Hello, I love your stories and I hope you can make my fun request
Can you do Eddie Munson x Death fem reader
So hear me out let's say there in the upside down (11 and everyone isn't in California there in Hawkins and in the upside down with them and while they where chilling out in the upside down when Steve got hurt all of the sudden they heard whistling and turned and see a badass fem reader and walked up to 11 and starts toying with her (just like the wolf from puss and boots yk Death and when they figured out she's actually death they somehow get her a change of heart (after she tried to kill 11 and showed off her power a bit) and her and Eddie fall in love or Eddie falls first.
Sorry if it’s long
This was actually so fun and I loved writing the Death character. So if anyone else loves it, feel free to request ( once they are open ) for more death reader. I hope this is what you wanted and you enjoy it! Thank you for requesting 🫶🏻
Death was inspired by Rio from Agatha all along, won't lie. But the Death character is NOT Rio. If that makes sense. Just don't think Aubrey plaza is the reader because she's not, just was an inspiration so I wanted to give the credit to that.
Lady Death
"I FUCKING hate these bats," Steve growled. Nancy sat on her knees as she tried to cover Steve's wounds.
"What the hell is this place?" Eddie asked once he caught his breath. All he knew was that he jumped off a boat and was in a hell pit.
"The upside down," El said. She was looking around, almost like she felt the presence of something no one had seen yet.
"Oh great, so I have to fight to survive in the normal world, and now I have to survive in this sewer-type place? And this girl has powers?" Eddie asked frantically. He knew somewhat of everything that was going on, he just didn't believe it was a real place.
"Dude, I've already told you all of this!" Dustin argued.
"No offense, kid. But I figured you were full of shit!'" Eddie spat.
"Guys! Quiet," El demanded. Everyone went silent as they looked at her. She closed her eyes, trying to feel what was wrong. "There's something here," she whispered.
"Yeah, flesh-eating bats!" Steve hissed.
Before anyone could say anything, El was flung across the ground.
"EL!" Mike shouted, running over to her. But before he could come in contact with her, she was evaluated into the air. The gang watched in horror as she seemed to be held up by her throat, by an invisible force.
"What's going on?" Robin panicked. Nancy worked faster to clean up Steve.
The sound of someone whistling filled their ears. The gang all turned to see a woman walking towards them. She was dressed in a skin-tight green bodysuit, holes on the sides that showed skin, a green crown on her head, and a dangerous smirk playing on her lips.
Everyone stared at her in fear and awe. She was incredibly beautiful, but nothing alive behind her eyes.
"Poor little El, not so strong anymore, huh?" The lady mocked, she flicked her wrist and El fell to the floor. Mike raced over to her, this time able to collect her body in his arms.
"Who are you?" El asked, panting as she took air into her lungs.
"She's Death," Eddie said in awe. Everyone looked at him shocked, how did he know who she was?
Even she was surprised. She was fast, appearing in front of Eddie in seconds as she gripped his neck. Eddie tried to cover up the fact that he was incredibly turned on by her harsh touch.
"Who are you?" she questioned, Eddie blushed under her studying eyes. She took in every inch of his face, something about him was familiar.
"Edward Munson," he choked out. The gang didn't move an inch, staring at the two.
"How do you know who I am?" She released his throat to allow him to speak. She flicked her wrist and everyone in the gang was thrown to the ground. They were stuck, not able to move a muscle.
Eddie was a little scared, looking at his friends and some people he barely knew trapped under her power.
"I've read about you. You collect souls, right? El was supposed to die from Vecna but she escaped. Unfinished business and now you have to finish her," Eddie explained, "am I right, Y/N?"
Y/N stepped away from the boy. She felt uneasy that he seemed to know everything. No one was supposed to know who she was until she took their soul, of course.
With her distracted, the gang ran over to El. El was quick to use her own powers, sending Y/N in the air and harshly crashing into the ground. Her head hit the ground with a thud and her body went still.
"LET'S GO!" Steve yelled, the gang nodded and all ran to make their escape. Eddie went to follow but when he took a look at Y/N's limp body on the floor, he stopped.
"Eddie, come on!" Dustin said, gesturing his hands to show that everyone was leaving.
"We can't just leave her," Eddie argued, against his better judgement he walked towards her.
"You said it yourself, she's Death. I think she's capable of handling a bump on the head," Mike sassed. He was annoyed that Eddie seemed to care about a stranger that was more than willing to kill El.
Eddie ignored Mike's words, kneeling down as he rolled her body over. There was a gash on her head, blood running down the side of her face. Eddie didn't have anything on him to help, but he ripped the end of his shirt and tied it around her head. He watched as his white shirt began to stain with her blood, but he didn't mind.
She couldn't die, he knew that. But he wouldn't feel right leaving her behind with no help at all.
~~~
It's been a few days since the encounter with Death, and she was in everyone's head ( just for different reasons.) El thought of her as a new enemy and most of the gang were terrified to know they were that close to Death.
But she was in Eddie's mind for a different reason. When he was younger he loved reading about death and what happened in the afterlife. He learned what death was, who death was. She's been around for centuries but never aged. Still the beautiful girl, who lost her soul too young.
Eddie often felt a connection to her. She didn't have a family, or any friends. People were scared of her, banished her, leaving her alone for years and years. She was like Eddie and Eddie was just like her. He was alone and banished in his own way, but they had much in common.
He couldn't leave her behind because he understood the pain of being alone. The pain of everyone running away, terrified. He wanted her to feel cared about for once.
Something about Eddie humanized her in a sense. She hadn't felt anything in her body since she died. She didn't feel emotions, her heart, not even her lungs. But when she was near him, touching and seeing him, she felt a beat in her chest. A flutter in her stomach.
Her body felt alive
She was able to trace where he lived from the property of his shirt. She carried the blood stained shirt in her hand as she walked through the woods, looking for his trailer park.
She felt that same beat in her chest as she walked past a small trailer. Random chairs in the front and an ash tray by the door. She walked away, the beat in her chest decreasing. With furrowed eyebrows, she walked backwards, the beat increased.
"Well look at that, having a heart is good for something," she scoffed, turning in the direction of the trailer.
She didn't knock, using her powers to fling the door right off the hinges.
Eddie was brushing his teeth when he heard his front door slam a wall.
"Shit!" He swore through his foamy mouth. He figured a big gust of wind blew through the door but when he came out, he saw Y/N standing in his house. His toothbrush hung from his mouth as he stared at her in shock.
"On-mf-e-sec-mff," he said through the foam. He turned and raced back in his bathroom to spit out the paste and rinse his mouth. He jumped when Y/N appeared behind him.
"Um, hi," Eddie said, staring at her reflection. She stood tall behind him, peaking over his shoulder. Her hair was down, framing her face. She was in her death clothes, the tight bodysuit making him gulp.
"You gave me this," she spoke bluntly. She held his shirt, hanging from her fingertips. He turned around and grabbed the shirt, tossing it to the floor.
"Thanks for bringing it back," he smiled. She flinched as she felt her heart race. But recovered with a smile.
"You're welcome," she said, turning around and walking out. Eddie followed, confusion on his face.
"Wait, where are you going?" He asked, moving to cut her off. Her body slammed against his and she stepped back. Her face stone cold.
"I dropped off the shirt. That's all that needed to be done," she said. Eddie frowned, thinking about how the only time she's in someone's presence is to kill them.
"Hey, you know you can be around people for fun, not just take their souls," the comment sounded like he was a dick but he was genuine about it. He closed the door and moved to his couch, patting the seat next to him.
She eyed him, moving cautiously and sitting next to him. "Well, thank you," she smiled. "And thank you for helping me."
"You don't have to thank me. I promise my friends are kind people, they just had to fight for their lives a few too many times," Eddie sadly laughed.
"You haven't?" She asked, Eddie could feel her eyes. He turned his head to look at her, trying not to get lost in her eyes.
"I have, I just understand how it feels to be the one that's left behind. I've studied you my whole life and you're not as scary as the books made you seem."
Y/N was in awe of the softness he showed and offered her. She couldn't remember when was the last time she got to be in someone's company.
"And by far more beautiful in person," he said, softer and quieter than before. Her heart fluttered and she felt her skin getting warm.
She felt shy, moving her head to hide away but his hand reached out. She jumped slightly at the feeling of his hand on her warm cheek. The eye contact felt intense, like she was in a trance and unable to look away. She didn't want to anyway, she wanted to stare at him all day long.
"You know, since you brought back my shirt. I think I owe you for your kindness," he whispered. Her stomach flipped as a small smile formed on his face. His perfect pink lips stretched as his white teeth were on display. She turned her head to the side, questioning him.
"You hungry?" He asked, "for food not souls." He clarified. She couldn't help but giggle at his words.
"I could eat," she smiled. He smiled back, standing up and grabbing her hand. He was prepared to go right out the door but then he stopped.
"Would you maybe feel more comfortable in..uh-" he stuttered, still feeling the effects of her suit clinging to her body and showing off her figure. "Comfier clothes?"
"What are the options?"
~
"Steve, if I hear you moan and bitch about the bats one more time, I will cut you myself," Robin threatened.
"I'd like a little support here! I could've died!" Steve argued. Nancy laughed to herself as the two began to argue. Jonathan had his arm thrown around her shoulder, looking down at the menu.
Eddie walked in, his hand in hers as he looked around for an open table. He was shocked to see Steve, Robin, Nancy and Jonathan at a table.
Steve looked up and his eyes locked on Eddie, and then the girl next to him. Eddie gave him a small wave but turned the other direction, leading Y/N. They sat at a table, with her back to his friends.
Steve raced over to their table, he wanted to see if his eyes were seeing things. But as he made it to them, his eyes were right. Eddie was holding hands with Death.
"Can I talk to you?" Steve asked, his eyes on Eddie.
"One second," Eddie said, softly kissing her hand before he let go.
The two huddled over to the side, Steve whispering harshly.
"Are you insane?"
"She's still a person!" Eddie argued
"She's a killer, Eddie. You can't just get sucked into her looks. She's evil."
"She's not! It's a job. She doesn't kill randomly. She only goes when she's called. There's some human inside of her, I'm going to bring it out. She just needs someone to show her" Eddie explained.
"You are going to risk yourself and all your friends because you want to find the human in her?" Steve scoffed, "I don't believe there's any human in her," Steve looked over at the table. She sat drumming her fingers as she twirled a knife in the air with her powers.
Eddie sighed, knowing she wasn't helping his case.
Steve noticed a look in Eddie's eyes. He was desperate and he had this soft look when his eyes cast over her.
"You fell for her already, didn't you?" Steve chuckled. It was nice to see Eddie had a romantic side to him. Steve remembered the feeling of falling in love for the first time.
"Yes," Eddie sighed. "Which I know is crazy but trust me, she came to my house and do you know how easily she could have killed me if she wanted to?"
Steve sighed, he nodded his head. Sometimes he hated being a good friend.
"Well," he puffed, landing his hand on Eddie's shoulder, "Enjoy your date. And the gang will need to hear all about it."
The hand that was on Eddie's shoulder was suddenly ripped off. Steve cried out as his arm was bent backwards behind his back and slammed into a wall.
"Y/N!" Eddie hissed, taking her body off of Steve's.
The rest of the gang looked at the commotion, fast on their feet to run to Steve.
"Sorry!" Y/N said, a look of shock in her eyes. "I felt something burn in my body and lost it."
"From what?" Steve asked, his eyes huge as he sassed the girl, who he now noticed was dressed in Eddie's clothes.
"You touched Eddie," Y/N shrugged. She wasn't exactly sure herself.
"What's going on?" Robin asked. Quickly looking Death up and down, which didn't go unnoticed by Eddie. He snapped his fingers and Robin looked at him.
"Well," Steve said as he rubbed his arm, "looks like Eddie and um Y/N here are on a date."
The gang were shocked, not sure what to say.
"And she's the jealous type," Steve added through his clenched teeth.
"I'll stop by later and talk yeah? I'd like to enjoy my date," Eddie said as he slipped his hand into hers.
"Uh sure," Nancy said, still giving the two a weird look. Jonathan kept quiet, but he was just as confused.
The gang walked back to their table, Robin looking over her shoulder as the two sat back down.
"How the hell did he manage to swing her? She's way too hot for him," Robin scoffed.
"Oh little Rob, we'll get you your own little Death lover," Steve teased.
~~~
Within a few months, Y/N was around more often. She was glued to Eddie's side whenever she could be. Eddie loved it. He loved always having someone on his arm, and he wasn't mad about the kisses that were always placed on his skin.
The gang accepted her, a little on edge at times but she was mostly harmless. It was clear that the two were head over heels for each other in their own ways.
The times she was called to do her work, Eddie waited in his trailer. His heart warming when she appeared back within minutes, claiming she missed him.
Then she'd slide in his lap, Eddie's hands landing on her hips. He rubbed his thumb against her skin, thankful for the holes in her suit. He was guilty of getting hard whenever he saw her dressed in her suit. She was Death so of course she was mean about it. Rocking her hips against him as she slowly kissed his lips.
She was his and he was hers.
Who knew Death could make someone feel so alive.

It kills me that the GA doesn’t fully understand or appreciate the significance of Mike being in the shed with Joyce and Jonathan in s2.
They could have easily had just Joyce, Jonathan, and Hopper in there because Joyce and Jonathan are his family and Hopper is there to ensure their safety and help restrain Will.
But Mike is there.
Despite the fact that Dustin and Lucas are also Will’s friends, Mike is there.
Will was unconscious. He didn’t ask for Mike to be there. Mike was there. Mike wanted to be in there. The writers chose him to be there, with Dustin or Lucas.
They could’ve had a scene where each member of the party recounts their first or most precious memory of Will. It would’ve been beautiful! But other than Will’s family, they only wanted Mike there.
Only Mike.
Once again separating Mike as Will’s most important relationship outside of his family. Once again having Mike show that Will is special to him—their their bond is significant and goes beyond just best friends. Because in s1 Mike insists that Dustin and Lucas are his best friends, which would implied that they’re also Will’s best friends. So why aren’t they in the shed too?
Why just Mike.
Oh, to add more about Mike being in the shed:And to reference this ask you got a while back because I just rewatched the shed scene and thought of this ask: https://www.tumblr.com/glisten-inthedark/766608866928623616/joyce-informs-will-of-his-birthday-and-how-heJoyce says Will drew a rainbow ship when he was little. Which adds to that other anon pointing out that every memory they mention to Will has become significant later (Will coming out and also the rainbow room and how that + the other rainbows peppered throughout the show is likely used to reinforce the queer symbolism & narrative within the show)Well, Mike also brings up a campaign that involved sewers and insects, and iirc there’s a sewer-looking tunnel w/ a ladder like from a manhole in the bts video for s5. He also says that Will cast “fog cloud” and “saved us. You saved the entire party.” And I would love if that’s somehow foreshadowing something Will does involving a smoke bomb/screen in s5And Jonathan playing Should I Stay Or Should I Go foreshadowed the significance of music “reaching a part of the brain words can’t” in season 4Also once again even after they figure out Will is using Morse code, the writers don’t have Mike stay with the others in the house helping to translate/transcribe. He stays in the shed and we see him once again being shown as one of the integral, essential people there to help reach Will. And again, Will didn’t choose for him to be there! This isn’t an example of Will being in love with Mike. This is an example of Mike’s love for Will. (And honestly this whole thing probably helped facilitate Will falling in love with Mike because Mike did so much for him in s2 out of his love and care for Will, how could Will not fall for him??)
Hello! Oh, I think you may have read my mil*ven post? And yes, that's one thing I legit don't get too!
Like, did absolutely no one stop and ask themselves why did the writers choose to have only Mike there when it wasn't a choice Will made?
Because I'm not joking, I was already pretty suspicious of Will and Mike at that point but that scene pretty much solidified for me that there was something there. I'd be always like: OK but why is he the only one there?
So yeah, I'm constantly wondering how no one seems to notice it that he didn't have to be there, so why is he?

"See, I was thinking, once all this is over and Will’s back and you’re not a secret anymore, my parents can get you an actual bed for the basement. Or you can take my room if you want, since I’m down there all the time anyways. My point is, they’ll take care of you. They’ll be like your new parents, and Nancy, she’ll be like your new sister."
"I mean what did you think, really? That we were never gonna get girlfriends? That we were just gonna sit in my basement and play games for the rest of our lives?"
"And then I was thinking maybe you could come up here for Christmas. And Will, too. You can come before or after Christmas, or whatever Mrs. Byers wants, but I was thinking Christmas Day could be super fun, because we'd all have cool new presents to play with and... Uh. Sorry, that made me sound like a seven-year-old."
Something something Mike thinking about being in his basement with Will for the rest of his life and thinking it's childish, even going as far as to call it stupid...
#byler#ya'll remember what the word stupid means right...?#the fact that this is something mike wanted#like in his imagination#will is back#obviously#and el has better circumstances and he still views his home as her home and wants her in his life#and so yeah she can just take his room#and he'll take the basement#bc he's down there so much anyways...#and nancy and el can be like sisters...#like that was what he imagined without realizing it was really weird to want that...#until el was like oh then you'd be like my brother#and he's just like WAIT why would I want that?#and then he backtracks#and el asks if someone you'd go to the dance with would be a friend#and mike has some complications with the word friend...#it's epically tragic out here#the most incriminating of all though#is that mike never gives will the impression him and el were romantic#in fact#i'm pretty sure he felt the most comfortable opening up about still seeing el even though she was dead#with will#bc he knew will wouldn't make it weird#bc the others don't understand#it isn't until the snowball that will is literally dancing with another girl#that mike makes the move to pursue el when will is around#it's... so....#anyways mike is a projection king#if he is near yellow

Part 1 / Part 2 / Part 4
Eddie takes the piece of metal for the new piece and runs his torch along it. The flame flickers against the silver as he does, white hot.
But instead of bending it quite yet, he hammers down on it roughly before flicking the flame over it again. He bends it around the sizing device, still estimating Steve’s ring size to be just under his.
Once it’s shaped and melded together, he hammers it more, giving some of it a rougher edge.
The next part is tricker, the oxidation process.
Eddie is grateful his uncle stays out of his room and his business, he’s sure by now that the noises that aren’t just Iron Maiden or his own musical talents have caused confusion and intrigue.
He meant to tell his uncle about his jewelry, but honestly it made him nervous for people to see his work and know it was his. Like suddenly they’d change their minds and decide it was actually quite shit.
Especially the person he was giving most of his projects to.
Eddie takes out the clean plastic box from under his work station and puts a paper towel on the bottom, soaking in ammonia. He covers it with a plastic lid after the smell hits him and opens his tiny trailer bedroom window.
Realistically, he shouldn’t do this in the confined space, but he figures he’s inhaled enough bad shit; he’ll survive.
Eddie opens the box again to take a piece of tinfoil next and puts it in the middle of the box for the ring to sit on, then rolls the ring in the ammonia. He pours salt onto the ring, focusing on the spots he hammered more.
Placing it on the tinfoil, Eddie smiles to himself. This piece is going to be beautiful, but it’s also rougher than the last few pieces.
Steve would probably think his secret admirer, a woman no doubt, bought it from somewhere a little edgier. Eddie sighs at that thought, wishing he wasn’t such a coward. Wishing he could just tell him outright.
But it really wasn’t that simple.
As Eddie sketches out the final details of the ring, he hears the front door open, figuring Wayne might’ve come home on lunch. He had been doing that a lot lately, coming home from work to eat, to check up on Eddie.
But Eddie startles when he turns around to his own door swinging open, something his uncle would never do without knocking and waiting on an answer.
Mike Wheeler and Lucas Sinclair stand in his doorway, arguing something about their character sheets for the next campaign and apparently needing Eddie to be the tiebreaker.
Before he can hide the sketch or the box with the ring—
“What’s that?”
They ask it in unison with wide eyes and pinched noses, staring at the box containing his next secret gift to Steve.
“Nothing,” Eddie moves it aside with the sketchbook on top, trying to walk forward until they all go into the living room. He isn’t that lucky.
“It looks important,” Mike tries to look over his shoulder at the work station.
“Yeah, looks like a secret,” Lucas so helpfully chimes in, little shit.
“Can you guys drop it? What’s this about your—“
“We can stand here all day,” Lucas folds his arms with a smirk, nudging Mike’s shoulder.
“Yeah, I’m what Nancy likes to call ‘insufferable’,” Mike follows up, and Eddie has to stop himself from snorting at that.
“Fine! God, you guys are the worst and I’m starting to regret bringing you under my wing,” Eddie doesn’t, not once, but who is he if not dramatic, “you have to swear to secrecy of the highest level. It’s quite literally life or death.”
They exchange looks and then smile wide at Eddie, nodding in agreement with the terms. He takes a deep breath and starts.
“Eww, seriously? Steve? Like my sister’s ex, that Steve?!”
“For the millionth time, baby Wheeler, yes. Like your sister’s ex,” Eddie rubs his temples, having to literally repeat himself for the last twenty minutes.
The boys finally stop asking questions shortly after, at least about Steve.
“So how long does it sit like,” Lucas gestures vaguely to the now fully covered box, “that for?
“About twenty four hours,” Eddie answers.
“So you make your own? All your rings and chains?” Mike asks, seemingly dropping his whole Steve grudge. For now.
“Yeah, have been since I was sixteen probably,” Eddie outstretches his hands and stares down at them himself.
“Cool,” is the last thing Mike adds before they seem to move on from the subject all together and ask about their character sheets once again finally.
The night becomes an ongoing argument, Eddie having to break them up multiple times. But he can’t help but feel a little relieved from being able to have people who know about his secret.
The teens leave late with promises to keep everything under wraps, they of course both want updates, even begging to come with to drop the next ring off. Eddie says he’ll think about it, but they’ll be louder than his clunky van so he’ll just tell him later he forgot.
The next afternoon, the ring is ready to pull out and he looks it over with pride. Taking fine grit sandpaper, he rubs over the piece and inspects it thoroughly to make sure it’s ready for final touches.
Taking a silver wire that he already prepped, Eddie takes jewelry pliers and wraps it around the thinnest piece of the ring. He fires over it and looks it over one last time.
It’s everything he wanted it to be, nothing else he’s given Steve has looked like this.
Smiling to himself, Eddie puts it in it’s box and writes the note to accompany it.
‘Stevie, something different.’

Maybe I’m late but, happy Byler day!
You know i love imagining s5 scenarios so much, and in this one, well they already kissed and confessed time before, but since in mind I can’t stop imagine Will having powers (you can see, he clearly has powers connected to lights, like a cleric hehe) he needs a lot of motivation for going on, and Mike is really helpful when things gets harder. Plus since i love angst (but with happy endings), i added to my version the fear of having the possibility that killing Vecna means killing Will too. So yeah there’s tension between them, that’s also the reason why Mike is crying too, since is afraid of losing him (again). But will never happens <3
Sorry for celebrating with some angst, ok next time I’ll share something cheesy i swear.
#you know I’ve made this in less than a day#in fact I’m exploding haha#and I’m not so proud of this#but I’m proud of my abilities of finishing this#i love when this gays kiss#stranger things#mike wheeler#will byers#byler#bylerday2023#byler day#byler art#byler fanart#myart#art#i wanted to create a gif but I didn’t have time for learning how making one lmao#will byers has powers#< need this to be canon pls#at least something little#stranger things art#st5 scenarios#byler st5#fanart

everytime i feel bad and stressed about my life i remember that i might be in a troubling situation and having a bad time but im not season 4 fiona gallagher in the clink after leaving crack on the counter which my 3 year old baby brother happened to ingest resulting in a fatal near-death experience thats wracked me with never-ending guilt and forever altered my life
#this storyline was stupid you expect me to believe two-apples-tall liam gallagher came close to the crack AND managed to ingest it?#the crack which is lined up on the kitchen counter?#Also i don't believe that fiona would be irresponsible enough for liam to have been able to be close to the crack#that was an ooc moment and not like “its ooc cause thats the point shes going thru a tough time”#morelike “so ooc that it seems like a discrepancy that was overlooked for the sake of drama and shock value#as an older sister i feel like being watchful of your younger sibling if crack is in their general vicinity is an unstoppable instinct#its just not a plausible situation sorry like this is coming from someone who wholeheartedly embraces the realistic idea#of fiona falling short sometimes and being very human by struggling to consistently maintain her doting attentiveness#but anyways it's complicated cause Fiona clearly put it somewhere he cant reach#so how did he get access to it????#its like getting mad at a parent for putting a glass of wine on the counter#not comparing that to literal cocaine obviously this whole situation was nonetheless messed up#but just for some perspective... the writers were clearly doing cocaine themselves if they thought that#liam was bungee-jumping onto the counter and showing off his skills as an apparent budding olympics gymnast#not justifying anything but. listen.#the fact that it was on the counter FOR A REASONNN shows that fiona was careful to keep it out of reach and NOT do something insane like#putting it on the table#liam somehow magically having access to it defeats the purpose of it being on the counter.#if they really wanted for it to be believable that liam managed to snort it they should've put it on the table#but we already know that situation wouldn't be believable in its entirety cause we know that fiona would literally never leave it there#WHICH IS MY POINT. LIKE THIS SITUATION IS JUST ANNOYINGLY UNBELIEVABLE. FIONA WOULD NOT DO THIS AND HOW DID LIAM EVEN GET TO IT??#theres like 39482939 overlooked discrepancies just for the sake of getting to the shock#just to circle back Fiona would literally never let liam go near crack no matter how far gone and fucked up she was#I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I AM AN OLDER SISTER.#its just so UGHHHHH anyways obviously i still think in canon yeah Fiona was at fault shouldve been more careful and watchful#no matter how you look at it its clear that a risk like this just cannot be taken and she had to be blamed to an extent#but me personally? i reject it because it didnt feel natural to me at all there were 394939 other ways to frame a Fiona downfall#And i loved all the other ways her spiral was shown like getting messed up and ending up in Sheboygan#all the shit she got into with robbie + the impulsive urge to ruin the good thing she had going with mike#so human and believable and deeply flawed unlike the liam situation which was horrifically OOC and unrealistic

do i believe eddie brock is homosexual or even really into men. no. to be honest. however is he gay for that alien. one hundred fucking percent and it's canonical too
#at LEAST one time he has used he/him pronouns for the symbiote#and they are in love mike costa said so. that's his love. his darling.#so. man. hashtag homosexuality. gay stuff happening in there. can't attest to what's going on exactly but i know it's queer#eddie brock is into women and is also in a deep committed relationship with that slime from space#and when the space slime is around he really barely even looks at women. and the slime gets kinda peeved when he does#was gonna say 'looks at other women'. and you know what. yeah. when he looks at other women. except the symbiote is not a girl#my take on the symbiote is that it has No indentification with the human concept of gender. like i think it Gets it. it's picked it up#from living on earth all this time and seeing into people's heads. but it's like. not human.#same with curse words. it doesn't cuss usually. it knows the words and it could use them if it wants. but it doesn't really want#however. DISTINCT from that. i think the way that EDDIE BROCK sees/feels/interprets the symbiote is something more masculine#or at least more aligned with the male side of a gender binary.#partly because of self-identification with the thing that is literally a part of him. and partly cause he's gay for that thing#believer in. he/they/it symbiote. they/them for people who are speaking about it compassionately as if it's a being of its own.#it/its for people who do Not see it as its own person or whose perspective on it is heavily influenced by the fact that it's not human.#and he/him for eddie brock. for purposes not entirely clear to the rest of mankind but absolutely tied to something gay happening there#i have talked about the symbiote's pronouns so many times with so many people in different distinct conversations this week.#currently doing my job as the world's leading thinker on venom pronoun discourse (as in conversation and theorization. not argument)#venomposting#venom

they really have the gall to say they aren’t biased against byler when these are their reactions to both of these posts:
like c’mon bffr
#byler#not gonna tag this as anti m*leven because the last time i did that my post ended up on the actual m*leven tag#so tumblr clearly can't be trusted#but lol I don't much care for m*levin romantically but it just blows my mind how…#idk…let's say…passionate the st subreddit is about ensuring it's sanctity#like they're always like ‘i have no problem with people who ship byler my problem is with people who want mike to break up with el for him’#and idk it all just seems like a cover for what the actual problem you have against byler:#it's a gay ship involving a character you've projected all your straight fantasies onto (mike) and you feel that#because byler shippers ‘force’ people to admit it will be canon#it says something about your own sexuality#like please touch some grass and work on your homophobia because you can relate to a character who is gay#it's okay#you're not going to magically turn gay if mike ends up being gay#now I'm not saying byler shippers are all little angels btw#(we could probably do better if we just focused on enjoying the ship and the characters instead of arguing with homophobes)#but i definitely think the hate towards byler shippers is queerphobic (it's no secret most of us are queer in some way or another)#where the hate towards m*levin shippers (simply by the fact that it's a straight ship) is just not#and no I don't buy the argument that it's misogynist to want mike to leave el#(as if el's character arc hasn't been intrinsically tied to how misogyny and heteronormativity are#tied together under oppressive systems like the patriarchy#and that her idea of romance and boyfriends under it has been harmful to her independence and sense of self)

I agree with you so much about the El thing! I swear 99% of it stems from her 'getting in the way' of byler.
And the way they act like she would have no reason to feel hurt/ betrayed/ upset if byler were to get together.
Oh yeah. It absolutely stems from her getting in the way of Byler. No question.
Not every person who ships Byler believes or thinks or treats El like this, but I've seen it pretty rampant in the tag, especially when it comes to theories. (I want to note that I think it's a cute ship! I'm not a hater of it at all but I do hate how parts of the fandom treat it as some kind of moral imperative and some groundbreaking piece of rep. That's really turned me off the fandom to a degree) El existing and caring about Mike (and Mike caring about her) is portrayed as this existential threat to the ship and its potential "endgame" status, so it has to be belittled, which is just. Stupid. You don't have to tear characters (or their dynamic with others) down to have a ship. (I know it happens in other ships within the stranger things fandom too)
I also see theories that she never loved Mike or never loved him properly or romantically and he was miserable the whole time they dated and confused his own platonic feelings towards her. Her feelings towards both Mike and Will (and their feelings towards her!) Are downgraded and insulted. She's infantilized so much it's disgusting. When shippers act as though she doesn't understand her feelings and that they are strictly platonic towards Mike, and that Mike's own are also platonic and he's been confused the whole time, and he hasn't been able to articulate that or mixed them up (because he's always been in love with Will forever, they claim), they make it seem to me like they don't respect both El's growth as a character in understanding herself and embracing her individuality or Mike's care towards his friends.
And like you said, a lot of folks act like El would have no right to feel betrayed/hurt/upset if Will, now her brother, started dating her ex? Sometimes very soon after they break up? Who she obviously has loved and cared for deeply, who hurt her by being unable to communicate his feelings, and who has been consistently on her side with everything involving the Upside Down or lab. It seems as though these theorists think if El is anything but understanding and enthusiastic about it, she's unreasonable and clearly doesn't care about Mike or Will's happiness (If they even consider El as beyond her current relationship with Mike.) When that would be a natural reaction based on everything we've seen between them and just in general. Idk I just feel like El is done so dirty.
#el hopper#people stop infantilizing her in her relationship with mike! what is wrong with you!#she knows her feelings! explore something else or don't make it feel condescending if you explore how the lab fucked her up emptionally#yall i dont care what you ship but when you full volume say her bf has paternal feelings for her bc hes actually in love with his bff#as though that is a canon fact and at all supported by the show... i want to scream.#blr#stranger things#finda's rambles#findaanswers#anonasaurus

Kinda crazy to me that people will say that everyone needs to stick to canon all the time and then say that Mike could lift Will
#i get that you want that for some reason#but like#look at them#no he couldn’t#no amount of evidence that you're deciding means that mike is like secretly super strong or something#is going to change the fact that like every person is going to look at mike next to will and disagree#byler#< target audience

#genuinely makes me want to die#this movie is so much about money and love and sex and selling it and what it means for something to be real#and mike can love really love without getting anything from it without being paid#but scott is only on this scene as long as it serves his desire for rebellion and that's the heartbreaking part#the fact that he pays mike in the end is just such a betrayal to me. such a way to declare that it wasn't real#and at the same time it was real and he did care for mike in his most vulnerable moments#and you see that so much in this movie and in the book it's inspired by. the intimacy that can exist even in moments that are paid#truly a top 5 movie for me what else can i say

Mike *stares at Will's lips in like every scene*
Also Mike: I'm straight
Mike: Will is my homie
Michael: I love women
Wheeler child the second: Girls have nice kneecaps
Mikey: Boys are pretty, but in like a friend way
Mike Wheeler: I want to make out with Will, but like in a friend way
2nd Wheeler: I'm not gay, that's gross. I'm straight
Also him *still staring at Will's lips*
#im just saying#like he clearly wants something but has internalized homophobia#i kin mike so much and i cringe at this fact every day#stranger things#byler#mike wheeler#will byers#gay mike truther#gay mike wheeler

Ya'll catch the final rose ceremony at the end of s4?!
#byler#stranger things#'last nights episode ended on a cliffhanger with the audience left wondering who bachelor-mike would choose--'#'will he choose the one who walked around the rose delicately to stand with it framed neatly in the background between the two of them?--'#'or will he choose the one who bulldozed it?'#'all will be answered tonight on the series finale of bachelor apocalypse'#no but seriously is that flower in front of el cgi?#depending on how many takes this shot took... i don't think they'd have something like this occur unless they wanted it to#i know they hand picked flowers for these shots#but it's not like that rules out them using movie magic#especially in this case where it was apparently important enough for them to handpick in the first place...#meaning there is in fact some significance to it#i hope this shot puts the 'it's not a love triangle' allegations to rest#like idk why fans would rather believe the duffers are sorcerers who can do dozens of things coincidentally all fitting a specific narrativ#bc that would honestly be way more impressive to me than them just using basic film techniques and tropes lmao

we’re friends. we’re friends.
wrap up the analysis, folks, we did it.
#thinking about this and like—i love seeing analysis & appreciate the people that do it but the fact that we even need it anymore is wild#this trope is overused so much in media & in st itself. not only that but he’s more dramatic about it than any of the parallels#just. this. & that’s it. if they wanted to communicate that mike really did think of will as just a friend they’d do something else#byler#stranger things

So the Sole Survivor is definitely a synth Shaun had programmed for a specific purpose, even if they don't know it, right?
#IK they're not SUPPOSED to be in FO4 Cannon but. No this is my fucking truth for the main story sorry not sorry Bethesda#if you wanted me to think otherwise you should've tweaked some things lmfao. Let me have this it's enhancing my experience with Mike#My theory for this is he hoped this specific backstory would somehow lead to them being a more effective Corsier#& to take down the railroad given you basically have to go to them at some point to get to The Institute#because otherwise buddy what was the fucking PLAN??? Actually taking SOSU at face value buddy still what was the fucking PLAN#were you hoping that paternal feelings would carry you through the fact that you've helped build and uphold a society based on slavery??#Something they probably were propagandized to believe they were fighting AGAINST in their prewar life???? LMFAOOOO#genuinely do not see what was wrong with simple nonsentient bots as menial workers HOW does this shit advance humanity??#Bethesda give your main story more rewrites challenge apparently. At least I UNDERSTOOD the Enclave's motives in 3#The Institute still make 0 sense with their motivations etc. I've explored every nook and cranny talked to every npc I can. I DON'T GET IT.#fallout 4#fo4#fallout#kat plays fallout 4
