Different anon—that’s fair! I fear they meant to make the movie nearly 3 hours long, but Netflix meddled with the production. Hopefully with the pretty much guarantee for a sequel, they’ll allow them more creative freedom because there was so much they wanted to do but weren’t given the adequacy of time.

100 minutes is definitely enough time to tell an excellent standalone complete story, which movies should be able to do without a qualifying "but they can clean up all the loose threads in the sequel." of course my theory is that the unanswered questions, inconsistencies, and rushed ending were intentionally done to set up a sequel/franchise, but what a shallow way to treat your own story -_-

omggg dude u watch kpop demon hunters

i did! beautiful visuals, the story was kinda whatever. i don't really listen to kpop but even with my limited knowledge i felt the songs were a poor representation of the genre. to me they just sound like vapid kidz bop songs with corny lyrics. or maybe it's my own bias... well anyway. putting the music aside, the most egregious thing about this movie was when the break-up between the three girls was resolved off-screen!!!! that was purple girl's greatest fear, her bandmates almost tried to kill her, what do you mean you just skipped over them making up and becoming friends again.............
