Love referring to characters who are never seen without each other as "bonded pairs" like yuuuup. if you put these two in separate cages they're gonna get real sad and anxious and possibly violent too, one of em is biting the bars as we speak. you gotta adopt both of them or none at all, it is encouraged that you take them both. they are most likely to thrive if they stick together. it is easier for them to get used to new environments and situations because they have each other. they do everything together because they love each other so so much. you COULD separate them but it's gonna do a lot of psychological damage and it's gonna lead to a lot of issues and there's a big possibility they'll never be the same again

I can't stand him. I love him so much I actually can't look at him. It effects me physically like I have to kill him with hammers immediately. I have a smash a barrel . over his head

As much as I want to support ethical farming practices I will be buying the cheapest bag of frozen chicken thighs as much as the next frugal/poor person which is why animal welfare needs to be legislated, not left up to the invisible hand of the free market or some bullshit. Invisible hand of the free market finds itself around a lot of throats.

the big response that i wrote for that survey before realising i'd misread the question, and that they wanted my favourite examples of popular fanon, not of fanon that became canon:
the examples of participatory culture i have on hand are all dream smp related (sad-ist animation led to phil incorporating damaged wings, assorted fanart led to quackity incorporating eye scar, wilbur outright stole three canon lives system and the lyrics of the lmanberg anthem from two different redditors, the work of evanmcgaming to editorialize the story of dsmp led to niki and quackity among others using his version of events to inform their own, a fan became eret's friend and then was consulted for narrative direction when eret and wilbur were writing their chapter of wilbur's finale "my own judas" together, of course sbi was NOT canon on dream smp but the fanon belief that it WAS led to a tumultuous few weeks between phil's arrival and doomsday as the ccs tried to square that, and of course the number one participatory culture thing in dream smp was the election and exile polls in which the fans were able to directly influence the outcome of the narrative).
