Finished reading Cael's Sprout and Chess Game card.

I want to see him cry in utter despair and sorrow.

I want to see him hold the love of his life in his arms in heavy desperation, the life in her body slowly fading away. Knowing it was him who played a part in driving her to despair countless of times.

I want to see him express his selfish desire, and lament over their diverging destinies. Wishing it were him who stayed by her side when others did, knowing he never could.

But I know he won't do the latter. Because I've finally realized he's become the very sort of lover who I sincerely believe, is the image of true love.
