I don't want anyone to take this the wrong way but Europe is kinda like a miniature America. All the landscapes and trees and stuff are SMALL, they're little versions of the stuff we got going on over here. Even your big things, like the alps, are so cute. You could put a fun roller coaster up there and make it a little ride for the kids.

Danny Phantom Randomness (Vlad's Portal Painting)

I thought this painting looked familiar back when I was a kid and now I finally know why! Funny how it took me this long to do it lolz! So anyways I was taking screenshots now that I have a new laptop of the interior of Vlad's mansion when he becomes mayor to reference a hidden mechanism in a recent chapter of "Vestige" and this painting caught my eye. Its based on a series of 5 paintings called "Napoleon Crossing The Alps" which according to Wikipedia is:

"Napoleon Crossing the Alps (also known as Napoleon at the Saint-Bernard Pass or Bonaparte Crossing the Alps; listed as Le Premier Consul franchissant les Alpes au col du Grand Saint-Bernard) is a series of five oil on canvas equestrian portraits of Napoleon Bonaparte painted by the French artist Jacques-Louis David between 1801 and 1805. Initially commissioned by the King of Spain, the composition shows a strongly idealized view of the real crossing that Napoleon and his army made along the Alps through the Great St Bernard Pass in May 1800. It has become one of the most commonly reproduced images of Napoleon."

As for which version of the painting it is, it's most likely either the first or the fourth!

Disney's The Haunted Mansion | The Skeletal Horseman Changing Portrait (2003 Film Version)

The skeleton horse and skeleton knight (The Skeletal Horseman) changing portrait from the Disney Theme Park Attraction, "The Haunted Mansion", appearing in the 2003 film, as an alternative to the Black Prince, is applied on Napoleon Bonaparte on a rearing horse at the Great St. Bernard Pass. It's "Napoleon Crossing the Alps", by Jacques-Louis David. As shown in this film, the horse and Napoleon Bonaparte become skeletons as Jim Evers (Eddie Murphy) passes by it. This painting is also shown on the DVD Menu in the "Audio Options" section. If you have "The Haunted Mansion" on DVD and you wish to go see the Skeletal Horseman changing portrait, here are the following three steps:

1. Go to "DVD Menu".

2. Select "Set Up".

hi dude Killer chapter I fucking loved it. However, the part where they're driving in the car at the end? you had me doing mental gymnastics because I could Swear the wheel is on the left side of the car in America. I'm pretty sure. and I'm also pretty sure Joel would not be doing a criss cross applesauce with his hands to hold her thigh. amazing chapter though (it was so fucking funny, had to really scratch my head to figure out the Logistics of that scene)
