WAY

This drama is 100% proof that directing and acting are so crucial because, if you think about it, there is close to no plot in this story. It really is a slow romantic mood and character piece about two first loves who never truly moved on, slowly slowly slooooowly reconnecting with each other and healing their hearts. Like - there is genuinely close to no plot. The amount of plot could fit into half an hour. And yet I am entranced, I am mesmerized, I am gasping. (This may very well be the first time in all my cdrama watching years - since 2007 - that my top 2 cdramas of the year will be moderns; a miracle.)

How very "give me my sin again" kissing line from R&J.

(The other thing I love about this drama is that these people feel real - they feel as if they exist not just in the story and are put away when the camera stop rolling. They have traumas and hopes and difficult portions of their personalities and just - they are real and they breathe.)
