i’ve said this before but i’ll say it again just in case. if you ever see me posting about peter or spider-man, much less writing about him with either frank or matt (or both<3), just know i am writing about peter in either format as a grown ass man. i do not post mcu spider-man, i am not one of those people who likes the ‘parental figure’ stuff, i am not talking about him. i am talking about late twenties/early thirties, broke, bisexual, kind of a loser peter parker who fell asleep in his mask and has had three jobs in the past 6 months with a masters degree under his belt that he probably won’t ever use. very much comics and tasm peter / peter three combined. not whatever is going on with the mcu.

Thinking about that deleted scene between Kaidan and Jenkins and how Kaidan set a boundary and was rather nice about it and Jenkins still pushed the issue because Kaidan is obviously a circus animal who is obligated to show anyone his powers when asked.

I feel even less bad about Jenkin’s death now quite frankly, like I was neutral before but now karma is my boyfriend 😒

I don’t blame Kaidan for how he reacted, I’m sure he felt bad later but like…he has a disability triggered by his biotics. If he says he’s tired and seems crankier than usual there’s a good reason 😒

I think my “block list” on my personal FB account is longer than my friends list.

I see a friend-of-friend posting on a mutual’s page… FoF is a git I either do not like IRL, or maybe they say really dumb stuff I cannot stand to see.

I block them so that I can continue to have positive relationships with my friends, and not have to deal with ignorant louts.

Social media is a highly self-curated experience.

There is ZERO shame in blocking anyone you want, for any reason you want.

genuine tip for any tumblr newcomers: block literally whoever you want for any reason. even if you've never talked to them. they don't even need to be "problematic" or whatever. that person posting the worst takes imaginable in your favorite show's tag? block em. that person who runs a blog dedicated to a ship that makes you want to gouge your eyes out? block em. that person you've never interacted with directly but they left a comment on a post you saw and they just seem like a dick? block em.

I cannot be the only person who genuinely does not care if characterization in a fic is 100% compliant with characterization in canon.

Like. I care if it's well-written? I care if it's engaging and makes me feel things? And I care if it's internally consistent, i.e. the characterization within the fic remains the same.

It's just weird to occasionally trip over posts of people arguing that their interpretation is more valid and accurate to the canon and I'm just sitting here realizing that I literally could not care less.
