i’m still stuck on nora’s “it's about a boy who shouldn't be alive, who couldn't be his own person, learning how to breathe without permission and live without it hurting” because even after every single draft she created, jean survived in the final one. he’s been through hell and back his entire life, having to put up with so many things that he shouldn’t have as a child, learning how to effectively protect himself instead of growing up like he was supposed to. he was sold off without a second glance and treated like the dirt on the bottom of a shoe, but now he gets his own story where he can finally heal and live and learn to love in ways that don’t end in pain.
despite the lack of canon content for him, jean holds such a special place in my heart and i’m so happy nora was able to find peace with this story and revisit it even ten years later to give the closure this character needed.
#like seriously this is amazing#i’m excited and scared but mostly excited for what’s to come#the fact that it’s called the sunshine court is not lost on me#🥲#jean moreau#all for the game#the sunshine court

It Was You
Kang Haerin x Fem Reader
Sequel of 『 Gaeguri 』
※ Recommend reading the previous one if you haven't
[ Synopsis ]
Y/n, Y/n, Y/n. Always on Kang Haerin's mind. She can't help but always wonder about you and the small things you do.
Fluff, Angst (a bit?) | Haerin's backstory
[ Word Count ]
2.9k
[ a/n ]
I wasn't planning on doing a sequel of Gaeguri but my birthday just came and I wanted to do something special(?) and my mind was minding at the moment, imaginations flooding so I knew I had to make one!!
ps. My bday was like a week ago lmao
Happy 17th to me! Yay <3
Haerin was never the social type and every person who met her understood that more than they understood their everyday lectures at school. But the word "never" might be too overstating.
The quiet girl who would peirce her gaze and flee away like the wind before you had noticed, used to laugh wholeheartedly while chasing her friends whenever they'd go to a nearby park and decide to play tag out of nowhere. She might've not been a radiating sunshine every time everywhere like little Mo Dani, but there wasn't a doubt that she was the next thing close to that. But even the so-called "sunshine girl" Danielle doesn't know this side of hers since Haerin had completely shut it down years ago.
The first day of 6th grade, the 6th time moving to another new place. It wasn't really helped when Haerin's dad's company assigned him to new places almost every year which he could've moved on his own but Haerin's mom insisted that "family should stick together"
So there she was from one place to another, almost every new school year it was always new faces. New faces that she felt like never getting used to. Determined at the first few times they moved, Haerin would do her best and open up to people, wanting to make new friends and have fun memories like she used to back at her original home place. But as it became the 4th and 5th, she began to wonder, what was the purpose of making friends when they'd soon become a past, a distant memory to her anyway? Haerin stopped trying, letting people come and go, not minding who would stay with her. Socializing was a lost cause is what Haerin had learned living her life and she stuck to it till high school.
Meeting Danielle was one of the most interesting things Haerin had experienced in a long time after she had shut down her natural beaming side. She was used to people leaving her. It was either they got bored of the girl for being quiet most of the time or they were dubious of her. Because most of the others would at least speak even if they were introverted but Haerin would just be silent, never starting a conversation, not uttering a word unless she had to. So when Danielle stayed by her side despite the girl not talking at all, she felt something strange stir up inside her. Haerins parents had reassured her that as soon as she had started high school, they would stop moving around, which the girl wished could've happened sooner but it was a thing that she had no control over, so she just nodded and accepted the situation in silence.
Haerin was walking her way to the gym for her usual basketball practice. But then she saw someone familiar from the sidelines, watching the other members practice with eager eyes, locked on each player moving in the court. It was none other than Y/n L/n. She knew Y/n's existence since way back because Danielle would casually bring the girl up during their conversations. Dani didn't even have to bring her up for Haerin to know because Y/n was well-known by the whole school. Her cheery personality and kind heart had already made her the heartthrob of the campus except, Y/n herself was a bit dense to realize that fact. How Danielle had portrayed her as "the sweetest soul on earth" and how the people around her smiled when they were with her, proved that Y/n indeed was an amazing person inside and out. And Haerin might or might not have thought of wanting to try and talk with her, just a tiny bit. But she could never admit nor say that out loud because somewhere deep down Haerin was still indecisive about opening up to people.
So Haerin was surprised when she was yapping about a particular crochet frog key holder and its origins to the Y/n L/n without realizing it. Not even a hi or hello but about a goddamn Banded Bullfrog. Unexpectedly, hearing Y/n's response made Haerin's eyes go wide. She knew about frogs because she had actually listened to Mr. Min's lecture when everyone was either sleeping it off or paying attention anywhere but in class. Half taken aback half astonished, Haerin's curiosity for Y/n had perked up making her continue their conversations without an awkward moment which was another new thing to Haerin because all she remembers is her former classmates from years ago stuttering being all awkward not knowing how to communicate with her.
Y/n's image had strongly imprinted on the girl's mind as she couldn't stop taking a glance towards the girl sitting on the bench. What if she suddenly leaves? Why was she even here in the first place? Y/n was a member of the school council and usually, they'd be busy pondering and staying in the council office for hours. Well, that really didn't mind as long as Haerin would find a way to see her again. She wanted to see the girl and talk to her again. Haerin didn't know how to describe it in words, but there was a feeling there that stirred up inside her. Sadly the girl had student council matters tomorrow which meant she couldn't come to their basketball practice and this might be the last time Haerin was going to see her. Mulling it over her mind Haerin had to quickly think of some way to interact with Y/n again. But before she could utter a word, the girl left the gym along with her other Aussie friend Pham Hanni.
2 hours. The basketball player who just finished practice, who was tired as hell debated on whether she should wait for 2 whole hours, and the answer was yes. Did she even have to think about it? Haerin didn't know how she could wait for someone after a whole tiring day but if she did know one thing, she could never wait for tomorrow to give the green crocheted frog she had a pair of to Y/n. Why she wanted to give it to her? Simple. So they could be friends. Haerin pondered on her thoughts the whole night. How do you actually make a friend? Heck, it's been years since she tried to make movements and she wasn't going to just casually go to Y/n and ask her "Will you be my friend?" like the 7-year-old Kang Haerin used to say with a cheeky smile on her face on a random kid at a park years ago. But she also couldn't ask anyone, even Danielle because the girl was busy with her cheer practice for their upcoming game, and even if Dani did make time for her, Haerin was too embarrassed to ask someone on "How to make friends" at the age of 17.
So the last thing that came to mind was the key holder they talked about hours ago. She had two so it totally wasn't a bother to give one to Y/n. And they'd match meaning that they're close, or going to be close... right? Haerin did not know a single bit about how this system works and it started to worry her, even frustrating her. She just wants to become close with Y/n, knowing her better and giving a crocheted frog didn't seem to be a perfect answer but at least it's something more than nothing... right?
Yes, it was definitely right.
Haerin had thought so, seeing the girl's big bright smile towards her as she thanked her for the frog. Wouldn't you call it a total win when you also get her number and get to walk with her home, yapping about the things you loved? For Haerin, it was like winning the lottery, and an hour of hard-core club practice plus 2 whole hours of waiting while daydreaming was totally worth it.
"Sweetest soul on earth" is more like the sweetest in the whole galaxy. Looking at the small brown not so bad crocheted frog key holder Y/n just gave Haerin earlier, the girl couldn't help but smile again for the millionth time. She took the time and did something she had never done before just because Y/n knew how the girl loved frogs and how Haerin had messed up the color of yarn she used for her two-pair crocheted frog. What's happening? Haerin satisfiedly huffed and returned to her practice, with a smile on her face which the other members couldn't help but gawk or smirk at. "She's such a simp" The captain of the women's basketball team Shin Ryujin mumbled while shaking her head slightly with a chuckle, and beside her was The captain of Cheerleading Jang Wonyoung who had seen the whole interaction, smiling as she cooed "Awwh" watching the scenery happen in front of her like a rom-com.
Months had passed since the interaction at the gym and all Haerin could think about was Y/n. It's not like she didn't constantly think about her before, she did, it's just that thinking about her became a habit now. Looking at a pretty flower, she'd think about Y/n, the moon glowing beautifully at night would make her want to snap a pic and send it to Y/n telling her "It reminded me of you" Suddenly every song she listened to, Y/n would casually linger on her mind like she was finding her in every lyric she heard. All those romance movies Haerin binge-watched with Danielle had become her favorite when she used to think of them as tacky, never expecting to grow fond of them after some time. Almost everything Haerin did, somehow Y/n's curved lips and slightly squinted eyes making that warm smile that Haerin adored the most would just come to the girl's mind before she could even notice.
"You're in love with her Haerin-ah" Danielle stated with a tone like it was the most obvious thing ever alongside a childish giggle, looking at the girl in front of her confused to hell about what she was talking about. "In love...? You mean like those movies we watched where the two will―" "Kiss? Yes, Haerin-ah that's what I'm talking about" Suddenly it felt like Haerin's mind stopped working for a flashing second causing the girl to freeze at the spot which made Danielle giggle more. "But I never thought of kissing Y/n" Not until now. Feeling her cheeks become warm, a fading shade of crimson red had tinted its way. But how could Haerin know that? Her mind was occupied. "Well, love comes in different types so it's not like everything is about those movies" Haerin snapped off from whatever she was thinking and shifted her gaze back at Danielle who was eating her carrots as they spoke. "From hearing what you've described Y/n right now―" Danielle ponders a bit while munching her veggie sticks. "Even if it wasn't like those we watched, one thing for sure is you have feelings for her" What the Aussie girl had just said made Haerin think. "How can you tell that? What if it was actually platonic?" "You seriously did not just say that when you blushed when I mentioned the kiss, Kang Haerin" Danielle chuckled, looking at the once again red-faced girl in front of her with a 'That's what I thought' look as she continued to munch her veggie sticks.
Being straightforward with things was something Haerin was good at. Danielle had even pointed out that it was her talent, with her piercing gaze, monotone voice, and blank expression blurting things out. But today, or at least for now, Haerin had wondered where her so-called "talent" went when she needed it, mostly to cover up how she was lowkey panicking inside with her heart in a beating mess. Yesterday after talking with Danielle, the girl had made a plan. A simple plan which is asking Y/n how she feels about Haerin. If it's close to what Haerin was feeling, then "100% sure she likes you back" Danielle's voice rang through her mind as she took a glimpse of Y/n who was walking by her side, talking about something Haerin couldn't take a grasp of because her mind was full of how to bring up the conversation she had been thinking since last night.
"You seem lost in your thoughts" Y/n broke out a soft chuckle seeing Haerin startle a bit on her suddenly peeking at the girl's face. "Sorry, I was dazing off..." Humming a response Y/n faced front again as they continued to walk. "Wanna share it with the rest of the class?" "Stop, you sounded like Mrs. Choi right now" After sharing some moments of laughter, a comfortable silence flowed between them with both girls lingering their gazes on each other. "... I have something to ask..." Fidgeting her fingers a bit, Haerin nervously faced Y/n. Sure the girl might be a bit dense here and there but Y/n wasn't that dense to not pick up the tension that flowed between them. "Yeah?" Stopping her tracks, Y/n responded lightheartedly maybe trying to ease the tension, or maybe trying to ease her heart which was a beating mess as well. "Well, I wanted to know—" Haerin silently cursed herself for hearing her voice crack up a bit. She didn't like any of this. Feeling like her heart would bust out of her chest any moment, her palms feeling sweaty because of the nerves perking up, her mind spinning millions of questions of doubt, and her voice felt like it was stuck in her throat, not being her usual self but still wanting an answer as if it depended on her life or something. This was the moment and there was no way of going back. So suck it up and just ask her was the last thing the girl had thought in mind before finally making up her mind as she groaned, repeating her words, this time with a more firm and clear tone. "I wanted to know how you feel about me"
"How I... feel about you?" "Yeah—" Haerin fidgeted with her hands for a moment, trying to gather her thoughts. She took a deep breath and let it out slowly. "It's just... I don't know. I guess I've just been thinking about how I... feel about you" Haerin muttered, her voice barely above a whisper. "I like being with you, Y/n. Time really flies when I spend time with you and, when I'm not with you all I think about is you and- I... I kind of miss you a lot at those times..." Speaking bit by bit, her voice quivered slightly as words came out, each reflecting the emotions she had been keeping all this time. Then she remembered the first conversation you both made on that day at the gym and couldn't help but tug a small smile on her lips. "You taught me how to open up again when I thought I couldn't" Haerin then focused her gaze at Y/n, without it wavering a single bit. "I like it when I'm around you and I never want that to change. I care about you. More than I want to admit." Haerin still couldn't believe she was actually admitting her feelings out loud, but the words had already spilled before she could stop herself. "What I'm trying to say is— I have feelings for you Y/n. And I was wondering if you felt the same..." Haerin awkwardly chuckles, avoiding your gaze as she looks down fidgeting her hands once again before she mutters softly. "I want you to feel the same..."
No one's ever totally confident about confessing and Haerin wasn't an exception. What if she blurted out the wrong thing and messed things up? What if it was all just Haerin feeling this way and it's actually platonic for her? Endless fears, worries, and questions swirling through Haerin's mind. But that all wiped off when she felt Y/n holding her hand and gently squeezing it which made Haerin fix her gaze back at the girl to see her eyes softly droop in adoration. "Is it a good timing to say that I also feel the same about you?" The relief Haerin had felt from that one sentence was incomparable to any other. Everything was going on so well it was almost scary like this could be some dream she was dreaming and the fear of waking up to a lonely reality was crepting up. But this was all real and Haerin knew that well when she felt the warmness and the floral-fruity scent of Y/n as she embraced her, tightening her grip on the girl's waist as they lingered on the wholehearted moment, both wanting nothing more than just to stay like this forever. Pulling out from the hug along with some soft giggles and laughs, Haerin fixed her gaze on the girl and they met once again. The distance between them was closing without even realizing it, the sudden urge to just lean in and—
Huh? The nose??
Why did I kiss her there??
Meeting each other's eyes again with both confused and surprised expressions, Y/n burst out laughing while Haerin looked down with the heat rising to her face, flushing in a shade of red as she groaned in embarrassment.
"Sorry, I don't know what I was doing- I just- ugh" Stammering with her words, Haerin let out a sigh while Y/n giggled softly, holding her hand and squeezing it tightly one last time before looking at her with the same gaze full of adoration. "It's okay... let's take things on our own pace, hm?" Walking side by side with hands intertwined, the couple chattered lively on their way home.
Haerin wasn't much of a social type. Not until she found the one she wanted to share her smiles and laughter along with her favorite frog trivia.

Forged in Fire: A New World pt2
A/n: this can be read by itself but here is the link to part one in case you would like more context. It is loosely inspired by 'I stole the male lead's first night' I wrote this because I could not for the life of me sleep, so if there's errors then I apologize, also my requests are open!
Summary: You wake up in a strange place :) Azriel x Reader
Warnings: Mostly crack, Angry!Azriel, lots of cursing
WC: 3.1k
Taglist: @kksbookstuff
*****
You had failed to realize some rather... critical things that had led up to this moment.
For one, you couldn’t read the Prythian language, though you could speak it. Then there was your complete lack of understanding regarding the social caste system and etiquette. And, of course, visiting that suspicious fortune teller at the Renaissance fair three weeks ago—an absolute steal at five dollars—had somehow landed you in this otherworldly situation.
It was your third day in the Night Court. You sat by the garden, surrounded by beautiful flowers and basking in the sunshine. But the serene setting did nothing to calm the storm of your thoughts, especially with the absolutely terrifying shadowsinger sitting next to you. You tried not to lust over him, but Azriel was a sight to behold. The book did not do him justice, nor did the fanart. In person, this male was an absolute lethal god—lean muscles, absolute slut hips, and an ass that could stop traffic. You tried not to drool as you sipped your tea at the table, attempting to focus on the floral beauty around you. Azriel was reading reports, occasionally sending glares your way.
You knew he hated the Vanserras, and he probably didn’t enjoy this babysitting duty when he could be spending time with Elain or doing spy things. Until he finally spoke.
“What the actual fuck, Y/n?” His cold tone sent a shiver down your spine. You gulped the sip of tea you’d just taken, staring into his golden eyes that seemed like shards of ice. What did you do?
You just stared at him. How could you respond to that? How could you respond to the cold, golden gaze he was sending your way, or the way he kept playing with the ring on his... wedding finger?
Fae don’t do human weddings.
“Wait, you’re married?” you stuttered out, looking at him with wide eyes. He scoffed, smirking at your shock.
“Yeah, to you. We got married right before the war, in a private ceremony. We’re mates, for fuck’s sake.” Azriel was furious. He stood up, his wings flaring out in anger. His shadows twirled around your wrists, locking you onto the chair as he moved closer to you.
“How utterly convenient you lost your memory, you have a heart condition that you never told me about, and I don’t know the fact that you visited a witch right before our ceremony?” His tone was dangerously low, like the calm before a storm. He wasn’t yelling—no, that would draw attention. His words were like shards of ice, cutting through the air with a menacing chill.
“How come you didn’t say anything? I mean, I arrived like three days ago,” you said, trying to sound casual. Maybe you could play this off. Everyone here thinks you have amnesia, that you are definitely not from another world and have entered the world of a popular fae smut series. You got this.
Okay, maybe you don’t got this, as Azriel moved closer to you, tilting your chin up to look at him as he gazed down at you. You were honestly surprised you hadn’t pissed yourself yet. They don’t call him the spymaster for no reason. “What was I supposed to say?” he started, voice dripping with sarcasm. “I haven’t told my family that I was mated to a maid for the Vanserra family, who now turns out to be their sister.” Whoever’s body you had just taken over, can have their body back and deal with this mess.
You pleaded to yourself mentally as he continued. “You’re just so full of surprises. Honestly, it’s really my fault, to begin with,” Azriel said with a bitter laugh. “I mean, I should have investigated my mate, but I figured, no, my mate wouldn’t lie to me and then after the war not talk to me for three weeks because she nearly died at Autumn’s camp, which I didn’t even know you were there.” Oh, he was mad. Heated. The absolute rambling this male was doing—fuck, you should pay for his therapy for all of this.
“I’m sorry that I don’t remember you,” you began, feeling a strange tug in your heart—was that the mating bond? Perhaps mentioning it would make the lethal predator before you less mad. “I still feel the bond, though,” you whispered, pulling Azriel from his heated rage fit.
Azriel’s eyes flickered with something you couldn’t quite place, a mixture of anger and pain. “I just wish... you would have told me all of these things, that you would have prepared me for all of this,” he began, waving his hands as if showcasing the whole mess. “Rhysand knows we’re mates. I told him when you arrived.” Azriel scoffed, his bitterness evident. “I was surprised when it was you, standing there looking so shy, the way you bowed your head towards us. A Vanserra would never do that. That was the first sign that I knew you actually had lost your memories. That you were different.”
The rambling seemed to continue.
Azriel ran a hand through his dark hair, frustration evident in every movement. “You think I haven’t been trying to figure this out? Trying to understand why my mate would forget me? Why she would hide things from me? This isn’t just about the past three days. This is about trust. About knowing that my mate, my partner, would keep secrets that could get her killed.”
“I never wanted to hide anything from you,” you said softly, feeling the weight of his words. “I don’t know why this happened, but I’m here now. And I’ll do whatever it takes to make it right.”
Azriel’s expression softened slightly, the anger in his eyes dimming but not disappearing. “You have no idea how much I want to believe you,” he said, his voice low and filled with an emotion that made your heart ache. “But it’s going to take more than words. We’ll start with that witch, and we’ll go from there. But until then, no more secrets. No more lies. Agreed?”
“Agreed,” you replied, feeling the gravity of the situation settle heavily on your shoulders. You were in over your head, if you had to the chance to talk to whoever’s body you took over. You were going to scream and shout at them for this.
Azriel’s wings folded back slightly, and he released your wrists from the shadows, though the wariness didn’t leave his eyes. “We need to talk to that witch, one of the spies said they found the location”
You nodded as he took your hand in his, his wedding ring brushing against you. A reminder that you were not the one he fell in love with. Within moments shadows surrounded the two of you, as you appeared in front of a shop with a cauldron shaped sign and an old oak door. A sign that said ‘Come in: We can change your life! No Refunds!” hung on the door.
Azriel gave you a look that said ‘Really? You went here of all places for magic’ he pushed open the door for you, you trailed behind. What was peculiar was that the lady looked exactly like the lady from the renaissance festival.
The witch’s eyes flicked up as you entered, her lips curling into a knowing smile. “Ah, welcome back, dear,” she said, her voice smooth, like an eerie melody. “I see my spell worked.”
Azriel gave you a confused look as you pulled him outside with you. “We will be right back,” you said to the witch before bringing Azriel outside. “Okay, you said no secrets, right?” The male simply nodded with a confused expression. You continued, your voice hesitant as you looked around to make sure nobody was walking the empty street. “I am not from this world. I am from a modern world where you and your family are a part of a hit faerie smut series.” You said it so bluntly that you didn’t notice the way his face looked. The look was unreadable.
“You’re saying that I am a book character?” he stated. You knew you sounded crazy and were praying that Azriel was not going to send you straight to the dungeons.
You nodded, feeling a sense of desperation. “Yes, and I don’t know how I got here. I visited a fortune teller at a Renaissance fair, and the next thing I knew, I was here, in this body, with no memories of this world.”
Azriel's expression shifted from confusion to something more guarded. “And you expect me to believe this? That my entire life, my family, everything I know is just... fiction in your world?”
“I know it sounds insane,” you pleaded, “but it's the truth. I’m not trying to deceive you. I just want to figure out how to fix this, how to make things right.”
He took a deep breath, his golden eyes searching your face for any sign of deceit. “If what you're saying is true, then this witch is our best chance at getting answers. But if you’re lying...”
“I’m not,” you interrupted. “I swear, Azriel. I want to find out what happened just as much as you do.”
He held your gaze for a long moment before nodding curtly. “Fine. Let’s see what she has to say.”
You both re-entered the shop, the witch’s eyes gleaming with interest. “Had to have a little chat, did you?” she asked, amusement in her tone.
“Yes,” Azriel said, his voice cold and authoritative. “And now we need answers. She claims she’s from another world, one where our lives are just stories. Can you confirm this?”
The witch’s smile widened. “Ah, yes. A classic case of cross-reality displacement. Rare, but not unheard of. The spell I cast was meant to fulfill her old self’s deepest desire, and it seems that desire was to escape her mundane life and find herself in a world of magic and adventure.”
“Old self?” you asked, your voice tinged with urgency.
The witch shrugged delicately. “The actual Vanserra. When I spoke to you, she had already set the spell in motion. It was only a matter of time for you both to flip-flop.” She said this in an amused tone, showcasing with her hands. “Your souls were swapped. Thankfully, you both existed in two different universes. At least you still look like yourself!” She laughed and muttered under her breath, “That’s not always the case.”
Azriel’s grip on your hand tightened, his expression darkening. “So you’re saying the Vanserra soul is now in another world?”
“Precisely, a human world to be exact,” the witch replied, still smiling. “Two souls, two worlds. It’s a perfect balance, really.”
You felt a wave of panic rising. “How do we reverse it?”
The witch’s eyes gleamed with a mix of pity and amusement. She moved to a back room behind a tacky purple curtain. “Now let’s check on the actual Vanserra using this doll.” She returned, holding up a rather awful sewing job of a cat with two buttons of separate sizes for eyes. “Ah, just as I thought, the Vanserra accepted the swap. You see, when she came in here, she would claim she was bored of this life. Bored of the mundane. She wanted a life of change, so I gave her your world. It’s more human, so of course, a shorter life span, but your world is rather peaceful.”
Azriel’s eyes narrowed. “What do you mean she accepted the swap? And what does that mean for Y/n?”
The witch shrugged delicately. “It means that once one soul accepts the swap, the other must accept as well. The balance must be maintained. The Vanserra is content in your world, living a new life, free from the burdens she faced here. She has accepted her new reality.”
The witch handed you the poorly sewn cat doll. “You could always communicate with her via your dreams. Given the situation, she hasn't reached out, perhaps hoping you would accept this world. To do this, you must sleep with this cat.” She gave you a look that said, 'You want my help or not, kid?' You stayed silent as you accepted the creepy, poorly sewn cat doll.
Azriel eyed the doll skeptically, then asked, “So she can talk to her in this dream state, but if the other has accepted, what does that do?”
The witch shrugged. “Provides closure, knowing that you are stuck in this world. You said you wanted adventure, right, kid? Well, here it is.” She gestured grandly with her hands.
You began, your tone edged with annoyance. “I wanted adventure as in, I don’t know, changing my degree or winning the lottery. Not my soul being transported to another world.” You gestured to Azriel. “Let’s say I do accept this role. What do I have to do?”
The witch hummed thoughtfully. “You must do five cartwheels, a handstand while saying ‘I choose this life,’ and then your soul will be sealed, and both eyes on the cat will match.”
Azriel gave her a look of utter disbelief before turning to you. “Can you even do a cartwheel?”
You nodded confidently, flexing your non-existent muscles at him. “Absolutely. I’m practically a gymnast,” you said, trying to lighten the mood.
The witch clapped her hands. “Wonderful! Now, if you’re ready, you can begin. The sooner you accept, the sooner you can start living your new life fully.”
Azriel rolled his eyes, clearly annoyed but resigned. After the witch had swindled the two of you out of two hundred gold, he kept your hand in his as he winnowed you both to the Healer’s cottage.
“We’re going to bed and getting this whole thing situated,” he muttered under his breath, guiding you down the hallway to your bedroom.
“What do you mean ‘we’?” you began, but he interrupted, “I am going to sleep next to you to make sure that you are safe and sound.” The look he gave you was one of ‘Don’t test my patience.’
As you both lay in bed, you stared at the ceiling, trying your best to sleep but unable to quiet your mind. The song lyrics of Kendrick Lamar’s "Certified Lover Boy, Certified Pedophile" played on repeat in your head. Azriel, too, was wide awake, his presence a mixture of comfort and tension.
Slowly, sleep began to take you. You found yourself being led by a black cat into the dreamscape.
In the dreamscape, you met someone who could have been your twin, except she had the most perfect posture known to man, the exclusive Vanserra glare, and was wearing a ballgown.
“So, you’re the one who took my spot?” she said, looking you up and down. Surprisingly, you were wearing modern clothes in the dreamscape.
You nodded. She continued, “Your world is... perfect. I mean, I don’t have to worry about beasts or my abusive father. I have my own apartment, music that can play at my fingertips. Your world may not have magic, but it is... magical.” She sounded amazed by your everyday life, one that now seemed mundane to you, having always wished for fantasy and adventure.
“But you hurt your mate,” you stated angrily, remembering the pained look on Azriel’s face when he learned that the real Vanserra had accepted her life in a human world, that this world was not enough for her.
The Vanserra’s eyes softened with a hint of regret. “I didn’t want to hurt anyone. I was just so desperate to escape. My life here was a constant battle, a fight for survival. I didn’t realize how much pain I would cause him... or you.”
“You could have at least tried to work things out,” you countered, your voice trembling with emotion. “Azriel is suffering because of this. He loves you—loved you—and now he’s trying to figure out what to do with me, someone who’s not even from his world.”
She looked away, guilt evident in her expression. “I’m sorry. I didn’t think about the consequences. I was selfish. But I can’t go back now. I don’t want to go back. Your world is everything I dreamed of.”
“And what am I supposed to do?” you asked, feeling a mix of anger and helplessness. “I’m stuck here, in a world I don’t understand, with a mate who’s heartbroken and confused.”
The Vanserra met your gaze, a newfound determination in her eyes. “You have to make this life your own. Embrace it, as hard as it may be. Azriel deserves happiness, and if I can’t give it to him, then maybe you can.”
You took a deep breath, preparing yourself for the ritual. “I guess this is it,” you said, looking around the dreamscape one last time before focusing on the task at hand.
One cartwheel. You felt the shift in the air, the magic beginning to weave around you.
Two cartwheels. Your movements became more confident, your resolve strengthening.
Three cartwheels. The world around you seemed to blur, the dreamscape fading into the background.
Four cartwheels. The energy of the ritual thrummed through you, a pulsing beat that matched the rhythm of your heart.
Five cartwheels. As you landed, you transitioned into a handstand, your voice steady as you declared, “I choose this life.”
The Vanserra twin gave you a smile, a mixture of relief and encouragement in her eyes. “Good luck, Y/n,” she said softly, her form beginning to dissolve as the dreamscape faded completely.
When you woke up, you surprisingly had tears in your eyes. Azriel was already awake, gently stroking the hair out of your face. The poorly sewn cat doll was clutched in your hands, and its once mismatched eyes now both gleamed evenly.
“Are you okay?” Azriel asked, his voice soft and filled with concern. His touch was tender, a stark contrast to the intimidating persona he often projected.
You nodded, still processing the weight of what had happened. “I... I talked to her. The real Vanserra. She’s happy in my world. She’s not coming back.”
Azriel’s expression was a mix of emotions—relief, sadness, and something else you couldn’t quite place. “So, this is really happening,” he murmured, his thumb brushing away a stray tear from your cheek. “You’re here to stay.”
You nodded again, feeling the truth of it settle deep within you. “Yes. I’ve accepted this life. I’m going to try and make it work. For both of us.”
He sighed, a sound that was half-resignation, half-hope. “Then we’ll figure this out together.”
You looked into his eyes, feeling the bond between you grow stronger with every passing moment. “We will,” you agreed, a sense of determination filling you.
Azriel pulled you into his arms, holding you close. “Welcome home, Y/n,” he whispered, his breath warm against your ear.

Hey Jealousy pt. 2
Gifs aren’t mine
Pairing: Matt Murdock & Billy Russo x F! Reader
Warnings: Pretty tame. PG-13. Love triangle sort of, little bit violent, swearing, tiny bit of smexy time, definitely not a 3-way! I can’t even write regular smut let alone throw an extra person in there. The warnings will be the same for all 4 parts even if some aren’t in the other parts (does that make sense?) I don’t fuckin know
Word Count: 2.8k-ish
Summary: Continuation from part 1. The aftermath of your date with Billy Russo and Matt trying to find out more information about your mystery man. Billy stops by your apartment after work, couple of surprises.
A/N: Part 2 of 4. The title is a Gin Blossoms song. It doesn’t follow any particular storyline. As always, comments are always welcome and thank you for reading! I appreciate you! ❤️
Read part 1 HERE
Jumping from rooftop to rooftop, Matt followed Billy to a parking garage but lost him as soon as he got in his car and drove off.
He then spent the weekend trying to find out something about the mystery man who was spending time with you, he couldn’t do any of that without a name though.
He had heard the name “Billy” when he was listening from the rooftop the night you went out on your date, but no last name.
His jealousy was getting in the way of him thinking straight and left him wondering why? Why did you go out with someone else? Why did you being out with another man make him so anxious and insecure?
Matt couldn’t stand it and you being out with someone else really solidified the fact that even though the two of you hadn’t been together long, he loved talking to you, he loved making you laugh, he loved touching you and kissing you—he just loved…you.
He knew that now but he needed help. Something about this guy didn’t sit well with him but he still needed a name and since you weren’t taking his calls, he called the only person who could possibly help him out.
“Goooooood morning, sunshine! Why are you calling me so early on a Saturday?”
“Foggy, I need your help with something—it’s important.”
Monday’s lunch break was spent in the courthouse’s cafeteria. In between bites of your salad, you were trying to finish going over some notes before going back to the office to type them up. A friendly familiar voice caused you to look up from your papers.
“Hey y/n!! Do you ever stop working?” You wondered if Foggy was ever in a bad mood.
“Good day to you, Mr. Nelson. How goes the battle?” You said as you looked up at him with a warm smile on your face.
“Ah you win some, you lose some, you know how it goes…I’m glad I ran into you though.” His expression turned neutral as he pulled up a chair. “I was wondering what the deal is with you and Matt. I thought the two of you were, ya know, a thing?”
He sounded concerned and your heart fluttered at the mention of Matt’s name.
“I know both of you have been working a lot and haven’t had a chance to see each other in a while but the rumor goin’ around is you met a tall, handsome stranger here the other day and also went out on a date with him.”
When Foggy said that, you were a little surprised but not really because this place was just one giant gossip ring, like any other workplace.
“Oh...you mean Billy?”
“Yeah what’s his last name, I might know him.” Foggy asked with a straight face.
“Russo…Billy Russo.” You answered.
“Yeah ok I don’t know him, anyway—Matt found out about that ya know. He called me over the weekend.”
Your whole body went numb and the light in your eyes disappeared. The light was replaced with guilt. “Was he jealous, Foggy?”
Foggy’s eyes widened and he threw his hands up. “I’d say jealous is the understatement of the year!! His voice was pure rage and I had a hard time calming him down.”
Your fight or flight mode kicked in and your voice was sad but firm. “Yeah well maybe I wouldn’t have gone out on a date with Billy if that court reporter wasn’t all over Matt at Josie’s a couple weeks ago.”
Foggy looked confused. “How do you know about that, you weren’t there?”
Tears burned the back of your eyes “I wanted to surprise Matt and show up for the standing date you all have but when I looked through the window and saw her with her hands all over him, I—I left.”
He moved his chair a little closer to you and rested his hand on top of yours. “Ok, number one she’s had a thing for Matt for a while and just showed up uninvited and number two, you obviously didn’t stick around long enough for Matt to tell her about you.”
He reached into his briefcase to pull out his phone.
“He needs to know about this and it’s just a big misunderstanding—“
You interrupted him “No, no Foggy I don’t want you to tell him, I—I need to do it. I was hurt and angry and I—“ A tear ran down your cheek. “I miss him…I really miss him.”
A tiny smile emerged across your face. “Jeez, all this for a man I haven’t even slept with yet—oops, sorry Foggy, that’s way too much information. I’m sorry.”
He laughed a little and said “He really likes you too, y/n. I’d even go as far as to say he’s already in love with you. He’s been miserable since you stopped taking his calls and quite frankly, he’s been a total grouch monster and Karen and I are tired of dealing with it, that’s why you have to tell him, our sanity depends on it.”
That made you laugh and your tears went away. “Well thank you for telling me all of this, Foggy. I shouldn’t have jumped to conclusions, it just was hard not to.”
“Sooooooo, are you gonna call him? I’m not leaving here until you say yes!” He sounded so excited.
“Yes, I will—later today when I get home from work.”
Foggy was satisfied with your answer, the two of you said your goodbyes and he left, however he didn’t go very far, just far enough away where you couldn’t hear him and called Matt.
“I just want you to know that I felt incredibly dirty asking her all those questions but I got the name you wanted—Billy Russo.”
Matt said “thank you, Foggy.” And he hung up.
Trying to dig up dirt on Billy wasn’t going well—on paper he was clean. His service records, his company, Matt was coming up empty. There had to be something—or did he just want there to be something?
Now you were sitting alone with your thoughts, the two men heavy on your mind. Hopefully Matt would understand when you explain that the reason you went out with Billy was because you thought he was out with someone else but then your thoughts moved on to Billy and how much you liked him too but he needed to know how you feel about Matt.
Before you agreed to go out with Billy, you explained the situation with Matt and you didn’t quite know what was going on and then you heard Billy’s voice in your head “You’d never have to guess what our relationship status is if you were with me.” He’s not wrong, you shouldn’t have to guess and both of you should have talked about it and not kept it inside but it’s too late for that now, you needed to talk to Matt, and soon.
After clocking out for the day, feeling exhausted, you made your way home, and all you wanted was to kick your shoes off and relax with a glass of wine. You had every intention of calling Matt when you got home, however the wine induced nap you had got in the way of that phone call and you woke up to the sound of your phone ringing. Hoping it was Matt, you turned the phone over and looked at the screen “Billy Russo” and your stomach dropped, just out of pure nerves but you answered anyway. “Hey Billy, how are you?”
“Well hey there beautiful…I got worried for a minute when you didn’t answer my text.”
You didn’t hear the text notification while you were sleeping. “Oh my goodness, I am so sorry, I fell asleep after I got home and I didn’t hear my phone.”
You could tell he had a smile on his face. “Well I was in the neighborhood and I thought I’d drop by and say hello, I’m downstairs.”
“Oh you are?” Genuinely surprised, you sat up on the couch and then got up and went to the door. “Ok, well come on up, I’ll buzz you in.”
I guess the phone call to Matt will have to wait.
Billy brought over beer and some food from the bar close to your apartment, they made the best chicken wings. After your first date, he seemed to have picked up that maybe you weren’t a super fancy restaurant kind of girl and you were happy just eating bar food and drinking beer.
You greeted him at the door with a smile and wearing your fuzzy slippers and lounge pants, so embarrassing. He walked through the doorway, kissing your forehead and asking you…”Would you mind holding this stuff for a minute while I take my shoes off?” He’s making himself at home? Or is he just being polite as to not track dirt into your apartment?
Matt hadn’t even been up to your apartment yet and here you were with another man that you’d only been on one date with, what were you doing?!!
But you ignored your inner voice. “Go ahead and have a seat on the couch, I’ll get some plates and glasses.”
He took the food and beer back from you after removing his shoes…”No, no let me help you.”
You apologized for your appearance. “I’m sorry for the way I look, obviously I wasn’t expecting to see anyone after I got home.”
Billy laughed a little—“Don’t apologize, I think you look adorable.”
After finishing a drink, enjoying the food, and asking each other how the day was, you could feel your cheeks getting warm as you asked him—“What made you come over here, Billy?”
“I just wanted to see you, is that wrong?” His voice was low and tender and he grinned like a Cheshire cat.
“You did?” You were always so surprised when anyone wanted to actually be around you. Billy was so handsome, your self-esteem wasn’t very high, and you felt like you didn’t quite measure up.
“Why is it so hard for you to believe that I really like you and want to spend time with you?” He asked with a puzzled look on his face.
Always the skeptic, you still felt the need to say “You weren’t just in the neighborhood though, were you. ANVIL isn’t anywhere close to my apartment and I—“
But he cut you off with his lips brushing against yours, both hands cupping the sides of your face, you closed your eyes and dissolved completely into his kiss. He leaned back onto the arm of the couch, you were on top of him now, allowing his tongue access to your mouth and yours intertwining with his.
Stroking his beard with your thumbs, you could still taste the beer on his soft but firm lips and then shifted your hands from his face to his hair so you could brush your fingers through it. One of his hands moved to the back of your head, into your hair and you went to push his suit jacket off of his shoulders.
What were you doing? What about Matt? The little voice in the back of your head was nagging you but Billy felt so good. His other hand progressed from your cheek to the hem of your shirt and you felt his long slender fingers trace up and down your lower back.
Nervously, you loosened his tie and started to unbutton his dress shirt while his hand traveled from your hair, down your back, and around to the front of your lounge pants. His fingers started to untie them but before he could feel just how wet you were for him, you snapped out of the spell you seemed to be under and felt like you had to come clean.
“Billy…Billy.” You whispered in his ear as his lips went down to your neck and you pulled away from him. “I’m sorry—I need to stop.” He looked completely deflated as you were fighting back tears, you felt awful.
“Billy, I’m sorry but I can’t do this.”
He wasn’t angry, he seemed genuinely concerned, as he caressed your shoulders.
“Ok, ok—can you tell me what’s wrong? Did I move too fast?”
You moved a stray piece of hair away from his face and grazed his beard with your thumb. “Oh no, no, it’s nothing you did. It has everything to do with me, I’m sorry.”
With his long legs still on either side of you, the two of you sat up slowly and he placed one leg on the floor and ran his fingers through his hair and he looked at you through his long thick lashes while you talked.
“Remember that ‘complicated’ relationship I mentioned? Well I’m trying to figure things out with Matt, I feel terrible because I do really like you too. It just wouldn’t be fair to you if we went any further. Please Billy, I never wanted to hurt you.”
He kissed you again, his lips were red from a combination of your leftover lipstick and kissing you furiously but again, he wasn’t angry.
“Hey, it’s ok y/n—really it is. I’m just glad you told me before I fell for you even harder than I already have.” He said through a slight smile.
His words gutted you, the dejected look he had on his face was something that you never thought you’d be the cause of. It wasn’t your intention to hurt him like this, your heart was usually the one getting broken not the other way around.
Before you could say anything else, he got up from the couch, put his suit jacket back on and walked towards the door. While he was putting his shoes on, he told you—“Ya know, a lot of women when they meet me think I’m damaged or broken because of my time in the service or being a foster kid. You gave me a chance, I just wish I could have met you before Matt did. He’s a lucky guy.”
As he said that, he opened your door, turned around to give you one last kiss on the forehead and was ready to take off down the stairs.
“Billy…I really am sorry.”
He smiled, his dark brown eyes stared at you for a minute before he said “I sure hope Matt knows what he has.” And with that, he winked and disappeared down the stairs.
After Billy left, you had a good cry on the couch. But then decided to compose yourself and try and call Matt, not noticing how late it was, he didn’t answer though. While cleaning the kitchen, you couldn’t get either one of them off your mind and after your shower, trying to fall asleep was even more difficult.
The cold night air woke you up, you didn’t remember leaving the window open considering it was October. And it wasn’t just the chilly air that woke you up, it was the crash you heard coming from your living room. You got out of bed with your baseball bat in your hands and tip toed out from your bedroom and there he was, dressed all in black, the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen—in your living room.
“I know who you are but what are you doing here?” Before he could answer, and noticing he was holding his chest, you thought you heard the slightest of drip noises. “Are you—bleeding?”
The Devil had a low voice, almost a whisper as he staggered towards you—“yes sweetheart, I need your help.”
“Sweetheart?” That tone was so familiar—“Matt?!!! Oh no, you’re hurt!! What happened?!!”
His breathing was heavy when he collapsed on to the floor—“Your boyfriend—he cut me, he got me pretty good too. AH!”
“Boyfriend? Were you spying on me?!! Matty what are you talking about?” There was panic and slight anger in your voice as you fell on your knees beside him.
“Russo—I followed him—he must have sensed I was tailing him because he ducked into a warehouse after he left your place and he got the jump on me, I don’t know how but he did.”
You couldn’t believe what you were hearing and seeing right now. “Ok he’s not my boyfriend, first of all and what did he stab you with!?” You thought about it for a second, how did he know Billy’s name? Foggy said the rumor was I had a date but no mention of a name—Dammit, Foggy told him! You’ll have to worry about that later.
“I didn’t notice any kind of weapon on him when he was here earlier. I don’t understand, Matt!”
His breathing became labored and he had a hard time spitting words out. “It came out of no--nowhere, from under--underneath his sleeves, he must have hid it in his--his outside coat. He’s not the person you think he is, sweetheart.” And that was the last thing Matt said before he passed out.

Capcom's Official AA Fanclub Surveys - DGS Edition
Many Western fans may be familiar with the Turnabout 4koma comics that get posted on the official AA fanclub site that Capcom runs, thanks to some lovely fans on tumblr and elsewhere who have shared their translations. What fewer people seem to know about is the character surveys.
Back in the old days, they used to hold a survey on Capcom's official AA fansite every few months where they'd write about the seasonal activities of a handful of characters and ask fans to vote for the funniest/most pleasant/strangest/etc answer.
They stopped doing them in like... 2016? 2017? The original text is lost for good as far as I can tell. Even the wayback machine couldn't help because the content was password locked and you can't get past the password wall while remaining in the archived version.
Fortunately, I saved some of my translations of them so I thought I’d share them.
Cut for length...
"February has begun, and the DGS cast is nearing the end of their journey aboard the RFS Alacrei. Which of them acted the most strangely?"
Ryuunosuke ~ Exhausted from his intensive study session, he decided to try some katana swinging practice as a change of pace and to combat his recent lack of exercise. But because he wasn't used to handling the katana, he swung it too hard and it went flying out of his hands and got stuck in the wall right next to Sherlock, who had just entered the room. Sherlock asked him, "aren't you supposed to be studying right now, Mr. Naruhodo?" and handcuffed him to his desk.
Susato- worked on developing a curriculum for Ryuunosuke. 'If we keep going at this pace, he won't be able to learn it all in time... It'll be hard on Naruhodo-sama, but we'll have to work hard through a couple of nights together.' With that thought, she created a harsh study schedule, and almost seemed to be looking forward to it for some reason.
Sherlock- Driven by excitement over the thought of returning to England after a long absence, he went up on deck to stare at the ocean. Being February, it was very cold out there and he ended up being chilled all the way to the tips of his fingers. He returned to the ship cabins and amused himself by putting his frozen hands on Ryuunosuke, who was stuck in his room studying.
Van Zieks- Upon hearing from Vortex that there was a Japanese exchange student coming to England to study law, he smashed a Lord's Bottle. He apparently also didn't care for the fact that that Japanese student wouldn't be alone, because he proceeded to shatter his chalice, too.
Hosonaga- in order to provide a respite from studying, he provided some hot chocolate. They enjoyed a pleasant tea time, marveling over how sweet and delicious the drink was until Sherlock piped up with some unnecessary trivia: 'Actually folks, chocolate has long been used in Europe as an aphrodisiac!' Everyone promptly spat it out."
"The long winter is nearly over and spring is on it's way, putting the DGS cast members in a celebratory mood. Who found the best way of enjoying spring?"
Ryuunosuke: the Yuumei University faculty members were holding a flower viewing event, and he joined the assistance committee. He exhausted himself keeping the blankets clean so the intense shower of flower petals wouldn't pile up too high on them, delivering sake and snacks, and mediating whatever pointless fights arose. To top it all off, for some reason his compensation was only a single piece of leftover candy. Talk about a sad result!
Susato- her father and the others living in his dormitory were holding the flower viewing event, so she got up early to prepare the bentos. But her father carelessly forgot to tell her that they wanted tea cakes, so she had to go around the house and neighborhood collecting sweets. For some reason, she ended up being able to gather caramels, biscuits, candy sticks, basically everything but tea cakes, for the tea ceremony.
Sherlock- he disguised himself as a beat officer and infiltrated Scotland Yard to have some fun. There was a real beat officer napping on his feet in the spring sunshine, and while observing him, Sherlock ended up falling asleep too. Detective Gregson gave them a good scolding when he found them, but then Sherlock revealed his true identity with a "hey, it's me, folks!" "What the blazes do you think you're doing?!" Gregson shouted, his rage growing even more, and Sherlock ended up making a run for it.
Van Zieks- went to the vineyard to oversee the production of the contents of his Lord's Bottle. As he viewed the still unopened grape blossom buds, he thought about how they would someday grow up to fill his Lord's Bottle, and ended up going around to look at each one. But the farm hands couldn't stop wondering whether the bottle itself or its owner's heel might come flying at them and were quite uneasy.
Asougi: exhausted himself running around since early morning helping with the professors' flower viewing event. When it was over, he took a break, sharing his reward candy stick [the name of the candy literally translates to 1,000 year candy] with Ryuunosuke, who had also been helping out.
"I wonder if the candy's effect is halved if you share it with someone."
"That still gives us 500 years."
They laughed and enjoyed looking at the flowers until dark. Then they parted ways with a handshake and a "see you later, best friend."
(This one was something about celebrating New Years. For some reason I didn't save the original question)
"Ryuunosuke ~ To celebrate New Years, he planned to pound mochi with everyone at the office. He somehow managed to get his hands on some mochi rice and he and Sherlock started pounding. Iris was having such fun watching them that she steamed a whole bunch more mochi rice so they could have some to share, and he and Sherlock spent the whole evening pounding mochi like crazy.
Asougi~ Because it's New Years, he went around to a bunch of shrines. When he drew his new year's fortune, he got a "horrible luck" result. "I'm not worried about it," he claimed, and headed up to the mountains early on New Years morning and work hard on a full training course of purification by water, meditation under a waterfall and wooden sword practice. It seems that he was working really hard to clear his mind of all earthly thoughts
Sherlock- Agreed to help Ryuunosuke pound mochi. As Ryuunosuke was flipping the mochi over, he carelessly dropped his badge into the bowl and Sherlock mixed it in without noticing, so they had to crack open both the hard and soft mochi to look for it. Fortunately they found it in the 4th one they checked, but apparently Sherlock got his hands and face covered in sticky white mochi in the process.
Susato- Wore a furisode and went with her father to do the first shrine visit of the year. The shrine was incredibly crowded and they had to wait in line for a long time, but she brought the Encyclopaedia of British Law and a copy of the Strand Magazine in her sleeves to secretly read as they waited so she actually ended up enjoying the wait.
Van Zieks- Ryuunosuke cheerfully gave him some mochi as a New Year’s (which at that time was celebrated at the same time as the Chinese New Year) gift, which he accepted confusedly, wondering “...Can the Japanese not even keep track of when the New Year is?” Because Ryuunosuke referred to it as a rice cake, he tried to eat it like a regular cake without softening it with heat first. It was so hard that he couldn’t imagine how it could possibly be food, and ended up misunderstanding the Japanese even more!
"Autumn has arrived, and the weather is starting to cool off, which means that everyone is becoming more active. Which character chose the most pleasant autumn activity to keep busy with?"
Iris was making bread but her hands are small and it’s difficult for her to knead the dough, so she asked for Ryuunosuke’s help. She wanted to make enough to hand out to Gina and all the other homeless children in the East End, so she made a massive amount and Ryuunosuke was stuck kneading this massive mountain of bread dough all day. Apparently he became such a expert at kneading that he could be a baker now.
Asougi was practicing with his sword, slicing autumn-colored ginko leaves as they fell from the tree. He cut so many leaves, though, that he ended up making a big mess on the ground, the number of fallen leaves now having increased, and it took him a long time to clean it all up.
Sherlock: Ryuunosuke told him that he was making anpan (bread filled with sweet red bean paste, the bane of my Asian-dwelling existance) and asked Sherlock to help by being in charge of getting the poppy seeds they’d need to sprinkle on top, so Sherlock went out and gathered a ton of poppy seeds. In fact, he got so many of them that no one knew what to do with them all cuz they had a huge amount of leftovers. Sherlock said, “Well, they’re only the size of poppy seeds! Surely you two can deal with them somehow! Ahahaha!” and Iris scolded him.
(I couldn’t capture it in English, but Sherlock’s line contained a pun, and a pretty stupid one at that, so that’s part of why he got scolded)
It’s grape harvesting season, so Van Zieks commutes to the winery regularly to direct the production of the contents for his “Lord’s Bottle.” He demands perfection in everything from the selection of the grapes to the way they’re squeezed, and the winery staff is terrified by the “grim reaper’s” gaze and heel swinging (i.e. the leg thing he does in court) so they grumble as they work.
"Hearing that there’s a holiday in the West called Halloween, the people involved with the court in Japan decided to try it out themselves. Naturally Halloween is a big deal in England as well. So, which member of the DGS cast had the best celebration?"
Team Ryuunosuke and Asougi- Asougi got Naruhodo up on his shoulders and they draped a white sheet over themselves to make a ghost costume. They went out like that, but Naruhodo had such exaggerated reactions to the fear of the people who saw them and to bumping his head on tree branches that they ended up losing their balance and falling on top of each other?!
Sherlock Holmes- went wearing a horse’s head mask. Iris used her skills to make it a fancy horse covered in stars, but the eye holes weren’t well made and he had to wander around blindly. Because of that he tripped hard over a pile of coal! He ended up getting so dirty that the stars on his costume were covered up!
Van Zieks- took inspiration from his nickname and dressed up as the grim reaper. He covered himself up with a skeleton mask and hood figuring no one would know it was him. Unfortunately he got angry when he saw Megundal (McGilded) pass by and started throwing bottles and glasses and ended up giving himself away.
"November has arrived, and autumn is nearing its end. However, the DGS cast is still keeping busy, even on their days off. Which character chose the most interesting way to spend their late autumn day?"
Ryuunosuke- Thinking that he’d better learn more about British culture if he was going to be a defense attorney in Britain, he went down to the East End with Gina for a little observation. However, because an Asian like him stood out so much, he got mobbed by the other children. On top of it all, his arm band got stolen from him and he had to send a replacement request to Yumei University on the other side of the ocean.
Asougi- He went for a meal at La Quantas. The customer at a nearby table got a persimmon for dessert and scarfed it down, saying “Mm! This is it! This sweetness makes it worthy of being called a treasure among foods!” Asougi tried to comment on this by saying, “The customer at that table sure is enjoying his pershim--gak!” but he may or may not have accidentally bitten his tongue in the process and been unable to finish his sentence.
Iris- She accepted Ryuunosuke’s request to learn more about British culture and prepared a bagpipe and kilt costume for him. “This outfit sure is breezy,” Ryuunosuke said shyly upon trying it on. With Ryuunosuke now dressed, he, Iris, and the others from their office headed over to Gregson’s place to get him to treat them to some fish and chips.
Sherlock- He accepted Ryuunosuke’s request to learn more about British culture and cooked up some European style curry for dinner. Thanks to the fact that his secret ingredient was a large amount of Chinese herbal medicine style spice, it caused some strange side effects and Ryuunosuke, who’d eaten it, ended up passing out and falling over.
“Another taxing trial for Ryuunosuke has finished and now it’s December. As the year draws to a close, which character acts the strangest?”
Ryuunosuke- he was recruited to help with snow removal around Yumei University and the courthouse and he enthusiastically began his task with the help of a large shovel. He got a little carried away, though, and ended up accidentally burying his umbrella, which he’d left propped up against the side of the building, in the snow he’d just finished shoveling. He had no choice but to share Asougi’s umbrella on the way home.
Asougi- On the way home, he nods silently to Ryuunosuke’s question of whether he’d finished his travel preparations and changes the subject: “...Come to think of it, it seems that tomorrow is celebrated in the West as God’s birthday.” “I’ve heard that they eat chicken as part of the traditional celebration. Wanna try it?” Ryuunosuke asks invitingly. Asougi is strongly opposed to that particular menu item, however, and they end up going out for their usual beef stew that night instead.
Susato- in addition to her year-end travel preparations, she also was busy with straightening up the book room in her home. She managed to get the law books in order when she suddenly stumbled upon some old issues of Strand Magazine! She hurried through the rest of her cleaning, then began flipping through the magazines she’d found, trying to decide which to take with her on her trip. She accidentally lost herself in her reading and didn’t realize it until it was already the middle of the night.
Sherlock- he was in the middle of a long ship voyage when Christmas night came. His mind on his partner in a far-off country, he made a toast alone on deck, when suddenly the crew began shooting off fireworks with a cry of “Merry Christmas!” Sherlock had to dart back and forth across the deck to prevent the fireworks from hitting him and setting off the explosive chemicals he carries with him.

crush
pov. you have a crush on your brother’s best friend
request. Hi! Congrats on 2.4k!!🤩 For the event, may I request an au where reader is Yuuta’s sister? Can be gn/fem reader anything is fine. And they fall in love with Toge? Fluff fluff fluff please
notes. awww i love this request, i have a fat crush on toge so i enjoyed writing this! i made this a modern high school au, by the way!
You stare disappointedly at the black wrappings of your bento, sighing because your brother took the wrong one again. Waving goodbye to your friend, you made your way to your brother’s classroom, knocking on the door to get his attention. However, it isn’t your brother who’d stopped laughing mid-conversation. Instead, it’s a familiar-looking platinum haired guy, his purple eyes glimmering with mischief as he slapped your brother’s arm.
“Yo, Yuta, I think someone’s looking for you,” you heard him say.
Meanwhile, you just stood there blankly, your throat growing dry because he was cute – like actually handsome boy-next-door cute.
You’ve met lots of cute guys before, but they were all very immature that you found no interest in others. He, on the other hand, was nothing less of polite, shooting up from his seat because your stupid brother was too invested in his video games. The guy flashed you a bright smile, the beauty of his face up close enhanced that you felt your heart squealing.
Not that you’d ever show that, of course, so you just reciprocated with a polite smile to hide your frantic nerves.
“Hi! You here for Yuta-kun?”
“Y-yes.”
Before he could speak, an arm had shoved him aside. Yuta stood before you, his frown apparent while his friend stayed at the side, a smile still playing on his lips. It took all your energy to not stare at him too much in fear he’d easily read through you.
“Hey, what are you doing here?”
“You swapped lunches with me,” you shoved the black bento box to his chest, stepping closer to your brother to whisper in his ear. “Is that a friend of yours?”
“Yeah, he’s Toge. He used to play with us a lot before he moved away, but his family’s back in town. Don’t you remember him?”
“No…”
“Toge, come here!” he called out to his retreating friend, the guy freezing in his tracks before he jogged up to where you were quickly. Oh crap, you kept gushing, he really was cute. He placed an arm around your brother’s shoulder, nodding at you as a greeting. “Remember my sister? You used to play with her a lot when we were kids. You kept stealing her Barbies, remember?”
“I did?” Toge looked shocked, his back bending into a fake bow. “I’m very sorry for that, but don’t worry, I don’t do that anymore.”
“I don’t play with Barbies at this age!” you defended, heat spreading all over your skin when he winked at you. Both of them laughed at your flushed face, and you crossed your arms on your chest, glaring at your brother. Really though, you were just trying to hide the fact you were very attracted to his friend, even more so now that he was actually familiar. “Stupid Yuta-nii.”
“You’re cute,” Toge randomly piped in.
If you were feeling shy before, you couldn’t speak now.
“Dude, don’t talk about my sister like that,” Yuta gagged, slapping his friend on the chest who effortlessly ducked away, his laughter like music in your ears. You stared at him for who knew how long, his happiness absorbed in your body as you found yourself giggling back. Yuta, on the other hand, wasn’t as impressed, rolling his eyes at his friend before turning to you. “You should go back to class. The bell will ring soon.”
“Okay,” you nodded quietly, hesitating for a moment. Surely it wouldn’t be too weird, right? Deciding to heck with it though, you balled your hands into fists, mustering the courage to look him in the eye as you said, “See you, Toge-senpai.”
He simply shrugged his brows up as a farewell, and just like that, you dashed down the hall so fast you put Quicksilver to shame.
Great. Out of all the days it had to storm, it had to be on the rare moment you forgot your umbrella. Unsurprisingly enough, it was Yuta’s fault for making you forget it. Both of you had slept in too much, but instead of being the responsible older brother, he left you to prepare the meals all by yourself while he spent half an hour fixing his hair. In your haste to arrive on school on time, you’d forgotten to pick up your umbrella, and now the misfortune of it slapped you right on the face.
“Tch, how can I go home?” you glared at no one in particular.
Yuta had to stay behind for baseball practice in the covered court, leaving you all alone to take the bus by yourself. Well, not that it mattered, going home alone was way better than listening to your brother rant about video games and girls he wanted to talk to in class.
Shifting your weight from one foot to another, brows pinched as you mulled on the different ways you could come back home, you came up with two options.
One, run like hell and risk getting sick from this weather, or two, wait for the rain to subside.
But ugh, you wanted to go home already. Before you knew it, you’d unknowingly pouted, arms hugged to yourself while you cursed your stupid brother a hundred times over in your head. Too lost in your own thoughts, you failed to hear humming from behind you, a scream nearly ripping from your lips when someone planted himself beside you.
“Hey, you’re here!”
You gazed up at him wide-eyed, subconsciously stepping away to keep your beating heart at bay. “H-hello, Toge-senpai.”
“Please, just call me Toge,” he offered, opening his umbrella before his eyes landed on you. Probably realizing you were quite helpless, Toge smiled, nudging you to come closer to him. “Hey, I’ll walk you home. You guys still live in the same block?”
“Yeah.”
And so there you were, debating that maybe Yuta’s carelessness wasn’t such a bad thing. After all, if it would lead to your crush taking you home, then you weren’t complaining. Funny how the weather seemed so gloomy, a huge contrast to the sunshine you radiated at the sheer happiness of living out your most romantic fantasies. It was silly, actually, to crush on your brother’s best friend of all people, but Toge was so nice and handsome – it was kind of impossible not to like him.
In the span of two weeks that you’d known him, he’d been nothing but friendly. And no, you weren’t going to admit you started visiting their classroom more often than before, simply because you wanted to get a glimpse of him.
Toge pulled you out of your lovesick trance, his arm landing on your waist before he shifted you beside him. You noticed he was now closer to the road while you were on the safer side of the sidewalk, and god, did he just step closer? He was close enough that your arms brushed with each step, sending a wave of heat that you bit back by tugging your lips with your teeth.
“For warmth,” he explained as if reading your mind, arm raised lazily in a shrug. “Wouldn’t want you to get cold.”
“Thank you,” you muttered, hiding your face under your scarf.
You and Toge were silent the whole time, but it was a silence you adored. Very rarely that you found comfort in silence with others, but with Toge, it felt so easy – so natural. You hadn’t even realized you were already at home, Toge chuckling at your spaced out self. He bid his farewell then, his back facing yours as he walked away when you blurted, “Oh, my parents aren’t home. I think you should stay first to let the rain calm down a bit. You live a little far from school, right?”
Toge looked a little surprised, his eyes shooting up to the sky with a sigh. Inwardly, you were screaming because you just invited him inside, but Toge was already waddling back to you before you could regret it.
“Yeah, thanks for the invitation. I don’t think I should go home in this weather too,” he said, following you across the threshold. He looked around in awe, his shoes left in the front door before he crossed the living room with you, his eyes shining with nostalgia and happiness. “Wow, your place hasn’t changed one bit. I missed being here.”
You flashed him a smile. Turns out it wasn’t that bad – Toge being comfortable made you comfortable. Aside from the nervousness partnered with shyness from having a crush, you applauded yourself for being able to look him in the eye as you asked, “Do you want tea, coffee…?”
“Water is fine. Thanks,” he shrugged off his jacket and placed it behind a chair, chuckling when you nodded too fast. Toge, much to your dismay (or delight?!) trailed behind you in the kitchen, having no business looking that handsome as he leaned against the counter. Him being unaware of his effect on you was even worse, and you bit the inside of your cheeks, trembling as you poured him a glass of water.
From behind you, Toge snickered, “Why are you so jittery? Do I make you nervous?”
“A-a little.”
“Why? Am I intimidating?” he appeared beside you out of nowhere, so close that you could count his lashes. You leaned back with a muffled squeal, eyes wide at the proximity. Toge, as always, seemed completely unaware of it, taking his time to assess your features with a hand on his chin as if all the answers he was looking for was written all over your face. “Yuta told me I was very easy to approach though.”
“No, it’s not that, I just…” you stuttered, giving in with weak knees and turning your head to the side. Your heart, your poor heart! “Crap, I hate myself.”
“You were saying something?”
“I, uhm, it’s just,” you panicked, mind failing to function now of all times. “I think…I have a crush on you?”
The room fell silent.
Realization dawning on you, you flattened your palms together in a begging motion. Toge merely blinked back at you, and you were so close to just kneeling to the gods to rid yourself of this moment forever. “Please forget everything I said, I’m so sorry! Gosh, Yuta’s going to kill me, forget I said anything, I didn’t mean to be weird.”
“Hey, chill, it’s fine!” he laughed, helping you get up just before you fell in exasperation. Then, he smirked at you, wiggling his brows in the process. “I kind of knew that anyway, to be honest.”
“You do?”
“Yeah, I mean, you asked me to marry you when we were kids,” he informed you, but the memory never played back in your mind. It wasn’t a lie though, you really did ask him that when you were kids. Embarrassment taking hold of you, you groaned behind your palms, feeling like your heart was going to explode every now and then.
“Oh my gosh…”
“It’s okay,” Toge peeled your arms away from your face, his grin nothing less of teasing the moment he’s greeted by your shyness. “I did say yes – let’s just wait after high school, yeah?”

“Kim Seokjin, if you got us lost, I’m going to murder you,” you seethed as your pulled your booted foot out of a slick puddle of mud.
“I didn’t get us lost, dear. The map is wrong,” he replied coolly as he twisted the crumpled map from portrait to landscape, and back again. “I’m an excellent navigator, but when the tools I have are faulty…”.
You grumbled, stopping your walk to sit on a fallen log. You sighed audibly at your best friend, still maneuvering in the small clearing in the forest, trying to match the map to where you were. You chanced a look at the sky as you sought to catch your breath and sate your anger. Dark, heavy clouds were forming, the kind that didn’t just indicate a sprinkle but a torrential downpour.
“Shit, Jin. It’s going to storm soon,” you warned.
He stopped his map seeking and glanced at the sky, frown buried deep in his face.
Instantly, as if it never changed, he returned to his bright and cheery demeanor.
“Well! Looks like we should work faster to make it back to camp, huh?”
Seokjin would be excited for an unexpected kink in your plans. The boy was obsessed with “roughing it”. You agreed to one weekend with minimal hiking. Camping, in your opinion, was meant to be spent drunk around a fire eating s’mores and telling scary stories, not walking for miles through nothing but trees, mud, and probably bears.
Camping had never been your favorite hobby, and you allowed Seokjin to take you off trail backpacking once per year. The man looked forward to it, planned it several months in advance, and counted down the days until he stuffed you in his Jeep down a deserted forest highway to the campsite.
Only, Jin never took the “minimal hiking” thing too seriously.
“It’s an easy hike,” he had promised you that morning as you set up camp. “More of a stroll than anything.”
You kicked at the dirt beneath you now, upset you had listened to the dark-haired man’s empty promises.
“How about we just go back the way we came from?” You suggested as you stood up and brushed the dirt off your backside from the log.
“Nonsense,” he sniffed. “I’ve got it right here. We can take this trail,” he gestured at a clearing through the trees, “for about a mile, turn left at the open valley, and we’ll be back at camp two miles after that!” He proclaimed his findings as if it were so easy, so obvious.
“Great, three miles of hiking. After we’ve already done four, at least.”
“Yes, my ever-positive sunshine, you should be happy I found us a shortcut.” He patted your head and smiled at you as he adjusted your backpack strap that was sliding off your shoulders. He lingered, eyes on you and your lips for just a fraction too long, before he turned and began leading you through the forest.
Your heart was racing, unrelated to the elevation or the hike.
You gave in so easily to Jin not because he was your best friend since childhood, but also because he was the man you were hopelessly in love with.
You’d been smitten with the older boy since your senior year of high school, when he jokingly asked you to prom and you realized you wanted Seokjin courting you to be a regular occurrence.
You stayed by his side through it all, all girlfriends and breakups. It hurt to watch him with another, but maintaining his friendship was more important than anything else and you weren’t about to lose him to a crush that you could easily just avoid.
Seokjin was attached to your hip, a fact your friends never let you live down. They were relentless in encouraging you two to be alone, and for you to admit your feelings to him. They told you they were sure he would reciprocate it.
Unbeknownst to them, you had admitted it.
You and Jin once got messy drunk on the floor of your apartment, where you slithered up into his lap and whispered your secret devotion to your best friend. Seokjin merely laughed and kissed your nose. You were so embarrassed and rejected you never brought it up again. Best to leave it be, rather than bring a 15 year friendship to a screeching halt.
So—you valiantly stood by him as his best friend and confidante. You were there when he excitedly told you about his new girlfriend, or when he called you crying over their breakup. Your heart twinged at both; you wanted to be the reason for his excitement and the balm to his wounded heart.
You allowed Seokjin to take you on all his wild adventures. Like now—traipsing through the forest with no direction in sight, because you would have done nearly anything for the boy.
A crack of thunder shook you from your thoughts and you jumped at the sudden sound.
“Ah, so cute,” he smiled at you, “still afraid of thunder?”
You blushed and pouted. “It just surprised me, is all.”
He smirked as if to say he didn’t believe you and nodded. “We should get a move on, don’t want to get caught in the rain.”
You shivered at the thought. It was already cool in the forest; the trees providing enough coverage it locked out any sun, if there had been any. You quickly moved in step behind your best friend. It only took a few minutes of silence before the telltale pitter patter of droplets on leaves began. A fat raindrop landed on your forehead.
“Fuck,” you groaned. “It’s starting.”
“I know,” Jin suddenly looked worried, his confident demeanor cracking. He looked back at you and tightened the straps on his backpack.
“Let’s run?”
You were powerless to deny any request from him. Plus, you didn’t really feel like getting drenched.
You adjusted your own backpack and took off, running through the quickly dampening forest beside Seokjin.
The rain came in a downpour. It hit you hard, blurring your vision. Seokjin slipped his hand into yours, not wanting to lose you in the storm. You pushed your legs in time with his, jumping around fell logs and rocks and skipping large puddles.
You were drenched as Seokjin pulled you into a makeshift canopy of rocks, a momentary pause from the storm to catch your breath. Your hair was soaking wet, as if freshly showered. Seokjin’s hair stuck to his face, and you smiled as he looked at you with concern. It only took a moment until you were both bursting with laughter, finding humor at the moment.
It was something you loved about Seokjin. He always knew how to make you laugh in times it seemed impossible.
“This sucks,” you spoke through your joyful laughter. He nodded in agreement.
“I think we’re almost back. We need to turn soon, and then we’ve got about two more miles. You ready?”
You agreed and pushed back the slick hair in your eyes, before doing the same for him. His eyes sparkled. You didn’t know what it meant.
In an instant, you were running again. The backpack bounced against your back and rain pounded your body. The things you did for Kim Seokjin. You were whipped, and you knew it.
The trail seemed like it went on forever. You both became so tired of running that you slowed and trudged slowly through mud as rain pelted you, accepting your fate of soaking to the bone. You were sure you had never been this drenched in your life. Your clothes were stuck to your body and dripping down into your shoes and socks. Your teeth chattered in the breeze—it felt as if the wind whipped right through you. The sky rumbled again, as if warning you to hurry lest it dump more rain on you.
Seokjin was always the caring companion. He rubbed your shoulders and arms to warm them up and promised a roaring fire. You hated how much it made your heart burst.
You were very much looking forward to your one-man tent, stocked with a sleeping bag and blankets. You could strip down and dry off and slip into the warmth of your own personal nest.
Seokjin waxed poetic about his own spacious tent—a lofty family sized one, and how he made sure he brought his sleeping bag along with 8 thick blankets, and how he couldn’t wait to snuggle down into his own. Seokjin was the picture of preparedness. He even kept a locking box full of snacks in his tent because the boy was a foodie and couldn’t survive without the treats. It came in handy.
“What would you do if we were stuck out here forever?” You posed to your best friend, curious about his response and desperate to pass the time as you hiked.
“Well,” he thought aloud. “I’d miss the guys. But I’d be happy to be stuck out here with you.”
Your cheeks flushed.
“You wouldn’t miss, ah—what’s her name? Miya?”
Seokjin shrugged. “She’s fun. She’s not you, though.”
You couldn’t help but grumble internally. She was good enough to date, and you weren’t. She was different in some respect.
“Are things not going well with her?” You asked, secretly hoping they weren’t.
“It’s fine. She’s nice and all,” he sighed. “Just, there’s no spark there, you know?”
You knew all too well. Any man you tried to date paled compared to your best friend, and the fireworks behind your every heartbeat when you were near him.
“What about you?” He was peering into your eyes and into what felt like your soul. “You and Jungkook sure seem cozy.” His tone sounded annoyed, sarcastic even.
You couldn’t help but bark a laugh.
“Oh god, no,” you shook your soggy head. “Not my type. We’re good friends and that’s it. Plus, I’m sure he’s into Jimin.”
Seokjin shrugged again. “You sit on his lap and cuddle up to him all the time…”
“Are you jealous?” You smirked, nudging the man. Please, god, please be jealous.
“N-No!” He was sharp. “I’m not.”
Ouch.
You remained silent, eyes downcast at your muddy boots as you walked alongside the man.
“Sorry,” he mumbled after a beat of silence.
“Don’t worry about it, Seokjin. I got it—loud and clear.”
Seokjin looked hurt, a wave of dissatisfaction crossing his features. He wanted to say something, mouth opening to continue his apology. You ignored it wholly. He knew your feelings. There was no way he couldn’t remember that night. You pushed ahead of the man, walking in front of him to avoid his pained gaze and likely hurried apology.
The light of day was leaving. Everything around you was steadily getting darker, and the rain showed no sign of giving up. You silently begged to be back to the safety of your camp soon, lest you become walking mountain lion bait.
“There’s camp!” Seokjin finally pointed and ran through the rain ahead of you.
“Oh thank fuck,” you sighed, feeling as if it lifted a weight from your shoulders. You couldn’t wait to strip out of your soaking clothes and slither into your blankets.
“Oh shit,” Seokjin whispered, stopping where he stood. You followed his gaze, concerned about what stopped the boy so quickly.
Your tent was ripped open, the insides of it exposed to the wind and rain. Everything you owned was soaking wet. You had set it up in a clearing with not too many trees above it, and it appeared the lack of protection against the wind and rain tore the poor fabric to shreds.
A worn-out and distraught sob left your lips.
“No!”
You ran to the tent and nearly cried. Fortunately, beyond just being soaking wet and useless for the night, everything was intact. There was only no warmth to be had. No warm clothes to change into. Nothing.
“What the fuck am I going to do?!”
Seokjin placed a hand on your shoulder.
“You can share with me?” He sounded hopeful. “We can hang your clothes to dry and when the storm passes, we can build a fire and let your tent air out. But you should probably sleep in my tent tonight.”
You bit your lip. You had slept with Seokjin in more beds than you could count, always being forced to share a bed as the designated ‘best friends who don’t care’. And it was never easy for you. You always woke up with the delicious scent of his cologne and shampoo, and your body curled around his. His hardness would always be pressed up against you, and it took all you had not to wrap your mouth around it to wake him up.
“Yeah, thanks Seokjin,” you breathed. “I’m fucking freezing. And I’m tired. I just want to get some sleep.”
Seokjin slipped his backpack off and pulled yours off your frame. He hung them from a sturdy branch, protected by layers of trees overhead, to let them dry.
“I have some towels in my tent, go on in. You can get dry and hand me your wet clothes to hang. Then you can get in the blankets and I’ll make us something to eat.”
You blushed. Seokjin hadn’t seen you fully naked, ever; at least not since you were toddlers.
Slipping into his blankets while stark nude would be a dream. It was something you fantasized about more than you’d care to admit. But, in the current conditions, being naked and clammy in the blankets next to your best friend who didn’t return any feelings for you sounded more like an awkward moment waiting to happen.
If Seokjin noticed anything, he didn’t show it. He acted as if making you strip in his tent was a normal thing, nothing out of the ordinary.
“I’ll wait out here,” he nodded dutifully.
You slipped out of your muddy boots and socks, and into his tent. It was nice and spacious, and the blankets looked incredibly enticing. It was kind of Seokjin to let you stay with him, even kinder that he would remain soaking wet to make you something to eat. Your body felt so worn out and drained, and you were sure he did too.
You peeled the wet clothing off of you, every bit, before sticking your head out the door and handing him the clothes.
“Don’t worry about food, okay? You should get dry too.”
He wrinkled his forehead.
“You sure?”
You bit your lip and nodded.
“I’m sure. Plus, we have your snacks.”
“Ah, good thinking,” he shot his finger guns at you. “I’ll be there in a minute, then. Hand me a towel and I’ll get undressed out here.”
You shyly handed him a towel, now very aware that you and Seokjin would be in the same tent—naked. The thought thrilled you as much as it scared you.
It didn’t take long to burrow yourself into his freshly made bed roll, sliding into the neat layers. Seokjin was nearly military in his routine and order. Everything was always tucked, pressed, and laid down perfectly.
Your body wracked with shivers and chills—the blankets and sleeping bag were cold from the ambient air outside. You folded yourself together in a fetal position to maintain some warmth. It felt good to lie down on the soft bed mat, but the blankets were doing nothing to provide warmth.
The sound of the zipper opening the front door flap of the tent made you shake harder. You could feel the wind blow through the opening now. The sound of the storm was loud, and you were grateful for the heavy tarp covering Seokjin’s tent. It provided some respite from the wind and kept all water off the tent. At least Seokjin had been smart in his setup. You ignored the man’s suggestions to set up better, and you were fully regretting it now.
Seokjin had the towel wrapped around his waist and stepped about the tent easily. He dabbed at his upper body with a smaller towel from his suitcase and rubbed his hair dry. The normally perfectly coiffed head was now static-y and sticking up wildly. It would have made you laugh if you weren’t so cold.
Seokjin moved around you and slid into the blankets, leaving a large space between you, before he threw the towel around his waist onto the floor. He was naked now; you noted internally. You both were. A shiver ran down your spine, unrelated to the relentless chill.
It was silent. All you could hear was the beating of the rain on the tarp and your teeth chattering as you shivered.
Seokjin stole a look at you, finally, and noticed your position, holding yourself to build warmth.
“Shit, are you okay?” He asked.
“I’m j-j-just col-l-ld,” you whispered. “And t-t-tired.”
Seokjin didn’t reply, but you heard the scratching sound of a moving sleeping bag and rustling of blankets and suddenly felt a very warm, very naked body pressed against you. It was blissful, and you moaned out loud at the feel of him spooning you.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered. You didn’t know what for, and couldn’t bring yourself to reply.
You burrowed yourself down into his warmth and felt his arms wrap around you, securing you against him. He radiated heat. He felt like heaven. Your eyes closed—he had you feeling like you had stepped into a delicious sauna.
Seokjin’s muscular arms hadn’t moved an inch since they wrapped around you, but now his hands slowly rubbed at your torso, warming you everywhere his hand dragged. It felt electrifying and your body relaxed easily under his delicate fingertips.
It started out innocent, rubbing along your stomach and side to warm you further. But his hand began straying north, reaching the crest of your breasts. Your breath hitched as he rubbed over the cold swells. Your nipples were hard from the chill and pebbled even further with the touch of his hands. It made a gasp stick in your throat.
His lips touched your neck, lightly. They were warm too. It seemed his entire body was twenty degrees warmer than your own, and every touch felt like a raging flame. His hands continued rubbing along your breasts as he laved and sucked.
at the column of your throat.
As instantly as it began, Seokjin stopped. His hands hovered above your breasts.
He pressed kisses to your neck and face. “We should sleep, babe,” he sighed.
You wanted to protest, to push him further, to take care of what he started, but you couldn’t find the energy. Seokjin’s warmth matched with the comfort of his bedroll, and the soothing rise and fall of his breath was lulling you into sleep. Even though it was still early evening, the hike and the run back to safety took it all out of you.
Seokjin’s arms felt like safety. He secured them around you, slipping just underneath your breasts where his thumb could trace alongside the bottom as you easily succumbed to sleep.
It was still dark when you woke.
The rain was still coming down, light this time. It sounded relaxing, soothing. Seokjin was still spooning you, sleeping soundly behind you. You twisted in his grasp to gaze at him.
His hair was dry now, sticking out randomly about his pillow. You were sure if he saw it he’d panic, normally so precise with his looks. He looked so peaceful when he was asleep, none of his chaotic energy and dramatic charisma.
You loved every facet of Seokjin. You loved the flamboyance, the sensitivity, the deep compassion for his friends.
You turned around, as gently and quietly as you could, and pressed a hand to his cheek—rubbing at the warm and soft flesh. He sighed softly in his sleep, moving against his pillow. An eye cracked open, and he stared at you.
“Why are you awake?” He whispered, his voice gentle. “It’s still dark.”
He was confused, and the look that graced his features was adorable. You wanted to photograph it and frame it, make it the lock screen of your phone.
You shook your head.
“Don’t know.”
Seokjin’s hand rubbed at your shoulder, then up to your face. He tucked your hair behind your ear and smiled at you.
“You look so cute in the moonlight.”
You closed your eyes, letting his compliment wash over you. You couldn’t find the words to reply. You let him continue caressing your cheek, feeling as if you were living a fantasy where Seokjin touched you like a lover.
You were so close to him, chest pressing against his own. Something about the quiet storm, the dark tent, had you disregarding any embarrassment you should have felt pressing your naked tits to the man's chest, but the spell of the forest had you pressing closer. Your lips were inches apart, and you could feel his breath on your lips.
The feel of Seokjin’s lips pressing against yours was light, but felt as if all the fireworks in the world exploded behind your eyes and within your belly. It started sweet, gentle. You kissed him like you always wanted to, full of unrequited love and unwavering desire. Your arms slithered around his neck, pulling him even closer against you.
The kiss turned deeper, mouths opening to allow the passage of tongues. He sought into your mouth, caressing yours with his own, pouring what felt like his very spirit into you. His hand left your back and slid up your sides to press against your breast.
“Seokjin,” you murmured, feeling your brain swirl headily. “Feels good.”
He didn’t reply, only kept kissing at your neck and pinching gently at your hardened nipples. It made you cry out, gaping at the slight pain.
“If you want me to stop, tell me.”
His words were gentle. His hands stilled, stopping all ministrations against you.
Your breath was hard and shaky, matching the erratic beat of your heart in your ribcage. Your unrequited crush of years was now roaming your body, touching you as a lover rather than a friend.
“Please, don’t stop.”
He was on you again, now bloodthirsty for any part of your skin to touch. He tugged at your nipples, suckled up your neck to kiss and lick at the shell of your ears. You pressed against him, gasping at the feel of his now stiff cock. He circled his hips, relishing in the feel of you against him. You wondered how he would feel inside you. He was thick and long—it would be a stretch, and a most delicious and welcome one.
He pressed you back against the pillow, hovering over your body as he kissed down your neck and sucked at the pressure points there. A pleasured sigh passed through your open lips, reveling in the feel of him on your skin. It was something you dreamed about often. It felt unreal to finally have it.
You were on display for him, and his eyes raked over you as if you were a Dalí in the Louvre. His hands slid up to cup your breasts, and you tilted your head back to moan. You didn’t care at all about how you looked, how this might be awkward in the next few hours. You cared only about feeling Seokjin within you, getting him off, succumbing to your own pleasure wrought by his hands and his cock.
“Fuck, babe,” he sighed. “Wanted this for a while.”
“Me too,” you gasped as he slid a finger down to your core, circling faintly over your slick folds.
“Have you?”
“Seokjin, I’ve been in love with you since high school.”
Seokjin closed his eyes and smiled, breathing through his nose in contentment.
“You weren’t just saying that when you were drunk then.”
You shook your head, and Seokjin opened his eyes to peer at you.
“No, Seokjin,” you whispered needily, his finger still so torturously close to your clit. “I meant it.”
He leaned down with a smile and planted gentle kisses on your cheeks, adoring and gentle.
“I’ve been in love with you too. I thought you were just drunk. I never acted on it because I didn’t want to get my heart broken.”
He pulled up and allowed his free hand to cup your cheek.
“I’m going to fuck you now, okay?” He asked. “Like, really fucking hard. You good with that?”
You couldn’t help but laugh. A deep, hearty chuckle passed between both of you, enamored with each other and the situation of being naked and intertwined together, the warmth of your matched confessions surrounding you.
“Fuck me, please,” you begged.
And Seokjin would be loath to deny you.
His teasing finger finally slid into your core, fucking into you with ease from your slick walls. You gasped at the welcome intrusion, eyes fluttering closed as he began a slight pace and watched the way you fell apart.
“So pretty,” he whispered. “So fucking pretty.”
He slipped another finger in, scissoring them open as he worked at you. Your legs trembled, and it made the older man smirk.
“Look at you,” he praised. “So easily turned into a *gushing* puddle for me.”
You nodded pathetically, back arching as he added yet another finger and pressed at the spot inside you that had your mind spinning and thoughts erasing.
“Oh—God, Jin!”
As much as Jin wanted to see you get off around his fingers, he was desperate for more. You were finally all his—something he’s wanted since he could remember. All he’s wanted was for you to be his.
He pulled his fingers from inside you and smiled as they came out slicked up with your own essence. He ensured you made eye contact with him, then popped them into his mouth one-by-one, to suck them clean.
It made your mouth nearly fall to the floor as you watched him suck his fingers clean of you. Your body trembled with a need you hadn’t felt before. It was stronger than anything you’d felt before. It was unadulterated desire for Seokjin.
“Mm,” he sighed happily as he pulled the final digit from his mouth. “Delicious, as I thought.”
“Oh, my god,” you gaped. “Jin…,”
The man merely shook his head and smiled, crowding you down and hovering over your lips.
“You’re mine now, you got that?”
His eyes tracked yours, watching your every movement. It took you a moment to swallow your nerves, to regain any ounce of confidence.
“I’ve always been yours, Seokjin.”
He held you down, watching you with a gleam of wonder in his eye, before surging forward and planting his lips onto yours. His tongue dove in instantly, seeking solace in the warmth of your mouth. Allowing him passage was easy, almost natural. Jin’s tongue swirled around your own as your arms slithered around his neck to bring him closer. Kissing Jin felt like everything you’d imagine it would be, and yet like nothing you could have even dreamed.
Jin didn’t just kiss you—he consumed you. He lapped his tongue into your mouth like he couldn’t get close enough to you. His chest pressed against your body and he groaned into your mouth at the feeling of your perky breasts pushing into his own broad chest.
“Baby,” he whispered as he pulled away.
It sounded like a dream—the pet name fell from Jin’s lips so easily, as if it were always meant to be spoken to you.
“You’ve always been the one I wanted,” he breathed as he pressed his lips down your neck. “Always the girl I wanted and could never have.”
“Jin,” you gasped as your fingers carded through his hair. “Jin, you’ve always had me.”
He lifted his head and peered deep into your eyes again, so deep it felt like he was glimpsing into your soul.
“I only want you. No one else.”
It knocked you breathless, and it took a moment for you to refill your lungs before nodding.
“I’m all yours.”
There was acknowledgement in both your admissions. An understanding that there was no more separation of you, and of Jin. That after tonight, it would be a partnership, and the beginnings of something more, something you’ve only dreamt of with the older man.
“Mine,” he whispered, before pressing his lips back to yours.
The kiss was sweet, nearly cloyingly sweet, as his hands cupped your face. He kissed you with every intention, every desperate plea he’s held in his heart for you.
Jin’s length pressed against you—his hips rutting minutely as he kissed you.
“Jin,” you gasped as you pulled away from his lip locked embrace. “Please, I need you.”
Jin’s charming smile spread across his lips, blooming your heart along with it.
“As you wish,” he whispered as he pressed in for another soft kiss..
Instantly, Jin flipped around and switched positions, guiding you to sit atop his hips while he settled down into the mess of blankets and pillows.
“What?” He asked as he noticed your confusion at the sudden mood change, a smirk rising on his puffy lips. “You think I’m gonna let you lay back and make me do all the work?”
There he was, your Seokjin. Never able to keep a comment to himself, regardless of the situation—always working to make you laugh. It made your heart sing.
His hands slid to grip at your hips while you lifted yourself up to hover over his hardened length, lining up the tip to just graze the wetness there.
“You see what you do to me?” You asked with a coy smile. “You see how badly I want you?”
Jin bit his lip, mesmerized by the way your cunt slicked up the head of his cock, desperate to spear into you but holding back.
“Fuck—,” he breathed. “P-Prove it.”
A smirk crossed your features before you took the plunge and allowed his length to slip inside you as you sank to his hips. The intrusion was welcome, and you gaped at the sensation of him plunging deep.
“Oh, my God!” Jin gasped as you had taken him to the hilt. His eyes bulged for a moment before they closed in bliss. “You feel so fucking good.”
You didn’t need to speak. The feeling of Jin’s thick length inside of you was more than enough agreement. He felt so thick, so long, prodding at the spot inside you that had you weak and stretching you wide to make you gasp at the sizzle of pain. After a moment of adjusting to his size, you let your hands fall to his chest as you began to slowly rise and fall and set a pace on his cock.
“Oh, fuck, baby,” he whined—eyes wide open and watching you bounce on him. “Shit, this is where you belong.”
You eagerly pinched at your nipples as your pace quickened, nodding at Jin’s encouraging words. Your mouth felt dry, and you felt unable to even vocalize your pleasure beyond your loud sighs and moans.
“Jin,” you breathed.
He nodded, assisting your pace by gripping your hips. He tugged you down, face to face, to rest on his chest while your hips kept their quick speed of enveloping his cock in your tight heat. He let a hand cup the side of your face, the other moving to grip your ass.
“You’re all fucking mine,” he grunted as he thrusted his cock up into you, matching the rhythm of your rise and fall. “Gonna make you feel so fucking good every day, baby.”
You nodded quickly, heartbeat rising as you quickened each pound. Jin’s lips pressed to yours again, this time messier, hotter. He licked into your mouth, desperate for any more of you he could consume.
“Fuck, you drive me fucking crazy,” he said, cock still thrusting deep inside you. “Let me fuck you from behind?”
You didn’t bother replying, simply removing yourself from his body and assuming the position on your hands and knees. Jin scrambled to line up behind you, hand pumping his slick cock as he marveled at the sight of you presented for him.
“Take me, please,” you whispered, turning your head to peer at him with a desperate smile. “Fuck me until I can’t see straight.”
Jin hissed an expletive, before lining himself up in your sodden folds and plunging in without a second thought. Your eyes widened at the new angle, gasping as you felt it hit different areas inside of you that had you squeaking with each hard thrust of his cock.
Jin’s hands gripped your ass, your hips, anywhere he could leave his brutal fingerprints.
“God, you take my cock like a fucking queen,” he gasped as the sound of skin slapping echoed around the tent. “Look at your pussy, so fucking wet for me.”
He marveled at the way his cock plunged deep inside you, then came out covered in your creamy slick.
“You gonna cum for me, baby? You gonna let me claim this pussy with my cum?”
The pleasure was overwhelming—it felt like every nerve ending was lit on fire, and you were a burning fuse about to detonate into a thousand brilliant explosions. Each thrust of Jin’s thickness had you crying for more, moans echoing off the trees outside. You were suddenly thankful you were in the middle of nowhere, allowing you to be loud and needy.
Jin reveled in your desperate sighs and the way your body pushed back against his to match his pace. He knew his end was coming, knew it was going to be short-lived from the start. He’s wanted your body for as long as he could remember, and wanted you in his life as his lover, his girlfriend, more than just what he had been relegated to for so long.
“Mm, baby, you look so good on your knees for me, fuck,” he gasped as his speed increased. “I can’t wait to make you cum on my cock every fucking day, love. This is my pussy now.”
Jin’s possession of your body made you see stars, vision blurring as your cunt tightened its grip around his cock. Jin gasped at the grip and his hips stuttered.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck,” he groaned. “I feel you, baby, fuck. Cum for me, angel. Let me feel this tiny little cunt milk me.”
The coil inside you was tightening, pulling tight and making you gasp and scream at the oncoming rush. Jin’s pounding was relentless, making your entire body shake with the anticipation.
Your hand dipped to circle at your clit, the ultimate piece to your end.
The coil snapped, and your cunt pulsated wildly around his cock, vice-grip tight. It felt as if you had been catapulted off into space, vision blurring and all sound indiscernible from the blood rushing in your ears.
Jin’s climax quickly overtook him at the feeling of your delicious heat gripping at his cock. With just a few strokes inside you, his cock pulsed hot stripes of cum within you and painted your channel. Something primal in Seokjin loved that he was within you now, a piece of him deposited inside.
He allowed a few moments to pass to catch his breath, before slowly easing his spent cock from your dripping walls. He groaned as he watched a bit of his seed drip out, and he was careful to collect it on his fingers.
“Come here,” he whispered as he pressed his chest to your back and lifted you upright, sitting on your knees. He presented his fingers to your lips, dripping with your combined slick, and wrapped his free arm around your stomach.
Obediently, you opened your mouth and allowed the man to swirl his cum-coated digits in your mouth. It made your stomach erupt in butterflies, the taste of you and the man you’ve only dreamt about for years now on your tongue.
A crack of thunder shook you from your silent reverie, and Jin removed his fingers from his mouth before wrapping both arms around you and tugging you down to lie face to face on the mused sleeping bags.
“Now, aren’t you glad we did this?” He asked with a chuckle and a kiss to your nose.
You wrinkled your brow and smiled coyly.
“I would have enjoyed it more if you hadn’t gotten us lost.”
Jin pouted and huffed.
“I didn’t get us lost,” he sniffed with indignation. “The map was wrong.”

Moral Insanity - Andy Barber smut
The one where you’re Jacob’s friend and Andy fucks you on a balcony.
Warnings: this is divorced! Andy and college! Jacob, so while there’s a definite age gap there, reader is legal. So other warnings go: semi-public sex, a lot of dirty talking, no daddy kink on this one, which came as a surprise even to me, curse words and really rough sex. p in v, porn with little plot, masturbation (f). A/N: Kinktober Day 27 prompts were sex on a balcony or window + “Don’t cum yet”. Hope you guys like this one, I feel like it was a good one, but if I had more time, I could probably make it better. I think that’s kind of the sentiment behind the whole kinktober, actually.
Andy’s P.O.V.
Even the strongest of wills caved when faced with a sweet enough temptation. All it took was one look and I knew she was mine.
Perhaps I should have known better than to let Jacob invite his friends to our beach house, but I was recently divorced and in desperate need to feel cool again, even if I knew that trying to be seen like that by my own kid would only lead me to the opposite direction. And maybe I also forgot just how old he was, ignored that he was now in college and saw the image of his teenage years when I looked at him, because the truth was, when I saw her walking in, I was frozen in my spot.
I didn’t even consider that my son was old enough to have sleepovers with girls now. And when I had to confront my own desire for the much younger girl who he introduced as a friend, in my own eyes, he grew up too.
But I still had to face the reality that she was undeniably young enough to be my daughter.
“Good morning, Mr. B.” My head automatically whipped around to look at the ray of sunshine personified in the body of Jacob’s college best friend. I’d heard about her before, obviously, and even teased him about being embarrassed to admit that he was dating her, but now that I knew the girl I could only acknowledge the fact that she was way out of his league.
Maybe I shouldn’t retroactively feel relieved about their relationship being so innocent, but I was way past denying the attraction I felt for her. My goal now was to keep it hidden, despite just how enticing she was.
“Good morning, Y/N. You do know you’re on spring break, right? There’s no need to keep waking up so early.” I chanced a glance up at her, to find her looking out at the balcony, towards the sea.
“I know,” she nodded, her eyes still focused on a distant point before they suddenly met mine. “I just like to keep you company.” I didn’t know what to say, so I just resumed my previous activity of frying bacon, letting the silence of the morning fill the space between us. Surprisingly enough, it wasn’t uncomfortable. Maybe because in the last few days I’d had the chance of striking up many conversations with her - which only added to my attraction, since she was an incredibly intelligent woman - so I felt like I knew her enough, by now. Enough for what, I didn’t know.
“Well, the eggs are ready. Will you accompany me to breakfast?” We made idle chit chat before two of her friends made their way downstairs, my signal to leave them alone. As much as I liked to view myself as young at heart, I remembered just how weird it was when adults tried to force their presence into a group, and I wasn’t about to do that.
Just before I left, her eyes met mine in a longing stare, and it felt like she wanted to say something, but refrained from doing so. But perhaps it was just my hopeful imagination, wanting her to like my company as much as I enjoyed hers.
The next time I saw her, it was lunch already. Jacob and his friends had spent the day between the beach and the pool, while I remained in the bedroom returning some calls from the office. When I finally joined them downstairs, I was once again shocked by the view of her glistening wet body in what could only be described as a barely there bikini.
She caught me staring, that much I knew and I couldn’t really admonish myself for my lack of restraint, not when I hadn’t seen that much of her body yet and it was driving me crazy. Besides, I definitely wasn’t the only one staring, perhaps just the only who really shouldn’t be doing it.
“Why are you pouting?” Was the first thing I asked her when she approached the kitchen island where I fixed myself a sandwich, making sure to keep my eyes on the bread slices in my hands, instead of on her chest.
“You left me alone with dumb and dumber! In the middle of a conversation about the Supreme Court! You really know how to make a girl feel interesting, Mr. B.” My heartbeat sped up in my chest, my mind racing with the possibility that she was flirting with me. Was she? How could I know?
From my experience being single, I knew the only way was to slowly reciprocate it and hope for the best. Hopefully I’d be able to get out of it if she ever called me out on it. “You are interesting, Y/N. I’m the one who’s a boring old man. Say, what happened to the bathing suits you were wearing until today?”
My question made her look down to her own body, like she didn’t remember what she was wearing until I asked. When she did return her eyes to mine, she was biting her lip, though it was hard to assess if it was due to embarrassment or excitement for my acknowledgement.
“I lost a bet to the other girls. They gave me one of their bikinis to wear for the day, knowing I don’t usually wear them because they make me uncomfortable.” She looked downright adorable, the pout back on her lips at the memory, and I had to shake my head to swipe away the thought of leaning over and kissing it away.
“Well, I think you look great.” That was all I considered safe to say, but I did throw a wink in her direction before picking up my plate and moving to my bedroom, where I still had some work to go through while I ate. I didn’t look back to witness her reaction, but hoped she’d be at least a little intrigued by my sudden expression of interest.
Y/N’s P.O.V.
“You sure you don’t wanna go with us?” I nodded patiently, confirming for the upteenth time that I did in fact desired to stay back at Jacob’s huge beach house instead of following my friends to a noisy, sweaty club. I’d never really liked those environments, so it wasn’t that weird that I ditched them for whatever crime show was on tv for tonight, but in the back of my mind, I knew it was more than that.
I wanted to see Andy again. I wanted to have the opportunity to talk to him without the fear of being interrupted or judged. So really, it wasn’t any surprise to me that after everyone left for the night, I could barely sit still in front of the television, quickly deciding to turn it off and go look for the man that had been plaguing my thoughts for the last few days.
I paced in front of the door to his room for a while before finally gathering the courage to knock, expecting him to open it and follow me downstairs so we could talk. So I was beyond surprised when he simply ordered me to get in without even asking who was there, but I hesitated only for a few seconds before complying.
It was clear by Andy’s expression that he wasn’t expecting to see me, and all at once I realized he must have thought it was Jacob that wanted to speak with him, after all, no one else had probably ventured to this part of the house besides his son and himself. So I was beyond sheepish as I remained by the door when he lifted an eyebrow to ask me what I was doing there. “I thought you guys had gone out to a club or something.”
“I-I decided to stay back here and I was wondering if you wanted to chat.” Now both of his eyebrows were lifted, like he couldn’t believe what he had heard. In the seconds of silence that followed, my mind finally processed the fact that what Andy was wearing weren’t swimsuits, but boxers, and there wasn’t anything else covering his body from my wandering gaze. His hair was wet, too, like he’d just gotten out of a shower, but none of that distracted me from the fact that in those few seconds of silence, his expression changed from incredulous to something entirely different, something I couldn’t really pinpoint, but made my body feel hotter than the sun.
“You wanted to chat?” The question sounded more like an accusation and I found myself giving a step back when I realized that Andy had crossed the room to stand right in front of me, his eyes taking in every inch of skin the bikini exposed. “You wanted to chat,” he repeated, and I gulped before opening my mouth to explain myself, even though I wasn’t entirely sure of what I should be explaining, when his hands found their way to the door behind me and he closed it before settling them in the dark wood, caging me between my escape and himself. “You come into my room when your friends are out and we’re the only two people in the house, dressed like that after spending the last few days driving me absolutely insane, and you tell me you want to chat?”
Andy’s P.O.V.
God fucking damn. This girl had to be completely unaware of her effect over me or absolutely intent on having me going crazy over how badly I wanted her, because it was impossible for her to have waltzed into my room without knowing that this was how I would react.
Still, I had to admit it came half as a surprise even to myself, so maybe I shouldn’t judge her too harshly. Maybe if I hadn’t just tugged one out to the thoughts of her and spilled over myself so badly I had to take a shower, I would be able to ignore the temptation. But as it were, she’d just incited the beast within me, and all I needed was the confirmation that she wanted this just as badly as I did so I could take her exactly like I’d been dreaming about for the last few days.
She heaved as she looked up at me with unmistakable lust-filled eyes, and I felt an insurmountable amount of pride spread through my chest at the knowledge that this desirable young woman was affected by me.
“Well, now that you’re offering me an option, I’ve been wanting your cock in my mouth.” The surprise that hit me over hearing those words fall out of her innocent lips was soon overtook by my desperate need to have her, and with a growl, I pulled her by the back of her head to meet my lips in a furious kiss.
Completely immersed in the taste of cinnamon on her lips, I bit on the lower one to beg her for entrance so I could graze my tongue on hers, taking up the opportunity to finally feel her body against mine. I pressed her up against the door, running my hands over her body before I reached the back of her thighs, pulling her to wrap her legs around my body.
In a few quick strides, we were through the open doors that led to the balcony from where I had a perfect view of the sea, and when I let her go to stand on her own legs, she looked around, clearly confused about my choice of place.
“Did you think you could tease me like that and not get punished? Oh no, you tempted me publicly, I’ll fuck you right here.” It was easy to see that the shiver that ran through her body wasn’t completely due to the wind that was caressing our bodies, she was aroused by the idea. Still, I knew she had a fight in her, so the second she opened her mouth to argue, I lunged at her, capturing her lips with mine again.
The beauty of a bikini. One simple movement and the top piece was on the floor and my hands were full with her breasts, my fingers occupied with circling her hardened nipples as I kept kissing her with all that I had.
“Now, princess…” Leaving her lips to kiss down her jaw, my fingers found their way inside her little bottom piece before they teased her, testing her wetness to find her dripping for me. “I know you said you wanted my cock in your mouth, but I think we can leave that for later, huh? Right now, I really need to have you. So you’re gonna cum real quick, with my fingers deep inside this tight pussy, before I bend you over the rail and rail you.”
I fucked her quickly and harshly, making sure to hit her sweet spot every time when I managed to find her, while I distracted myself from my throbbing cock by nibbling on her earlobe and imprinting her scent in my memory. When she did cum, it was with a breathless gasp as she held tightly onto my biceps, and I groaned just from the feeling of her tightness squeezing my digits.
“I gotta have you now.” That was all the warning I gave before I did just what I promised, bending her over before pushing her bikini bottoms and sliding home. Our moans echoed each other, only fueling my arousal to a point where I couldn’t really wait for her to adjust to my size. So I just started pounding into her, keeping a grip on her hip and another on her hair as I watched her ass slap back against me, her breasts bouncing with the force of my thrusts.
“So fucking tight.” I bit my lip so hard I tasted metal in an effort not to cum too quickly, but it only made me hornier. “C’mon, sweetheart. Tell me how much you love being ruined by me. Don’t you wish your friends would get back sooner, so they’d see just how great you are at taking my cock?”
She cried out at my words, her legs shaking with the effort to keep herself up, but the sight before me was too fucking pretty to let her go. “Been dreaming about my cock deep inside this pretty pussy, haven’t you? Just like I’ve been jerking off to the thought of these pretty little lips wrapped around it.” Having pulled her against my chest by her hair, I rubbed her lower lip before pushing my thumb inside her mouth, where she eagerly started to suck just like I imagined.
“Won’t have to think about it anymore, will I? Because you’ll let me fuck you any time I want. Every time I get hard thinking about you, you’ll bend over for me to take you and I won’t have to say a single word.” I could feel her pussy clenching periodically because of my words, but I wasn’t quite there yet. I still needed a few more minutes of fucking this tight young pussy and I wanted her to cum with me, so I ordered, “Don’t cum yet,” giving a quick slap over her clit before holding her by her throat so I could kiss her cheek.
“Tell me, baby. Tell me how badly you wanted my cock, how much you want my cum and I’ll let you have it. I’ll let you milk me dry inside this pretty little pussy until it’s dripping out of you.”
I knew she was having a hard time trying to contain her orgasm, but she still managed to beg me while holding the hand that was pawing at her breast. “Please, Andy, Mr. Barber. I need your cum inside of me, sir. ‘Ve been thinking about it for so long. Please, let me cum with you.”
The sir did it for me. With one last command for her to cum, I allowed myself to release deep inside of her, sliding my hand to her lower stomach so I could feel myself and making her clench again at the feeling.
We stayed like that for a few minutes, catching our breath while staring out into the ocean, until my softened cock slipped out of her, and I gave her a quick kiss on the shoulder. “It’s a pretty view,” she murmured, and I chuckled before turning her to look at me.
“Not as pretty as you. And hey, as great as this was, I want you to know that I really want to get to know you better, Y/N. Talking to you every morning has been the highlight of my day and I’m in desperate need of something like that.”
She smiled before standing up on her tiptoes to deposit a quick kiss on my lips. “Sounds good to me, Mr. Barber. Now, have you ever gone skinny dipping?”

Story skips the unnecessary will they wont they and the couple end up dating early on
Lots of self indulgence moments where the girl needs rescuing
Early 2000s goth fashion
Boy who goes absolutely feral when the protagonist is threatened
Down the Spiral +16
Short and sweet. No big world building
Heavy theme of karma
Without spoiling too much its just a tragedy, no one makes it to the end unscathed
If you like stories where the protagonist does morally ambitious stuff then this is for you
In fact majority of the cast is unlikable in a likeable way
Questions go unanswered but it benefits the story
The main character is a lolita
Trigger warning dogs die :(
Surprise ending!
*The ages just refer to what audience ages I think are appropriate to consume these stories
#my writing#original writing#original characters#original story#I plan on adding more I just really wanted to post this right now

More Than Today (Richard Winters x Reader)
So this has been in my wips for MONTHS. But here we are! I know its also been a hot minute since I’ve written any BOB fics. Sorry, friends. Hope you enjoy!

Paris.
City of Light.
City of Love.
Dick Winters just wished the soldier behind him would stop bumping his chair as he laughed at another dirty joke.
It had not been his idea to be here. Apparently Sink thought he needed a break. Nixon and Welsh ganged up on him, practically forcing him to pack his bag and get on the train.
Now that he was here though….it was nice.
He would never admit how many steaming, hot baths he had taken since finding his hotel room. Plus, sleeping in a real, soft bed- his bones sang with joy at the reprieve from the hard, army cot it had been subjected to for years now.
Tomorrow morning he was supposed to be leaving. His last 24 hours in Paris. Truthfully, he had done nothing, just rest. Both physically and mentally. He knew if he returned without having visited some kind of touristy place, both Nixon and Welsh would be furious. Though, he would have to have a conversation with Nix. It was not until Dick started unpacking that he found the box of condoms Nix must have slipped into his bag when he was not looking.
Sometimes he wondered why he put up with the man. Even that thought made him smile. Somehow him and Nix, they just clicked. Completely polar opposites but maybe that was what allowed their friendship to take root and grow.
The soldier behind Dick laughed loudly, rocking his chair back with the movement and knocking into Dick once again. He grimaced, just saving himself from spilling coffee onto his Class A uniform. He knew he outrank the man behind him and all his friends, he could easily say something…. but that seemed like a battle not worth fighting.
He quickly finished his small cup of coffee, relishing the actual bitter taste of the drink verse the watery stuff the army supplied. Standing up, he pulled out the change from his pocket, ready to leave a tip for the nice waitress.
"There you are!" A feminine voice called out with a distinctly British accent.
Dick lifted his head, knowing she was not talking to him but still curious. But then the strangest thing happened. He looked up and met her eyes as she walked past the few other tables. A blinding smile lit up her face and he felt his heartbeat stutter at how beautiful it was. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see the others sitting around watching her with interest but her eyes remained solely focused on him.
When she came to his side, she gently placed a hand on his forearm and lifted up slightly on her toes to press a quick kiss to his cheek. "I'm so sorry I am late, love. I lost track of time. Do we still have time for a cup or shall we go?" She easily asked, as she slid down into the extra chair at the table.
He stood frozen for a moment, his mind questioning everything that just happened. Thankfully, his body went on autopilot and he sat back down in his chair. "Uh…. it’s fine."
"Lovely!" She beamed, waving a hand to get the attention of the waitress.
As he stared at her, his mind finally seemed to feel the tension hidden just below the surface of her overly-sunny disposition. Her hands laid in her lap, a white-knuckle grip on her small purse though. A friendly smile remained on her face but her eyes kept shifting warily over to the other side of the street, like prey keeping a predator in its peripheral.
Confused and now concerned, he peered over to where her eyes kept shooting. Two men stood across the street watching her with sullen expressions. Their uniforms informed him they were US army, the chevrons on their sleeves stated they were both sergeants.
Dick turned back to her and lowered his voice, even though he guessed over the noise of those around him, the men would not hear. "Ma'am, are you alright?"
"Wait." She said sharply, even though her smile never faltered. Then the waitress approached and the woman ordered a cup of tea with enthusiasm. Dick found himself ordering another cup of coffee per her insistence.
Finally, the waitress walked away, having had a brief conversation about the lovely color of lipstick she wore with the woman across from him after taking their orders.
It was then the woman peeked across the street once more. Whatever she saw, Dick watched the tension ease out of her. He glanced over to see the two men making their way back down the street.
"Bloody hell." She muttered, dropping her face in her hands.
"Are you alright? Were those men bothering you?"
"Mmm? Oh, no, well yes. They kept following me even after I told them I was meeting my fiancé. I am so terribly sorry I dragged you into this, it was either find someone to pretend to be my fiancé or find an alley nearby and stab them. I quite like this dress and would prefer not to get blood on it today."
He just stared at her, unsure how to take her answer. He would have thought it was a joke but with the way she casually answered, as if stating the sky was blue, he assumed she was serious. "Um, right." He coughed, not quite sure where to take the conversation from there. Luckily, she seemed to notice.
"Is there somewhere you need to go? I truly am sorry for holding you up. I'll pay for your coffee when the waitress returns, it's the least I can do. Don't feel like you have to stay here just for me."
"No, no. It's alright, ma'am. I was just…." His voice trailed off.
She smiled softly at him, folding her hands in her lap. "Are you stationed here in Paris?"
At that moment, the waitress returned with their ordered drinks.
"No." He answered her prior question, watching her take a sip from her cup. His own cup sat between his hands but he felt no need to drink it yet. "My CO demanded I take a 72-hour pass."
"Mmm….so you are one of those?" She laughed lightly at the look of confusion on his expressive face. "A CO who actually cares about his men, focuses on making sure they are taken care of, instead of spending time with the other officers wasting all his money on booze and women."
"Um…." He could feel a warmth spreading over his face. Hoping to hide it, he brought his cup to his lips and took a sip.
"It's alright, sir. We need more officers like you in this damn war. What's your name?"
That he could easily answer. "Lieutenant Dick Winters, Easy Company, 506th, Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airbourne."
"Pleasure to meet you, Lieutenant Winters. I'm y/n y/l/n. So Airbourne, hmmm? I've heard about you. Tell me about your training."
And somehow Dick found himself telling her about Currahee, about the jumps at Mackall, the field drills in Upottery, even laughing about Sobel's antics with her.
Eventually, their cups ran dry.
"Where are you off to now?" She asked pleasantly.
Dick answered honestly, feeling relaxed in her presence. "I'm not sure."
"Well, it so happens I was on my way to visit the Notre-Dame Cathedral. Would you like to join me?"
"Sure."
Dick insisted on paying for both of their drinks, claiming his mother would read him the riot act if he allowed a woman to pay for her own. As they walked away from the cafe, she slipped her arm through his like they had done it a million times. Instead of feeling embarrassed or uncomfortable at the unexpected physical touch, he found himself smiling down at her.
What started off as a day without any intended plan, just enjoying not being on the front line or behind a desk writing reports, became one of the most enjoyable days of his life. After the Cathedral, they wandered along the Seine, stopping at any shop or attraction that caught their eye. She regaled him with different facts or histories of places they saw and other locations in Paris. Before the war, she had spent some time in Paris and now, having returned as a translator, she felt it was even more important to remember those things that the Nazis tried so hard to destroy.
Soon conversations turned to their own experiences at home, his in Pennsylvania and hers in London. The more they talked, the more he found himself attracted to her beyond the physical. She was a breath of fresh air amongst the smog of war. A ray of sunshine to remind him that above the dark clouds of War, the sun still resided. But even if the day was spent in laughter and companionship, a war still brewed outside. A painful reminder to what Dick's priorities should be. So, he promised himself that he would enjoy her company now, but once he left Paris, he would put her out of his mind. His men and the war came first.
As night settled over the city, they walked side by side back to her hotel. It was not too far from his own, thus he refused to listen to her protests and told her he would escort her back for her own safety.
"Well, this is me." She stopped in front of the lovely hotel. "Thank you for escorting me."
"It's the least I can do. You spent the whole day being my tour guide."
"That sounds dreadfully boring. But you'll have stories to share with that Nixon friend of yours. Though he may be more impressed if you bring him back a vintage bottle of wine."
"No, he only drinks Vat 69. Lord knows where the man keeps finding the stuff."
"Besides your footlocker?"
"Yeah, besides that." He chuckled at her jest and the mischievous smile on her face. As they stood there, smiling at one another, he found himself wishing they had more time. That perhaps he had met her before or after the war and had been able to court her properly. For now though, he would cherish their time together. "Thank you for today."
Her smile held a hint of sadness in it, as if she lamented their separation just as much as he did. "I pray our paths will cross again."
"Goodnight, y/n."
"Goodnight, Dick."
He stepped back, lingering a moment longer to gaze at her. After, he turned and started to walk away. The hour was late and they both needed to sleep. It was less than 8 hours until his train was to depart in the morning and he knew it would be wise to enjoy his soft bed one more time before returning to a hard, army cot.
"Dick!"
He spun around, surprised to see her walking towards him, her heels clicking loudly on the sidewalk.
"Is everything alright?"
Without acknowledging his question, she pressed her lips to his in an eager kiss. Dick liked to consider himself a gentleman, never to take advantage of anyone, especially a woman. In this moment though, as all thoughts fled under her touch, his body reacted on instinct. His arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her flush against him while their lips parted, deepening the kiss. She moaned into his mouth, tasting like the wine she sipped on at dinner, her hands tightly gripping the lapels of his uniform. Heat coursed through his body as their tongues tangled together. He felt hypnotized, unable to pull away, to maintain propriety. Nor did he want too. She nipped at his bottom lip and his knees almost buckled underneath him. This moment was pleasure and fire, something he never experienced before….and something he wanted to revisit over and over with her.
After only a second and eternity combined, they both pulled back with swollen lips and breathless. Rising on her toes, she gave him a quick peck on the lips, a single flame compared to the bonfire they just lavished themselves in. Swiftly, she stepped back, running her hands over her dress.
"Goodnight…. don’t tell Nixon about this."
He nodded, almost shyly, mind still reeling from their shared passion. "Yes, ma'am."
With a playful, flirty wink, she twirled around and headed back towards her hotel, her heels clicking loudly on the ground.
Dick watched her walk away, lips still tingling and residual flames teasing his nerves. His eyes traced over her form, hoping to memorize it, to be able to always savor this moment. Looking up to the heavens, he silently prayed that one day, their paths would cross, one day he could perhaps pursue her, one day he could feel her lips against his again.
*****
"So, you still haven't said much about your time in Paris." Nixon prodded, sipping from his canteen that certainly was not water. The intelligence officer had been relentlessly interrogating his friend about his pass for the past week.
Dick rolled his eyes, not even glancing over. "Not much to say, Nix."
"You had to have done something! Come on! It's Paris!"
"I saw the Notre-Dame."
"Hey, that's something. Stop pressing him, Nix." Welsh butted in with his typical lazy grin. He reclined in the extra chair next to Nixon. "He did return the condoms."
"For Pete's sake." Dick muttered as he listened to the two men laugh. He stood looking out the window of his office, overlooking Easy Company below being drilled by Lieutenant Dike. Again. There was something to be said about being prepared but this went beyond that.
"Harry, how long have they been out there now?" He asked, not removing his gaze from his men.
Welsh sighed, glancing at the clock. "About two hours now."
"Right, come on. Let's go relieve them."
The other two scrambled to their feet, following Dick out of his office and down through the labyrinth of the HQ building. Lieutenant Dike had come with high expectations but the more Dick watched the man, the more worried he became.
"You're too soft on them." Nixon teased, trailing behind him.
Dick gave a quick salute to some officers they passed, never missing a step as he responded. "They aren't learning anything by marching back and forth out there besides ways to murder their CO."
"Was that a joke? Holy fuck. Did you hear that, Harry? Dick made a joke! Paris changed you."
"I heard. Still in shock." Welsh deadpanned.
Dick sighed good-naturedly as they stepped outside the building. Slipping his cap on, he started in the direction of his newest Lieutenant. The footsteps of his companions falling in step behind him.
"Dick!"
His feet screeched to a halt. He knew that voice. Whipping around, he was greeted by the sight of her. Someone he thought he would never truly see again. A beautiful, blinding smile on her face as she hurried towards him. His heart rapidly pounded within his chest, giving away his shock and joy at seeing her.
"Y/n? What are you doing here?" He could not help sweeping his eyes over her, surprised to see her in a WAC uniform. Though it did nothing to diminish her beauty.
"I was asked to be a translator and help with deciphering coded messages." She answered casually as if she had not just revolutionized his world. Standing in front of him, she motioned to the army camp around them. "Is this where you are stationed?"
"Yeah, yeah, it is."
"Oh, that's lovely. We'll be able to see each other again. I am late for a meeting otherwise I'd love to chat. Could I see you tomorrow for a cuppa?"
"Um, sure. Yes."
"Perfect. I'll find you in the afternoon." She raised up on her toes and gave him a quick peck on the lips, causing his mind to short-circuit. "It's good seeing you, Dick."
With that she spun on her heel and sashayed away, leaving all three men standing there shocked.
"Who was that?" Nixon demanded, gaze never leaving her retreating form.
"Y/n…. I met her in Paris."
Nixon smacked him on the arm. "You bastard, you said nothing happened there."
"Nothing happened." Dick tried to defend, even if the excuse sounded weak in his own ears. Besides, for him, something certainly did happen.
"Probably should have kept those condoms, Dick." Welsh said, clapping him on the shoulder with a chuckle.
And for a brief moment, Dick wondered if he was right.

Tags/Warnings: Suggestive content towards the end, thought of insecurities and self-doubt, a tad bit of arguing
Word Count: 2.4k
Request are: Open
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Kiyoko! You look so gorgeous today my goddess!”
A sigh leaves your lips as you hear the voice of your boyfriend and his best friend bounce off the gym walls. Your eyes glance over to them, watching as Nishinoya and Tanaka make heart eyes at the other manger. Carefully, you set down the now filled water bottles next to the bench for the guys, just slightly regretting your choices of choosing to help the team out today. The squeaking of the boy’s shoes against the hardwood flooring of the gym ring your ears as Coach Ukai calls for them all to begin practice. You stand up just in time to see Noya pass you, not even giving you a second glance as he rushes onto the court like the ball of energy he is.
You have slowly gotten accustomed to Noya’s typically obliviousness to you whenever Kiyoko was around, her presence always seeming to overshine yours, even in your own boyfriend’s eyes. You’ve only been dating for a few months, and within those few months, you come to realize that there are only 2 important women in his life:
1. Kiyoko
2. You
In that exact order
You weren’t sure if people on the team noticed the way he ignored your entire being but seeing the way Ennoshita or even Daichi would look at you when Noya would start on one of his Kiyoko tangents you think they did
You didn’t hate Kiyoko, no, not at all, you completely understood why the boys gush over here like she’s gorgeous, but for your boyfriend to not even compliment you in the way he does her it hurts.
“Y/n!”
Your headshot up as Noya’s voice rang in your ear, a smile crossing your face as he speaks your name. A hopeful part of you waiting to hear sweet praise or maybe even a simple ‘you’re looking good’ from him
“Can you toss me that ball?”
The moment the words leave his mouth, you almost want to burst right there, not out of anger, but sadness. Your chest aches as your glance over to the volleyball that had landed next to you, your smile not once fading as you go to pick up the light ball before Yachi quickly grabbed it looking furious.
“How dare you Noya! Y/N deserves to be treated as more than-”
Thunk
Your eyes grew wide as Yachi fell to the ground, her shoelaces pulling down her small feet.
“Ow, that really hurt!” She whimpered her now timid voice sent a shiver down the boy’s spine as they all stared directly at her.
A sigh left your mouth, your eyes rolling in annoyance...you knew exactly what would happen next.
Suddenly all the boys rushed to her side slowly pushing you further away as they leaned down to assist the now blushing Yachi. You were grateful that they helped her but a pinch of guilt bothered you again as you heard Noya and Tanaka whispering about how cute she looked as her face was lit up in embarrassment.
“Y/n?” Kiyoko’s soft voice begins, a gentle resting on your shoulder as you turn your head to meet the woman standing next to you, who you didn’t even notice was there, to begin with.
You hum in response, too scared to speak in case the tears that were slowly building behind your eyes decided to fall.
“He loves you,” She says simply, a soft smile resting on her face as she looks at you
You scoff, crossing your arms across your chest as you tilt your head down to face the floor, a lump growing in your throat. For a moment you think to reply to her ‘I think he loves you more’ or even ‘I doubt that’, but instead the words that leave your mouth are
“I know”
Did you believe the words you spoke? No, not one bit, but you didn’t want to have her worry for you or even speak to you any longer. Kiyoko simply nods at your repose, before silently walking away, back to the coaches as the boys continue on their practice game.
Yachi had gotten up now throwing the ball across the gym floor causing the boys to sprint after it like a pack of hungry wolves.
You realized a more accurate version of your list put you even further down:
Kiyoko
Yachi
You
Before the game even finishes you leave, not being able to watch your boyfriend play and always checking to make sure Kiyoko or the new manager Yachi were watching his epic ‘rolling thunder’ move. It felt weird to not walk home with Noya by your side, always jumping around and holding a popsicle tightly in his hand while the other held yours. The way he’d look at you with such love and adoration while you two laid together watching movies or even when you both would chill at the park always sent your heart racing, but lately, it seemed as if that look in his eyes were gone, maybe you were just being delirious, but you couldn’t help but think maybe he lost feelings. The only worst part of today was the fact that your 4-month anniversary was coming up soon, a small part of your mind wondering if you’d even be able to make it to the 4-month mark.
It was around 7 pm when you finally received a text from him, a simple
Where did you go?
You sighed, debating on telling him the truth or plain out lying. You hated lying to Noya but, you also hate being too harsh on the truth. Your eyes close as you lay your head against the headboard of your bed, your shoulder relaxing into the soft pillows, before lifting the phone above your face and replying
I went home Yuu
The text to you sounded a bit more passive-aggressive than intended, as you reread over it after sending it. Within minutes there’s already a reply, a bit of your heart jumping at how quick he responded.
Oh, okay
A frown took place of the tiny smile that tried to show on your lips, your chest almost hurting at the comment. Without a reply, you threw your phone back onto your bed, watching as it bounces off the mattress and onto the floor below. A groan leaves your lips as you stare down at your phone, not even bothering to pick up the phone that was now lying face down. Your eyes glance at the clock, the red numbers of the clock showing 8:15 pm, the sun almost completely set, a gorgeous purple and orange sky shining into your room. You watch as a group of birds fly against the sky, the darkness of the birds looking almost like a painting against the sunset. Exhaustion from the long day at school and the stress from watching your boyfriend’s reactions at practice quickly began to catch up to you the more your body began to relax against your bed, your eyes slowly closing sleeping trying to overtake you.
**********
A soft knock against your bedroom door woke you, the door opening with a creak and filling the once darkened room with the light from the hallway.
“What is it?” You call out, your voice slightly hoarse from how dry your throat had become
There’s an eerie moment of silence, as your bedroom door closes and the floorboards began to creak as someone walks across the room. Your eyes open and try to adjust to the dark room, just in time to notice the person laying something down in your desk chair before making their way to your bed. Lifting a hand your rub your eyes, before you reach over to your nightstand and flipping on your lamp.
“Yuu?” You mumble, noticing the short figure that stood in front of you “What are you doing here?”
“You didn’t answer my texts” He spoke, a hint of a pout in his voice as he comes to stand by your bed
You rub your eyes one last time before sitting up, the warm sheets slowly falling down your arms letting the cool air rush against your skin.
“You texted me?” You asked, not remembering ever getting a text from him or even hearing the little ringtone he chose himself
You lifted your arms up to stretch, before picking up your phone that laid on the nightstand, opening the bright screen to see a bunch of texts from him.
Are you okay? Daichi texted me telling me you looked upset before you left Y/n? You okay? y/n? I’m coming over
A sigh left your mouth as you set your phone back down, only this time laying it on the bed. You lifted your head, your eyes meeting for a split second before Nishinoya climbed onto your bed, sitting across from you.
“What’s up sunshine?” Nishnoya asks, his head tilting to the side like a curious puppy.
Your gaze moves from him as you shrug your shoulders, although you knew exactly what was wrong. Instinctively you went to the play with the edge of your blanket, trying to find a way to calm the anxiety creeping up in the back of your mind.
“Promise you won’t be mad?” You ask, not looking at him, embarrassed to tell him the truth.
“Of course not! I’d never be mad at you” He assures, one of his hands reaching out and grabbing yours, giving it a small squeeze before his eyes met yours
“Are you still- I mean do you still...like me?” The question bounced off your lips, the words fading into the silence of the dimly lit room.
Noya looked at you confused, his hand moving to tuck your hair behind your ear.
“I’m confused, of course, I still like you, you’re my girlfriend and I-”
“Then why don’t you act like it!” You shouted, cutting Noya off causing his eyes to grow wide before your own filled with tears.
You had pushed him away now, unable to stop the waterfall of emotions and tears. He stared at you for a moment in shock before grabbing your arms, putting them on either side of you begging for you to look at him.
“I- I don’t understand Y/N, what did I do?”
You scoffed as he stared at you waiting for an answer, “Seriously Noya,” you said purposely avoiding his first name, “how can you not tell?!”
He stared at you dumbfounded, causing you to sit up all the way, angrier than before.
“How do you think it makes me feel to see you flirt all day with Kiyoko or Yachi and not even bear me a second glance! Why in the hell am I your girlfriend when you obviously would rather have one of them?!”
Noya frowned and quickly put his hand under your chin, causing your eyes to meet with his again. “Why would I ever want anyone over you, Y/N?”
You sniffled your anger fading as you looked into his sincere eyes. “You constantly flirt with them Yuu, and it hurts.”
His eyes grew wide as he realized why you were upset.
“Y/N, I’m so sorry I didn’t think-”
“That’s the problem Yuu,” You whisper avoiding his sharp eyes, “you don’t think.”
You realized that you had gone too far when you saw the look that spread across Noya’s face.
“Yuu I-”
“You’re right.” He got up off of the bed, his feet hitting the floor before he headed towards the door.
You quickly realized what was happening and ran after him grabbing his wrist before he shut the door. You walked out after him, slowly shutting your bedroom door before leaning up against it, afraid to look at him and see what you had done.
“I’m sorry.” You whispered moving your hand into his, interlocking your fingers not wanting him to leave.
“You don’t have to be.” He whispered turning around and slamming his hand against the door.
His eyes were swelling with tears as he buried his face in your neck.
“Yuu…”
“I never meant to hurt you, I don’t deserve you Y/N, I’m so sorry…” His voice came out in fragments as he tried to regain his composure.
“It’s okay..” you lied, not wanting to hurt him anymore before he pulled back in shock.
“Y/n, I know it’s not, god I never wanted you to think you were anything less than the most important thing that had happened to me.”
“What?” You whisper, unsure if you heard him right.
“You’re the best thing that has ever happened to me Y/n.”
Your eyes fill with tears as you throw yourself into his arms, gripping him tightly as his hand slowly starts to stroke your messy hair.
“That’s all I wanted to hear.” You whisper against the fabric of his bright orange uniform.
“It’s not enough Y/n, I promise I will never make you feel like that again, you’re the only girl I’d ever want.”
His hand suddenly slips into the pocket of his shorts pulling out a small, black box.
“I was going to wait until our anniversary to give this to you but I think it makes more sense to give it to you now.”
You slowly open the box to find a set of matching rings, each engraved with the day Noya asked you out all those months ago.
“I love it.” You whisper, grabbing the smaller ring for yourself and slipping the medium-sized onto his.
His eyes meet with you before he suddenly leans forward pressing his lips against yours, causing you to drop the soft, black box in shock.
Your arms instinctively go around his neck as he picks you up, your legs wrapped around his waist as he pushes you against the door. His hands slipped under your school uniform you forgot to change out of earlier that day, the ring cold against your skin.
His hand starts reaching for the doorknob, struggling to get it open as he refuses to take his eyes off of you.
“Yuu..” You whimper as the door opens and he whisks you inside, slamming it behind you as he tosses you on the bed.
He groans against your neck as he lands on top of you, your legs instantly falling open, locking around his waist.
“Let me show you how much you mean to me, Y/n.” He says staring directly into your eyes as his body moves closer.
Your face turns a bright red as he rips off the buttons on your once nice uniform and throws in onto the floor where your phone had landed just hours ago. His breath tickled against the side of your neck as he started to leave a mark against your soft skin before his hands started to trace the lace in your exposed bra.
“Please..” you whisper, afraid and excited about what Noya would do next.
Look at Me, Senpai - Hinata x Reader x Daichi (Pt. 3)
Summary: Reader starts to see Hinata in a different light once he returns from Brazil. It turns out Hinata’s inability to give up isn’t just something restricted to the court. (~1.8k words)
Warnings: fem!reader, nsfw, infidelity, a touch of the yandere
A/N: Idk how long this fic is gonna get but we’re nearing the big mess. I hope you enjoy reading and let me know what you think!
Part 1|| Part 2 || Part 3 || Part 4 || Part 5
---
Leave him.
Hinata’s voice still rang in the back of your head but you would ignore it. Today, you would try on wedding dresses. You’d chosen Daichi, after all.
You trailed behind your older sister, who had flown in from overseas just for the occasion, and your mother who chattered excitedly between themselves, linked arm in arm, as they essentially tore through the bridal shop ahead of you.
“Try this, ___! It’s so beautiful and just look at that embroidery!” your sister insisted, almost snatching a backless and lacy gown from the hands of a terrified employee.
“No, this looks better!” Your mother pushed back, pulling another dress off the rack with no decorum to the other employee’s obvious dismay.
“Look at how high that collar is! Is she getting married to God?”
Meanwhile, you wondered if it was sacrilegious to be wearing white at the wedding given the circumstances.
If you truly loved him, you wouldn’t be like this with me. Why pretend?
Why not be 100% true to yourself?
Hinata’s dreadful honesty continued to weigh heavily on you as you weaved in and out of dresses, feigning excitement as best you could in order to not tip off your annoyingly perceptive sister.
Only marry someone you love.
“You look beautiful, ___. I think this is the one,” your sister spoke up from the outside, now slipping into the dressing room to get a first glance at you once your mother slipped off for a quick bathroom break.
You whispered a word of thanks as you looked yourself now clad in the one you had also settled on as the perfect gown in the full length mirror, trying to envision the look on Daichi’s face as you came down the aisle, the picture of an angel in the flesh, promising to devote yourself to him forever. You could see your sister purse her lips behind you from the reflection, and you knew she was sizing up your facial expressions.
Oh God, maybe she wouldn’t-
“Cold feet?”
She did.
Your heart sank as you bit your lip, trying to hold back tears, but before you could your sister continued in a soft voice.
“It’s not unnatural to have cold feet.” She took a seat in the small stool set at the corner of the room and crossed her legs before looking at you carefully, a reassuring smile spread on her face. “You remember that I almost ran away the day of my wedding, right?”
The image of her drunk and crying two nights before, eerily calm one night before and practically jumping out the window in her own white dress thirty minutes before she gracefully walked down the aisle came to mind and you found yourself stifling a laugh. She smiled in response to your reaction, all was not lost as long as you could still laugh.
“It’ll be fine, as long as you love him.”
Did you love him?
“How were you sure?” You asked now as you hastily slipped out of the dress. A part of you wondered if you were just being dramatic, but the gentle fabric felt as though it were tightening on your skin despite being the perfect fit.
She let out a sigh and crossed her arms over her chest.
“I want to say something wise and romantic, like, ‘it was when we met eyes’ or ‘when he walked three miles in the snow to change my flat tire’, but to be honest, it was probably when I realized I couldn’t imagine life with anyone else. I know that sounds cliché but it’s the honest truth.”
She looked you in the eyes and sensed the waters muddying within rather than clearing up, and pursed her lips.
“If you want to tell me what’s going on, you can.”
Your body tensed for a millisecond. You knew you could tell her anything, but this? Cheating on your fiancé so shamelessly right after the engagement? There were limits to human understanding, but then again, maybe admonishment from someone you trusted would get you on the right track.
You opened your mouth to speak but before you could offer up a single word, your mother rushed back into the room.
“Why’d you take off the dress before I could see it???” She fussed, and you grinned in response to her disappointed expression before switching back to the task at hand.
“Quick, put it back on!”
You would spare sissy dear the awful details.
---
Hinata didn’t call or text for the following week, and by the fifth day, the phantom rings and vibrations of your cell phone had started to drive you crazy. It was hard to concentrate on your art, on tasks of daily life, or preparing your wedding when all you could see flash in your mind’s eyes was what he looked like when you were under him. You told yourself it was the afterglow of lust and would eventually pass.
As if to palliate the pain of your separation, Daichi started to come home earlier than usual, and it began with him popping home at exactly noon on the next Saturday with flowers just because, an assortment of chocolates and takeout from your favorite restaurant.
“Let’s have a picnic,” he suggested, with a kiss on the forehead for his best girl.
You turned off your phone as you followed him out to the small park down the street, spending the early afternoon basking in the sunshine of spring and the warmth of Daichi’s affectionate regard.
Daichi pulled you into his arms as usual as you watched children play in the park with furry companions, couples riding bicycles and old ladies exchange gossip (and maybe launch a few surreptitious glances at the two of you). While the two of you were not strangers to public displays of affection, you couldn’t deny that you were beginning to become uncomfortable the more you noticed people looking at you. You couldn’t shake the nagging feeling that maybe suddenly they were seeing you not as a regular couple at the park but for who you really were: a woman with a terrible secret and a man who was none the wiser.
Did it matter if you chose to be good to him from now on? Would that account for the betrayal?
Would that erase the fact that a small part of you wished Hinata was holding you right now instead?
---
Two weeks passed and you fought the urge to call Hinata Shoyo.
By now you knew it was something other than lust that drew you to him, now that Daichi took the time to satisfy the need for carnal intimacy every few nights, even if it wasn’t quite the passion of before, when you had just graduated from high school and all you had were your hopes for the future and each other, but a different type of practiced passion altogether between you.
Daichi knew all the things you liked and exactly how to make your body react in the way he wanted it to but while you were satisfied, you were still wanting.
Of what? Could you really say it was Hinata that you needed after such a short time together?
Daichi’s lips and tongue trailed down your soft belly as he held on firmly to your wrists above you, teasing you with promises of entering your privacy every time his mouth drew near, then wandered back up to your bosom.
“Not yet, darling, just wait for me like this.”
He leaned in, pressing his length against your thigh, forcing you to arch your back and buck against him, but he wouldn’t indulge you, laughing softly while his hold preventing you from reaching out to him remained steady.
“P-please, I want you, Daichi, just let me feel you, please.”
He had been edging you for the past twenty minutes but it felt more like hours and your body craved the feeling of fullness between your legs.
“You want to feel me, baby girl?” He growled, earning you a lash of the tongue right at your sex, sending a current through your spine.
“Yes...,” you let out a whimper, “please let me feel you.”
“This isn’t enough?” He asked, between licks and slurps of your wet cunt. “You taste so sweet for me, little baby, what if this is all I want to do now?”
Your mind swam with muddled pleasure as you closed your eyes and you were no longer thinking straight, all you had left in you was the ability to beg.
“Please, please put it inside me,” you continued to whine as he nibbled on one of your lower lips.
“Beg for Daddy’s cock,” he said, now kissing your mouth again, a large hand now gripping both of your wrists to hold you back as he pressed against you, the pressure on your chest and the pressure of his member just knocking at your entrance making it hard for you to breathe.
“P-please stop teasing me, S-Shoyo.”
A pause.
“What?” Daichi’s voice had reverted back to his regular voice, no longer thick with lusty mischief but with confusion, and he stopped his movements, unsure as to what you were trying to say to him. His grip relaxed around your hands, setting you free.
Your heart stopped as a panic set in, sobering you up almost entirely and you had to think fast, fast, fast.
“C-can ‘shoyu’ be out safeword, babe? I just wanna try something today, something a little different...” you mumbled, surprising yourself with how quickly you could lie under pressure. Awful. You were so awful.
He gave you a confused look, given that you didn’t usually use safewords, but it wasn’t a bad idea anyway, and he nodded with a small shrug before resuming with kisses to your neck.
Your heart continued to pound and you hoped he didn’t notice that the drum of your heartbeat now played fear. That was a close one.
Something had to give soon.
---
The next day, Daichi seemed to have expedited that process for you.
“Hey, I’m gonna have Hinata come for dinner tomorrow night,” he called out from the shower casually as you started your skincare routine. If not for the fact that you were literally splashing cold water in your face, there would be no other reason for the ice now running through your veins.
“No problem right? I can come back early to help you make dinner beforehand.”
“... No problem.”
ALSO I’M SO SORRY THIS IS SO LATE MANY MANY APOLOGIES
A/n: I wrote this with some ideas I got from @cestcirque and her smau (which you absolutely must check out!) for this soulmate au, when you look into the eyes of your soulmate your world changes from black and whites to bursting with color. This is also post time skip so Atsumu is a wonderful black jackal
Pairing: Miya Atsumu x photographer!fem!reader
once again I got carried away what else did you expect from me
Warnings: 18+, smut, daddy calling, biting, slight edging, oral (fem receiving), fingering, vaginal penetration, relatively tame!
Enjoy your meal
~~~~~~~~
With sweat dripping down his face, Miya Atsumu was bursting with energy. It was down to the final point of the match and he was itching to win. It’s already been over a month since Hinata joined MSBY and their chemistry on the court has been proven a formidable force. First against the Adlers, and now with his former high school teammates team, EJP. His eyes are alight with a fire and desire to win. He can feel the rush of winning cloud over him as he keeps his eye on his teammates, setting the ball perfectly to the man everyone describes as an orange haired ball of sunshine in order to score the final set point. The yell of victory leaves his throat before he can process everything. His eyes scans the crowd of fans that have come to watch him, being excited but also a pang of emptiness hits him.
If only he could see the colors everyone talks about around him.
Everything is greyscale for the man, who he’s been told has a strange yellow hue to his hair. Atsumu didn’t know what the color would look like but liked how it would be marked as different and easy to see when you get to see color. He resents the fact that his twin Osamu laughs freely at his hair color. The normal haired twin, to him, had met his soulmate in one of his business classes and demanded a facetime with his twin. Atsumu was angry at first, but on the inside was happy his brother had met his soulmate and his life bursting with color.
Surely, he’d meet his soon right?
Atsumu is pulled from his thoughts when Bokuto wraps his arm around his shoulder to pull him into a hug and briefly chat.
“Hey hey hey! Why didn’t you set it to me at the end, huh? You can’t keep giving Hinata all the glory!”
“They were expectin’ ya. I couldn’t Bo. ‘Sides, we won that’s all that matters.”
The flash of cameras after games were very common. With different sports magazines and editors showing up to cover the game, it was something the team was used to. As per usual, a camera-person came up to him and Bokuto, completely ignoring who was taking the picture focusing on the lens. Once his eyes meet the lens, he puts on his signature smile and puts a thumbs up with his teammate for the photo op.
It had all happened so fast.
You had been called to fill in at the last minute to take photos for the MSBY Black Jackals volleyball game. You didn’t think anything of it other than doing a favor for a friend. And this was an incredible opportunity for you, an amazing way to expand your sprouting portfolio. In this world of soulmates you live in, it was unheard of. Your pictures and photos always came out with the utmost care and perfection, despite not being able to see any of the colors to truly work the right lighting and angles. Even though touching and editing required the use of being able to see colors, somehow your eyes went beyond that and captured everything in a natural way that everyone could understand the message and point of all your photos.
It was absolutely exquisite and breathtaking.
You had never been to a volleyball game before and you were hit with how exciting it was. The energy from the players and the fast fed into your blood as you began and continued to capture pictures of the game. It wasn’t just a regular game, it was an experience and you figured it was different for everyone. And as you felt that, you knew you wanted to capture it.
It was in moments like these you envied those around you who were able to see color. You yearned for the day you would be able to see all the colors that your peers and employers have paraded you for. Hopefully when you finally meet the one, you’ll be able to do your job even better.
Before you knew it, the game had ended and you were doing what all the other photographers were doing by taking pictures of the tired and sweaty players as they interact with each other and their fans. You slowly walk toward the court, fixing and switching your lenses for up close pictures. You happen to place your camera right at your eye, seeing two players not looking your way yet as they were engaged in their own private conversation. Once you get their attention, you make eye contact with both before snapping the picture.
You had almost dropped your camera, lucky for the strap around your neck holding it together. You don’t even check your camera, knowing the picture came out horrible. But as you hold the black camera in your hands with your jaw slack-
Wait, black? That’s right it’s black.
And one of the two players in front of you had a matched expression on his face.
Atsumu should have asked his brother what it would be like when he meets his soulmate in order to prepare himself. He’s seriously kicking himself now as the bright white lights bounce of the beige and tan floor of the wooden court. He looks down to see his black and white jersey, the streaks of red and green on certain parts of the floor, the blues, yellows, and whites of the volleyball...
And the all encasing beauty that was you.
Everything about you was stunning, he wasn’t sure where to look next. However his thoughts were interrupted by a boisterous yell next to him.
“Hey ‘Tsumu! Why’d you stop?”
The blond haired man turns to his friend and gives him a new look over. “Did ya know yer hair is two diff’rent colors?”
Bokuto freezes and attempts to look up at his hair and smiles widely. “Yeah! Yukie keeps it nice for me and- No way! Where are they?”
The owl like man quickly shakes his head back and forth throughout the crowd looking for his teammates soulmate is! He’s interrupted with a tap on the shoulder from the man in question.
Atsumu points to where you’re still starstruck, taking in everything around you.
“Her.”
You felt as if time had lost all meaning as the colors all around you began to come to life, being as lively and vibrant as everyone above you had described. You had zero expectations of ever meeting your soulmate, let alone at a randomly assigned job. You’re unaware of what your body is doing, but your feet are moving across the plane as you walk closer to the man who’s staring at you in a way you’d always hoped to be gazed at.
He’s taller than you thought he’d be up close, but you can smell his musk and sweat and you’re not turned off like you’d always been. The way his bright yellow hair matches his personality, from what you’ve seen, on the court makes your heart melt. It’s almost like everything about him is perfect. The way his eyes are tired but full of vitality isn’t lost on you, and he seems to see the same thing in yours.
Atsumu for once is at a loss for words. There’s so many ways he had pictured this going but surely not like this. He opens his mouth to speak, but his eyes catch a gathering crowd.
“Aw, shoot. There’s for sure gonna be a crowd comin’. Meet me after by the exit? I promise I’ll make it quick...”
“(Y-y/n).”
He chuckles and places one hand on his hip and the other in his hair. “Heh, cute name for a cutie like ya self. Name’s Atsumu. Wait for me will ya?”
You merely nod and watch him smirk at you before he meets up with his teammates to celebrate their win. You’re left standing there trying to process what just happened as he turns around one more time to wink at you. If you could melt, you would. You gather your yourself, pick up your camera and try to stealthily avoid any reporters and the like. Since this was your first volleyball match, you had no idea the power just being in the presence of Miya Atsumu held.
Fan girls and other photographers began to swarm you as you attempted to blend in the crowd. All these women had beautiful hair, beautiful complexions; you couldn’t wait to start taking photos in color. Not the right thought to have as you’re getting bombarded but what can you do?
Luckily you’re swept away by another photographer who saw your pain and helped you out. You thanked her and followed her to where the media had access. She wished you luck as she led you to where Atsumu wanted you to meet him.
About 30 minutes later, he comes out with a few of his teammates, laughing gleefully and somehow that made your heart flutter. How did you get paired up with a man like this? The soulmate gods must have really been looking out for you.
Once his beautiful deep eyes meet yours, his gaze softens as he walks toward you. His teammates tell him goodbye and that they’ll message him later. As he approaches you, he has to pinch himself to realize that this is real and it’s happening to him.
He speaks up first again, eager to hear your voice again. “Hiya.”
You giggle at his intro. To him, it sounded like heaven opened up and the angels were singing all around him. He gets to have this laugh to himself? Call himself blessed.
“I never thought I’d actually meet ma soulmate. And yet, here ya are.”
He extends his hand out to you and you take it, noticing how warm and calloused it is against yours. There’s no way life could be this perfect. You rub your thumb on the back of his palm and stare into his eyes.
“Here we are.”
************
You’d think you’d be used to hosting events for his teammates at your shared place after almost a couple years of being together. but something always surprises you. This time, it turned out fate was working in mysterious ways today. On the way to your place, Hinata had met his soulmate and brought them to the gathering! Needless to say they were overwhelmed but in a good way. Sakusa was slightly concerned over the presence of someone new whom he didn’t know very well, but tolerated it for his friend’s happiness.
You’ve just finished washing the dishes as Atsumu dries whatever is left. You wipe your brow and sigh heavily. Your boyfriend looks over to you and smirks.
“Whatcha thinkin’ bout baby?”
You smirk at him before leaning your head on his shoulder, “just, life I guess.”
The young man sighs contentedly, places the dried dishes in the rack, and kisses your forehead. “Care to elaborate? Or am I gonna have to tickle the info outta ya?”
You hear the smirk in his tone as he wraps his arms around your waist, pinching and tickling your sides. Your laugh bubbles in the air as you squeal and squirm against Atsumu’s grip. His tout body keeps you against him, holding you tight so you can’t escape his embrace. “’Tsumu! I give, I give!”
“Nuh uh babycakes,” he growls in your ear, “I’m not done with ya.”
You laugh harder as you feel him lift you off the ground, turn you around, and sit you on the counter. With his hands firmly on your waist, he surprises you with a small yet passionate kiss on the lips. Your hands fall onto his neck and face to pull him closer to you.
You pull away and notice him bite his lip. “What was that for?” You don’t miss the way his eyes glaze over as you question him.
“I just love ya so much. I never thought life would be s’ fulfilling once I got some color into it. Thought it was all mumbo jumbo, whatever.” He places his body in between your legs, letting your breaths intermingle. “Ya love my team, my friends, my family, and most importantly,” he trails off brushing your noses together.
“Ya love me.”
“You’re such a sap.”
“Hah?! But that’s why ya love me, right?”
You keep teasing him as you continue to touch along his broad shoulders. “Nah, I’m mostly in it for the money.” You peck his nose and grin at his pouting features.
“Aw c’mon (Y/n)! Yer making almost as much as me with all yer photos,” he argues back, missing your teasing tone. You can’t help but laugh at the pout your soulmate is giving you. It’s almost too easy to fake argue with him to get him riled up.
You lay your head on his shoulder and can’t hold back your laughs. “Baby,” you coo, “you know I’m teasing you right?”
Since you can’t see his face, you don’t see the ever growing smirk as he nods into you. The blond tightens his grip on your hips, pulling you into his crotch so your neck is free for him to attack with his lips. He starts to kiss and suck lightly on your open neck, catching you off guard.
“Oh I know baby,” he lightly grinds his clothed erection against you, “I was just messin’ with ya.”
You lift your head in fake anger, but it dissolves when the lust in his eyes matches yours. He steals your lips before you could protest or bite back a response. The burning desire within you begins to rise as you feel his cock against your core, causing you to moan lowly into his mouth.
“Mmm, feel my cock baby? Feels good, yeah? Been wantin to touch ya all evenin’.” He then brings your legs to wrap around his waist and continues to kiss you seductively. You feel his tongue swipe at your bottom lip before entering your mouth. His deep groan into went straight to your core and you move your hips into him. Atsumu lifts an eyebrow before pulling away, loving the connection of saliva between your lips.
“I can already feel how wet ya are fer me, baby. Ya really want daddy that bad, huh?”
You can’t help but shiver at his voice when he says daddy to you and wiggle your hips, knowing what you’re in for. A whine leaves your lips as you pull him into your chest to feel him against you and so you can whisper in his ear how much you want him, your daddy.
Atsumu bites his lip and rolls his hips into yours at hearing and feeling your breath on his ear. He then promptly lifts you up, rest thing his lips to yours as his hands grope and fondle your ass. You can’t help but shift around as he carries you to your shared bedroom, seeking friction in any capacity. Atsumu chuckles darkly feeling you struggle against him, breaking the kiss to suck on your neck. If there was something he loved more than volleyball or you, it was leaving marks and traces of him all over you. Satisfied with the mark he left he growls out,
“I can’t wait to fuckin’ destroy you, princess.”
With that, you’re dropped onto the bed, awaiting orders from your love. His whole aura switched from teasing and playful in the kitchen to a sexual dom and you were living for it.
“Take off yer shirt off, I wanna see all of ya.”
You lick your lips and nod, slowly removing your shirt and making a show of it. You don’t miss the way he bites his lip and whispers out a low “fuck” as you undress. You leave your bra on knowing that’s one of Atsumu’s favorite things to take off of you. You place your hands on the hem of your leggings and look to him, as if to ask him if it’s okay. He nods and you slowly remove them from your body, leaving you in your bra and thong ready for him on the bed.
The tall blond stalks toward the bed and situates himself in-between your legs. He brings his lips to your inner thigh, his brown eyes on you to watch for your reactions. His lips trail up the sensitive skin, kissing and biting as he gets closer to your awaiting heat. But he doesn’t give you what you want, not yet. He hears you whine as he moves to your other thigh and repeats the same actions. He can feel the heat your pussy is emanating, already seeing your juices leak out.
You whimper out, “fuck, please just do it!”
He sniffs, enjoying your smell as he slowly pushes your thong to the side. “Please what baby? Ya gotta use yer words.”
You hips roll as his fingertips graze over where you want him the most. You hate his teasing nature, but you love the reward you get after. “P-please just put your tongue in me!”
Atsumu snickers before enticingly putting his tongue into your slit, making you gasp out and grab at his hair. He hums happily as he laps at you greedily. His tongue swirls inside of you in the best way. Your hips move off the mattress as your voice lets curses and whines escape.
“Nuh uh baby girl. Ya gotta stay still fer daddy.” At that you feel a weight on your pelvis, realizing its his arm to hold you steady. With you unable to move, the need for release bubbles faster. Your breathing gets deeper and your voice rises an octave. Atsumu was always a king with his tongue, and for some reason tonight he was pulling out all the stops. Once you think you can catch your breath, he sucks hard on your clit and inserts a finger into you.
“Haah, fuck daddy!”
He laughs into your cunt and you moan at the vibrations. His tongue directly on your clit is making you see stars. He slyly inserts a second finger, already feeling you clench and tighten around him. That won’t do. He can’t have you cumming on just his fingers, but he does need to prep you. Before putting a third finger in, he sucks on your swollen nub to have you screaming in pleasure. His fingers scissor and stretch you out and it takes everything in him to not add a fourth. He knows you two haven’t discussed it so he knew to table it for another time.
“Shit, I’m gonna, I’m gonna cum. Please daddy can I cum?”
That makes him take his eyes off his fingers and to look at you directly and ceases his actions. He slowly pulls his fingers out of you and crawls on top of you. “Suck,” he commands and you do as you’re told. You’re a little miffed at not being able to cum as your pussy clenches at nothing while you suck his fingers. You know you’re doing a good job when you hear him groan and lose eye contact with you. You get into the valleys of his fingers and he moans, “yeah ya like daddy’s fingers? I know ya do. Now kiss me.”
He tilts your head up and you meet his lips in a sloppy kiss, tasting yourself again but on his lips. You feel him align his warm dick with your slick entrance and whine into the kiss. You break away from the kiss to tap his shoulder.
“Wait ‘Tsumu,” you pant, “condom?”
He stops everything before frantically reaching for the nightstand. Atsumu knows he can get carried away when he’s in the moment, so he knows that when he gets tapped on the shoulder he’s forgotten something or needs to slow down.
“Ah sorry, baby.” His voice sinks as he sucks his teeth feeling the rubber cover his dick. “Are we okay ta keep goin’?”
You smile and nod at him, placing your hands on his chest in reassurance. He meets your smile and kisses your lips softly. “You ready ta take daddy’s hard cock?”
“Fuck,” you moan, “just fuck me already-Ah!”
He didn’t need anymore goading as he slides himself inside you. Your walls tighten around him and he has to control himself from wanting to pound into you. He waits for you to adjust to him before he pulls out almost all the way before your hips meet again.
“Ya feel so good, princess. Ya like the way daddy fucks ya?”
You nod aimlessly. “Yes! Please, I want more!”
His smile is evil as he grabs one of your legs and hoists it on his shoulder. “Be careful what ya wish fer,” he growls before snapping his hips forward. The two of you whine and moan together, unable to hear the sound of your juices and his hips squelching. “Aw fuck, baby ya feel too good.” He’s got one hand on your leg to hold it against his chest and the other rests lazily on your hip. He continues to fuck you into the mattress, your hands holding onto the head board behind you. Atsumu catches this and is displeased. He abruptly stops and places your leg down and around his waist, doing the same to your other leg, You look at him confused, “why, what are you doing?”
“I didn’t like the way you were grabbin’ the headboard, so you’re gonna grab onta me.”
With that he keeps pounding into you, now with your arms around his back. He’s never admitted it, but he loves the way you scratch and grip at his back when you two have sex. It drives him wild. “That’s it, baby. Hold on ta daddy as he fucks ya.”
Your garble out something as you hold him harder, realizing a free hand had escaped your upper body and has snaked its way to your clit. He begins to rub small and fast circles on the swollen nub, grinning at your reactions. He’s never sure which part he loves best: the way your voice gets incredibly lewd or how tight you get around him. This time he thinks it’s both. He continues to rub at your clit vigorously while pounding you all the same.
Sweat clings to each of your bodies as the rush of release is evident. Your eyebrows are scrunched tightly as you feel your orgasm coming. With a shaky breath you whimper, “I’m gonna cum, I’m gonna cum. Please lemme cum daddy. I’ve been so good!”
His hips rut into you as he chases his own release. “Yeah ya have. Been such a good girl fer me. Fuck baby ya feel amazin’! I’m gonna cum so hard. Cum with me baby girl.” His body moves faster the closer he gets to climax. Your legs are shaking and your toes curled as you feel the coil within you come undone.
You scream out, “I’m cumming baby, I’m cum-ah fuck!”
You tighten around him, causing him to curse and whine as he loses his rhythm. “Shit baby girl, I hnng,” he feels the condom fill with his seed as he humps the both of you through your orgasms. His grip on you loosens as he comes down from his high, rubbing them with comfort. He stays on top of you but not pressing down into you. The afterglow the two of you bask in is always something he looks forward to. His breathing returns to normal after a couple minutes of the two of you just laying with each other.
“Fuck ‘Tsumu,” you croak out, “that was s-so good. Could you pull out?”
Atsumu lazily nods and slowly pulls out of you, not wanting to cause you any pain. Once he’s out, he gets off the bed and takes off the condom, tying it up and placing it in the trash can. He returns to the bed to place a kiss on your forehead before whispering, “You were so good ta me. Lemme grab us some water and towels, yeah? Do ya want a shower or a bath?”
You groan and roll to your side. “Some water.”
“Baby, I know, but a bath or shower?”
“I can barely move, Atsumu, what do you think?”
He chuckles before leaving the room and announcing, “I’ll get tha bath started.” He’s gone for a few minutes, but returns with two water bottles and a towel as you hear the bathtub being filled with water. He sits down next to you and places the bottles down. He opens one and hands it to you. You thank him and drink down about half of the bottle. He drinks from his own and uses his empty hand to trace the curve of your face.
“Hey (Y/n)”
You lift your eyebrow at him, giving him your attention.
“Ya know I love ya, right?”
You hum and nod, sitting up to wrap your arms around his shoulders and give his cheek a kiss. “I love you so much, Atsumu. No one is gonna break our bond okay? We’re soulmates.”
He takes one of your hands into his gently, leaning into your touch. “I know I’m not here a lot cause of volleyball. But I do love ya. Yer my baby girl.”
You chuckle lightly and kiss his cheek again. “Sap.”
“Ya know ya love it. Now let’s go take a bath, yeah?”

Hi! Idk of request are open rn.. but could you do a hinata x reader angst? Where hinata walks in on kageyama and y/n in a position where it looks like they were cheating. But in reality it was nothing like that at all! So hinata gets very mad and says really hurtful things to them. Then word gets around school and people start to bully y/n and kags. However hinata doesn’t care. He never stood up for y/n. Then due to bullying going to far y/n loves school. That’s when y/ns best friend yams goes up to hinata and shows him the video where in fact they were not cheating. But it’s too late. Hinat already lost her. Sorry if the request is too long btw!!

“Do I really have to do this?”
“Yes” you answer as you fix Kageyama’s jersey jacket.
“What am I gonna do again?”
“All you have to do is answer my questions. After this segment, I will film you in action with Shoyo. Are we ready, Yama-kun?”
You ask your classmate and the captain of the Karasuno Men’s Volleyball Team, Yamaguchi Tadashi, waiting for his go signal as he was in charge of the camera. You were in your third year in Karasuno High. You are an active member of the journalism club and your specialty is sports writing. You and Hinata have been together since your second year. It all started when you’ve done a coverage of the Karasuno High Men’s Volleyball team ever since the crows were finally taking flight in the Nationals. Pretty much to say you are close with your batchmates involved with the sport which made your job a bit easier.
You were currently working on a special ad for the team that will be on air in the campus as a way to show support and acknowledgement to the seniors who will be having one last fight --- Yamaguchi Tadashi, Tsukishima Kei, Kageyama Tobio and Hinata Shoyou. In thanks to the manager, you will be also adding a special segment to the woman who’s always been there with the crows, Yachi Hitoka.
“Camera is rolling in 3..2..1..”
As Yamaguchi gestures for you to start, you have him a small nod and put on your game face on.
“Hello Karasuno High! The much anticipated Spring Interhigh tournament is fast approaching and our crows will be taking flight once again. With the excitement to the world of volleyball, our players have quite gained quite a few fans. Here I am with the famous King of the Court, the Karasuno Men’s Volleyball Setter, Kageyama Tobio.”
During the interview segment, things went smoothly due to Kageyama being straightforward with his questions much to your relief. You were glad Yamaguchi was also there to help you. Usually, Yachi is the one who helps you with your journalism when it comes to the team but she had a meeting with Takeda sensei, explaining her absence.
After the interview, it was time for you to do the final segment which was getting to film the iconic duo in action. You told Kageyama to change into his volleyball uniform, with the setter obediently following your instruction.
“Thank you so much for helping me, Yama-kun. Your segment yesterday with Tsukki is great too! I’m very excited to edit it.”
Yamaguchi blushed at your compliment, making him scratch the back of his head in a shy manner.
“You’re really making it hard for us to graduate, (Y/N)-san. This will be your last feature too, is it not?”
“Yup”
Yamaguchi smiles as he saw the gleeful expression on your face. He admired your determination in making the video possible as a tribute to them. Yamaguchi’s sense of determination in leading the team to Nationals has boosted but there was one question bugging in his head.
“(Y/N)-kun, you are a sports writer, right? I don’t recall them doing this extent.”
You stopped what you were doing and looked at Yamaguchi, giving him a sincere smile --- your mind instantly filled with the ray of sunshine that is currently in your life.
“You don’t know how proud I am on how far you all have come. You five were part of the flightless crows who worked hard to spread its wings again. You were there when people would underestimate the team but you all proved them wrong, along with our seniors who graduated also. We all keep moving forward and now, you are your juniors senpais, helping them keeping the crows to keep flying. Not only that, I am so proud of Shoyo. He’s one of the main reasons why I’m motivated to do this. I’m always here to support Shoyo and to all of you --- no matter where we go after we graduate.”
After your speech, your eyes widened as you Yamaguchi’s eyes were watery and he was sniffling, making you panic a little.
“Y-Yams, are you okay?”
“Don’t look at me, (Y/N)-kun! That was so beautiful- wait I’ll be right back!” says Yamaguchi as he hurriedly went to the nearest bathroom --- not wanting for you to see him bawl his eyes out. With a soft chuckle, you turned around to see Kageyema already in his attire and was now setting up the net. Deciding to help, you went to him and gave him a hand.
“What do you need?”
“Could you hand me that screw over there?”
With a nod, you went to the tool box, grabbing the screws Kageyama.
“Do you think Shoyo will go far with volleyball?”
You ask out of the blue, avoiding eye contact with Kageyama as you just stared at the net. It’s not that you doubt Shoyo’s skills but it is a scary world out there. There will be people who will look down on him for different reasons. You just worry. You care for him so much. You admired how Hinata was able to use the mean comments against him as his motivation for him to improve his skills. His positivity and bubbly personality is contagious. He never fails to make you smile when you’re feeling down.
As Kageyama finished the net, he gave you a smirk.
“If that dumbass doesn’t slack, he will. If he does, I’m definitely getting ahead of him.”
A grin made its way on your face. What more could you expect from Hinata’s partner in the court?
As the two of you waited for Hinata and Yamaguchi to come, you and Kageyama had talked a bit about college plans. As the two of you converse, you suddenly noticed something crawling on Kageyama’s jersey shirt.
“Kageyama-kun, there’s something on your shoulder” you say, pointing at it. At first Kageyama was confused to what you meant but when he finally took a look at it, it was spider --- making his eyes widen and panic, letting out a manly shriek.
Kageyama was all over the place, jumping and swatting it away --- to the point where he tried to take the shirt off.
“Kageyama, calm down!”
“It’s on your head!”
“It’s back on your shirt!”
Kageyama felt chills, the hairs on his skin rising as he felt it crawling the back of his neck. The next thing you knew, with Kageyama’s head covered with the shirt that was taken off midway his arms, the setter stumbled onto you, making the both of you fall on the ground with Kageyama on top. Your eyes widen at how close your and Kageyama’s faces are, the setter not able to take in what just happened.
“Get off!”
“Can you help me put my shirt back on? I-if you don’t mind. My hands are sort of restricted” says Kageyama, pointing out that his arms were trapped in the sleeve holes. You sigh and grabbed the hem of his jersey shirt, attempting to pull it down back but the both of you suddenly heard the gym doors open.
“(Y/N)?!”
Hearing an all too familiar voice, you quickly shove Kageyama off of you, sitting up from your spot to see Hinata who froze by the gym doors as he stares at you and Kageyama with wide eyes, his heart beating so fast in his chest.
“W-were you cheating on me?!”
“No baby! It was just an accident-”
“An accident?! It looked like you were taking off his shirt! I can’t believe you’re cheating on me with Bakageyama!”
“No, Shoyo! It definitely doesn’t look what it looks like at all!”
“I trusted you, (Y/N)!”
Tears were starting to form in your eyes, getting a bit angry and frustrated that Hinata wasn’t letting you explain your side. Kageyama noticed this and decided to step in --- defending the both of you.
“Boke, Hinata, boke! Why would I even do that to your girlfriend?! Let us explain what happen-”
“No! I’m so hurt, (Y/N)-chan! You’re the first girl ever that made me really happy but this is how you treat me? Is it because I’m not tall enough?! Is this how you repay my loyalty to you? You’re so heartless! You seem so faithful to me but behind my back, you’re a different person.”
“S-Shoyo-”
“Don’t call me that anymore. I don’t want to see you anymore. We’re done.”
With that, Hinata left the gym, leaving you and Kageyama all alone. You wanted to run after him but you lost your strength and collapsed on the floor, your gaze lingering at the gym doors, tears rolling down your cheeks.
Kageyama panicked a little, not knowing how to comfort you but he just stood beside you and patted your head as you were hugging your figure, too hurt by Hinata’s words.
“That dumbass doesn’t know how to listen.”
“What am I gonna do, Kageyama-kun?”
Kageyama glances at you, a frown on his face. He knows how much you care for Hinata. He can’t help but feel frustrated also being in your position. He also felt bad to what just happened.
“I’m sorry-”
“Don’t apologize, Kageyama. You did nothing wrong. Hinata just misunderstood.”
“That runt will regret for letting you go. I mean, who else could keep up with him?”
As you wiped your tears, you stood up and grabbed your things, heading towards the gym doors.
“I think we’ll call it a day. I’ll message Yams that our filming is finished. I’ll just ask another sports writer to cover you and Hinata’s segment. I don’t think I can face him for awhile.”
Kageyama frowns as he saw your eyes tearing up again but he just nodded, not wanting to press any buttons even further.
“Okay. Get home safely.”
With a sigh, you left the gym heading home, feeling all too drained and hurt. You can’t believe Hinata was able to say those hurtful words to you. In attempts on calling him while walking home, you let out a frustrated groan as he already blocked your number.
“Oh Shoyo. It was all just a misunderstanding.”
Days had passed ever since the incident and break up with Hinata. Word got around fast. You and Kageyama had been the talk of the town as cheaters, making you lose your appetite. People were sending you dirty stares for even daring to cheat on such a pure soul.
There was one time when you ate at the school cafeteria with Yamaguchi and Tsukishima and a group of girls suddenly went to your table, snickering at you and called you a slut. Between Yamaguchi and Tsukishima, it was Yamaguchi who was full on beast mode, defending you.
“Don’t waste your time with these fools, Yamaguchi. They just don’t know how to mind their own business” says Tsukishima as he shakes his head in annoyance. You told Yachi, Yamaguchi and Tsukishima the whole thing. Yachi felt really bad at what happened. She was the one also who keeps comforting Hinata. Tsukishima was in charge of breaking apart Kageyama and Hinata whenever the two started to argue, much to his dismay but he just wants the team to be peaceful and focus on their practices and official games.
Not wanting to eat anymore, you grab your bag and stood up, making Yamaguchi and Tsukishima look at you with worry.
“Where are you going, (Y/N)-san?”
“I’m just gonna go get a breather. I’m not that hungry anyway. See you later” you say with a solemn look on your face then left the cafeteria.
“What are we gonna do, Tsukki?”
“I don’t know. Don’t involve me in their quarrels. It’s tiring.”
Yamaguchi sighs but then he remembers that he left his camera in the gyms while he was in the bathroom. When he returned to the gym, his camera was already battery drained. In hopes to resolve this mess, Yamaguchi checks the contents to see of the camera was still rolling. Much to his relief, it apparently recorded the whole thing. He immediately showed this to Hinata, finally clearing all the misunderstanding.
Hinata regretted on how he acted. He felt his heart breaking even more. He needs to apologize for his wrong doings but it was too late. The twinkle in your eyes as you see him weren’t there anymore. His words really hurt you and you’ll have a difficult time in trusting him again. The bullying around the school made you feel even more damaged.
You told Hinata its best to cool off from the relationship. You needed space. You need to focus on yourself now. You just wanted to forget the words that come out from his mouth.
It was over.
Hinata Shoyo. You were my sunshine, my only sunshine. You made me happy when skies are gray --- but now, the skies weep with me.

ch 6: courting
A tapping distracted her as she flicked through the pages of her textbook. A soft bite to her bottom lip before an exaggerated groan left her lips. “This is so boring,” she pouted, glancing up. Iwaizumi was across the table from her, his fingers drumming on the table as he focused on his own homework. His eyes flicked up before they went back to scanning the problems.
“It’d be less boring if you focused on your actual work instead of looking at me.”
“You’re annoying.”
“You’re just annoyed that I can focus when I study with you, and you can’t.” He brought his cup of tea to his lips, taking a sip. “That or the fact that you didn’t do your homework yesterday when I told you to so now you’re annoyed that you can’t go out.” He flipped a page.
She grunted, rolling her eyes. He was right. The previous day, she’d insisted on cuddling all day so they’d sat on the sofa watching movies. This morning, she’d woken up to a barrage of texts from Oikawa and the rest of the third-years inviting them out for a day at the mall but Iwaizumi refused because they had homework to catch up on. “It’s not my fault that I wanted to spend time with just you.” He ignored her, scribbling down the math to the chemistry problem. Trying to focus, she leaned her face closer to the text, using her hands to prop her head up. Her eyes shifted once more so that she could survey the brooding ace. The glow of the afternoon sun outside illuminated his natural beauty, from his chiseled cheeks to the light in his eyes. Her mind drifted to their first study session.
It had been their third-year of middle school. They were in the process of studying for their high-school entrance exams. Well, Iwaizumi was. She was studying to pass her final exams.
He shifted his weight uncomfortably, a soft pink tinge blossoming in his cheeks. “Hey, do you wanna study with me later today?” She and Oikawa were standing by her locker, chatting about classwork when Iwaizumi had approached them. Brown eyes avoided looking directly at her while he waited for her response.
She turned, a dazzling smile filling her face. “Sure! Where did you want to go?” A tug as she adjusted the shoulder strap on her backpack. He fiddled with the zipper on his jacket.
“How about that new cafe down the street?”
“Sounds perfect. See you later Oikawa-san!” The setter let out squawks of protest, complaining about being ditched as Iwaizumi offered his hand to the Omega. The pink hint dusting her cheeks darkened to red as she put her hand in his. Giggles slipped from her lips as he pulled her away, ordering his best friend to not follow them. Oikawa’s curses and loud whines faded behind them as Iwaizumi led her out the gates of their junior high.
Iwaizumi let out a sigh of relief as they slowed down their pace. “I thought I’d never get rid of him.”
“You can’t say that,” she chided as she nudged him. “He’s your best friend after all!”
Iwaizumi snorted. “More like I’m the idiot who got stuck with him.” His eyes fell on their intertwined fingers, red roses blooming in the apples of his cheeks as he quickly averted his eyes again. In the corner of his eyes, he could see her soft smile. “I’m really glad you were at that game.” He muttered under his breath.
“Me too.” Iwaizumi jolted, unaware that she had caught his comment. She was like a beam of sunshine, it was hard to be upset or to feel negative emotions when you were around her. “I can’t believe we never ran into each other sooner, especially since we’ve been at the same school this whole time.” The bell chimed as they entered the cafe. Iwaizumi’s head swung around, spying an empty table by the windows. He let go of her hand, placing it on the small of her back to guide her to the table.
“Get comfortable,” he ordered before he let his voice soften. “What do you want to drink?”
She hummed as she tapped her chin. “Do you mind getting me a green tea?”
“Anything for you princess.” He pressed his lips to her forehead, practically falling over his own feet as he escaped towards the counter. Her cheeks glowed as her fingers brushed against the warm spot he had just touched. She couldn’t resist the giggles that overtook her as she sat down and got comfortable. A few minutes later, Iwaizumi came back with two cups of tea. She spied the red glow of his ears as he cleared his throat, placing the cups down beside her book.
“Thank you, Iwaizumi!”
He sat down in front of her, taking a sip of his tea to calm his nerves. “Y’know...since we’re mates or whatever...you can just call me Hajime.” Her tongue burned as she accidentally took too big of a sip, eyes watering at the pain. “Oi, that’s hot dumbass!” He scolded, taking the cup away from her as he pulled his water bottle out and handed it to her.
As she drank the cooling liquid, she sent him an apologetic look. “I’m sorry, I wasn’t expecting that.” She swallowed as shyness overcame her nerves. “You can call me (Name).” Her voice was barely above a whisper, but he caught every word. With a grin, he pulled out an entrance exam booklet.
Twenty minutes or so had passed when she decided she needed a break. Standing up, she stretched. “Where are you going?” Iwaizumi looked up from his booklet, eyebrows furrowing at her sudden movement.
“I’ll be right back, I’m going to go to the restroom.” Her smile blinded him as he slowly nodded, watching her back as she walked away. As she finished her business and finished washing her hands, she looked at herself in the mirror. “I can’t believe I’m here right now.” She squealed as she hugged herself.
Stepping out of the bathroom, she took her seat back in front of Iwaizumi, flashing him another smile. “Here you go!” Her attention was caught as a waiter delicately placed a slice of [favorite cake] in between them. “Enjoy!”
“Hajime?” She turned to look quizzically at her mate.
His cheeks darkened as he looked out the window. “I figured I would treat you since this is our first date or whatever.”
He was startled when soft lips pressed against his cheek. “Thank you!” She squealed, practically bouncing in excitement. A glitter of gold caught the light, causing her to pause. Her heart fluttered. “Is this..?”
He carefully watched her, his heart freezing. “Well, I know I’m your bond-mate, but I figured we’d make it officially, y’know?” His cheeks burned.
“Oh Haji, it’s so beautiful,” she beamed. “Can you put it on for me?”
She pulled her hair to the side as he stood up, making his way to her side as he placed the necklace on for her. Her fingers brushed the pendant as she looked down at it fondly. “I hope you like it.” His eyes glowed as he inhaled her warm strawberry scent.
“I do, I love it.” Her thumb rubbed the pendant. “I’m definitely the luckiest girl in the world, aren’t I?” Her eyes sparkled, meeting his as she took a bite of her pastry. She let out another squeal, bouncing in her seat.
As Iwaizumi watched her take another bite of the pastry, he chewed on his cheek. ‘I think I’m the lucky one here,’ he thought to himself as she offered a forkful to him. Carefully eating it, Iwaizumi silently nodded to himself. He was definitely the lucky one.
The memory faded as Iwaizumi let out a deep sigh. A ball of paper bounced off her forehead causing her to squeal indignantly. “Stop getting distracted. You go to Shiratorizawa, shouldn’t you be a better student?”
“Asshole,” she grumbled. Iwaizumi flicked her, causing her to yelp and protest loudly.
He stood up, making his way past her into the kitchen to refill their mugs. Her mate placed a fond kiss over the red blemish he had left. “I love you.”
“Love you too!” She replied. “Though I wish you weren’t such a hard-ass,” she muttered under her breath.
“Haaaah?”
“Nothing baby!”
****
“I don’t know why I feel this way.” Ushijima laid in his dorm bed, head propped up by his pillow as he stared at the bed above him.
Tendou glanced over, spinning his chair. “Feel what way, Wakatoshi?”
Ushijima hesitated, brows furrowed. “I...I feel different when I’m around (Name). Almost like I always want to be around her, but when I’m around her, I still don’t feel complete.” He sighed, not looking, knowing that Tendou’s brows had furrowed in that mocking way it does.
Tendou tapped on his chin. “Do you like her?”
Ushijima glanced over at the red-head. “Like her? She does a good job of being our manager, I don’t have a reason to dislike her.”
Tendou cackled, “Not like that Wakatoshi! Do you see her in a romantic sense perhaps?” His eyes narrowed playfully, a smirk sliding across his face.
“A romantic sense?” Ushijima thought about it before shaking his head. “I don’t think so. Besides, she already has a mate.” A flicker of pain shot through his heart as his Alpha snarled Vermillion eyes widened at the sudden noise.
“Your Alpha seems to disagree.” He commented, leaning back and spinning the chair as he thought. “What happened during your tryst at the game?”
A sigh escaped Ushijima, he didn’t really want to go into details. If he was being honest, he was still embarrassed that he’d so easily lost control. “Nothing really,” he replied. “I was walking to get a water refill when the sweetest scent distracted me. I took her into some locker room to help her through her heat.” He sat passively, recalling some of the words that had left him. Lowering his voice, he added shamefully, “My alpha told her to be mine.” His cheeks felt warm at the admission.
Tendou looked down at his captain. “That’s probably why you feel this way, your alpha already recognises her as your Omega and that’s why you feel so conflicted.” He shrugged.
“But she already has a mate.”
“Guessing your Alpha doesn’t really care about that~!” Tendou teased before his smirk dropped, growing serious. “Have you talked to her since it happened?”
Ushijima remained silent a moment longer before sighing again. “I apologized to her for my actions and asked her to be our manager. Since then, we haven’t approached the subject.”
“Do you know how she feels about it?” Ushijima shook his head. “Maybe she also feels some type of way towards you, but feels confused because she feels an obligation to her mate.” A growl tore from Ushijima’s lips, causing both boys to freeze. “Ushijima.” Tendou adopted a firm voice now, channeling a bit of the Alpha voice he rarely used. “Like it or not, she’s already accepted courtship with another alpha. You either have to let this Omega go, or somehow win her affections.” He looked at the ceiling, “Besides, aren’t Omegas allowed to have two Alphas?”
“You’re right Tendou.” With that, he stood up. “I’m going to go for a run.”
“It’s nearly curfew!” Tendou cried, as the door snapped shut behind the Apex Alpha.
His feet slammed against the ground, his arms at his sides. Energy pulsed through him, and he pushed himself. Harder. Faster. Better. Ushijima hadn’t been entirely honest with Tendou. The reason that he had followed the strawberry scent was because it was one he had met many years ago. Flashes of images swarmed his mind as he let it wander.
It was after his final tournament in middle school. The strawberry scent had wafted out throughout the game, but right when he was receiving his Best Spiker Award, it consumed him. Olive eyes glowed as it scanned the audience, subtly taking in big sniffs as he tried to locate it. But somehow the scent had disappeared. “Ushijima! Let’s go to the locker room.” His team-mate shook him out of his reverie. It was just a scent, he thought to himself. Making his way back to the locker-room, he froze. The scent was potent here. He couldn’t stop himself, he followed the scent down the hall and was about to head through the open doors at the end of the hall when a firm hand gripped his shoulder.
“Ushijima! You did an excellent job. You’ll do fine things at Shiratorizawa Academy.” He turned, greeting his coach.
“Thank you, Coach.”
“Come on, the bus is ready, we’re about to head out.” With his coach’s hand on his shoulders guiding him, he left the delicious scent behind, promising to find it next time.
The memory faded to black and he silently cursed himself. If only he had been more persistent, if only he had found the source, he could’ve been the one holding her in his arms. The alpha had originally thought that he was going crazy when he scented her again. At every single game he’s been at, he would subconsciously always check the air to see if she was there to no avail. This time, there was nothing to stop him from finding it. It hadn’t been difficult, since she was literally in the middle of the bustling hallway.
He froze in his tracks, gulping. The source of the scent was more intoxicating than he could have imagined. She was definitely the most attractive person he had ever met, and the scent. His mouth watered at it; he couldn’t remember anything smelling as sweet. Just by this single whiff, he was addicted. If he could replace oxygen with it, he would. Another gulp as he steeled his nerves. As he got closer, he realized why it had been exceptionally sweeter. She was in heat.
His hand made contact, and he almost shivered at the feeling of her soft flesh under his calloused fingers. A burning feeling coursed through his veins, electricity shooting up his body. He knew immediately that he couldn’t let her escape again, but his team briefly crossed his mind. If he had found her intoxicating, then so would others. She would serve as a distraction. For the good of his team, he had to take care of this heat now. Or at least, that’s what he used to justify what he did. Secretly, he just wanted to hide the Omega away from the world. She was his, after all. Ushijima swung his head around, olive eyes narrowing at the other males. A few other Alphas were tentatively approaching her, but they backed away when they saw him hovering behind her. Ushijima knew he needed to take her away now so that nobody else would have her.
When the door of the restroom had slammed open and he was greeted with the bitter pine scent, Ushijima had to fight his straining Alpha. He had initially noticed the lingering pine scent masked under strawberry, but had ignored it - assuming that it was from casual brushes with a friend. Now, he could see that the Omega already had an Alpha. With great reluctance, he left, pausing only to whisper, “Better keep a closer eye on your plaything, Iwaizumi. Otherwise someone will snap her up.” Silently he added, The moment you are gone, I will reclaim my Omega. Giving her one last nod, Ushijima stepped out into the hall.
“Wakatoshi-kun, there you are!”
“Hello, Tendou.”
“Jeez, you reek of Omega, what happened?” Tendou pestered as they walked back to the court.
“I was helping an Omega.”
“Before our match?” Tendou made a scandalized noise as they re-entered the court before he started cackling. “You sly dog!”
“Ushijima-kun, get warmed up now!” Washijo scowled. “Don’t disappear during tournaments, you know better.”
“My apologies, Coach.” Olive eyes wandered to the other court, catching a glimpse of the teal-and-white players escorting her. As he went through his warm-ups, he watched the Seijoh pack greet her, recoiling slightly when Iwaizumi snapped at them. She was bundled up in an oversized Seijoh jacket, and was quickly ushered to the coaches’ bench. Her dazzling smile peeked up over the collar, exposing a black choker. It sparked a mixture of happiness and irritation in him. Happy that she was happy, and irritated that he wasn’t the cause of her happiness. A whistle distracted him as their warm-ups ended. He got in line, forcing his attention away from the Omega.
Ushijima stopped at the beginning of the tracks, having finished his run. Heavy pants filled the air, but still he itched to run. He itched to escape from everything, from his responsibilities, from the reality that she was taken already. But he pulled out his phone, drafting a text.
Ushijima: (L. Name) if you are not busy, can you accompany me to the mall tomorrow? Coach Washijo asked me to buy replacement volleyball gear.
Of course, it was a valid reason, but he just needed to see her soon. Needed to spend time with her. To be in her presence.
His phone vibrated. She was quick to respond.
(L.Name, Name): Sure thing Ushijima-san. Are you free after 4 PM? I know we don’t have practice, but I have a group assignment I need to work on after class.
Ushijima: That’s fine. Thank you. I will meet you at the gates at 4 PM.
His grip on his phone tightened. He still didn’t really know why her scent was so enticing to him, or why he constantly craved her touch and presence, but he wasn’t going to lose his chance.
****
The next day, he was greeted with the sight of the lovely Omega standing by the entrance. “Hey, Ushijima-san!” She waved, his heart skipping a beat as he took in her outfit. She had changed out of her uniform and was wearing a (favorite color) blouse paired with leggings.
“You look lovely, (L. Name).”
“Thanks! You don’t look too bad yourself.” They started walking towards the bus stop. He glanced down at his outfit. Compared to her, he felt messy. He was just wearing some branded jogging pants and a fitted black long-sleeve shirt. Ushijima banished the thought from his mind. It didn’t matter what he was wearing as long as he was being true to himself. “What did we need to pick up?” Her foot tapped as she waited for the bus to arrive.
“The coaches asked me to pick up some new towels and balls. I was also planning on looking for personal volleyball equipment as well. Did you have anything that you needed to purchase?” Her hair swayed as she shook her head. The all-too familiar strawberry scent was wafted up to him by the action.
“I don’t think so. If anything, I need to go grocery shopping before I head home.”
“I can go with you for that.” The bus arrived as they stepped in. She waved a hand at him as she looked for an empty seat. There was only one at the very back. His hand found purchase on her lower back as he guided her to the seat, gently pushing her down. Opening her mouth to protest, he held a hand up. “I can stand, don’t worry.”
She crossed her arms but nodded. “You don’t have to go grocery shopping with me, Ushijima-san. There’s a market right by my apartment anyways.”
“I don’t mind.” The rest of the bus trip remained in silence as she looked out the window. Ushijima found himself observing her face. The afternoon sun bounced off her (h/c) hair in a way that made it seem (lighter/darker) than it actually was. Her eyes sparkled in the light.
“Alright, where to?” (Name) asked as they stepped off the bus, hands on her hips as she surveyed the mall.
“I’ll need to visit the sports store for the volleyball stuff.” They walked in together, his hands barely brushing against her cardigan.
“Oh, do you mind if I stop in here?” She halted outside of an edgy looking store. There were signs plastered outside proclaiming their deals in bright yellow and red ink.
Ushijima nodded. “I’ll go with you.” They stepped in together, and he was surprised by the darkness of the store. The external brick-wall facade matched the interior, with all it’s interesting products. He saw a display for one of the animes that Tendou was particularly fond of, stepping towards it to survey all the merchandise.
“I didn’t know you liked My Hero, Ushijima-san.” (Name) returned, a black bag in hand as she tucked her wallet back into her purse.
“I am not, but Tendou is.” He followed her outside the store. “What did you buy?”
“Huh?” She glanced up at him. “Oh! They had some vintage-style limited edition Godzilla merchandise, so I bought some for Hajime.” Her scent brightened, hiding the hint of bitterness in his own.
“I see.”
Was that what it was like to have a mate? To be surprised with gifts randomly? His grandmother had always told him that Alphas were to spoil their Omegas, so he was surprised that (Name) was purchasing something for Iwaizumi.
They stepped into the sports store, with the Omega following Ushijima’s lead as he made a bee-line for the volleyball section. He browsed their selection of volleyballs, testing them before selecting a few to place into his basket. Ushijima turned, opening his mouth to speak to (Name) only to find her missing. “(L. Name)?” He sniffed the air aggressively in an attempt to locate her.
“Over here, Ushijima-san!” She waved at him as she shifted through the clothing section.
“What are you looking for?” Ushijima hovered behind her for a moment before shifting to browse through an adjacent rack, picking a few pairs of shorts.
“I was hoping to get more workout clothes!” She grinned. “I wanted something with more coverage yet breathable, just in case the other teams we play were similar to Kirishima-san’s team.” His nostrils flared at the mention of the other Alpha, lip curling in distaste.
“I will make sure to protect you if that is the case.”
“I’m sure you will,” she shot him a warm smile. “But I think it’d probably be in my best interest anyways. Better safe than sorry, right?” She picked out a few dry-fit shirts and leggings, throwing them over her arm. “Have you got everything?”
“One moment please.” Ushijima stopped at the shoes, snagging a box of shoes. “I am ready now.”
“Let’s check-out then.” He led the way once more, pausing when her footsteps stopped behind him. She was bent over a display, looking at the products. With an awkward smile, she said, “Sorry, I didn’t mean to get distracted again.”
He came to stand behind her, looking down. “Why are you looking at watches?”
“I broke mine the other week, and it’s getting annoying being almost late for things.” She picked one up, examining it before placing it back down. “Ah well, I’ll just ask my parents for a new one.”
“Is that the one you like?”
She raised an eyebrow as Ushijima picked up the one she had just placed down. “Why?”
“Is it?”
“I mean, it’s probably what I’d end up getting, yes.”
“Alright.”
“Wait! Ushijima started walking back towards the cashier. “What are you doing?” She tugged on his arm.
Olive eyes looked down at her before gently pulling his arm away. “I am purchasing the watch for you.” He placed the watch and his own purchases on the counter. “Can I have these rung separately? The volleyballs will go under the Shiratorizawa account.” Her jaw dropped, spluttering as Ushijima and the cashier ignored her.
“Hello again, Ushijima-kun!” The cashier greeted. Ushijima had been a regular in the store ever since middle-school. “How’s practice going for the pack?”
“Good. We’ll be going for the Interhigh nationals soon.”
“That’s good to hear!” He pressed some buttons. Ushijima pulled out some bills, paying the cashier and taking the bags.
(Name) quickly paid for her stuff, a pair of knee-pads slipped amongst her stuff. Ushijima eyed it, but didn’t comment. “You didn’t have to do that, Ushijima-san!” She cursed as they stepped outside. He stopped abruptly and the Omega crashed into his back. “Sorry!” She squeaked, hands flying up to steady herself against him.
Ushijima turned back to her, the watch in hand. “Will you accept this gift?” He firmly - but gently - grasped her hand, pulling it towards him as he placed it into her hand.
“Ushijima-san, that was expensive, you didn’t have to get it for me.”
“I’ve already bought it. Will you accept it?”
She pouted before giving him a small nod. “Thank you, Ushijima-san.”
His Alpha preened at his Omega’s acceptance of the courting gift. (Name) slipped the watch on, adjusting it to match her phone. “It’s getting late, I’ll escort you home then.”
“We can just go to the station by Shiratorizawa,” she replied. “I’ll be fine walking home.”
“Is that the closest station to your home?” They stood at the bus station, waiting patiently.
“ No, but I’d have to take a different bus and I’d rather take this one with you.” His brow furrowed.
“I said I’ll go with you grocery shopping.”
“And I said that wasn’t necessary.” She stepped out a bit, looking at the bus that was arriving. “Now c’mon, let’s get on the bus!” Before he could say another word, she had already hauled herself into the bus. Ushijima sighed, of course she was stubborn. Boarding, his Alpha paced in excitement. He could already tell courting would be interesting.
****
“Hey babe?”
“Hmm?” A warm finger drew small circles on her hip. He hesitated, shaking his head. “What’s up Haji?”
Iwaizumi just chuckled, squeezing her waist. “Nothing.”
“You sure?” (Name) moved to sit up from her lying position only for Iwaizumi’s arms to tighten around her. She tilted her face up, soft doe-eyes blinking up at her mate. “It doesn’t sound like nothing.”
Iwaizumi swallowed. How was he supposed to tell his mate that he was worried? That he had caught the lingering scents of Ushijima clinging to her the other day? That he missed her presence at his practices? “Just...” More hesitation. “Just wanted to ask if you wanted to hangout with the pack tomorrow,” he finished lamely, swallowing away his misgivings.
The Omega hummed, eyes carefully scrutinizing him. “Sure,” she nodded slowly. “You know I'm always down to hangout with you all.” (Name) maneuvered herself so that she straddled him. His hands landed on her hips softly as he peered up at her. The Omega looked beautiful, even when she was wearing one of his old t-shirts that somehow still managed to dwarf her. She leaned down, pressing her lips to his. “I love you,” she whispered, pulling back slightly. He cupped her cheek, a hand sliding up her back as he captured her lips with his. Iwaizumi held her close, hoping that his actions would speak for him.
I love you too.
Fun facts:
💟 (Name) actually hates studying and school, and was genuinely surprised when she got good enough grades to get into Shiratorizawa and to stay in it
💟 The Seijoh pack rarely gives them time alone, so (Name) sometimes has fight them for Iwaizumi’s attention and vice versa
💟 Oikawa was banned from most of their study sessions because he would often get bored and distract them both. (Name) would encourage this, and they would both end up being scolded by Iwaizumi
💟 Even though they were mates, Iwaizumi had spent all day giving himself a prep talk in order to ask her out
💟 (Name) and OIkawa had gone to the same pre-school, but lost contact with one another when she went to a different elementary school
💟 Ushijima thought that he was sick and had gone to the nurse before speaking with Tendou
💟 Every week, Tendou would try to get Ushijima to watch My Hero with him and would even read him scenes from the manga to get him interested to no avail
💟 Ushijima panicked for a few seconds when he couldn’t find (Name) and would have torn the store apart if she didn’t respond to him
💟 Ushijima had tried to get Kirishima’s team banned from playing with Shiratorizawa, but when Coach Washijo heard why, his request was denied. Since then, Ushijima decided that (Name) would not be allowed at practice matches in general
💟 The knee-pads (Name) bought were actually for her. Iwaizumi doesn’t let her play with them unless she has them on
💟 The Seijoh pack was actually scared of losing her and were less energetic whenever (Name) wasn’t around - though they’d never tell her out of fear that she’d feel guilty. The only thing that would cheer them up would be when Iwaizumi brought them her food
AN: I hope you enjoy this chapter and these small tidbits of fun facts! I’ve accidentally extended the story by a few chapters because I can’t bear the idea of letting them go so easily. I’m also entertaining the idea of special ‘bonus’ fluff scenes for when the story concludes or potentially even a prequel story of (Name) and Iwaizumi’s story up until their third year. Please let me know what you think!
Requests are still open for my 150 celebration! Check out this post for more info

Soulmates.
You didn't understand the concept of a soulmate. Sure, you understood what it was, but not why it existed. Soulmates are supposed to be your destined partner or something cheesy like that. At a young age, you were overflowing with excitement when your words first appeared. You were four and grasped what a soulmate was quick. Your parents gushed about it almost daily, saying how beautiful the experience was for them and how they just knew your destined one would be the perfect match for their baby.
16 long years later you stood at the entrance of Karasuno High. You awed at the two-story building and high gates before you were tackled by an orange blur.
"(Y/n)! You beat me here!" Shoyo screamed, hugging your body tightly. Hinata Shoyo had been your best friend for as long as you could remember. You had helped him train for volleyball when his other friends declined to, mostly out of pity. But soon, you came to enjoy the sport, though you never joined the middle school team, to Shoyo's dismay. You still played with him (And alone) in your free time.
"Where else would I be? Nekoma?" You chuckled, ruffling his curly mane.
"Isn't that in Hiroshima?" He tilted his head like a confused puppy. You facepalmed at your friends' stupidity.
"Tokyo, Shoyo. It's in Tokyo." You sighed, looking up at him slightly. You were only an inch or so shorter than the hyperactive ball, so you were both often confused for middle, or elementary, schoolers, to your frustration.
"Hey, (Y/n), are you going to join the volleyball team?" He asked as he picked up his fallen bike from the dirt. You shrugged carelessly.
"I mean, I'll see what type of people are in it, but I make no promises." You said. Shoyo was bouncing excitedly, a wide grin on his childish features.
"I hope you join," He said, looking ahead. "Why's that?" You curiously muttered. Shoyo took a second to answer.
"Because it'll be nice having a friendly face on the court," He looked at you hopefully. You were taken back for a moment before a soft, content smile spread across your face.
"I bet.."
"Plus, you're like, super cool playing."
You raised your eyebrows. He continued.
"Your sets and receives are amazing! And your spikes are like 'Woosh!' then 'Blam!' It's so cool!" He bounced on the balls of his feet, his contagious grin stretching ear to ear.
"You're incredible too, Shoyo," You chuckled. "You're super fast and you go like, uh.." You paused. "'Zoom'?" You nodded. "Your jump is breathtaking! You can jump higher than me!" You remembered his last match of his middle school career. You were dragged to the game, though you would've gone willingly, and witnessed Shoyo's remarkable speed and jump first hand in a serious match.
It stunned you into an awed state of admiration for the boy. Although he had lost, he seemed to have another troubling thought on his mind. As you rode back to your school he kept rubbing his wrist, staring blankly out the window. After a while of dreadful silence, he told you that the guy he lost to, the King of the Court, was his soulmate.
Eventually, you both had to part at the school bell. You promised the ball of sunshine you'd go to the gym that the Volleyball team occupied after school. You were also very positive he had memorized your final class to pick you up in case you decided to run.
While Shoyo was athletically skilled, his brain was far behind. His grades have only gone down (or up if he knew the topic for once) since you've known him. You ended up learning twice the amount of classes you were assigned that year to help Shoyo pass with at least a D.
You even started carrying around candy rewards for a passing grade. It motivated the boy, so you never minded totting them around.
The day was painfully boring, each class doing an introduction that took up a majority of the period. The teachers did a huge slideshow and pretty much gave their life story and gave the students a total of ten minutes to say their name and an interesting fact about themselves. You didn't mind. You hated public speaking anyway.
Your final class came to an end as you internally leaped for the skies. You reminded yourself to treat Shoyo for getting through the long day.
"(Y/n)!"
Speak of the devil, you giggled. You turned to see Shoyo sprinting at you, full speed. You stepped back, avoiding his deadly collision, and gripped the white hoodie he wore under his uniform.
"Walk," You reminded him. "The gym won't run away, I promise."
Shoyo pouted. "But! Let's go! We're wasting precious time!" He begged pitifully. Sighing, you caved.
"Here," You held out an orange-flavored lollipop. "For surviving."
The ginger looked into your eyes gravely.
"It was a long and difficult battle. I barely made it out alive."
You snorted. "Good job, soldier."
You finally made it to the gym and Shoyo wasted no time in leaping into the empty space. Well Almost... empty. He froze, staring at someone.
"Shoyo?" you peeked in and quickly understood.
Kageyama Tobio.
You honestly zoned out during a majority of their childish banter, only snapping back when Shoyo and Kageyama were tossed out the gym like strays then all eyes fell on you.
You pushed yourself off the wall, nervously waving at the group.
A tanned guy spoke first. "I'm Sawamura Daichi, a third-year and captain. A pleasure to meet you...?" He trailed.
"Oh, uh, I'm (L/n) (Y/n), first-year. Pleasures mine," You bowed respectfully. "Just call me (Y/n)," You smiled softly.
A pale-haired male popped up, grinning. He had a cute mole under one of his honey eyes. "I'm Sugawara Koushi! Vice-Captain and third year." He gave a small bow that you returned.
Gradually everyone introduced themselves with a pause from two more characters entering the gym.
An adorable boy with green-tinted hair and freckles cheeks caught your attention first, then your eyes trailed up the tall figure beside him. You swallowed quietly as you took in his appearance. Short, blonde hair fell above his taunting, golden eyes. A white pair of headphones were wrapped around his neck. He gave you a pointed look before giving a short introduction.
Yamaguchi Tadashi and Tsukishima Kei.
Somehow Kageyama and Shoyo ended up in a 3v3 volleyball match set for a later date. You were easily confused and frankly, too many people made you anxious, and your stomach to act up. You reminded yourself of Shoyo before matches.
You made a quick escape to the other set of doors across the gym, sitting on the cold stairs and allowing the wind to brush your hair aside. The sun was starting to dip below the horizon, casting a colorful pattern to paint the sky. You adored sunsets. You loved the colors, the gradual change from day to night as the stars peeked out while the sun was changed to the bright, white moon.
"Are you okay?" Yamaguchi asked worriedly, sliding next to you. You nodded, smiling.
"Yeah, lots of sound and people make me feel sick," You sounded pathetic, but you didn't want to lie either.
"Aw, the shrimp can't handle a few people? How unfortunate." A low, taunting voice said behind you. Your eyes shot open, taking a slow breath in. You whipped your head around to the Tsukishima smirking down at your hunched figure. You froze, recognizing those words from anywhere. You've read them over a thousand times, after all. You forced back a deep blush, instead deciding to lift your middle finger and grinned mockingly at him, saying the series of words you knew were inked into his flesh.
"Suck my dick, you crusty, dusty dinosaur."
