Since I love angst and drama and I’m in a stranger things mood imagine in season 5 the party are the only ones that die and in the last shot of the series it’s the empty basement of the wheelers with the dnd table all set up but the seats are vacant because the party is gone and the series ends the way it started. What if I start tweaking what then?

I know people are dragging the “it was all just their dnd game” ending theory but like imagine if this whole experience was hypothetically their “dnd” game and they died happy and fulfilled knowing that they got to experience their favorite game in real life.

mike's gonna get blamed for something that's not his fault again just you watch. he's gonna say something well meaning but clunky and lucas (recently traumatised and grieving someone who's not dead) is gonna pick a fight with him like he always does whenever Something Happens or mike's gonna try and help with the plans and dustin (recently traumatised, grieving someone who is dead) who got forced into mike's role of Plan Guy and was really stressed and now slightly territorial over it is gonna say something like "how would you know? you weren't even THERE" and all of a sudden it's mike's fault that the apocalypse is upon them because he dared to go on holiday (during which he got shot at and watched someone die and buried their body but we're ignoring his trauma today as usual) for a week when he didn't know anything was going to happen

scenarios I think about before going to bed: El finds out about the painting before Mike does and decides to break up with him but without telling him about the painting because she wants to protect Will's secret because he asked her to... initially Mike will be pretty sad and confused but two years pass and he's crushing hard on Will now lmao and then I think they should make him also have a fight with Lucas for something like in s1 and then Will is pulling away from him a little because he's trying to get over Mike romantically and at that point Vecna attacks Mike and puts him in some kind of mind torture loop where everyone leaves him behind and then he gets saved by Will that confesses everything about the painting and how he loves him

Unpopular opinion but we’ve already seen El and Will get along. We’ve heard her talk about what he’s doing in her letter, we saw him supporting her during her heroes presentation, we watched them hug after she escaped Brenner. Now, to really prove they’re siblings, they should fight. The classic super-petty, we-do-this-all-the-time sibling fight, and there must be people there to see it, and freeze. (Except Jonathan. He’s seen/moderated this type of thing so many times.) I’m talking Suzie’s-house type stuff. Bonus points if they already both have powers.

And THEN turn around and stand together like nothing serious happened when an adult gets angry, or someone else tries to fight, or there’s an inside joke that needs to be made. Let them be siblings!!! The Duffers are brothers, and they clearly know how to write it, looking at Lucas and Erica. This is my Willel ST5 Agenda

btw I think that Steve should get to actually properly meet Will in s5/have an Actual Conversation with him, especially with Robin present, so that he has to feel the full force of his guilt for what he said to Jonathan in s1 about how “I’m not even surprised what happened to your brother.” and calling Jonathan a queer. like not a a Steve-Will heart to heart but just more of a “Steve actually has a conversation with him just a casual one with other people there” thing.

make steve harrington look into the eyes of will byers suffering and struggling with his connection with henry and reflect on the fact that he was mocking will’s disappearance. make steve look at will and how kind and fun and loving he is and reflect on what he said!!!!!!! especially with Steve’s comments about Jonathan being like lonnie in s1? Steve meeting lonnie/seeing him in s5 (staring at all the clues that we’re gonna get lonnie content in s5) and realizing just How Much of a dick move it was to compare Jonathan to him, especially since Jonathan talks in s4 about how he’s afraid of ending up like his father.

not in a “make the lonnie moment about Steve” way but in a “steve never actually apologized to Jonathan for that shit and tbh I think he deserves to feel guilty about it and should apologize” way. like Jonathan taking the pictures of Nancy was wrong but Nancy and Jonathan sorted it out and Jonathan apologized but not only did steve Not apologize to Jonathan, the alley fight wasn’t about the pictures, it was about Steve’s jealousy and possessiveness over Nancy. He wasn’t trying to defend Nancy’s privacy or reputation, he was literally writing on buildings about her being a slut. Steve overstepped in the alley fight SO fucking much for NO fucking reason other than his own misogyny and bigotry and jealousy and never even apologized to Jonathan. i think that Steve should get to feel more guilt about this in s5 & actually see lonnie and how he acts and how much of a piece of shit he is & see how good of a brother Jonathan is to will and how he’s NOTHING like lonnie and also should be forced to look at Will’s sad puppy dog eyes and reflect on the fact that he made fun of Will’s abduction and assault AND his abusive home dynamic AND tried to smear the reputations of one of the few people who ever tried to protect will (jonathan) by calling him a pervert. LOOK INTO HIS BIG SAD EYES, STEVE!!!!! LOOK AT HIS MISERY AND THINK ABOUT HOW YOUVE MOCKED IT!!!

This isn’t me just blindly hating on steve bc I Do like him, but he was SO out of line in that alley scene and Jonathan deserves an apology!!!! like so what if jonathan threw the first punch, steve was not only slut shaming Nancy, but also comparing jonathan to his abusive father and mocking Will’s disappearance. Steve deserved that fucking punch and technically STEVE started the physical fighting too because he was the one physically pushing Jonathan.

Honestly i don’t think Mike will cheat on El in s5

I do agree that it’s realistic, i do agree that it’s possible but I also think that for multiple reason it won’t happen

First, even if ‘good’ queer representation is not the only representation we need, there is a lot of homophobia among stranger things fan/enjoyer so I don’t think à Byler kiss while mike and el are still together would be a good things, it’s realistic yes, but its also a serie that can have a lot of repercussions, cheating is something that hurt a lot, even when you don’t love or want to break up with the person that cheated on you, I hope stranger things, even if they do that, won’t share a cheater apologist message :/

But primarily I think El already know that Mike and Will are in love, i think she wanted to break up with Mike in s4 and I think she will break up with him before the time jump in s5 and that byler will be confirmed after time skip so I don’t think it will happen :´D

Every theories and opinion are interesting but I don’t think the serie should share a message like that, cheating isn’t okay, even if you are young, even if you are in a bad relationship, it’s okay to make mistake, it’s realistic, but I would hate it if my favorite ship send a message excusing cheating, even if I do like the idea of a forbidden byler kiss, the tension and mike saying « please » it would be cool, but I don’t want the homophobe to have another reason to hate on byler, I don’t want my favorite show to excuse cheating, and I don’t think it will happen
