He was a writer and his novels were SO shitty. Every novel had shallow characters, tons of plot holes, and it ended up with "and then meteor hits and everyone dies". The readers were, simply put, NOT happy. They constantly wrote stuff like "what the hell is going on in author's head?!?" "the author can't even do basic story telling i could rewrite it even without trying"

Reinhardt saw these comments and... dropped dead on spot. That's right. He died of haterz.

When he saw own body, plopped dead on keyboard before a screen with displayed haters, there was a grim reaper. Turns out, he pissed off SO many people and to such level, it amassed him bad karma to such degree he was going to go to hell

That's right, shitty writing is a SIN and he was NOT going to see the pearly gates of heaven

To atone for the greatest sin of being pisspoor writer, instead of going to hell, he was given other option, to live as a character in one of his novels. But, as said before, they were Bad. None had a happy ending. So he only could choose a lesser evil.

Which, turned out to be a character in an initial setting, meaning right under the siege.

In my opinion, the last two (about Reinhardt and Cale) were the most normal ones, the second one was abnormal because of the context in which Burren thought this.

i need to rant about doomed-to-fail ships. and i'm not talking about those that have to fail for your otp to get together no i'm talking about if-only situations where everything is messy and this relationship has a time limit and one of you know it but rather ignore the deadline.

i read The Novels' Extra and shipped Chae Nayun with Kim Hajin. I knew very early on it wouldn't work out. He know very early on it wouldn't work out, and actively tried to avoid having the relationship progress further. Hell, he even hesitated when it came killing her brother (disclaimer, might be romanticizing shit, it's been a while since iv'e finished the novel) but I couldn't help but to root for them. when the fact gets revealed, Hajin avoids Nayun and Nayun is basically hunting him down and when they interact it's so..like emotionally driven and tense and Hajin resumed smoking after and even when Nayun find out about the what would have happened to her brother (demon-ization) she can't let go of all the ...idk rage she had toward Hajin, maybe she needs it? maybe she's gotten so use to it that she doesn't know what to do without it like ooh give me a doomed relationship.

Currently reading TDPGTTA and i can see parallels between Ellen and Reinhardt. We can discuss the ethics of relationships in isekai at length , but not the focus. tldr; Ellen would positively loath Reinhardt if she found out about Valier, and Reinhardt knows this. I haven't gotten to the inevintable reveal yet, but it's becoming abundantly clear that she likes Reinhardt (at least as a companion) but this illusion is destined to be shattered.

Olivia Lanze was a Priestess of Towan who was adopted by the commander of the Knights Templar when she was young and unknowingly raised in preparation to be placed on the throne of a Thousand-Year Empire meant for the [Five Major Religions] by her father. She starts the story as a fifth-year student at the Academy repeating a year due to volunteering in the Demon World War as a healer, where she gained the nickname “the Reaper” for the demons she killed while saving others and “the Saint of the Eredian District” for her charity work. 

Olivia became disillusioned with the Knights Templar due to her father and others’ expectations and with her goddess once she realizes the human goddess Towan of Purity and the demon god Kier of Corruption are one and the same, giving power to anyone who believes in them. She struggles with how to live for herself, idolized and worshiped against her will since she was young. 

She joined a competition to win money for orphans, only losing to save her opponent. She’s one of the only people to speak in defense of the captured (now Demon King) Reinhardt, asking why him being the Demon King means they can’t even listen to what he has to say. Olivia consistently helps others. Also, she has a badass army of undead warriors and Death Knights.

First, I went to the list of novels I read and didn’t drop.

Then, I eliminated all those that I didn’t even remember what they talked about. (I called them third rate novels)

After that, I searched for the ones I remembered the names of the characters in it, then realized that it couldn’t be a criteria since I only remembered the names of people from lotm, tcf and orv.

Then, I put all the novels I really liked as first rate novels, the rest as second rate novels (but I like all of them too), and finally put all the novels I would bother rereading in my list of favorite novels. Tadah.

He's the second oldest of the Vampire Council, a group of Vampire Lords with factions relating to days of the week & elements (Gallarush is the Lord of Friday, which correlates to metal) that aided the MC and eventually became an Elder Council for a newly reconstructed Darklands / Demon Kingdom that was composed of demons and humans. He often teases the oldest member of the council, Luruien/Luvien, an Elf-Vampire who erases most of her memories every ~200 years, and is highly protective of the second youngest of the Council - a Homunculus-Vampire who wants a soul named Lucinil. He's just a good guy / old man
