Starkid is one of the absolute best arguments for supprting independent art. The fact that the shows you're invested in can't get canceled by Big Daddy Streaming, the quality is always amazing, the love of the cast and crew doesn't get squeezed out by surprise budget reductions, the fact that since crowd funding provides almost all costs up front (plus the presence of voluntary digital ticket/in person tickets for additional funding), the fan base can access the full material for whatever cost they can contribute (even if you can give nothing monetarily, you will still get a professionally shot version of the material eventually, without surprise fees or password crackdowns, AND with captions/completely accesible regardless of location). The same goes for Tin Can Bros, Shipwrecked, and all the other associated theater and web series companies loosely connected to Starkid. Like, I cannot believe the amazing content provided to us at the same level as Broadway or streaming services with billion dollars at hand, with almost none of the catches that come with others. Like, I cannot believe that we get all of this right at our hands.

Penny: Ren is very lithe, something I have not seen in many men, with pouty lips and a soft countenance. It is enticing in it's uniqueness.

Penny: Nora is what I believe to be called "A Bombshell." Given her strength, personality, choice of weapon, and the rather ... Noticeable body.

Penny: Is that enough?

Ruby: *Blushing* Uhm, Y-yes Penny ... Uh, that's called 'Sexual attraction' and the fact you feel it towards everyone could mean you fit under a few labels, but we can discuss it later if you'd like, I- Uh, I need to think about what you told me for a bit.

who knows if gillian’s academy team even has a canonical team name (as in, it doesn’t narratively matter so we may not ever hear what it was) but in the event that is information we learn at some point i want to be right so i’m just throwing it out there.

or AASP (“asp”). the obvious pull is GRAA (“gray”) but i don’t like that because the intuitive way to read it is like “grah!”—or AJAR, if you want to really stretch the meaning of “evokes the idea of a color.” but GRAJ is the most aesthetically pleasing option in my completely unbiased opinion.

(do not ask me how long i spent trying to make “gorge” happen. i mean, GARJ, but that’s much more easily “garage” so… alas.)
