It's so good when Shen Qingqiu takes care of Luo Binghe. In canon and also in fics. I especially am in love with when he does his hair or helps him dress, it's just so pleasantly domestic. Also endearing whenever SQQ gets a bit fanboy-ish about it, because that's Luo Binghe and SQQ can dress him up in every cool or sexy outfit he has a face thick enough to pay someone to actually make!
I wonder if he ever shares this wisdom with Shang Qinghua. Like at some bitching session or other SQH is sighing a bit about how MBJ always wears like the same three outfits, and don't get him wrong they're all great outfits, but he noticed Luo Binghe flaunting yet another fresh look the other day and part of him really wants to see Mobei Jun in something different...
And then Shen Qingqiu is just like, you're the Lord of An Ding Peak, you handle the basic wardrobe necessities for an entire sect? Go pay someone to make cool/sexy outfits and literally put them on Mobei Jun yourself! You're married to the guy, aren't you?
Shang Qinghua is like "wait you can do that? I can do that? that's a thing that's allowed?" and Shen Qingqiu rolls his eyes and calls him a dumbass and points out that Airplane himself wrote about the intimacy of Luo Binghe's harem members dressing him and it being an even bigger deal for demons than humans, and Shang Qinghua cannot for the life of him remember this but it does sound sort of familiar. So off he goes to nervously sketch out some ideas for outfits, and then get told off by the seamstress he tries to commission for not having realistic ideas about how fabric works. But he does have Mobei Jun's measurements and after some discussion he gets a bunch of stuff that looks even better than his initial ideas, eventually, and then he just has to... give them to his king...
Shang Qinghua awkwardly presenting the topic to Mobei Jun like he's expecting to get a hard "no", but he blinks and his king is naked and standing expectantly in front of his fancy full-length mirror. Shang Qinghua has only ever helped Mobei Jun get dressed when he was injured in the past, and then usually only just putting his arms through some sleeves on an outer robe. They've undressed each other for sex, but putting the clothes on really is a different kind of intimacy. Especially an outfit that Shang Qinghua had specially made to suit Mobei Jun, to highlight the features he likes best about him. Striking blue and icy-white, with hints of An Ding's colors as accents, showing off his build to full effect, etc etc. Shang Qinghua layers each piece on and then does Mobei Jun's hair too, muttering quiet approval for how the look comes together while Mobei Jun preens under all the attention.
Of course, afterwards Mobei wants Shang Qinghua to dress him every day, which isn't always logistically feasible, and MBJ also intends to return the gesture.
Luo Binghe dresses Shen Qingqiu too of course, but Luo Binghe is aware both that other guys want his husband and also that Shen Qingqiu will refuse to go out in public if Binghe dresses him in anything revealing, even if he still lets him put it on, plus Luo Binghe was raised with human sensibilities about modesty. So all in all any "sexy" outfits are reserved for private time at home, and what he puts Shen Qingqiu in for daily wear is all stuff that is perfectly befitting a Qing Jing Peak Lord and scholar.
Mobei Jun doesn't have human modesty sensibilities and also doesn't see any reason why Qinghua shouldn't show off his own best assets while he's going about his day, so, Shang Qinghua is about to rue the hell out of a lot fashion-related world-building decisions he made a lifetime ago...

Hey yo, SVSSS fandom, I arrive uh *checks the clock* three years late and at one in the morning because this idea won't leave my head.
I don't think I'm going to write more of it, because I'm already two long fics deep and *shrugs* I'm also too much like our poor Airplane: high on caffeine, without enough time to write all that I want to write, and this idea deserves better
Basically, after canon, the system got bored? And as it can't mess up with the protagonist, it went on to torture our poor Mobei Jun, curious to know why he's Airplane's fav character and the only character that was kept the way Airplane originally wanted the story to be.
It's just a scene, and if you wanna adopt this idea go for it! Just tag me please, I wanna see your takes on it! :D
Anyway, scene under the cut! TW: Canon mentions of blood, torture and- let's be honest, the System itself should be a TW.
Hope you like it!
Mobei Jun couldn't see who said it, the stench of blood and piss burning his nostrils, the room too hot for him to think. Somewhere on his mind, a voice that screamed too much like Shang Qinghua kept repeating, "Get up, get up, get up, GET UP!" but he couldn't move, both his arms and legs bound by heated metal.
----
"Oh, that won't do."
"That won't do at all," the voice repeated, closer than before. Too close, the little Shang Qinghua voice in his mind would say. He forced himself to blink, head lolling to the side as lukewarm hands grabbed his face, pushing his hair back, a thumb pressing on his demon mark.
"You were written to be better than this," the voice- no, the man mumbled, followed by an annoyed "Tsk", his touch slowly bringing Mobei Jun back to the present, blue eyes widening as he recognized the soft yellow An Ding Peak robes.
"Shang Qinghua?" he tried to ask, but for sure, he only managed a gurgled sound, throat too dry to say anything. Besides, the man - should he call it a man? - in front of him had his servant's voice, but his posture was all wrong, too confident, too sure of himself. Daft fingers pressed on his cheeks, forcing him to look up, making his breath stutter.
"User 001 is not available at the moment," the strange man wearing Shang Qinghua's face said with a smile, too polite, too calm. There was also something really wrong with his eyes, as if someone had taken Shang Qinghua's warm brown ones and swapped with a poisonous green that glowed in the dim room.
"Where's Shang Qinghua?" he managed to speak, blood dripping from his lips as the room got impossibly warmer. Mobei Jun could feel in his conscience slipping, his strength melting from his bones as he did his best to keep himself awake, to not close his eyes and let himself even more vulnerable to his torturer.
"User 001 is not available at the moment," the man repeated again, and then once more, as if mocking Mobei Jun's hazy mind. "There, I hope you understand. Important things must be told three times. Now-" The thumb on his demon mark pressed further, the inhuman strenght tearing a scream from Mobei Jun's throat as a pain thin and sharp like a neaddle splited his skull in two. He couldn't think he couldn't breathe- Where was Shang Qinghua- Was he hurt? Did this skinwearer kill him?! He had to-
"Protocol 24978 generated. System's mission engaged: Author's favorite."
None of those words made any sense, what-
"I hope you enjoy our services!"
Mobei Jun's world went blank in a flash of white.

Today I remembered that Mobei-Jun is roughly the same age-range - possibly even a little younger - than the Qing Peak Lords.
[2400 words, smol bean Mobei and big bro Yue Qi traipsing through the countryside to rescue Xiao Jiu]
So please imagine young Mobei Wu, approximately ten years old, stranded in the human realm after yet another of his uncle's murder attempts and too tired or not yet skilled enough to portal back from one realm to the other without a tear in reality to capitalize on.
And instead of Huan Hua cultivators or any other danger, he stumbles into Yue Qi. Yue Qi who is about fifteen, just got out of the cave and is on the way to try and rescue his Xiao Jiu. Yue Qi would never hurt a child smaller than him, not even a demon one. Especially not one that admits, after some careful coaxing with smiles and sweet treats, that it's his uncle who's trying to kill him. Yue Qi can't imagine someone wanting to harm a child who places their trust in him, anyway please call him Qi-ge. What's your name, little one? All right, A-Wu, not so little. (He is very little. Yue Qi is very tall for his age, but this demon is objectively tiny and maybe a little malnourished too.) What a coincidence, they are both named after numbers. Do you want Qi-ge to carry you for a bit?
Yue Qi figures that the least he can do is look out for this kid until he can go home - A-Wu is very reluctant about specifying what's preventing him from leaving right now, but Yue Qi knows it's best not to push a boy that age - so they travel together for a while. He sticks cooling talismans on the inside of the little demon's shirt to prevent him from overheating or stripping off his (already too few, by the standards of human decency) layers, so for most of the journey he's carrying a halfway dozing little snowball of a child like a backpack. Yue Qi tells him all about Xiao Jiu, bolstered by the little hums Mobei Wu makes to show that he's paying attention.
"Where did you get the scars?"
Yue Qi stops mid-sentence and peers hesitantly back over his shoulder, meeting a pair of incredibly vivid blue eyes. "Scars?" It could be that A-Wu noticed the fading slave mark on his neck.
"En. I can feel them all over." So not the slave mark, then.
"Even through my robes?"
"En. They feel... spicy. Wrong." He crunches up his face as he tries to find the right word. "Like lightning."
It could only be the scars etched over his meridians, still overflowing with unstable qi. Yue Qi hesitates, but figures that demon tales are probably much more gruesome than what happened to him, so he tells A-Wu everything - the sword, the cave, the dark, all of it. It's a relief to put the nightmare into words, even if his audience is a precocious demon child who looks at him with big sparkling eyes like he's telling a tale of glory or great adventure.
"Cool. All for your... Jiu?"
"Yes." Mobei Wu seems to approve greatly of that.
"You are cool. I will help you."
It makes Yue Qi smile. Such a shame this kid will likely grow up to be something bloodthirsty eventually. He's really too cute right now.
----------
Qiu manor is gone, burned to ash, and Xiao Jiu likely ash along with it. Yue Qi's world is coming down around his ears and he can't even hear what the kindly old merchant is telling him about the incident. It's only when A-Wu tugs on his sleeve when the world comes back to focus.
"They found no dead boy. Only dead men. He can still live."
True, he can't give up hope just yet. What Mobei Wu says is really logical - but where could Xiao Jiu go from here?
The old lady finally notices the unnaturally blue tint of Mobei Wu's skin and takes a fearful step back. "...Demon?"
"No!" Yue Qi steps between them quickly, shielding the boy with his body. "My little brother just ate a cursed fruit, that's all! It will wear off in a day or two."
He's been trying to live a righteous life since he joined the sect, but to someone like him lying comes as easy as breathing.
"Oh, that's all right, then. I thought you might be like that horrible demonic cultivator who lurked here before."
The mention of a cultivator - even a demonic one - makes Yue Qi perk up. He makes some careful questions, about the fire and when they last saw the demonic cultivator in the area, where he might have left for, whether he had someone with him... By the time he says his thank yous he's certain of it: if Xiao Jiu lives, he is with this Wu Yanzi.
They regroup on the edge of the city, where Yue Qi hands Mobei Wu a stick of tanghulu and rolls out a map to figure out where the demonic cultivator could be if he's traveling on foot with a teenager in tow. The demon is fascinated by the map, asking all sorts of questions about distances and directions in as few words as possible, his face scrunched up in another frown.
"We should probably get you home before I go after Xiao Jiu," Yue Qi says with a sigh, circling the most likely area. "We are a week behind them and I can't fly by sword yet. I will need to buy a horse or catch a cart if I want to catch up to them."
Mobei Wu growls, then looks up from the map, wiping a sticky hand on his shirt before he points east. "That way?"
"Yes, I think so." Before Yue Qi can ask anything, the ground opens up beneath him and he's falling through a cold, dark void.
It doesn't last long. He lands in a lake with a huge splash, just outside of one of the cities halfway to their goal. Mobei lands on top of the water - did he flash freeze it? Such a cool kiddo - with the map safely held in his arms and a very, very smug little smile.
"So, were you aiming for the water on purpose?" Yue Qi asks some time later as he tries to dry his clothes with a fire talisman.
"En. You count distances differently than we do." It's a big lake, allowing a bigger margin of error than portaling straight into the city and getting stuck in a building, probably.
"Smart."
"En." Smug little thing. When he's smirking like that he looks almost like Xiao Jiu.
"How far can you go?"
Mobei seems to think this through, his eyebrows pinched together as he calculates from whatever metric the demons use. "2000."
"2000 bu?" That was a good distance. They could easily catch up to them with that kind of skill, even if Wu Yanzi and Xiao Jiu haven't lingered anywhere on the way.
"Li." Yue Qi chokes on air as he tries to comprehend that distance, but thankfully Xiao Wu doesn't seem to take note of it. "But only in one realm. And only after I eat."
"We'll find you something nice to eat then. What would you like?"
"Meat." A-Wu's smile widens, showing sharp teeth.
"Let's get you some dumplings then. Sounds good?" A-Wu considers it for a long time before he nods.
"En."
Having a teleporting little rascal with him really speeds up the search, even if keeping up with A-Wu's appetite is eating (heh) into his travel funds. Whatever ancestral magic this is, it takes a lot out of the kid, leaving him endearingly dazed and sleepy between jumps. They quickly establish a cover story: the demonic cultivator cursed Yue Qi's little brother to look like a demon, so he's hunting the man to force him to undo the curse. A good sob story always makes people so much more willing to cooperate, especially when it involves a cute child and Mobei Wu is, objectively speaking, cute as a button. Old grannies and grandfathers ooh and aah over him and are quick to point them towards Wu Yanzi's trail.
In the end, they find them much sooner than Yue Qi expects. They walk into a shady looking inn on the edge of a small town and he immediately spots Xiao Jiu, hunkered down in the shadow of a scarred man with a dark mane of hair.
Their eyes meet and everything becomes a blur for a while, his awareness narrowed down to Xiao Jiu. Yue Qi hold him close and murmurs nonsense reassurances into his hair - he's never letting Xiao Jiu go ever again.
Even through the happy fog of the reunion, the sound of a sword being drawn is unmistakable. "Where do you think you are taking my disciple?" Wu Yanzi asks, eyes narrowed. Xiao Jiu spins around, to yell or to fight, Yue Qi will never know, because A-Wu chooses that moment to open another portal and whisk them away. He's getting very used to the feeling of suddenly falling through a frigid void.
It's another lake, this time somewhere much further away. "Xiao Wu, you need to stop opening those underneath people," Yue Qi scolds the unrepentant demon child as he drags the angrily splashing Xiao Jiu to the shore.
There are questions and answers, tears and hugs and no small amount of yelling. They strip their wet clothes off so it's impossible to hide his scars, stark red lines all over his skin, and in the face of Xiao Jiu's anger he caves and tells him everything. While they talk Mobei Wu falls asleep curled up on Yue Qi's miraculously dry bedroll and when they are done they curl around him from both sides too, shielding their precious little helper from the elements.
When the wake up in the morning the child is gone, as if he was never there. He has left behind a string with two beads, cool to the touch from familiar chilly qi.
"A token of thanks? One bead for each of us." Yue Qi suggests.
"Don't be ridiculous. As if a little demon would thank a cultivator for anything," Xiao Jiu scoffs, but he takes one of the beads anyway.
"I hope he gets home safe."
"Think about whether we get home or not! Stupid, soft-hearted Qi-ge. Do we even know how far away we are from your sect?"
Yue Qi can't help but beam down at him, fully aware that he's smiling the awkward, lopsided smile he trained himself out of because his shizun found it unattractive. He missed his thorny Xiao Jiu.
"You are right. Let's go home."
----------
Years later, Sect Leader Yue follows indulgently after his favorite shidi, Shen Jiu deep in the middle of a rant.
"If you are worried about Shang-shidi's safety, you are allowed to say so, shidi," he cuts in with practiced ease.
"Who's worried for that shifty vermin?! I worry for the sect! There is something going on with him and I suspect a security breach." Shen Qingqiu practically kicks down the door of the leisure house, startling the man inside into jumping and dropping the armful of books he was holding. "'Shang-shidi, we need to talk."
"Shen-shixiong, Zhangmen-shixiong, this is not a good time. I'm actually really quite busy..."
"Make time for us."
Yue Qingyuan indulgently follows Shen Jiu inside, noting that Shang Qinghua's eyes keep flickering all over the room, everywhere except towards the closed door of his bedroom. Highly suspicious.
Shang Qinghua is still stammering out excuses and making pleading eyes at Yue Qingyuan to please make his shidi go away. Yue Qingyuan lets him squirm for a few minutes before he interrupts, with his kindest smile.
"Shidi, we are simply worried for your health. Your head disciple reported that you have showed up with more bruises than usual."
Shang Qinghua mumbles something that sounds suspiciously like 'traitor'.
"Shidi," Yue Qingyuan tries again. "You know that you can trust us. I promise that you are not in trouble." Shen Qingqiu huffs, but refrains from commenting when Yue Qingyuan sends him a look. "Please, allow us to..."
A lot of things happen all at once. The bead Yue Qingyuan wears on a simple string around his neck turns so cold it almost burns, and based on the low hiss coming from Shen Jiu the same thing is happening to his. Ice climbs up the walls and the door, blocking their way out of the house. The door to the bedroom is kicked open and good gods that's a very big, very muscular ice demon staring at them with very bright blue eyes.
"My king?" Shang Qinghua squeaks, his eyes bouncing between the ice demon and his two shixiongs in alarm.
The demon ducks into the room and stalks towards them, every step spreading the ice further. There is something familiar in his face, but Yue Qingyuan is much more occupied by the sight of really quite a lot of uncovered skin and the many, many freshly treated cuts all over him.
Finally, he stops just outside of sword range and almost hesitantly rumbles: "Qi-ge?"
Oh. So that's why he was so familiar. He smiles up at Mobei Wu. "It seems I really can't call you 'Xiao Wu' anymore, can I?"
Mobei Wu huffs, the corner of his mouth lifting in something that could be a smile, and the ice encroaching on the room starts melting. "Mobei-Jun." He raises his hands in a salute. "Nominally, for now. Since yesterday."
He can tell the exact moment when Shen Jiu connects the dots - that the little teleporting rascal that helped Yue Qi track him down through half the countryside is now the Northern Demon King. His carefully cultivated mask cracks and he collapses next to the tea table with a wordless sound of outrage. "Shang Qinghua!"
Their shidi startles, once again dropping the books he just started picking back up.
"Yes, Shen-shixiong?"
"Be a good host and make us tea. And then explain how this,-" With his closed fan he gestures between Mobei-Jun and Shang Qinghua. "- happened."
"It's a long story," Mobei-Jun supplies, taking place next to the table and sprawling in a decadent, demonic fashion.
"That's all right." Yue Qingyuan joins them, briefly running his hand down Shen Qingqiu's tense back to soothe him. "We have the time to listen."
It's an unexpected reunion, but not necessarily a bad one. Xiao Wu was a good kid and when he looks carefully he can still see him in Mobei-Jun, despite the years of stoic frost that settled over his features.
There are much worse allies one could have than the Prodigious Demon King of the Northern Realm.

I like having An Ding Peak uniforms be yellow because of the color contrast with Mobei-Jun's blues and blacks, though I also like An Ding Peak in blues and green just fine.
But I also like An Ding Peak in yellow because the Huan Hua Palace robes are gold, and I can imagine Mobei-Jun panicking upon his first encounter with Shang Qinghua and the other An Ding Peak disciples because he initially mistakes them for Huan Hua disciples. Especially when this is just after whatever conflict landed him with the Ling Hua dart in his side.
In this case, Mobei-Jun has not told Shang Qinghua that he thought he was from Huan Hua Palace at first and never will tell. He's embarrassed.
...Aaaaand now I'm thinking about a Huan Hua Shang Qinghua fic. I think I did some art for that AU at some point.

Rating: Mature Fandom: 人渣反派自救系统 - 墨香铜臭 | The Scum Villain's Self-Saving System - Mòxiāng Tóngxiù Relationship: Mobei-jun/Shang Qinghua Additional Tags: Alternate Universe - Always a Different Gender or Sex, Female Mobei-jun/Female Shang Qinghua, POV Mobei-jun, Shang Qinghua in Sha Hualing's clothes, Bottom Shang Qinghua, Top Mobei-jun, maybe some consent issues but it's part and parcel with the whole moshang dynamic imo
Mobei-jun opens the door to her chamber, and finds that Shang Qinghua is actually on the other side of it; specifically, she’s sitting on the pile of furs that make up Mobei-jun’s bed. She makes a little surprised gasp when Mobei-jun enters, but Mobei-jun stares in absolute silence, without moving a muscle. Because Shang Qinghua isn’t wearing the plain, simple An Ding robes she normally has on, the ones that make her look like a harmless little human who can fade into the background. Instead, she has on a number of very transparent pieces of light blue silk that look like something Sha Hualing would be traipsing around in ...
I just haven't been able to write more than a couple of sentences at a time lately, so I unleashed my id and wrote a ridiculous spicy fem!Moshang ficlet today to try to prime the pump. Enjoy!

Let's make a oneshot of Idol Trainee Shang Qinghua singing Symphony. Why? Why Not?
For those who want to listen:
————————————————————
The Whales of the Rainbow Night were to have their annual homecoming tonight.
Legend says that they were descended from a sea god that granted the wish of a mourning fish who wished to see their beloved whose soul ascended into the heavens, and apologize for their tumultuous last moments together before they passed.
The sea god granted their wish, giving them the ability to fly on the rainbow shimmers that float across the sky, swimming through them to reach the barrier that separate the heavens and the earth.
Their lover stood at the edge, but were unable to touch. Unphased, the fish sang his love and devotion to his lover, their melody enchanting all those that could hear it till dawn when the lights in the sky would cease.
To make a wish on one of these creatures to the person you love the most and they will carry it on their back to them. Sing with them and gain their goodwill. If your talents prove to charm them, you most certainly will have your wishes fulfilled.
▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎
Shang Qinghua sits on the cold mat that was laying on the snow, excitedly waiting for midnight to strike.
It was rare for the Peak Lord to be given the time to rest at all, much less vacation. But for the days that he could, Shang Qinghua would most certainly cherish them.
Mobei-jun stands behind him in waiting, eyes concentrated towards the sky in hopes of something to suddenly appear. Like a leopard lying in wait for the moment, his king stands picturesque against the snowy field, navy blue robes that flow to the ground in elegant waterfalls of fabric akin to a watercolour portrait, his face a beacon against the twinkling dots of the night sky.
Mobei-jun sits behind Shang Qinghua, propping his most devoted's head as Airplaine gazed to the heavens above. He tucks a strand of hair behind Qinghua's ear as in a second, wisps of glimmering silver began to scatter across the canvas of the night.
"They will arrive at any moment" He states, eyes trained to look at Qinghua and only him, the feeling of something warm making itself known in his chest as he watches Qinghua look up, content to wait and to stargaze.
The colours intensify, silver brushes the black night with a mosaic of colours, reds, greens, and blues streaking the sky in momentary flashes that swirl with a sense of fluttering fancy.
Shang Qinghua stands up in joy as he sees it in the distance, the silhouettes that swim between the walls of light, their tails casting shadow as their presence is made known
"My King! Look, they've arrived," Shang Qinghua urged his king to look close at the incoming flock, a look on his face that made Mobei-jun pleased, solidifying his gratitude in choosing this moment to bring Qinghua to.
The sky sparkled as their bodies shimmered against the light in waves, coated in ethereal colors while they sand together, a choral harmony that was vaguely familiar to Airplane, as if he could still hear the sqeaking sound of rubber soles on hardwood and the feeling of expectations.
It takes a moment for recognition to click in his brain, but the moment he does, his eyes light up like he just learned the most pleasant secret, a special token given just for him.
A deep breath, a pause to get in time with the melody of the whales as they spoke their song, and began to sing.
"And now your song is on repeat, and I'm dancing on to your heartbeat"
He began to sing the song that got him the place at his old company, where he would spend years with dedication before becoming the hack author he was in his past life.
"And when you're gone, I'll be incomplete. So of you want the truth,"
Shang Qinghua took a deep breath, muscle memory from decades past as he flexed his vocal muscles instinctually, readying his voice for the climax.
"I just wanna be part of your Symphony! Will you hold me tight and not let go?"
"Symphony! Like a love song on the radio, will you hold me tight and not let go?"
His voice echoed throughout the vast landscape, memory tinged his voice the colour of the past as he gave his performance to no one but the dolphins in the sky and his king, who had been watching intently.
----------------------------------------
"Ah, ah, ah, a-ah, ah, ah, ah"
Mobei-jun watches as a faction splintered off from the main group, swimming downwards towards the duo, responding with a melody of their own
"Ah, ah, ah, a-ah, ah, ah, ah"
Like a command, the whales of the night call back, repeating the melody they sang as they begin to float above both him and Qinghua, gleefully spectating.
"And now your song is on repeat, and I'm dancing on to your heartbeat"
"And when you're gone, I'll be incomplete. So of you want the truth,"
A particularly shiny dolphin swam around the crowd to fly just behind Mobei-jun, their body slowly nudging his well-built frame towards Shang Qinghua, who was deep into his passionate performance and unnoticing of a pair doing the same thing, pulling the two closer and closer.
"I just wanna be part of your Symphony! Will you hold me tight and not let go?"
"Symphony! Like a love song on the radio,"
"Symphony! Will you hold me tight and not let go?"
Shang Qinghua feels a hand brush the stray curls on his forhead and looks up, more aware of his surroundings but still able to belt his way to the end of the song. He feels fingers interlock, cold against warm skin as he looks into his king's eyes, his words now more than just lyrics but a question.
"Symphony! Like a love song on the radio, will you hold me tight and not let go?"
The Whales of the Rainbow Night cheer, finishing their job and flying away, having accomplished another wish as Mobei-Jun wraps an arm around his lover's waist, pulling Shang Qinghua closer.
No words were spoken, but everything was said, and everything was answered.

hello have my one svsss oc i made. it's also technically a piece of a different theoretical first meeting between sqh and mbj, but this seriously focuses more on the oc so like... pay no attention to canon characters lmao
There was another cultivator here.
Shang Qinghua could see her flying in now, a woman gracefully dismounting from her sword in a swirl of blue and black. Wow, this area must have gotten a lot of complaints if there was another one showing up, huh? Shang Qinghua hadn't even been gone that long!
"Hey!" Shang Qinghua shouted, and the other cultivator snapped her head towards them -- or, a bit more noticeably, the golden barrier encasing them. Beautiful and delicate, like a fragile sphere of glass, except fucking punching the goddamn thing didn't do anything but break fingers.
Not that Shang Qinghua had tried! Mobei-jun had, though! This entire situation was bad, but Shang Qinghua had to admit it was a little gratifying that the demon who had been scaring the shit out of him ever since they'd gotten trapped in the same bubble had to deal with the consequences of punching the equivalent of a steel wall!
"What are you doing," Mobei-jun hissed, probably worried that the lady cultivator was going to try killing him on sight.
"Hey, do you have any better ideas?" Shang Qinghua hissed back. Shang Qinghua wasn't great at barriers, Mobei-jun wasn't great at barriers, and neither of them had enough qi to even make an attempt to break out. The latter wouldn't have been an issue if, for some reason, they didn't seem to be recovering any qi, either.
If they did nothing, then the only thing they were going to do was die in here.
Mobei-jun scowled at him. Shang Qinghua took great pleasure in the fact that Mobei-jun couldn't do anything but scowl at him.
The woman slowed to a stop just before the barrier, leaning in carefully. This close, it was easy to tell she wouldn't have been out of place on An Ding -- slightly unkempt, with faint shadows under her dark eyes and a smudge of ink on her forehead. Put her in yellow robes, and she really could have been one of his seniors running around during tax season!
"Madam! Excuse me!" Shang Qinghua cried out, making sure to look extra pathetic. "But this one and his companion have run into some trouble! Is madam any good at breaking barriers or wards?"
"Hmm," said the woman, tapping ink-stained fingertips against the golden surface of the barrier.
Then her fingertips sunk through, and Shang Qinghua had a brief moment of relief that she was able to do something at all. And then, suddenly, he was feeling... bad. Drained? Somehow way more drained?
There was a dull thud beside him. Mobei-jun had hit the ground. That was...
Oooooooh no.
"Interesting," the woman said, and withdrew her hand. It was glowing gold -- the same gold as the barrier, the same gold as her eyes, the same gold as the smudge of ink on her forehead that was actually very much not actually a smudge of ink, was it.
Not a righteous cultivator!!! Very much not a righteous cultivator!
Fuck!

Nezuko!Reader x SVSSS Part 3
Tumblr media
Shen Jiu did not like anyone in the palace.
Or would it be correct to say that he was wary of everyone and bit anyone who tried to touch him and you. Understandable since you were his caretaker/parent. But still, the moment Luo Binghe went up to you to hug you, the child literally climbed into your arms and snarled at the Emperor of the Demon Realm. He even bit after the finger that was a hair's breadth from your being, which would’ve been chopped off if the half demon hadn’t pulled away in time. You had given Shen Jiu a thorough scolding when the two of you were alone.
Though it did not soured the protagonist’s happiness as he smiled at you with joy and brought you to a room with a bed and a closet full of clothes. Actual clothes. You could almost cry. A room connected to the one you’re in was a bathroom with soaps, incense, and a tub. You took A-Jiu to the bath and removed your fur pelts from your bodies before going in the tub full of hot water. Shen Jiu sighed as you scrubbed and rinsed his hair and body, making sure to be thorough in the process.
After you both were washed, you went back to the bedroom to put on clothes. When you peered through the robes of different colours, a certain blue and white robe and pants caught your eye before you chose it as your outfit for the day. Sadly, when you peered through the clothes for a pair of Shen Jiu’s size, there was none. The child just had to make due with your fur pelts for now. You’ll have to ask Luo Binghe or Mobei Jun to make clothes for your kid.
Shen Jiu took the liberty to brush your hair, grabbing the hair brush from the vanity and tugging you to sit down on the chair. Despite being a child, Shen Jiu was not bad with a brush, taking care of any knots or tangles that were in your hair. You glancing down at your locks, you noticed that it fades from black to a certain colour when going down. Shen Jiu called your by your family title — or the title that he decided for you when he was old enough to speak — to announce that he was done.
You had taken a look in the mirror and was satisfied and quite proud of how you look. Just like everyone in this novel, you were quite attractive. A pretty person if you were being honest. Though, you can’t really compare with Luo Binghe or Mobei Jun if compared with males; nor can you compare with Sha Hualing when it comes to females.
Oh, well.
You were summoned to Luo Binghe’s office.
You left Shen Jiu with a reminder not to cause trouble, putting full faith that the child would not do something stupid. Which would’ve been a very bad idea but you’re betting your money that Shen Jiu is the original Shen Qingqiu reincarnated and has his memories.
A demoness had accompanied you to show you the way, letting you marvel at the magnificence of the building’s interior and design. You weren’t planning to be an architect when you were in the modern world but even you could say that this was a craft of grandeur and wealth.
Though, that doesn’t distract you from the lustful glances the demoness gave you. The moments where you look forward, the demoness would avert her eyes to the front, as if she wasn’t eye-banging you. Though, you ignored her gaze as you noticed you neared double doors with eye-catching carvings. When you neared, you caught voices of two people inside it: one was the familiar deep voice of Luo Binghe and another was not as deep but was stern sounding with a kind lilt to it.
Shen Yuan was your lucky guess,
When approaching, the demoness gave a knock and announced your presence. The voices quieted before a loud enough ‘Enter’ sounded. The doors opened and revealed what seemed to be Luo Binghe’s office; he's seated at a desk that’s filled to the brim with papers and reports. Beside him standing is the infamous Shen Qingqiu, who looks at you with surprise and intrigue but he hides it behind his fan. Jade green eyes peer at you as you enter, glancing at both of them. Luo Binghe beams at you as he stood up and made his way towards you to give you his hug that was denied by your adopted kid.
As you wrapped your arms around him, you felt him sag in relief and contentment before he pulled away with a smile. “I want you to meet my husband,” he then looked at the older man. “This is Shen Qingqiu, my shizun.”
Shen Qingqiu makes his way towards the two of you and smiles, “It is a pleasure to meet the one who took care of my husband during his time in the Abyss.”
You huffed through your nose as you bowed 90 degrees, startling them. “It is an honor to meet the Empress of the Demon Realm.”
“You do not need to do that—!” You heard Shen Qingqiu exclaim, sounding flustered.
A hand pulled you up from your pose and faced you with Luo Binghe—who towers you by inches. “You don’t need to do that,” Luo Binghe said.
You tilted your head at them, “Oh, okay.”
Getting the go, you walked a bit closer to Shen Qingqiu and examined him, ignoring his nervousness when he stepped back. The voice that called your name went quiet to your ears as you picked at a stray lock that fell from the Qing Jing peak lord’s style and brushed it behind his ears, you examined his sharp yet soft eyes to his pale skin to his dark hair that had brownish highlights.
“Pretty,” you said as you raised a hand to pat the peak lord’s head. You then glanced at Luo Binghe and smiled. “Luo Binghe, you got yourself a pretty husband.”
Meanwhile, Shen Yuan internally: AAAAH! WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT!? DID I JUST PASSED A PARENT’S TEST!? THAT WAS NERVE-WRACKING! AND WHAT’S WITH THEIR WHOLE APPEARANCE!? THEY’RE TOO PRETTY! CURSE YOU AIRPLANE FOR MAKING UNFAIRLY ATTRACTIVE CHARACTERS!

postcanon moshang comm wip: sqh faces the worst aspect of royal marriages - navigating the politics
Part One Completed Fic
Much to Shang Qinghua's dismay, accepting Mobei Jun's proposal was not the difficult part. The demon king of the north had a council to appease. He was well within his rights to slaughter them all if they disagreed but demon loyalty was fickle, a show of tremendous force could keep their families in line or it could give them a unifying cause to rebel. The council were Mobei Jun's subjects, meant to give him advice on the affairs of the kingdom, follow orders given on how to execute matters discussed. And as their king, Mobei Jun had an unspoken duty to at least feign hearing them out, even if he didn't heed it.
The thought Mobei Jun would paint the halls of his castle in black blood if that was what it took to have Shang Qinghua by his side was terrifying and oddly romantic. And way too much to put on Shang Qinghua's shoulders!
Shang Qinghua stood beside the massive throne of black and pale blue ice, its icicle points reaching high towards the ceiling surpassing Mobei Jun's towering height. Mobei Jun kept his word about the jewelry but he insisted Shang Qinghua wear robes more fitting of a northern king's betrothed. A clear message to the assembled council the seriousness of his intentions. The cloak about his shoulders was fur lined, mirroring Mobei Jun's, and the material of the robes themselves thick and multiple layers. Normal human beings would be weighed down by the amount of fabric alone — forget the traditional assortment of jewelry. As a cultivator, Shang Qinghua felt some of its heft.
This was only the betrothal attire, he shuddered to think how heavy and elaborate the wedding ceremony garb will be.
The long sleeves covering his hands were conveniently hide the nervous clenching of his fists at the ominous atmosphere in the throne room. All the council members entered through a thick haze of their king's aura that hung about the air as they assembled to their respective spots. Only the king may sit. Demons tended to assert their dominance to underlings by their aura alone — Mobei Jun essentially opened discussions by slapping his dick on the table.
Shang Qinghua was torn between pride at his king’s clear show of support and embarrassed by it at the same time. Thankfully most would regard his pink cheeks as a human’s weak reaction to the cold.
He wasn’t divided on the dread coming over him at being the focal point of so much demonic ire. Notably from the pale haired demons from the depths of the north kingdom — Linguang Jun’s domain.
While he was technically exiled from the castle for his attempts to steal Mobei Jun’s rightful powers, Linguang-jun was a member of the ruling family, Mobei Jun’s elder, and responsible for a hereditary territory in the region of perpetual night at the northern most point in the kingdom. Linguang Jun wasn’t a fool. After his first dismissal by Mobei Jun’s father, he made his domain indispensable. Many important and dangerously acquired items came from the mines and caves dotting his land. And one of the oldest, most powerful families called it home.
For all his tricks, Linguang Jun secured himself a voice in the council. Without committing to killing him outright, Mobei Jun accepted it. Linguang Jun’s followers usually didn’t cause him too much trouble.
Shang Qinghua sensed today would be different.
A tall, pale haired woman, only a few centimeters shorter than Mobei Jun, broke the heavy silence.
“My king,” her courtesy was a perfunctory incline of her head and bending of the knees.
Shang Qinghua cursed at her in his head for the bare minimum of respect. He jumped when her black eyes turned to him as though she could read his mind, eyeing his attire with thinly veiled disdain.
“Should this servant offer congratulations? But forgive me, I do not remember the council discussing the significantly important matter of our king’s betrothal.”
The heating talismans on Shang Qinghua’s person seemed unnecessary at first. Now, with the air plummeting so low the weaker demon’s present flinched, Shang Qinghua feeling the strain on the talismans to shield him, he was incredibly grateful.
The woman didn’t so much as blink. She met Mobei Jun’s gaze steadily.
On the other side of the chamber, a demon woman sporting dark hair with streaks of silver stepped forward. She addressed Mobei Jun but it was clear her words were targeted at the woman beside her.
“My king,” her courtesy was deeper, genuine, “It is the understanding of those present we were summoned to discuss this very matter. And this servant rejoices our king has found a candidate worthy of the honor of royal consort.”
Her gaze that drifted to Shang Qinghua was neither cold nor warm. Shang Qinghua doubted any demons were thrilled at their king’s choice in consorts but some were loyal enough to back his decision.
It was better than total opposition.

Deity Qinghua x Human Mobei Jun (with a little Bingqiu)
“Help me rule and become a powerful king”
Qinghua looked at the fragile and battered human at his feet. He could hear the shallow breaths, could smell the pungent smell of his blood-soaked robes and see his broken bones; this human won’t last through the night. But in contrast to his body that welcomed death, his blue eyes held on in defiance. He had an unwavering will to live and within those eyes, this human regarded him as his lifeline.
“Okay.” Qinghua put the reverb on and said in his most cryptic voice, “a life for a life, the price to pay is steep, think, dear human if your heart’s desire--“
“I’ll do it.”
*scratch disk sound*
“??!” Qinghua was over the moon! How naive! Others who have summoned him were all stingy, they read the terms and conditions and haggled with him into submission. It was such a long process but this guy doesn’t even want to know what he’s trading?
“Are you sure you don’t want to go through the fine print?” Qinghua scratched his head. Sure he wanted the merits but this felt like a highway robbery, he wasn’t THAT cold-hearted.
“I am bleeding to death.” 😐
“OH RIGHT!!”
And thus, the little deity helped the mortal, Mobei Jun, regain his strength and conquer the throne. He taught him everything there is to know; about strategies in war and debate, diplomacy, about keeping his court in control and his subjects happy. With Qinghua by the ruler’s side, the northern kingdom experienced a golden age.
The people lived in harmony, no famine nor corruption affected his rule. All was well; EXCEPT QINGHUA HIMSELF. This deity was worked like a dog doing administrative work. “Wuwuwu” he was a face-con swindled into forging a contract without a set expiration date. Rookie mistake but what was he supposed to do?! The beautiful man held his hand and told him to “help me rule” while on death’s door! Kyaaaa! It was romantic~
Anyway, it’s finished. All he had to do now was work himself to the bone until the man was satisfied, so he could earn his end of the bargain and finally unbind their contract.
He was fine.
It was okay.
Until he remembered Shen Qingqiu, deity of fertility, would probably throw merits at him like spare change.
Qinghua clenched his fists and with newly-found determination thought what else the man needed.
☑️ Loyal and honest lackeys
☑️ Intel re: other states and countries
☑️ Favorable public opinion
Wife? YES WIFE!!! Mobei Jun needed a spouse to make his rule absolute, not to mention his need for heirs! The little deity fiercely studied the art of romance and started collating information about possible spouses fit for a king.
He started with small touches, he’d graze the back of his hands, then it turned to massaging his shoulders after long court sessions and now he helped the king don his robes daily. The man was so touch-averse and prickly at the start. Now he would even initiate h*nd h*lding even though he still looked stone-faced all the time. Ding! Success! Laozi is the best in the world!! ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ
Then, he started praising the man more. Communication is a two-way street, Qinghua had to lead by example.
“My King your hair crown looks good on you.”
“Dawang is wise! But this one suggests…”
“Mobei Jun is fierce yet just. Reliable and unparalleled by all!”
The taller man who was usually fair would turn an exquisite shade of pink under his declarations. Shang Qinghua thought it was cute seeing him squirm until the man learned how to counterattack.
“Qinghua looks beautiful, but I’d like it if… you only wore this in front of me.”
“I trust your judgement the most.”
“Only ask and it shall be done.”
Sometimes they’d whisper in each other’s ear as if they were the only ones in the room, and yes they’d playfully banter during official court sessions but that just means Mobei Jun can now communicate his needs better with his future wife! This was the most important agenda!
The whole court: ???
Envoys bringing princesses to present: ???
The Mobei Clan: ???
Finally, this deity was soooo dedicated that he would dress up in MBJ’s colors and go on practice dates with him.  So what if he took hours to chose an outift that showed his best assets? And what could be done if they wanted run and hide in the royal gardens, giggling and sharing Mobei Jun’s hand-pulled noodles?
It was all for training! Until Mobei Jun suddenly pulled out a ring and he started crying saying “yes!” until he was incoherent. He could have kept his professional air... except Mobei Jun’s tongue was in his mouth and the last of his garments were holding for dear life by the end of the night.
—
“You forget, this one is charitable and pure of heart. When I granted your wish I needed a life for a life.” SQH teased as he looked at his husband.
“Qinghua, baobei, I dedicate my life only to y—“
“Stop!!” SQH put his hand on the other’s mouth only to be met with kisses. He was suffering from too much success. This king turned out to be so  cringy affectionate.
“Anyway, I wasn’t taking your life. I meant to take your first born.”
“Okay.”
“What?”
“You wanted my first born.” Mobei Jun touched his little wife’s stomach and looked at him with shining eyes, “We will do what Qinghua wants.”
And that’s when the little deity raised his white flag in earnest. He could never win against his husband.
END
(EXTRA)
It has been 3 months since Luo Binghe received a book of possible wives from Mobei Jun; a gift from his consort. Shen Qingqiu, deity of fertility, has been roaming the world with his new contractee in search of a suitable spouse, but none of them passed LBH’s screening.
Ning Yingying
Sha Hualing
Liu Mingyan
Liu Qingge (?)
There are more people on the list but everyday the deity loses a bit of hope. He tries not to dwell on Junshang’s hot and appraising stares directed at him. He consoled himself that the other was very straight™️.

[Kinktober 2021: Breeding (18+)]
MoShang | Scum Villain Self-Saving system 08-10-2021
Day 8: [Breeding] / B̷o̷d̷y̷ ̷M̷o̷d̷i̷f̷i̷c̷a̷t̷i̷o̷n̷ / S̷e̷n̷s̷o̷r̷y̷ ̷D̷e̷p̷r̷i̷v̷a̷t̷i̷o̷n̷
Shang Qinghua stumbles on a wife plot who temporarily changes his body to make him able to have children. They end up taking good advantage of that curse.
====
Shang Qinghua had lost count of how many times he had gone to his cucumber bro for some help with the plot he forgot about himself. The man was truly a walking encyclopaedia. It was often not too bad, but then there were days like today, when he was feeling hot all over and his lower region was feeling really strange. He had somewhat guessed it would be a wife plot:
anything to make the wife fuck with Luo Binghe was a wife plot. But of course, now they were stuck with those because the novel story had totally changed.
"I was following my king on a hunt when I saw those nice flowers, So I got closer, wondering if I could remember what they were, I assumed it was safe since I didn’t remember a flower looking like that being poisonous, but then when I tried touching it, I pricked myself on a spike I didn’t see” sqh had been explaining, laying down on a cushion as sqq drank some tea. “I didn’t feel anything at the moment, but then yesterday I started feeling weird all over the place and didn’t want to worry my King about it since he already has so much work to do”.
Sqq wanted to sigh at some of the detail not being useful. “I cannot really help if I do not know what that flower looks like” he points out.
“The petal was similar to those of a lily, but there was easily more than a dozen of them, there were a dark blue with blue-white-ish dotes going up the middle of the petals.
The stamens were rather long and pale and the thingy on top was kinda shaped like a heart now that I thinks of it”.
“Did it have a lot of leaf at the bottom which hides most of the spikes?” sqq asked, only for sqh to nod. His fellow transmigrator sighed heavily, “You fell into a wife plot again, you created that flower for wife #539 who was unable to get pregnant and so she tried using that flower to be able to have a child” sqq mentioned.
“But I should be safe right?” sqh asked, not remembering that.
“You wrote that it was so great that even man could get pregnant when under its effect, which by the way last easily for a week”.
And this is how he now was in his room (which had been a while since the last time, he kind of unofficially moved into Mobei-jun room), robes loose around him as he was trying to relieve himself from the heat.
What should he do now? He couldn't exactly hide from his King for /minimum/of a week. He didn't want to look like some of these demons that had done it on purpose in the past to try and lure mbj and somewhat trap him with a child (and he knew it could happen because he wrote a couple of plots like this!).
Plus he never heard anything that could tell him mbj was actually interested in having children. Sure he would most likely need an heir one day, but as of now mbj never showed any interest.
Sqh was truly unsure of what he should do now, other than try and relieve himself from the heat and arousal that came with his situation. Plus he could discover just how exactly this curse was affecting him as it did create physical changes he didn't notice before.
His king should be busy all day so he should be able to figure something out before he came back to their shared room to see he was not there.
But as he was thinking this he was surprised by the sound of a portal opening next to his bed, mbj stepping out. Sqh took a moment to react properly, pulling the blanket around him to hide his near-nudity and in just what kind of state he truly was.
“M-my King! What brings you here? I thought you would be busy all day” he called out, blushing even more than he already was before.
“a servant told me you looked unwell” he answered as he walked closer to the bed, clearly sniffing at the air. “and told me you smell strangely very sweet".
Sqh wasn't sure what to think of that. Had he added such a thing? For demons to be able to smell when another was ready to conceive? He then saw his pupils dilate, as if mbj had finally understood, looking a bit shocked, suddenly grabbing the blanket. He wasn't quick enough to pull it back, instead feeling himself being pulled closer to mbj.
He didn't really resist at the hands pulling his legs apart, the demon confirming for himself as sqh was hiding in his hand.
His slightly altered anatomy was now on full display for mbj who looked very interested. “this servant is sorry for the inconvenient” sqh managed to say, nearly letting out a squeak as he felt his finger tease against his already wet pussy.
“I-I am sorry for the inconvenience I will try to find a way to deal with this!” sqh quickly said, unsure if mbj would think this was troublesome to deal with.
“Sect Leader Shen said it would easily take at least a week to die down and I do not want to be a burden for my King so I decided to come here t-”.
The peak lord’s rambling was cut off by passionate lips meeting his, feeling himself being pushed down into the mattress, mbj climbing over him as robes were being undone. It took a moment to realise mbj was actually making a move /while he just learned/ he could get pregnant.
“Wait wait, my King, right now might not be the right time” he tried to say. Wondering where this sudden burst of arousal in his husband came from. Was it contagious?
The kissing and sucking on his neck stopped as the demon looked back at him. Is sqh against the idea of having a child?” mbj asked, studying his reaction greatly.
To this sqh wasn’t sure what to say. He had obviously never expected to be asked, especially not since neither of them was supposed to be able to bear a child. Sqh never thought about having any in his life, but he wasn’t against the idea.
“W-well no” he started, looking a bit to the side, “I simply thought my King was not interested in having any since he never talked about it before and ignore anyone who inquired about your plan to have an heir” he explained.
“I didn’t want children with anyone else than sqh” mbj replied, making the man blush at that declaration. He had not expected the reason to be because mbj wanted this kid to be theirs, not from someone else. It had probably been ruled out since neither of them was supposed to be able to do that.
A hand was gently rubbing his tights before he was pulled closer to, mbj settling between his legs, cock already hard and now resting against him. He moved his hips a bit, causing something sqh to feel rather new things.
“But if sqh is against bearing our child I will understand, “ mbj said.
Maybe it was because of the effect of the flower, but the way he was talking about /their/ child made something in him warm. He wasn't against that, it was actually reassuring in a way, mbj wouldn't need to find someone else for an heir.
“Yes I want to!” he says. Sure, it’s scary to think that he’ll have a growing being in him and is also unsure what will happen once he gives birth (if nothing goes badly...).
Sqh was waiting for mbj to get to it immediately but instead felt fingers entering where he had already been fingering himself. He may have never led with a lady before, but he was pretty sure that he would be alright, yet there wasn’t really much to convince mbj of that. Maybe telling him he needed it usually was the reason.
But the moment mbj deemed him ready enough there was probably nothing to stop him. He was fucking into his husband, still making sure he seemed alright, but never really stopping since it seemed all right.
Sqh was rather surprised by the rather different feeling of that pussy, moaning even more when mbj decided to see what teasing his cock would do.
After one round sqh was already a bit tired, especially since he had been pleasuring himself for a while before. Yet mbj was not done, large hands still on his hips, cock never leaving its warm embrace as he went back to being hard.
Sure, he was now used to Demon apparently having endless stamina in bed, but it was probably some of the first time that mbj could get back at it so quickly. Maybe the effect of the flower was wearing off on his husband too.
Sqh felt like they would pass the whole evening and night at it, mbj clearly set on breeding him until he was sure he would get pregnant. Good thing mbj had energy for two people since at some point sqh became tired and unable to do much himself.
It had started with him laying on his back, like this he could get all the kisses he wanted, then he tried riding his husband to not have him do all the work, enjoying the way mbj would look at him bounce up and down to milk him.
Then he ended up being flipped over so he was laying face down and ass up for better access, mbj more than happy to keep fucking into him like this. They had one important mission and he would take it seriously.
It was fun and all riding and having sex with his King with this new pussy, but he was but a mere human, nothing that could compare to mbj stamina. At some point he was happy to simply let mbj fuck his semen into him, his brain already feeling mushy from all the pleasure and orgasm he just had. He was pretty sure he had never been fuck this much before.
He ended up so full he was pretty sure no more could fit into him, even feeling some of the cum dripping out of him when mbj finally came out of him, laying down beside him and hugging him close.  “My King is doing a great job” sqh laughed slightly, feeling exhausted.
He felt mbj humming against the top of his head. “We need to do more to make sure it works”.
Sqh was already exhausted at the idea but smiled softly at that. He wouldn’t mind being exhausted now if it meant having a child with mbj.

As he walked through the forest, enjoying the crisp night air that caressed his face, a scream suddenly echoed throughout the forest, an explosion following shortly afterwards. At the scream, the young man paused and looked around, a frown of confusion on his face.
‘I thought I was the only one out here at this hour…so who screamed?’

SVSSS, mobei Jun X Shang qinghua, bridgerton au. Summary: “You speak of my engagement to Gongyi Xiao,” Shang Qinghua says. He’s quiet today. Distant. “The banns will no doubt be read this coming Sunday.”
Mobei Jun’s chest tightens. His fingers curl into fists. “Why?”
“He proposed, Your Grace,” Shang Qinghua says mildly. “There seemed to be no other offers forthcoming, and he is an acceptable match.”
“I came back, didn’t I?” Mobei Jun asks, hoarse.
(Or, the Bridgerton-inspired AU nobody asked for.)

Guardian X The Lost Tomb (dmbj) crossover. Summary: The fact was simple: Wu Xie, the antique shop owner, had been a good friend of Shen Wei for a while - how it had happened was a long and ridiculous story, which Zhao Yunlan had heard five times and had stopped trying to understand, - and he was one of the few people who had always known that Shen Wei was Dixingren. And it was Wu Xie who Shen Wei had chosen to ask for help in his severe case of inability to confess his love - even if that love was something ridiculously explicit at that point.

Silent Reading, Fei Du X Luo Wenzhou, I LOVE THIS FIC, character study, canon compliant. Alxina writes amazing Silent Reading fics <3 Summary: Luo Wenzhou has several headaches in his life, and one of them is called Fei Du.
When he gets called into Chengguang Mansion to pick up Fei Du on his request, Luo Wenzhou has no idea what to expect. He now knows better than to walk in with expectations where Fei Du is concerned. However, this time Luo Wenzhou finds himself in deeper water, because apparently, nothing is what it seems.
Least of all, Fei Du.

Guardian, Weilan, Ye Zun X Kunlun, post canon fix it fic, Ye Old Haixing, dark, angst with a happy ending, time travel. (Yeah I'm reccing my fic lol). Summary: Zhao Yunlan is brought back to life. Then he is brought back in time 10,000 years, to a version of the past that is different from the one he experienced the first time. And Shen Wei is alive and okay, but it’s not clear if that means everything Zhao Yunlan hopes it does. Also, Ye Zun is there. And Kunlun never died.
Or: Shen Wei and Ye Zun did end up okay, together, after they died, after Shen Wei promised to be with Zhao Yunlan again. This is the story of them all finding their way to that better ending.
