The End is a highly monitored site, utilised for resources and the unique and mysterious mobs that dwell within

Ordinary people are not allowed access, but there is an aplication process to enter

Applicants must have a valid cause for entry to be granted a permit, and will receive training in elytra use for at least 10 hours (typically delivered in 2hr sessions over 2 weeks) before entry

Winged hybrids exempt

Small groups are taken at a time with an experienced guide to ensure safety

Accidents are rare. Minor injuries from endermen or shulkers have been reported on occasion

A death in the void is a painful one. The person freezes, suffocates. It is slow

Only one death has been reported After saving another applicant from a sudden attack, an avian was left with a torn wing

He fell into the void too quickly for the guide to rescue, but managed to get out and back on land using an enderpearl

Unfortunately, he was dead before he hit the ground

CPR treatment as well as warming the body restarted the man's heart and restored his breathing in under a minute

Outside of needing new wing feathers to grow in, a hospital follow up reported no significant lasting damage, but was admitted to monitor his recovery

The victim went home against medical advice after one week when he recovered from his dizziness, tiredness, balance issues, and rib bruising

Reportedly, the man still had low temperature, heart rate, and blood pressure, and slow, but not laboured, breathing at time of discharge

This is the game they made a brain rot movie of and it is kinda sad seeing such a big piece of nostalgia turned into something that is clearly not geared towards the age group who was raised with it. They could’ve made something so beautiful and at least tried to replicate that magical feeling of being a kid and discovering/learning everything this game has to offer whilst the soft music plays in the background.

I can't believe they're adding shaders to VANILLA MINECRAFT, they're adding it to bedrock edition first in some months !! It's called Vibrant Visuals as you can see in my screenshots

AND the next drops first feature is the Dried Ghast, which can be found near bone structures in the Soul Sand Valleys inside the Nether. It can be picked up and taken to the over world, where you can place it in water and after some time will become a Ghastling!

And when you feed it snowballs it becomes the Happy Ghast, finally a Ghast we can ride! I'm so excited for this silly guy!!!!!! It will be out when the drops snapshots start releasing

Always wanted to see baby ghasts in the game ever since the Twilight Forest mod, so I'm so happy to see it become a reality

Honestly, despite a vast amount rambling about it, I think Herobrine shouldn't be in the Minecraft movie.

Herobrine shouldn't be present or even acknowledged in any official media whatsoever except little tiny snippets and easter eggs. Let him be a ghost of a presence.

I feel confirming his existence and establishing him as a character robs him of being the myth, the legend he is. There really is no bigger picture and most things people agree on still are just popular fan interpretations that stuck around or stem from popular videos or something.

Herobrine is vague. He can be shaped into any interpretation you have for him and it still makes sense. A ghost. A dead brother. A glitch. A griefer. A tragic figure. An error in the game. A ruler of mobs. A hacker. A demon. A prototype. A virus. A player stuck. A king of the nether. A trickster. A god.

If he ends up in any bigger role in official media instead of being a figure in the fog, suddenly all the mystery is shattered. Suddenly there is a canon.

And I don't want that.

the concept of a respawn anchor is so funny. in the Overworld, when you're struck and fall, you wake up in your bed, tucked into the covers with a pillow behind your head. "it's okay," the universe says, for it is kind, "you can try again. rest until you're ready."

the respawn anchor drags your dead and burning body through the hellscape you've sent it to and stabs it through with lightning until you're up and feeling considerably worse than how you did at death. the box will spark and hiss and scream at you to feed it again, or you won't be making it back the next time you're pitched into molten lava.

"i am kind," the universe says. "so i provided you with a world that you could've easily chosen to remain in. player, you cannot sleep here. you forfeited your right to a bed by leaving the confines of my great kindness. if all that you seek is within you, you can do without me."
