LOVE CHANGES

A/N: This is like the continuation of my previous post Love and So... There's this girl. But it can be read without reading them too. Though I'd like you to check it out and tell me how I do.

Pairing: Lee Minho x reader

Genre: Fluff, crack

Warning: Reader is a well known fashion designer, Han being extremely dramatic,

Synopsis: Its been 6 months since you and Minho dated which means 6 months since Minho has been acting 'suspicious'

It has been too long. Too long since Minho started acting really, really suspicious.

Han occasionally peeked at Minho who sat across from him at the dance studio, smiling at his phone.

Why is he smiling?

Minho had been acting so, so, so weird lately. And Jisung had noticed it since the beginning. He was acting really suspicious.

How?

Well, since when did Minho start to randomly smile at his phone while texting? Since when did he start to wear bracelets? That too, that had a sparkly sun in it. It looked like something he would wear but when Han asked if he could burrow it, he was met with a stern glare and a cold 'no'.

Minho's been too excited to go home these days too. Like, he had something better to do than just lay on his bed and dream about his cats. Whenever the gang decides to eat a takeout and just go home together, Minho would deny and say he had to go home now.

Go home to do what?!

Now, Jisung watched as Minho once again smiled at his phone then started typing. He stood up from his seat and strided towards Minho.

"Who are you texting?" Minho immediately pulled the phone on his chest, like hiding it from him.

"No one. " He answered, the smile he saw just now long gone and he had this serious poker resting bitch face.

"You were smiling." Han stated, eying him suspiciously. Minho raised his brow at his friend's odd behaviour.

"I was?"

"Yes, you were. "

A silence followed after with both party in different reason. Han looked at Minho like he was a puzzle he was trying to solve and Minho looked at Han like he just lost his marbles.

"What's up with you?" Minho asked, trying to fake a laugh to lighten the awkward situation.

Jisung scoffed," What's wrong with me? No. What's wrong with you? "

His tone raised and attracted the attention of the other hyung line present in the room. They gave each other a knowing look and continued minding their own business while keeping their ears wide open.

"You're acting weird. " Han told him.

"How?"

"You're smiling randomly at your phone and you never wear bracelets especially the ones with sparkly sun draped around it!" He looked so serious it almost looked like a couple bickering.

"Can I not just smile at my phone and change my interest?" Minho asked back, getting up to meet Han's eyes. He found all these so ridiculous and amusing.

"No," Jisung shook his head ," you can't. Not you. "

"What are you trying to imply by that, hm?"

"That YOU ARE CHEATING ON ME WITH A REALLY PRETTY WOMAN!!" He screamed, sobbing onto the floor.

Minho's eyes widened at the accusations or rather the fact as all his members looked at them. Eyes wide, jaw dropped. Hyunjin let out a dramatic gasp and he could see Seungmin smirk from the corner of his eyes.

"Lee know, you are what?" Hyunjin asked, clenching his heart. Minho rolled his eyes but shot them wide open when even his hyung joined.

"You're cheating on Hannie with a woman?" Bang Chan asked, eyes wide.

"Why are you emphasizing the woman so much?"

"That means you are dating a woman!!" Felix screeched, pointing an accusing finger to Minho.

And before he knew it, all his members had surrounded him, sitting in a circle and asking him numerous questions.

"Who's the girl? Come on, tell us!" Changbin pleaded, taking Minho's arm and squeezing it like a little girl.

"Is she an idol? Is she pretty? Wait, do we know her?" Felix seemed just as excited as a teenage girl.

"You cheater!" Han scoffed, "is she prettier than me?"

"I can't really imagine you dating a girl or doing anything romantic." Jeongin stated, chuckling dryly. Seungmin agreed, scrunching up his nose while looking at Minho.

"Aish! You guys are so annoying!! Why are you so interested in my love life?! "Minho groaned, shaking Felix and Changbin off his arms.

"Then just tell us her name and her Instagram id and we'll ask her on our own. " Hyunjin suggests, rolling his eyes like it was an obvious thing.

Tch, as if.

"No way in hell you're getting anything of her, Hyunjin. " Minho simply stated.

"Why not??!! Come on....... Show us a picture? Is it true? Did she get you this bracelet?" Felix asked, touching the silver metal wrapped around his wrist. Minho extracted his hand quickly like Felix had a disease or something.

"I'd rather not hear it, to be honest." Seungmin muttered, like anyone was stopping him from walking out the wide open door. But he stayed seated, next to Jeongin.

"Okay, okay, guys, I think you should leave him alone." Bang Chan chimes. A few groans left their mouths. Mostly changbin, Felix and Hyunjin.

"Oh, come one. Don't be such a party pooper. Don't you wanna know who got Minho hyung's heart?" Changbin said, making a heart in his fingers and placing it in front of Minho's chest.

"If you just tell me who the girl is, I'll forgive you. " Jisung added. Minho rolled his eyes.

"I actually do want to know, though." Bang Chan agreed. Minho could only groan now as his only saviour gave him an apologetic yet teasing grin. He let out a sigh of defeat and looked around at his members who looked back at him with eagerness.

"Fine. " He groaned, " I am dating a girl. "

A teasing whistle echoed and Minho felt someone nudging his shoulder. Probably Felix. He didn't care to look. They continued to stare at him like curious kittens so he continued.

"Who is it?"

"(y/n). (Y/n) (L/n)." Minho replied simply.

"Wait, you mean the designer (y/n)?" Hyunjin asked, eyes wide. Minho simply nodded,"are you kidding me?! I'm wearing her autumn collection shirt right now!" He shrieks, pulling his shirt to show everyone the white sweatshirt he wore.

"Seriously?! You're dating her?! For how long?" Changbin asked.

"It's been 6 months, I think. " Minho said, calculating in his mind.

"You've been dating for 6 months and never mentioned her to us?!" Jisung asked, too dramatically for Minho's liking.

"I did mention her all the time. Remember the friend I went to dinner with? The park? The museum?" He rolled his eyes, trying to remind Jisung of the hints he dropped.

"You just said it was a friend . You never mentioned the friend's gender. " Jisung said defensively. Minho rolled his eyes for like the 10th time tonight.

"I can't believe (y/n) would date someone like you. " Seungmin commented, earning a glare from Minho.

"What do you mean by that?"

"Nothing. Just that, she's so...... Cheerful and loud, in a good way of course. And you're just gloomy and boring. " Seungmin nonchalantly added like it was a fact everyone knew. Minho gave him a somewhat offensive side eye.

"Yeah. I've seen her interviews, she's really cute and lively. Like a sunshine!" Felix added, which sparked a lightbulb above Jisung's head.

"Sunshine?! Is that why you have a sunshine bracelet?! Is it a couple's one? Oh my god!!" Jisung's exaggeration made a few laughs and a few rolled their eyes," which one does she have?! A star?! A moon?!"

"A moon. " Minho replied.

"Do you have a picture together?" Jeongin asked, ignoring the shocked Jisung beside him.

"I think so. " Minho said, unlocking his phone to search for a picture of both of you.

"Hate to chime in but are we allowed to date right now?" Seungmin cut in. All of them looked at him with a glare that said 'not now'. But he just shrugged.

"The dating ban is actually lifted for us. " Chan started," but the fan's reaction may not be very pleasant. Plus, she has her own fans. I heard they are quite protective."

"Who knows you might end up bald and jobless like the last guy she had dating scandal with" Seungmin added, snickering like it was the funniest joke he had ever heard.

"Shut up now Seungmin," Hyunjin said, nudging him by the shoulder," Hyung, tell us about her more. "

"Is she the reason you started drinking coffee too?" Jisung once again questioned, earning a nod from Minho.

"I think so," Minho recalled," we actually met at a coffee shop. " "So, love at first sight?" Felix asked, making a heart sign. Minho shook his head and looked straight ahead. Lost in thought. "It wasn't exactly love at first sight but something similar. The first time we spoke, I felt it. An ache, like a little electric burn. I felt my life change. " "Fate, huh. 'Cause what the heck were you doing in a coffee shop if you don't drink one?" Changbin questioned.

"I don't know. I just felt like I had to go there. Something was so alluring. " "Cringe. " Jeongin snarked. "You seem happier, though," Seungmin stated, others nodded along with him," In the last 6 months, you really changed. "

"Yeah, I haven't gotten any threats to be put in the air fryer in a while. " Hyunjin remarked, making the others laugh including Minho. "I can do that now if you want, Hyunjin. " "No, I'm good, actually." "Is no one gonna come to the fact that my husband has been cheating on me for the last 6 months?" Jisung interject. "Well, (Y/n) is actually very similar to you, Hannie. She is, in fact, just like you. She stuffs her face with food and she fall asleep anywhere. She sucks at cooking too. " Minho mentioned. "Are you saying she has all my bad qualities?" "Bad? No way, she's literally perfect. Those are cute qualities. You should've seen your faces when you're passes out on the chair." "It's to die for." Changbin added.

"So, you're not leaving me?" Jisung asked, pouting. "As long as we're in the same group, I'll have to be with you even if I don't wan to. " "So I'm still your baby?" "You were never my baby!"

"Stop it, you guys! It's disgusting," Jeongin coughed," But, we'd like to meet (y/n). " "Yeah, call her here! " Felix exclaimed after he was done listening to all of them. "Yeah, I want her autograph!" Hyunjin added earning some side eyes from others ," what? like you don't have all her summer collection too, Seungmin" "What? shut up!" Seungmin blushed having his secret revealed. "I think I'll ask her. " Minho said. "She really did changed you, huh Minho?" Bang Chan giggled, seeing Minho's cheeks turn red. "OOOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhhh~~~~~," Changbin sang," I see someone is blushing, huh~~~~"

The other members upon hearing that, looked at their Hyung with the same teasing smirk and started to tease him. "Minho hyung seemed a lot happier, right?" Jisung said, watching others tease Minho. "Yeah. I can't wait to meet (y/n). She must be so special. " Bang Chan agreed. "I still didn't agreed to sharing him, though. " "WhAT?"

Maybe they used to work for him at the casino and got their soul sold as part of the deal he made with alastor. Now they are stuck as a housekeeper in the hotel

Reader has illusion magic and thats where most of their tricks come from, but they also are very skilled at sleigh of hand and more traditional tricks.

I just thought it might be cute to have a magical s/o, since he canonically has a soft spot for magic and tricks, supposedly being one of the few things that melt his stonecold heart.

Husk remembered well the day he met you.

You strutted into his casino like you owned the place and honestly, you might as well have.

You sat down in front of him. Him, the owner and (at the time) overlord of the place.

The two of you played several games with relatively low stakes.

He enjoyed your company. He liked having you around.

He caught you cheating a couple times in games against other people. He didn’t say anything. It’s not like you were being unsubtle about it. The only reason he noticed was because he did those same tricks.

It made gambling with you fun because neither of you could pull your tricks. It was truly a lick of the draw.

Things went like that for a while.

Until Husk’s cage cashier quit. He’d been grumbling about it under his breath when you offered to play a round with him. If he won, he’d get a new one and if you won, you reaped all the benefits of being a soul of his without the price.

When he won, you cursed under your breath. He offered to sweeten the deal by giving you those benefits you wanted if you won the next round. If he won though, you still got the benefits but he got your soul.

He had a cage cashier and a soul in his hands. Until he didn’t. Until you got a front stage view of his loss to Alastor of not just his soul but all the ones he owned too.

You didn’t speak to him for months.

Oh, you yelled at him and oh, he deserved it.

Alastor seemed rightly entertained by your quarreling and deliberately paired the two of you up to watch.

When you could finally look each other in the eye without breaking into a fight, Alastor stopped.

You both sort of just stopped seeing each other then. Without Alastor forcing you and with too many mixed emotions seeing each other gambling, you went your separate ways.

The hotel brought you back together and with years past since then, it was like you’d never fallen out in the first place.

Husk watched you entertain Niffty with illusions and have Charlie in awe right beside her.

He smiled and gave an occasional suggestion.

“Remember in ‘79 when you did that dragon and scared the shit out of those imps.” “Ha! Yeah, I do.”

He found himself enamored with you once again.

Any kind of game night had people fighting over who was going to get paired up with either one of you.

Normally, you’d be paired together and you won nearly every damn time.

On the occasion that it was a game without teams, Husk would magically find himself with some of the best items.

He’d look at you but you’d never look back or if you did, you had a damn good poker face but still, he knew it was just that.

Weeks passed and your life seemed like it got better with each day. The sadness from your last breakup faded away slowly but surely. You had Mingyu now, and you’ve been spending time together whenever he could. It was the same story all over again with his busy schedule, dating an idol, missing him, feeling lonely at night.

Your feelings for him started to flourish and you felt closer and closer. It just felt comfortable, felt right. The trust was there already, you knew he would do anything for you. He even dropped his friendship with Jungkook for you, because he felt you were being played.

How did you feel dating one of the most wanted men in the country? Hell, you were ecstatic. He would bring you flowers or gifts every time you would see each other, he would cook for you, spoil you in all ways, make plans for the future, and he was just such a happy positive person.

I mean, was this dating? Were you a couple? You never talked about that, you just kept seeing each other and having amazing sex. But you were falling in love with him and you felt loved.

He would always insist that you went to all his concerts, he had a thing for fucking you after. At this point, you felt a bit more comfortable around them, plus you had some to drink so you felt pretty social. DK was being very loud, as usual, just singing when you least expected. Dino and Mingyu seemed pretty drunk but at the same time they can drink a lot, till the morning and still be able to walk. Joshua and Seungkwan were drunk too, but they were quiet. Seungcheol kept on being clingy with the members, while Hoshi was fucked, face red, holding DK’s hand and kissing it. The others were pretty chill, maybe just tipsy.

Mafia started and you knew it will get so funny that you’ll die laughing. You were chosen as a mafia, along with Cheol and Hoshi, but you were very confident in your acting skills. You had a great poker face too.

The first round was just chaos. You tried to be quiet and pretend to observe to see who’s acting weird enough to point them as mafia. Then all of the sudden, Hoshi gets up and points at you.

Hoshi: You!!! You are a mafia, aren’t you?

You were flabbergasted. Like…he was supposed to be in your team. Did the idiot forget you were both mafia?

For round 2, it seemed that a little group formed and Jeonghan was very serious about Hoshi being the mafia. He even convinced others to chose the same. You and Cheol tried to put it on someone else, but didn’t work, everyone was just following Jeonghan.

Hoshi: Ok, I am the mafia. And! I will tell you another mafia if you keep me in the game.

Everyone was screaming, laughing, on the floor. You just knew he will pick you. Cheol went to Hoshi to pull on his shirt and ask him if he’s really going to say it, laughing to mask the fact that he was also a mafia.

Mingyu’s face was all red and hot now, he was lost for words. All he could say was “what’s wrong, hyung?”

Hoshi: Well, first of all, all this time you have been telling me that Y/N keeps on playing games with you. That you confessed to her and that she pushed you away each time. Second, you told me she’s with Jungkook still, on and off. And now, I see her in your lap, I see you two kissing, talking sweet to each other like a couple, making plans to spend time together alone. Maybe you can explain. I have been hating this girl for more than a year because she was treating my friend like shit.

Mingyu: Ah, hyung, it’s not like that. Yeah, she has been rejecting me, and she still sees me as a friend.

Hoshi: Are you not fucking?

Mingyu: Uhh, no.

Hoshi: Kim Mingyu, you were kissing. Like..kissing kissing. Don’t lie, I can tell when you’re lying.

The truth was that Hoshi was a very naive guy. He believed anything his dear friend Mingyu would tell him. Why wouldn’t he? They were best friends. Hoshi might not be the brightest out of the bunch, but he was not stupid. He was just very loyal and he trusted his friends a lot. How could he trust a girl and not Mingyu?

Mingyu doesn’t know why he kept feeding this lie to Hoshi. It all started one night when they were having dinner alone and Hoshi saw Mingyu being very down. So he wanted to know what was wrong. Mingyu just started telling him that there was this girl he loved, but she was with Jungkook, and how she will never leave the golden boy of kpop to be with him. Somehow, Hoshi misheard and thought Mingyu said that she rejected him and Mingyu let it slide. Since then, he thought it would be interesting to keep lying to his friend to just…keep him on his side, maybe?

Still, he knew he could just tell the truth but he felt that the lie just got to big now and he didn’t want Hoshi to be upset with him. On the other hand, Hoshi would not go to someone else with this issue because this was something Mingyu shared with him only. That way, Mingyu knew his lies were safe.

But now, Hoshi hated you even more.

•two bits spanish is kinda ass (no sabo two bit perchance????), but he will still have nicknames for everyone on spanish he will not b stopped!! he has yet to find nicknames for tim and dally tho, so everytime he sees them, hes pretty much testing the water and kinda risking getting punched AND looked at weird by a fluent spanish speaker for his pronunciation lol

•when tim moved to america and met them, he had nicknames for them in kreyòl as well, but years later hes just completely forgot them which upsets him bc he knows it was funny as hell, itll come back to him in a dream tho just give him time

•when they all walk together, tim HATESSSS when they walk in 3’s side by side, it feels so claustrophobic so he tends to push them away in a somewhat joking manner, but its always usually into something like a pole for dally or a bush/grass for two bit

•dally is the smallest out of the 3 sjze wise not byba LOT but by enough, tim knows his strength while two bit kinnndddaaa doesnt, so when they roughhouse dally by punching him a lil or shoving him it can have dally stumbling, so he prefers standing away from them. butttt that wont tim from picking him up or two bit doing a “random trust fall” on him (he will squash that winston like a BUG)

•two bit has never been outside of oklahoma let alone tulsa, while dally and tim have lived in a couple states before settling down in tulsa, they dont mind telling two bit what its like in cali, or florida, or nyc, its fun answering his questions hes like a kid whos opening presents on christmas

•never let them play card games together when theres money involved in it, it will most likely b poker and, it WILL go on for over an hour, theyre all cheating trying to call each other out for every little thing, at some point its not even fun and theyre so exhausted that they give up and one of em just steals more money than what they put down

•speaking of money, when two goes to give them a hug, two bit rlly only goes for a hug bc that way he can steal whatever is in their pocket. he PLANS on giving it back, but they pushed him off of them and walked away before he could so now their wallet is his for the time being. to give it back he just says he found it on the floor, luckily tho hes not a VILLAIN, he doesnt spend their money, everything is given back in prestins condition, he just likes making them worry for it

•two and dally talking to tim is like talking using a carrier pigeon, they almost never have full on conversations that start AND end in one place bc tim is so busy, so they hear what tim has to say from what he told someone else, one big game of telephone!!! does this cause arguments??? totally but its mainly bc they misheard somethin

•tim forgets two has an actual name, everytime he hears it he cringes a little, two bit dont look like a keith to him. alternatively, he forgets that dally/dallas is dallys REAL name, like its not just a nickname for whatever reason, hes so used to the curtis gang having odd names that he cant tell whats a nickname vs actual name

You see, with Laurent and Aurelia (regular™ relationship) from Sweet Little Lies, I can offer a perfectly normal and reasonable answer: Dance! He is slowly teaching her how to dance, and it won't be long before they move on from listening to the music box he promised her to going to small public celebrations.

They also introduce each other to their respective circle of friends, which means Aurelia will soon learn how to cheat at fantasy poker, and Laurent might learn a less gambly card or board game or two.

With the Reasonable And Healthy™ Relationship out of the way—

For Finnian and Eilis (QPR) as well as Ross and Irina (consider each other siblings) I was about to joke "everything but shitting" but man, I should probably stop fucking them up so much they're bed-bound for a while. On the other hand, they sure as hell do not enjoy that bedpan, so: (almost) everything else.

Finnian and Eilis live alone in the forest, so they only have each other, and the hut only has one room. She will take care of her animals alone, because he really does not like anything with feathers, but he will help with whatever else he can. There are lots and lots of long evenings and nights in front of the fireplace, and even when she does things he can't help her with, like spinning yarn, he's happy to just be close to her. There aren't any specific activities; they just want to live their lives together :)

Ross and Irina might be my clingiest pair yet, and that's probably saying something. They're starting a new life together, and if it isn't about their respective jobs, they're pretty much never apart. Whether he's reading and she's cleaning, or he tries to cook and she helps him with the parts he has trouble with, or they just go to the marketplace or relax in the park together.

At the end of the novel, they're still very, very far from overcoming all the trauma I dumped on them, so most of the things they do still fall into the category of finding their way in a normal life, figuring out how to be self-sufficient, and exploring a huge city. They really are a couple of stray cats that will die of anxiety and gnaw their legs off when separated, so let's keep them together.

Fun bonus points: There is a time between Second Chances and Glass Shards during which Josephine and Valadan are both mercenaries at the Wilds branch of the Order of Fire. Nothing says relationship goals like having each other's back while fighting evil, but unfortunately, I really made that timeline too tight and she falls pregnant too soon. They still enjoy sparring while making suggestive comments.

The Day the Resistance Fell

1300 hours. Resistance meetings. Led by Master Leonardo. Greeted by little engagement. Everyone left is just tired.

1428 hours. The meetings ended early. People returned to their free time. A couple returned to embracing each other, soaking in whatever moments they may have left together. Miwa beat her family in poker, likely for the 50th time, one member of their party missing. She’d lost family too. Commander O’Neil was talking to Big Mama and Sensei, who must’ve noticed Casey Jr’s stares as he excused himself and walked over to the kid.

“Case.”

“Sensei.”

“What’chu working on?”

“I’m just- looking through old files.”

“Is that right?” He took a seat next to him, pulling his real arm over Casey’s shoulder, and sinking comfortably into the wall. “You find out all of Donnie’s secrets yet?” He looked over with a smirk.

“Not all of them. There’s a lot on this thing.”

“Keep digging, and let me know if you find anything really good.”

“There's been a lot on here from before I was born.”

“Oh yeah, those were wild days. Never had a moment like this back then. We were always on the run from something- I don’t think I slept much those first years.” He spoke as he pulled his mask over his eyes and let out a big yawn, bringing his full weight down atop Casey.

“Hey, no sleeping on the job,” Casey jabbed him in the side.

“Gah.” He pulled away and lifted up his mask to see a big smirk on Casey’s face. “You’re asking for it little man.”

Casey tried to make a break for it but was pulled back into a bear hug to receive a noogie to the head.

“If you’re bringing it, I’m gonna give it right back, old man,” and Casey pulled Sensei’s mask right around his head.

“Oh this old trick?” Leo laughed. Casey tried wriggling out of his grasp. “Ohohoho, you’re not getting away that easily.”

“How about a new trick then?” Casey smiled, tapping a button on Leo’s arm that forced him to release the kid.

“No fair, that’s cheating!” Leo shouted as Casey crawled away.

“I thought it was ‘using my surroundings.’”

Leo raised his finger to retaliate, but came up with nothing. “Don’t think one arm left means I can’t beat you,” and Leo picked himself off the floor and charged for Casey again. Casey ran off laughing, looking back as Leo chased him. “Oh- Casey!”

He ran straight into an adult, and back toward Leo, who managed to catch him before he hit the floor. “You gotta watch where you're going, Case. You shouldn’t look back while you’re running.”

Casey rubbed his nose.

“Master Leonardo!” It was the angry guy. He was breathing heavily and looked terrified. “Krang! Spotted just west of here.”

“How many?”

“20 maybe 30, and they’re heading this way.”

“Sound the alarm, I want this place to be locked down!” Leo ordered the space, causing people to jump into action. “Let’s gear up an-“

A loud crash caused rubble to fall from the ceiling, and the metal walls to creak. Sensei pulled Casey close and steadied them both. Then the red lights began to blare, but no sound was heard.

Casey left Leo’s side to grab the things he had abandoned against the wall for the sake of fun. His mask and his hockey stick. When he turned around, Sensei had left the room. Casey started toward the door.

There was another crash, and more debris began to fall. Casey was stopped by two hands on his shoulder, pulling him back and turning him around.

“Casey, are you okay?”

“I’m fine Commander O’Neil. Where’d Sensei go?”

“He followed the scout to the observation deck.”

“I’m gonna go after him!”

He turned away, but April’s hold held firm, “Wait, Casey. I need you to come with me!”

April was sure to keep Casey close to her as they ran through the base. Others bolted past them in full gear, guns blazing, assortments of different weapons ready, and making their way out into the fight. Him and the Commander only headed deeper into the base.

“Where are we going, Commander?”

“Somewhere you’ll be safe.”

“Me?” Casey stopped, “But I can help!”

“I’m sorry, Casey! Leo doesn’t want you near this fight!”

“But-“

“We’ve got to keep moving!” She pulled him along.

“Commander- I can do more! Sensei-“

“Leo needs you to stay safe.” April turned him around, “But that doesn’t mean we can’t do our own thing to help. You got anything in those files with access codes to Donnie’s Helicarrier program?”

Casey gave April a smirk.

“Then let’s kick some Krang ass.” She pounded her fist into her hand.

Ok ok, I need some answers bc I’m “morbidly curious”. So, could you give me insight how Sophie would be as a Blackbeard pirate? Particularly, how would Blackbeard and Sophie work out together (couple wise) in this AU?

i gasped aloud!!! this premise is truly & derangedly morbid. fixation is a major part of sophie's personality, and her fixation on law/the wg/science etc is meant to parallel teach's fixation on her (and also the "follow your dreams/what you love is your fate" theme in one piece)

that being said, i can see two versions of how this could go.

version one: still a "chasing a carrot on a stick" situation. if they were an actual couple, teach would be very into her while she'd be cheating on him every other week. and he'd find it a little romantic, because at the end of the day sophie would always come back to him (without being coerced, let's assume she met ace in this au but developed some fondness for teach) and they'd throw tantrums at each other, which would devolve into long shakespearean speeches about wanting to feel seen and appreciated (as they make plans to conquer the world). the sense that there's a part of her that teach can't ever reach would drive a large part of his fascination. and sophie would enjoy the attention because as we all know she has an old man fetish, but in her heart she'd be disappointed in him for reciprocating the attraction of someone her age. she would see the relationship as transactional (she gets to experiment on a person literally unlike anyone else in the world), while teach would genuinely have feelings. but he wouldn't call it love unless he could gain something out of it. for all the mess, mind games, cuckoldry, and toxicity enjoyers out there!

version two (i would age sophie up for this): healthy, wholesome, supportive. very much "you loved me at my no powers buffoonish backstabbing failson era, now you have me at my two devil fruits, massive armada, massive dick, playing 5D chess and always winning, pearl necklace, rings on every finger, haute couture emperor era". sophie would have zero problems in this au. she'd be bejeweled, living good, hosting poker nights with her boyfriend's interesting coworkers. the mob wife, in essence.

My experience watching 9-1-1, or alternatively, my slow descent into madness.

Made the decision to watch all of 9-1-1 from the beginning since I’ve only ever watched episodes of it here and there when my mom was watching it. So, I thought it would be fun to document the experience.

Spoiler alert, my favourite characters in this show are Buck and Eddie. Expect a lot of text about them. Also, they only have seasons 1-6 available in my country and the 7th is only now being shown on tv so… no seasons 7 or 8 in this one.

I can’t believe TK thought Buck was (maybe) asking him out. Buck wasn’t even aware of his bisexuality at that time so my question is: just how much chaotic bisexual energy has this man been unknowingly radiating? And how did a firefighter from Texas, who by all means was a stranger until now, clock that so fast? Also! The fact that Eddie doesn’t really use social media (relatable king) but has posted pics about Chris and Buck there. And ofc, Hen being an actual badass once again! AND ALSO I’m never gonna forgive this show for never showing us the visit Eddie, Buck and Hen made to see Eddie’s family in El Paso. I feel robbed.

Season 4 (my bias for Buck is on full blast during this season (as if that wasn’t case in last season, too, or the upcoming ones))

I’m happy for Maddie and Chimney, but everything related to pregnancy makes me really uncomfortable
