Friends, I present to you my biggest contribution to this fandom 🤝 Some years ago I made some references to use on my art, now I'm sharing it, finally. Feel free to request any in-game outfits and I'll take some screenshots and post it here when I finish the pip-boy reference I'm currently doing.

Here are the first couple of OCs I've designed as I've been plotting out Chaye's FNV storyline. These two are meant to replace the characters in the "Young Hearts" questline in the Boomers faction.
You find Mango where you would normally find the NPC Jack- though closer to the border fence and actively looking through binoculars, unlike in game. Talking with them reveals their mechanical expertise as well as their crush on a girl over at the Crimson Caravans headquarters, who they think they saw waving back at them a couple of times. They ask you if you’d be willing to go talk to her for them, as they can’t exactly leave the camp. When you do you’re met with the usual options: though Chaye specifically makes sure the girl Tangerine gets across safe.
She reveals through talking to her that she witnessed Mango falling off the watchtower trying to wave at her. (And you can’t convince her to go by making her jealous lol) Bringing her back not only helps the faction as a whole accept outsiders, but also unlocks the usual unique item of the rebreather, crafted by Mango.
Bringing Tangerine into the camp also connects the Boomers to the outside world via her family's caravan, further uniting the Mojave under the Courier's hand.
The tension in the Boomers is not only between them and outsiders, but the elder, traditional generation and the younger, bolder Boomers that are much more curious about the outside world. Having Mango on your side assists you and makes the overall difficulty of earning the faction’s trust easier. Mango is an orphan and only just recognized as an adult among their faction, and is Mother Pearl’s ward. Earning their trust earns you more of Mother Pearl’s and vice versa. In the end card of an ideal ending, Mango joins the Followers of the Apocalypse to aid the Mojave on a whole.

Welcome to another episode of “Riley’s curiosity gets the better of him, and now he has to experience situations™.”
This time, he’s gotta deal with the Twilight Zone mad scientist crater.

Perk:Protect Children A sketch of 2020 inspired by the Boomers in Nellis Air Force Base and the unmarked quest Bear Necessities. Requin's opinion of the Boomers would be one of cautious respect and curiosity.

FNV Minor Character Poll - Round 1-B, Day 2
Tumblr media
Left: Silus, a centurion of Caesar's Legion who has been captured by the NCR at Camp McCarran. —"You must have some reason to be in your line of work. Tell me, what did the Legion do to you? Did we enslave your children? Slaughter your family before your eyes to teach you a lesson? Whatever it was, I hope I was there to give the order."
Right: Raquel, master-at-arms for the Boomers at Nellis AFB. —"I wasn't the one firing the howitzers. If you want to see how good I am at killing savages, I can show you. Or you can accept Mother Pearl's invitation. It's your choice."
Designated cheerleaders were not available for this match-up.

“Let us recap, shall we?
You are probably one foot away from a chain link fence,
Aiming a missile launcher through said fence
At a target probably six feet away.
And you claim that I am the savage here?
Pfft… Whatever, Boomer.“

War. War never changes.
When atomic fire consumed the earth, those who survived did so in great, underground vaults. When they opened, their inhabitants set out across ruins of the old world to build new societies, establish new villages, forming tribes.
As decades passed, what had been the American southwest united beneath the flag of the New California Republic, dedicated to old-world values of democracy and the rule of law. As the Republic grew, so did its needs; Scouts spread east, seeking territory and wealth, in the dry and merciless expanse of the Mojave Desert. They returned with tales of a city untouched by the warheads that had scorched the rest of the world, and a great wall spanning the Colorado River. The NCR mobilized its army and sent it east to occupy the Hoover Dam, and restore it to working condition.
But across the Colorado, another society had arisen under a different flag. A vast army of slaves, forged from the conquest of 86 tribes: Caesar's Legion. Four years have passed since the Republic held the Dam - just barely - against the Legion's onslaught. The Legion did not retreat. Across the river, it gathers strength. Campfires burn, training drums beat.
Through it all, the New Vegas Strip has stayed open for business under the control of its mysterious overseer, Mr. House, and his army of rehabilitated tribals and police robots.
You are a Courier, hired by the Mojave Express, to deliver a package to the New Vegas Strip. What seemed like a simple delivery job has taken a turn... for the worse.

It does get really annoying when people misunderstand the message of a game and it's storyline but sometimes we have to also understand that sometimes it's the fault of how it's being told
#this id specifically about fnv btw#specifically thinking about the whole thing with the boomers and their vault#some people will take away that the message is 'gun control bad' and that the boomers are the good guys#but also somehow ignore the fact the whole thing that happened to the vault and that the boomers views arent meant to be seen as good#like they literally think that they are meant to basically be gods and kill everyone in the wasteland from their plane#and the vault records also show the reason why the overseer limited the guns in the first place was bc of increasing homicidal tendencies#and considering the remaining people in the vault are either dead ferals or trapped. you finish the picture.#like the type of people that think the message is just 'gun control bad' are the exact type to becomes the boomers#but ofc they dont see that as a bad thing bc genocide is Fun! (sarcasm)#it doesnt really surprise me#since these same people would say the legion are the best ending unironically#like im not saying picking the legion as your favorite is bad if youre acknowledging youre cosplaying the villain#but if you think the legion should exist irl bc you think theyre right.#go touch grass.#watching that video about the boomers and scrolling through comments made me feel smart#'so its basically texas/america and its saying how gun control is bad and were right?' yall are dumb#ive also noticed that whenever these dumbasses bring up tun control negatively either they think it means no guns at all#or theyre the specific type of people that shouldnt own guns and have never taken a class in gun safety#media literacy. save me#common sense. we need you

there would be a dialogue option to say like "killing is always wrong" and he would give the courier the flattest look "then why are we doing it all the time"
