There was a fair bit of speculation that this latest arc in WTNV would turn out to be the series finale and that ended up not being the case.

What I suspect is going to happen is that the true herald of the podcast's ending will be an arc heavily featuring the Dark Planet Lit By No Sun. It is intrinsically tied to death, inevitability and endings in a way that's bittersweet and almost peaceful, and it's one of the few recurring motifs that's never been played for absurdist humor.

for those unaware -

TDP (The Dark Planet) is a series I’ve been creating for years but only recently started taking seriously. Most of the story is set on Vizes. A small farming planet under attack by a far superior civilization known as the Halo cats. Kitson having her father at the forefront of all of this, needs to take action and somehow end this all. Meeting gods, seeing planets, all the likes. it’s mostly adventure/action
