A win for Cayer x Redina is a win for fucked up toxic ships of guilt and misunderstandings everywhere

Redina has No Casting which lets her use magic instantly (which made her think she was a dragon at one point lol) but a limited Mana Pool while Cayer has a giant Mana Pool that he can’t properly use. During the war against creatures from the Gate Incident, Cayer would refill the Ark Crystal that would let Redina save others. However, recharging it multiple times during a battle required more mana he could manage, meaning Redina would be the one watching people she couldn’t save die & choosing who to spend mana on to save.

Their relationship became troubled as Redina, who didn’t know just how much of a toll charging the Ark Crystal took on Cayer, became cruel and upset until she learned that Cayer was using part of his lifespan to help refill the crystal when he was out of mana. She was guilt-ridden and apologetic, but Cayer refused to stop until he fell into a coma for two years.

When he awoke from his coma after the war, Redina was the one to take care of him, seemingly set to stay with him in perpetuity.

They'd make everything better, save the common people with their combined genius! Olivia Lanze was a Priestess of Towan/Tu’an whose adoptive father (leader of Knights Templar) wanted to instill her as the Empress of a Thousand-Year Empire to gain power and separate the church’s power from the Empire, abusing her to try and make her comply. Rowan is an Archbishop of the Towan/Tu’an Order who rose to her station due to the mass deaths caused by the Gate Incident, which she saw first-hand as the captured (now Demon King) Reinhardt tried to stop.

Both Olivia and Rowan became disillusioned with their religion and the Knights Templar and are unafraid to torture and murder, the latter originally in charge of torturing and eliminating heretics in the Capital refugee camps until she faked her death. I simply think these messed up semi-ex-religious women who pursue their own morality after escaping a constricting and hypocritical institute should kiss.

Lan Qiren and Yu Ziyuan have their own views of romance that ends up in unhealthy ways.

For Lan Qiren, it's his brother Qingheng-jun, who protected the lady who killed his master, married her and shut her in a cottage for eternity while also shutting himself in a different place. The two kids produced out of this disharmonious reunion were given to him to raise, at a very young age. Perhaps around 19-20 considering Qingheng-jun's retreat from the mortal world around the age of twenty and considering LQR to be the younger brother.

For Yu Ziyuan, it's her own self stuck in a hopeless marriage with a man who seemingly only has eyes for his dead love and cares more about her son than his own, leading to frequent arguments. It also plays into her being a woman in a man's world, having to grit her teeth and stand her ground to even be taken seriously. There's also her own internalized insecurities coming to play in her belief that JFM dislikes JC solely because that's her child who's so much like her in appearance and temperament.

For them both, it would be interesting to explore a potential relationship where they can grow to appreciate each other and their resilience in the face of adversities. Lan Qiren is hard working and so is Yu Ziyuan and they would appreciate the competency displayed in the other. Above all, they could grow to respect each other and help them through their struggles.

She disguised herself as a man to avoid unwanted attention and acquired a sick ass Stand that she used to fight people. She teamed up with some dinosaur twink to kill the president. She's awesome.

Olivia Lanze

Olivia Lanze was a Priestess of Towan who was adopted by the commander of the Knights Templar when she was young and unknowingly raised in preparation to be placed on the throne of a Thousand-Year Empire meant for the [Five Major Religions] by her father. She starts the story as a fifth-year student at the Academy repeating a year due to volunteering in the Demon World War as a healer, where she gained the nickname “the Reaper” for the demons she killed while saving others and “the Saint of the Eredian District” for her charity work.

Olivia became disillusioned with the Knights Templar due to her father and others’ expectations and with her goddess once she realizes the human goddess Towan of Purity and the demon god Kier of Corruption are one and the same, giving power to anyone who believes in them. She struggles with how to live for herself, idolized and worshiped against her will since she was young.

She joined a competition to win money for orphans, only losing to save her opponent. She’s one of the only people to speak in defense of the captured (now Demon King) Reinhardt, asking why him being the Demon King means they can’t even listen to what he has to say. Olivia consistently helps others. Also, she has a badass army of undead warriors and Death Knights.
