Mouse Note: We're back! Just a cute reintroduction to characters and our beloved pair, but we are back. Updates will be Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays unless I fall behind or have to take a break, which is unlikely. And without further ado, welcome back to A Not-So-Disastrous Romance! It's such a fun story, and we've got a ton of fun moments going on this book. Please comment your thoughts, it helps me continue to write, and I love hearing your thoughts!

Saiki sighed in irritation as every single one of his bothers at school (aka “friends”) were reintroduced (even if only a week had passed since his birthday party). He really didn’t need the crowd. He could have made it extremely quick. For example:

Himself, Kusuo Saiki: psychic who has uncontrollably powerful abilities, loves coffee jelly

His mother: kind and considerate, loves her husband

His father: the annoying parent, loves his wife

Nendou: idiot, his mind can’t be read

Kaidou: believes/pretends he’s some anime protagonist, stupid

Kuboyasu: former delinquent

Toritsuka: pervert, medium, a nuisance

Hairo: way too intense

Yumehara: wants more screentime, has a crush on Kaidou (bad judgement)

Teruhashi: prettiest girl alive according to most people, has a crush on Saiki (not good)

Mera: hungry

Saiko: rich

That was all the annoying people in his life that people had to meet.

“Hey, Kusuo!”

Now for someone Saiki was fond of. Really, more than fond of. Saiki turned in his seat to face the final person entering the classroom. They were a pure ray of sunshine with a smile to match, and Saiki found himself far more willing to put up with his bothers so long as they were there.

(Y/N): Saiki’s significant other, his favorite person, angel, amazing cook/confectioner, wears germanium earrings that mean he can’t hear their thoughts, ray of sunshine, the only person Saiki is ever excited to be around, protects Saiki from bugs and bothers, etc. (Saiki could go on for a while)

“Hello, (Y/N),” said Saiki.

Thankfully, as he turned to address (Y/N), the rest of the Saiki K cast meandered away, having gotten their time in the spotlight.

“So, have you recovered from your party?” asked (Y/N). They grinned and laughed. “I know crowds aren’t your thing.”

“It wasn’t as terrible as it could have been,” said Saiki. You were there. And that was the day they had admitted they liked one another and decided to start dating.

(Y/N) just smiled at Saiki. They didn’t need him to say that he was glad they had been present; they could read him well enough. He was their boyfriend, after all. (Saiki was their boyfriend. Boyfriend! (Y/N) still couldn’t believe it and was positively giddy)

“Well, it’s not like you’ll have to deal with another party for a while,” said (Y/N). “And I’ll keep your actual birthday more low-key.”

Saiki deadpanned. He doubted that. He never had luck with these things; he knew he’d end up with a giant party where all his bothers (friends) followed him.

“I’ll make sure you get coffee jelly, at least,” said (Y/N).

Saiki perked up again. He could always count on (Y/N) to think of something for him.

(Y/N) chuckled at his instant reaction. He was a total sucker for sweets, and they knew it.

Saiki looked at them as they laughed, and his heart softened. He really didn’t deserve them.

“I’m going to Café Mami after school,” said Saiki. “They have a promotion.”

“For coffee jelly?” said (Y/N). Saiki nodded. “I’ll go with you.” Saiki mentioning it was his way of asking them to go.

And, hey, (Y/N) wasn’t going to say no to a date with their boyfriend.

I still can’t believe it.

Saiki and (Y/N) both let out a pleased hum as they took a bit of their coffee jellies. Café Mami was delicious as always, and since they already went their together before they were dating, it wasn’t strange for them to still be seen together, just the two of them.

Together, Saiki and (Y/N) had decided to keep their relationship lowkey. First, none of their friends were…calm, for lack of a better word (others would include: discreet, normal, not-embarrassing). Second, some of the people they knew would make some problems (see Teruhashi and her crush on Saiki while being friends with (Y/N)). Third, Saiki and (Y/N) didn’t really care about people knowing their business. It didn’t feel necessary.

So, for now, they weren’t going around announcing to people that they were dating. But that was alright. Saiki and (Y/N) had each other. That was all they needed.

Translation of the interview with Kamiya Hiroshi (Kusuo's VA) and Nojima Kenji (Kuusuke's VA)

The TV anime "The Disastrous Life of Saiki K: The Final Chapter" will air as a year-end special program on the TV Tokyo network on (friday) December 28th from 7:35 to 8:30.

The January issue of PASH!, which is now on sale, features an interview with Kamiya Hiroshi-san, the voice actor of Saiki Kusuo, and Nojima Kenji-san, the voice actor of Kuusuke Saiki. We’re releasing a preview ahead of tomorrow’s broadcast.

Amidst the busy end-of-year, good grief, a world-involving sibling fight…? We spoke to Nojima Kenji-san, who plays the older brother Kuusuke, and Kamiya Hiroshi-san, who plays the younger brother Kusuo, after they had just finished recording about the truth of the matter!

―― Please tell us how you felt when the decision to make the Final Chapter was made. Kamiya: I was very happy. Even if you want to adapt every episode from the original work, it’s not always possible to do so. But with this series, everything fell into place. I think the biggest reason we were able to adapt it all the way to the Final Chapter was because of the fans’ wishes, and for that, I’m incredibly grateful.

Nojima: I had heard that the Final Chapter would be made, but I was wondering about what form it would take, and it turned out to be a two-part year-end special. Could people really sit through an hour of this work?! What kind of focus would they need to watch it? I was a bit worried about that (laughs). But I’m sure that “The Disastrous Life of Saiki K” will deliver dense content that makes you lose track of time again, in the way only it can.

―― Compared to other anime series, “Saiki” has about 2 or 3 times more dialogue per episode, right?

Kamiya: I had vaguely noticed that, but… Nojima: You didn’t want to know, did you? (laughs)

Kamiya: Certainly, for a 30-minute anime, it takes a lot of time to go over the script. Even when watching the DVD to check it, I thought “Hm? Is something wrong with the machine?”, because it felt like it was playing fast-forward (laughs).

Nojima: I’ll be honest now, but on the day I first participated in the recording, I actually went into the recording without finishing all the checks.I checked the script at home and then immediately went to the studio. I was calculating in my mind the timing to start reading the script to record whilst still keeping my role preparation fresh.

But, the amount of lines was beyond my imagination, so I couldn't finish the preparation… This was something that shouldn’t have happened, but honestly, I got through the latter half [of the recording] just with concentration (laughs). But, since I was able to maintain the momentum from the first half, I’m glad I was able to bring out a good sense of raw feelings. Kamiya-san, how was your first recording?

Kamiya: I already can’t remember, but when I re-watch Episode 1 now, I think the pace is still slow. It’s gotten gradually faster since entering season 2. In season 2, Director Sakurai was probably broken as the pacemaker (laughs). Nojima: Ahaha, I see. It's like a live band where the rhythm gradually speeds up, and you keep going without knowing the original pace.

Kamiya: Exactly.

Nojima: Since you can’t keep up by just listening to the lines as words, you have to listen to the partner’s tone and match it. It might be similar to a music session.

―― In the Final Chapter, the relationship between Kusuo and Kuusuke seems to be a highlight. What do you both think about these brothers?

Nojima: The reason they can fight so much, do terrible things, and act recklessly is probably because, ultimately, they’re brothers. In a different case, it would have ended in a complete fallout, wouldn’t it?

Kamiya: That’s true. After all, what Kuusuke is doing is almost criminal. Nojima: Ahahahaha.

Kamiya: What I found especially dangerous about what Kuusuke did was the story of making the elderly villagers wear powered suits. The way he disguised it as caregiving while completely using them as his own puppets was seriously dangerous. Nojima: It’s surely his own sense of justice. I wonder if it’s an antithesis to how we should handle the aging society going forward (laughs).

―― Kuusuke’s obsession with Kusuo is also quite dangerous, isn’t it?

Nojima: Kuusuke has a very strong desire for approval, wanting to be recognized by Kusuo above all else. Challenging him to fights is, I think, a distorted expression of that. But I believe it is also an expression of his love and his desire to be loved back.

Kamiya: Kusuo probably thinks Kuusuke is a troublesome person, but Kusuo is also at fault. Although Kuusuke is a genius, he worked hard to create the control device for Kusuo to help him control his superpowers, didn’t he? Kusuo should be grateful, but he doesn’t express it. “Thanks, big brother. I can’t live without this” - it would’ve been nice if he could’ve said that, but Kusuo doesn’t understand the feelings of those without [superpowers], so that didn’t happen. There was also the sense of taking it for granted because they're family, but thinking how this resulted in that difficult brotherly relationship is quite sad.

―― That’s deep.

Kamiya: Although Kusuke knows he’ll lose, he keeps challenging Kusuo to fights and enjoys the process, which shows his malicious side. He’s also quite twisted. So they’re both equally to blame. From an outsider’s perspective, their relationship can be summed up with one phrase "they’re just just not honest with each other”.

Nojima: Despite that, there are also times when they rely on each other.

Kamiya: It’s complicated. That’s why even in the Final Chapter their relationship will likely be depicted.

―― Finally, could you give a message to the readers who are waiting for the broadcast? Nojima: I was worried about how much Kuusuke would appear, but he ended up having a lot more screentime than I had expected, so I was satisfied. I have no doubts that the viewers will enjoy it as well! Since the story’s pace is fast, please acquire the ability to not blink while watching (laughs), and surely, you will be moved to tears in the end. There are emotional parts, but more than anything, I hope you enjoy it. Thank you for cherishing and enjoying this series for so long!

Kamiya: The TV anime is finally reaching its conclusion. For those who are watching for the first time, it might be difficult, as the story keeps quickly progressing whilst you’re wondering “what is this?”. But there is a scene at the beginning that reviews past episodes and introduces the characters, so I think you’ll understand what this series is about. That said, since it’s a gag anime, I hope you can enjoy it without thinking too much.

As for the highlights for the Final Chapter, Kusuo finally moves [his mouth] and speaks for the first time. You might be wondering “What is this person saying?”, but it’s exactly as it sounds (laughs). Please watch the main story to uncover the truth behind it. I’m sure you’ll be surprised.

The oh so cheery christmas holidays were definitely not his favourite. Everyone was looking happy on the first glance, yet he knew its not always true, the only ones happy during these festive holidays were children and cheesy couples. And the second category was definitely not far from the two of you. It hasn't even been so long since you two got together, but you had feelings for each other for quite some time. Even though he might not look excited at all, he knows you enjoy these holidays, not only because its cheery, but because it's mostly about spending time with the people you love the most. Which is why you two are currently sitting in his room, eating coffee jelly and {favourite snack} while watching a christmas special of some random romcom on tv, and also wearing the matching hoodies you bought you two <3

𝙼𝚞𝚒𝚌𝚑𝚒𝚛𝚘 𝚃𝚘𝚔𝚒𝚝𝚘

All the light illuminating the streets of the village close to the Mist hashiras estate have been a constant reminder to him, that the Christmas holidays are nearing at a very quick pace, and he didn't even have anything for his beloved yet. With your job, it might be the last christmas you spend together, and he has been putting the present buying off for so long! In the end, he did end up buying you a cute little trinket from a market in some bigger city he has been on a mission to, and you spent the evening reminiscing about the past, thinking about the future, and building a cute snowman!! <3

We all know very well that Christmas time is definitely not his favourite, considering what happened in that time. The manor was without decoration, and it was as lifeless as ever. You were in the kitchen with Bard, trying to make some Christmas cookies, and of course it did not end up well. You might or might not have ended up with blowing up the whole place, your dress was all stained, and Sebastian was forced to basically put you on time out. While sitting in your room, you wonder. Of course you know Ciel does not like Christmas...but would it hurt to give him something small? Surely not!! And so you decided to make him a cute little drawng, of what you might ask? Flowers, pure white lilies. You also did add some of the christmas cookies that somehow survived the explosion to the pack, and here you go, a perfect present for your fiance...now just to figure out how to leave your room, since Sebastian locked you here

𝚆𝚒𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊𝚖 𝙹𝚊𝚖𝚎𝚜 𝙼𝚘𝚛𝚒𝚊𝚛𝚝𝚢

During all of the pain and suffering his life has brought him (albeit most of this was sort of his doing), there was one thing that he treasured over everything and anything. And that was you. You would always help him with anything, both emotionally and physicaly, it is no wonder he grew so attached. Which might be why you are laying together in bed, the sun already peeking through the curtains, your bodies close together, yet none of you is getting up to go open the presents. While Christmas wasn't really celebrated much in the Moriarty household, you did bring a certain cheery atmosphere there, and suddenly even William encourages everyone to celebrate it. Nothing big, just a good dinner and presents the next day!! However, the presents will have to wait, since you are not escaping his embrace anytime soon.

Hiding Behind a Mask

A character study of Kaido Shun from Saiki K and Oregon Shawcross from Fresh Meat.

Fresh Meat and The Disastrous Life of Saiki K are two very different comedies. Fresh Meat is rooted in reality, dipping in and out of seriousness as it goes, while Saiki K specialises in absurdity and satire. The characters in Fresh Meat change drastically from season to season as the characters find their footing in the world, while the characters in Saiki K are literally trapped in a time-loop, and remain almost in stasis until the very end. Fresh Meat doesn't really have a main character, while Saiki K very much does.

Despite this, the two shows have some similarities. They can both be considered coming of age stories, as both end with the group of main characters coming to an end of an era and wondering what they will do next in life. They both contain characters who hide behind their own egos, desperate to fit in or be seen as cool.

One of Oregon's earliest scenes shows her being caught in a lie. She makes up tales about what she did in her year before university in an attempt to sound more interesting, and later contradicts herself by saying that she wished she's had a year out, in order to relate to the others. Immediately we are shown that Oregon believes identity to be something she can fabricate. She considers herself a blank slate that she can paste a personality onto, and hides everything about herself in an attempt to create something new.

Kaido does much the same thing. In the transition between middle school and high school, he creates an extravagant false identity called "The Jet Black Wings" in an attempt to bury his shy, boring middle school personality. Unfortunately this backfires, his lies are far too ridiculous for anyone to believe, and he is labelled as a social outcast for his eccentricity. Still, we are shown that Kaido, much like Oregon, doesn't know how to be happy in himself. He believes that in order to have friends, he has to turn himself into someone that will impress people.

The characters begin to differ when we examine how they go about living in their false identities. While Kaido is more or less consistent with his Jet Black Wings persona, Oregon changes herself to match each new person she admires, a new identity ready to replace each one she takes off. She begins by imitating Vod, who is the epitome of "cool", parroting everything she says even when she doesn't really agree, and constantly aiming to please her. However, after the two of them become close friends, she soon moves on to something else.

While Kaido sometimes imitates characters from TV shows he likes, or picks up new skills in order to impress people, he always falls back upon the same edgy fantasy that was there from the beginning.

They both present themselves very differently towards their parents than they do towards their friends. At home, Oregon's name is "Melissa". She comes from a privileged background (something that she hides from her friends) and is under a lot of pressure to do well academically. She spins her parents as many lies at the end of the show as she does towards everyone else at the beginning -- she lies about her grades and tells them that she is President of the Student Union (which, to be fair, she was -- before she was impeached), painting herself as the perfect achiever that she so desperately wants to be.

Kaido is also under a lot of academic pressure. While he doesn't outright lie to his mother, he tries to keep his friends from meeting her as he is afraid she won't approve of them, and adopts a meek, polite personality whenever she is around.

It is clear that he is scared of her, and that this fear only pushes him to hide things from her instead of encouraging him to be better in his studies like she wants. It's possible that this is what drives his tendency to lie to his friends as well -- he is held to a much higher standard than he is capable of, and this has taught him that he must simply appear a certain way in order to earn the approval he desires.

Both Kaido and Oregon have a streak of childishness. In Kaido's case this is extremely prominent -- he is referred to as a "chunibyuu" (which roughly translates as "eighth grade syndrome") and is often taken advantage of by bullies who pretend to believe in his fantasies and trick him into giving them his money. Kaido wants to believe that he is special. It only takes someone telling him that he is secretly from some strange and distant planet, or that he's possessed by the spirit of a hero, and he will go along with anything they say.

In Oregon's case, she is manipulated to a much more serious degree when she has an affair with one of her tutors. She, like Kaido, wants to believe that she is special, and better than other people. Dr Shales (who I despise with every inch of my being) appeals to this by telling her that he loves her for her mind, and giving her higher marks than her work really merits. It takes her a while to get out of this relationship, and even after she does he attempts to emotionally manipulate her into sleeping with him countless times, and it becomes more and more apparent that he is an utterly pathetic and disgusting person.

Kaido and Oregon are both rather bad at the things they really, really want to be good at. While Kaido is passionate about his storytelling, his works are often portrayed as cringeworthy, with a childish edginess and pretentiousness. Oregon, while good at many things, is not very good at English Literature, which is her main passion. She is often bitter towards people who are better than her, and is even unable to be happy for her best friend Vod, when she unexpectedly gets a higher mark in the end. At one point she is shown emulating Candice, a younger student who is more knowledgable than her, by copying her dress sense. This reminds us that even while following her passion, Oregon is more focused on appearances than actually... following her passion. She wants to be recognised as someone who is good at English Literature more than she actually enjoys the subject.

Her and Kaido both display some quite selfish behaviours to protect their image over the course of the show. In Kaido's case this is balanced out by the genuine acts of bravery he sometimes does (though Saiki usually has to chip in with his powers to stop Kaido from getting hurt or making a fool out of himself), while Oregon is almost entirely focused on herself. She shows a lack of empathy towards others -- which isn't a problem on its own, only she is never very compassionate either. While Kaido's friends clearly mean the world to him, he also isn't above putting them down occasionally to boost his own ego -- a specific example of this is when he spreads embarrassing rumours about Saiki after they and their friends were trapped on a desert island together.

Mixing fiction with reality is also a theme that comes up for both characters, though in very different ways.

The fact that he lives through his fantasies is a very major part of Kaido's character. They help him to interact with people, giving him "lines" to say when he doesn't know how to talk to people. He is more comfortable bullshitting his way through conversations than he is simply being a person, and uses his imagination to turn the world into something he can control. If nobody else knows what he's talking about, he is automatically in charge of the conversation.

With Oregon, this theme only really comes up once. In season 3 she writes a play based on her and her housemates, though she renames everyone and maintains that they are all original characters. Within the play, "Delphine" (Oregon) is presented as the "good person", while the others are either degraded or turned into villains. When asked, Oregon shows a distinct lack of understanding of what makes "Delphine" a good person in her story. Delphine is a good person because she says "I wish I wasn't such a good person" and because the other characters tell her what a "good person" she is. It's also worth noting that she casts Candice to play the character to is an obvious self-insert.

Oregon believes in her own goodness for the simple fact that that's how she wants to be seen. She still believes that a personality is something you can craft, like an outfit, and doesn't seem to realise that actions are what determines what kind of person you are. Oregon does a lot of bad things during her time at University. Her affair is something I don't like to blame her for considering that she was being manipulated, but she does suggest gaslighting his wife when afraid that the secret will come out. She accidentally injures a man during sex, which results in him being deported. During her time as the Student Union President, she cuts the funding for several very important things (such as the bus for a disabled rugby team) in order to fund a poetry event, then cuts the funding for more things in order to fix her earlier mistakes, only creating more problems and resulting in her being voted out of the job.

However, despite all this, Oregon clings to the idea that she is a good person. If she lies about the things she does, then they don't matter.

I suppose the main difference between Kaido and Oregon is that Kaido's false identity is there to give him the confidence to interact with the world, while Oregon simply doesn't know another way to be.

Moreover, Kaido's character development is subtle, with him slowly chilling out around his friends and becoming able to talk to them normally, while Oregon's seems to happen all at once. She spirals into a worse and worse person over the course of the show, until it all collapses at the last minute. Her parents find out that she doesn't really have top grades, and that she isn't really President of the Student Union anymore, and that everyone apart from her close friends hates her guts.

With her not getting the grades she needs, Oregon's plan for the future collapses, and she loses her parents' approval. In the end, her friend Vod tells her she should try writing a novel despite failing to get into a creative writing course, and the two decide to travel abroad together.

This brings me to the last point of similarity between Kaido and Oregon: their best friends.

Kaido becomes friends with Kuboyasu Aren, a reformed punk, soon after Aren's transfer into PK Academy. Determined to leave his thug life behind, Aren sometimes finds it difficult to keep his violent instincts at bay. He is clearly someone Kaido looks up to and admires, and the two of them have a very strong friendship.

While Vod was never a gangster, she has had a tougher upbringing than Oregon. Her cool, "don't give a fuck" demeanour is something Oregon first tries to emulate, then begins to resent, and eventually grows to accept. She's someone who doesn't really abide by the law, and owns a grenade as one of her childhood treasures.

Both Aren and Vod have grown up with an abusive parent, though in Vod's case this is a very serious plot point, while Aren only casually mentions his dad beating him to "toughen him up". They even both decide to become teachers, though Vod makes sure to specify that she wants to be a "cool teacher".

Of course, Kaido's friendship with Aren is different from Oregon's with Vod. Kaido and Aren never seem to fall out despite their differences, while Vod and Oregon very much do. Oregon's self-absorption is something that genuinely affects her connections with other people, as she acknowledges other people's faults but not her own. She mistakenly believes that Vod is less intelligent than her, and judges her for being callous with other people's feelings -- which is ironic, since Oregon herself displays the same flaw. However the two always come back to each other despite their ups and downs, and care about each other more than anyone else. While Kaido's eccentricities make it difficult for him to make friends, he seems to have no problem keeping them once they are formed, since the people who are drawn to him are naturally those who can put up with his antics.

Oregon and Kaido are both characters who are afraid of being themselves. They both lie, creating new names for themselves as they transition to high school/university. They are both hiding things from their parents. They also both invoke an intense feeling of second-hand embarrassment as they are unaware that they do not come across as cool as they think they do. However, despite Kaido's patheticness and Oregon's frankly awful personality, or perhaps because of these reasons, these are some of my favourite characters in their respective shows.

Match-Up Exchange Guidelines

Because I’ve been more interested in doing match-up exchanges lately, I figured it would be smart to make a single concise post explaining everything important when it comes to doing match-up exchanges with me! Below are my guidelines for doing match-up exchanges, so if you’re interested in doing a match-up exchange please read this once I’ve sent it to you/if you’re interested in doing an exchange!

Fandoms I Do Match-Ups For:

These are all the fandoms I offer match-ups for! Feel free to choose any of the fandoms listed below if you’re interested in doing a match-up exchange or just requesting a match-up in general, and this list will be updated whenever necessary:

My Hero Academia, Haikyuu, Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan, Life Lessons With Uramichi Oniisan, Bungou Stray Dogs (though I am currently only on season 3, so as of now I would only be able to match you with characters established up to that point), Mystic Messenger, Obey Me, The Disastrous Life of Saiki K, Death Note, Stardew Valley, Sk8 The Infinity, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc.

Characters I Don’t Match With:

Among these fandoms, there are certain characters I won’t do matches with for various reasons. First of all, If a character is below high school age (I’d say generally they have to be 15 or above at least) then I will not be matching them with anyone. This includes characters like Luke from Obey Me, Muichiro from Demon Slayer and Kenji from BSD, among others. Additionally, any characters who are abusive/inappropriate, specially to children, will not be matched with anyone. This would include characters like Mei Mei from JJK and Mori from BSD, as well as characters like Endeavor from My Hero. I also just don’t really know much about Vanderwood from Mystic Messenger so I probably won’t match him for anyone just because I’m not sure if I would be able to make it accurate lol. This list may be changed/altered as needed.

Things I Need From You In a Match-Up Exchange:

If you’re interested in a match-up exchange, please feel free to DM me asking about it! Unless I’m on a hiatus or going through a tough time in my personal life, I will almost always say yes! Once we’ve agreed to an exchange, these are the things I will need from you:

Your preferred name/a nickname you’d like to go by, pronouns, age (or if you’re uncomfortable saying, just tell me if you’re under or over 18 instead), and if you have a gender preference when it comes to your match. If you do not indicate a gender preference for your match, I will match you with a character of any gender who fits you best, so please indicate if you’d only like to be matched with a certain gender and I will oblige!

The fandom(s) you’d like your match-up to be in. You may request up to 5 different fandoms at a time, though you are free to request more or request the same fandom again at a different date. I only set the limit at 5 so that it doesn’t take me too long to post my part of the exchange! (You are also free to request, for example, to be matched with a man and a woman in a particular fandom, though this will count as 2 of your 5 match-ups)

Any characters (if you have any) that you’d prefer not to be matched with, for any reason. I will avoid matching you with any characters you request not to be matched with! Also, if you have any preferences for which characters you're matched with (ex. only wanting to be matched with Class 1-A students) then please state that as well!

The rest of these are not required, but highly encouraged in order for me to give you your best possible match:

Also, please don’t hold back or worry that you’re including “too much” because I promise, the more information you include, the more detailed and personalized I can make your match-up!

When it comes to my match-up(s) for you in an exchange, this is usually what I offer:

Your match-up(s) will always include the reason why I matched you with a character, 8-10 headcanons about your relationship with them based on your personalized info, who my second choice for a match-up would be and a brief explanation of why, and a song that I think describes your relationship with your matched character! Unless stated otherwise (if I’m going through a difficult time or incredibly busy with school) my goal is generally always to get my end of the exchange posted/to you within a week of us agreeing to an exchange, though we can solidify a date together once we’ve decided on doing a match-up trade!

And when it comes to receiving my match-up(s), I’m totally willing to be patient and if things come up/you need more time than you thought or even if you need to cancel the exchange, please just let me know and I promise to be understanding :) All I ask is for communication!
