there are these two birds this morning, sitting right next to each other, on one of the topmost branches of the tree outside of my office window, occasionally singing in the still-below-freezing-but-warmer-than-it’s-been-all-week winter sun, and it’s genuinely making me so happy like. look at them 🥹❣️

I love winter, and it really is my favorite season, but one thing I miss terribly on those truly frigid days is the sound of birds singing. it made this morning truly so, so beautiful. hi birdies I love you ❤️🥹💖❣️
