el is not this baby, she uses violence as a way to deal with things and often cares about herself more than other. that doesn't make her a bad character or even a bad person, but people need to understand she's not perfect either.

In a normal day

In a normal day, Will could pretend that he’s not dying while he hears about Mike and his kinda adopted sister Jane. In a normal day, he could pretend that he’s just that brother and best friend that he pretends to be. In a normal day, he’s able to switch on and off his feelings just like that.

But today is not a normal day. He started the day off immediately with a nightmare. He couldn’t go back to sleep afterwards, and he couldn’t ask for help; since the three people he goes to have been basically avoiding him for a month now. El is hyper focused on Mike, all Jonathan does Is drugs; and Mike… is well- complicated. He clearly doesn’t care about his friendship because of El; and that’s fine for Will. But it makes these days all the harder, like always as soon as school is over El’s checking the mail to see if he has a letter from Mike. While Will follows his sister closely behind, and Jonathan is already speeding off with his friend to smoke.

Jane immediately giggled seeing a letter for her, and passed the rest of the mail to him. Despite his best efforts, he immediately gets disappointed when he doesn’t get the same treatment as El does. He walks to the door to hear the same chatter of his mom on the phone. Will’s only reaction or to sigh, and walk downstairs toward his room; never been happier that Jane’s room is all the way upstairs while he lives in the basement. He immediately runs to his room as soon as he was out of earshot, and sobs right into his pillow.

He can’t help the thoughts invading his mind. Calling him disgusting for being gay, and for being in love with his best friend. If they’re even friends anymore. Even if not, he’s still desperately in love with his sister’s boyfriend. He sobs and sobs knowing he’s completely alone, and knowing no one actually cares for him anymore. He only rejoined his family at dinner pretending it’s just a normal day.

hi, so awhile ago, or to be more accurate 4 months ago lol, i mentioned that i was working on a 20 minute video that analyzes mileven’s relationship. i gathered clips throughout the seasons that highlight the dynamic between mike and el. this video is byler proof that essentially doesn’t really focus on byler. making this made me realize how much of mike and el’s relationship is just DRAMA lol.

What is your opinion on the monologue? Count the script

I can’t rlly comment on if the monologue was truthful or not, but Mike contradicts himself a lot

When with Will he says finding El was “dumb luck” but he says it was the best day of his life during the monologue. Also he didn’t start the monologue until Will encouraged him which says something about his character imo, El definitely didn’t seem as inspired by it as i originally thought she would when i watched that scene for the first time.

Right after he says I love you El doesn’t talk to him in the cabin and idk it seems super unromantic to me.

Okay, I can't hold it in anymore. Here are my S5 predictions of how Will, Mike and El are going to act:

Will is going to be pretty chill (or try to be) but also at the same time batshit scared of all the weird things that Vecna might be saying to him, or just the fact that he's still connected to him. Still, I think he'll be a pretty badass main focus and overall a brave character. Also he has a gun.

Mike is gonna go back to how he was in s2, giving all his priority to Will, whilst also trying to prioritise El a bit to get their relationship back together. He's going to be super worried about Will and overall going to be a bit of a cheerleader. Obviously he'll have a ton of references with s2 and he'll be pretty pathetic even if he will probably have a few courageous moments.

El is going to go absolutely badass, she is going to be super cool, I would even dare say "2 cool 4 school" (I'm a sucker for dad jokes) . She's going to go a bit more solo, work on her powers a bit more and will be really concentrated on the mission while obviously having fun times with her friends and family. She is FINALLY going to officially dump Mike, but I think they'll have a really interesting speech when they do break up (but she's still gonna be low-key mad with him for the majority of the first episodes

And I do genuinely believe El is gonna die. 🤷(Nothing against her, she's one of my favourites, don't kill me plz)

something that really bothers me is that i NEVER see anyone treat s3 el the way we treat s3 mike. yes, mike was wrong for leaving dustin and being late to his meetup with his friends and we should acknowledge that. but we never talk about how el did the same thing. she left dustin too, and seemed pretty happy about it. she didn't care about her friends either but no one ever seems to talk about it
