#the excitement and the dreams for the wedding

“How about Christmas?” 

At your question, Kento Nanami scoffs, but smiles nonetheless. “A wedding on Christmas Day? Love, that sounds so chaotic that I would’ve thought Satoru Gojo came up with that.” 

“Okay, then, what about the day after Christmas?” You hurriedly scribble a new date into your notebook full of plans, looking up at him with excited eyes. “Everyone will still have those feel-good vibes from opening presents the day before, and then get to see us get married!” You hold up your hand for the umpteenth time that evening, showing off the gorgeous diamond that rests on your fourth finger. 

“If a wedding around Christmas is what you want, sweetheart, then you’ll have it,” Kento says quietly, his eyes soft with adoration. 

You press a kiss to his cheek, then remember something. “Ooh! Let’s take a picture!” You grab the camera that Shoko got you for your birthday, then turn it around so it’s capturing you and Kento’s faces. Both of you smile and prepare for the flash. Once it shutters, a 2x3 photo prints out. You wait patiently for it to develop, then gently tape it to your notebook and draw a heart around it.

“I hope you know I’m going to take a million of these.” 

Kento laughs. “I’m looking forward to it.”

Your eyes slowly peel open as the dream fades away. His laugh still echoes in your ears. The house is quiet, still, and dark. Exhaustion and heartbreak weigh your body down, making it almost impossible to get out of bed. You check the date and time on your phone, ignoring the large number of missed calls from your colleagues at Jujutsu High, and the full voicemail inbox. 

Next to your phone is your notebook and pen. It’s still open, showing the page with your wedding plans, and the photo of you and Kento. You blink your bleary eyes, then grab your pen with a shaky hand. 

November 5th, you write. It’s still not a nightmare. 

Tears land on the paper in wet splashes, and like every morning since you’ve received the awful news, you sob into your pillow. No matter how much you hope, this won’t be a nightmare you can wake up from. 

You won’t take any more photos with Kento, kiss him on your wedding day or spend another holiday with him. Because on Halloween night, he went on a mission, and he didn't make it home.

They do have a fiancé. And they can still get so excited as they realize that they’re going to get married someday soon.

yes, it’s been three weeks, and yes, I’m still screaming about the fact that Imogen was at her lowest when she met laudna (was thinking of ending it all), and laudna had been roaming aimlessly for thirty years, utterly alone. No purpose, no reason for living, until she met the purple-haired sorcerer that saved her life no questions asked as soon as they first met, then chose to stick together forever, hold on to each other, sleep on the same bed for the next two years and help each other find answers to their miserable existence- and now, NOW that they finally got it together, got some stupid answers, and actually gained some power over the forces that had subdued them for years, KISSED, immediately- literally nine days into their relationship- the shitty world that they live in decided to make it clear and remind them that their days are numbered (significantly smaller numbers than they had accounted for) and that they won’t get to live their quiet life on a field, raise horses and just be. I AM OK ABOUT THAT. TOTALLY FINE.

anyway sometimes youre social and out going and love to talk to/interact w people and then one of your best friends kisses on the mouth you when youre seven and you ask her why she did that and she tells you that its just what best friends do! and you say. well. okay but can you not do that? and then she starts telling everyone that youre weird and starts making you an outcast but its okay bc you still have other friends. and then she wants to be your friend again bc she says never found you weird thats just what scarlet said and you accept her back bc youre best friends of course you will. and she asks you who you like and you tell her and she starts flirting w him and pursuing him and youre confused bc you told her you liked him and also youre all 8. and then he leaves the school and she decided your weird again and you enter this cycle where shes nice to you and wants you to stop hanging out w your other friends and then suddenly wants nothing to do with you leaving you to find new people to hang out w, but you go to a private school and theres no new blood added in and eventually nobody wants anything to do w you and then your 12 and shes your friend again and shes telling you all about her new boyfriend and you dont really care about that but youre feigning interest bc you dont want her to think youre weird and when you ask about him a week later she tells you she dumped him and hes dumb and pretty soon after she stops talking to you at all. and then youre 14 and youre starting high school and having to learn how to socialize w other kids again

Having crazy dreams lately and waking up feeling exhausted. Last night I was trapped in a prison 'school' and 4 of us kept escaping and getting so far through the woods then getting caught and taken back and that went on all night as far as I remember. Thank God it's a long weekend and I can sleep in tomorrow 😴

Omg I just got back from work and I love my second job so much, I’m always so excited to go there and I love everyone that works there a LOT.

Tonight we nicknamed the “field trip” because the event was at a town historical society and we got a full blown tour and history lowdown afterward and we got to go into a taped off area for a little private viewing of some cool artifacts and a whole room they haven’t sorted to display yet.

Man, i got SO lucky with this second job you have no idea.
